Speaker 1 (00:16):
We've been taught the alignment means ease, But what if
that's a myth? What if true alignment is raw, messy,
and sometimes looks like everything is falling apart. In this
episode of Rooted Frequency, we are diving into the death
of the seeker, the sacred unraveling of the part of
you that's always chasing more. What do we do when
(00:39):
we reach a point in which the spiritual striving keeps
us in a feeling of depletion, of lack. Is the
idea of alignment a myth that has distorted awakening? What
does it really mean to stop performing for the universe
and just be? Sometimes I find myself tired of searching,
(01:01):
overwhelmed in the wondering am I doing enough? Am I
doing this right? If those types of questions pull it
something within you, stick with me. We're going to pick
apart some foundational spiritual concepts that may shatter your belief
system in a really good way. This is death of
(01:22):
the spiritual seeker in the myth of alignment. Hello, Hello,
welcome back to Rioted Frequency. Everyone. Thank you so much
for joining me. I truly appreciate every single one of
you who gives me the time of day and who
reaches out with little comments, likes, and all of the
(01:43):
new subscribers, I do see you. And we also have
a lot of new Patreon subscribers. So I am just
thrilled that our community is growing, especially right now, I
just feel like moving into winter, we tend to hibernate
a bit and go inWORD and and that is when
we need this online community. Even if you're feeling like
(02:05):
you don't want to speak to anybody, popping on and
reading a blog post, popping on and leaving a comment
and having another fellow spiritual Journey seeker leave something in
response just means a lot, and it means a lot
to me, So I hope it means a lot to you.
I love you all, and I just I don't know.
(02:27):
I can't thank you enough for your support of this podcast.
Today I wanted to address something foundational alignment and how
we're constantly seeking right, We're constantly seeking growth, evolution of ourselves,
(02:49):
seeking who am I? What's my purpose? Seeking understanding of
this world as humans? Well, what if the seeker within
you dies? There are certain things within spirituality, within the
(03:11):
journey that I feel like are not talked about and
we've touched on some of those over our time together
with past episodes, and this is one of those important
foundational episodes because I think that there's a moment on
every spiritual path when something begins to crack open, not
(03:35):
in the world around you, but in the identity that
you've built around finding meaning. Okay, like, really listen to that.
So there's not a crack necessarily in the actual world,
but we build who we want to be within our space,
within the people we communicate with, within the people we
(03:58):
interact with. So we build this identity, and we build
meaning around seeking to strengthen that identity. We place meaning
around this seeking to give purpose. That's the human condition, right.
(04:20):
It starts quietly. A question you used to burn for
suddenly loses its fire. The books, the teachers, the rituals
that once felt like lifelines start to feel hollow. You're
completely obsessed with a podcast and you go down the
(04:42):
rabbit hole deep and then all of a sudden, it's
not that you don't like the podcast anymore, it's just
it's not speaking to you anymore. You're not hungry for
answers anymore. You go to these places that used to
light you up and they don't provide the same blifting
energy they once did. You find that you're just tired.
(05:06):
But it's not a hopeless tire. This isn't a sad thing.
It's not that you need to take a break and
then get back to it. It's more of an exhaustion
of the soul, that your soul's been running these laps
around the same truth again and again, trying to earn
what it already is. This I am calling the death
of the seeker. It's not a collapse of your faith.
(05:30):
It's the collapse of the self that believed faith was
something to achieve the good news. It's the end of chasing,
the end of that subtle feeling that there's still somewhere
else to get to something that you have not yet unlocked.
(05:52):
We start to give up this sense that we need
to become a particular version of ourselves in order to
be worthy of this piece that we keep getting glimpses of.
For a long time, I thought awakening was about collecting knowledge,
(06:13):
and don't get me wrong, it is a huge piece
the reading, the studying, the expansion, absorbing. But it has
come to my realization that this is a season the
seeker phase is sacred. It's how we stretch open our
(06:36):
perception and taste what's beyond the illusion. But after a while,
the seeking starts to turn on itself. It becomes a loop,
a constant scanning of the horizon for the next truth,
the next teacher, the next frequency upgrade. It's almost addicting,
(06:58):
and it's sneaky because it feels spiritual, it feels productive,
but really the seeker is just another mask for the
wound itself, the part of us that's convinced it's not enough.
(07:20):
The seeker dies when you finally get honest enough to
admit to yourself that there's nothing left chase. And it's
not because you found everything, but more because there's nothing
missing anymore. And that realization in itself sounds peaceful, but
(07:46):
it is brutal. And that's what we're talking about today
because purpose. We need purpose as humans. And the Secret
Role gave you purpose, It gave you a role, It
gave you a reason to wake up and search for meaning.
And when that identity dissolves, there's a void, a space
(08:09):
where the old hunger used to live, and the void
will test you who am I now? Well? This is
where the myth of alignment creeps in. We've been conditioned
to believe that alignment is the reward for getting it right,
(08:30):
that when we finally vibrate high enough, clear enough, healed enough,
everything flows easily. We start to equate flow with proof
that we're doing the spiritual work correctly. That's not truth,
that's performance. Alignment has been sold to us, and it's
(08:56):
sold to us in a static state, a bad of success.
I reached alignment. But I'm here to tell you that
real alignment isn't still. It's wild, it's alive. It's chaos
and clarity sharing the same breath. Real Alignment will tear
(09:23):
things down. It burns what no longer matches your frequency,
even when that's the job that you've been praying for,
or the relationship that you thought was forever, this identity
that you've built your life around. Alignment doesn't always look
(09:45):
like ease, and that is something I am really trying
to drill in these days to myself and anyone else
who needs to hear it. Sometimes alignment looks like demo
because the universe isn't concerned with our comfort, it's concerned
(10:07):
with our coherence. There was a time in my own
path where everything that once felt align began to unravel,
my business, my goals, even my understanding of who I was.
It was like I felt like everything was in alignment.
(10:27):
I understood exactly who I was, what type of healer
I was, what my purpose was. And then it all
fell apart, and I remember thinking, how could this possibly
be alignment? I thought alignment meant flow, and here I
was drowning in uncertainty. But what kind of hit me,
(10:53):
like a ton of bricks over the head, was that
that unraveling was the most honest alignment that I'd ever experienced,
because it stripped away everything that was built on striving.
(11:13):
The truth is, you don't find alignment, you remember it.
It is not a destination. It's an echo of your
natural rhythm. When you stop performing for the universe, you
see you can't lose alignment because you can't lose what
(11:36):
you are. You can only lose the illusions that keep
you from seeing it. And those illusions they often wear
spiritual clothing, and while we meanwhile within the spiritual community
(11:59):
sometimes need to acknowledge what is setting us back or
keeping us in a state of delusion. The belief that
if you meditate more manifest harder or stay high vibe,
you'll somehow transcend the human messiness that keeps showing up.
(12:19):
But that's not enlightenment, that's avoidance. We live in a
culture that's obsessed with perpetual self optimization. Even spirituality has
been packaged like a self improvement course, which is part
(12:40):
of the reason why no matter how many times people
tell me that that is the way to build my business,
is to package all my stuff up with a neat
little bow and offer all of this stuff, I can't
do it. I cannot package something that you all have
within you. Sorry, I am any different than any of you,
(13:01):
except for the time that I've put in towards being
a seeker and sharing my path with you. I have
found that the myth of alignment tells us that if
we feel stuck, blocked, or lost, it means we're out
of sync, that we need to raise our vibration or
(13:27):
shift our mindset. But what if we added into those
options being out of sync? What if being out of
sync is the medicine we sometimes need. So when we're
feeling misaligned, lost and we think I need to get
(13:54):
back to it, but meditation is the last thing you
feel like doing or listening to some guru that is
in a different place than you right now that yes,
at one time spoke to you and that helped you
in a certain part of your path. But at this
point it's just sort of rubbing this illusion of alignment
(14:18):
in your face. What if sometimes we need moments of stagnance.
That's what I'm always trying to share with you, guys.
I've had glimpses of alignment and glimpses of being on
my path only to be shoved right back to the
(14:39):
beginning by the universe, and yet at the same time
it's the most growth I've ever experienced. I want you
to understand that these moments are not moments that you
are experiencing alone. The heartbreaks, the confusion, those things can
(14:59):
be these shifts to be more aligned with what you need.
But it's just in disguise, because alignment isn't always going
to be this easy flow. Alignment isn't always clarity. Sometimes
it's contraction. Sometimes it's the soul pulling you back so
(15:23):
you can remember how to expand. Again, we need to
stop thinking about all of these things as these linear
growth patterns. It's cyclical, even seasonal and it's organic. So
(15:46):
whatever you're feeling, whatever chapter you're on or section you're
on in the spiritual handbook, is correct. And there's this
part of you that doesn't like that, and that's the seeker,
because the seeker wants progression, achievement, evidence that all the
(16:07):
inner work is working. But when the seeker dies, you
stop asking is this working, and you get to a
more real place, not is this working? But is this real?
Because real alignment doesn't always feel good. Sometimes real alignment
(16:35):
is grief or the ending of something that you prayed
would last forever. Sometimes it's being asked to let go
of everything that gave your life meaning, and it's hard
(16:56):
and scary. But when you stop resisting this unraveling, something
quiet emerges underneath, and it's deeper than flow. It's peace,
(17:18):
and it's a beautiful piece because it's not the piece
of perfection, but the piece of surrender. You see, the
death of the seeker isn't a failure, it's a graduation.
It's the point where you no longer need spirituality to
(17:39):
fix you because you remember that you were never broken.
It's where the path stops being about what you do
and about how you are because you're stopping this constant
(17:59):
need to try to align, and you start living as
alignment itself. That's the truth that we're seeking, that clarity
that we're seeking. When the secret dies, the soul takes
a deep breath and it finally gets to live without
(18:22):
a destination, and in that stillness, truth begins to speak again,
not coming in in riddles or revelations or channeled perfect downloads,
but in the ordinary rhythm of of being you, beautiful human.
(18:42):
Maybe alignment was never about getting life to feel good.
Maybe it was about feeling life fully. Isn't that what
you would want if you came to this planet to
live as a human, live life fully, feel all of
the things good and the bad, without this constant need
(19:07):
to rearrange it into something spiritual. That everything is meant
to be for a reason that we have to analyze it.
Maybe we just need to be. Maybe we just need
to accept that this is my current state and it's beautiful.
(19:29):
Maybe the point was never to ascent, but to root,
to bring Heaven down into the soil of our humanity
and let them coexist. When the Seeker dies, you begin
to see that there was never a separation between the
(19:50):
spiritual and the mundane, doing the dishes, driving your kids
to school, sitting in silence after a heartbreak. It's all
God in motion. It's all alignment because you are the alignment.
(20:12):
You are the alignment. If you're in a season right
now where nothing feels certain, where all the signs are
quiet and the path feels invisible, you are not lost.
(20:37):
You're being stripped of the illusion that you need direction
to be divine. This is what it feels like when
the seekert dissolves. Letting yourself stop chasing, allowing yourself to
rest in the unknowing. Find that rhythm underneath your chaos,
(21:05):
that rhythm that goes I know where we're going. You
don't have to hold your frequency anymore. You are the frequency.
Everything is changing right now, all around us, and this
is so important, this message that you are in alignment.
(21:29):
You are the frequency. You are absolutely amazing, and you
need to start leaning into that truth. I'm all about
the truth. The universe isn't testing you, it's tuning you.
Every detour, every silence, every dismantling part of your journey.
(21:52):
It's part of the melody. So if you've reached the
end of your seeking, congratulations, you've arrived at the threshold
of truth where there's nowhere left to get to and
yet everything begins again. Stop trying to be aligned, Just
(22:17):
be honest, be present, be human. That's where the real
alignment lives, in the quiet courage of being fully here,
(22:37):
because the death of the seeker isn't the end of
your awakening. It's this beautiful moment where you realize that
you were awake the whole time. Thank you so much
