Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome on into the Nontendo Podcast. Welcome final episode, the
dawn of a week left before the Nintendo switch to
I'm joined by Ham maxim Bingle once again because we
had so much fun last week. Comments that were like, Oh,
I forgot how good the show is when everyone's together.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Then love the Peanut Gallery.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Me too, That's what I wanted, That's what I wanted. Yeah,
we have a lot to talk about today, but mostly
it's just the final week. It's just waiting until the
Switch two comes out, so we can just kind of chill.
I think we can just kind of chill, but also
we have some things to talk about also, starting with
hands leaping.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, I'm really sick.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Of doing an episode one week and then having the
person i'm doing the show with after the episode say,
by the way, I'm done.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, I mean, listen, dog, I just got stuff going on. Man,
I'm very busy. I'm sorry, blew up your spot. Yeah
a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I'm sorry. Ham h.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Ham can't talk about why he's leaving the show.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
But it's not a joke. He's he's leaving.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, I'm going to jail, that's what's happening.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
He's fired and we're not supposed to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
He actually isn't even supposed to talk about anything.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeh h reasons.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
But this will be the last episode already.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Well it's not okay, it is it's unfortunate timing. There's
just like a lot of stuff that's like moving fast
from me right now. Uh, And I've got I got
some stuff coming up. All will be revealed to people
in due time.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
It's good and it's exciting and I'm really happy for
you and I love you.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I love you too. Man.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
We we we thought there'd be an episode next week,
but I've decided there won't be an episode next week,
which might seem in saying because the switch too comes
out next week, I know. But uh, they've got this
YouTube channel, I got Beat Them Ups, and there is
like this divide where I need to I need to
hone my efforts in somewhere, and just for that week,
I'm gonna hone them in on Beat them Ups and
(02:15):
I'm gonna be live anyway.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Which by the way, I'll be there for like yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
That's what I was getting to.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
So Ham's gonna come back next week and we're gonna
stream together the the what am I looking for the
buying it, the getting release, what the midnight release?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Thank you? So we're doing that together.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
We'll be doing someone boxing together that day, and then
on the Thursday, I'll be playing Mariocard all day, so
there won't be an episode. So this is the Yeah,
you're right, the last one.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yeah, I'm sad to say.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
I Yeah, it sucks.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I wish I could tell people more. Yeah, I can
be able to say more, like during the live next week.
I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
So you always.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Uh, we would always phone in and talk about it later. Yeah, yeah,
but I'll say that.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Uh, I didn't.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
I didn't think about what I was going to say
because I didn't know we're going to talk about it today.
I just decided we were going to.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
When when when Bob left, it was obviously a gut
wrenching time where I figured the show was over.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I figured the show was over. I didn't really know.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I mean I quit at the same time as him, essentially,
and then I just didn't want to see the show go.
So I tried to do something different up there in
Brooklyn with these guys.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I mean, Max was their hand, was there, he was there.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
You guys have an issues with they're all doing they're
doing little sillies.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
I just wanted to know of that because I'm hearing
a crackle. I think it might just be my headphones.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Oh, we didn't check any of the microphone No, we did.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
We didn't know me.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I would tell you, guys.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
I was, Yeah, I'm getting a crackle, but I think
it's just my headphones.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
It's fine. So go ahead and hear him in that one. Well,
maybe I can. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Just go ahead and talk. It's very it's very, very.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Very Maybe no, it's not. Max.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Could you check all of the Excel x l outputs
and make sure they're not resting on power cords?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
You got it?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, I'm already fired.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
By the way, we usually check that, and we forgot.
If any of the xlrs are touching power cords, it'll
make weird popping sounds and crackles. Ethernet's a fine. Data
chords are fine, but power cords you want to look
out for. Yeah, and if you hear it, stop.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
You'll know. No.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Hold on real quick, I'm gonna chat.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Can you hear it? What?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Wait? Would keep keeping this? Might this might mute you,
but I think it might have been the Phantom Power.
Can you talk again?
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Would testing one two three? Testing one two three? Am
I coming through?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
It's still doing it. Okay, it's very very subtle. It's
very subtle. But I know so I know you're going
to complain about it later.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Oh yeah, people can hear it. I'm going to complain
about it.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yeah, I don't know's I mean? People in chat are
saying audio is great, so I don't. I don't know, man,
I don't know what to believe anymore.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
I hear it's great for me, it's good, and no
one hears a crackle.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
I'm going to keep going.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
I don't dare any crackles.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, something said they heard a discord sound. But that's
that's over. That's that PC.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
So I tried doing it in Brooklyn, and then that
fell through when we couldn't figure out using the studio anymore. Essentially,
it was a mix of me not wanting to drive
up there every week, and then because of that, not
being able to figure out anything with the studio that
made sense long term.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
So then it got it was just my house.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Right, which is something I never wanted to do, And
at that point I wanted to quit the show and
I was saying to Kim and to Ham around that
time that I'm done, Like I never wanted to do
it at the house, but Ham was insistent in trying
to make it work and said that he would drive
down every week for the show, which I know how
painful that is because I did it for like a
year and a half the other direction, and if it
(05:54):
wasn't for him, legitimately, the show would have ended again,
like I would not have done it without you. I
couldn't done it without you. There were literally weeks where
it was just you and me.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
And give myself a lower third right now.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
There were literally weeks when it was just you and me,
and I can't do the show on my own, Like
I just can't sit here on my own and talk
on my own.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, I mean, it's good to have somebody to bounce
off it. For sure.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
You're driving down, coming up with ideas for the show,
helping out. I mean, Max was obviously over in Brooklyn
doing his best at helping too, But it was you
coming down and giving me someone to talk to that
made this possible and viable and everyone watching. And I
appreciate that a lot, because, yeah, the show would have
ended for a third time in my mind.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Well, I mean it would be the third time for
like like with me, I wouldn't it have been the
second time?
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Second time? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Whatever, semantics doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Now is the third time? Yeah? I can't be.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yeah one pm am I right?
Speaker 3 (06:57):
So can we show those tweets.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Messages? Let's just let's just we don't have to show.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I'll do it in a second because that was the
whole thing. But anyway, we'll talk about it more. It's
not because of any disagreements on.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
The show or anything. There's a very obvious, very obvious
thing that's happening.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, people, he can't announce it here of all places.
So yeah, that's that, and I love him and I'm
going to miss him. As far as the show, once again,
I was like, I guess it's over.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I guess it's gg roll the curtains.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
But then Max started text texting me and one was
like I could come down every week and then without
throwing Bingle under the bus and having him commit to anything,
because don't commit to anything until you're ready. But Bingle
was also talking about you know, well I'm I'm already
in Brooklyn, can come down.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
So there's the boys are here. The boys are here.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
You know, we could maybe keep this show rolling, but
we'll see this show is it's very important to me.
It's uh if, it's very important to me, and I
don't want it to end. And as long as I
have someone to talk to and people listening, I will
keep doing this for as long as I can. I
was saying to Ham and Max in a jewel vial
(08:17):
joking way. It is so humorous to me that we
have here one of the most if not the most
successful Nintendo podcast right yeah. It's always in top ten
of like gaming Apple charts and everything, and that's because
of you people listening at home. And I cannot keep
anyone on the show like I can. Like I don't
want to say no one wants to do this show
(08:38):
with me because it's not the situation. But it's like, man,
what to do with it?
Speaker 2 (08:45):
It's just tough. I think it's logistic. It's only just logistics.
It's not because like, dude, if if you live like
around the corner from me, right yeah, I wouldn't even
think twice, like I just be here all the damn time,
you know, so it wouldn't even be a problem. But
you know, there's there's a lot that goes. I have
to take a whole day out of every week to like,
you know, yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
And I've also been very stubborn about not wanting to
do anything remotely as well.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yes, And I think that maybe people give you, maybe
people give you too much shit for that, right for
thinking that, like, oh, it'll be fine if you do
it remotely.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
It's not of it.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
But I totally get.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Where you're coming. I don't want it. I don't want it.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
There's a whole different vibe to having a remote call
for a podcast as opposed to having people in the
same studio.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
You know.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yes, it's just not what I want to do, you know,
I like the vibe of this more. Also, there's a
reason why, like we're in top ten of you know, charts.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
And stuff like that. It's because we do it in person.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
It's because we have production quality and value, and it's
because of the conversations we have.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
When we're in person and more alive and more electric.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Right.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Sure, there's a thousand, hundreds of thousands of shows out
there that sit in discord and that's fine for them,
but it's just not what I want to do.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, it's it's different. Our vibe is different because when
would or I get mad at each other, there's always
the threat that one of us could jump over the
table and strangle that.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Well, it's mostly me wanting to jump. That's true. That's
very true, camera real quick.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
It's also on discord calls, everyone talks over each other
like at some point it's.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Just creates such like a human aspect of the conversation.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, yeah, true.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
So yeah, that's it anyway, loving the chat for him.
I wish I could see the chat.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
I'm not uh, I got I got the chat up.
People have been very nice. I appreciate everybody's saying. By
the way, and somebody did ask if Ham has a
Somebody asked if Ham has a channel or something. Yeah,
I stream on Twitch. I don't hit the low thud
already did I'll do it again. Yeah, I didn't know that.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (10:46):
I didn't know that it was happening this week, Otherwise
I would have got you something.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Oh it's fine, Well, i'll see you next week anyways,
So I'll be expecting. I'll be expecting my gift. Where
does our coffee?
Speaker 3 (10:58):
All right?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
So it's delivered Oh, it's probably out front there. Yeah,
do you mind? You know where the front door is.
Just be real careful about Simon. Don't let the cat out.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I have a cat that likes escape artists.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
And don't lock yourself out. I did that last time.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
And you can hand Kim. She had a couple of
things in there too. She had at a little bit
at little Sammy. Yes, thank you, my friend.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
All right, Yeah, that's that.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Also, speaking of people leaving, now's a great time to
sub where at a thousand to go to go to
get one hundred thousand, We can do it by next
week if everyone watching right now that isn't subbed, subbed,
we could get one hundred thousand before this switch too. Yes, sir,
this is the last episode of the Switch one era.
(11:45):
You realize that this whole show has been in the
Switch one era.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
This is the last one. It's a paradigm shift, is
what it is? So exciting?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
All right, Well, where to begin? I guess we can
just begin with this nice little splash screen that Nintendo
posted up over on the the Nintendo Today app, I guess,
and then someone shared it to Twitter. Mm hmm, I
mean it's it's just what it is yeah, it's been
one wait, yeah, that's it. That's it what they share,
that's what we're looking for.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
It's going to be one week. How are we? Like?
Speaker 1 (12:15):
How how excited are you guys? I don't know if
Ham's even getting it on launch?
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Well?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Oh no, I am you are.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
No.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I have one of my viewers is like very one
of my viewers slash moderators on Twitch is like very
very generous guy. Uh and he's like, I want to
see you playing Mario Kart World no matter what. So like,
I'm just gonna get you the switch to send it
to your pure box. So this comment shouts out to Benji.
This comment here is wild the first one I saw.
I copped a Steam deck, so I'll pass to those
(12:44):
who didn't as well enjoy the switch to I guess
that's just Twitter right there.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, that is just Twitter.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
I So yesterday I did a podcast episode pre recorded
with Scott Dawaz and Swan Wave and we were talking
about like how hyped we are for the console and
like how we feel about launch day. Yeah, and we
all talked about how the negativity of Twitter and online
around this release and everything. Nintendo has done everything it
(13:11):
can to ruin the excitement. Yeah, like every single time
I look on Twitter, it's never anyone excited.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
The landscape of the Internet, by the way, put that
discord in stream re mode because it we're getting pins.
The landscape of the Internet has changed significantly since the
last Switch release, you know, like the like the Internet's
gotten a lot more toxic and a lot more leaky,
and a lot more you know, I don't know you
understand what I'm saying. It's a very different vibe.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
So everybody's always make sure.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
You're not showing the address on that there, bud, you know,
I don't know if it's on it or not.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
The Starbucks. I mean he's behind the camera, well now
he is. He was about to be in front of it,
so but he stopped.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
And saying that with with how negative people have been online,
I'm still excited.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
I'm still really excited.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
I tried explaining this on the podcast that it's not
out yet with Scott, but there is a there is
a level of I don't know how to explain this
without I just had a son, and I know it's
silly and maybe unrelated. Maybe it is relatable, I don't know,
but I just unboxed my son, you know, and like
(14:24):
it was it was such a monumental feeling, you know.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Like what's up YouTube today, We're gonna be unboxing Sticky
Jim or Joe Joe Joe Jim.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
That's a backup name. Yeah, that's the second kid.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
So, like, I am excited for switch to, but there
is definitely a level of like emotional space that has
been unheld, if that makes sense. Like I I am excited,
but it's not far enough away from my son that
I feel I'm ready to be like fully like.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Oh my god. And then tendo switch too.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Which is just kind of like best timing and also
worst timing. But of course I'm very excited. I am
very excited.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
I was trying to also explain.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
So it's like three prongs, right, It's like an online
negativity which I'm trying to push out of my mind.
It's having a son, which kind of trumps it. But
I'm pretending that it doesn't for content.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
And you should. I don't think that you should do that.
You should you should still pretend that your son, not
pretend you should act like your son is more.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Well, I'm being honest about it here, true We're peeling
back the curtain, yell. And then there's the third aspect,
where as much as I am excited, this isn't a
normal console release as far as like every time I've
been an adult and I've gone and got a console,
and I'm talking about like the GameCube, we we you
and Switch, I'm talking about three sixty I was kind
(15:59):
of a kid then, still Xbox one series X those
kind of similar. I'm talking about PlayStation three, four and five.
Every console has felt so different, you know, It's like
different form factor, different possibilities, different ecosystems, different Like the
act of opening it up was always a different experience, right,
This is literally opening a switch one. Yeah, and like
(16:22):
I've bought every switch, so I have opened a switch
at least twenty times. So I'm gonna be opening This
is very specific to me, I know. So I'm gonna
be opening I'm gonna I'm gonna see the tablet on
the left, the joy CON's on the right. I'm gonna
click him in, put them together, turn it on. The
UI is gonna be the same. There's like an element
here where it's like I already know exactly what to expect.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Yeah, it's probably gonna be feel similar to when you
first opened an O led switch.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yes, or even the original switch.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
So most people, a lot of people have even done
that twice. So there's like some things working against it
in my mind. From being like the most excited I've
been for Launch, I would say I was more excited
for Switch one then Switch to just because Switch one
was so new and so fresh, and I was excited
for the possibilities. This feels like I'm updating the thing
(17:10):
that I already loved. So I think for me, what
I'm more excited for is Mario Cutty. Like it's the
experience of playing Mario cott I'm very exciting, and it
is the experience of opening a new console.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
I'm also hyped just for like the extra performance I like.
But yeah, I mean that's that's gonna be nice. I'm
a frame rate snob and I like having like extra
frames in a game, So I like playing Zelda at
like six c fps.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I'm really hyped for that.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Mm hmmm hmm.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Yeah, I'm really excited, really excited for that. No, I'm not,
I'm being serious. I'm actually really excited for that. I
know I was being silly, but I'm really excited because
I'm because podcast I was being being goofy, but I
am really excited. In order of excitement, I think I'm
Mario Cutt number one.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Cypapunk.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Widley's my number two right now because there's so much
hype around it with too, but also just to see it.
And then the third thing I think is the four
K Zelder and.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
You never finished Cyberpunk, right or you did?
Speaker 5 (18:08):
No?
Speaker 3 (18:08):
I did? I did. You didn't do the DEC. I
didn't do the DC. I really liked it.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
And I also haven't been back since they added some things.
Speaker 5 (18:14):
It's they so a lot of that ghost perk systems
that weren't there.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
They removed it and added you know, you'll see. I
don't know, but I'm listening. No, I know one thing
they added because you know that Lenovo Legian Go you
were looking at YEP. So I got that to review
and I wanted to test Cyberpunk. By the way, seventy
frames Cyberpunk. It was awesome, and I got the cops
angry with me, and then they started chasing me in
a cop car and my first thought was like, oh,
(18:44):
they can do that now. Cops can drive now, because
when the game came out, there was no driving AI
people couldn't drive, So yeah, they definitely added a lot and.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
It's just crazy.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
By the way. It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
But I met the pr guy from Cyberpunk at the
Nintena experience. He was super nice, said that he liked
my video, and he was telling me all about how
like they they work so hard on this port. They
think it's the best version of the game. It has
all the content. They worked really closely with the motion
controls and the mouse controls, and he thinks playing it
(19:16):
with Giro is the best way he's played the game.
And then they're targeting like thirty frames, forty frames, and
it's all on the cart. It's like a sixty four
gig cart and the whole game is on the cart.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
So there's a lot to like about it, and there's
a lot. I'm starting with a fresh mindset for that game,
and I'm excited to give it another shot and really
really try my best to like it.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
I couldn't get into it. Not gonna be No, it's
not not even not even because it sucked. It was
because I'm I just feel like I'm a stupid diaper baby.
When it comes to games. It's not not like I
just think I'm dumb, like I have no you are
confusing to me, Like just like a lot of the
concepts were confusing to me, I couldn't follow anything. I
think that I was just kind of going through some stuff.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
You know, you know you got gamer Gooper brain.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
I do have gamer Gooper brain. Dude, my comprehension of
ship in general, this is really bad. Like when I
was in Chicago two weeks ago, my friends were teaching
me how to play Magic the Gathering, and like I
had to read each card like six times before I
could actually comprehend what it does. Your streamer, Yeah, no,
it's it's I adhd I have stupid brain.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I don't know what it is. I think I'm a
smart person, but I also just like.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
I mean, that game with a lot of its neural
networking stuff and all those that was very confusing, and
every every ability upgrade was a stat boost of some kind,
which his own numbers and math.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
So yeah, I get it.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Yeah, Like right now, my favorite game is Half Sword.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
I never heard of it, but I finished Solar Leveling.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Oh did you like it?
Speaker 3 (20:43):
It's so sick dude. That was a episode.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah, it's awesome, it's really cool, insane, And then everyone
was upset that Solar Leveling didn't win Anime of the Year.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
It did, didn't it win?
Speaker 1 (20:53):
No, it did win Anime of the Year because some
other anime didn't.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
I okay, so.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
You know what I did, bingle. I was like, okay,
I started watch that one. Next so boring.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
The first it's a snow burn. The first episode, nothing happens.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
And also everyone was like, oh the art and Solar
Leveling sucks compared to the art.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
No, no, the animation is is insane.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I even heard it takes them a year to make
one episode of Solo Leveling. So I really liked Free
Room though, but it was it was like the same.
I watched one episode. It was very boring, but it's
the same like Middle Earth, sort of like Metaphor Nights.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
There's like there's so many of them.
Speaker 5 (21:30):
It's about the like, so Free Room is about the
whole journey ended for like they did the Hero's Quest.
It's posting you missed the best part. Yeah, you kind
of did. I can talk about it.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
We liked it.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Solo Leveling was out of control. I liked it so much. Yeah,
all right, let's talk about some more Nintendo things.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Can we kick off with the Tony Cash real quick?
Like super quick?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
All right? Where is it? Oh? Well, I don't think
I actually said it?
Speaker 5 (21:58):
Hold on, you didn't actually while that?
Speaker 2 (22:04):
No, I post, I just forgot to hit the send.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
But while you're finding it. Hold on, can I talk
about the text first?
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Oh? Sure?
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yes, all right, this is a week before switch. We're
just having fun, all right, shut up, forget about it.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Hey, got so this morning?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Right, So I'm on dad shifts, I'm on night shifts.
I'm getting like four hours sleep at best. So I'm
up till six in the morning, seven in the morning,
waiting for Kim to wake up.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
These guys.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I know they're coming somewhere between one and two, right,
I don't know when exactly, but that's just when they're
going to show up, right, So I set my alarm
for one so I can get at least four or
five hours sleep. By the way, this guy is calling
me at eleven am, which thankfully didn't wake me up.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
I thought that I didn't have this thing, and.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
I just what was I going to do?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
I thought that I left it here. I wanted to
confirm before I left.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Even if you had woke me up, I would have
told you there is no chance I'm getting out of bed.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Well, here's the good thing, right, you didn't wake up.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
No, I didn't wake up, so I didn't want to
to get my four or five hours sleep. So I
wake up at one, right, I start. I don't want
to get out of bed, It's the last thing I
want to do. But I start getting out of bed.
I start moseying towards the shower. I'm getting undressed, and
I'm texting the group chat. I'm standing there naked at
the shower, waiting to turn the shower on, knowing I
might have maybe five minutes. And I text a group
(23:19):
chat what's the ETA? And Max sends the number one
hundred and fifty six. One hundred and fifty six, and
I'm like, okay, so it probably means two. So I
said so too, because I just wanted to clarify how
much time I had before I got in the showers.
It's is just checking if I had time to eat
and let dollar out before people got here. I'm standing
there waiting and then I get let's say, one colon
(23:42):
sixty two. Right, So now I'm like, what what time
is that? Is that two minutes after two? What's happening?
So I wrote I have no fing idea what you're saying,
but I deleted the effing so that I didn't sound
too mean, and then I get there was some traffic.
Now Maps is saying one eight five.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Let's tick a screen I want to remember.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Don't take a screenshot. I just want to say what
I have to remember.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
I am standing there, naked, just waiting to shower, tired
as hell. I have maybe at this point fifty minutes
before you guys get there, just to see my son.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Maybe, but that number is unclear right now.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
I just can't tell when he's coming. Okay.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
So so my opinion of the situation is that Max
made a joke that didn't land with you, and he's.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Not done because he then says, I'm kidding. Google Maps
is saying one fifty, one hundred and fifty six. That's
the ETA high.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
It's one fifty six, not a time fifty one.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Colon fifty six is a time colon one hundred and fifty. Also,
even if you had said one fifty six, I still
would have been like so two pm. Because, by the way,
you know what time you guys got here. He walked
in the door at one fifty eight. Okay, under in
fifty six is not a time that you tell someone
(24:59):
you're going to be somewhere at.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Just for everybody, Hey, I'm not gonna I'm not going
to be on the show anymore, okay after this episode,
And I just want everybody in chat to know, all
four thousand.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
I don't know, I'm okay, how many people are in here?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Four thousand?
Speaker 3 (25:14):
You got four thousand right now.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
I just want you to know, Okay, I'm not going
to be on this show anymore, and this is what
you have.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
So then he says, I'm kidding.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Google Maps are saying discord open it in the discord.
So I said, what now, I'm swearing? I said, what
the f does that mean?
Speaker 4 (25:30):
Two pm?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
And he says one fifty. Now he writes one colon,
fifty six pm. Is that not a time? And then
he writes two. Sure, let's round it up.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yeah, is a time. One hundred and fifty six is
not a time.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
You can put a colon in your mind.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
One hundred and fifty six is not a time when
you read it.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
You could be like, oh, he must mean.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
I think we start military exactly what I did. So
you know what I said to clarify, I said, so
you mean too, and then you said, let's say one
six sixty two. So now I have no idea what
you mean. I thought I knew. Now I'm just standing
that butt ass naked waiting to shallow.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
I don't know your butt. I don't know your butt
ass naked.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
I was meant to tell you thirteen fourteen. He didn't say,
he didn't.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
He didn't even send any pigs like.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Crazy, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yeah, I misread the number. It's it's one thy eight
hundred forty three is the number.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I was gonna say, how much is it? Though?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Like nineteen hundred eighteen eighteen hundred. Do you want me
around or not? Oh? I sent the I said, I.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Already talked about it. I already said I.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Sent a tony cash though.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Oh I thought you were talking about this. Yeah, look
at the tiny euro.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
You didn't even send the pot where you said one
fifty six without.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
The I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Look at the tiny u URL link I sent. Pull
that up real quick. It's a tony cash. I think
it's relevant.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Okay, can I get a Poland chat?
Speaker 1 (26:50):
If someone sends one fifty six, do you're not classify
what they mean?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
I thought it was a TYPEO pull up the Tony
Cash video right now hole in the chat.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
I need people to back me up on this.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
She's more relevant.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
One fifty six is not a time even just like
let's say he wrote it as one call in fifty
six the first time, which I would have understood and
been like, why the hell didn't he just say too?
Who does that? What do you not just say too?
Especially when you're an hour away, because you know it's
not going to be one fifty six?
Speaker 4 (27:22):
It was exactly one, but still most people would just
do two.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
If you're an hour away and it says one fifty six,
would you not write just two? It's also less things
you have to type.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
This is this is all conversation. I gotta be so real.
Let me know when you have from here.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
I heard you're a big fan of me.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Sit down, bright, we started to start over, start over,
start over, start over, start over.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Oh my god, what.
Speaker 6 (28:14):
This is from him?
Speaker 7 (28:16):
I heard you're a big fan of me. Won new
great accomplishment, and I'm so happy that you're.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
A big fan of me who knew this was happening.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
I told them about it, but they didn't see it yet.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
We didn't want to see it.
Speaker 7 (28:31):
Nintendo Switch to anything, I'm gonna buy it, Yes, but
there's only like true arrangements and.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
Eighty dollars for a game six hundred dollars. Absolutely not.
Where am I getting that money from?
Speaker 1 (28:48):
What is.
Speaker 6 (28:52):
The game to play? Is the original Nintendo Switch? Mario Kart?
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Oh, good choice on my favorite.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
Did he say that to you? I hope you enjoy
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
That's and don't disrespect his culture breaking?
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Awesome that you did that.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Yeah, I m consider it a parting gift.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
It was.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
It was. It wasn't too bad.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
His cameo price is nice.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
I need to know how much it costs.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Okay, it was for an expedite because I did it
like two nights ago. It was one hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
So kid, that kid's saying you can't disrespect his culture.
He's got to pay taxes on it.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Oh, yeah, that's true, he does that. That took me
by surprise.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
You really walked across the room.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
In the middle of me ranting to be hit by
That was perfect time.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
That's awesome. Wow, there you go. Thank you for that.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Tony Cash is buying the Nintendo switch to.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
But he's the best thing you've ever done.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
He said about the price is now you're leaving.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
What about all the times that I just show up
and help run it?
Speaker 3 (30:01):
No, that was better.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
That was very not all the times that you've hit live.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
That's true. Yeah, my Tony Cash, he's blowing up.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Well, we're going to get him to blow up.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
He's like a guy.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
He's almost in a half a million. I think on.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Instagram, let's get him on the podcast. I would, I mean,
i'd be down, but didn't I say to reach out
to him last night?
Speaker 4 (30:22):
I forgot to.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
I did reach out to him. I reached out.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Wow, that was awesome. I think we should in the show.
There it is, it's anywhere but downhill from now.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Also, we know it doesn't cost six hundred dollars. You
know he's he just he doesn't.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
He was.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
I don't know what a guy if he says it's
six hundred, I believe him.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
All right, Next and again, somebody wants to watch it again.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
I don't know how we talk that.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Let's play it again, because we were talking throughout the
whole thing.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
I don't think if we can't play the whole thing again,
we'll do it. We'll do it on the bonus. Hey,
we'll just play the start.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
What this is from him? I heard you're a big
fan of me. One new great accomplishment, and I'm so
happy that you're a big fan of me.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
He's so sweet.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
I love Tony Kash All right, favorite internet personality here's.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Mine right now. Yeah, end of an era for my
local warm up.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
I wanted to talk about this so one I might
try and get out there either later today or tomorrow
and see if I can nab anything.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Well, I meant to tell you this off air. I'll
tell you right now. My friend works at Target, like
not far from here, so I can ask him.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Please do are you trying to get another Kiosk? Oh? Shit? Yeah,
I mean I would take it.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Yes, I'll tell you right now, but no, just like
any kind of like signage, any kind of I don't
know if I ever did I show this on the
show that a fan messaged me that they got a
Kiosk from GameStop. They were throwing it out but they
had to smash the signage that i'd have to find
it in my DMS so game stop. I guess corporate
(31:53):
is telling some stores to get rid of the old
switched kiosk, but they can't just throw it out. They
had to They had to smash the sign all the
signs on the ki They can't be I don't know
the reason, but this guy sent me a picture of
it and he was like, hey, I finally got one
just like you, and it was all smashed up, and
I was like, well, I don't know if you got
one just like me.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Oh, yeah, here we go. I found it.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, it's so upsetting. H I gotta I gotta message
it in discord. It's just like, you know, like when
Chuck E Cheese went out of business or whatever, they
got rid of the old mouse helmets. They had to
destroy them all they did. They weren't allowed to just
throw them away or let them out into the wild.
They had to destroy all the chucky es.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
People are probably going to try to resell them, resell
or steal them, and then I don't know, it's just
their branding and they just don't want people having it.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
I guess I don't know the reason, but this was
absolutely heartbreaking. When I saw it, so yeah, you can
show they smashed that top left corner there.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Oh my god, dumb dude, come on.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
They removed the middle insert that says Nintendo down the bottom.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Yeah, Like, what did they.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Care if people I know take the and reselling? What
do they even care?
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Why?
Speaker 4 (33:02):
I mean, they don't try to stop reselling of games,
and that they care about a freaking keyot.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
It doesn't make any sense to me, But that's what
I'm saying, Like, I want to try and get out
there and see if I can nab anything. I doubt
I'll be able to, but see if I can nab anything.
But I was saying to these guys, you can cut
away from that that. I went to game stop last
week and I was surprised there wasn't a single like
promotional poster or space for switch to stuff. There was
(33:28):
no marketing in the store for switch To stuff. And
I actually asked the guy. I was like, I'm surprised
you haven't got anything saying that it's coming yet, and
he said that Nintendo specifically told them not to put
up anything switch To related marketing or anything yet, and
that was two weeks out. They were told not to
do anything.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Bizarre to me because I think about, like you remember
the old South Park episode where the Nintendo Wii was
coming out, Yeah, where there it was like Cartman couldn't
wait for it to come out, so he like froze
himself so he can go to them, and then he
woke up like three hundred years in the future or something. Right,
But like they have like all this advertisement stuff and
the like I thought that, like you would see so
much like physical hype for this for the console.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
It doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
It doesn't make any sense, like to tell and this
I'm just gonna buy one guy at game stop. But
it was the manager. I don't know why he'd lie
to me to tell them not to not to do
anything like don't let people know it's coming like two
weeks out. It has to there has to be marketing there.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Now. I would assume.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Maybe maybe they underproduced it compared to what we thought.
And because I mean, people can't get their pre orders that.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Matter, I feel like, yeah, I don't know. I feel
like they would still want people to know this was Japan.
Actually I meant to show this. This is from May
twenty second, which when was that week ago? What day
is it now this was Japan and they're switched to
section going up over there.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I mean, this is sick.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
I mean Japan exactly where this is. I was in
this place.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
I've been in a lot of places like this for sure.
If this is Aki Harbor, then I have been there.
But yeah, Japan. The Nintendo sections, I mean, if you've
seen my vlogs, they go on and on and on
like it's it's wolves, and it's it's rows of Switch games.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
It's so cool and you're already seeing it here with
the Switch to stuff.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
It's just so cool to.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
See to see how many games are at launch that
they can do a whole massive section like this and
fill it full. I mean, I know, like it's just
rose at the same game, but it's still really cool
to see.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
It is Yeah, And I like, are we going to
be seeing like rows of games like when the Switch
two comes out? Like, are we going to see that
like next week when we go to GameStop. That's gonna
be interesting to see.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
So will probably just do like a little tiny slither
of new games with one case of each and then
you go to the calendar and they'll yeah, but yeah, yeah,
game stuff doesn't really go super extra stuff like Japan's
another level with everything, especially video games. I don't know
what America does wrong with selling video games because, like Japan,
(36:00):
almost every store sells any textore sells video games, right,
and most stores I go into have these giant sections
of games, and you see all these people coming in
and buying games. And then you come here. We have
one game store and it's game Stop, and it sucks
and it's tiny, and they always talk about how they're
losing money. Right, how what are you doing wrong? You're
the one place people get games.
Speaker 5 (36:20):
I wonder if it's if it's because maybe Japan has
more physical sales, like they just sell more physical than digital.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
They might do, I mean they must do inherently, otherwise
Game Stop wouldn't be complaining, But like why, I also.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
Think that maybe in Japan there's not so much of
a stigma about being a gamer, because I feel like
most people are gamers, like even I think they have
like a larger female audience that plays video games than here, and.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
That's definitely true. But also there's just so many millions
of people living here that are gamers.
Speaker 5 (36:49):
I think it's I agree, I think it's also maybe
a loyalty thing, Like I think in Japan they do
want to give like business to the local businesses there
or like and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
I think Nintendo's support some more, or the game company
support them more.
Speaker 5 (37:03):
Maybe maybe I'm not entirely sure, but I know in
Japan there's a big loyalty thing when it comes to businesses.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
This is a site tangent, but every time I've gone
to Japan, I always find it so funny that Xbox
is not there. Like you can go into like a
Super Potato or something and maybe they'll have like five
games on the shelf for Xbox, and then PlayStation and
Switch will have these things.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
It's just simply they don't care about xbo.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
All right, there is all that so very exciting. I'm
very excited. I actually do want to try and get
to game Stop here in the next couple of days
because I had an idea I want to review every
every accessory for the Switch.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
In a video.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
I don't I in my brain, I was like, I'll
get the switch, I'll get every game. I'll make a
video on every game and the Switch. And then I
was like, why am I not doing it? And every
accessory video.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
So Jake Starr five dollars super chat thank you, says,
I work at best Buy and they have a whole
section prepared for the switch too. I'm working the night
release and I can't wait. Oh so they do have
a whole section there well.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
As I said, I'm assuming now because we're a week away.
I don't know if he can donate again and let
us know. No, I don't know if he can.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
If he can give us more money to give us,
if you can.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Just chat normally again, let us know when it went up.
That actually reminds me. I put a picture in discord
I was going to show and I don't know how
how Uh, what's.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
What I'm looking for?
Speaker 2 (38:25):
True?
Speaker 1 (38:25):
This is That's not the word I'm looking for. But
I got a DM from someone. I don't know if
I should dox them, but I guess I will.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Ope should I?
Speaker 3 (38:33):
No?
Speaker 1 (38:34):
No, okay, then I won't. I have the DM up,
but you don't have to show it. Someone DM me
on Twitter and said, hey, would I work for best
Buy in l A. And apparently we're getting four hundred
plus switches on top of the pre orders, so we'll
have a good amount for release.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Day.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Not sure about other locations too. So if we're to
believe this, and this is just some guy that messaged
it to me, it might seem like Nintendo were pushing
out more switches than they took pre orders to make
sure that or a stock on the shelves, which could
be good news for people.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
That I wouldn't they be putting up a bunch of
physical advertising at these stores, you know, like game Stop
or yeah it's it's for Best Buys still, but.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
I got this message last night, so one they might
be and to this guy could be wrong.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Also, Jake Starr did another super Chat than he said
it's been up for weeks.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
So really, yeah, I guess it's just game Stop.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Then, Yeah, when's the last time you walked into a
best Buy?
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I don't go to best Buy. Yeah, I don't really either.
I haven't gone in a while.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
So I mean, I was just talking about game Stop,
but maybe it's also a regional I don't know.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
I was talking about my my game Stop and the
game stops in my area.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
You know. Okay, next, what have we got here? Nothing?
Because I closed my dog?
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Okay, so you know how last week I went on
a little bit of a rant about Digital Foundry to
summarize it, love them very much, but I don't think.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
I don't know why I said that.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Again, I don't I like them, just I keep saying
I love them to Hedge make it seem like I'm
not being mean.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
Or trying to be mean. To be honest, you know,
I fine, I love them, who cares?
Speaker 1 (40:08):
But I My tangent was as soon as the switch
footage of Cyberpunk and Everything got released to YouTube, like
like trailer footage like from the direct, they started doing
comparisons and talking about how the switch to socks essentially
and not in those words because it doesn't look as
good as they're locally recorded PlayStation five footage. And my
whole thing was like, why are we comparing trailers on
(40:31):
YouTube with brush and resolution issues, like it's not the
final product. Well, digital Foundry got the final product. Apparently
they had hands on with the switch to version, and
now they're saying you can show this from Digital Foundry.
Image quality is no contest between the switch to and
PlayStation four. Switch To version has better image clarity than
(40:52):
the Xbox Series s but just runs at a lower fps.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
So switch to really lot. What it says after that, well.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
That's just what stealth is saying. That's not what Digital
Foundery is saying.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Yeah, this This Twitter user then adds his thoughts to say,
switch To is very capable, huge upgrade over the switch right,
that is not from Digital Foundery, Digital foundry, and this
is what this is. Just what I was saying is
that you know, they were reviewing a bit crushed image quality,
crushed YouTube trailers, and they were saying, oh, this doesn't
(41:26):
look as good as PlayStation four, it doesn't look as
good as series s.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
And then as soon as they got like.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
A locally recorded they could actually get their own footage
off of switch To, they were like, actually, this does
look better because yeah, you can't tell by YouTube, no,
And that's that's just what I was saying.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
I'm not mad about it, but I do think a
little mad about it.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
On one I'll say this, on one hand, as I
said last week, they were doing their jobs. The trailer
came out, it's their jobs to jump on that and
to do comparisons. I get that, but I think they
did a pretty average job explaining or representing the fact
that it's just YouTube footage and not final footage and now,
and I think they should have said that if they
(42:08):
were going to do that, because it's obviously not going
to be a one for one.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
It's also we're not we're not like noting the fact
that they also slowed down the footage significantly, which like
doesn't really do it justice, considering the fact that like.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Yeah, I'm like it.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
It made it made the lower frame rate of the
switch look choppier when it's not actually.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Digital Foundry slowed it down or that Twitter user slowed
it down, because I did get some replies I actually
I assumed it was the Twitter user, but because I
didn't think Digital Foundery would do that. But I never
actually specifically said in the episode that I thought that,
And I think someone in the comments thought that I
thought Digital Foundry did that, and they were like, I
think the Twitter user did that, all right, so I
(42:49):
don't think Digital Foundery did that. But yeah, the footage
we were looking at did make it look worse.
Speaker 4 (42:53):
I'm pretty sure when I prefaced the video that I
said that Twitter user.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
Did oh okay, so cool. Yeah, that's the probably why
I thought that too. But yeah, I mean I knew
that even just i've been on YouTube long enough. Digital
Foundly has been on YouTube long enough. I know for
a fact that when I'm reviewing games, like my E
Shop games or whatever, if for whatever reason, I play
an e Shop game to review and I don't record
the footage because I played all handheld, and then I
(43:17):
tell my editor, hey, I didn't get any footage of this.
Can you just find gameplay online and we'll credit the user.
I always know that that footage is going to look
a little worse than if I had recorded it myself,
because no matter what kind of great YouTube downloader ripper
you get, it's going to be a worse version of
even what's on YouTube, let alone the fact what's on
(43:38):
YouTube is a worse version of what it actually was
when it was uploaded. So yeah, well, anyway, it's nice
to see them actually doing a comparison between the two here,
and we could even take a look at it.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
I probably should have been playing it.
Speaker 8 (43:49):
Close up, all of these NPCs and Jackie and a
couple of the gang members, And what it reveals with
PUS for right away is that we're getting the similar
text to quality. Asset quality is on par is pretty
much there. What we we.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Are I can't listen to that.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
So, yeah, that's how it looks. It looks really good.
Speaker 4 (44:18):
True, Sure, Okay, cool, we got some more super chats, James,
thank you so much for five dollars. I work at
Walmart in a small college town of like eight thousand people,
and we are getting sixty switches in store, which.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
I think is a good number. Yeah, that's a good number.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
That's more than what my game Stoff got. Yeah, so
it does.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
It actually is if we're to believe all of this,
looks like Nintendo didn't take all of the pre orders, right.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
We don't know for sure, but it does seem like
there's gonna be like there's a chance you can walk
in and get one if you didn't pre order it,
you might be able.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
To which that's kind of a good way of doing it,
I think for sure, because then you don't over promise
and under deliver. You under promise and would delivery exactly.
Speaker 5 (45:01):
I still feel like, too, even if you don't get
one on day one, you're gonna be able to get
one like a month or two down the line.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
Yeah. Yeah, they they also want people to get that.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
Yeah, and it also prevents scalping, Yeah, significantly, right, because
if because if people are getting wind of the fact
that they could just shop around and they might just
be able to find one, they're not going to spend
you know, an amount for a markup on eBay or whatever.
Speaker 4 (45:26):
Yeah, for a switch too.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Yeah, I think I've talked about this, but like the
Switch one was very hard to find, but that's because
Nintendo didn't really know what was going to happen and
how it was going to sell, right. They were coming
off of the WIU but ended up being a success,
So they were kind of hard to find this time around.
They know that there's a huge demand and they also
want to beat the Switch one launch, Like they want
(45:49):
the numbers to be higher. The worst thing for them
would for numbers to be lower than Switch one. So
the most amount of consoles they can get out there
for the most impressed of launched, like even weekend numbers
or week numbers of the console is gonna be optically
impressive for them. Turning off that fan, Yeah, I'm having
(46:11):
to turn off the fan. Yeah, they gotta they just
want to sell it.
Speaker 3 (46:16):
Yeah. It doesn't take a rocket science, that's true.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
Doesn't take people working at Chernobyl to figure out what
happened to the nuclear reactor. To know, I watched I
binge watched pretty much all of Chernobyl last night. Incredible show.
I'd always heard about Chernobyl, and like I knew that,
like it was like a nuclear plant that exploded and
then radiation was in the area. That's all I knew.
(46:40):
I didn't know how it happened. I didn't know like
how bad it was, how much they messed it up,
how much they messed it up that show. I think
that's the best show I've ever seen. It felt like
I just watched it happen for real, like it it
was done so well.
Speaker 3 (46:57):
How could it be better?
Speaker 2 (46:57):
I can't. I'm not sure if I is this. Did
this come out recently?
Speaker 4 (47:01):
It came out during quarantine, Yeah, it was then.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Yeah, I've seen it because I I'm just late.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
I kept putting it off because it's just so heavy.
Speaker 2 (47:12):
Remember I remember they were talking about like how they
they almost poisoned the water in all of Europe.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
Yes, it's wild.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
If it had if it had fallen, if it had
melted through the floor of the plant and fallen down,
it would have. But they had like teams of miners
dig underneath and build something that prevented it from happening.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
It's the whole thing is crazy.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
Also, like they literally, I shall talk about it real
quick because it's on the top of my mind.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
It became a bomb.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
It became an actual bomb like it was miss Let
me talk about it to two seconds. Okay, I just
watched the show last night. If you haven't seen it, Oh,
there's a spoiler though, but it happens a real thing,
a real historical event like a spoiler. It's aular reactor
and they were they were supposed to run a test
where they brought the power all the way down to
almost nothing so they could test if the backup generators
(48:02):
kick in to save it. They tried the test every
year for four or five years, and they could. It
always failed. They could never get the degenerators to kick in.
This time, as they were lowering the power and it
was sucking power from the nearby town, the town caught
up and they were like, hey, can you stop draining
our power because another power plant went down at the
same time, so that's it. Can you pause the test?
So they paused the test for ten hours while it
(48:25):
was down, and because it was down, it was collecting
all of this energy or whatever for too long. Then
the night day, the night shift switched with the day shift,
so a new team of people came in and they
tried to finish the test, not knowing what had happened,
and they pulled out all of these rods that were
in the reactor to try and help bring it back
up because it was down for too long, and then
(48:47):
it started skyrocketing, so they slammed the emergency button to
shut it down, which brought all the rods back in.
But the rods had graphite on the end of them,
which sparked it and it turned it into a bomb.
So the shutdown switch blew it up. Yem crazy, insane, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (49:03):
And the whole thing was like the they all everyone
thought that that type of reactor, or at least in Russia,
would never explode.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
It's it's supposed to not there's no way it can.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
That's why when they were all trying to figure out
what happened and all it could possibly and denial, like
the lid is off, it's not there, and everyone's like
that's impossible. It's because the government lied about how they
built it exactly.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Soviet lies.
Speaker 4 (49:26):
I gotta I gotta say it again. I know we
talked about it off air, But my favorite part is
when he's like, there's no lid, like, and the guy
was like, are you sure go look? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Go love, So he sends him to look over the
explosives over.
Speaker 4 (49:39):
He comes back with a belted face. He's like, yeah,
it's not there. It's like there were.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
So many people in that story. In the real life
story that absolute heroes.
Speaker 3 (49:48):
There was a team.
Speaker 1 (49:49):
So at one point they realized that it was getting
flooded underneath and that was going to make a second explosion.
It was going to make it explode again or like
the fire start again. So they had to find three
people that were willing to go underneath in all of
the radioactive water, essentially to die and to go and
turn off the water. And three people immediately were like, yeah,
we'll go. According to Soviet you know what's crazy, they survived. Yeah,
(50:11):
according they were supposed to be. According to Soviet records,
they're still all. Two of them are alive. One died
in two thousand and five for other issues. They survived
being in radioactive water underneath an exploded reactor.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
It's insane.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
Crazy, you think there's going to be a Chernobyl game
for switch.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
To I hope, so I want to play that adventure.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
Stalker just came out on you play stock.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
Sorry, sorry, I just watched it, and I get really
passionate about things that are good.
Speaker 4 (50:37):
You know.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
Honestly, I'm glad because because you're because it means you're
you're learning about historical events.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
It may as well have been a documentary, an exciting documentary,
because I learned so much the last episode. They dedicate
this whole time to explaining exactly what happened, but in
a very gripping way.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Right, true?
Speaker 5 (50:58):
True?
Speaker 3 (50:59):
Did you try?
Speaker 2 (51:00):
This is totally off topic. I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
I just thought of this. We need to get back
on top. Did you did tell me?
Speaker 1 (51:05):
You?
Speaker 2 (51:06):
You asked me if if you should buy Latkas and
Maza balls?
Speaker 3 (51:10):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (51:11):
Yes, you replied as I left the isle, and I
forgot to go back.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
But I do want to try, yeah, because I always
see people.
Speaker 1 (51:17):
Talk about well people, you know, Jews, Jews talk about
mats of balls, and I like trying other coaches food
and something about it looks good. Yeah, But I don't
know why because it just looks like doe bulls. They're good, Okay, yeah,
I want.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
To try them.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Yeah, they're not really Doughey, it's very good.
Speaker 1 (51:32):
I texted him, I was like, should I buy these?
I was like holding this, like, yeah, it was in
the Jewish section. Yeah for sure.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
I don't think it's called the Jewish section. I think
it's called the Kosher section or.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
Something kosher or yeah. Sometimes they loop it in with
international or whatever.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
It sucks they give you such a small section because
I can shop in the whole store.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
Well we can shop in the whole store too. Oh
you know we're allowed. It's not segregated.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Oh that's good, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
I'm being silly.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
I'm being we love him. You know how you get
on a hype train for things, and everyone right now
is on a switch to hype train.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
He's a switch to hype train. Oh yeah, to to
oh ship. I just saw this on Twitter. I wanted
to share it. Is this in Japan? Of course?
Speaker 4 (52:25):
Yeah? It doesn't look in Japan.
Speaker 3 (52:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:28):
I love trains, so.
Speaker 3 (52:30):
Yeah, you do love trains.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
Customers furious after game cancels switch to preorders.
Speaker 3 (52:38):
This is for our UK fans.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
Apparently the store game apologized after it canceled Some preorders
of the hotly anticipated Switch to I don't know if
it says how many, but I guess enough people that.
Speaker 4 (52:52):
Yeah, that's a super confusing title. Game game cancels.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
I know that.
Speaker 4 (52:59):
I'm just saying if you didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
We actually had games in Australia when as I was
growing up. They're all gone now they're only in UK,
but we had we had games in Australia.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
It's where I.
Speaker 4 (53:07):
Got Australia has no games.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
It's where I got Years of War three the night
before release because the guy working there was just nice
and let me take it home. And then I remember
going home and putting it up, and you know how
like you go online, it tells people what you're playing.
All my friends started messaging me with like.
Speaker 3 (53:23):
How'd you get the game a day early?
Speaker 1 (53:25):
This is before I got everything a day early.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Yeah. Um yeah, anyway, anyway, they were Yeah, who cares,
this is London, it was the UK.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
Let's talk about Chernobyls some more.
Speaker 3 (53:37):
Yeah, let's talk about the Chernobyl.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
You think you think you're in the bonus and the bonus.
I think you're upset that game canceled your pre order.
Speaker 4 (53:43):
Literally, Chernobyl happened that got his face melted, right, yeah,
all right, you can cut away.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Also, speaking of perspective of things, I've been thinking about
this for a while and this is again just a
me thing. I was like pretty annoyed with everybody else
that Mario kartt was going to cost eighty do like
ten dollars more, and I'll probably I'm still upset.
Speaker 4 (54:03):
Sure, Yeah, Tony Cash.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
Tony Cash is not abby about money doesn't grow on trees.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
Then, my guy, I had a kid, right, I have
spent like three hundred dollars in diapers right over the
last month. True, I've spent so I had to. He's
been so congested and boogers up his nose. We had
to buy like a bogersucker that was like thirty dollars. Like,
I'm just like popping money out my ass. So now
all of a sudden, ten dollars it's nothing.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
Yeah, I don't care. You're not the only one who's
popping stuff out of his ass. You know who else,
Stinky Joe.
Speaker 3 (54:38):
Stinky Jim, that bucker we go. No, it's for baby.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
It's great, it's so small, it's for babies. He hates
it because it like it stops him breathing. Essentially, He's like,
but like.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
It just gets all this gunk out of it.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
You don't think about how much you poop until you
have to clean up after somebody who well he's pooping.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
Yeah, like three or four hours, like massive blowouts that
you have to wipe down. You know, the worst part
is when he poops, you gotta wait like ten minutes
because he'll keep pooping.
Speaker 3 (55:10):
So you wait, and you win't. You wain't.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
But then sometimes you'll be changing his diaper and you'll
start trying to wipe, and when you start wiping around
the butthole, it kind of like relaxes him, right, and
he's like, I can poop more, and he'll just stop
pooping more on your hand.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
Okay, anyway, switched to even.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Just the cold wipe touching his skin.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
And it'll make it pe hey man, it'll.
Speaker 1 (55:32):
Make him pea so's diaper and then all of a sudden.
Speaker 3 (55:36):
You got poop. He got pissed.
Speaker 1 (55:37):
Oh my god, you guys laugh, right, this is my life.
Speaker 3 (55:41):
This is my life.
Speaker 5 (55:42):
Now at you while you're changing Huh, has he like
pissed at you?
Speaker 3 (55:49):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, pooped at me? Pissed at me.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
So this is how you can tell because that're getting
uncomfortable that they don't have kids.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
I'm not uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
It's not that I live. We want to move on.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
So it's not that I want to move on.
Speaker 3 (56:02):
It's that we've spent twenty minutes in this episode. Whitch
it doesn't matter anymore? Three times, I know, but I
feel bad because it's you know, fine, we'll do this
Nintendo Switch to music. Oh yeah, no, don't.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
You don't want to watch it?
Speaker 3 (56:19):
No I'm not.
Speaker 1 (56:19):
I'm just going to show you that I'm not listening
to it. Okay, you can show it. I'm not going
to listen to it. We're going to spoil it something
that we were talking about. I'm not going to show
any more than that.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
I'll show the.
Speaker 4 (56:30):
Doc Oh god, no, people are going to jump in
my bed.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
Uh yeah.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
My whole thing with the Switch last week was that
it has no music. Apparently it has music now on
the load up intro. As you turn it on, I
refuse to listen to it because it's going to be
like the only exciting thing about turning it on that's different.
So I have not heard the music, and I do
not want to hear the music. Does that happen every
time you turn it on?
Speaker 4 (56:56):
Project?
Speaker 1 (56:57):
But that's what I remember last week where I was
like doing this and I was like, how come when
you turn it on you don't get this cool? Yeah,
that happens every time you turn a game cube on.
Speaker 4 (57:07):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (57:07):
That's true. I want that every time. You can also
make it sound like a monkey the GameCube.
Speaker 1 (57:13):
Hell yeah, you know you can do that on switch
with the buttons in the you know, when like you
turn on a switch and you have to hit a
button three times? Yeah, okay, if you hold down certain
buttons while you do it, it'll do like honks and
it will do like other like wacky.
Speaker 3 (57:31):
That get me.
Speaker 2 (57:34):
In front of that.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
That's a solid gold switch. It does not turn on. Okay,
solid my.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
Switch on the gold plated. Let's be honest, it's gold plated.
It's gold plated. We have a bunch of super chats.
By the way, while bingle gets you a switch, Uh,
where did you put it?
Speaker 3 (57:52):
I didn't touch nothing.
Speaker 1 (57:54):
My laptop and then the Mac and then my switch
was anything.
Speaker 4 (57:58):
I moved the Mac onto the maybe it's I mean bed,
but I got a fast switch to.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
I feel okay, the super super chat from uh P
A three O T sorry his pronounce your name? Twenty
seven uh In Sweden, the switch to bundle is seven
hundred and eighty dollars. What is that like that after conversion?
Speaker 1 (58:20):
That's crazy?
Speaker 3 (58:22):
Any project owl says, as it's eighty euros or whatever. No,
they're they they're they're in Sweden. They have Swedish kroner.
Speaker 5 (58:30):
Oh I never experienced that, and I saw this switch
as long as you have.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
So secret now you know.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
I'm also super chat from Warren Baumann. What are your
over overall threats on the overall thoughts on the switch
to disregarding all the negativity towards Nintendo is of late,
I'm hell excited.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Yeah, I'm excited. I said it already. That's so much negativity.
Speaker 1 (58:55):
Try and block out the internet, right, Like every other
launch we've ever had, been issues that people would have
had if they could get online and they could spew
it with each other and everyone liking their own tweets.
But we didn't have the internet, so you didn't see it.
So you just had your feelings, your emotions. Don't let
the Internet tell you how to feel. If you're excited
for something, be excited for it. The Internet is ruining everything.
Speaker 5 (59:19):
Let's be let's be frank, it's it's x well. Twitter
is ruining everything because you get paid now for controversial tweets.
So the more people you got arguing on down in
the Twitter comments section, the more money you make. Thank you,
mister Beeston whoever decided to do.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
Just on Twitter too. I mean like like controversy always
gets more views on like short force, Yeah exactly, and
like you're gonna you're gonna get more views on controversial
thing on on on YouTube or Twitter.
Speaker 5 (59:48):
Was always like a tox success pool, but it is
so much worse now.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
It's so much worse.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
Actually, there's something I want to talk about in that realm. Okay,
give me two seconds because I gotta find it while.
Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
You're doing that project, Owls said with ten dollars, congratulations
on the baby. Seeing you. He is also a parent,
and he says, hearing you talk about your child makes
him smile.
Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
Thank you. I appreciate it, even if it's even if
it's about poopin. I love him so much.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
He's over a month old now, he hit the big month.
Speaker 9 (01:00:19):
And dude, like last night it was like four or
five in the morning, and like when I start getting
to that time because I'm waiting for Kim to wake up,
that's on my shift, and I'm getting so tired, and
I'm like, oh, this is really difficult.
Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
This is really hard.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
I don't know how I'm going to keep doing this,
especially like through all of the switch work I have
to do. And that happened last night. I was having
those thoughts and then all of a sudden, I'm holding him,
just patting his back, and he just goes like this
like little le giggle, and I was like, never mind,
it's fine, He's worth it. Don't worry about it. Everything
is cool, It's awesome. He's the best in the world.
(01:00:56):
He's literally the best baby, which I.
Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
Talked about before. Huh, I said, very happy for.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
You, Oh, thank you. It's yeah, I'm we're not shy
about it. It's not something we plan to do, and
it's not something I think we were ever going to do,
and now I just can't even imagine the thought of
not bringing him into the world.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
True.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Yeah, Okay, let's talk about this quickly. So I had
a tweet go viral accidentally. It has eleven million views.
I'm not even kidding when I say I'm not even
kidding when I say this was such a throwaway tweet.
I actually have a photo from around the time I
tweeted this.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
It was almost midnight.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
I'm pretty sure it's a It was eight pm mine
and I was taking care of Stinky Joe. I had
his baby monitor next to me. I was down here
filming ball of them and Novo, and then I saw
this picture and it just immediately I was like, all right,
call me crazy, but this packaging is far too similar
and a bit confusing to the general public. That was
just my first gut reaction, and I tweeted it. You know,
(01:01:55):
usually my tweets just go out to my audience, and
I wasn't trying to be dramatic. I wasn't trying to
say that, like the switch too is about to fail
due to this. I was just like, these boxes are
freaking identical, my guy, It's just one has a tool
on it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
I'm aware of that.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Yeah, yeah, Mom's gonna come into the game stop and
she's gonna be like, well, this one's cheaper.
Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
I feel like there's not even a question that's going
to happen at least to someone, right, But This became
the biggest clowned.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
On meme moment of my life on the internet.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
It it got eight thousand likes, which you think is
a lot, but it's definitely not.
Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
It has like.
Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Eight thousand likes. How many views?
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
Eleven million?
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
Yeah, eight thousand likes is not allowed because people.
Speaker 3 (01:02:34):
Did not agree.
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
It has two point five hundred retweets, and I guarantee
you if you look at them, they're all clowning on me.
Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
What's so weird is that, like they it's like they
think you're talking about Oh, the switch looks just like
the you know, the switch to looks just like the
switch one. It's like we're just talking about the box, dude.
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
I mean, I'm it kind of does though, which is
what makes the box even more confusing.
Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
I mean yes, but you know what I mean, Like
people are taking it as you can clean.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
That was that was That was OJ's ratio on me.
There's a big ass two on. I got eleven thousand likes,
so beating beating my initial tweet. Also, OJ, like I
always say I love OJ because I met him once
and he was really nice. But the only time he
interacts with me on Twitter is when he's trying to
own me or or disagree with me, and I really
wonder if this guy even likes me. But uh, there's
(01:03:24):
a big ass two on the box, he said, the
one underneath it is. If you're confused by a big
app as number two on the box, I don't know
what to say. The whole thing is people saying and
like I tried yoused, and I tried to update with
a video and explain what I mean. One I said similar,
which not the same similar, and I think by definition
(01:03:47):
these are similar boxes. I didn't want to get too
pedantic with it, but I actually ran it through chat
GBT and I was like, could you give me a
percentage on how similar these boxes are? And it said
ninety five percent. That's just what an AI think, but
that's also what my brain thinks when I look at these.
The second thing was general public, not people on Twitter
that follow me a Nintendo account that get this tweet
(01:04:11):
pop up in their feed, which probably means they're engaging
with Nintendo content. They've probably watched the direct, they probably
watched their favorite streamer react to the direct, right like,
they know what this product is and they know one
has a tool on it and that's the one they're
gonna buy it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Really, It's crazy to me how like super fans, like,
especially in Nintendo superfans, the reality is always lost on
them that ninety percent of the money that Nintendo makes
comes from people that aren't super fans.
Speaker 4 (01:04:39):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
And a lot of the retweets, actually the positive ones,
were all like you can tell the people replying to
this who hasn't worked retail. And I think that's another
place that I come from, because every job I had
before I became a YouTube it was retail and having
to sell people things or hearing people get confused about products. Right, Like,
we have extensive knowledge on what's happening here, but the
(01:05:00):
general public doesn't. A mom or dad, or a non
gamer or a grandma walking into a store is going
to get confused. Also, my other point is one box
does have a giant two on it. The other box
that looks like a switch to doesn't right, And the
marketing is so the same, the product is so the same.
You're telling me a kid at home that has like
(01:05:21):
a gray Nintendo Switch one, a grandma's not going to
go out to the store see these two boxes and
be like, oh, he already has the gray one, so
I guess he wants the white one.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
Yeah, hold on, could to be I have something to
say the camera. Have we all forgot about the Xbox situation?
The Xbox series X, the Xbox this Xbox that like
everybody was confused about that. I've literally gone to GameStop
bought a used Xbox and came home and it was
the wrong Xbox in the used box.
Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
So people are trying to say that that doesn't count.
Like when someone brings that up, they're like, yeah, but
this is a two. It's so obvious.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
What a too me?
Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
Yeah, instead of an eight X.
Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
Like they compare.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
It to like the iPhone releasing every year, But like
the iPhone's so different because everyone knows what an iPhone is.
Everyone has a phone. This isn't like a unique thing.
Everybody has a mobile. And honestly, the people that go
out and rush out day one to get the iPhone
sixteen because they want to upgrade from the fifteen, those
are the same people that will know the difference between
(01:06:18):
switch one and switch two. Most people when they go
to get an iPhone, they go to T Mobile to
get a plan and they recommend them to get the
new iPhone and they're like, Okay, let's get the new iPhone.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
It's called being an early adopter, y' that's what you
all watching this this stream right now are your early adepts.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
It's people, I think, not being able to remove themselves
out of their own ecosystem and their own mindset and
just put themselves into somebody's mindset that doesn't know what
a switch is. Like, literally, you ask any mum from
like the nineties, like to point out a video game system,
she's gonna call it a game boy, even if it's
a Seeker Genesis.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
Right, it was a whole people were calling everything a
Nintendo for a long everything.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
Yeah, my grandma, my grandma called every game com so
I ever had. She called it a computer, even my
game Boy. She's like, oh, you're playing a game on
your computer.
Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
And again, I don't think the Switch two is going
to fail because of this. No, but it is funny
to me how similar they are when the When the
product is similar, the concept is similar, the UI is similar,
the games it plays are the same, right, Like, everything
is so same, even down to the boxes.
Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
Literally saw a comment they were like, the switch to
is gonna it's gonna fail because of the box. It's like,
did we.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
Say that some people took this tweet. That's not how
I'm saying. All I'm saying is some people are going
to get confused. Well, it's still gonna be the best
selling console of all time.
Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
People that are going to be really pissed pissed off
about it are the retailers. Okay, they are going to
be getting asked a thousand questions about it and having
to recommend, oh no, this is the switch too.
Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
And it's also I think were confusing because again, like
I said, the Switch one box doesn't have a two
on it. So if the Switch two box isn't in
the store when they go and all they see is
the Switch one box, that's gonna they're gonna have to
have questions. But also, the Switch one box is bigger, brighter, white,
you know, like taller, Like everything about it says bigger
and brighter. So I don't know, it's just I think
(01:08:09):
it's confusing.
Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Maybe not.
Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
My tweet got eleven million views and eight thousand likes,
and everyone clowned on me. But then Celia b retweeted
me and said, it's definitely painful because there's a giant too,
But what does have a point? She got half a
million views and seventeen thousand likes. Yeah, so I'm not
really sure what issue people decided to.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
Have with me that day. But none of this math
is mathing to me.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Well, it's because people are clowning on you, because evidently
you can't count to two.
Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
So I I, yeah, I don't know. I don't know
what happened. I don't know, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
You know the craziest thing about this, though, is that
is that when we sat I didn't even say this
because it's one of those things that like it's a
thought that pops in your head for like a quarter
of a second and then you're like, oh, that's stupid,
never mind, right.
Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
As soon as we sat down earlier, I because I've
seen the packaging for the switch to already. Right, we
sat down and you were setting up your table over there, okay,
and I was just like, I said to myself, oh,
we got the box with the switch too. And then
and then immediately I was like, no, that's dumb. Obviously
we didn't. But obvious that just proves me they just
look the same. They look exactly the same.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
No, I did get the Zelta switch two weeks early.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
That's true, you did. Yeah, yeah you did. I wish
I had that. I wish I could tell you I
had that.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Did you Did you have it at packs that year? Yeah,
that's what you got. Well, No, when I had it?
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
When I when when I was at packs, it was
being shipped to me and I had photos of it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
Okay, it was coming from where it was coming.
Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
From orpheus ten five dollars. He says, you need to
show the black O L D O L ED box
versus the switch. Yeah, someone pointed out too similar. Apparently
those boxes are like the same size.
Speaker 3 (01:09:45):
So why it's not a tall box like that?
Speaker 4 (01:09:47):
I don't think so. Yeah, because the white one.
Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
It's like it's like wide. Is there a black one
or I thought that was just a neon one.
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
The black one was the first one I think though.
Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
Yeah, but the the I mean, the boxes are similar,
to be honest, but that one was like landscape and
not portrait.
Speaker 3 (01:10:02):
Yeah, but I'll bring.
Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
It up right while you bring that up, Monado, Max
said bro I got attacked as well for saying this.
I work in retail and this will cost some confusion
for some people.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Hope your tweet. Yeah, so this is so you can cut.
Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
I mean, as much as we want to argue about it,
it will happen. It will happen one time. One person
will get.
Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
Confused one time at least.
Speaker 1 (01:10:26):
So that's I mean, it's a long box. But I
do think at this point you're splitting hairs because like
people aren't going to know the difference of.
Speaker 3 (01:10:33):
The image in a new tab. Please why don't because
you're on Amazon. I know, but there's nothing on the
page right now.
Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
Okay, I'm just making sure. I'm just making the.
Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
Only thing on the page is a zip code. That's
my PO box is zip code.
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Sorry, okay, I couldn't see.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
I appreciate you. I appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
Yeah, I mean the box is longer, but it is
the same color essentially, so again we know the difference.
I do think people are gonna don't know how many
of these boxes are left on the shelf. Yeah, and
then Lead, that's the O lead one which I'm not
going to click on it. You can just see it
in the corner. I know it's annoying. I don't know
why this is happening. That's I mean, that's but that's
red Joy cons I don't know, maybe that'll confuse.
Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
I think it's I think it's you know what, you
know what.
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
I think it is a bit confusing, and I think
some people might get confused.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
You know what, I tweeted, it's a bit confusing. You
have to remember a lot of people are are very
dumb when it comes.
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
To Yeah, I mean, I'm given more than being dumb.
It's like I'd given more credit than being dumb.
Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
Half the country's too political this podcast.
Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
Drump singer for the episode.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
I don't even want to say dumb. I just think
that people are not people are just less informed. No, yeah,
you're right, I was. It's not that someone's dumb, it's
that they don't know. They don't know, they don't live
in this world.
Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Yeah, yeah, it's true.
Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
I I get called like, I get called in texted
all the time when people are buying stuff, like from
my own family, because they do not care or or
at least are not informed about anything.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Liz the Last texted me, what'd you say now that
you've watched a nobyl you need to watch this documentary
because it shows footage and photos from the real event.
And then she links me another show on Max. I
will watch that tonight. I spent after I finished the
last episode, I was on Wikipedia for two hours. I
reread everything that I just wanted to know everything.
Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
I literally started playing stalker right after It's the show, what.
Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
An insane thing to happen? And like.
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
For like twenty thousand years that area is going to
be radioactive, Like it's done. It's gig on that that
whole day. They it's still like a ten what is
a ten kilometer or one hundred kilometer radios or something?
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
You can't go dad to destroy. Most of the animals
living that area too. Yeah, they put that in the show.
Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
They put it in there, going around and shooting like
domestic animals because they will.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
But no, I properly preferred destroy. I preferred destroy.
Speaker 5 (01:13:04):
And then but and then also that made me also
look up, was it mile is something in uh somewhere
in PA of the US meltdown that we had?
Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
You know what's you know what's crazy? While I was
watching it, I was like, Oh, this is scary. I
wonder if there's any nuclear power plants around me. So
I googled nuclear power pants in the United States.
Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
Nuclear power.
Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
I know, I was something you would hear it. In
the United States. Pennsylvania has the second most nuclear power
plants out of America. Yeah, something like six or seven
plants in Pennsylvania. And then I was like, well, maybe
they're far enough away. They're literally all right here on
the east side.
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
It is to be one of the safest forms of
of of energy.
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
So with that one, well they had they had a
melt It had a meltdown.
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
When we learned from it, did it, you know, learn
from it? I forget what it was. It was one
PA that had a meltdown. You know what else is?
Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
I think it's I think it's a bit confusing that
there's more than one meltdown. I think people, you.
Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
Know what's actually even more insane that I just chose
to watch this. They only just built a giant dome
over Chernobyl a few years ago, did you know that?
Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
And it's in a war zone right now.
Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Yeah, and it's built to last one hundred years, and
they plan on trying to get in there and like
fix it or like get it, because it's still like.
Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
There's like a Twitter account that will give you a
radioactive outread of.
Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
Their plan ends in to get rid of fix the area,
clean it up and like in whatever twenty sixty five
is when they're hoping to have it done by and
this happened in nineteen eighty six. It's literally that one
mistake at that one point one hundred years and it
won't even be done then.
Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
Yeah, it's called three Mile Island accident in PA.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Right, somebody did bring up something. Switch with le No,
it's a super chat from Mega Mighty says if the
box didn't have a two, normal people's normal people wouldn't
be able to tell the difference. Every new console has
been very different. This one just has a two on it.
Ny S sn E S GameCube Wei Switch. I think
(01:15:11):
it's very true.
Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
So much heavy lifting hit it is the only thing
that's really separating, right.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
But see, that's the thing which is confusing. When a
kid says to his mom one Christmas, they say, hey, mom,
can I get a game cube?
Speaker 3 (01:15:25):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:15:25):
And then they go to the store and they say,
I want to get the game cube, right. But then
several years later they say I want to get the Wii.
And that's a totally different thing. You know, it's totally different.
It looks different this time around. It looks you know, almost.
Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
Confusing though the WU when they all like, we want
to get the W that was a bit confusing. And
now we got the switch to which yes, the two
does heavy lifting and it's saying more than the you does.
Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
But the giant U and the WU box didn't help it. No.
Speaker 5 (01:15:50):
No, Also like PlayStation did a good job when it
goes to like PS one, PS two, like the whole
the boxes are very freaking different, super trapped from quickly.
Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
I want to stress I'm not trying to die on
this hill. I don't think it's going to lead to
panic in the streets and so much confusion. It's not
It's not something I was ever trying to say. Now
I feel like I'm defending it or having to defend
it so hard. It seems like I'm trying to make
some point about how similar they are. They're just similar,
and some people will get confused.
Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Man, that impression ratio.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
That's all I was trying to say, right, That's all
I was trying to say, just.
Speaker 4 (01:16:29):
On the topic Magic Gaming. Thank you so much for
my mom said she saw the new camera for the
switch and if she should buy it for my son.
All I said was, oh boys, she thought the camera
was five hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
She thought the camera was like to add on new
thing for switch.
Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Yeah, you know why she thought that because she doesn't
play games, and she's a little bit bit confused.
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Yeah, she's a bit confused, a bit confused.
Speaker 1 (01:16:52):
Yeah, and that is going to happen to honestly, to
to to sit there and reply to that and not
think that one person even out there is going to
get confused.
Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
It's a wild thought too.
Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
It's crazy. It's gonna happen once.
Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
It's a complete twitter of empathy, zero amount of times.
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
It will cause confusion.
Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
But also with people like oj I, honestly can't tell
if he's just trolling because like he does this online stuff,
he engages with people online all the time. He thinks
everybody is a dumb ass because everybody everything he retweets
is telling people they're wrong, And yet he doesn't think
people will get this wrong. So either he's engaging and
(01:17:35):
trying to get click farms, or I don't know, I
don't know, or he just hates me. Yeah, but nothing
but good things about him at all times.
Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
Somebody in chat said somebody crisp chicken and Chat says
that before I can see kids asking for the new
switch for Christmas or whatever and never say the number two.
The parents might not know the difference and grab the
first thing they see in the story.
Speaker 1 (01:17:59):
Also seaking about the camera. Scott and I were talking
about this in the podcast that isn't out yet, but
that thing is going to be forgotten about so quickly,
I feel like, because right now they've been pushing it
in a lot of marketing, but the actual box doesn't
have the camera. If anything, putting the camera on the
box would have helped separate it a little bit more.
I think once launch happens and people who buy the
(01:18:20):
camera buy the camera or they don't or whatever, I
think it's just going to fizzle out and become like
the IR reader and then we're not going to hear
about the camera, kind of like when they separated the
connect from the Xbox and then it just kind of
fizzled out because you know, especially at launch, there's no
games to play with it. The only thing you can
do with it at launch is game chat. And like
I've said this before, but we all sit in discord
(01:18:42):
with our friends at times. Right at least I don't
know about UMAX. If you have a webcam or something.
But at least for three of us we have cameras.
I would not in a million years turn that on
while I'm sat in discord with you, guys. I want
to show you only if I wanted to show you something.
Otherwise I want to I don't want to be on camera.
Got if I got something new, I'll turn my camera. So,
(01:19:03):
like the game fine for like voice chat and everything,
but I just don't know how many people, how many
normal normies are going to be like, let's.
Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
Be on camera, guys.
Speaker 5 (01:19:10):
Does Marrier card have it so when you're driving the
like a portrait is like above your head.
Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
So I mean that feels like something they should do
at the minimum, but I wouldn't use it.
Speaker 5 (01:19:19):
I'm just saying it should also be only for like
verified friends, because like you can.
Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
Imagine you go online and everyone's camera is just available
and you're just seeing dong just above them. We didn't
show this. So yeah, switch to is hitting stores. This
has been a thing for quite a few days now,
and people that Target in best Buy is showing that
(01:19:49):
they're just putting them in cages on the store floor where.
Speaker 3 (01:19:53):
So close?
Speaker 1 (01:19:53):
So oh, actually, I don't know how I didn't even
go on this tangent because one of them obviously has
already got.
Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
Out into the wild.
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
Really, yeah, I'm gonna have to find that tweet. It's
not even in our doc I'm so stupid. But yeah,
they're they're already out there. They're in game stops, they're
in cages. People are putting bounties out. I saw there's
this girl, Destiny Foma or something. She put a five
thousand dollars bounty out on. Like, if someone can get
me one and send it to me, because like, yeah,
if you work at best Buy and you want to
be shady enough, I mean, you can just take one home.
(01:20:21):
Does it run? Like don't you need Like, well, here's
the thing, and here's what I want to show you.
You can cut away. I'll try and find it. But yeah,
Bingo's right. There's a Day one patch that actually activates
the console, which is kind of cool that Nintendo did
this because it prevents people from being able to turn
it on. But if you got one early, you could
unbox it, you could look at it. But if you
tried turning it on, it will require a patch that
(01:20:44):
it won't download until June fifth.
Speaker 3 (01:20:47):
Okay, which is.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
Kind of cool that they did that. Max, Are you
able to find me?
Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
That's gonna I'm looking for it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:53):
You kind of did that with with Tiers of the Kingdom,
like half of the game wasn't playable unless you had
the Day one patch.
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
I some people were annoyed about it for some reason,
but I think it's a really good thing because also
I don't want someone ruining that for me.
Speaker 5 (01:21:06):
They had that, and then YUSU was selling the day
one patch and they got us you oh for what
the emulator. Remember when the game got He's the Kingdom,
it got leaked two weeks early and we were talking
about and USU was selling the day one.
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Patch to people. That's illegal, I know, but there was
also really scummy. Did they get in trouble for that
is why they got closed down? I think it was
part of the reason.
Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
That's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
It's number sixteen. I just I just it's an article
about it. It's number sixteen.
Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
Does it have the footage or anything?
Speaker 4 (01:21:38):
It has at least stills of the Oh.
Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
That's fine, all right, we'll look away.
Speaker 1 (01:21:41):
If you consider this a spoiler, you're about to see
what it looks like inside the box. There is something
interesting to talk about though. Spoilers in three two one.
Uh yeah, this is it. Someone got one, probably just
lifted it from best Buy, I would imagine, and then
they opened it up. I kind of liked that the
joy Cons are put in slanty. That's obviously how they've
got the box size down. I find it crazy that
(01:22:04):
they've done tablet edge to edge here on the box,
because that feels like an Amazon delivery issue just waiting
to happen.
Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
Right, you throw that box down at the wrong corner.
You got a dent and switch right there.
Speaker 4 (01:22:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
I hate that there's no well, I mean, I guess
we wouldn't know by looking at this directly, but i'd
like to see some sort of like you know, manual
or something like in the front before you actually.
Speaker 3 (01:22:28):
Uh, none of them do. It's probably under the yeah,
but I'm saying I think it should be on top
of it.
Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
I want to see I want to.
Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
See the the literature first, you know. I feel like
we're going to see a lot of broken switches.
Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
There's something about the moment where you open a console
almost like you're opening like a chest and Zelda and
it's like and then you just see it and I
think that's more exciting presentation than a pamphlet that you
have to toss aside.
Speaker 5 (01:22:53):
In my opinion, I'm getting I'm getting my switch delivered,
and I'm nervous now looking at this packaging.
Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
I'm getting to a mind delivered, and I'm nervous.
Speaker 4 (01:23:00):
Wanting about unboxing the child.
Speaker 3 (01:23:06):
Because he boxed his unboxed his son. I did. I
did unbox it. Uh. I had to rip the box open.
Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
Thought stop, you gotta you gotta stop.
Speaker 3 (01:23:19):
You gotta stop boxing. You gotta stop. The box is fixable,
but it was at the time. God, damn it, you
gotta stop.
Speaker 4 (01:23:26):
Jesus Christ, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
Came out the sun ruf as Kim said, he came
out the summer.
Speaker 3 (01:23:34):
Yeah that's right.
Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, the fire brigade.
Speaker 4 (01:23:41):
The convertible.
Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
Now okay, well, whoa, that's my wife. Whoa. Yeah, I said,
I'm sorry, I got the drink.
Speaker 4 (01:23:52):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:23:53):
Damn, it's fine, it's fine. She won't watch. She went
respect respect. How long we've been going? Wow? Three? You
want to hit two?
Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
Two hours for switch to dog? What what do you
guys got to be?
Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
Oh, we got a bag home before tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
How many people are watching.
Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
Everybody subscribe, please, I actually, uh, I'm out of I'm
out of things in my doc So that's get that. Subscribe.
Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
But let's have a little conversation, okay, documents. What is
everyone most excited about when it comes to the switch
to launch? Like, what are you most looking forward to
on that first day?
Speaker 2 (01:24:36):
I just want to see I just want to I'm
excited to people watch in line with you.
Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
I'm actually really excited that. D Shall we talk about
what we oh TikTok? Yeah, we almost forgot about that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:48):
Oh yeah, let's talk about Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
Let don't let me forget. I want to stay here.
Speaker 4 (01:24:52):
Okay, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
We had an issue with TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:24:56):
Yeah, I'm actually there's a lot of things I'm excited for,
and that is one. So we should probably tell people
what we're doing here. But so eight years ago, when
the Switch one came out, I live streamed me in
the GameStop or eb games line because it was Canada
for like an hour waiting to pick up my switch.
It was just my face on a camera on a
phone I was holding because I was scared to film
anyone in the line. And then when I got the Switch.
(01:25:18):
I just put the camera down on the counter facing
up and you could just kind of see me grabbing stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:25:23):
It was bad, It was badly produced.
Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
But that has become a very popular video of mine
because people want to go back and see when I
bought the Switch one. So we want to do it
better this time for the Switch too. We're gonna go
to that game stuff I pre ordered it. App Ham's
gonna come with me with his mobile streaming rig. It's
like a full kit. It's really cool.
Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
We'll have like a real like real actual camera.
Speaker 1 (01:25:44):
Yeah stuff, and we're gonna I think we're gonna get
there a couple hours early maybe, and then film the
unboxed film sorry film waiting in line picking it up
the vibes of a midnight launch, which is very exciting
because also the Switch one they weren't doing midnight launches.
Speaker 3 (01:25:59):
I had to go in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
Are we gonna interview the sweaty people in line?
Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
Or we can? Yeah, we can take a mic interview people.
That'd be great. I'll bring did that'd be sick.
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
So it's gonna be really fun and please join us
for that. That'll be Wednesday night on Beat Them Up
Twitch and YouTube, and then I'm gonna come here home
straight afterim We're gonna unbox it, and I'm gonna do
that on the same stream, so you can just keep
watching the stream. We're gonna figure that out. We've got
a week to figure that out. And then after that,
I'm doing my big Mario Kart stream either either immediately
(01:26:31):
if I decide I can't sleep, or I'll go to sleep,
and then I'll do it in the morning. I don't know,
but I am very excited to do that with you.
It'll be a fun like last, It'll be a fun
thing to do with you.
Speaker 2 (01:26:42):
It won't be the last thing we ever do.
Speaker 3 (01:26:44):
I'll be back.
Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
I'm gonna be around. I'll be back around. Just so
everybody knows. I'm not like leaving, leaving forever forever. I'm
not like disappearing off the face of the earth, right,
but I'll you know, I'll be back for things like
friends giving and stuff like that. Like, well, it'll stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:26:57):
It'll be a fun send.
Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Off, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
I'm just busing.
Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
Anything else about the switch too, or just that stream.
Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
I mean, like I'm excited for the hype, but like
obviously for me, it's Mario Kart. Yeah, because like I
love Mario Kark, Like I have every Mario Kart physical
copy from like hell, every Japanese physical Mario Kart that's
ever been released on a shrine in my home.
Speaker 3 (01:27:19):
I love Mario Kark. I'm just looking for a new
multiplayer game to play. So Marra Kart it's nice. Yeah,
it's well.
Speaker 1 (01:27:25):
The best part is, like usually when I do these
big collaboration big streams where I do all the three
D graphics and green screen, I just sit there on
my own playing like Zelder or whatever. This time I
can play with you. I can play with you. I
can play with Scoop and Bob. And this is what
I was saying like leading up to the switch too,
and my prediction for Mario Kart the day one is
going to be insane because every streamer on the platform
(01:27:47):
is going to be playing Mario KARTT.
Speaker 2 (01:27:49):
Yeah, it's going to be I'm praying. And then it
goes to my po box the day it actually comes out.
Speaker 3 (01:27:53):
Because Billy camera to my character, if that's really.
Speaker 1 (01:27:55):
You know what I was thinking, streaming from the Nintendo camera.
Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
That's oh no, Like for the twitch.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
That's you know how I have like crap camp people
can cut to.
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
I was just thinking, like I could set up that
camera and my Twitch dreams could be through the Nintendo camera.
Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
Okay, okay, kind of cool. Right. I'm also excited for
Delta Room four that's on release.
Speaker 1 (01:28:18):
I think I'm also excited because they just announced that
Fantasy Life game I'm playing. We'll have a switch to
upgrade for two dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:28:24):
Oh that's sick.
Speaker 1 (01:28:26):
So I have better frames, better resolutions, better joys and stuff.
What about you, Max, I'm not going to get it
on so uh.
Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
Not at all.
Speaker 4 (01:28:40):
I mean no, no, I'm not a Mario Garga, not really.
Speaker 3 (01:28:45):
It's not being I am.
Speaker 4 (01:28:48):
A Nintendo you are, but like not like I don't
have the money to be any as well.
Speaker 1 (01:28:53):
Well you are, but it's not like crazy passionate. I
think like me, you know, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:28:58):
Yeah, I mean I think yeah, I mean yeah, I
don't have the shrine that you.
Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
Chat right now, and then we'll just get Max to switch.
Speaker 3 (01:29:09):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
It might give me something else.
Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
If someone donated five hundred and they were like, this
is for Max's switch, I would give you the three
hundred that.
Speaker 3 (01:29:18):
Came from that.
Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
Okay, oh is that The split YouTube takes like forty okay,
seven dollars. If someone donated five hundred right now, I
would buy you a switch to.
Speaker 4 (01:29:29):
That would be amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:29:30):
I won't even take the I'll sink the tax.
Speaker 3 (01:29:35):
Right off.
Speaker 4 (01:29:36):
Yeah, I mean we were just talking about it in
the car. The most excited I am is for the
Donkey Kong game, and that doesn't oh yeah right away.
Speaker 3 (01:29:43):
Well that's like a month after.
Speaker 1 (01:29:45):
That's a good I think that's really good actually, because
it gives people like an extra buffer month before that
game comes out to to decide whether or not they
want to grab it, and they can see everyone else
having fun with Mario Kart and they're like, you know what,
sure that one two punch is going to be crazy.
I think you're going to get that first launch spike,
and then you're gonna get the Donkey Kong spike, and
then in like October or something, you're gonna get the
(01:30:05):
Pokemon spike, and then you're just gonna start getting around
October holiday spikes. And at some point Metroid's gonna come out,
and I'm not sure if that's going to cause a
spike or people are just gonna buy it because they
already have the console. But you're gonna get those holiday spikes,
so literally, and summer is also a spike time in
people buying video games because summer break people are on holiday.
So you'll literally like this is perfect timing for Nintendo.
(01:30:27):
They timed everything perfect. We're gonna get spikey spiky spikes.
Speaker 2 (01:30:30):
You think there's gonna be a Donkey Kong bundle.
Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
No, we would know already, yeah, because people would just wait.
Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
Because they'd have extra packaging for it and everything, like yeah, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (01:30:41):
Don't think they would want people to like have any
reason not.
Speaker 3 (01:30:44):
To buy the switch immediately.
Speaker 1 (01:30:47):
Yeah, you know they see a Donkey Kong one coming
out a month later, you know, so no, unless say
shadow drop it, no would be interest. But also like, no,
I'm gonna double down on now because they're all already
going to have a hard time with production. I don't
think they're going to also produce a bunch of Donkey
Kong ones a month later.
Speaker 3 (01:31:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
Well, if it's a digital copy, they don't really have
to do anything apart from change the packaging. But yeah,
which is a lot. It's a lot to change the packaging.
Speaker 3 (01:31:12):
Yeah, you know, so.
Speaker 4 (01:31:14):
Yeah, g Snail twenty four four nine says, is there
anything you wish they added in the Switch to Tech
or game wise on release day? Like I said, Donkey Kong,
I would love it for that to come out for
day one, but uh we did?
Speaker 3 (01:31:30):
He ask what games I wanted day one?
Speaker 4 (01:31:31):
Yeah, well games or any sort of switch to tech
that they don't have yet.
Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
So I think the launch lineup is easily the best
lineup for I think any console really. I mean ever,
I wanted to do a video on that. I think
the only thing it could have used is maybe one
big exclusive third party game, kind of like how you know,
the We had Red Steel, the WIU had ZOMBIEU. I
know they're not like incredible games, but it's just something
(01:31:57):
new and kids like them, you know. I love the
Red Steel when it came out, So I think it's
just missing that one big new thing on the side
of the main big thing. But other than that, it
has so much to play and backwards compatible that I
don't think anyone's going to have an issue.
Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
I think the really big third party release exclusive that
we're getting isn't on It isn't on release a couple
of months down the line.
Speaker 3 (01:32:19):
What dust bloods. Oh yeah, that's like huge. I think
that's next year. Yeah, I'm so hyped for that.
Speaker 5 (01:32:25):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:32:25):
Yes, people, you're right if that was day one alongside
Mario cut and it's such a different game too, that's
a great that's the best launch.
Speaker 5 (01:32:35):
It's hard to beat. It gives from soft fans some
buffer time.
Speaker 1 (01:32:39):
That's an insane launch. That would have been so much better, insane.
I almost wouldn't be surprised if that was the plan
and it just the take is taking too long, probably
because that's such a sick that'd be so Yeah, Yazaki's
working on it.
Speaker 3 (01:32:51):
Yeah, it's like the brainchild of you know, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:32:55):
Is there going to be elden Ring.
Speaker 1 (01:32:57):
Yeah, that's it's like it's like first window for Yeah,
it's twenty five, not launch.
Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Were I feel like see launch. I feel like Launch
would have been elden Ring on launch would have been sick.
I agree with you, right with you, because to me.
Speaker 2 (01:33:10):
Elder Ring on launch for switch to would be like
Skyrim for Launch on switch one.
Speaker 1 (01:33:14):
I agree what I mean, I agree even to an
extent Breath of the Wild because elder Ring was inspired
by Breath of the Wild. So that's a lot of
things that made sense for that being on launch. I'm
surprised it's like Cyberpunk and not elden Ring.
Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:33:27):
I just think maybe the elder Ring port was just
taking longer than they anticipated. I don't know, I would
have liked the elden Ring.
Speaker 2 (01:33:33):
I guess Cyberpunk is another good to another good line. Yeah,
it's well, it's another it's another good comparison to Sky.
Speaker 1 (01:33:42):
Probably honestly, optically, it's probably even better because elden Ring
is on PlayStation four and ran fine and like it's
not like the most intensive game to run, whereas Cyberpunk
notoriously did not run well on PlayStation and didn't have
the DOC and it's seen as a more graphically intense game.
It looks prettier, it's you know, it's a first person shooter.
(01:34:02):
So I think from optic standpoint, Cyberpunk is the more
impressive one to have.
Speaker 3 (01:34:07):
Day one, Skyrim didn't come out on the switch loan.
Speaker 2 (01:34:10):
Someone said Skyrim didn't come out on the switch loan.
Speaker 1 (01:34:12):
No, it came out. I think Doom was actually.
Speaker 3 (01:34:16):
Because I.
Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
Know I know that Skyrim was in the advertising for
the Switch one.
Speaker 1 (01:34:20):
For sure, Skyrim wasn't launch day, but it was launch window.
It was like first few months. I don't remember if
Doom or Skyrim came out first, but they were both
in the first. They were both in the first.
Speaker 4 (01:34:30):
They had that ad of you playing Skyrim on the plane.
Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:34:34):
I think it was Skyrim, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Because I remember getting it pretty early, but I don't.
I know I didn't get a Switch as soon as
it came out.
Speaker 5 (01:34:40):
No, I got it around when Skyrim. I remember that
it was easier to get to when I want to
go get it.
Speaker 4 (01:34:46):
I didn't Switch one on release.
Speaker 3 (01:34:48):
Yeah, I didn't either.
Speaker 5 (01:34:49):
And then I remember playing a certain game and hating it.
I'm not going to say which game because I don't
want to get.
Speaker 3 (01:34:54):
Hated at what say it?
Speaker 4 (01:34:57):
They it's a game.
Speaker 3 (01:34:58):
You hated what you know? Oh yeah, I don't like
two sucks. I think people that.
Speaker 1 (01:35:03):
Were there for Switch one launch might remember this. I
think people that weren't there forget the Switch one launch
was very bleak. You know, breadth of the world made
up for everything, but there were only I think seven
total games you could play on that first day, and
they were like one, two Switch Skylanders, just Dance, bomber Man,
Are Snipper clips and you could get on the e shop.
(01:35:26):
I am set sooner the the RPG, and then it
was like a couple of weeks, like a week or
two before something new hit the e shop and it
was that I think, if I'm remembering correctly, it was
that Blaster of Master Zero indie remake, and it made
headlines of like first game to hit the e shop
since release or something like. It was pretty bleak, like
(01:35:47):
it took it took a month or two before things
really started rolling. So hitting the ground running with all
the games we have now and backwards compatible is a
night and day different. Having its its prior library is huge.
I well, not even talking about game cube GameCube lunch.
I keep forget Launch. Yeah really, I keep forgetting about
that to win Waker caliber Launch. I keep saying this,
(01:36:10):
but there's a one for one comparison with almost everything
that came out on the switch one Launch, because you
have Breath of the Wild and you could compare that
to uh my brain died. Hold on, let me start again.
You have fast RMX, which you can compare to Fast Fusion.
There was Tetris and now we're getting Tetris too. There
was Street Fighter to the Supernintendo One, and now we're
getting street Fighter six. There was Breadth of the Wild.
(01:36:33):
You can compare that to Elden Ring. I guess, but
that's not launch day. I guess you just got Mario
Kart for that, and then then you have all the
extra stuff. Oh, and then you had Shovel Night and
this time we're getting Delta Rune. But at least Delta
Roun is like new content. You know, there's literally a
one for one comparison was almost every Switch one launch game.
And then you also have Cyberpunk and you have your
(01:36:55):
Kusa and you have everything else.
Speaker 5 (01:36:57):
The other cool thing is like usually Delta Room is
just bi chapped. This one's you're giving two chapters all
at once.
Speaker 3 (01:37:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:37:03):
And also a lot of people are like, yeah, but
they're all third party, they're all like old games, they're
all coming over. That's every launch of a console. There's
literally what happens every time, Like, I don't know why
people are forgetting how this works. Right now, there's usually
one or two new games, and this time there's Mario Kart,
and then I guess you could count Bravely Default the
remaster is a new game because it is new, but
it's in the remister of an old game and one
(01:37:24):
two and the welcome tour thing is technically welcome tour.
Speaker 3 (01:37:28):
No one cares about that. The tech demo that should be.
Speaker 1 (01:37:30):
That's pain demos, that's the one two switch of this
time is welcome to A two?
Speaker 3 (01:37:35):
All right, we can.
Speaker 1 (01:37:38):
We can leave good with the tiktoks. Oh we can't
leave get rid of that. Oh okay, all right, real quick,
we need your help. One, if you haven't subscribed to
this YouTube channel that you're watching right now, and I
know if you're listening to this, come over and subscribe.
We're a thousand subscribers away. So if there's even a
thousand of you in here right now that haven't subscribed,
(01:37:58):
and you all hit that sub button like this, we
will hit one hundred thousand subs right now. Would you
be crazy? I want a play button for this channel.
Do it before I'm gone?
Speaker 2 (01:38:08):
How about that? How about by here's my goal, okay,
because people are going to see this episode, not not
only just now, but after it's over. Right, don't disappoint me.
I'm looking the camera into the soul all of you
for everything that I have done here. Get this pod
to one hundred thousand subscribers before I am off this pod,
(01:38:28):
all right, please, and we're going to count next week
as a bye week for the pod, which I'm still on,
so I'm not technically gone yet.
Speaker 1 (01:38:35):
Three years now, you know, I've kept this show a
life of three years through everybody leaving. Can I please
get rewarded for that? With a play button, I didn't
mean to look at you.
Speaker 4 (01:38:44):
You're doing great.
Speaker 3 (01:38:45):
I love you, sweet. No, I didn't take offense to it.
Speaker 1 (01:38:48):
But yeah, anyway, other than that, the TikTok so Max
and I have been dealing with a travesty. Long story
short when we made the TikTok. When we made the channel,
we made it using Twitter as a login. We never
added an email address and we never added a phone number.
Apparently I didn't make the account. It was Screenwave Media,
the managing company that was gonna help me and Bob
(01:39:10):
before me and Bob told them we were going to
do it on our own because they were trying to
screw us. I didn't know they didn't add any of that.
TikTok has removed the ability to log in via Twitter.
TikTok help refuses. They say they cannot add anything to
an account without the user has to add it, so
there's no way of us logging back into our TikTok.
Speaker 2 (01:39:32):
Which seems crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:39:34):
I've gone through TikTok helped tickets and both of them
have said there's nothing we can do, and both times
both of them link me the Twitter sign up page
and they're like, make a new account. Yeah, both times.
It's so frustrating. Max for the last two months or
three months has luckily been logged in at home on
his browser. That's how we've been managing to upload TikTok's.
(01:39:57):
But on the browser app you can not add an
email or phone number. It has to be done on
the mobile app, and no one is logged in on mobile,
so whenever Max loses that login, we've lost that TikTok.
Oh my god, insane.
Speaker 4 (01:40:11):
I just linked TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
So thankfully, the one thing Max could change was the URL,
so he changed the URL away from nontendo. I made
a new account and snaked the old URL, so we
have the Nontendo podcast URL, but it's a brand new
account and we've been posting some tiktoks there and they're
all dying. And this is the frustrating thing too. The
(01:40:35):
reason we found out about this is because we went
from getting tens to hundreds of thousands of views on
our tiktoks to suddenly we couldn't get fifty views, and
we realized that something happened in the back end. We
don't know if it's some setting that needs to be
like some change or something that we need to go
in and approve, but we can't get in on the
mobile app. So we're just essentially shadow band on that TikTok.
Speaker 4 (01:40:57):
Yeah, I mean the pc uh you know layout it
It doesn't let you do a lot of features. There
be some settings that we need to mess with.
Speaker 2 (01:41:07):
It's a mostly mobile platform, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
And we can't access them now. Yeah, so we're just
we had to start over. We had to make a
new TikTok. I'm going to post it a couple more times.
Speaker 1 (01:41:15):
Please follow us on the it's the same URL, so
you're probably right now following you are if you followed
us on TikTok, you're following the old TikTok that has
a different URL. Now you'll have to go and look
up the old url. Bit confusing. It's just nontendo podcast
on TikTok. Please give us a follow, please watch the
few things we've posted and maybe like them and leave
a comment, just to feed us back into the algorithm,
(01:41:38):
because our new TikTok's are bombing obviously because it's a
brand new TikTok and it hasn't found any kind of
algorithm yet, and it probably also thinks that it's.
Speaker 3 (01:41:46):
A scank account or a fake account or something. Yeah,
so I don't know what to do.
Speaker 1 (01:41:51):
I don't really want to delete the old account because
a lot of the old TikTok still get views and
make a little bit of money. But at some point
maybe we should delete it. I mean, it's just there's
millions of that cane with Twitter, like they just stopped it.
Speaker 4 (01:42:04):
Yeah, they stopped any sort of Twitter access. I mean,
listen would I'm not gonna log out of that, so
I'm I'm using another browser to do it. So we'll
just keep it open for as long as possible, and
we need to fish.
Speaker 1 (01:42:15):
Download a lot of those good tiktoks that got views.
Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Oh I have them, and re upload them.
Speaker 1 (01:42:20):
It's such a shame because I'm some of my favorite
moments and memories were turned into tiktoks. There's one of
me and Bob and Bob's brother Will that has like
a million and a half views, and it's just us laughing,
and it's like, I, you know, TikTok is weird because
I don't like TikTok and I think the format's a
bit silly. But when I go back through and watch,
what TikTok becomes is little highlights to some of the
(01:42:41):
best moments, and it really feels my heart happy to
go through and watch.
Speaker 3 (01:42:44):
Some of those. And we just can't even get the account. No.
Sucks so frustrating, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:42:51):
And it's also like, h I mean, Hannah used to
be the one that was posting to that account, so
like I feel attached to it, you know, Like, but.
Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
What if you know anybody in Chad, if anybody in
Chad knows somebody who works at TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:43:05):
But I've literally been told by two different people at
TikTok that Reddit I can read article every Reddit, Yeah,
that everyone else had this issue, said they went through
TikTok help and they were told the same thing and
they just had to make a new account.
Speaker 4 (01:43:17):
A lot of people with more subscribers than us on
TikTok had to restart their account.
Speaker 3 (01:43:21):
I can't.
Speaker 1 (01:43:21):
It sucks so much that an email and number would
never added. Yeah, because that's that's the thing. We could
recover it if we but there wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:43:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So subscribe to us on YouTube, follow
us on TikTok. I'm gonna post the TikTok again, please guys,
TikTok and Instagram.
Speaker 1 (01:43:37):
By the way, Instagram, because you make a clip of
this and post it to our old TikTok so people know.
Speaker 3 (01:43:43):
So TikTok, you're dumb. TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:43:46):
This sucks and I don't listen. I don't care if
we're even saying this. Immediately shuts this TikTok down in
the algorithm. But a lot of users just got logged
out of their TikTok for good because if you made
a TikTok as Twitter with the sign up, they've removed
that feature. Now you can't log into TikTok with your
Twitter account, So if you never added an email or
(01:44:06):
phone number to your account, there is no way for
you to recover and log into your TikTok. We just
lost our TikTok account, the one you're watching this on
right now. Because we'll talk about that later sixty thousand
something followers, millions of views. This TikTok is dead because
only one browser in Brooklyn is logged on. No app
(01:44:27):
can get in, No one can get in, and all
the settings are in the app. You can't even do
even though we're logged in on a browser. There's nothing
you can do in the browser. You have to be
logged into the app. And two TikTok support ticket people
told me not only there's nothing they can do, but
then linked me the sign up page and said, have
a nice day. Make a new account. So that's what
I did. Here's the new account for this TikTok. TikTok.
(01:44:48):
You suck in, You're.
Speaker 3 (01:44:49):
Dumb, don't respect my podcasts, the podcast. Make that a
TikTok max.
Speaker 4 (01:44:54):
Yes I will, I'm trust me. My ttok brain's already
going here you go.
Speaker 3 (01:44:58):
All right now, you can hit the thing play birthday, guys.
I love you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:45:03):
I want to say this right now, right now, proud
and into the microphone.
Speaker 5 (01:45:06):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
We have been doing this show. I have been doing
this show for like three years. We started this podcast
when Nintendo was in the biggest lull. It was in
where the hype for Nintendo and the Switch were at
the lowest point, and we fought and we crawled, and
we begged, and we scrapped and we borrowed, and we
laughed and we joyed and we hugged and we had
fun and we had friends givings, and we made content
(01:45:29):
through the last three years, waiting to get to this day,
waiting to get to the new switch too. When I
was gonna quit the show, everyone told me I was crazy.
They're like, you can't quit before the switch too. And
you know what, I said, You're right. I ain't a quitter.
I had built an audience here, an audience of passionate,
loving Nintendo fans that would do anything to tune in
every week at three pm Eastern Time on a Thursday
(01:45:52):
to watch the show.
Speaker 3 (01:45:52):
I'm not giving up on them. We have patreons.
Speaker 1 (01:45:55):
We do bonus episodes for the patreons every week. What
am I gonna do? What I'm gonna leave them out
in the dark and the cold, starving and hungry without
any content about Nintendo to watch. This is one of
the best, if not the best, and most watched Nintendo
theme podcasts on the Internet. Yes, sir, and that's because
of you, and I'm gonna see you next week.
Speaker 3 (01:46:15):
No, no, I'm not. I'm going to see you in
two weeks.
Speaker 1 (01:46:17):
And the switch to is gonna be out because we
did it because I love you, because you you persevered,
because you stuck with me, because you're the best heck
and podcast viewer watching people on the internet, and I
love you and the Patreons.
Speaker 3 (01:46:30):
I couldn't have done it without you. I love you.
Speaker 1 (01:46:31):
I couldn't done it without you guys either, Thank you
so much, especially and I'm just gonna say especially Ham
because of what's happening now pretty especially Ham, who this
show wouldn't even be here without.
Speaker 3 (01:46:41):
Right now, I love you all.
Speaker 4 (01:46:43):
We're at ninety nine point three.
Speaker 3 (01:46:45):
K right now, Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (01:46:47):
We're.
Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
Seven.
Speaker 1 (01:46:52):
This show is something. This show is something.
Speaker 2 (01:46:55):
Yea, let's just stay live. Let's just stay live until
we get it.
Speaker 3 (01:46:58):
I am passionate about Nintendo.
Speaker 4 (01:47:00):
I'm down.
Speaker 1 (01:47:00):
I love Nintendo. I love this podcast, I love this audience.
And I see something in this show. I've always seen
something in this show at every element of what this
show is. When it was me and Bob, that show
was incredible and the dynamic between us is something that
I don't think has ever been replicated or will be
replicated in a podcast, right, And we lost that and fine,
so I turned it into a show in Brooklyn with
my friends with me as the host, and it was
(01:47:23):
electric and there was something about that that I felt
like wasn't being done, especially in the Nintendo or in
the gaming space, like we had something. Then we lost that,
and then we came here to my house, right, and
you know what we had when we were here in
my house, we had me, my thoughts and my friends, right,
and it became what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (01:47:40):
What? I don't know?
Speaker 1 (01:47:41):
You keep giving looks over there, and it became something else.
And I still feel like there is something here. And
I don't think this is even.
Speaker 3 (01:47:48):
The final form.
Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
I think there's still places we can go with this
podcast as it grows, as we build an audience through
the switch to this. I'm telling you, nothing I ever
do online is ever a scene is like real, right,
Like you have like kind of funny games, you have
like IGN, you have all these official podcasts that people
like recognize. You have Nintendo sending people like Scott the
(01:48:10):
Woz and Girlfriend Reviews to go to Nintendo events and
giving them switch tos.
Speaker 3 (01:48:15):
I never get any of that right.
Speaker 1 (01:48:16):
But I feel passionately in my heart that someday, as
an independent contractor who loves Nintendo, this show is gonna
be something, God damn it, and you will all here
at the start of it. And I love you, Love you.
Speaker 3 (01:48:27):
Subscribe that deserves a round of a plot, y'all.
Speaker 4 (01:48:35):
Big, I don't even know what I said.
Speaker 2 (01:48:36):
We'll see you guys next time, and we'll have a
switch to in hand for it. Yeah, I see the
Patreons soon, all right, good bye everybody, good night, guys.
