Poppy For Him, Party For Her: Harry And Meghan Hijack Remembrance Day

On Remembrance Day, the King, William and Kate lead solemn tributes at the Cenotaph and the National Memorial Arboretum while social media lights up over Harry and Meghan arriving at Kris Jenner’s Bond themed bash. Harry turns up in a tux with a poppy on his lapel, Meghan skips the poppy and gets roasted for it, then Harry pops up in a video message to veterans from Montecito. the nation will pause to honor those who have served
and sacrificed in conflict. It's a big day and a
predictable one on the Royal calendar, but as tends to happen,

we will have to talk about Harry and Meghan, who
have once again gotten the headlines. Meghan and Harry got
all dressed up for a very Hollywood night out celebrating
Chris Janner's seventieth birthday in proper double O seven style
that you can. Duchess of Sussex were photographed arriving hand
in hand at Jeff Bezos and Laurence Sanchez Beverly Hills

mansion where the lavish James Bond theme bash took place.
Meghan opted for a sleek black, long sleeved top paired
with matching floor length skirt, black Hills and a velvet clutch.
Harry looked the part of Bond himself and black tuxedo
and bow tie, complete with a red poppy pinned to
his jacket in recognition of Remembrance Day. The guest list

was as glittering as the diamond cufflinks. Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber,
Mariah Carey, Taylor Perry, Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, Gail King,
Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Kathy Hilton all turned up
to toast the Kardashian Jenna matriarch. The evening was hosted
by Chris's six children, Kim Courtney, Chloe, Rob Kendall and Kaylee.

The Sussex's present wasn't entirely out of the blue. Megan
has built a friendly rapport with the Kardashians, having sent
Chris bottles of rose from her as Ever lifestyle brand
earlier this year. Chris posted a thank you on Instagram,
while Chloe showed off a wicker basket filled with as
Ever goodies, prompting Meghan to repost with the caption, hey, hey, all,
my goals were a k. Once considered the toast of Tinseltown,

Meghan and Harry have reportedly seen some of their star
connections fade. Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, told The
Post last year that many in Hollywood would rather be
associated with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The true alist
has realized that Harry and Meghan's brand isn't as popular
or as valuable as the real royal brand, and I
can see people dropping like flies around them still for

criticized for not wearing a poppy. The contrast didn't go unnoticed.
Megan didn't even pay respect with her husband and wear
a poppy, one commenter wrote on social media, while another asked,
where is Meghan's Remembrance Day poppy? Why doesn't she wear it?
Supporters quickly jumped to her defense, pointing out that Megan
is American. Americans wear poppies on Memorial Day in May,

doesn't live in England and it would spoil her beautiful top.
Prince Harry made a surprise appearance via video at the
Heroic Hearts Project gala in California on Sunday, delivering a
heartfelt message to veterans while wearing his military medals and
a red poppy. The pre recorded video, filmed outside his

Montecito home, showed the Duke speaking directly to the audience
at the fundraising event, which supports war veterans dealing with
post traumatic stress disorder through psychedelic therapy, coaching, and peer
support programs. Harry said, as a combat veteran and someone
who cares deeply about mental fitness, I've seen how important
genuine veteran led support is. You guys have created a

safe space where courage isn't defined by silence, but by
showing up where strength isn't the absence of struggle, but
the willingness to face it more palace. In just a
moment in the Telegraph Victoria Ward, it points out the
Sussexes appear to have figured out how to be a

Tom Sykes compares Harry's actions to those of his father,
Sykes Rants and not, suggesting for one moment that Harry
going to a party on Saturday night is disrespectful of
war veterans. I am saying that his teen should have
been aware that the resulting pictures in the Daily Mail

would contrast very unfavorably with what his brother, father and
sister in law were doing. Why did they allow Harry,
who wore a poppy, to be photographed as he arrived
at the party. He had a face like thunder that
Megan was smiling broadly. King Charles of the Nation in
Solemn Remembrance on Sunday, presiding over the annual service at
the Cenotaph in London to honor Britain's war dead. Thousands

of veterans, service members and spectators field Whitehall for the ceremony,
which marked one of the most significant moments in the
Royal and national calendar. The seventy six year old Monarch,
trusted in his Field marshal uniform, laid the first wreath
of the memorial before stepping back to lead the traditional
two minute silence. The Prince of Wales followed, saluting after
placing his own wreath as the sound of the last

post echoed through central London. William, who served more than
seven years in the Armed Forces War Royal Air Force
uniform for the occasion. From a balcony of the Foreign
Commonwealth and Development Office, Queen Camilla and the Princess of
Wales looked on in black coats and hats, standing together
alongside other senior royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester,
the Duke of Kent, and the Duchess of Edinburgh. The

King departed two cheers after the national anthem as London
and the country beyond paused to remember the fallen at
the heart of today's remembrance commemorations. The Princess of Wales
will lead tributes at the National Memorial Arboreta in Staffordshire.
Catherine will attend a service of Remembrance at the Armed
Forces Oriel, where she will lay a wreath and observe

service will include a newly commissioned poem by a poet

in the Ranks and Black voices, celebrating the bonds formed
through military service, a theme close to the Princess's heart.

he will lay a wreath at the Senataph, a design

the sixth and his mother, Queen Elizabeth I. Queen Camilla's

Other members of the royal family will join services around
