Blockchain es la tecnología que nos permite generar evidencias digitales de las cosas que pasan a nuestro alrededor. Todo lo que mandamos a Blockchain, se convierte en inmutable. Es decir, no se puede cambiar o reescribir la historia. Imaginaros que cada 5 minutos medimos la temperatura de una habitación. Si nos equivocamos al escribir una de las medidas, podemos escribir a continuación que en la entrada original nos hemos equivocado y escribir lo correcto, pero las dos entradas quedarán para siempre.
Nadie podrá leer la entrada buena sin saber que previamente había una mala. Y lo que es más importante, cualquiera que lo lea sabrá cuando y quien escribió tanto la entrada correcta como la mala. Pero ¿y si en vez de una toma de temperatura registramos un título académico? Todos podemos comprobar quien y cuando lo emitió. Nadie puede mentir a posteriori sin que lo sepamos sobre el contenido (las calificaciones) o la fecha en que se emitió el título.
