Well, if I was going there, I probably wouldn't start
from there. Now, go straight down the road until you
think you've gone too far, then keep going a little

O'shes on the left, but that's been closed in nineteen
ninety eight, but you'll still see the sign up to
the top of the road. Turn right, you'll see a
lovely yellow house used to be owned by Mike O'Shea.

Slantchat. Paul Long, CEO of the Michigan Catholic Conference, was
in Ireland this summer and he is going to give
us directions right this moment to a place he stayed
this week called the Godfrey, and that's where we'll be
broadcasting from in mid December. Mister Longhow was it.

It was really nice, Michael Patrick. You know it's it's
right there in the heart of Corktown. Nemos is right
across Michigan Avenue from it, and it's a lovely place,
a great addition to the city. The Godfrey Detroit. It's
it's part of the Curio collection by Hilton. It's at
the corner of Michigan and Eighth Street there in Corktown.
I believe it was built on the property the block

that used to house decades ago, the Lions offices back
when they played at Tiger Stadium. So it's a it's
a great spot, it's convenient to everything. There's a lovely
there's a lovely lobby bar. There is a beautiful looking
ballroom right there on the first floor. The rooms are
nice and the ones along Eighth Avenue have a nice

view of the city as per the picture I sent
you yesterday. On the seventh floor, that's the top floor,
and that has the io bar, which stands for indoor
outdoor and it is basically a rooftop lounge. It has
ceiling to floor windows. It has partially glass ceiling or

and it has, particularly at nighttime, has spectacular views of
downtown Detroit. I think you're gonna have a great time.
