Good morning d Mark. How areyou man? It's all good in
the neighborhood. Glad to have youin town. Everything good, Everything is
great. We just over here atthe RTJ Grand National here and nople like
having a great time and watching somegray golf. Do you get out there
and play with them? Marvin?Are you able to get out there swinging
with him? De Mark? IfI was fid, they would embarrass me.

I was gonna ask you, isyou a good golfing? I can.
I can hold my own, butuh but I will tell you watching
these kids, I don't even comeclose to De Mark. There you go,
there you go? All right?So let's talk about these realms that
are going on out there this today. Day one in the book, yesterday
right, Yes, sir, Dayone's in the book. We had some
great scores, kind of topping someoff, you know. We had the

girl Francis Brown from Ums right shota six under yesterday sixty six, had
a lot of great scores and theseven A boys, Jack Mitchell from James
Clemens shot a four under. Wehad a two under in the sixth A
with Josiah Gilbert and stand Hope.Elmore said, you just had a lot
of great scores girls and guys,but can't say enough about the course.

The staff here at RTJ as wellas the Alabama Golf Association who helps us.
So we just had a great firstday and looking forward to day two
and crown in some champions. That'sawesome. Marvin show with us from the
HSAA. He's live at Robert S. Johns RTJ and Opalika for the HSA
State Championship Golf tournament going on secondday, and he went over some scores.

How many participants do you have outthere playing golf? Do you know
a number, Marvin. We've gota little over two hundred and fifty total
girls and boys out here. Wow, now the way I look at it
online. So you have teams thatare participating and then individuals. Can you
explain that to our listeners a littlebit. Yeah, So we have four
schools that are all by buying fora state champion teams championship title, but

every golfer out here competes as anindividual. But we do have a couple
of just individual qualifiers that their teamsdidn't qualify that are still able to play.
And it's just again and just anotheropportunity to to bring more kids out
to experience a great event exactly.So you can win a state title individually

and your team not winning, oryou can have a team state title and
then you not win the individual title, or you could do both, right
right, that's right, yes,sir. There you go. And most
of the time, you know alot of times that top individuals from a
team, but every once in awhile you get that outside individual that's team's
not here, but it's just herebecause they're just a great golfer. There

you go. We're talking golf,HSA golf. We're looking at We're in
the second day the final round ofthe Alabama High School Athletic Association Golf Championship
out of Grand National Robert Jones.You mentioned Jack Mitchell in seven a four
under out of James Clemens. Ido see some Marvin High players. We've

got a young man that we weretalking about off the air, Tyler Watts,
who shot what nine hundred last week? Jeff, was that what it

I see? Two plus two?Yeah, so we go from one under
no excuse me, four under toplus sixteen and seven a. What I
know this is probably a tough question. What do you mean four under and

these one unders? What do youthinking to play today? It's a different
course. They played a different coursetoday, right, No, they played
the same course. Okay, mightbe possibly a different penhole location, but
other than that, they played thesame course today. Um, you know,
I see, hopefully see some betterschool wars today. I think yesterday
you had a lot of nerves beingday one, but now that they've played

the course, they kind of didknow the lay of the land a little
bit better today. I think you'regonna hopefully see some some better scores,
even better scores today. There yougo, all right, So when you
think when you hope to wrap itup? I saw the lad what's the
last tea time at launch? Isthat right after twelve? Yeah? Last
ones go off a little after twelve, So we'll do awards after each group
finishes. They're all paired up withtheir classification, so we'll do awards after

each group. But we're our lastgroup. Six A boys and one A
two A boys both came in aboutsix six thirty last last night, so
I finished up later today, butwe'll start awarding trophies probably around lunchtime.
