Inside back. After Thursday's win at Kansas City, the Bison
are looking for a road weekend sweep and the herd
of ventured north on I twenty nine to Omaha, where
they'll meet the first place team in the Summit League standings.
It's a Saturday afternoon a Bison basketball as North Dakota

(00:21):
State takes on Omaha and we bring you in courtside.
Hello again, everybody, I'm Sam Peterman. Welcome to another day
of Bison basketball. Hope you're doing well. Hope your weekend
has gone smoothly. NDSU back on the road. This will
be the final of a three game road swing in
league play. The Bison are trying to sweep the weekend

(00:42):
after they won on Thursday night in Kansas City seventy
eight to seventy two. The final score a big time
win for the Bison to get back in the win
column after dropping back to back games in conference play,
and NDSU look like their normal selves.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
They were able to get it done on both the offensive.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Defensive ends against the Ruse, and they were led by
Noah Fenders, who had a terrific game on Thursday, one
of his best of the season. He had seventeen points
at ten rebounds, his second double double of the year.
He was a perfect eight for eight from the floor,
the first time that a Bison has gone eight for
eight one hundred percent shooting in a game since Marshall

(01:20):
bjorklnd did it back in twenty twelve. Jackson Money had
twenty four points, Jacari White was able to have thirteen
points in a career best eight assists, and NDSU led
for the majority of the game and won by six
in Kansas City to get to six and four in
conference play. Now the Bison have an opportunity to take

(01:42):
on the first place team in the conference. Omaha is
nine to one and they've been red hot for the
last two months in Summit League play. Their only loss
came a week and a half ago at USD. Other
than that, they started off eight to zero in the
league and they had not looked back since nine one
through the first ten games and a game up on

(02:02):
everybody else for first place in the standings. This will
be the second meeting between the Bison and the Mavericks
so far this year. They met in game two of
Summing League play back at Fargo on January the fourth,
and NDSU lost at home eighty five to eighty Despite
leading for the majority of the contest. The Bison were

(02:22):
up by twelve with twelve minutes to play, but then
Omaha put together a lake comeback and they ended up
winning it by five. At the game's final buzzer, they
went on a thirty eight to twenty one run to
knock off the Bison down the stretch.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
It was Lance Waddles, the former Bison, who heated up.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
In particular, he hit five threes in a row to
cap off a career high twenty four point after dude
against his former squad, and the Bison tromped to zero
to two at conference play at the time. Now, they
won five in a row after that lost two in
a row last weekend. They're trying to get back with
two wins here this weekend as they take on the
map for the first time on the road inside of

(03:02):
Baxter Areta. The Bison in fourth place of the Summit
League standings at six and four. They're seventeen to eight
overall this season. Almaha is fifteen to ten.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Overall this season, nine to one in league play.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
They were four and nine to start their season before
getting off to a crazy starting conference play they went
seven to zero to begin conference, the best start that
they've had in Summit League history as a Division One program.
They went on a nine game winning streak throughout the
months of December and into January that took the nation

(03:37):
by storm.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Of course, they've gone.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Viral for their postgame locker room trash can celebration, which
first went public after they beat the Bison and Fargo
at the very beginning of January. Plenty of connections between
these two teams and DSU, with a couple of former
players who now play for the MAVs. We mentioned Lance Waddles,
who has been a nice addition for the Map, scoring

(04:00):
just under ten points per game this season, but also
Josh Streip, reserved big man who played three years for
the Bison before transferring over to Omaha for his senior year.
He scores two points a game and gets three rebounds
per game off of the bench. And then there's Kayan Brown,
who was an assistant for Dave Richmond and the Bison
for six seasons before coming over to Omaha with head

(04:22):
coach Chris Crutchfield three years ago.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
He's in his third year here on staff.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Spent a lot of time in Fargo with Coach Richmond
and company before coming down here to Omaha. So a
lot of connections and a lot at stake between these
two teams as they duke it out for the second
time in the regular season, and we'll see if the
Bison can bounce back after dropping the first meeting in
Fargo eighty five to eighty the final score. I'd like

(04:49):
to remind you that Junior Bison Club memberships are now
available to purchase for only twenty five dollars. For more information,

bar visit CASEIH dot com slash Bison.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Both teams are warming up.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
The Bison to our left, they'll be wearing gold this afternoon. Meanwhile,
Omaha is directly in front of us offset to the basket.
To our right, they'll be wearing their white home uniforms.
They have black warm uptops on at the moment. The
Bison have their white warm up tops on at the moment.
Special ones for the occasion. It's the This Game Is

(05:39):
No Secret Game as a part of Black History Month
and to raise awareness for the secret Game that was
played in the nineteen forties in college basketball between North
Carolina College and Duke That was back when the sport
was still unfortunately segregated in the South and legendary coach
John McClendon for North Carolina College had his team face

(06:01):
off against Duke University behind closed doors. The game is
now known as the Secret Game. There were no journalists
there in attendance, no fans as well. It was just
a scrimmage between the two teams at the time. It
would become publicly known as a secret game a number
of years later, and today the Bison with their warm
up shirts that say this Game is No Secret to

(06:22):
celebrate and bring awareness of the game and the progress
that's been made here of the sport in the year
over the years to come. So great to see for NDSU.
They wore the this Game Is No Secret shirts the
last couple of years and they've got them on here
again today. It'll be a fun one as the Bison
take on Omaha and they look to get back in business.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
It would be a huge win.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
For NDSU to come on the road and beat the
first place team in the league, they'd be right back
in the thick of things in the Summit League standings.
We'll take our first time out. Much more to come
here on the KIH pregame show. We'll take a look
around the Sumventh League at the league standings and schedule
for today. We'll also have our keys of the game.
But first, when we return, we'll chat with the head
coach of the Bison, Dave Richmond. This is the Bison

Welcome back to omahad is the case i h pregame
show as we get set for the Bison in Omaha
this afternoon, previewing the matchup with coach Richmond coach, always
great to see you little mattin day here in the
Summit League. Got a Saturday, took an early shoot around,
and a great opportunity to finish up the road trip
on a winning note.

Speaker 11 (09:33):
Yeah, certainly a great win for us on Thursday night.
You know Kansas City as a team, you know, and
certainly their record maybe doesn't speak for it, but they're
just extremely well coached and we knew it was going
to be a hard fought battle, and it was a
hard pop battle and we made enough winning place down
the stretch or we hung on to a lead to
and did some things like that. But we understand too

(09:56):
now a challenge I'm being on the road and short
turnaround all the things that that we've got eliminate excuses
because this is obviously a really talented Omaha outfit that's
number one the league right now.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
How about Noah Pederson on Thursday night coach seventeen and
ten and he was a perfect day of eight from
the floor.

Speaker 11 (10:12):
Yeah, just I think all those things on a box
score show up and they're lowed to double double like that.

Speaker 7 (10:17):
But I'm just very very proud.

Speaker 11 (10:18):
You know, Noah will self admittedly tell you, like the
last couple of games, he'd been struggling a little bit
and did not attempt the field goals last Sunday at
Saint Thomas, And you know, we challenged the entire group
Noah challenged, but Noah, Noah took that challenge you.

Speaker 7 (10:31):
With great hunger and humility and owned a lot of things.

Speaker 11 (10:34):
And when you've got the character that Noah has, when
you've got the culture in the locker room that we have,
you got the right guys who are going to respond
to that. And just so happy for Noah. I'm very
very pleased for him to respond like that, and now,
you know, for him to find that consistency, that's when
a good player goes to a great player.

Speaker 7 (10:52):
Consistency is a great team.

Speaker 11 (10:55):
Doing things over and over and over again, and that's
what we got to be this afternoon.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
First eight for eight game by a Bison since Marshall
Bjorklund in twenty twelve.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
How about that.

Speaker 11 (11:06):
That's a big number right there, and that's a heck
of a player, Big Mars. It's actually funny his name
just came up last night and Marsh's warrior. But also,
you know, I thought noelh found different ways too. He
had a three, he had a bank, you know, I mean,
he had it going for him too. But you know,
to me, the seventeen points, eight for eight is great,
it's more the mentality that he played with, the fearlessness

(11:26):
that he played with, the ten rebounds, that's that's a
big number.

Speaker 7 (11:30):
And just very happy for Nolan obviously us.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yeah, certainly great company right there. Talking with coach Richmond
as we get ready for Omaha this after dude, you
mentioned the rebounding that's always been an emphasis coach, how
pivotal was in a matchup like this.

Speaker 7 (11:43):
Yeah, I mean, it's just it's very, very pivotal. I
think it again.

Speaker 11 (11:46):
I just said it to the team, and in a
lot of ways, offensive tickets, defense wins games, and rebounding
wins championships. And you know, Oma all beat us for
a myriad of reasons, you know the last time we
played him in our place. But the biggest thing is
they had sixteen more opportunities than us between you know,
the turnover margin that they won and the offensive rebound
margin that what they won. So you know, again like

(12:06):
we need to be a better defensive team, we need
to be a better rebounding team, and those things really
go hand in hand. Great defensive teams finished possessions, and
also great defensive teams force the opponent into those tough
twoes and those things where it gives you a better
opportunity to finish possessions on the glass.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Another moment that stuck out during Thursday's game was at
the end of the first half to Javis. Miller makes
it incredible save out to Brett and he knocks down
to three cauld You just walk us through that play, coach,
and how he was able to.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Pull it off.

Speaker 11 (12:35):
I think in the moment, you think it's maybe just
a little bit of dumb luck and just that you know,
Javis just chucking the ball and then you go back
and you watch it. You watch it in slow mole,
like Javis as he's going out of bounce, recognizes some things,
is able to secure the ball one hand and then
just whip it out to Brendan and then Brennan obviously
delivered a big shot. And again, you conference play, conference
play on the road, and then you go back and

(12:57):
we end up winning that.

Speaker 7 (12:57):
Game by two possessions, by six points. That's a big play.

Speaker 11 (13:00):
That's a big momentum swing going into halftime too, And
I again, I think that's that's that's that impacting a lot.

Speaker 7 (13:08):
Of different ways that those guys.

Speaker 11 (13:09):
Are are needing to understand and finding that consistency to
those things to to understand. Like for us to be
the good team that we are, we've got to continue
to make those plays. Now, we've got to continue to
make those plays more consistently to be a great team.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Any other keys to watch for against Omahall coach.

Speaker 11 (13:25):
No, I mean, I think JJ White's playing as good
as anybody in the league, Sam, I really do. And
so it's important that we limit his opportunities. Markel Sutton,
you know, is just I mean, he's a lunch belt kid.
I mean, he's very talented, and so I don't you
give him credit like that way.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
But he plays with with a ton of emotion.

Speaker 11 (13:40):
And you know, I just think they're they're a group
that's got a lot of confidence right now.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
They're they're they're good, they're well coached.

Speaker 11 (13:45):
Crutches done a tremendous job and a short amount of
time that he's been here, And I think that early
season winning has just bred a lot of confidence into
this group. And I mean, and you can see that
paying off and the wins and losses like they went
to they win a tight one Thursday against North Dakota
and and you can obviously clearly see that in the
conference standards.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Can't wait. Coach, really appreciate the time. Thank you very much,
good luck, Thank you Sam appreciating. Our interview with Coach

counting down a tip off. It's NDSU at Omaha this afternoon.
The Bison at seventeen and eight overall, six and four
in the Summit League, fourth place in the league standings
Omaha in fifteen to ten overall, nine to one, and
in first place in the league's I'm Sam Peederman for
about eleven minutes away from tip offers, so we'll take

(18:05):
a look around the Summit League's standings and in the
other games across the conference here this afternoon. As we mentioned,
Omaha on first place at nine and one, Saint Thomas
in second place at eight to two. The Tommy's lost
on the road on Thursday at South Dakota State, just
their second loss of the season. The only other one
came on this very home floor here in Baxter Arena

(18:25):
against Omaha a few weeks ago. Third place South Dakota
State at seven and three, as we mentioned, they beat
the Tommy's on Thursday, they're just two games out of first.
The Bison are in fourth place at six and four.
USD is in fifth place at five and four. They've
won back to back games, including a win at Denver
on Thursday, und Is three and seven.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
They're a sixth place.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
They lost here at Omaha on Thursday on a buzzer
beater by JJ White. Seventh place Oral Roberts there at
two and seven on the season. Eighth plays Kansas City
they're two and eight, they've lost eight in a row,
and Night Place Denver. They're in dead last at two
and eight as well. Three other games across the lake
today Saint Thomas at Denver that won't tip off until

(19:09):
three o'clock Central, UNI visits Kansas City at five o'clock Central,
and then to close things out in the nightcap USD
at Oral Roberts. South Dakota State is idle today with
a bye week. We mentioned the three point shooting for
the Bison. They look like their normal selves out of offense.
On Thursday night at Kansas City, they hit twelve more

(19:30):
made three pointers. They were twelve of twenty five from
beyond the yark. It is the nineteenth time this season
that the Bison have made ten plus threes in a game.
Pretty ridiculous when you think about it. Nineteen out of
twenty five games and esu's made ten or more threes.
A lot of teams across college basketball would die for that.
And DSU is fourteen and five when they hit ten

(19:51):
or more threes in a game.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
They are nine to two when they have fifteen or
more assists. In a game.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
They had fifteen on Thursday night at Kansas City, and
then he has used sixteen to four when they score
sixty nine points or better on the season, So eighty
percent of the time you can take it to the
bank if an ESU is at sixty nine or above.
They were on Thursday nine against Kansas City. We'll see
if they do it here today against Omaha. On the

(20:17):
defensive side of things, another trend for the Biders, and
they're ten to zero when they hold their opponent to
sixty eight points or less, and we'll see if they
can do that against an Omaha offense. Step as one
of the top players in the league in Markelon Sutton,
averaging seventeen points per game in seven rebounds. He has
thirteen games this year in which he has scored twenty

(20:39):
or more. He is their top scorer, but their hottest
player at the moment is their point guard JJ White.
He is averaging twenty two points per game over his
last seven thirteen points per game on the year overall.
They put him back in the starting lineup at the
beginning of December during the seventh League Big Sky Challenge,
and he has not looked back ever. Since Thursday night

(21:00):
he had his best moment of the season when he
knocked down a game winning three pointer at the buzzer
for the Mavericks to defeat und eighty to seventy seven
the final score. So a lot of magic right now
for the Mavericks in their hot start to lead play
and we'll see if the Bison can put it into it.

Welcome back inside Baxter Arena here in Omaha, Nebraska. Today
it's North Dakota State Bison against the Omaha Mavericks as
NDSU looks to get the road weekend sweep and knock
off the first place team in the Summit League.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Glad that you're with us. I'm Sam Niederman.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
They just turned down the lights inside Baxter Arena. The
cheerleaders and dance team are on the floor right now
getting ready to greet Omaha. They'll come out of the
locker room, which is located pretty much directly behind our
broadcast location. They're expecting a whole crowd of a couple
thousand inside of this facility. It holds almost seven thousand.

(24:31):
It's a beautiful arena that serves as the home to
both Omaha men's and women's basketball and Omaha hockey. During
the winter time. The Mavericks hockey program is very good.
They've been to a couple of Frozen Fours and they'll
be playing tonight against Minnesota Duluth. They played them last
night and then the facilities crew here at Baxter Arena

(24:54):
had to transform the arena from a hockey set up
with the ice rink to basketball. We have the hardwood
floor on top of the ice. The ice is actually
underneath us right now. They have tiles to cover it
up and then they put the basketball court on top
of that. It's a little colder in here than normal,
but nothing that NDISU hasn't seen before. Taking on Omaha

(25:15):
in the Summit League for the last decade plus, both
teams have come on out to the floor. Omaha warming
up in front of us. On the basket to our right.
They'll be wearing their white home uniforms trimmed in black
and red. The Bison are on the basket to our left.
They'll be wearing their gold alternate uniforms trimmed in green.
Let's take a look at this afternoon's keys of the

(25:37):
game for the Byson. We're looking to avenge in eighty
five to eighty loss against Omaha on the first meeting
back at Fargo almost a month ago in January. First
key to the game for NDSU rebounding its specifically keeping
Omaha off of the offensive class. That was an area
in which the Mavericks were able to capitalize the first game.

(26:00):
DSU gave up a couple too many offensive rebounds. That
was key and Omaha's comeback against the Biason. Dave Richmond
and his staff they've been emphasizing that in the forty
eight hours leading up to this one. After the win
against Kansas City on Thursday. We'll see if NDSU can
make good on that here today. Second key for NDSU

(26:20):
will be spread the wealth once again. We'll be looking
at assists. As we mentioned NDISU nine to two this
season where they have fifteen or more assists. They averaged
fifteen assists on the season, which is second best in
the Summit League. We'll see if they can get the
ball around of multiple scores. Jackson Boney had twenty four points,
Jacurry White had eight assists on Thursday night against Kansas

(26:42):
City as well. Thirteen to eight in the game for
Jacari and of course Noah Pederson seventeen points ten boards
as well with the double double and the perfect game
from the floor at eight for eight in the game
as well. So we'll see if the Biaza can continue
to spread the wealth, share the ball, and get some
good offense here against Omaha. You look at the Mavericks

(27:06):
in their rankings, they're nine to one. They don't have
any stats that necessarily stick out as far as leading
the conference. Most of their rankings in the nine teams
summing league fall from the four.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
To six range.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
They're sixth in the league in offense scoring seventy five
points per game, fourth and defense at seventy four points
allowed per game, fifth, in field goal percentage seventh, and
free throw percentage fourth and three point percentage fifth, in turnovers, sixth,
in rebounding, fifth in offense are rebounding, fifth in steels,
blocks and assists. Yet the Mavericks continue to find a

(27:40):
way to win ball games. They have the league's best
record at nine to one, and they're coming off a
thrilling win against und on Thursday night, eighty to seventy seven.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
The final score.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
JJ White hit the game winning buzzer beater, And we'll
see if any as you can.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Knock them off the second time around.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
The Bison with a win, would be right back in
the thick of things in the Summit League standings. Before
we take our final time out, let's pause ten seconds
for station identification. You're listening to Bison basketball. You know

(28:23):

right back in the thick of things, in the top
four of the Summit League standings.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
We're just about set for basketball.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Markel Sutton will jump for Omaha on six foot nine
to h Fenders in for the Byers and at six

from left to right as you listen. Here's Brendan Watkins
at the point, left wing, Mason Miller down the post
for Jackson Mooney one on one with Sutton working down
in the paint, comes into the middle of the lane,
kicks out Jacurry White right wing. Three splash first shot

(36:08):

Jacurry White with a triple three nothing Indsu. Nicely done
by Jacary. He's the top three point shooter in the
conference is sixty eighth May three of the year. Omaha
at the other end, they get an easy basket by

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Buison back from left to right as you listen, into
the post again for Money, left of the lane, banging
his hip against Sutton, working into the paint ducks underneath,

a deflection from Sutton, and Omaha comes up with a
loose rebound.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Osbourne in the.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Front court left of the key pulls up for three
short off the front of the rim, rebound secured by
Mason Miller. Here come the Bison from left to right.
Miller around the screen from Money, Drives, picks up his dribble,
bounces out to Watkins, left, Watkins out top for mot
He tosses back to Watkins, dishes out for White. White,
drives into the lane, puts it up on the right hand.
Rejected by Thomas and out of bounds. It'll stay with

(37:10):
the Bison. Cameron Thomas with the block and the Bison
will retain possession on the left baseline. Not before a
little pause on the floor Isaac on dea Khane. Looks
like he is dealing with a minor cuts of some sort.
He's got some blood on his hand, so he'll have

(37:30):
to exit the game momentarily or at least be tended
to by the athletic trader over on the Omaha bench.
He must have gotten cut during the run of play
and now they're gonna have to bandage it up.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Looks like he's gonna be all right, though nothing too severe.

Speaker 1 (37:51):

He doesn't.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
It was stolen by Omaha and the buzzer sounds for
a shot clock violation on the Bison.

Speaker 19 (38:21):
Right.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
So Andy as you will give it back on the
first turnover of the ball game, Omaha with it right
to left. As you listen here's White in the point
guard on the left wing, holding at his shoulders, starts
to dribble, working on Mason Miller of the post for
on to Khane and a whistle for a trammel on
on to Kanae. Moved his feet and that'll give it
right back to the Bison. Bison have it now from

(38:47):

two minutes. Here at Omaha, Watkins high on the right
side out top, Jakari White, White driving left and Lane
puts it up on the left hand and scores off
the window. Jakari White to a nice start. He's got
the first five points for the Bison, and it's five

Speaker 2 (39:04):

Speaker 1 (39:04):
Two minutes into Omaha, White a three at the other
end and that's good. Just like that, the Mavericks tie
it up. It's five to five, seventeen forty nine remaining
in the half. Bison back in the front court. White
behind the back dribble, moves at right corner Federson. He'll
pop a three and knocks it down. Noah Feederson connects

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Bison back in the front court with Money out top
Money with a shot fake, dribbles down left of the lane,
spins into the pain and now we'll loop it out
for Mason Miller miscommunication though Champson threw it out for
the wing. Mason was cutting into the basket and it
goes out and bounds for a turnover. A couple of

(40:14):
early turnovers for the Byson, but they still lead at
eight to seven on.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
The Coach's Choice scoreboard.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Three minutes into Omaha, back in the front court left
jj white and the point picked up by Miller, veers
over to the left wing, gets it to Osburn at
the top of the key. Driving in middle of the lane,
puts him a floater from ten and connects Tony Osburn
with his first basket of the game. And Omaha with
its first lead. They're up nine to eight on the Bison,

(40:39):
sixteen thirty nine to go in the half. Boney right
in the key, Jackson starts to dribble over to his left,
hands it off for Jacari Open fires a three caroms
out no good rebound batted by Miller off of Thomas's hands.
He fumbled it and Zacari White breaks the timeline. He
comes back in deals to money left in the key,
fires another three rim glass miss.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Miller bats it out again for Watkins his three on
the way bottom.

Speaker 1 (41:03):

good thirteen to twelve, buys it back on top.

Speaker 2 (41:42):

Jackson Money with a crafty finish.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
The Bison are back with him three eighteen to fifteen.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Fourteen mats to play in the half and the Bison
beck on defense. There's Osburn right in the key down
on the right corner for Sutton, working on Money, starts
his dribble outside to White left of the key, Osburn.
Osburn driving down to the paint, crammed in a double

He bounces to Watkins sweeping underneath basket, rolls into Federson
right corner. Three grim glassmans offensive rebound. Miller, Mason has it,
hooks it outside for Watkins. You'll fire straightaway. Three no

come up empty? Despite another second chance created by Mason
Miller and now Omaha will settle into the front court.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
Jayshn Glover comes back inside the arc and now out
with five to shoot, Globber on the left wing, hops
to his left, puts up a tough, long two airball
remounted in the hands of the Bison, but not before
whistle for shockcock violation. Glover's shot never hit rim, so
that means the Bison will take over on the imbound
good defensive sequence by Ndisu right out of the time out.

(47:36):
They'll bring it up the other way from left to
right to Javis Miller, Luke, Kasuke, Andy Stefanowitz all in

left ark for Sutton. Sutton backing in on Kasuki with

left shoulders, skips it to Glover. Extra pass White they'll
rotate it to Wattles driving in to the lane, puts
it up with the right hand strong offensive rebound straight
right wing. Glover fires a three rim glass miss and
the rebound controlled by Kasuki. Your cup of eyes in

Speaker 2 (59:11):

Speaker 1 (59:12):
Screen from onto Kanae whips it over to Osburn, driving
right block extended, cramping his way into the paint, kicks
it left sideline and a whistle as Omaha stepped down
and bounds Kamani Cooper, who has checked in off the bench.
He caught the pass but on the far sideline, so
it's a turnover. It'll go the other way back to
the Bison. It is you left to right, trailing by

(59:34):
eleven thirty five to twenty four. Money left in the
key with seven points in the first half, had it
knocked away by Osburn and a whistle for a foul
on the reachin by Osburn. First foul on Osburn, first
foul on Omaha, and it comes with six twenty nine
remaining in the first half. Jackson kind of caught in

(59:56):
a little tramp on the perimeter. Osburn tried to reach
in and got a little more arm than ball. Bison
with it in the front court, Watkins driving in right
him lay up no good rebound statched by White, transition
for the Mavericks. Five on four, Thomas right wing attacks

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Between his legs and out of bounds. It'll be a
turnover for the Bison.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Nicely done by Ndiasu to get back on defense and transition,
and now they'll have it. With hundred six to play
in the half, down by eleven Money at the point,
Money finds Miller on the right wing, fires his first three.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
It's good. Mason.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Miller knocks down the three is first basket of the afternoon,

the Byson on defense is White brings it back over
the timeline or right wing, Cooper out top for Sutton.
Sucking hands it off for White, weaving it out on
the perimeter, working on Miller right wing.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
Sutton.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Sutton attacks right baseline, working on Boney. He picks up
his dribble, claps it waiting for a cutter, bounces to
Onnokane back to Sutton with eight to shoot, Sutton hoists
an eighteen footer. It's long, no good and the rebound
taken by White for the Bison. Here comes Ndsu back
within eight, five to ten. Remaining in the half, White

(01:01:36):
deals for Miller left wing.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Three.

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Karen's off no good and the rebound by Sutton and
DSU has scored the last five.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
But here comes Omaha.

Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
White on the right side of the key, brings it
back out to the point, working on Mason Miller left
wing for Thomas. Thomas holds overhead into the post for Sutton,
denied by Fedderson and goes out of bounds off of
Fedderson and the Bison left Jayshawn Bubber will come back
into the game. Cooper will go out for Omaha. Omaha

(01:02:08):
inbound left baseline with fourteen seconds to shoot. White looking
looking gets it in left corner. Glover are three on
the way off the rim, no good box out by
Money clears to Watkins. Watkins crammed in the corner and
now he has some space. He'll dribble across the big
court stripe Watkins into the front court right wing.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
White Jakari moves.

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Back out top drives, attacks the basket, got his man
in the air and banks it home for two. Jacari
White with a nice move for the Bison, his seventh
point an NDSU has scored seven on answer and they're
within six. It's thirty five to twenty nine, buys it
on defense, looking for another stop.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
White high on the right side, out top for Thomas.

Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
Thomas in the high post working on Watkins spin move

Sam Niederman with you in Omaha, Nebraska thirty five thirty
one in favor of Omaha over the Bison on the
coach's choice scoreboard. Three forty eight remaining of the half,

(01:05:10):
but the Bison have rallied back. A nine to nothing
run has drawn in DSU within four after they trailed
by as many as thirteen. They've held Omaha scoreless for
the last three and a half minutes, and in that
stretch they've gotten a few baskets. Mason Miller with a
three and then he took in a layup to force
an Omaha on time out right before commercial. And we've

(01:05:34):
got a ballgame with three forty eight to go in
the half. Let's see if the Bison can keep the momentum.
He'll be back on defense. The starters on the floor Watkins, White, Mason, Miller,
Bony and Pederson. Meanwhile, Omaha on offense with White, Wattles,
Glover on Da, Kanye and Sutton. Sutton has it on
the left side, left sideline, now for Clover. Clover right

(01:05:56):
of the key on to Khane hands it off for Wattles.
Wattles heads down on the far perimeter left wing sudden
left sideline White, White driving in with tennis shoe, puts
up a runner and makes it with the right hand.
JJ White still perfect on the game.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
Four for four.

Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
That's his eleventh point and the Bison are down by
six thirty seven thirty one. Here's Money left of the key,
swings it for Miller on the right wing.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
Back to Mony.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Money at the point, hands it off to White coming
down around the screen. He moves over to his left,
gives up to Miller left wing.

Speaker 7 (01:06:27):
Three.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Got it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
Mason Miller with his seventh point, eighth point in the game.
I beg your pardon, and here come to Bison. There
within three thirty seven thirty four, two fifty to go
in the half on to Kanae over the Glover on
the right sideline.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Glover into the poster, on to Kane.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Moves into the lane, fakes left, fakes right, puts it
up left and missed it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
Ray Mount grab by Fedderson. Bison come up with a
stop two forty five remaining and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Actually the game clock is right now there's a clock
issue and the refs actually stop play. The clock was
frozen after the rebound by Noah and the Bison will
have the ball. They're going to have to review this
and make sure that they get it right. Thirty seven
thirty four Omaha, Bison down by three, and a pause

(01:07:21):
on the floor as they figure out the game clock.
Whether you're in crisis or just need someone to listen,
nine eight eight is here, call her text nine eight
eight or chat online. One of the officials is looking
at the clock at the moment, looking at the monitor
on the near side here. Both teams instructed to go
back to their benches. Will they sort this out? I'm

(01:07:46):
not sure exactly what the game clock time was supposed
to be, but it was frozen at two forty six.
They never started going again on a shot clock. Looking
at it right now, see if they can get the
correct time here. After the Bison made the stop and

(01:08:07):
the SU was down thirty three to twenty. But ever
since they have gone on a fourteen to four run,

(01:08:32):
officials are still looking at the clock here. I'm trying
to pitpoint the exact time. Game clock currently reads to
forty six, and we'll see if they put probably a
few more seconds on there, BRANDSU. Nevertheless, thirty seven to

(01:08:54):
thirty four, Bison down by three.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Officials are still checking the monitor for time.

Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
They might just have to guesstimate how many seconds were
going because it was frozen at two forty six and
the yes, we're bringing up the floor for at least
a few more seconds. The question is when did it
stop and to forty six. I believe they're gonna put
two twenty eight on the clock. That's at least what

(01:09:50):
it looks like on the stats monitor.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
Now, it looks like they've come to a decision and
they're gonna to switch the game clock two two thirty,
two thirty, so they take sixteen seconds. It was frozen
for a long time, two thirty remaining on the first
half clock of the Bison will have the ball. They

(01:10:19):
take over down by three thirty seven thirty four. Front
court right Brennan Watkins has it right wing, left wing
Bony Bony working on sun almost faked his shot now
suffles to his left, dribbling on the wing, hands it
off to Jakari coming downhill on the free throw line.
Comes back out shot clock down to five. Jakaria three

(01:10:40):
rim class and good. It's good for Jacari. Shooters touch
Bison with their eighth three and a half and they
have come back to tie it up thirty seven thirty
seven half of the eleventh point by Jacari White, and
now Omaha knocks it down a bounds off of the
bison last Oma all will keep it. Glover gets it

(01:11:05):
in for White ten points. Now for Jakari, I big
your pardon four or five from the floor. JJ White
on the left sideline out to the top of the key,
the left hand dribble nine on the timer skips it
for Glover right corner. Glover driving into the right block,
puts up a turn around Jay.

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
It's good Jay.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Shawn Glover gives Omaha the lead back gets thirty nine
thirty seven bison trail by two to go in the
gate and the half Bony between the rings facing up
pivoting through hands it off to Watkins. Watkins right in
the key left wing Miller. Miller around the screen from Bony,
picks up his dribble with ten to shoot out top.

(01:11:46):
Now for Jakari. Jacari will get things going with seven
to shoot. Driving in open lane, scoop shot is no good.
Worry abound on the baseline taken by a sonton and
here comes Omaha in transition. Glover glides over the right wing.
Glover deals out to White left wing Sutton. Sutton holes
at his left tip pocket. One minute to go in
the half, backing down Jakari Sutton right of the lane.

(01:12:07):
Sutton outside for Glover, pops it in for Honda. Khane
ball knocked loose and out off of NDSU last with
thirteen seconds on the timer, so now Obaha will imbound
on the right baseline.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
Fifty three points seven seconds to go in the half.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
White gets it in for Osburn baseline jumper good Tony
Osburn knocks down the jumper and it's forty one thirty
seven Omaha.

Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
They're shooting better than fifty three percent.

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
They lead the Bison by four after NDSU tied it
at thirty seven forty one thirty seven Omaha, and a
whistle on the perimeter for a foul on JJ White.

Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
Foul on White, that'll be his first.

Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Team's second and DSU will now inbound for the sideline.
Twenty one seconds to shoot and bound comes in to
Watkins left wing. Money Moony facing up he's inside of
a double team, bounces to Mason Miller right wing. Watkins

(01:13:14):
open three on the way. Ram Glass in this time
no good rebound on to Kane.

Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
Seat clock is dark.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Omaha in possession with twenty seconds to go on the half,
Bison have to anchor in on defense.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Let's see what they can do in the final thirteen
seconds of the half.

Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
It's White with it on the BG court logo working
on Miller crossover dribble six seconds, White into the lane,
step back, jumper on the way, no good. Rebound on
to Kane, put back on the way, no good, and
the Bison are able to make the stops as they
bat it in the air as time expires. First half
comes to a close in Omaha. The Bison within four

I'm Sam Peterman, glad that you're with us. Back and forth.

Speaker 1 (01:16:44):
First half, Bison got off to a good start, then
they trailed by as many as thirteen.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
They're down by four at the break.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
Let's take a listen back to it all with our
butt light first half highlights and Dsu using some offensive
rebounding and it was third time that charm from three
point land for the Bison. In the early going deals
to money left, the Key fires another three rim glass,
Maz Miller bats it out again.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
For Watkins his three on the way bottom. Brendan third
times the charm and NDSU capitalizes. They knock down another
tray and they're up eleven to nine.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Brendan Watkins with the three for the Bison, But then
it would be a flurry of threes for the Mavericks.
They would go on a nine to nine thing run
and bem twenty one fifteen. In the first media timeout,
almost seven minutes in the game, Bison were struggling offensively.

Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
They hit a little bit of a low while Allah
was knocking down everything.

Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
They were nine for their first thirteen from three point range,
all of those of inks coming from JJ White, MARKL.
Sunton and Jayshon Glover, three of them a peach. But
the Bison were able to dig in. After trailing thirty
three to twenty, they put together a run of their own,
capped off by.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
The senior Bason Miller Watkins left wing.

Speaker 1 (01:17:58):
Miller drives in left baseline layup is good and at
timeout taken by Omaha.

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Big time response by the Bison.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Nine nothing run and they've drawn within four three forty
eight to play in the half.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
It's thirty five thirty one, nine nothing run.

Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Mason Miller had a three before that layup, but then
he capped it off himself, driving in for two. Timeout
forced by Omaha thirty five to thirty one to score.
Bison would get back within three after a May three
pointer who is thirty seven thirty four, and then the
top three point shooter of the Summit League, who happens
to be a Bison captain as well, he knocked down

(01:18:37):
a trade to tie up the game.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
Shot clocked down to five Jakaria three, rim, class and good.

Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
It's good for Jacari Shooters touch Bison with their eighth
three and a half and they have come back to
tie it up thirty seven thirty seven.

Welcome back to Backster Arena here in Omaha. The Bison
down forty one to thirty seven and a half to half.
I'm Sam Niederman. Let's take a look at our first
half stats. The Bison led by Jakari White ten points
on four of six shooting a pair of three pointers.
Mason Miller had eight points in the last few minutes
of the first half. He didn't score in the early going,

(01:22:21):
definitely did score the first half first ten minutes or so.
He had eight points on two threes as well. Brendan
Watkins had a long two and then he had only
just two points of the half, three points for Noah Pederson,
seven points for Jackson Mony as well. Bison shohn fifty
seven percent from the floor, forty six percent from three
to seven out of fifteen from long range. Meanwhile, Omaha

(01:22:43):
they came back down to earth after a very hot
shooting start where they initially jumped out to a thirteen
point lead, sixteen of thirty to fifty three percent from
the floor, fifty six percent from three point range, nine
out of sixteen. They made nine out of their first thirteen,
eight out of the first eleven. Actually, so one for
the last five from three, which has been a better

(01:23:04):
trend for the Bison for sure. Rebounding right now twelve
eleven in favor of Omaha. We talked about in the
Keys of the game. They only have three offensive rebounds.
Bison doing a nice job trying to limit them in
that category. We'll take one last time out as the
Bison come out on the locker room. We'll get you
ready for the second half tim when we return. Omaha
forty one, the Bison thirty seven. This is the Bison

Welcome Back Inside Backs Arena here at Omaha, Nebraska. The
Bison trail Omaha forty one to thirty seven, coming out
of the halftime locker room. Then dsu back warming up
to our right, Omaha now warming up to our left.

Speaker 2 (01:25:48):
See what the Bisa could do.

Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
They had a great response in the middle of the
first after trailing by as many as thirteen, they came
back on an eleven to two run, force O'maha to
call a time out. Did tie the game at thirty
seven apiece. However, the Mavericks would score the final four
points of the half to go up by four. Coming
out of the halftime locker room forty one thirty seven

(01:26:12):
our score. Lets pause ten seconds for station identification. You're
listening to Bison basketball Bizon getting lose to our right,

(01:26:32):
and we're now joined by Byson assistant coach Luke Stragi.
After the first half, Coach Dragie, appreciate you taking the
time thoughts on the ebb and flow of that first half.

Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
Down by thirteen, we're able to tie it up two.

Speaker 29 (01:26:44):
Little different halves within a half. First half of that half.
That's a lot of halfs is they just did miss.
We're very soft on the ball. Just give them catch
and shoot shots. And then we tied up defensively on
the ball and you saw that helped us up. Then
the ball started going on the other end for us,
which is very good. We've got to get to the rim.

(01:27:04):
I think we're eighty eight for eleven at the rim
right now, so we're scoring at the rim. We've got
to do that a little bit more play inside out
our offense get a little bogged up on the perimeter
a little bit. We've got to attack a little bit
more and if we can get some stop, some rebounds
and pushing transition Down'm looking on some things too.

Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
Coach, appreciate the time, good luck, Thank you. Coach Tragie
here with us at halftime.

Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
You heard it. There a lot of back and forth.

Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
It was d'm a slow start for DYSU twenty one
point fifteen, trailed the first seven minutes, and then that's
where omah just they did not miss. They kept on
making everything from the outside Glover, Sutton and White. They
were locked in pretty much automatic. But then percentages even
now seeing mindy as you could keep getting the rim,
like coach Straggi said, they were able to get downhill,

(01:27:49):
make some good shots at the rim, get some backdoor cuts,
and the NDSU started making shots of their own as well.
Fifty seven percent to the meal for DYESU only turn
it over three times, and most of those kind of
came in the opening stages of the game. Once they
were able to get settled in make some stops, they
came back within to tie the game and now they're

(01:28:10):
within four at the break. As we mentioned, leading scorers
eleven apiece for Omaha from White, Sun and Glover, four
points from Montakane and Osburn as well. Ten points for
Jakari to lead the Byson, eight points from Bason Millar,
seven points from Jackson Bony.

Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
Those are the top three leading scorers for in DSU.

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
What's gonna come down to the second half see if
NDSU can come on the road and knock off the
first place team and the seven League Omaha in nine
and one, the Byson at six and.

Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
More and looking to get in the road weekend sweep
as well.

Speaker 1 (01:28:46):
They won on Thursday night at Kansas City and if
they win here they'll make things really interesting at the
top of the seven League standings with just six more
games to play, earth more games to play after this
one before we get to suit balls in March. In
the Seven League Tournament, Buyson huddle up on the floor.

(01:29:09):
It'll be the starters once again to begin a second half. Watkins, Mason, Miller, White,
Money and Fetterson. Same thing for Omaha, White, Osburn, Son,
Thomas and Onta Kanie Buyson in gold, trend in green,
Omaha and White trimmed in black and Omaha will start

(01:29:31):
with the mall to start in the second half. He'll
move from left to right. As you listen, Bison will
match up mad de Man. Here's JJ White at the point,
dribbling between the rings. Left wing, Thomas into the post,
a lob for Onta. Khane catches deep in the paint.
Backs is Loston on the baseline. It's stolen away by
Watkins and the Byason't haven't turnover here. They come from
right to left in transition Jakari moving out. Tom bounces

(01:29:54):
into high post for money and a whistle as he
was wrapped around by Thomas. This will be a foul
on Omaha. Foul on Cameron Thomas. That will be the
first on Omaha. This half the first on Thomas buys
an inbound from the left baseline Watkins right corner.

Speaker 2 (01:30:12):
Miller fires a quick figure three.

Speaker 1 (01:30:14):
No Good off the offensive rebound Fenderson no outside for Watkins.
He drives off a shot, fake, gives it up for
no underneath. His shot blocked, gets it back of the paint.
Noah goes up one more time and baked it up.

Speaker 2 (01:30:26):
No Good.

Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
Want a whistle for a foul on Omaha. Great effort
by Noah. Fenderson inside he drives the or draws.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
The foul, and he'll go to the line and shoot two.

Speaker 1 (01:30:38):
Nineteen to twenty seven remaining in the ball game, and
this will be the first free throw for either team.
Noah Fenderson at the line left, He zones in, dribbles
the ball, puts it up.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
And misses off the front of the rim. No good.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Not too many fouls in the first half. Neither team's
out a free throw in the opening half. And now Noah,
oh for one, He'll get one more. A big fellow
from a Nominee Wisconsin sixty three percent on the year,
puts it up.

Speaker 2 (01:31:09):
It is good.

Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
He goes one for two and the Bison are back
within three. It's forty one to thirty eight. Opening minute
of the second half. White on the right sideline for Omaha,
moves it over to Sutton left corner, Osburn left baseline.
Josh Streit straight tosses out to Osbourne, shuffles left wing

(01:31:32):
three good Tony Osburn knocks down the triple the tenth
of the game for Omaha, and they lead it again
by six, forty four to thirty eight, and the Bison
lost it at the other end to steal by JJ
White from left to right at the right elbow outside
for Osburn, fire straight away three, rattles it home Osburn

(01:31:55):
with his second Maine three the eleventh four Omaha and
the ISA aren't down by nine, just like that. Eighteen
thirty eight to play Jacari on the right side of
the key. Jacari right corner, Benderson right foul and extended
mony Bony facing up Money backing in on Sutton with
a left hand dribble. Had it poked away. Now regathers

(01:32:15):
nine to shoot. They whip it around Watkins over the
left wing for White five to shoot. Jacari on the
left side with three to shoot, pumps up a three
not left side in the rebound foot four and a
whistle for a foul on Omaha on Sutton. Foul on
Sutton who was jousting with Money, and they went crashing

(01:32:35):
to the floor. Hard foul by Sutton as Jackson took
the root of the contact. And it'll be the second
team foul on Omaha first on Suckon. He did not
like the call, very frustrated and now with the officials
doing the Omaha bench to quiet down and sit down

(01:32:57):
on the forehead. Eighteen fifteen remains forty seven thirty eight
Bison down by nine. Bony right block extended, getting down inside,
puts it up on the left hand and scores Jackson.

Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Mooney with his nine point in the game.

Speaker 1 (01:33:10):
Bison within seven forty seven to forty two minutes into
the second half, here's straight out top hands it off
to Thomas Thomas on the right wing, driving into the paint.
Thomas lost it. Pederson trying to scoop it up. It's
out of bounds off of Thomas. Last, it'll go the
other way to Andy su What this fifty to fifty

(01:33:30):
Petterson was lying down on the floor basically with his
back almost out of bounds, and then Thomas was the
one who hit it. Last came off of Noah, off
of Thomas and the Byson take over. Seventeen to fifty
one remaining Watkins over to Federson, weaving it out top
for Bony left wing.

Speaker 2 (01:33:50):
Miller.

Speaker 1 (01:33:51):
Now they pitch it out top to Bony. Bony left
wing driving down matched up with Thomas. Bony trying to
find his way the left side of the lane, working
into the paint, moves it up with the right hand
bank shot. No good rebound, my Osburn, no foul calls.
Here comes Omaha from left to right. Thomas steps into
a right wing three good.

Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
Omaha with their twelve three in the.

Speaker 1 (01:34:15):
Game, and the Bison are down by ten fifteen to forty,
double digit deficit, with seventeen fifteen remaining money left the key.
Boney driving down left block extended one on one with
Ston moves into the paint, stripped away by Osburn, but
a whistle for a reaching foul on Osburn. That'll be
a third one on the Mavericks. Second on Osburn who

(01:34:39):
is trying to dig at Mooney in the paint. The
Bison now having him bound from the right baseline, seventeen
oh seven to go, loop it in for Jakari right
to the lane left wing Feederson Pederson driving down dishes.

Speaker 2 (01:34:53):
Right corner three from Miller, got it Mason, Miller knocks
it down.

Speaker 1 (01:34:57):
Is an eleventh point of the game and the bys
are within seven fifty to forty three under seventeen remaining
in the game. Here's Sutton on the left wing. He'll
fire at three clanks, no good rebound by Money. Here
comes the Bison from right to left. Moony dribbling out
of the front court. Money high on the left side,
one on one with Sutton clears the Jacari White Jacari

(01:35:18):
working off Sutton on the switch right foul line extended,
tosses back to Watkins out top for Mony, bony right
in the key back door, bounced past for White, knocked
away by Thomas into the hands of Jakari, gives it
up to Watkins. Watkins left baseline drive outside money right
wing three short off the front of the ramp and
a rebound taken by White sixteen fifteen to go Buyson

(01:35:42):
trail fifteen to forty three. And here's Omaha on the
front court right with White on the left wing. White
holding high on his right shoulder, hooks it down for
Osburn left corner, driving in baseline. Now he skips it
to Sutton, angling in for the right wing. Stalling away
by Mason Miller. Miller right in the front court driving
to the basket left hand lay up. No good, and
I worry about my Osburn.

Speaker 2 (01:36:03):
On the trail.

Speaker 1 (01:36:04):
Here comes Omaha left to right, White driving inside left
block and a whistle for a foul on the floor
against the Bison. Foul will go on Mason Miller. That'll
be Mason's second first on the Bison. In the second half.
Time out on the floor break in the action with
our score Omaha fifty the Bison forty three fifteen forty

(01:36:25):
seven remaining.

Speaker 1 (01:37:45):
Count on First Western Bank and trust you can bank
on us Omaha fifteen the Bison forty three fifteen forty seven.

Speaker 2 (01:37:54):
Remaining on the Coaches Choice scoreboard.

Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
Sam Diederman with you court sign and DSU trailed by
as many as thirteen in the first half, they rallied
back to tie it at thirty seven to Omaha scored
the final four points and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:38:07):
They went up forty one.

Speaker 1 (01:38:08):
To thirty seven at the break, and then the Bison
had to endure a couple of four threes made by
the Mavericks to begin the second half.

Speaker 2 (01:38:16):
Tony Osburn with two of them.

Speaker 1 (01:38:18):
They've made twelve of twenty from downtown Ohaha compared to
the Bison eight of nineteen from three point range. Mason
Miller's had three threes of the game. He leads the
way with eleven points for Indiazu, and his latest downtown
hit got the Bison within seven. And now the Bison
we'll get ready to defend an inbound here from Omaha

(01:38:41):
in the front court right, it'll be White to deal
it in. Mason Miller's shading the inbound. White standing on
the A and Mavericks fines Glover in the left corner.
Glover one on one with White moving left elbow, right
hand dribble backing his way in the paint turnaround jumper
is good. Whistle count it plus the foul found on

(01:39:04):
Jacari White, who is trying to guard Glover. He muscled
his way into the lane and hit a turnaround jumper
from about thirteen feet and they whistled Jakari for the foul.
So that means the Glover's join to the line for
the three point play. Glover at the line right eighty
one percent and he misses off the front of the rim.

Speaker 2 (01:39:27):
No good. He does not complete the three point play.

Speaker 1 (01:39:29):
Bison within nine fifty two forty three, fifteen and a
half minutes to play, and it's the final what's the
right of the game, left of the key, Mason Miller,
left of the lane. Jackson Mody working on Josh straight
faces up, takes him down to the baseline.

Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
Now trying to.

Speaker 1 (01:39:44):
Dribble in with the right hand, gets across the paint,
puts it up on the right hand. No good rebound
foot four and it's out of bounds off of Omaha ass.

Speaker 2 (01:39:52):
He'll stay with the Bison. Omaha fans not happy with
the call.

Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
Is the Bison keep possession and they'll base our inbound
from the baseline right Stefano Whitz pops it in for Jacari,
brings it out to the point. Jacari left wing for
money money, sizing up straight shot fake lost it poked
away and Glover comes away with a steel and in
the hands of Wattles on the left wing into the
post looking for Glover or excuse me for Sutton. Sutton

(01:40:22):
on the left baseline working on descent, backing him in.
He uh spins into the help loss it on the
deck off of a knee and the official will say
a foul on bony, foul on body. They'll be Jackson's
first third team foul against the Bison, and Omaha will

(01:40:48):
now imbound left the basket. White loops it in for
straight Straight hands it back to White and he angles
into the lane, steps through right hand finish. No good
rebound batted out by Straight but into the hands of Descent.
Bison have it with fourteen forty four remaining, trailing by
nine fifty two forty three. Stefano HiT's driving to the

(01:41:11):
foul line, gives it up for White left wing. Three
got deflected on the way there. Jakari didn't get the
foul call. It was an air ball and the same
by Mony goes out of bounds and go the other
way to Almaha. Bison haven't scored in two minutes and
we're down by nine fifty two.

Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
To forty three.

Speaker 1 (01:41:33):
Omaha the first place team in the summit, leading the
Bison as they control from left to right. JJ White,
the point guard, bounces into the post for clubb puts
it up with the left hand and scores fifty four
forty three. Bison down by eleven. Stefano WIT's into the
front court, peering over to his left, high on the
left side, high post for Mooning Bony left wing for Miller.

(01:41:57):
Miller working on the wattles down low for Mony. Mony
pumps a pass. Fake now gets into those post move
right hand, dribble into the paint, working on strike steps through,
puts it off on the right hand hand, scores. Jackson
Money knocks down his eleventh point down the bisoner with
n single legits again fifty four to forty five.

Speaker 2 (01:42:16):
Thirteen fifty to play.

Speaker 1 (01:42:18):
White bounce passing for Glover right short corner, jabbing on
Jakari with the left hand dribble backing him in right
in the lane. Double team comes from Mony Glover outside
for White right wing three on the way long backside
rebound by straight left wing Wattles, Wattles driving in left block.

Speaker 2 (01:42:36):
He puts up a floater.

Speaker 1 (01:42:37):
It's knocked out of bounds off of the Bison last NOA.
Fenderson will check in.

Speaker 23 (01:42:44):
And and.

Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
He's the final which will come out for the Bison.
Still it bounds coming from White left in the basket.
He finds Wattles down in the left corner. Wattles bounces
for strike on the interior, faking left, puts it up
and he missed it fake to the right, put it
up left, and now the bid is gonna have the rebound.

(01:43:08):
Here comes Jakari into the front court between the rings,
driving Downhill, stops on his pivot foot outside Feederson Federson
high post for Mony.

Speaker 2 (01:43:15):
Mony weaves it over to White. White d three on
the right side. Got it. Jacari.

Speaker 1 (01:43:20):
White knocks it down from wins the right wing and
it's his thirteenth point of the game. Buys it quickly
within six fifty four forty eight. Here's something right of
the key with under thirteen to play the left of
the key for Glover. Glover driving down a left baseline,

(01:43:42):
throws it in traffic for straight and a whistle.

Speaker 2 (01:43:45):
For a foul fow on the Bison. This will be
the fourth on endsu this half. It's on. Derek just said.
That'll be Derek's first.

In gold Omaha defending in White.

Speaker 1 (02:11:07):
It's Jacarry White at the mid court logo with twenty
four points to lead all scorers. He drives down left
of the lane, now turns back out to the left,
elbow back outside the arc, moves over to his right.
Jacari is still working on Globb. Jacari with nine on
the shot clock. Jacary moving over to the point inside
from one. He puts it up, Man bakes it up,
no good rebound, fumbled around.

Speaker 2 (02:11:28):
It's loose on the deck.

Speaker 1 (02:11:29):
Whistle and they'll say Omaha ball, Omaha ball, as Mason
Miller was scrapping for it.

Speaker 2 (02:11:37):
But he's whistled for a foul.

Speaker 1 (02:11:39):
Third on Mason Miller and now a ninth on the
Bison as a team, and that means that Omaha will
have free throws at the other end. Osbourne was the
one who got hit by Miller scrapping for the loose ball,
so he'll have one in one at the line.

Speaker 7 (02:11:57):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:11:58):
He is eighty five percent at the line and this
will be his first free throw attempt of the day.
Veerson and Mody anchoring on a low block one in one,
Osburn zones in front end is up banned.

Speaker 2 (02:12:12):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (02:12:13):
Seventy four to sixty nine. Bison down by five. They
came back within one to force the time out from
Omaha at sixty nine to sixty eight. It's a five
to one stretch in favor of the Mavericks since and
you can now make it six to one as Osburn
gets the front roll on the second he makes both
free throws. Bison down by six seventy five sixty nine,

(02:12:35):
one point fifty remaining in regulation. Watkins at the right elbow.
Watkins clears out to Jakari Jakari between the rings, driving
puts them along right wing three. No good rebound leaks
in the corner and it's taken by Osburn.

Speaker 2 (02:12:49):
Omaha with a stop. Bison come up empty.

Speaker 1 (02:12:52):
Dsu will need a stop with one thirty two to go,
but the Omaha fans on their feet nineteen to shoot,
and here's Sutton high on the left side, hands it
off to Osburn right in the key for straight straight
holds on the right wing ten to shoot, gives it
up to Glover. Glover working on Jakari six to shoot.
Glover outside for Osburn, Dave three on the way and

(02:13:15):
he knocks it down. His spent three of the game
is twenty fit point seventy eight sixty nine.

Speaker 2 (02:13:22):
Byson down by nine. One minute to play.

Speaker 1 (02:13:25):
Walkint streaks of the basket lays it up good with
the right hand and a timeout quickly taken by Dave Richmond.
Fifty nine point one seconds remaining, seventy eight to seventy one,
Bison within seven now plenty of time remaining at NDSU.
Taking the timeout, they'll have a chance to set up
the full court press. Coming out of the break, Bison

(02:13:47):
will take a thirty second timeout, so they have one
more remaining Omaha with two timeouts remaining, here's your game reset.
It's Omaha seventy eight Bison seventy one win, one seconds
to go. Possession arrow in favor of Omaha. So the

(02:14:23):
Bison will have Derek Dessant Luke Kasuke in on this
sequence so they can guard on defense and he is
you down by seven, Bison are in the bonus. Seventeen
fouls against Omaha, nineteen thousand against the Biason. That means
the next one puts Omaha on the line shooting two

(02:14:43):
of the double bonus. Omaha about to inbound from left
to right. Bony is going to come in for Kasubki. Actually,
so Mony re enters a game, and mind you, he
is playing with four fouls. Globber can run the baseline
hard cut to his left back to his right mind
Sutton in the corner and he's immediately fouled by descent
fifty eight point two seconds to go. And now after

(02:15:06):
that foul, Sutton will go to the other end and
shoot two free throws. Ten team foul on the Bison,
seven point deficit for NDSU on the road.

Speaker 2 (02:15:21):
At Omaha and Sutton at the line right.

Speaker 1 (02:15:28):
He is one for two on foul shots today seventy
two percent on the year, and his first one is
good seventy nine seventy one. Brendan Watkins will check in.
Derek de Sett comes out offense for defense as Sutton
prepares for one more free throw. Seventy nine seventy one.

(02:15:49):
Bison trail by eight with fifty eight seconds remaining. Arena
watches on as Stton puts up his second, it's good.
Eighty to seventy one, out by nine with fifty eight
seconds to play. Imbounds comes to Watkins. Here comes NDSU
from right to left, Watkins into the front court. Watkins

(02:16:09):
over to the right side of the key, picks up
his dribble, throws an inside for Mony, cutting wrap around
feet Pederson off of Bony's or off of Pederson's chest
and out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (02:16:19):
A turnover for NDSU.

Speaker 1 (02:16:21):
They'll give it back with forty seven point five seconds remaining.
Now they're actually going to take a look at it
on the monitor and review for possession. The call on
the floors off of Endiusu last the official tempt his chest,
motioning that it went off of Noah's chest and out

(02:16:41):
of bounds. I'll have to take a look at the
monitor and see if they can reverse it. That would
be very welcome to here for ENDSU. But at the moment,
Dave Richmond in the huddle with his team, they're going
to try and set up for the full court press.
With forty seven and a half seconds remaining, it's eighty
to seventy one to Omaha.

Speaker 2 (02:17:00):
On the Coach's Choice scoreboard.

Speaker 1 (02:17:02):
Today's game brount to you in part by OLAF Anderson

your building project done right in the first time, call
OLAF Anderson at seven zero one two three seven three
six zero five or visit them online at olaf Anderson

Speaker 2 (02:17:21):
It will be Omaha ball.

Speaker 1 (02:17:22):
After further review, they keep the same call on the
floor at the Bison sent up the full court press
and the Su down by nine forty seven point five
to go. Glover winds up like he was going to
do a football pass, but now doesn't have any options
and he has to call timeout.

Speaker 2 (02:17:38):
One of two timeouts remaining for Omaha.

Speaker 1 (02:17:41):
They'll have one more now as NDSU threw him a
good look out of the timeout on the press and
both teams will regather in their huddles. Thirty second time
out by Omaha, forty seven and a half seconds to go.

Speaker 2 (02:17:54):
At the Bison are down by nine. Glad that you're
with us, Sam Niederman Here.

Speaker 1 (02:17:59):
NDSU trail by as many as thirteen in the first half.
They threw a good punch back, trailed only by four
at the break. They have not led here in the
second half, despite coming within one. It was sixty nine
to sixty eight. Omaha had to call a timeout, and
ever since it's an eleven to three run in favor
of the Mavericks, who have been red hon from downtown.

(02:18:22):
They've made fifteen threes. That's the story of the day.
The Bison have made fourteen, but it hasn't been enough
so far. Now after the timeout, Omaha will imbound underneath
the basket and they have their players run rounde says.

Speaker 2 (02:18:37):
Glover looks to bounce it in for White. He does.

Speaker 1 (02:18:39):
It's knocked down a bounds but off of Mason Miller.
It'll stay with Omaha. Stay with Omaha. Forty six point
four to go. They have nine seconds to break the timeline.
Bison set up the press again, trailing by nine eighty
to seventy one. Clover gets it in for Osburn. Osburn
immediately collared by kasub Ke and he's fouled, and that

(02:19:02):
will send Osburn to the other end to shoot two
foul on Luke Kasubke.

Speaker 2 (02:19:07):
That is his first.

Speaker 1 (02:19:08):
Bison well over the penalty and Osburn will shoot two
at the other end. Osburn leading all scores with twenty
five points. He had a massive three moments ago and
he is two for two at the foul stretch so far.
His first is good eighty one seventy one buys him

(02:19:30):
down by ten. He's nine for thirteen from the field,
five of six from three point range. He has six
rebounds and five assists as well. Osburn will get one
more he puts it up. It is good eighty two

(02:19:52):
seventy one, twenty seven points for Tony.

Speaker 2 (02:19:55):
Osburn and that's the difference.

Speaker 1 (02:19:57):
Right now is the Bison facing eleven point DeFi it
with forty five seconds remaining. They inbound from right to left.
Jacari tries to get it in for Noah Pederson. He
catches and traffic finds it back to Jakari.

Speaker 2 (02:20:11):
Three on three.

Speaker 1 (02:20:12):
He pulls up top of the key three rim glass
mass rebounds into the hands of Money. Jackson lays it
in for two and a time out taken by the Bason.
Jackson with the two and then I'll bring the Bison
within nine eighty three seven or eighty two seventy three
thirty six point one to go in regulation.

Speaker 2 (02:20:29):
Bison spent their final timeout.

Speaker 1 (02:20:31):
They have none remaining, one time out remaining for Omaha,
Omaha and the double Bonus Bison in the Single Bonus
Omaha with just seventeen vowels thirty six point one seconds
to go. Arrow favors Omaha and the Bison are down
by nine once again. They'll try and set up a
tramp or press and out of the timeout. Jacari came in,

(02:20:53):
pulled up for three, missed it offensive rebound to Money.

Speaker 2 (02:20:56):
He put it up for two.

Speaker 1 (02:21:00):
And now indsu We'll have to get a steal or
something here if they want to get back into this
with a real thread. Otherwise you're just founding Omaha and
the double bonus. They're gonna get two breethrows again, and
you gotta hope that they miss at that point. But
the clear objective is to get a steel and get
a basket and create some chaos. Luke straight in the

(02:21:24):
middle of the Bison huddle drawing up some offense. Dave
Richmond was just setting up the defense in the press. Meanwhile,
in the opposite huddle, Chris cut crutch Field in Omaha
discussing things. It's an eighty two to seventy three on
the coaches Toy scoreboard. Bison are down by nine thirty
six point one seconds to go. No more timeouts for
indys you one time out for Omaha. Omaha is in

(02:21:47):
the double bonus and the Bison are in the single
bonus with only seven fouls against Omaha. Arrow favors Omaha
and Omaha inbound from left to right. Glover will call
the break. He has four teammates in front of him
ready to run football esque rounds, and the Bison matchup
man demand. Nobody will guard the inbounder Glover looking waiting

(02:22:08):
tippy toes. He throws it in deflect it out of
bounds by kasub Key. It'll stay with Omaha nearly a
five second call. Bison had it covered well, Kasuke with
the denial, and now it looks like the officials are
going to review whether it was off Luke Last or
did it hit an Omaha player and go out of
bounds and if so, that would be huge and the

(02:22:29):
Bids will get the ball on the turnover, so they'll
look at it at the monitor, just a double check.
Bison were set up well. Glover didn't have anywhere to go.
They had five guys guarding four. He had to try
and fit it in on the right baseline. Kasuk reached
over definitely made contact with the ball. The question is

(02:22:50):
did to go off of Luke Last or did it
go off of the Omaha player off of his deflection.

Speaker 2 (02:22:56):
Officials are still looking at it on the monitor.

Speaker 1 (02:23:02):
Pet band playing on, cheerleaders watching on a crowd of
maybe a couple of thousand watching inside Baxter Arena. Eighty
two seventy three, Omaha with the lead over the Bison
with thirty five seconds remaining and we'll see what the

(02:23:25):
call is. After the officials come away from the monitor.
It's still Omaha ball. So Ndsu well once again set
up pressure. Let's see how Omaha adjusts to it. Eighty
two seventy three Omaha, thirty five point one seconds remaining,
no timeouts for the Bison. One time out remaining for Omaha.

(02:23:48):
Glover will trigger in and now six foot ten Noah
Fenderson guards the inbound, jumping up and down Glover with
a pass fake looking lombs it in for some catches
on the sideline and he's found by Jakar with thirty
three point nine seconds remaining.

Speaker 2 (02:24:03):
Foul on Jakari.

Speaker 1 (02:24:05):
That'll be his second Bison well over the limit, so
that means double bonus and two free throws for Markel Sutton.
Sutton will get two, and he is eighteen points on
the afternoon, three of four at the line so far.

(02:24:25):
First one on the way and no good. He clanked
it off the rim and the Bison still trail by
nine three eighty two seventy three, thirty three seconds remaining.
Sutton will get one more after missing the first. He
dribbles zones in Benzanese, puts it up and it is good.

(02:24:48):
He makes one of two and it's a ten point game.
Bison trail eighty three seventy three thirty three point nine
to go in bounce to Watkins. Bison have to go
Watkins across the time, stripe Watkins on the right side
of the key. Watkins to Mony and a whistle before
the shot. A foul on the floor and we'll go
against Omaha. Foul on Sutton who ran into Jacari. It'll

(02:25:11):
be Sotton second team's eighth and that means Jakari will
get one in one. With a clock stopped at twenty
six seconds, Derek de san Lukasuki getting ready to check in.

Speaker 2 (02:25:23):
Watkins will come out and sold Jackson money.

Speaker 1 (02:25:27):
Jacari, we'll get one in one here needs to make
the first to earn a second. With the Bison down
by ten and twenty six point seven seconds remaining, the
first from Jakari is good and it's eighty three seventy four.
Buyson back within nine. He'll get one more and then
the Bison will try and press again. Jacari Benzonees puts

(02:25:49):
it up.

Speaker 2 (02:25:49):
It is no good. He missed it and.

Speaker 1 (02:25:51):
Rebound taken by Sutton and Noah Pederson with no choice
but to vowel. Twenty five point seven seconds remaining, Sutton
will walk down on the other end and shoot two.

Speaker 2 (02:26:03):
How do you even get to the middle of flour.

Speaker 1 (02:26:07):
The plan would have been for Jakara to make it
and then the Bison could have sent up the press again,
but instead it was a miss. Sutton got the rebound
and with NDSU already over the limit, he'll get two more.

Speaker 2 (02:26:20):
Here's the first one. It's good.

Speaker 1 (02:26:23):
Eighty four to seventy four, ten point game once again,
with twenty five points seven seconds remaining, Watkins and Money
back in to set and Casoup keep back out. Sutton
will get one more. He has twenty points on the afternoon.

(02:26:43):
Here comes the second one.

Speaker 2 (02:26:45):
It's good. He makes them both this time. Eighty five
to seventy four.

Speaker 1 (02:26:49):
Byson trail by eleven, twenty five points twenty five seconds
rau of the remaining of the game. Watkins left of
the key. Watkins passes over on the left wing for White.

Speaker 36 (02:26:59):
It was.

Speaker 2 (02:27:00):
Wide pass. It's out of pounds and then I'll.

Speaker 1 (02:27:03):
Turn it over to Omaha. Bison instructed not to foul
by Dave Richmond. With eighteen seconds remaining, eighty five seventy
four the Bias are going to come up short here
on the road against the first place team in the
Summer League. They get the inbound into JJ White and
the Bison back off. They will not foul, much to

(02:27:25):
the pleasure of this Omaha home crowd. NDSU trailed by
as many as thirteen. They fought to get it within
one in the final minutes, but Omaha closed the things
out and they win.

Speaker 2 (02:27:37):
Their tenth and eleven conference games.

Speaker 1 (02:27:39):

Welcome back inside Backster Arena here in Omaha, Nebraska, and
the Bison falls short against Omaha this afternoon eighty five
to seventy four.

Speaker 2 (02:30:28):
The final score.

Speaker 1 (02:30:30):
Samnederman with you as we begin our ric Electric postgame show. Unfortunately,
the Pison just weren't able to get over the hump
against the Mavericks. It was back and forth in the
first seven to eight minutes. Then Omaha really got hot
from downtown. They led by thirteen. Byson tied up the
game at thirty seven. Omaha went up by forty one

(02:30:50):
thirty seven at the half, and then Omaha continued it's
hot shooting in the second half, Bison were able to rally.
They used an eleven to two run to get back
within sixty nine sixty eight, but Omaha would win the
final few minutes.

Speaker 2 (02:31:03):
After that. They finished the game on a sixteen to six.

Speaker 1 (02:31:08):
Run and that was enough for their tenth win in
the last eleven games here in conference play. The Mavericks
moved to ten to one in league and the Bison
are now six and five and the issue splits the
road trip win on Thursday against Kansas City, but just
not enough here against Omaha on Saturday. The Bison ultimately

(02:31:33):
allowed Omaha to shoot fifty percent from the floor fifty
three percent from beyond the arc, and that was the
determining factor. Omaha hit fifteen threes. They had four players
who made three threes or more, including Tony Osburn, who
was the game's leading scorer at twenty seven points five
of six from long range. The Bison made fourteen threes

(02:31:56):
of their own. They shot forty six percent from the floor,
but just not enough to counter what Omaha had that
ended up being the difference in the game.

Speaker 2 (02:32:07):
There was a long three by Osburn.

Speaker 1 (02:32:10):
When it was in that sixty nine to sixty eight
range that kind of ended up being the clutch moment
of the game, and ultimately the Bison just not able
to overcome and mount to comeback despite getting a couple
of decent looks on the full court press. They were
in the double bonus Omaha was so every time NDSU
found him and two free throws at the other end,

(02:32:32):
the Mavericks made the majority of those free throws. They
finished twelve of fifteen at the line. From the free
throw line, the Bison, meanwhile just four of eight. Omaha
won the rebounding battle thirty to twenty five as well.
So unfortunately, NDSU comes up short eighty five to seventy four,
the final score here at Baxter Arena. We'll here with

(02:32:55):
coach Richmond here in just a second, as NDSU comes
up short four let's pause ten seconds for station identification.
You're listening to Bison basketball back here in Omaha, eighty

(02:33:17):
five seventy four of the final. The Bison come up
short today against Omaha, and we're joined now by coach
Richmond here postgame coach, appreciating the time, just a little
bit short this afternoon, what's going through your mind?

Speaker 7 (02:33:29):
Yeah, I just.

Speaker 11 (02:33:31):
Know we've talked to our guys a lot about protecting
the house and protecting the paint defensively. And is that
slowed us down a little bit because obviously you go
back and you look at the Saint Thomas game on Sunday,
you know, less than a week ago, and in this
game this afternoon, these teams are coming out really aggressive,
really confident against us, and we've got to continue to
evaluate things, make sure we've got the right people out

(02:33:51):
there at the right times, you know, to fight. You know,
we were good enough offensively today, but we got to
be better defensive. We've got to be better finishing.

Speaker 2 (02:34:02):
Possessions defensively, Coach.

Speaker 1 (02:34:04):
They were able to make fifteen threes, a lot went
in in the first half, and they made some timely
ones there in the second.

Speaker 7 (02:34:09):
Yeah, that's just exactly what I was just talking about.

Speaker 11 (02:34:11):
You know, we've got to be able to control the
ball a little bit better, get in and out of
our gaps and get to those shooters and contest better.

Speaker 1 (02:34:18):
Coach, appreciate the time, Thank you think so coach Richmond

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
