And today we have a special guest with us. When
I read the title of his book, I was like,
I need to have him on. I need to have
this conversation today. We're joined by Michael McAdams. He's the
co author of the book and Angel told me so.
And I asked him, do you want me to introduce
he as a spiritual mentor and he said no, I'm
simply the messenger. He is the seeker of spiritual truth.

And I'm so excited to have him on.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Welcome. Hi, Jenas, Welcome. Thank you very much for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I love the title. I already said that to you before.
Let's dive deep into it, like, how do you know
an angel told me so? Like, how do you know
that an angel told you so?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Well? The book itself is the first of three volumes.
There's going to be three books in the series, and
it's a collection of messages and teachings dictated directly from
spirit teachers from the other side, dictated word for word
through my mother, So I know the source, and she
received these messages and teachings for twenty two years. Spirit
(01:32):
teachers are angels, just viewed from a different perspective, one religious,
one spiritual. So when you read the book, and a
lot of these messages are signed with the name of
the spirit teacher that presented the message. So the title
an Angel Told Me So was a title that my
mother was given by a spirit teacher, that that should
(01:55):
be the title of the book. But for people with
a foundation of faith, they will interpret spirit teachers as angels.
My grandmother had received sermons dictated to her mind and
thought she was a Pentecostal preacher. I was brought up
with a foundation of faith. She would receive sermons dictated
to her mind in thought, as well as verses to
(02:18):
songs that she would put to music, and I remember
when I was young she would say that God had
spoken to her heart and given her this information. That's
the perspective that someone with a church based, Bible based
foundation is going to interpret anything that they receive. People
who are more spiritual nature, who read metaphysical material, they
(02:39):
read and learn about spirit guide spirit teachers. These spirit
teachers are with each of us, were all spoken to, guided, led, directed, comforted, warned,
I'd slow down at the head to fire you. Where
does that come from? And if people can learn to
tune in and accept that these spirit teachers are with us,
(03:02):
you benefit from that greatly.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Did your mom know the spirit guide that was speaking
to her?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like?
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Was it a familiar face or is there like an
identity associated to those spirit guides?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Only the signature of some of the names that were given.
She never saw any visions, no faces. The information was
always presented to her mind. She had received in thought
like most all of us are. And just as an example,
she was working around the kitchen one day and these
(03:40):
words started to come into her mind. She knew it
was incoming, so she picked up pen and paper. She
had beautiful handwriting, and she wrote this out in long hand.
And she felt that this was confirmation that she should
put these messages and teachings in a book. She had
been praying about it. May I share this with you
and your audience?
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yes? Please?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
So, Like I said, words coming into her mind just
working around the kitchen, and this is what she was given.
Emptiness is part of fulfillment. Let your resources fill the
void left so that distinction of your purpose can be found.
Expression is always self explanatory. Therefore, look inside and anchor
all your beliefs beside those still waters that will take
(04:25):
away your troubled view and renew your strength to recapture
that which was lost but is now found to be
adequate to pursue the course set before you. And as
you reconcile your being to represent those qualities that have
been left intact, God will see to it that all
those circumstances have been trying to say the least, your
(04:46):
weariness will disappear as clouds once removed, allow the sun
to shine, to dispel the gloom and darkness that has
pervaded your countenance, and is once described before, a token
of this presence will be deposited to your account and
books recorded in his name.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Wow, that'll get your attention.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Were you able to talk to her mom about how
she felt when she was receiving these messages and seeing them.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Well, she would do this usually by herself, although later
as the years went by, there were times when excuse me,
we would do it together where she would receive the
words which she saw dictated to her mind, just three
and four words at a time, that she would type
down with an electric typewriter and I would write the
(05:44):
words down. We had done this over the phone a
few times just to try it, just to see how
it was. And the messages were good, but I always
thought that they were so much deeper and more profound
when she did it alone by herself, and when she
would be let to sit down in a session, her
spirit teachers would move in and give a message for
(06:05):
her addressed to her, and then my spirit teachers would
move in and give a message addressed to me. And
it would take her three to four hours with a
little break between the two, to receive these messages and teachings.
And as the years went on, it's like they started
spreading the word on the other side, and higher teachers
(06:26):
started moving in giving even deeper and more profound teachings.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm curious the first time she received the message, how
did she respond to that? Because I know you mentioned
that your grandmother had also received messages, but you know
it was more faith based, right, What was the experience
Was the experience different for your mom?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Well, my mother said that she had received all of
her life, even when she was young. Usual, when you're
not doing anything, she said, she'd be standing at the
kitchen saying, doing dishes, not thinking about anything, and these
teachings and messages would come into her mind. She didn't
write any of it down at the time she was young,
(07:13):
but when it got done, she would look up and say, well,
that was really good, and it was just an amazing
body of material. So when she was led to sit
down in these dedicated sessions, she would receive these messages,
and many of the messages and teachings are signed with
the name of the spirit teachers presenting the message. Now,
(07:35):
my website is spirit speaks dot com, and posted on
the website there are tabs at the top bio for myself,
bio for my mother, and there's a tab for a
television interview that my mother gave in Cincinnati, posted on
her interview as a message from volume two of the book,
which is not out yet. This was the only time
(07:56):
in a session where she was led to sit down
and receive two two different spirit teachers moved in in
the same session, gave two different messages and signed two
different names, and it was obvious that the second teacher
was a different teacher than the first because the whole
cadence and phrasing of the message is different. The first
(08:17):
teacher's message is little more than a long paragraph, deep, profound,
But the next to the last line of the message
is the line that will make you sit up and
take notice. And he says, there are others here who
wish to make themselves known to you. So I will
step aside for this time. My question is who are
the others? And where is here? What do you mean
(08:40):
there are others here? Where are you in relation to
this relationship, to this spirit, to this physical plane that
we're on. So they really are celestial beings, if that's
a preferred term, from a spiritual realm with it, which
exists on the other side of this physical plane. And
(09:02):
I tell people, I said, there is no death. We
never really die. It's just graduation. We write around in
these bodies the way we ride around in our cars,
and when we cross over, we cross over into the
spiritual realm, and we're separated by a veil, a vibration,
a frequency. We really don't know what that separation is,
(09:25):
but there is two way communication between the spiritual realm,
our spirit teachers and our physical beings in this physical plane, Christians,
religious people will reach out and communicate with prayer in thought,
and then you should expect an answer. So this message
(09:47):
that was received by this teacher, he moved out of
the way, a second spiritual teacher moved in, gave a
page and a half single space typed But these messages
and teachings, they normally always end with an extremely profound
last line or a deep profound last paragraph. And this
second teacher's message, this last paragraph, I think it'll touch you.
(10:11):
May I share this with your audience. So this was
a page and a half message exceptional teachings. But this
was the last paragraph from this second teacher's message. And
he says, you are not a sheep heard it here
and there, but you are likened into the land that
has cared for individually, nourished and loved until the full
(10:33):
and total development allows it to be master of itself.
So is man so kept and denied only those things
that would not in the long run nourish his spirit.
God is all wise and loving in his dispensations. We
are not to judge the workings of our Father, nor
are we to judge each other, work always to improve
(10:54):
your own beings, for in the end time there lies
your soul with all the nourishment that you have given it,
totally dependent upon the outcome of your intentions. That message
was signed your loving spiritual teacher. The first message was
signed your loving guide. And throughout all of these years
(11:18):
and all of the messages that many of them were signed,
they were all signed with the name like your loving
spiritual teacher, your loving spiritual teachers, some singular, some plural,
And these messages and teachings, these spirit teachers repeatedly refer
to themselves in first person. We feel, we believe we
advise our view encompasses more than your view can comprehend.
(11:43):
One line in a message said, we hear the spirit
cries above the words you speak. Who talks like that?
I don't talk like that.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
We're not human beings having a spirit experience or spiritual
beings having a human experience. And I think your mom's,
you know, her life and her experiences really confirm that
you said something. And I want to kind of dive
into that you said, you know, it happened when there
(12:21):
was silence, whether she was in the kitchen, like washing dishes,
And I love that because you know, sometimes we think, oh,
if we want to connect to the spiritual realm, we
have to set up a ritual ceremony, sit down, do this.
You need I don't know, you need cacao, let's say,
or you need certain candles and certain crystals. And yet
(12:43):
she was receiving these messages even when she was washing dishes,
as long as there was that space, that's that silent
space to receive. Can we talk about that? Can we
talk about how we can connect to the spiritual realm
in simple practical ways.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Well, it's really pretty easy. All you have to do
is be receptive. No their joy, these spirit teacher's joy
is in ower recognizing their existence. And if you're just
open to any information, guidance, direction and support, that will
(13:22):
be made known to your mind. Usually you're riding in
the car, radio turned off, not thinking about anything, and
a thought comes into your mind and it says, I'd
slow down a bedad if I were you. You glance
in the rear view mirror, you don't see anything, but
you slow down a little bit, top a little rise
in the freeway, and there's sets a state highway patrol.
(13:43):
How did they know they knew because they're looking out
for you. And I believe that we're each assigned a
spiritual teacher or a spirit guide that stays with us
for life. Guardian Angel. Again, if you have a religious perspective,
I told you earlier that I have a foundation of faith.
(14:04):
And one of the best things about a foundation of
faith is that it's something you can build on. So
you don't really need to do yoga, meditation, light a
candle zone out, do anything that you would normally think
that you would need to do to contact spirit teachers.
They're there with us always, and it's really a matter
(14:27):
of tuning in now. Anytime that you open your mind
to be able to receive, you want to always establish
a filter of protection. There is negativity out there. It
doesn't have to exist for you, it doesn't exist for me.
You just don't allow any negative thoughts into your thought system.
Each of us has a thought system like a little
(14:49):
mini solar system, and we can control what we allow
and what we don't allow to come into our thought system.
But we can also think anything that we want. It's
a pesky little gift called free will. And if we
think a certain thing that we're not happy with we
can just discard that thought and send it out into
(15:09):
the universe. But the thoughts that we receive from spirit
teachers have a certain feel in our mind. It's a
subtle difference between a thought that we think and a
thought that comes into our mind. But once you can
recognize and differentiate between those two types of thoughts, then
it's easy to stay tuned in.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
You mentioned that, Okay, we have control of our thoughts,
so we can choose to kind of discard the negative ones.
But when you were talking about the filter of protection,
how does that apply to energy? What about like negative
energies that are perhaps coming our way? Could we filter
those well.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
I believe that if you have a positive attitude and
you are only acceptance of positive energy, positive messages and teachings,
it's not a Pollyannic attitude. It doesn't mean that you're
not going to have a flat tire, doesn't mean that
you're not going to, you know, have car trouble, doesn't
mean that things they're not going to be may not
go perfect for you, But you just know that you're
(16:16):
not alone. And I think that's the biggest message with
these teachings in the book An Angel told me. So,
these messages and teachings were given to my mother and
to me in these dedicated sessions, but it's like they're
woven with a universal thread. And everyone who has read
these messages have said, well, this sounds like what I'm
(16:36):
dealing with. This sounds like they're talking to me. And
I tell people, I say, when you get the book,
read each message once as it was given for my
mom and given for me. Then read that same message
again as if it's being presented for you, and see
what hits. It's amazing what hits.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
That interconnectedness really, and that interconnectedness and that exactly as
you said, like we're not alone. It's such a comforting
feeling to know that there's a beautiful Persian program of
if only you could see that. I don't want to
(17:17):
butcher it, but like how empowering your shadow is like
the comfort like there's always someone with you, there's always
that that energy, that guide and in a world that
we are really dealing with a loneliness epidemic right now.
I was just in Southeast Asia doing research on that,
(17:37):
and you know, there and the role that faith can
play and nature can play in helping us overcome that
and books like this really just I don't know. It's
like a warming feeling on your heart that you're not alone.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
When I was first looking for a publisher, I was
on a number of different publisher websites. One of the
websites asked questions about your work. One of the questions
was what makes your material unique? Why would anyone want
to read this great question? And I'm sitting where I'm
sitting right now my computer. I didn't really even ask
for an answer. I just relaxed my mind and an
(18:17):
answer started to be dictated to my mind. It was
twelve lines long, and I just typed it down. When
it got to the end, it stopped, and may I
share this answer with you and your audience. So the
question was what makes your material unique? And this is
the answer that I was given. The uniqueness of any
(18:37):
material is in the manner in which it touches the soul.
An open and searching mind pulls the soul and the
body in which it inhabits onward and upward with hunger
and determination in its quest for spiritual nourishment. Ever mindful
that the path upon which we walk is the path
toward God. Lives, lived experiences, endured, goals accomplished, and loved
(19:01):
ones lost are all encounters upon that path. Strive always
for the highest possible communication with our heavenly Father. Believe
in yourself as the Father within you is guiding, leading, directing,
and comforting you upon this journey that we call life.
Blessings be upon you as you walk your chosen pathway.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Wow, I mean, it's obvious that it's a message received.
It's so particular, so specific, So the wording, the tone.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
I didn't come up with that. I said thank you,
But you know, if I would come up with my
own answer, it would be a different answer. It might
sound pretty good, but nothing nearly like that. And that's
how close that these spirit teachers are in real time
and we're all connected with these your teachers.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
First sentence, I think second sentence you mentioned we all
receive them, and I think that's so super important to
also talk about of spirit guidestone discriminate, like everyone can
have access to it, everyone can be open to receiving it.
It's just your free will. Do you want to receive it?
Speaker 2 (20:33):
And we can? We can, you know, go through life.
I mean a lot of people go off on tangents
and we can go through life and doing what we want,
you know, based on either emotions or desires, you know, selfishness.
But we have that help and depending on where we
(20:54):
want to end up, not heaven or hell, but in
the spiritual realm, to move forward, to move on. There
is an outstanding movie. Have you ever heard of the
movie Defending your Life? No, you should take a look
at that, and I'll share that with your audience. It
(21:14):
has Albert Brooks and Meryl Street. It's an older movie.
It's called Defending your Life. I don't want to give
anything away. And another movie in that same vein as
a movie called Always that has Richard Dreyfus and Holly
Hunter in it. These are both older movies. But the
Defending your Life it's so old. I have it on
(21:36):
videotape in the original box that came with it, and
it's talking about the movie itself and it says the
true story about what really happens when you die. And
like I said, I tell people, I said, there is
no death. We never really die, it's just graduation. We
(21:57):
ride around in these bodies the way we write around
in our cars, just a vehicle to negotiate this physical
plane and look at the children born to Bill Gates
and Steven Spielberg. They'll want for nothing. Granted, they'll have
their challenges, but that kind of wealth and connection makes
all the difference in the world. And then you have
(22:18):
children born to alcohol like fathers, drug addicted mothers, abusive parents.
I mean, you could be born in China, North Korea, Iran,
anywhere on the planet. Is it just random? Is it
just luck of the draw? Did Bill Gates and Steven
Spielberg's children win the lottery and we didn't? Or are
(22:39):
we assigned to a certain set of parents in a
certain social station for whatever it is we're supposed to
learn in this lifetime. And if you're open to that,
then you're open to reincarnation.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah. Yeah, you know, when I was studying prutuality and
I've been studying it for over fifteen years, that was
one of the first lessons that I was taught is
you chose your parents based on what your soul needs
to go through to evolve, to transform. And I'm not
(23:15):
gonna lie. It was a hard concept to grasp at first,
and I know a lot of people struggle with it,
but for me, luckily, I was raised luckily, but I
chose to be raised in a family that is pretty spiritual,
So whenever I would complain to my parents, my parents
would be like, you chose us. Like, oh God, now
(23:37):
I can't even say anything to but yeah, So that
belief really a It gives you. It empowers you to
realize that.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
For me, that belief is empowering and it also gives
me a sense of accountability. So I'm curious, like, what
does that belief do for you? How does that shift
the way you see life, death and reincarnation.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Well, it's not like nothing matters. You can't say, well,
I'm going to get another chance. Nothing matters. But because
I was brought up with a foundation of faith Pentecostal church,
they're big on heaven and hell and most religions are,
and that they believe that you get this one shot
blink of an eye existence no matter how long you live,
(24:27):
and then for all eternity, you're going to go to
the good place or the bad place. And I knew
a lady one time that had a son that was
constantly getting into trouble constantly, and she was extremely religious,
carried her Bible around with her, and she knew the
various things that I was involved in, the books that
I had read, and she just knew she was going
(24:50):
to heaven when she died. And I asked her one time,
I said, is there anything that your son could do,
anything at all, that would cause you not to want
to give him another chance? And she just looked down
and said no. And I said, what makes you think
God loves us any less? Do you really believe that
we're going to be sentenced to all, to eternal damnation
(25:12):
and punishment forever and ever, with no chance for reprieve,
no chance for a do over because we were stupid
or because we had, you know, bad parents. And if
you look at all the different lives that you and
I would think that some people are living a life
of hell on this planet, in this life now if
(25:34):
you are open to reincarnation. Not that they deserve it,
but they may have earned it in a previous life,
and they are being subjected to these circumstances all based
on the choices and decisions that you make. You know
from birth you're given choices and decisions that guide the
path of your life. But if you choose selfishly, if
(25:57):
you choose unwisely, then you're going to suffer the consequences
and you may be born into you know, Russia again,
North Korea, Iran Gaza. You look at all the different
lives that we would believe would be hell on earth?
And is that the punishment until you get another chance?
(26:20):
I believe it is.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Was it? Did you receive backlash? Was it difficult to
express these beliefs coming from, you know, a religious background?
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Well, it wasn't until I got older that I mean,
I I always had questions even when I was young.
I said, My grandmother was a Pentecostal preacher. My uncle
was a fiery passionate Pentecostal pastor. And long before the
big mega churches that attract thousands, this church was fairly
good size, and they would have twelve to thirteen hundred
(26:58):
people in a Sunday service, standing room only. But he
was pretty passionate. And you know, I would sit and
they would talk about how we're all born sinners. And
I asked my mother one time. Lady in front of
us was holding a newborn baby, and I said, well,
that baby hasn't done anything. How is it that that
(27:18):
baby is a sinner? And you know, her response was,
will the Bible teaches that were all born in sin.
But you know, you just learn and you have to
pick your way. You choose your path, and you choose
the information that you want to be part of. So
but I'm thankful that I have that foundation of faith
(27:40):
because you're open to communication from God and angels. But
then once you once you get above all that, and
once you realize that spirit guides, spirit teachers are the
same thing as angels, and that these messages and teachings
in the book an Angel told Me So are applicable
(28:01):
to everyone who reads it, then you realize the potential
that we all have to communicate with our own spirit
teachers and move on once we cross over to the
other side.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
So when essence, spirit guides are here to help us
do what our soul is meant to do in this
incarnated version so that we can evolve and transform.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
I believe so. I believe that's correct, and we're just
to help us. I mean, we're not smart. A lot
of times we don't make the best choices, but we're
given opportunities and help, guidance direction at LEA said, if
you can just recognize that that help is available, you're
not required. Obedience is not required. But you find that
(28:49):
if you take their advice, your life is going to
go a lot easier. Doesn't mean you won't deal with
family issues and problems and you know that, and relationship
issues that sort of thing. But the advice, guidance, direction
and support is there and if you can in these
messages and teachings, they're just so deep and so personal
(29:12):
that you can't help but realize that we're not alone.
And I think that's the biggest thing, that we're not alone.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
It reminded me of the poem that I was talking
about now I remember, and I just want to say
it here. I don't want to Butcher, but you're like
I did a couple of minutes ago. But it's by
huff As and he says, I wish I could show you,
when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light
of your own being, And of course by light, he's
referring to the light of God, to the other, the
(29:44):
other realm and being being one you are. You are
one with the light of the Creator, and you are
rid of it.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
I recently read a post and it said I don't
want to just believe, I want to know, and I
think people are ready to know. We've had faith. I
mean for two thousand years, three thousand years, people have
had faith. But if we have the opportunity to know
with this information that's being presented. And some people, when
(30:17):
you talk about spirit teachers, they'll say, well, I don't
want to mess with spirits. I don't do anything with spirits.
And these are not spirits as far as spirits go.
You know, as somebody asked me one time about ghosts,
and you know we've all seen the movie Casper. You know,
ghosts are just spirits with unfinished business, and so these
(30:41):
are not spirits. You can't think of spirit teachers as spirits,
but they are angels just viewed from a spiritual perspective.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah, I'm glad you clarified that, because that is something
that comes up with people are like, oh, I don't
want to mess with that realm, like I don't want
to open the door Condora's box, and again like these
movies that we have, the scary movies. So I'm glad
we brought that up, Ken, because you mentioned like the
(31:14):
spirit guides, they're with us forever. But you also mentioned
that your mom had multiple spared guides, So do we
have some that are just temporary and some that stay
with us forever.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
I think depending on your level of spiritual development will
determine the number of teachers that work with you. There
is a book called the Uransia Book. Have you ever
heard of it? That's really interesting, sponsored by a foundation
of out of Chicago. Uransia is their name for the Earth,
(31:48):
so it's really the Earth Book. It's been translated into
sixteen languages, over four million copies in print, received through
an individual in nineteen thirty five. First published in nineteen
fifty five, and one of the papers, it's a series
of papers that are numbered entitled and I have a
link to the Urantia Book on my website on the
(32:09):
Great Links page. And the Urania Book talks about how
at the age of our first moral decision, when we
make a decision that shows that we know right from wrong,
normally about the age of four four and a half
years old, that we are then assigned a personalized thought adjuster,
(32:30):
spirit teacher, guardian angel, and that that adjuster will stay
with us for life, offering this advice, guidance, support. But
whether or not that teacher will stay with us when
we cross over, we may have a whole new set
of spirit teachers. I believe that some people may have
(32:51):
the one, some people have dozens. There could be Jesus
had masses of spirit teachers and angels working with him.
So it really just depends on your level of spiritual maturity,
if you want to phrase it that way, and what
you're open to. Now, these messages and teachings again were
(33:13):
many times, like I said, given in first person, but
they're given in plural we hour and us, but many
times signed with a singular name. And in a number
of these messages, these spirit teachers reference that there are
higher teachers giving information to them that they in turn
share with us. And on rare occasions, an eye a
(33:37):
spirit teacher refering to himself as I, therefore I will
ensure that this will happen, or therefore I will become
as one with your being. And when this I makes
themself known, it makes you sit up and take notice, like,
wait a minute, who is the I who is presenting
this information? And there was a time there was a
message in the I think volume two of the book
(34:00):
where my mother was receiving She had received about a
page and a half full page, full page, single space
typed and she stopped right in the middle of the
message and she said, who is the eye and the
weed that's presenting this information? And they congratulated her for
asking and then gave her an answer. And it was
(34:22):
two paragraphs half a page long, pretty deep, too long
for me to get into right in this in this
interview today, but it was an amazing answer. So they
were willing, you know, they congratulated her for answer, for
asking the question and were willing to give an answer
(34:42):
that I thought was deep and profound. And that'll be
in volume two of the book.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
So curiosity is also a great trait to have when
communicating with the spiritual realm.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Right, Oh, I agree. And they'll take a quiz. You know,
the Bible says test the spirit, and these spirit teachers
have no problem taking it. Quiz, ask for information and
the little things, the little things. There are people that
believe they have a parking spot angel. And when you
say you're going to a mall, a big local mall
(35:18):
around Christmas time, you're dreading it. You know it's going
to be packed. You don't want to go, but you
have to, and you pull into the mall and you're writing,
you're on the road running parallel to the mall, and
you think, I'll turn down this isle and see if
there's a spot, and a thought comes into your mind
and it says, go up two more aisles and make
a left. You're obedient. What have you got to lose.
(35:40):
You're just looking for a parking place, and so you
make a left. Two more aisles up and you're driving
toward the mall. No spots, no spots, no spots, no spots.
You get almost to the end of the aisle, three
cars back, A car backs out, and there's your spot.
How did they know made it? They knew, and they
(36:03):
were willing to help you out, to help you find
the spot. And that builds confidence. All those little things
that happened build confidence. I was down in Florida doing
a book signing and a presentation at Cassadega. I had
talked to you about Cassadega earlier. It's the largest spiritual
psychic community in Florida. And where I was staying, I
(36:25):
got talking to a lady. I always share this information
that I'm involved in, and she said that happened to me,
And I said, what do you mean. She said, well,
I was going somewhere I ninety five is the main
interstate down that area. And she said that I had
an appointment I had to go somewhere, And she said,
(36:45):
I just thought i'd jump on the interstate and take
that route. And she said she was in the car driving,
and she said a voice from the back seat spoke
and said, don't take I ninety And she said it
was so real. She looked around. There wasn't anybody there.
(37:05):
But as she approached the freeway, she saw that traffic
was moving just fine, no problems. So she got in
the right hand lane, stopped at the light just before
the entrance ramp, and was sitting there waiting for the
light to change. And this girl drove into the back
of her car and rear ended her car really hard.
It was a girl on her cellphone. And if she had,
(37:26):
if she had listened and accepted their recommendation, she wouldn't
have been in that lane, she wouldn't have been getting
on the interstate, and she wouldn't have gotten hit. And
she was hurt. It took her a while to recover.
And those things, you know, Like I said, we're not required,
no obedience is required, but if we're offered the guidance
(37:47):
and you, I said, feel free to test it, try
it your way, and then try it their way, see
which way works out the best.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
I'm so happy you mentioned this because because you're like
parking spot angel for the past fifteen years. It started
as a joke, but I kept telling everyone I have
a travel angel. Wherever I go, I'm safe when I travel.
And it started because I was doing this your trip
(38:15):
with my family, and every like city or country we
would leave, something bad would happen there, like the I
remember that was like during the time of ices, like
ices went into Frankfurt, there was like a train accident
right after we got off the train. There was like weather,
(38:36):
natural disasters, and so that started as a joke. I
was like, oh, wherever I go, like right after I leave,
like I'm protected. And I love how you mentioned like
it builds confidence because over the years this is like,
this is something I've accepted. I always like, I used
to be a type a planner. I would plan like
(38:56):
four oh seven, like you will wake up like to
that extent, and I I'm releasing myself. I'm like, no,
like you have protection, just listen to the insights that
are coming. So I don't plan. So I can be
flexible and be like I'm changing my plan. I'm going
here instead. And I was just in Southeast Asia and
again no planning, and I would keep making changes. I'd
(39:18):
be like, no, we're going to change the plan. We're
not going to go here. I have a feeling, I'm
having this insight that we should go somewhere else. And
when we would leave, my husband would be like, oh
my god, there was just the flood, like it just
happened when we left. And it really is that it
builds confidence of knowing first you're protected and listening to
it and not going like, oh, it's like mumbo jumbo. No.
(39:39):
If you're hearing that instant, that voice, and some people
like your mom would see it. Some people hear it,
some people sense it, some people smell it, trust it,
trust it, and it'd be like you you accepted more
and more as time goes on.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
You are really connected.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
You are connected, my traveling angel love me.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Well, it's you. And there's like I said, there again,
spirit teachers, angels, it's it's just on the website. U.
There is a a message from a volume two uh
and there are different items that you can see. So
(40:25):
take a look at that and see what you think.
I think you'll be impressed.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I well, I will. I'm so excited. You know, we're
coming towards the end of our interview and I I've
just been loving this conversation because these are conversations that
I'm sure as someone to have, but they're like, I
don't want to sound like cuckoo or crazy or like
what is this person talking about? It's not something that
(40:51):
we've per se normalized in our society, but we're seeing
more and more of as there is this awakening, in
this conscious awakening. So I'm so glad we got to
have it. And I hope the audience. I'm sure the
audience like, oh, finally someone's talking about it and you know,
kind of paving that path to normalizing this connection with
(41:14):
our spirit guides. Last question, and we've talked about this
briefly throughout the book, but is there any particular teachings
from the book that listeners can implement in their daily
lives to enhance their spiritual awareness.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
There are just so many passages and lines. I received
a message to me and one of the lines said,
blessed is he who remains always an understanding of his
calling and you know, if you can understand that you
have a calling and know that you're here for a reason. Now,
(41:57):
I don't think we're assigned to these lives and assigned
to a certain set of parents without any intention of
what we're supposed to learn in this lifetime. So I said,
there's just too many. Nothing comes to my mind right
now because it's such a tremendous body of material. But
(42:22):
I know that everybody who's probably nodding along with you
when you were explaining about how you were protected and
these things happen, they're going, yeah, that's happened to me.
That's happened to me. And I'll bet that a lot
of people are going to enjoy this interview because they're saying, hey,
I'm not the only one. I'm not the only one.
(42:42):
So I hope that people will decide to get the
book and allow these messages and teachings to apply to them.

I read the title of his book, I was like,
I need to have him on. I need to have
this conversation today. We're joined by Michael McAdams. He's the
co author of the book and Angel told me so.
And I asked him, do you want me to introduce
he as a spiritual mentor and he said no, I'm
simply the messenger. He is the seeker of spiritual truth.
(00:48):
And I'm so excited to have him on.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Welcome. Hi, Jenas, Welcome. Thank you very much for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I love the title. I already said that to you before.
Let's dive deep into it, like, how do you know
an angel told me so? Like, how do you know
that an angel told you so?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Well? The book itself is the first of three volumes.
There's going to be three books in the series, and
it's a collection of messages and teachings dictated directly from
spirit teachers from the other side, dictated word for word
through my mother, So I know the source, and she
received these messages and teachings for twenty two years. Spirit
(01:32):
teachers are angels, just viewed from a different perspective, one religious,
one spiritual. So when you read the book, and a
lot of these messages are signed with the name of
the spirit teacher that presented the message. So the title
an Angel Told Me So was a title that my
mother was given by a spirit teacher, that that should
(01:55):
be the title of the book. But for people with
a foundation of faith, they will interpret spirit teachers as angels.
My grandmother had received sermons dictated to her mind and
thought she was a Pentecostal preacher. I was brought up
with a foundation of faith. She would receive sermons dictated
to her mind in thought, as well as verses to
(02:18):
songs that she would put to music, and I remember
when I was young she would say that God had
spoken to her heart and given her this information. That's
the perspective that someone with a church based, Bible based
foundation is going to interpret anything that they receive. People
who are more spiritual nature, who read metaphysical material, they
(02:39):
read and learn about spirit guide spirit teachers. These spirit
teachers are with each of us, were all spoken to, guided, led, directed, comforted, warned,
I'd slow down at the head to fire you. Where
does that come from? And if people can learn to
tune in and accept that these spirit teachers are with us,
(03:02):
you benefit from that greatly.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Did your mom know the spirit guide that was speaking
to her?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like?
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Was it a familiar face or is there like an
identity associated to those spirit guides?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Only the signature of some of the names that were given.
She never saw any visions, no faces. The information was
always presented to her mind. She had received in thought
like most all of us are. And just as an example,
she was working around the kitchen one day and these
(03:40):
words started to come into her mind. She knew it
was incoming, so she picked up pen and paper. She
had beautiful handwriting, and she wrote this out in long hand.
And she felt that this was confirmation that she should
put these messages and teachings in a book. She had
been praying about it. May I share this with you
and your audience?
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yes? Please?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
So, Like I said, words coming into her mind just
working around the kitchen, and this is what she was given.
Emptiness is part of fulfillment. Let your resources fill the
void left so that distinction of your purpose can be found.
Expression is always self explanatory. Therefore, look inside and anchor
all your beliefs beside those still waters that will take
(04:25):
away your troubled view and renew your strength to recapture
that which was lost but is now found to be
adequate to pursue the course set before you. And as
you reconcile your being to represent those qualities that have
been left intact, God will see to it that all
those circumstances have been trying to say the least, your
(04:46):
weariness will disappear as clouds once removed, allow the sun
to shine, to dispel the gloom and darkness that has
pervaded your countenance, and is once described before, a token
of this presence will be deposited to your account and
books recorded in his name.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Wow, that'll get your attention.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Were you able to talk to her mom about how
she felt when she was receiving these messages and seeing them.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Well, she would do this usually by herself, although later
as the years went by, there were times when excuse me,
we would do it together where she would receive the
words which she saw dictated to her mind, just three
and four words at a time, that she would type
down with an electric typewriter and I would write the
(05:44):
words down. We had done this over the phone a
few times just to try it, just to see how
it was. And the messages were good, but I always
thought that they were so much deeper and more profound
when she did it alone by herself, and when she
would be let to sit down in a session, her
spirit teachers would move in and give a message for
(06:05):
her addressed to her, and then my spirit teachers would
move in and give a message addressed to me. And
it would take her three to four hours with a
little break between the two, to receive these messages and teachings.
And as the years went on, it's like they started
spreading the word on the other side, and higher teachers
(06:26):
started moving in giving even deeper and more profound teachings.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm curious the first time she received the message, how
did she respond to that? Because I know you mentioned
that your grandmother had also received messages, but you know
it was more faith based, right, What was the experience
Was the experience different for your mom?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Well, my mother said that she had received all of
her life, even when she was young. Usual, when you're
not doing anything, she said, she'd be standing at the
kitchen saying, doing dishes, not thinking about anything, and these
teachings and messages would come into her mind. She didn't
write any of it down at the time she was young,
(07:13):
but when it got done, she would look up and say, well,
that was really good, and it was just an amazing
body of material. So when she was led to sit
down in these dedicated sessions, she would receive these messages,
and many of the messages and teachings are signed with
the name of the spirit teachers presenting the message. Now,
(07:35):
my website is spirit speaks dot com, and posted on
the website there are tabs at the top bio for myself,
bio for my mother, and there's a tab for a
television interview that my mother gave in Cincinnati, posted on
her interview as a message from volume two of the book,
which is not out yet. This was the only time
(07:56):
in a session where she was led to sit down
and receive two two different spirit teachers moved in in
the same session, gave two different messages and signed two
different names, and it was obvious that the second teacher
was a different teacher than the first because the whole
cadence and phrasing of the message is different. The first
(08:17):
teacher's message is little more than a long paragraph, deep, profound,
But the next to the last line of the message
is the line that will make you sit up and
take notice. And he says, there are others here who
wish to make themselves known to you. So I will
step aside for this time. My question is who are
the others? And where is here? What do you mean
(08:40):
there are others here? Where are you in relation to
this relationship, to this spirit, to this physical plane that
we're on. So they really are celestial beings, if that's
a preferred term, from a spiritual realm with it, which
exists on the other side of this physical plane. And
(09:02):
I tell people, I said, there is no death. We
never really die. It's just graduation. We write around in
these bodies the way we ride around in our cars,
and when we cross over, we cross over into the
spiritual realm, and we're separated by a veil, a vibration,
a frequency. We really don't know what that separation is,
(09:25):
but there is two way communication between the spiritual realm,
our spirit teachers and our physical beings in this physical plane, Christians,
religious people will reach out and communicate with prayer in thought,
and then you should expect an answer. So this message
(09:47):
that was received by this teacher, he moved out of
the way, a second spiritual teacher moved in, gave a
page and a half single space typed But these messages
and teachings, they normally always end with an extremely profound
last line or a deep profound last paragraph. And this
second teacher's message, this last paragraph, I think it'll touch you.
(10:11):
May I share this with your audience. So this was
a page and a half message exceptional teachings. But this
was the last paragraph from this second teacher's message. And
he says, you are not a sheep heard it here
and there, but you are likened into the land that
has cared for individually, nourished and loved until the full
(10:33):
and total development allows it to be master of itself.
So is man so kept and denied only those things
that would not in the long run nourish his spirit.
God is all wise and loving in his dispensations. We
are not to judge the workings of our Father, nor
are we to judge each other, work always to improve
(10:54):
your own beings, for in the end time there lies
your soul with all the nourishment that you have given it,
totally dependent upon the outcome of your intentions. That message
was signed your loving spiritual teacher. The first message was
signed your loving guide. And throughout all of these years
(11:18):
and all of the messages that many of them were signed,
they were all signed with the name like your loving
spiritual teacher, your loving spiritual teachers, some singular, some plural,
And these messages and teachings, these spirit teachers repeatedly refer
to themselves in first person. We feel, we believe we
advise our view encompasses more than your view can comprehend.
(11:43):
One line in a message said, we hear the spirit
cries above the words you speak. Who talks like that?
I don't talk like that.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
We're not human beings having a spirit experience or spiritual
beings having a human experience. And I think your mom's,
you know, her life and her experiences really confirm that
you said something. And I want to kind of dive
into that you said, you know, it happened when there
(12:21):
was silence, whether she was in the kitchen, like washing dishes,
And I love that because you know, sometimes we think, oh,
if we want to connect to the spiritual realm, we
have to set up a ritual ceremony, sit down, do this.
You need I don't know, you need cacao, let's say,
or you need certain candles and certain crystals. And yet
(12:43):
she was receiving these messages even when she was washing dishes,
as long as there was that space, that's that silent
space to receive. Can we talk about that? Can we
talk about how we can connect to the spiritual realm
in simple practical ways.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Well, it's really pretty easy. All you have to do
is be receptive. No their joy, these spirit teacher's joy
is in ower recognizing their existence. And if you're just
open to any information, guidance, direction and support, that will
(13:22):
be made known to your mind. Usually you're riding in
the car, radio turned off, not thinking about anything, and
a thought comes into your mind and it says, I'd
slow down a bedad if I were you. You glance
in the rear view mirror, you don't see anything, but
you slow down a little bit, top a little rise
in the freeway, and there's sets a state highway patrol.
(13:43):
How did they know they knew because they're looking out
for you. And I believe that we're each assigned a
spiritual teacher or a spirit guide that stays with us
for life. Guardian Angel. Again, if you have a religious perspective,
I told you earlier that I have a foundation of faith.
(14:04):
And one of the best things about a foundation of
faith is that it's something you can build on. So
you don't really need to do yoga, meditation, light a
candle zone out, do anything that you would normally think
that you would need to do to contact spirit teachers.
They're there with us always, and it's really a matter
(14:27):
of tuning in now. Anytime that you open your mind
to be able to receive, you want to always establish
a filter of protection. There is negativity out there. It
doesn't have to exist for you, it doesn't exist for me.
You just don't allow any negative thoughts into your thought system.
Each of us has a thought system like a little
(14:49):
mini solar system, and we can control what we allow
and what we don't allow to come into our thought system.
But we can also think anything that we want. It's
a pesky little gift called free will. And if we
think a certain thing that we're not happy with we
can just discard that thought and send it out into
(15:09):
the universe. But the thoughts that we receive from spirit
teachers have a certain feel in our mind. It's a
subtle difference between a thought that we think and a
thought that comes into our mind. But once you can
recognize and differentiate between those two types of thoughts, then
it's easy to stay tuned in.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
You mentioned that, Okay, we have control of our thoughts,
so we can choose to kind of discard the negative ones.
But when you were talking about the filter of protection,
how does that apply to energy? What about like negative
energies that are perhaps coming our way? Could we filter
those well.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
I believe that if you have a positive attitude and
you are only acceptance of positive energy, positive messages and teachings,
it's not a Pollyannic attitude. It doesn't mean that you're
not going to have a flat tire, doesn't mean that
you're not going to, you know, have car trouble, doesn't
mean that things they're not going to be may not
go perfect for you, But you just know that you're
(16:16):
not alone. And I think that's the biggest message with
these teachings in the book An Angel told me. So,
these messages and teachings were given to my mother and
to me in these dedicated sessions, but it's like they're
woven with a universal thread. And everyone who has read
these messages have said, well, this sounds like what I'm
(16:36):
dealing with. This sounds like they're talking to me. And
I tell people, I say, when you get the book,
read each message once as it was given for my
mom and given for me. Then read that same message
again as if it's being presented for you, and see
what hits. It's amazing what hits.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
That interconnectedness really, and that interconnectedness and that exactly as
you said, like we're not alone. It's such a comforting
feeling to know that there's a beautiful Persian program of
if only you could see that. I don't want to
(17:17):
butcher it, but like how empowering your shadow is like
the comfort like there's always someone with you, there's always
that that energy, that guide and in a world that
we are really dealing with a loneliness epidemic right now.
I was just in Southeast Asia doing research on that,
(17:37):
and you know, there and the role that faith can
play and nature can play in helping us overcome that
and books like this really just I don't know. It's
like a warming feeling on your heart that you're not alone.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
When I was first looking for a publisher, I was
on a number of different publisher websites. One of the
websites asked questions about your work. One of the questions
was what makes your material unique? Why would anyone want
to read this great question? And I'm sitting where I'm
sitting right now my computer. I didn't really even ask
for an answer. I just relaxed my mind and an
(18:17):
answer started to be dictated to my mind. It was
twelve lines long, and I just typed it down. When
it got to the end, it stopped, and may I
share this answer with you and your audience. So the
question was what makes your material unique? And this is
the answer that I was given. The uniqueness of any
(18:37):
material is in the manner in which it touches the soul.
An open and searching mind pulls the soul and the
body in which it inhabits onward and upward with hunger
and determination in its quest for spiritual nourishment. Ever mindful
that the path upon which we walk is the path
toward God. Lives, lived experiences, endured, goals accomplished, and loved
(19:01):
ones lost are all encounters upon that path. Strive always
for the highest possible communication with our heavenly Father. Believe
in yourself as the Father within you is guiding, leading, directing,
and comforting you upon this journey that we call life.
Blessings be upon you as you walk your chosen pathway.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Wow, I mean, it's obvious that it's a message received.
It's so particular, so specific, So the wording, the tone.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
I didn't come up with that. I said thank you,
But you know, if I would come up with my
own answer, it would be a different answer. It might
sound pretty good, but nothing nearly like that. And that's
how close that these spirit teachers are in real time
and we're all connected with these your teachers.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
First sentence, I think second sentence you mentioned we all
receive them, and I think that's so super important to
also talk about of spirit guidestone discriminate, like everyone can
have access to it, everyone can be open to receiving it.
It's just your free will. Do you want to receive it?
Speaker 2 (20:33):
And we can? We can, you know, go through life.
I mean a lot of people go off on tangents
and we can go through life and doing what we want,
you know, based on either emotions or desires, you know, selfishness.
But we have that help and depending on where we
(20:54):
want to end up, not heaven or hell, but in
the spiritual realm, to move forward, to move on. There
is an outstanding movie. Have you ever heard of the
movie Defending your Life? No, you should take a look
at that, and I'll share that with your audience. It
(21:14):
has Albert Brooks and Meryl Street. It's an older movie.
It's called Defending your Life. I don't want to give
anything away. And another movie in that same vein as
a movie called Always that has Richard Dreyfus and Holly
Hunter in it. These are both older movies. But the
Defending your Life it's so old. I have it on
(21:36):
videotape in the original box that came with it, and
it's talking about the movie itself and it says the
true story about what really happens when you die. And
like I said, I tell people, I said, there is
no death. We never really die, it's just graduation. We
(21:57):
ride around in these bodies the way we write around
in our cars, just a vehicle to negotiate this physical
plane and look at the children born to Bill Gates
and Steven Spielberg. They'll want for nothing. Granted, they'll have
their challenges, but that kind of wealth and connection makes
all the difference in the world. And then you have
(22:18):
children born to alcohol like fathers, drug addicted mothers, abusive parents.
I mean, you could be born in China, North Korea, Iran,
anywhere on the planet. Is it just random? Is it
just luck of the draw? Did Bill Gates and Steven
Spielberg's children win the lottery and we didn't? Or are
(22:39):
we assigned to a certain set of parents in a
certain social station for whatever it is we're supposed to
learn in this lifetime. And if you're open to that,
then you're open to reincarnation.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah. Yeah, you know, when I was studying prutuality and
I've been studying it for over fifteen years, that was
one of the first lessons that I was taught is
you chose your parents based on what your soul needs
to go through to evolve, to transform. And I'm not
(23:15):
gonna lie. It was a hard concept to grasp at first,
and I know a lot of people struggle with it,
but for me, luckily, I was raised luckily, but I
chose to be raised in a family that is pretty spiritual,
So whenever I would complain to my parents, my parents
would be like, you chose us. Like, oh God, now
(23:37):
I can't even say anything to but yeah, So that
belief really a It gives you. It empowers you to
realize that.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
For me, that belief is empowering and it also gives
me a sense of accountability. So I'm curious, like, what
does that belief do for you? How does that shift
the way you see life, death and reincarnation.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Well, it's not like nothing matters. You can't say, well,
I'm going to get another chance. Nothing matters. But because
I was brought up with a foundation of faith Pentecostal church,
they're big on heaven and hell and most religions are,
and that they believe that you get this one shot
blink of an eye existence no matter how long you live,
(24:27):
and then for all eternity, you're going to go to
the good place or the bad place. And I knew
a lady one time that had a son that was
constantly getting into trouble constantly, and she was extremely religious,
carried her Bible around with her, and she knew the
various things that I was involved in, the books that
I had read, and she just knew she was going
(24:50):
to heaven when she died. And I asked her one time,
I said, is there anything that your son could do,
anything at all, that would cause you not to want
to give him another chance? And she just looked down
and said no. And I said, what makes you think
God loves us any less? Do you really believe that
we're going to be sentenced to all, to eternal damnation
(25:12):
and punishment forever and ever, with no chance for reprieve,
no chance for a do over because we were stupid
or because we had, you know, bad parents. And if
you look at all the different lives that you and
I would think that some people are living a life
of hell on this planet, in this life now if
(25:34):
you are open to reincarnation. Not that they deserve it,
but they may have earned it in a previous life,
and they are being subjected to these circumstances all based
on the choices and decisions that you make. You know
from birth you're given choices and decisions that guide the
path of your life. But if you choose selfishly, if
(25:57):
you choose unwisely, then you're going to suffer the consequences
and you may be born into you know, Russia again,
North Korea, Iran Gaza. You look at all the different
lives that we would believe would be hell on earth?
And is that the punishment until you get another chance?
(26:20):
I believe it is.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Was it? Did you receive backlash? Was it difficult to
express these beliefs coming from, you know, a religious background?
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Well, it wasn't until I got older that I mean,
I I always had questions even when I was young.
I said, My grandmother was a Pentecostal preacher. My uncle
was a fiery passionate Pentecostal pastor. And long before the
big mega churches that attract thousands, this church was fairly
good size, and they would have twelve to thirteen hundred
(26:58):
people in a Sunday service, standing room only. But he
was pretty passionate. And you know, I would sit and
they would talk about how we're all born sinners. And
I asked my mother one time. Lady in front of
us was holding a newborn baby, and I said, well,
that baby hasn't done anything. How is it that that
(27:18):
baby is a sinner? And you know, her response was,
will the Bible teaches that were all born in sin.
But you know, you just learn and you have to
pick your way. You choose your path, and you choose
the information that you want to be part of. So
but I'm thankful that I have that foundation of faith
(27:40):
because you're open to communication from God and angels. But
then once you once you get above all that, and
once you realize that spirit guides, spirit teachers are the
same thing as angels, and that these messages and teachings
in the book an Angel told Me So are applicable
(28:01):
to everyone who reads it, then you realize the potential
that we all have to communicate with our own spirit
teachers and move on once we cross over to the
other side.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
So when essence, spirit guides are here to help us
do what our soul is meant to do in this
incarnated version so that we can evolve and transform.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
I believe so. I believe that's correct, and we're just
to help us. I mean, we're not smart. A lot
of times we don't make the best choices, but we're
given opportunities and help, guidance direction at LEA said, if
you can just recognize that that help is available, you're
not required. Obedience is not required. But you find that
(28:49):
if you take their advice, your life is going to
go a lot easier. Doesn't mean you won't deal with
family issues and problems and you know that, and relationship
issues that sort of thing. But the advice, guidance, direction
and support is there and if you can in these
messages and teachings, they're just so deep and so personal
(29:12):
that you can't help but realize that we're not alone.
And I think that's the biggest thing, that we're not alone.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
It reminded me of the poem that I was talking
about now I remember, and I just want to say
it here. I don't want to Butcher, but you're like
I did a couple of minutes ago. But it's by
huff As and he says, I wish I could show you,
when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light
of your own being, And of course by light, he's
referring to the light of God, to the other, the
(29:44):
other realm and being being one you are. You are
one with the light of the Creator, and you are
rid of it.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
I recently read a post and it said I don't
want to just believe, I want to know, and I
think people are ready to know. We've had faith. I
mean for two thousand years, three thousand years, people have
had faith. But if we have the opportunity to know
with this information that's being presented. And some people, when
(30:17):
you talk about spirit teachers, they'll say, well, I don't
want to mess with spirits. I don't do anything with spirits.
And these are not spirits as far as spirits go.
You know, as somebody asked me one time about ghosts,
and you know we've all seen the movie Casper. You know,
ghosts are just spirits with unfinished business, and so these
(30:41):
are not spirits. You can't think of spirit teachers as spirits,
but they are angels just viewed from a spiritual perspective.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah, I'm glad you clarified that, because that is something
that comes up with people are like, oh, I don't
want to mess with that realm, like I don't want
to open the door Condora's box, and again like these
movies that we have, the scary movies. So I'm glad
we brought that up, Ken, because you mentioned like the
(31:14):
spirit guides, they're with us forever. But you also mentioned
that your mom had multiple spared guides, So do we
have some that are just temporary and some that stay
with us forever.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
I think depending on your level of spiritual development will
determine the number of teachers that work with you. There
is a book called the Uransia Book. Have you ever
heard of it? That's really interesting, sponsored by a foundation
of out of Chicago. Uransia is their name for the Earth,
(31:48):
so it's really the Earth Book. It's been translated into
sixteen languages, over four million copies in print, received through
an individual in nineteen thirty five. First published in nineteen
fifty five, and one of the papers, it's a series
of papers that are numbered entitled and I have a
link to the Urantia Book on my website on the
(32:09):
Great Links page. And the Urania Book talks about how
at the age of our first moral decision, when we
make a decision that shows that we know right from wrong,
normally about the age of four four and a half
years old, that we are then assigned a personalized thought adjuster,
(32:30):
spirit teacher, guardian angel, and that that adjuster will stay
with us for life, offering this advice, guidance, support. But
whether or not that teacher will stay with us when
we cross over, we may have a whole new set
of spirit teachers. I believe that some people may have
(32:51):
the one, some people have dozens. There could be Jesus
had masses of spirit teachers and angels working with him.
So it really just depends on your level of spiritual maturity,
if you want to phrase it that way, and what
you're open to. Now, these messages and teachings again were
(33:13):
many times, like I said, given in first person, but
they're given in plural we hour and us, but many
times signed with a singular name. And in a number
of these messages, these spirit teachers reference that there are
higher teachers giving information to them that they in turn
share with us. And on rare occasions, an eye a
(33:37):
spirit teacher refering to himself as I, therefore I will
ensure that this will happen, or therefore I will become
as one with your being. And when this I makes
themself known, it makes you sit up and take notice, like,
wait a minute, who is the I who is presenting
this information? And there was a time there was a
message in the I think volume two of the book
(34:00):
where my mother was receiving She had received about a
page and a half full page, full page, single space
typed and she stopped right in the middle of the
message and she said, who is the eye and the
weed that's presenting this information? And they congratulated her for
asking and then gave her an answer. And it was
(34:22):
two paragraphs half a page long, pretty deep, too long
for me to get into right in this in this
interview today, but it was an amazing answer. So they
were willing, you know, they congratulated her for answer, for
asking the question and were willing to give an answer
(34:42):
that I thought was deep and profound. And that'll be
in volume two of the book.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
So curiosity is also a great trait to have when
communicating with the spiritual realm.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Right, Oh, I agree. And they'll take a quiz. You know,
the Bible says test the spirit, and these spirit teachers
have no problem taking it. Quiz, ask for information and
the little things, the little things. There are people that
believe they have a parking spot angel. And when you
say you're going to a mall, a big local mall
(35:18):
around Christmas time, you're dreading it. You know it's going
to be packed. You don't want to go, but you
have to, and you pull into the mall and you're writing,
you're on the road running parallel to the mall, and
you think, I'll turn down this isle and see if
there's a spot, and a thought comes into your mind
and it says, go up two more aisles and make
a left. You're obedient. What have you got to lose.
(35:40):
You're just looking for a parking place, and so you
make a left. Two more aisles up and you're driving
toward the mall. No spots, no spots, no spots, no spots.
You get almost to the end of the aisle, three
cars back, A car backs out, and there's your spot.
How did they know made it? They knew, and they
(36:03):
were willing to help you out, to help you find
the spot. And that builds confidence. All those little things
that happened build confidence. I was down in Florida doing
a book signing and a presentation at Cassadega. I had
talked to you about Cassadega earlier. It's the largest spiritual
psychic community in Florida. And where I was staying, I
(36:25):
got talking to a lady. I always share this information
that I'm involved in, and she said that happened to me,
And I said, what do you mean. She said, well,
I was going somewhere I ninety five is the main
interstate down that area. And she said that I had
an appointment I had to go somewhere, And she said,
(36:45):
I just thought i'd jump on the interstate and take
that route. And she said she was in the car driving,
and she said a voice from the back seat spoke
and said, don't take I ninety And she said it
was so real. She looked around. There wasn't anybody there.
(37:05):
But as she approached the freeway, she saw that traffic
was moving just fine, no problems. So she got in
the right hand lane, stopped at the light just before
the entrance ramp, and was sitting there waiting for the
light to change. And this girl drove into the back
of her car and rear ended her car really hard.
It was a girl on her cellphone. And if she had,
(37:26):
if she had listened and accepted their recommendation, she wouldn't
have been in that lane, she wouldn't have been getting
on the interstate, and she wouldn't have gotten hit. And
she was hurt. It took her a while to recover.
And those things, you know, Like I said, we're not required,
no obedience is required, but if we're offered the guidance
(37:47):
and you, I said, feel free to test it, try
it your way, and then try it their way, see
which way works out the best.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
I'm so happy you mentioned this because because you're like
parking spot angel for the past fifteen years. It started
as a joke, but I kept telling everyone I have
a travel angel. Wherever I go, I'm safe when I travel.
And it started because I was doing this your trip
(38:15):
with my family, and every like city or country we
would leave, something bad would happen there, like the I
remember that was like during the time of ices, like
ices went into Frankfurt, there was like a train accident
right after we got off the train. There was like weather,
(38:36):
natural disasters, and so that started as a joke. I
was like, oh, wherever I go, like right after I leave,
like I'm protected. And I love how you mentioned like
it builds confidence because over the years this is like,
this is something I've accepted. I always like, I used
to be a type a planner. I would plan like
(38:56):
four oh seven, like you will wake up like to
that extent, and I I'm releasing myself. I'm like, no,
like you have protection, just listen to the insights that
are coming. So I don't plan. So I can be
flexible and be like I'm changing my plan. I'm going
here instead. And I was just in Southeast Asia and
again no planning, and I would keep making changes. I'd
(39:18):
be like, no, we're going to change the plan. We're
not going to go here. I have a feeling, I'm
having this insight that we should go somewhere else. And
when we would leave, my husband would be like, oh
my god, there was just the flood, like it just
happened when we left. And it really is that it
builds confidence of knowing first you're protected and listening to
it and not going like, oh, it's like mumbo jumbo. No.
(39:39):
If you're hearing that instant, that voice, and some people
like your mom would see it. Some people hear it,
some people sense it, some people smell it, trust it,
trust it, and it'd be like you you accepted more
and more as time goes on.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
You are really connected.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
You are connected, my traveling angel love me.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Well, it's you. And there's like I said, there again,
spirit teachers, angels, it's it's just on the website. U.
There is a a message from a volume two uh
and there are different items that you can see. So
(40:25):
take a look at that and see what you think.
I think you'll be impressed.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I well, I will. I'm so excited. You know, we're
coming towards the end of our interview and I I've
just been loving this conversation because these are conversations that
I'm sure as someone to have, but they're like, I
don't want to sound like cuckoo or crazy or like
what is this person talking about? It's not something that
(40:51):
we've per se normalized in our society, but we're seeing
more and more of as there is this awakening, in
this conscious awakening. So I'm so glad we got to
have it. And I hope the audience. I'm sure the
audience like, oh, finally someone's talking about it and you know,
kind of paving that path to normalizing this connection with
(41:14):
our spirit guides. Last question, and we've talked about this
briefly throughout the book, but is there any particular teachings
from the book that listeners can implement in their daily
lives to enhance their spiritual awareness.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
There are just so many passages and lines. I received
a message to me and one of the lines said,
blessed is he who remains always an understanding of his
calling and you know, if you can understand that you
have a calling and know that you're here for a reason. Now,
(41:57):
I don't think we're assigned to these lives and assigned
to a certain set of parents without any intention of
what we're supposed to learn in this lifetime. So I said,
there's just too many. Nothing comes to my mind right
now because it's such a tremendous body of material. But
(42:22):
I know that everybody who's probably nodding along with you
when you were explaining about how you were protected and
these things happen, they're going, yeah, that's happened to me.
That's happened to me. And I'll bet that a lot
of people are going to enjoy this interview because they're saying, hey,
I'm not the only one. I'm not the only one.
(42:42):
So I hope that people will decide to get the
book and allow these messages and teachings to apply to them.

And I'm sure the book is exactly like that. It's
like exactly as you said, read it once, as if
the spirit is speaking to me, as if a speaking
to my mom and then speaking to you, and the
