Speaker 1 (00:05):
What's up, everybody. Welcome back. It is pro wrestling after Hours.
I'm Michael Carlisle, joined as always by Micah Frankel. Micah
was shaking, man.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Speaking, pro wrestling is shaking because we are all in
on Bashes of Honor with a Saturday Night.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Revolution Evolution so close.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
No A for effort, A for effort, A man, busy
effing week man. We have Raw Monday, NXT on Tuesday,
Dynamite on Wednesday, Collision on Thursday, SmackDown and Ring of Honor,
Supercard of Honor on Friday, All In on Saturday, NXT's

(00:56):
got the Great American Bash on Saturday, Saturday Night's Mad
i'n on Saturday, and WWE Evolution on Sunday. Holy crap,
that's a lot of stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Like I said, Bashes of Honor with all In on
a Saturday night Evolution.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
There you go, There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I got it all out there for you that time.
There's a lot of pro wrestling this weekend, this week yes,
there's so much pro wrestling. I don't know if you'll
have any free time for anything else.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
People.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
It's yeah, it's like wrestling, wrestling, wrestling and wrestling and
that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
So that's some wrestling with my coffee. There you go.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yep. So kiss your loved ones, tell them how much
they mean to you, and you'll see them late Sunday
night or Monday morning.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Wait till them as you pass by on those trips
to the fridge. You know you need snack breaks.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Exactly, the occasional bathroom break, what have you. Yeah, that's
that's pretty much where we're at, my man. So how
do you you just want to go in order of
the week? Do we wanna do it by what we think?
The importance is? How you want to go about this,
my man?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Are you and I and all of our faithful listeners.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
If you're a subscriber, think you always like share subscribe,
you know what to do to help us out here.
I think they already know where our love and their
love lies and follows. So let's just do the easy
thing and just go in the quadological order.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
All right?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Friday night, this will be in Texas as well. It
is Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor. Bandido defends the
Ring of Honor Championship against Takeshka. I feel like the
don Kallis family needs some gold. Micah even if it's

(02:46):
Ring of Honor gold.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I feel like there's been an up and down with Bandido.
Sometimes you're an outrunner, sometimes you find yourself in a paragon.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
And what really do we ever.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
See him focusing on his singles title reign. Well, on
the other side, Takashna is a world traveler. He is
a tournament wrestler. He is focused on the South, like
only a few members of the don Kallis family are.
I'd hate to just come out the gates and agree
with you, but I think Takashna gets a WORLL titled

(03:22):
also so that he can stop being so angry at
Fletcher and Ocada for succeeding.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, here's gonna be the issue. There are three matches
here that predominantly feature either people from Texas or people
just south of Texas. They can't all lose. So let's
operate under the assumption that we're right. Bandido's dropping the

(03:53):
title to Takeshka. What does that mean for the women's
Ring of Honor world title match where Athena, who's had
that belt forever, defends against thunder Rosa.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Thedest thing I can say, and I'm gonna say it all,
and the stupidest thing I will say, I'll preview. Okay,
a woman from Texas will win the Ring of Honor
Women's world title, either Houston's Athena or San Antonio's thunder Rosa.
So I don't know if that really matters much because
they both reside in Texas. Yeah, and I believe even

(04:30):
though you know thunder Rosa's from Tijuana, I just feel
like this isn't the moment, or maybe it is.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
It's been the longest rain in Ring of Honor history.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
The shock factor that would be pulled off would be incredible.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
And don't we have a gauntlet match the following night
that sets up a woman for a world title shot.
So I'm not trying to project anything, but if you're
telling me that Athena's rain as Ring of Honor champion
finally came to an end, it wouldn't be the most
shocking time because she can rebound right away.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
If I'm Tony, yeah, if I'm Tony Khan, if I'm
taking the belt off of Athena, it's to have her
make a splash on Saturday, and I'm gonna do a
long ass title reign with thunder Rows so much like
I did with Athena. We'll see if they do that.
I don't know that I have a good feel one
way or the other. I guess I'm gonna go with

(05:31):
Athena retaining, but at some point in time you probably
need to do something else with her, and despite this
long title reign she's had, So we'll see. You've got
the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship on the line.
The Sons of Texas, Dustin Roads and Samy Gevara take
on the infantry. I don't see any reason to take

(05:52):
the belts off of Dustin and Sammy. I also don't
see any reason that they put them on them in
the first place, though, So maybe you do put the
belts on the infantry here. I kind of don't see
it happening, though.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I'm gonna jump ahead real quick, and I'm gonna do
something crazy here.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I'm calling four out of the five title matches have
title changes.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Well, don't spoil it yet. Is this going to be
one of them?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
And I think this is one of them? Okay, I
think this is one of them.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I think that Sammy Guevara has done enough earn his
way back. I think that Dustin has solidified himself.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
There in Ring of Honor enough to maybe become the
foil of.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Takeshna and that could be something, so I think, and
we elevate Sammy back to ae W. I would give
the Infantry a Ring of Honor, a team title run.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Okay, hey, let's also not forget Dustin Rose is one
third of the Ring of Honor six man tag team
champs as well. Did you know who his partners are?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yes? The von Ericson. By the way, I'd rather hoped
up the screen just froze at this point.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
No, no, no, Lee Moriarty versus Blue Panther for the
Pure Championship, the ROH Pure Championship. I'm going to go
out on a ledge here, Micah, and I'm going to
assume this is one of the title matches where you
see the title changing hands.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yes, yes, yes, Lou Panther.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I think that we have to have a lutador have
a prestigious moment, and I think that it ends up
being Blue Panther. I think that Lee Moriarty has had
a good run, but it's time to move on the
Pure title and at least the Infantry will keep Old

(08:00):
somewhere around Shane Taylor Promotions.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
I think you're probably right here. Yeah, I don't, I don't.
I don't disagree with you on this one. I don't
think Nick Wayne defends the Ring of Honor World Television
Championship against Titan. I'm also gonna go out on a limb, Mike,
and this is actually an easy limb, because this is

(08:27):
the last match we've got. You see Nick Wayne retaining here.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Yes, I think that Dominic Mysterio Junior will retain here.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Dominic Mysterio ge. Wow, that's just mean.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
It's the vibe I get. I mean, hey, I don't.
I don't know. He's a little dom dom He's you know,
he's not Nicki nick. I don't know. I don't know.
He can become a cage the next night. We'll get
to that.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
We'll see, all right. That takes care of Friday night.
Uh sad. Since we're going in order NXT Great American
Bash two thirty Eastern time, which by my math is
a half hour earlier than the start for all in Texas.
So we'll do NXT real quick, I guess, Micah, And

(09:17):
it will be real quick because as we record only
three matches official, I'm guessing on n XT TV this week,
we'll probably get another one or two. Obafemy defends the
NXT Championship against Yoshiki in Amira. I'm gonna assume you

(09:38):
say so, and that was yes. I'm just going to
go out on a limb here, uh Oba, Fimy's going
to retain here.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
I'll agree with you, all right.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Jordan Grace and Blake Monroe versus Fatal Influence, that's JA
C Jane and Fallon Henley uh in tag action. This
kind of seems to be setting up a little more
intrigue for Jordan Grace and j C Jane at Evolution
on Sunday. Fatal Influence wins here, Why the hell not.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I'm gonna go out a lemon Just tell you whoever
wins this loses the next one yet Evolution, So I
hope Jordan's Grace loses this one.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Also, NXT Women's North America Championship Soul Rucca defense against
is He Dame the Chance retains. I guess I agree
with you, all right. Well, that was quick and painless.

(10:45):
That's your your NXT Great American Bash and whatever else
they add to it between as we record and Saturday
Saturday afternoon. I'm here thirty minutes after an A See starts.
You get aw all in Texas. This is already a

(11:05):
loaded card with eight matches announced as we record. I
am certain we will get more matches between now and Saturday.
Tony Storm versus Mercedes Monette AW Women's Title. I love
Tony Storm. I think she is the best character a

(11:28):
W has, best restler, have you. I didn't mean that
disrespectful in any way however you want to refer to it.
I don't see Tony Storm walking out with the belt.
I think it's Mercedes time in AEW and I think
we're getting a new champion here.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
There have been Hupple title reigns in this saga. Just
because the belt goes away from Tony Storm doesn't mean
the spotlightwell, and you always remember she is timeless. And
you'll also need to note that it feels like Mercedes
Monet has a beast by the horns. And I'm not

(12:09):
talking about Mortos, talking about the little man a gorilla, Oh.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Quick sidebar, poor beast mortas badass man in the ring
relegated to doing goofy dances with other luchadors for Mercedes
amusement on social media.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
No, I don't feel bad for beast Morto to that.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
I feel bad for Dragualistico for having to be a
part of that shit.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, because he's not getting anything out of it. At
least Mortas is.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
You looks like, bro, come here, be the third one
on this on this stage, and you get to do
the bad dance we're doing.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Yeah. So you think Mercedes here, will we get a
new champ.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
It feels like the belt collector has been built up
all this way.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
I don't know if we really just fall one belt short.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yeah, I agree with you. I don't know what you
do with Mercedes if she doesn't win. So yeah, I
think we get Mercedes getting her hand raised here. John
Moxley versus Hangman Adam Paige aw world title. It's a
Texas deathmatch. I'm not gonna lie, Micah. I can see

(13:27):
a title change here. I still don't think it happens.
Tony Kahn seems to be content sticking with plans and
doesn't unless he has to because of injury or firing
or whatever. Real Glass doesn't seem to deviate from the plan.

(13:47):
I think the plan has always been for Darby Allen
to take the title off John Moxley, So I don't
know that we deviate from that, but man, the way
this thing is built, I can totally buy into Hangman
Page winning.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Beauty. In the story.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
There's beauty and building Hangman back up and putting him
in a point of relevancy.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Darby Allen looms over this like a sting like shadow.
I believe that.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Mat I think that this will be all is Lost
kind of show. We'll get through all of that in
a moment. But John Moxley defeats Hangman Page. That's gonna happen,
and it's gonna be looking hopeless for aew.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
One more time. I feel like that that's where it is.
Where we're gonna have the evil EVPs and.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
John Moxley closing out the show successful and maybe we
get the Darby return.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
At that point.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
There's no way Tony Kahn's not sending the f a's
home happy. So if Moxley's retaining, I feel pretty dog
on confident that Darby Allen appears at the end, and
maybe he's not alone. I do believe a certain retired

(15:20):
for just over a year Superstar is signing at Starcast
during Aw's all in weekend, not saying he's going back
on his retirement, but he might be walking behind Darby
or repelling down from the Ranger Stadium. Fuck, I don't know.

(15:41):
I could see that. Hell, maybe Darby winds up in
the Casino Gauntlet. I don't know. But or whoever wins that,
I think one way or the other, if Moxley retains,
somebody's coming out at the end.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
I think that Darby comes out the end.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I think that we it would be beautiful to set
up Darby as the automatic next challenger for John Moxley,
But I don't think we can waste his reappearance on
the Gauntlet, even though it would be a big deal.
I think that it's bigger to have all hope is
lost and the sting Darby entrance at the end.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Yeah, I think you're probably right there. Ocata Omega winner
takes all AW Continental Championship AEW International Championship. The winner
becomes the AW unified Champion.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Oh okay, I didn't know. If you want to be
to start breaking down the match, make an intercontinental title joke,
a unified title joke? How long will this unified title
be unified? Oh? I think Aolkada wins the match.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yeah, I can answer that. How long will it be
unified until the next Continental Classic.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
It's not like an actual date though, I'd like he
wanted to say three months, four months, six months.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I mean, I'm like, it'll be unified till then, and
then we'll crown our new continental champion, unless whoever has
the belt wins. I assume Omega wins. And by the way,
I want to go to Kenny Omega's doctor. That man
was dead three weeks ago, and he ran out this

(17:32):
past week on dynamite or collision dynamite. And for all
that blood he had coughed up had to be resuscitated
at ringside twelve times. All that shit, he looked pretty
damn good.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
All I know is that that o'cata can beat a
man worse than a six tsunamis.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
I guess we've got the Casino Gauntlet for a future
ae W World Championship match. I don't know. I think
I think there'll be a lot of interesting names in it.
I don't know. I don't know that I have a

(18:13):
feel one way or the other who's gonna win Without
knowing everyone who's going to be in.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
It, I'll just say MJF because he's one of the three.
But like you said, there's too many wild cards and
possibilities out there, But out of the three guys on
the poster, I'll go MJF.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
Do you like stef title shots looming?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yeah, and that's I mean that again, based on who
we know is going to be in it, that's a
safe bet. Like no disrespect to Mark Briscoe, who I
think is fantastic, I don't really see him winning.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
It right Mystico would would win it if we thought
they were going back to Arena Mexico next week, and
he could use it right away, just being honest, but
I don't think it helps in the long term. If
he wins it, I could see something also, you know,
something out of the you know, out of the left field.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Could Zach Saber Junior win it?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
That would be interesting. I kind of don't think so,
but ye, you never know either, I mean so maybe
and kind of the same situation Mike. Go with the
women's gauntlet.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Exactly that they mirror each other unless some strange unless
you have like Mercedes beat Tony beforehand, and there's some shenanigans.
Maybe Tony throws herself into the gauntlet and wins. But
more than likely, I'll refer to my earlier statement.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Athena gets the raise, the promotion to ae W now
loses to thunder Rosa, Ring your cardiv uh at Ring
of Honor Supercard of Honor, and then wins this content match.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Chris Statlander.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Chris Statlanders, Death Writer's Chris Statlander, or solo on her
own Chris Statlander.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Uh yes, probably more seed sown of uh death Writers
Chris Statlander.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Okay, well, if you're picking Statlander, that sounds good. Never Mind,
Athena beats thunder Rosa. We'll go back to that Ring
of Honor part edit me and Athena wins and continues
her reign.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Excuse me, yeah, I mean it'll be I can't it's hard.
It's hard to pick those without knowing everyone who's in it. Well,
I like the Athena scenario as well. Look, maybe Statlander
loses and this is what pushes her over the edge
into the waiting arms of mop Top Wheeler Dah and

(21:04):
the death Writers. The death Writers be team.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Isn't it best if she's inn to spare her heads
down and she's walking towards consoling and Wheeler Udah's right there,
arms open, and stat Lander walks right by him into
the waiting arms of Marina Shaffir and you kind of
just got this look on Wheeler's face, like only she
joined us.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
She can be the Scott Norton to Wheeler Udah Stevie
Ray from the NWOB teen Days.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
The Death Writer's be team ends up being Brian Adams.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
The Summer of sixty nine. Dude, Oh you mean the
crush guy?

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Ah?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Oh yeah, yeah, I was about to say that might
cut like a knife. I could do that all day, dude.
I know way more about Canadian rocker Brian Adams than
any middle aged white man. Should I digress? Tag Team
Action Swerve Strickland and will Ospray versus the Young Bucks.

(22:09):
If Ospray and Strickland lose, they cannot challenge for the
aw World Championship for one year. If the Bucks lose,
they will be stripped of their EVP titles. The easy
thing here is for the Bucks to lose. The thing
that makes way more sense is for Strickland and Osprey
to lose and automatically two main eventters. You have a

(22:34):
logical reason of why they are not in the title picture,
and you can do a lot of things with them
outside of the world title picture and at the same
time utilize other talent, lift them up, do other programs
around the world title. As much as I love Osprey
and love Swarve Strickland, the moment this stipulation was announced

(22:58):
to me, it just seems obvious. This is how you're
going to elevate other talent. This is how you're going
to explain away Swerve and Osprey not getting title shots.
I love the idea of them not winning and not
being able to challenge for the title for a year.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Fatal flaw with what they did with Cody Rhodes was
he could never fight for the world title again. They've
corrected that flaw.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
It's just a year, it's just twelve months, it's just
eight pay per views. And like you said, there's there's
plenty of cage matches, strange matches and.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Storyline to go round.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
But who were the bucks the cucks if they don't
have that EVP power?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
And I look at this is a little different from
the Cody Roads situation because as best I remember with that,
that was a Cody Roads self imposed thing, right, So
which kind of didn't make a lot of sense, and
you know, like, well, dude, it was your thing. Just
change your mind. Look that being said, I expect some
chicanery from the Bucks. I think it's too easy to

(24:07):
do ospray turning on Strickland after suckering him into agreeing
to this stipulation. Although you could certainly do that, I
hope they go a different route than that. I mean, obviously,
Swerve doesn't have to be happy after the match and
now he doesn't get a challenge for the title for
a year, but he gets why Osprey did it. It's

(24:30):
for the greater good of the company. It just didn't
work out. They got cheated whatever whatever. I mean, let's
entertain that the flip side did this for a second, Micah,
what if the Bucks lose? Swerve said that Ian Osprey.
They don't want to be the EVPs. They want the

(24:51):
fans to be able to decide. I mean, theoretically, if
the Bucks lose, do we suddenly remember that kiddie Omegas
and EVP as well. That seems to be forgotten these days.
Does Christopher Daniels, a former interim EVP, get elevated to

(25:13):
EVP status, Does a returning dude who likes to hang
out in the rafters. It's been retired for a year.
Becoming EVP. Uh does Brian Danielson becoming EVP? I mean,
there are a lot of different ways you could go
with that side of it as well. But you said something,

(25:39):
I don't know what the Bucks are without the EVP thing.
They've really leaned to into it heavy with the whole
spirit of seventy six thing they've been doing as of late,
and maybe that's all by design for when they lose here.
I don't know, But as as I think it is,

(26:01):
if Swerve an Osprey lose, you've got a lot of possibilities.
If the Bucks were to lose as well.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
I think it's more likely that they keep that power
and that that helps still the dynamic with the Death Riders.
What could are the Bucks to the Death Riders If
they're not swinging that EVP power, they're just two weasels
that aren't as tough as you, guys.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Or they're tougher than you to.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
So, I mean there's that, but I agree with you
unless you get back in they're good graces by interfering
in the title match and showing your worst to the
Bucks even without the EVP power, that's a possibility. Hell,
maybe that foreshadows the Bucks double crossing the death Riders

(26:54):
in the main event and helping hang Man, whether he
wants it or not, I don't know. And hell, you
could still do that even if the Bucks one, I suppose.
But yeah, I just think it's interesting. I think it's
far more likely Swerve an Osprey lose here. I actually
like that, But I don't know that it's necessarily a

(27:14):
foregone conclusion, But I think that does make the most sense.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I would have to agree.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
There's endless possibilities, but I think they're going to keep
it simple. I think that, like you said, we have
now written two huge stars off of the singles picture,
and now you're able to elevate other characters versus now
the Buck's just look dumber like EVP is such ingrained

(27:43):
in what they are.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Yeah, yeah, you're probably right on that. Adam Cole defends
the T and T Championship against Kyle Fletcher, and if
there were ever a time to take the title off
of someone, it is Saturday in Arlington Tech. Adam Cole
must lose here to Kyle Fletcher.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Paul coming up, Kyle. I'm on, Kyle, Let's go, Kyle.
We need some TNT prestige return to that title. This
has been a lot of build up. We said, how
can you reclaim all that aura that Fletcher had when
he went into his second main event with Ospray. Well,

(28:27):
let you become a champion. You take out Adam Cole.
I think it's a good weekend for the Katless family.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
I think you are almost certainly right on that, especially
based on our earlier predictions for the Ring of Honor
and the Ring of Honor title match. Look, I don't
have anything as Adam Cole. I don't care that he
has the worst physique in wrestling. I don't care that
he's more pale than staying when Hogan decided he wasn't

(29:00):
ready to drop the title to a palass sting. I
don't care about any of that. It's just it hasn't worked,
and it's not necessarily all his fault or all AEW's fault.
Injuries certainly derailed the Adam Cole MJF stuff, which I
think had the potential to be really effing good. We

(29:24):
know that didn't work out, So it's not like I'm
anti Adam Cole. I just don't think any of this
has worked. His TNT championship run hasn't been good. I
don't like him out on Collision Commentary. Get the belt
off of him, regroup with Roddy Strong and O'Reilly, whether

(29:46):
it's Trios Championships, whether it's you're gonna chase Kyle Fletcher
for a while. Like, I don't think Adam Cole is useless.
I just don't think this title run has been good.
I think you need to get the belt off of him,
put it on Fletcher, give it to the Callous family,
and then try to figure out something else without him Cole.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Adam Cole has felt flat, He's looked flabby. It doesn't
feel like the crowd has really gotten behind him. Kyle
Fletch's work has been crisp, it's been clean, and it
feels like he keeps evolving inside of the ring.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Very hateable work. I would have him taken the title.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Aw tag team titles on the line, their hurts syndicate
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin defend against Jet Speed. That
would be Kevin Knight, Speedball, Make Bailey and the Patriarchy,
Christian Cage and his son Nick Wayne.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
You know, there are a few moments in history so
prestigious that you'll remember them wherever you were, But you
will remember where you are when you see the birth
of Nick Cage.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Well I think that happened about twenty two years ago.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
But really his name is that a stage name? I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
But right up there with h Ken Griffy Junior, Ken
Griffy Senior playing together, Pete Rose Junior coming out to
hug his dad after he sets the all time hits record,
Bronny and lebron on the court at the same time.
All right, maybe not that one.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
This doesn't sound as good when all these other ones
are junior or junior esque.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
But you were making a good point there.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
I mean, it's just doesn't have the same ring though,
if they're not the same.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Like Christian and Nick. But that's it could be edging Christian,
Christen and Nick. I don't know. Here's what I do know.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
They're setting up a golden opportunity to get the Belts
off of the Hurt syndicate without having lash Le or
Shelton Benjamin having to be involved in the finish. Go
that way. We'll have to see. But I would actually
be a little surprised if the Patriarchy does not come
out victorious in this match.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Do you feel that way because it's more inevitable and
storyline wise what could happen for Christian? Or is it
because you think that we should advance this Hurt Syndicate story.
We weren't really thinking a long term Bobby Lashley was
just gonna go to AW and be a tag team

(32:35):
wrestler this whole time?

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Did we.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
Probably not? And that's another layer you could add to this,
Like I don't think you have to have MJF either
intentionally or unintentionally screwing things up for the Hurt Syndicate.
But let's say somehow or another Nick Wayne Pens Speedball,

(33:01):
Mike Bailey, all Right, does Lashly really want to go
about getting the titles or the tag titles back? Are
so you're interested in the AW World Championship And how
does that conflict with mjf's plans And do you get
that tension in the group that way? Again, a couple

(33:24):
of different ways you could go here. Look, you could
also have the Hurt Syndicate just win, and I don't
think anybody would complain about that either. But I think
there's some other ways you could go, and I would
be really tempted to go that way. And like you
just brought up, it does bring up some different possibilities

(33:44):
within the Hurt Syndicate what their plans are these lastly,
say all right, MJF you got a team with Shelton
because I won't singles gold. Now maybe maybe not, I
don't know. I think it's interesting though.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
I just somehow don't think we get to a FTR
Hurt Syndicate program. So I think you're right, this is
more of a time to relieve them of the titles.
We've had some what people would call very random feeling
tag Team Champion, So I think that it also, as

(34:23):
we said, it gives a world of possibilities to continue.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
I mean, is there any thought to this is the
opportunity where Nick disappoints Christian and stands up to Christian here?
Do you see that coming up a possibility?

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Maybe it's it's not Christian and Nick, it's Jet Speed
gets the tag team titles. We still get where we
need to go with the Hurt Syndicate, but instead of
a ever blossoming relationship between Nick and Christian, it goes
back into more of an adversary standpoint.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Bite your goddamn tongue, Micah, Do you really think Christian
Cage the greatest father of all time? To hell with
that guy from Levid de Beaver, to hell with Howard Cunningham,
al Bundy, whatever great TV father you want to mention?

(35:24):
Did you really think the real life, honest to god
greatest father of all time would raise a disappointment like that.
I had not even entertained the notion that somehow Jet
Speed wins. Now you bring up a fair point. If
I'm being honest, we can get exactly where we were
talking about, just with them winning instead of the patriarchy.

(35:49):
That's an all kidding aside. That's actually not a bad idea.
Here's here's the goal throughout tag team history, and you
can even look at singles wrestlers as wells monster teams.
Monster wrestlers don't have to have the belts, and you
don't have to have the belts for a long period
of time. No one will think any less of the

(36:11):
hurt syndicate without the tag team titles, especially if they're
not involved in the finish, so it would not hurt them.
It also gives you a chance to reintroduce an FTR
into the Tag division title picture. It gives other tag
teams a chance. You can rejuvenate the Tag team division,
still have the Hurt Syndicate around, still looking at them

(36:34):
to do other things as well. And yes, you could
do that with Jet Speed winning. And look, maybe that
is the way you go. I just think the juicier
story is the patriarchy winning.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
I agree with you, but I just wanted to throw
out that curve ball that well we're overlooking jet Speed.
Isn't there enough creative drama intension that can be created
with all the other teams losing, blowing it going in
another direction? Just when I thought you were turning to corner, Nick,
you disappoint me. Maybe I was right. You'll never be

(37:11):
better than your father. Too bad I didn't raise you because.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
You were right. Christian didn't raise a disappointment. He's only
now raising Nick Wayne, who.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
If we're being honest, was probably an accident for thinking,
I'm just saying that's yeah, in all seriousness, I did
not even consider that scenario that Jet Speak could win.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Yeah, I don't, I don't.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I don't hate that idea. And actually the more I
sit on it, maybe that is the better move. I
don't know. That's the eight matches as we record that
are announced. You can bet your bottom dollar we will
have more matches announced. You've got live Dynamite Live Collision
this week, Yes, sir.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Bottom dollar Prios title match.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
It's gonna be the Ops versus the Death Riders, right.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
That feels like.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
What Claudio's promo earlier in the week alluded to him
and Wheeler want their belts back. My question for you,
not just predicting that match. Do they come out as
a duo, does Pac come back? Do they come out
as a duo and Hook emerges as a death writer?

Speaker 1 (38:35):
That's that's interesting. Now on Dynamite this week we do
get Moxley Claudio in the Bucks against Hangman, Osprey and
Hobbs and Shabbata. To your point, as we speak, you
don't have Joe, Shabata or Hobbs on this card all

(38:57):
in we're talking, you don't have you or Audio Hook
for that matter, or.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Pack.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
You're right on that. I don't know that we have
to have the trios titles on this card, but it
would make sense if there's a third person for the
Death Writers whether it's a returning pack, maybe it's fuck
it will take you on three on two Hook makes
an entrance later in the match. Yeah, I mean I

(39:31):
can see that there are a lot of other talent
not currently on this card. You are in Texas, Craig Man.
If I'm wrong, no Beast Mortas on this card or
on the Ring of Honor card, at least as of now,
I would guess he winds up somewhere Friday and or

(39:53):
Saturday on the card we mentioned Darby, who we haven't
seen since God who knows when before he went and
climbed the mountain. At some point he's going to come back.
Where the hell has Jack Perry been? Now that I'm

(40:16):
necessarily clamoring for him, but he is one of the
fucking four pillars, Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Jack Perry return coincides with Osprey and Swerve losing the
tag team match.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
If he does return.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Let me ask you this, if if Swerve and Osprey
are losing and getting out of the being barred from
the title picture for a year, is this the time,
no pun intended you go all in on the Four Pillars?

Speaker 3 (40:53):
The possibility I think this is the moment that Darby
gets a big push Samy's a question. I don't know
if you can repair Jack out all.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
I think the fans like you are scoring towards him
for the seampunk situation, and I think it would be
a more favorable predicament for him to return either as
jungle Boy next to Christian or just keep going with
when Jack Evil.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
Next to the Bucks. I don't think we can create
a third Jack Perry who becomes a pseudo savior of
the company. I don't know if we could make the
Walking Dead version of Meagan out of Jack Perry. We
hate the son of a bitch and then we love him.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yeah, let me be clear when I said go all
in on the four pillars again, no pun intended. Yeah,
they don't necessarily all have to be faces, some have
to be less than some maybe aren't cheered personal. I
would bring Jack Perry back his Jungle Boy. I don't

(42:04):
see that happening. I don't think he would have interest
in it, and I don't know that Tony Khan would
have interest in it. But you could bring him back
in some form feature him heavily. That's more of what
I was referring to. We talked in the Ring of
honor preview, having Gavara and Dustin Lewes. It's time for
Samity come back to the main roster, all right. Darby

(42:26):
at some point is going to return. The fucker just
climb Mount Everest. We've been talking for months and months
and months that he's the chosen one and he's going
to be the one to take the belt off Moxley.
That's two of them. Jf's back on TV every week
he wants the title shot. You're missing Jack Perry. Get
him back on TV. All four of them being featured

(42:46):
prominently weekend and week out on aw TV, whether it's
Cheer Forum, Boohm, winning, losing, whatever. I'm curious about that
maybe the four pillars thing matters more to some fans
than it does the company itself. I mean, I think
that's very possible as well. But I could see a
scenario where, all right, if two of our biggest stars

(43:08):
aren't gonna be in the title picture for a year,
we're gonna use this opportunity for other talent. These guys
are our four pillars. Let's utilize them, Let's build them up.
You've already done that with MJF. You've done that with Darby.
When he's there. It's more about Sammy and Jungle Boy,

(43:28):
who maybe as far as those four go, are lagging
behind the other two.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
There's a possibility to do that with Sammy, but there's
just his likelihood that the Sons of Texas retaining the
Ring of Honor tag team titles, and you're doing a
fun job where you are, and we're just gonna keep
you where you are.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
I think there's a.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
Greater likelihood of Jack Perry returning and being consequential. I
think there's more of a likelihood right now that Scorpios
Skuy is consequential after his return, that they're gonna try
to do something with him.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
Other name not on this card who just returned, and
great to see him back, by the way, been gone
way too long, real quick back on the four Pillars thing.
For everything you said about Jack Perry, and I don't
disagree with any of it. I'm not sure that Sammy
is less liked than Jack Perry is different reasons, but

(44:23):
I don't know that the fans are clamoring for a
big run from Sammy Gavara either.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
That's why I feel like he's better off with us
than on Ring of Honor.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
I don't know if we need to see him as
a singles run, whether it be a heel or a face.
I don't know if he has that kind of reception
from the crowd At this moment.

Speaker 3 (44:41):
I think there's a more likely return than Jack Perry.
I would rather see and.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
His name has come up in the recent weeks and
he says he's healthy and it is his home state
of Texas.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
Keith Lee.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
Yeah, I bet we don't see Keith Lee.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
I can hope man.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Yeah, oh yeah, Oh. I wouldn't hate on it. I
just I don't if you don't feel like you could
count on Adam Cole to stay healthy, do you feel
like he and look, I'm not knockingtting, but do you
feel like you can count on Keith Lee?

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Give it a run? I give it a try. I
think the guy oozes charisma and has a workable scale,
So I think that there was more left on there
that could be done with him than what they achieved.
I'm not about main event person.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
I'm talking about we could have the dude into the
mid card and have him taking over a conglomoration spot.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Come on, is it Grandpa Keith Lee? Or is it badass?
Ask kicking Keith Lee.

Speaker 3 (45:48):
He's been gone long enough. We can dye the hair
back black.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
All right. Another name we haven't seen in a while,
and by all accounts is healthy, Adam Copeland. You surprised
he hasn't shown up in the build up for all
in Biggest card of the year.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
Yeah, biggest card of the year, A notable name, recognizable
to many a fan. There is a chance, maybe, like
we said, if you need a returning faction to battle
the Death Riders, would it be that weird for Cope

(46:24):
to walk down the aisle with stinging Darby one more time.
They've done it before.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
No, Yeah, I don't think it would be weird. I
could see copelet or Darby showing up in the Casino
Gauntlet if it's done the right way. Because you brought
up something earlier, you don't want to have them like
the fourth or fifth person out. But if they were
the last person out or next to the last person out,
get a big pop, kick ass, get the win. I

(46:52):
could see it. I'm not necessarily saying that's what they do.
As a matter of fact, I have a feeling MJF wins.
But we'll see how that plays out. But whether it's
that whether it's coming out during the main event, I
would not be shocked to see Adam Copeland show up
at all.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
In Okay, so bigger picture, how would you like Copeland's
the last man out, He's close to winning. MJF inevitably
wins the Gauntlet match, and then that leaves it open
that all right, we've already had our return.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
The Bucks and and Moxley whatever.

Speaker 2 (47:28):
Somehow they screw Hangman Page all hope is lost and
then you get the Stinging Darby return.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Would that workout that you would get both returns on
the same show.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
But I don't know if we could push to Copeland
mocks right away again. So MJF taking out Copeland at
least throws something different at Copeland. Maybe we end up
with a Copeland MJF little mini saga.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Maybe the problem with MJF if you're keeping the belt
on Moxley, I don't see an MJF Moxley match as
the death Riders are currently construed, and as the hurt
syndic gets currently construed. I mean, I'm not saying you
can't or wouldn't do it. I'm just saying I don't
know how enticing that is. But yeah, I mean, look,

(48:21):
MJF character wise, he's smart, he's conniving, he works smart,
not hard. Who says he wants to cash in that
title match right away. Maybe he's content to sit back
a while you boys continue to fight it out, whether
it's Copeland, whether it's Darby, you know, getting the first

(48:42):
crack or the next crack at Moxley or whatever, and
MJF just sits back looking for his opportunity. I mean,
maybe you do it that way.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
That's what I'm thinking towards. That's where I was trying
to get out. I feel that scenario. It could be
very likely that you just have It's not the same
as Christian Cage, but basically kind of that same feeling
where he was the waiting to be champion and you
just then Jeff's like, I got this in my back pocket,
I'll use it when I want to.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Guys, Yeah, I could see that for sure. Anything else
on the aw side of things.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
No, it's just my amazement fact that we're only halfway
through Saturday.

Speaker 1 (49:27):
Right, so that takes care of your Saturday afternoon. Saturday Night.
WWE gives us Saturday night's main event. Three matches announced
and this might be all of the card. Maybe we
get a fourth match. Maybe the fourth match happens impromptu

(49:47):
after the main event. We'll have to see how that goes.
Randy Orton versus Drew McIntyre. Randy Orton.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
Both need the win.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
If I can be real, I feel like they both
need to win. This is a hard call because Drew's
just returning and you don't want that return to fall short.
But in the same thought, you're like, well, Randy just
lost to Cody and the King of the Ring Finals.

Speaker 3 (50:16):
I think I'm going Drew. But either way, when it
surprised me, they both need the win.

Speaker 1 (50:22):
They both need the win. That tells me Randy Orton
is getting it. Drew McIntyre seems a lot more adept
at not getting the win when he needs it, and
that's not necessarily his fault, but tis what it is.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
La Knight like, aah ah, sorry, that felt like a
Shakespearean death that the way you described it, he won't
get them in when he needs to knife in the
heart and down goes Drew.

Speaker 1 (50:45):
Touche good sir, Yes, La Knight versus Seth Rollins. I
don't know why we're getting this match. I don't care
for me. La Knight stop being relevant. All about a
year and a half ago, I realize as I could
be in the minority on that, I'm assuming Seth gets
the victory.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Oh wait it was Penta. I was like, let me
just see this on Raw. Oh excuse me, basically the
same man. Excuse me, Seth Rollins needs to keep on rolling,
and I think that's what happens.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
He doesn't look as fearsome. Then again, he has money
in the bank, So when you have money in the bank,
you can lose eight hundred times and still look fearsome.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
But I have a feeling he wins. But good for
La Night that he's on a Saturday night main event.
He's on a ple e. I think that they've done
a disservice to La Night. He seems to be over
with the fans. It's just I guess the fans like
the Rock rendition more than wwe.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
I guess. I mean the fans don't really like the
Rock these days. So real quick sidebar on Raw this
past week, did you like what they did with Breaker
and Bronson Reid like the promo at the beginning having
them both speak speak before Rolins and all that say
their piece, kind of show their character a little bit,
get them out front instead of being going from stars

(52:09):
in the future to background players for seth.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
I'd like it more if I thought Bronson reads promo
could live up to bron Breakers.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
But I thought bron Breaker looked incredible. I thought that
it was a better moment for him than it was
for Bronson Reid, and I did not mind it in
a theory. I just think one was.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
Able to run through the goal line with it better
than the other.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
Okay, your main event, Gumpter versus Goldberg, it's Goldberg's retirement match.
It's for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Goldberg, you can
probably count on one hand the number of times he's
lost in his career, maybe two hands. Is he losing

(52:57):
his retirement match? I mean, surely he's not going to
retire as champion? Or do we get something wonky where
Goldberg wins and then we get a cash in what
do you think happens here? And you're holding your head
so maybe you just wanted to be over I don't know.

Speaker 3 (53:18):
Not the Rawlins is the new world Champion.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
I guess that's the best scenario that my mind can
come up with so I don't cry because they've done
enough service to Gunther. Gunther hasn't been shit, and all
of a sudden, Goldberg, who doesn't get much of a
reaction from the crowd, and I think him and his
family are the only ones that want this retirement match.
He's about to spear through Gunther like nothing before, because well,

(53:47):
Goldberg's ego came back and stole the title from bray
Wyatt and took a man that was on an incredible
hot streak and just murdered him in like one hundred
and eighty seconds. If he was doing that to bray
Wyatt at the peak of his power.

Speaker 3 (54:04):
Gunther, shit who no one can remember, who hasn't gotten
much TV time, isn't stopping Goldberg from ending his career
however he wants. Why ever, the WWE is gonna let it.
And then the best thing for us, like you said,
is not allowing John Cena to be the only world champion,
because why are we gonna go?

Speaker 2 (54:23):
It? All just hurts my head that that is a
possibility John Cena could be the only world champion. It
could possibly walk away with the title because WWE is
letting Gunther retire with a different title, so we just
have retirement titles.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
I mean, sorry, Goldberg, it all hurts my head.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
There's only one logical scenario here, and I don't think
it happens, and that's Gunther retaining, right, because let's think
about this for a second. All right, Goldberg winning, he
ain't retiring with the belt presumably, and if he does
is weeks later you're gonna have a tournament to crownt
a new champion. I don't think giving Goldberg his moment

(55:04):
getting the pens, celebrating in the ring and then having
Seth come out and cash in and beating him, you're
just as well off having gun thor beat him at
that point. So I mean, I get it. You can
get the photos, you get the moment Goldberg's family comes in,
they celebrate, there's Pyro going off, he's spitting and slobbegn
and head button shit, and then Seth comes out and

(55:25):
ruins it all. But there's no payoff to that from
the Goldberg side of things, because he's done now. It
would actually make more sense to have Gunther somehow get
the win after getting his ass beat and having Seth
capitalize on that. I would have gun Through win and
then do what you want, whether he moves on to
the next person or Seth comes out and cash is in.
Something tells me Goldberg's winning here, but he might not

(55:48):
necessarily be walking out with the belt.

Speaker 3 (55:50):
That feels like the most likely scenario to me. Could
do we just.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
Ww likes to do repeats, dude, we just go back
to the first step. Rawlins title victory and this cash
in leads to a triple threat match. I mean, it
seemed like we tease that at the last pl e
before Charles Robinson got you know, shoulder blocked into oblivion

(56:20):
by John Zena, Like, do you think that is an
option Rawlin's triple threat entry?

Speaker 1 (56:29):
Man, I'm gonna say no, only because Rollins has a
match presumably right before this, but it's also not out
of the realm of possibility. Then something can happen to Goldberg, Rolins,
Pens gum th or whatever.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
Like.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
I don't see Goldberg looking up at the lights in
his retirement match.

Speaker 3 (56:53):
That's why it's hard to believe that this is happening
without Goldberg getting his hand raised at some point in
the evening. He likes a triumphant more moment.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
He's not about the artistry the pageantry. You could tell
people that these records don't actually count. Goldberg would strongly,
strongly disagree those wins and losses matter because in a
real fight, he would be each and every one of

(57:25):
those guys.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
But but but Goldberg, this isn't his decision. I mean,
I don't disagree with anything you said about Goldberg, but
it's not his call. It wasn't his call to go
out and ruin Ray Wyatt, and as you said, murder him.
That was somebody else's call. So while I don't disagree,

(57:49):
I don't think any of that really matters.

Speaker 3 (57:53):
You think this was a there's one match on your
contract left, and we're in Atlanta, Georgia, July fourteenth, Goldberg,
you were wrestling that date that will be your retirement match?
Is that what you think happened with WWE? Because I
don't know what to.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Likely believe if he chose this date they did, if
it was just fortuitous because of location.

Speaker 1 (58:17):
No, Look, I don't think the location is by any
stretch coincidental. Goldberg wanted a retirement match. He wanted it
in WWE. If you'll remember, he tried to do it
on his own. He was going to do it in
Israel or some shit, and that didn't work out. WWE, Hey,

(58:39):
we'd love to host your retirement match bill, but we
ain't having you walk out whether dam bell, What good
does that do us? So I think there was some parameters. Yes,
we can certainly do this. It could be a high
profile match. We'll build it up, but at the end
of the day, you got to do business.

Speaker 3 (58:58):
It's the match that no one's asked, that no one
cares about. And you're wrong.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
Golberg's career in the ring has never been considered to
have many in ring classics, and I can't believe at
an older age will reach that this will be five
minutes if we're lucky, three minutes if we're super duper lucky.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
One can hope. As if all that wasn't enough, Micah,
We've still got another pl WWE evolution on Sunday on
the Peacock. This is your all women's pay per view.
JC Jane defends the NXD Women's title against Jordan Grace.

(59:45):
I'd love to say we get a new champion. I
bet we don't, though.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
I picked JC Jane and whoever her partner is to
win the tag match the night before, morning before somewhere
for brunch.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
I think in sometimes zone that means I'm taking Jordan
Grace to win this championship, the if not most second
most main roster ready woman being held down in an XT, and.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
I bet she stays in n XT. You know, Sky
defends the Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley. I don't
understand the whole Ria doesn't think she can be Sky thing.
You're Ria Ripley for crying out loud. Uh That being said,
I don't know that Rio walks out with the belt.
I don't know that she needs the belt, but she

(01:00:40):
probably shouldn't be losing clean here either.

Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Yeah, I agree with everything you said.

Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
Uh ww. Randomly at a point decided Damage Control wasn't
worth being a factship, and now they randomly tried to
tell us that Fairy Sky and the Kobuki Warriors, as
separate entities all really matter again, but they couldn't get
their issue together as a faction. Edosky went from an

(01:01:10):
afterthought to the world champion.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
And I don't think they've done well to establish her.
If you're trying to establish her, I guess she wins here.
If not, you give the title back to Ria Ripley.
My thought has been, why can't you be given it
back to her?

Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
At WrestleMania Fatal four Way for the Women's tag team
title match, Rakil Rodriguez, Roxane Perez versus Charlotte and Alexa
versus Soul Rucca and Zaria versus the Kabuki Warriors. Shit, Mike.
If I'm being honest, I don't have a dan Plu
who's gonna win this match.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
As soon as I saw Rockann Petit, Roxanne Petees lose
her singles match, love out the Assistant by Roquel Rodriguez
and get pin pretty cleanly by Kyrie, say that that's
all I need to know that Aaron Raquel will retain
the titles. We have to perpetuate the alienation of Live

(01:02:07):
Morgan from the judgment day, and we cannot do that
if they don't have the title belt. So everything has
been a rough start.

Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
But it will be a greener pasture, calm evolution of
their relationship.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
Battle Royal for a Women's World Championship match at the
Clash in Paris. We do know Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vakur,
Naya Jacks, Nikki Bella, Natalia, Maxim Dupri or will be
in the Battle Royal. We don't know who else, eh,
Nicki Bella.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
If the miss wasn't away doing American gladiators and pissing
off WWE right now, I would tell you it's Maurice
because they're gonna have the winner Russell in France. So
who's the most logical French participant Marie. That being said,
Nicki Bella has threatened us that this could be a

(01:03:01):
long term return cho WWEE. So I'm guessing that they're
gonna give her the title shot.

Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Who cares? We'll talk about that in a moment, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Ww Women's Championship. Tiffany Stratton defens against Trish Stratus. I
think Trish will give Tiffany a really good match. I
don't think we're putting the belt on Trish though. Tiffany
retains here.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
Who cares? Who's winning the Women's Gauntlet match Battle Royal
match to get a title shot? When anyone can just
get handed a title.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Shot like Tris Stratus all of a sudden is back
in WWEE. You know Tiffy's breast friend because when she
needed a tag team partner, who did she call? And
when she needs somebody that she can easily pin and
be because no one cares about Tiffy time. It's also
going to be triss statush, no holds barred Zeus versus
whole Coach.

Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Oh no, I'm sorry, no holds barred. Jade Cargill versus
Naomi Jade kind of looks like Zeus uh at this point.
Whether I want to be or not, I'm all in
on Jade. I would have Jade go over here. I
don't know if that's what they do or not, but
that would be my plan.

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
I'd hate to correct you, but this is Zeus versus
two quote Scorpio. From an athletic perspective, Hulk Cogan cannot
hold a handle to what Naomi can do in that ring.

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
You've never seen Hulk Cogan in Japan, my man, No.

Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
No, I have not. That sounds like one night in Tokyo.
I don't need.

Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
One night in China might be better. Triple threat for the
WWE Women's inter Continental Championship, Becky Lynch defends against Bailey
and Lyarra of Valkira. I'm going to assume Becky retains here.

Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
There's a good argument for all three. Honestly, beg of
your training her power trip beck Bailey maybe all whining
it one more, trying big showing it. Is she a face?
Is she a heel? Does this all matter? Has she
lost it? Did she get it back?

Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
Lyra Valcis are establishing yourself because they can't seem to
do that. There's a good argument for all three of them.

Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
Don't ever mention Bailey and Paul White in the same
breath again. I cannot believe, and I take that as
a personal insult Micah Bailey.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
I will give her credit. They literally have not changed
her character. They went from She's.

Speaker 3 (01:05:18):
The role model. Everybody was like bow. Now they're like
Bailey the role model. Everybody's like yay.

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
No, there was I love hugs, I hate hugs. I
kind of like hugs again. The hugs have gone away.

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
No, I just met recently in this little cycle in
the last couple of months.

Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
It went from Boo the role model to Yay the
role model. And she really hasn't changed.

Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
And that's where I was like, it's a little bit,
I don't know, it's not as entertaining. And my fear
about Bailey and you can correct me if I'm wrong
real quick. Could we see Bailey Reea Ripleys fall quickly
falling into Bailey status.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Yes, which is where all the women fall eventually. I mean, hell,
Charlotte's kind of there now. Yeah, yeah, I don't think
you're wrong on that. So ends the longest damn week
in the history of professional wrestling. It seems like I'm
sure it's not. There's a lot of crap going on
this weekend. I don't think we missed anything.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Micah, Well, real quick when you think about that, TNAWWE
and AW have their weekly shows not to mention these
five specials, holy bonanza of wrestling this week, and everybody
if we missed it, you definitely have to tell me
over on x APP rankle, Micah, because I couldn't tell you.
Oh wait, MJF invaded MLW to attack Miss Deica. We

(01:06:38):
could throw that out there too, to make sure everybody
gets a little mentioned.

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Today, I guess get the show on x at PW
After Hours. You can find me at Real Mike Curlisle.
Enjoy all the wrestling this week. We'll talk to you
next week for another episode of Pro Wrestling After Hours
here on the After Hours Podcast Network.
