Pietro Incerpi è nato il 13 nov. 1899 a Uzzano. Soldato di leva nel Regio Esercito nel 1917, nel corpo degli Alpini, dopo la costituzione della Regia Aereonautica, del 28 marzo 1923, diventa pilota nella Regia Aereonautica il 27 dicembre 1924. Come pilota partecipò a molti teatri guerra, in Libia, in Spagna, sul fronte Greco, Croato e Albanese. Sul fronte Croato gli fu assegnata una medaglia di Bronzo, “per instancabile attività di audacia e coraggio, suscitando in ogni circostanza, con l’esempio personale”.
