L’8 dicembre 1943, tra le alture di Mignano, il neo-costituito Esercito Italiano combatte la sua prima battaglia al fianco degli Alleati: la conquista di Montelungo. In questo episodio ripercorriamo le ore decisive che segnarono il ritorno dell’Italia sul campo di battaglia dopo l’armistizio, il sacrificio dei reparti del Primo Raggruppamento Motorizzato e la guida determinata del generale Vincenzo Dapino. Un racconto intenso e documentato che restituisce il valore umano e storico di un evento simbolo del riscatto militare italiano nella Seconda guerra mondiale.
