Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back everybody to METS Bets. It is a Wednesday,
December eleventh edition of the show, and boy do I
got a good one for you. We are talking Tampa
Bay Downs Race six on this Wednesday card, and I
am super excited to see a horse that had a
ton of trouble last time out at Tampa get a
chance to run again. We're looking at the horse Ospray,

(00:23):
all right, so race four, horse six, that is Ospray
at three to one on the morning line, running at
a very similar level, at the same level that it
did earlier in this meat at Tampa. Ran on opening
day in an optional claimer for sixteen thousand dollars for
non winners of one. And look, this is a horse
that should have won his first race here at Tampa,

(00:46):
and unfortunately the jockey Jose Batista lost the irons and
had to kind of take a break in the race.
And it still came back and nearly got up to win,
lost by a neck, ran second. And I think that
Osprey is an automatic bet back for me. You have
to go back to the well. There's there are a
couple other horses that will take some money here, and
I think that Osprey is one. Go watch the tape, right,

(01:10):
go watch the replay. I think you'll agree Osprey was
much the best that day. And I think that Jose
Batista good jockey, looking for you know, a couple more wins. Right,
he's been a little cold in the wing column, but
he's been all over the board, and I think that
Batista gets it done with one area. Gotta the trainer
a couple others to look at. I liked ever do
It the six horse in this race. I liked him

(01:31):
in his I liked him in this race with Ospray.
He wasn't my top pick. We're kind of going back
for my top pick in my alternate with Osprey and
ever do It. I liked ever do Its form coming
out of Keenland. Ran third at Keenland for a thirty
thousand dollars claimer, and you know ran okay, moved up
a little bit in the end, ran fourth in that race.
The Osprey ended up just barely missing. And then Life

(01:55):
Is Precious was written by Sammy Camacho, who ran third.
Life Is Precious was the favor in that race, with
Osprey ended up running third. Was a fine third. Just
when you're the favorite, you're a little disappointed. I'm sure
that you don't get it done. I think that Sammy Camacho,
I'm really happy he's not riding Osprey here because that's
gonna give us a better price. Since Sammy takes a

(02:15):
ton of money all the time, as he should. He's
winning it like a thirty percent clip. I would say
that Sammy's going to take some money on Life is precious.
And I think that Osprey should stay around that three
to one morning line. I really hope he does, because
I think that that is an automatic bet back a
horse that you can use really anywhere. You can pet
him across the board. He's going to be running late,
I think, and I think that you can really rest

(02:38):
assured that Osprey is going to take a nice step
forward and hopefully punch his ticket into the winner circle.
Another good horse here, Jtima is Tima? Am I saying
that right? I think that I'm saying that right. Ended
up running in a claiming race for twenty five thousand dollars,
lost to John Dutton and ran second back on November
twenty ninth. I thought it was a fine race. I'm

(02:59):
just not really excited about the number two and at
seven to two it's a little bit low for me
to get really excited about is maybe going against a
horse like Osprey, but that's my pick number four Osprey
in Ray six today. Again, I think the six year
old gelding gets it done for Batista and Aria Gatta
good luck,

Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
