Traumann avalia que a disputa entre o presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) e o ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) pelo Palácio do Planalto pode vir a ser definida pelo desempenho de cada um nos Estados do Sudeste. A região concentra cerca de 42,5% do eleitorado brasileiro, de acordo com o TSE (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral) e, por isso, é determinante para o resultado do pleito.
"Acho que não há dúvida de que Lula vai ter vitória estrondosa no Nordeste, e Bolsonaro vai ter resultado muito melhor no Sul e Centro-Oeste, mais até do que as pesquisas mostram. Mas o Sudeste está em disputa e acho que pode decidir o resto da eleição", disse em entrevista ao PoderDataCast, podcast do Poder360 voltado exclusivamente ao debate de pesquisas eleitorais e de opinião pública.
