Dr. Shaw brings his unique perspective as a pastor, entrepreneur, and advocate for cultural transformation to a conversation that blends faith, leadership, and unapologetic patriotism.

🔴 What is the “Seven Mountains” strategy, and why does it matter for the future of America?
🔴 How can faith communities stand strong in the face of cultural and political opposition?
🔴 Why Dr. Shaw believes Asian-American voices are critical in the conservative movement.

Listeners will hear Dr. Shaw’s vision for reclaiming influence in media, education, government, business, religion, arts, and family — all while holding true to Biblical values. This powerful dialogue is a call-to-action for Christians, conservatives, and anyone concerned about America’s cultural direction.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Las Vegas, Nevada. It's time for straight talk and real solution.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We're breaking down the issues that matter to you with
no spend, just the truth.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
From the strip to mainstream.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We're keeping it real for hard working Americans.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
This is Talk with a Conservative, Open conversation, with intelligent explanation.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Las Vegas and Nevada, let's talk. Welcome to talk with
a Conservative. I'm Garbind Brinkley and I youn for AB
one in twenty twenty two and again in twenty twenty four.
I'm a retired university professor, and I'm Patricia Brinkley, and

(00:45):
I run for SD one North.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Las Vegas, and I am an attorney at law, and
welcome to talk with a Conservative.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Tonight, we're joined by special guest Jeff Compton, who's the
owner of the Trump Store here in Las Vegas and
hal Shaw and he wears many hats, so he's a
fascinating guest.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
So let's welcome Jess.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Hello, Patricia, Hello Garlands.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Great to be with you tonight, Thank you for Joining'm
doing well, Thank.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
You, Jeff.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
It's like Patricia and I have been to the Trump
Store and we just find it amazing and fascinating and
the last time we were there. There's a couple other
customers that we talked to. Could you share some stories
about the customers that come in to your store?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Sure, you know, Uh, the customers that come in talk
about all sorts of different topics, mostly just whatever's on
their mind, of course, and I find it fascinating to hear,
you know, what they have to say. Probably the number
one thing that people talk about now is just how

(01:58):
law and order seems to be back. And they reminisce
about the previous four years under the Biden administration, and
it just appeared that there was lawlessness and you know,
a lot of violence and theft, and the border was open,
and it seemed like things were out of control or unsettling.

(02:22):
And now people talk about how it feels good that
there is some sort of sense of law and order back,
that things are starting to make sense again in their mind.
So that's probably the number one sentiment that I hear.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Wow, it's like I can think about with the Ice
agents and the twelve million illegal aliens that came into
the country during the Biden years. And also if you
look at shoplifting, we've seen all the videos and youtubes
of people running the stores from running out. It seems
like they're enforcing and catching a lot of those people

(03:01):
that's doing that.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, go ahead, yeah, and and and that's exactly what
people are talking about, That that that they feel that
that that that stuff does not go on unchecked anymore.
That that that it's that the page is turning, if
you will, to a little bit more uh, law and
order like we're accustomed to in our in the history

(03:27):
of the United States.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
We're safer now.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Well, you have to make sure that we continue to
vote the right way to continue those appearances of security.
So yeah, let's say, uh, how when people come into
your store, what are they amazed about the.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Most that we're here, That that you can have a
conservative leaning store in Las Vegas. And that's the first
thing they asked me is wow, you know what, why
did you choose to open here? And you know you're

(04:14):
going to see the amazement in their face when they
walk in, which which is interesting too, because a couple
people have mentioned that that it's okay to be a
conservative again, right, that that over the previous four years
or so that they have been somewhere sometimes uneasy about

(04:39):
expressing their conservative feelings about when they're out in social
groups that they feel that they can express how they
feel politically. And now people are feel how would you say,
okay to talk about what they're thinking, and that it's

(05:03):
cool to be a conservative again. You know. I find
it interesting too that people come in looking for the
red hat, right, that come in that they make America
great again. People are buying that hat with pride and
they want to wear it because of the feeling that

(05:26):
they have about the United States being back, and I
think that's pretty neat.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Well, you know, I've had something today and I forget
what state, but it was a local soccer stadium that
stated that they would not allow mega attire in their stadium.
So not everybody's welcoming this change of attitude in our country,

(05:54):
you know.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
And that's the same because you look at what our
country was built on. Right is the uh freedom of speech?
You know that that that that you can have a
opposing opinion and you could still be respected, you could
still be treated nicely, and you should be free to
express that opinion. It seems a shame to me that

(06:19):
that a stadium would say that you can't bring in
certain you know, bring in a tire that has certain
phrases on it. Uh, you know it's a opinion.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yes, and that's a shame censorship. Else's first Amendment right
for free speech or or to wear whatever attire that
they feel benefits them. So yeah, unfortunately we still have
to deal with that.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
So yes, although we we I was going to say,
we do have red hats that say relax. It's just
a red hat, that's right. And we're right on the
corner a Sahara and Paradise, easy to get in. He's
to get out a nice parking lot, so it's commediately
located for everybody in the valley.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
And you know, Jeff, we saw you last week and
we were at the a Hearn Hotel and someone there
didn't even realize that you had opened up a store
and it was right down the street from the a Hearn.
So hopefully that individual was able to get down there
and purchase something.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
You know, that is the trickiest part. It's getting everybody
to know where we are and to come on in right,
the awareness.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah, so let's just tell the listeners that's right.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
And the other thing that people talk a lot about
is inflation and the way that inflation was out of
control for the last four years or so, and prices
spiked and they're feeling good that certain big parts of
the economy. Energy gasoline hits everybody. You know, everybody talks

(07:57):
about eggs and how you know they've come back to
a reasonable price.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, okay, Jeff, So just give us your address one
more time so the listeners know where to find you.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Sure, we're at twenty two to twenty Paradise Road, right
on the corner of Paradise and Sarah.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Thank you Jeff Compton for being on top of a
conservative and so we'll.

Speaker 5 (08:23):

are unfamiliar with Patriot Academy, they offer videos teaching both
Biblical citizenship and constitution alive in your home, your church,
or any other organization you can show these videos. Doctor

(09:46):
Shaw deeply believes that as Americans, we need to learn
and defend the Constitution. In addition, you will learn how
we can rebuild liberty in time for the country's twenty
two hundred and fiftieth birthday.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Excuse me.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Doctor Howe is also the chair of the Southern Nevada

Speaker 7 (10:24):
Thank you so much, Patricia Garland. It's such a pleasure
to be here with you tonight.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Okay, I just want to let our listeners know our
telephone number is seven zero two two two one seven
two eighty three, or you can reach us on x
at TWAC Radio show or emails at twacradio show at
gmail dot com. So, doctor Shaw, can you please share
what discipline your doctor? Sin?

Speaker 7 (10:51):
Absolutely well, my doctor is actually with the United Graduate
College and Seminary International. It's an honorary doctor in the Humanities,
and I was given this honor due to all the
community service and everything I've been putting in for the.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Past five years or so.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
With that said, though I did graduate from a real university.
I went to Stanford in Palo Alto. I was actually
a mechanical engineer slash artist. We called them product designers.
So it was a very very interesting discipline because you know,
you had to be super technical, yet at the same

(11:32):
time you're an artistic you know, a person is as well.
And I ended up working for a design firm called
Frog Design, and we did Apple computers first computers when
they first came out, I mean after that kind of
the beij you know, friendly Mac, they kind of turned gray,
remember that.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
So that was us Oh okay, okay. So I know
that we were collegiate rivals because we were Colbert.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
So Bear.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
What's the tree called.

Speaker 7 (12:04):
Or the Cardinal cardon Yeah, we're the Cardinal Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
So I just want to let this put this in
here right now. I think we have a caller. Hello caller. Okay, Oh,
while we're trying to get the caller, I just want
to remind you that our Conservative Town Hall of North
Las Vegas is this Thursday, August seventh, from eleven thirty
to one thirty at eighteen seventy West Craig Road in

(12:29):
North Las Vegas. Our guest speaker this month will be
Cody Whipple, candidate for a congressional district for Come join
us and bring a friend.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I also want to give a shout out, and you
guys know about shout out to you? Can you actually
give us the information and we'll give three different announcements
during the show and tonight. The shout out is for
a tenth wedding anniversary and it's for a couple, very
very nice couple named Patricia Brinkley and Garland brink Oh.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
I know those people.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I know our university is coming up on Saturday, August ninth,
ten years and so shout out to my husband, Garland Brinkley. Okay, So,
how Garland and I have both taken the Biblical Citizenship
Class and Constitutional Live and we highly recommended both classes

(13:26):
to our listeners but in law school I didn't get
the same type of understanding that I did through the
Constitutional Live. But we have a caller, so let's go
to the caller right now. Hello, Hello, Hello.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
This is Nairn Hi talker.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Hello, Nan. How are you do you have?

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I am well, I'm just I'm just listening in.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Okay, Well, thank you for that. But do you have
a question for doctor Shaw?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Oh no, I don't.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
I'm sorry. I just was on mute and then the
moderator came.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
On and said, hey, you have to speak up. So
but we were talking about the young, the classes, biblical citizenship,
and constitutional love. Have you taken either one or both
of those?

Speaker 4 (14:10):
I'm not proud to say I have not.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
There's still time.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yes, and Garland, I I know.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
And if memory serves Nan, you're actually going to be
running for office and you ran in the last election.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
I did run in the last election, yes, indeed, and
narrowly lost. So this time I'm going to kill it.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
O Nan.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
So we're going to welcome you on our show sometime
in the near future. I hope that you do.

Speaker 8 (14:43):
I really hope.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
That you do.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
We will be happy to Actually, you know what I
could ask pastor hollow question. Have there been any changes
to the curriculum given what the current administration has done,
will do, might not do.

Speaker 7 (15:00):
Hmmm, well, that's a great question. In terms of the
curriculum itself, since they're you know, videotaped from you know,
a couple of years ago, that probably won't change. However,
we do have supplemental uh information coming out, and there's
a brand new curriculum called Rebuilding Liberty and that is

(15:21):
literally being launched right now here in August. And that's
all very very fresh. So I'm really excited to bring
this to everybody as well. And it's actually only a
four class course and each class is about an hour,
so it's actually a much less of a big time
commitment like the other classes can be.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (15:40):
So I'm just really excited to get everyone involved with
Rebuilding Liberty.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Okay, and our number again yeap, okay, thank you, Nan.
And our our number again is seven zero two two
two one seven two eight three. So and I was
gonna he's going to ask you, how how did you
get involved in facilitating these courses.

Speaker 7 (16:05):
Oh, that's a great question. Let me get back to
just what the courses are first, So Patriot academy started
about twenty five years ago by a guy named Rick Green.
He was actually in the Texas Legislature. He was a representative,
and when he got there, he realized that nobody understood
the constitution, even his fellow you know, representatives. So he

(16:27):
put it upon himself to train up the next generation.
So they started this thing called the Leadership Congress where
these young people would come to at that point, the
Texas House and they would actually do mock Congress. They
would all learn how to write bills, how to run
through committees, you know, what people's roles are on the floor,

(16:49):
and what it means to do debate and that kind
of thing. Really really great stuff. And now I know
this because two years ago they opened it up to
us adults and we went through the Leadership Congress. It's
called the Coach Congress, and it was just a wonderful,
wonderful experience. And if anyone is interested in becoming a legislator, legislator,

(17:12):
they should go through this class because it really is
not only do they teach you the understanding of how
laws are made, but you actually experience it. It's a simulation.
So it's wonderful and people get really into it too.
I mean, passions come up just.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Like the real things.

Speaker 7 (17:29):
So yeah, So now with that, when Rick was doing
these constitution classes, they were taking them and people love them.
You know, Rick is a bit of a stand up
comedian himself, so you know, all of the classes were
really really interesting. The material can be very dry, but
the way Rick presents it, it's actually super interesting. And

(17:51):
the thing that really sets apart Patriot Academy from the
other sources of constitutional education like Hills Day and these
other colleges is that he gets into the actual Founding
Father's faith that the whole Constitution is actually based upon
the Christian Bible.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
And I had never heard that before.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
You know, I'm a Christian, and you know, I went
through high school constitution class and everything, but I had
never understood that. And you know, so many revisionist historians
now are trying to make it seem like the Founding
Fathers were all either atheists or agnostics.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
Or deists or something like that.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
No, almost to the last every one of them was
a sold out Christian. And that's the reason why our
Constitution is the way it is now. With that said,
because of that kind of understanding, you know, Rick Wanner
to bring constitutional life to churches. Unfortunately, most of the

(18:54):
churches turned him down because of this thing called separation
of church and state, which there isn't, which well there is,
but it's not the way we understand it, because the
way it has become is that church is never supposed
to you dabble in in in the politics. Well, in reality,
it was always the other way around, because that whole u.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
String of words separations.

Speaker 7 (19:19):
Of Christian state is not in the Constitution. It's not
in the Declaration of Independence, it's not in the Magna Carta,
it's not in the Mayflower Compact, it's none, none of those.
It's only found in a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote
to the Danbury Baptist Association. Now Thomas Jefferson was the
president at that point. Now you have to understand that

(19:41):
in the First Amendment, when they talk about the freedom
of religion, from the Founding Father's point of view, the
only religion was the Christian religion. So there is a
freedom of practicing your Christianity. That's really what they meant.
And this whole idea of freedom was it was about
denominations because or the congregation lists, the Presbyterians or the

(20:02):
Lutherans or the Methodists and that sort of thing. Yeah,
and remember where they came from. They came from a
place where there was only one denomination practiced, the Anglican Church,
right the Church of England, and you had to be
a part of that church or you're out. That was
the kind of freedom of religion that they were talking about.
And the Danberry Baptists were afraid that the new United

(20:24):
States government will come up with their own American religion
and everyone had to be a part of that. And
that's when Thomas Jeffers is no, there's a high wall
separating the church and the state, meaning the state would
never dabble in the affairs of the church. Somehow though
over the years the progressives had gotten around it. That's

(20:45):
what they do. They play with words to the point
where they get you so confused that you flip it around.
And that's what separation church and state is. Currently, however,
there's a brand new I don't know what you notification
from the irs because you know where you find this
actually in law is in the five oh one C

(21:09):
three Code for nonprofits exactly because as a five oh
one C three you're in the regulations. You're not allowed
to speak about anything political. You can't todorse a candidate,
can't talk about the laws and everything like that. Well,
that's actually against the First Amendment. That's freedom of speech

(21:30):
and freedom of religion. So just this past year, and
I mean meeting three weeks ago, the IRIS put out
a letter saying that we will allow pastors now to
endorsed candidates and be political from the pulpit without any retribution.
So praise God, you know that is actually happening now.

(21:51):
Of course, the next step is to eliminate it completely.
This is called the Johnson Amendment for those of you
that don't know. So I'm very very excited for what's
going on, and God is definitely on the move.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
So you know, it's interesting that taking these classes we
learn what the founding's father's original intent was, and they
don't teach you that in law school.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
No, they don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
They that's something that any one that's gone to law
school or taken constitutional classes, they're not going to find
that there because they don't take the time to go
and read these books that these founding fathers wrote.

Speaker 7 (22:27):
That's correct, and it's not really their fault either. It's
the curriculum, yes, because it's all about what they call it,
the last precedent that was set that becomes the law.
And so that's how the progressive is gone. The progression
is gone. But that's why we have to make sure
to put in originalists and constitutionalists into the places of

(22:52):
the judiciary, because they're the ones that are going to
start whether or not a law is constitutional or not. Okay,
I did not finish the Biblical citizenship part. The reason
why Biblical decision came about was because Rick was getting
such a pushback from the churches because of separation and state.
So he went and actually created curriculum that actually goes
into the Bible, goes into the Founding Fathers, goes into

(23:15):
a century before the Declaration of Independence was written. All
the topics of the Declaration of Independence were actually being
preached from the pulpits in America. So just to show
that indeed the founding of this country is based upon
Biblical principles. So that's a bilical relationship does so Okay,
we have a caller.

Speaker 8 (23:35):
Hello, caller, Hello, this is Mike checking in.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Everyone, Well, I'm just fine, really enjoying your show and
enjoyed your talk with Jeff.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
That was just great.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
And doctor Howe, we got a gang up on.

Speaker 8 (23:50):
Those cow Bears.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I had two grandchildren.

Speaker 8 (23:52):
Who went to Stanford Go treat.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
One of them.

Speaker 8 (23:57):
Played on the soccer team and they won two national
championships and clawvered cow Bears every time.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Oh fantastic. I'm glad to hear that.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Anyway, Mike question as far as the Patriot Academy, Yes,
is that geared towards younger adults or all ages or
how would you explain that?

Speaker 7 (24:19):
So the Leadership Congress is more for young adults. It's
literally from high school all the way up to I
think the cut off is twenty six twenty seven. But
it'll go make exceptions either way, especially if you have
a really mature young person or someone who's older but
have really got a passion for wanting to serve and

(24:40):
actually think maybe run for office. They'll be happy to
make those kinds of flexibility to let people in. There's
also though adult congresses, like I just went three months
ago to one of the first. It's called the Patriot Experience,
and you basically get to do the same thing as
the kids get to do. You sit in through lectures,

(25:02):
you're assigned the committee, you go through, you actually have
to write a bill of your own. They teach you
how to do that. You debate it within the committee.
You know, if you pass through committee, you bring it
to the floor. You debate it on the floor with everyone.
You know, learn Robberts, rules of order and stuff. It's
it's fascinating and you know, you really get into it.
But what's really cool about is you really understand how

(25:24):
the sausage gets made. It really brings a much deeper
understanding and a much more you develop an appreciation for
what the guys that we send up there actually have
to do because you know this whole idea of backroom deals,
that's how it happens. So like, hey, i'll support your
bill if you support my bill. That even happens within

(25:47):
our simulations.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
That's just the way it works. So you got to
learn how to do that.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
But I think Mike was asking about the Biblical Citizenship
class and.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
The class Oh okay, the classes as for any every age,
every age. Yes, matter of fact, I had the great
privilege of bringing the Constitutional, Live and Biblicalistship curriculum to
a bunch of homeschoolers and In the homeschool that I taught,
there's literally five year olds all the way up to
you know, seventeen year olds. So that's absolutely for the young.

(26:18):
But obviously the tea courses that I hold are really.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
More for the adults.

Speaker 7 (26:23):
So you know, we come together, we watch the videos,
and we have our conversations, and you know, you learn
a lot through the videos, there's no doubt. But what's
even more exciting, though, is you learn from each other
because we sit around in the circle and talk about
what we.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
Just saw on the screen.

Also time for the shout out again for someone's tenth
wedding anniversary, and it's Patricia Brinkley and Garland Brinkley, your
co hosts here and also the co founders of the
North Las Vegas Conservative town.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Hall, which will you will be meeting this Thursday at
eighteen seventy Wes Craig Row from eleven thirty to one
thirty and our guest speaker will be Cody Whipple for
CD four. And also I just want to say, doctor Shaw,
you also are the founder of the Henderson Conservatives. Yes,

(29:46):
can you tell us a little bit about that organization?

Speaker 7 (29:49):
I'd be so happy too because it happens to involve
our hosts today. So I had, you know, I kind
of hang out on Facebook and then and I saw
that Patricia had posted, well, we had these people come
up from Henderson to our town hall in North Las
Vegas and they asked whether or not there was anything

(30:11):
like this in Henderson. So she put it out there
is there anything like this? In Henderson, and I kind
of waited to see if anybody would answer, and as
it turned out, nothing nothing. So I thought, Okay, God,
are you telling me something here? And so I started
to look into well, maybe we need to do something
like what Garland and Patricia doing up in North Las Vegas.

(30:34):
Here you're in Henderson, because we need to create that community.
I mean, the whole reason why we do these things
is so that we can get conservatives together and we
can actually be ourselves. You know, I loved when you
guys are talking with Jeff how Yeah, it's amazing that
we as conservatives are beginning to come out of our
shells because we have been self censoring all this time

(30:56):
because of all the craziness that's been going on. And
so now I think it's just the right time to
actually create these communities and have a unified voice and
at least learn, you know, what's going on in the
political world.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Okay, this is also a chance for you to plug
your Henderson Conservatives day and time.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Of course, and we meet.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
Every fourth Thursday of the month in the evening. We
actually have dinner. We meet at Romano Italiano Mercado in
the Inspirada it's right there in the central Park area.
It's beautiful, beautiful place. Seating is limited though, I mean
just this past time we had Bobby Khan as our guest.

(31:41):
We packed the place up. I mean there's at least
fifty sixty people there and standing room only. So when
our next speaker is going to confirm, we should be
confirming any day now. We'll have the flyers up on Facebook.
There's a QR code. You use that to sign up,
and this time we're not going to let you in
unless you actually signed up, okay, so just make sure

(32:03):
you know that. So again every fourth Thursday in in Sporata,
starting at six o'clock and we end at eight. So restaurant, Yes,
it's a four star restaurant for sure.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
So now with that.

Speaker 7 (32:16):
Said, though, because of you know you guys and the
wonderful model that you created, I thought, okay, I'm gonna
kind of do the same thing, and I started to
walk forward and as God would allow, So this is
a free dinner. You cannot lose, okay, because no matter what,
you're gonna come and get filled physically.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
With beautiful and wonderful food.

Speaker 7 (32:41):
And get filled spiritually as well. Now with that said,
I do thank you once again. You know you might
my first time. You know, I had you guys stand
up because you were my inspiration. So I just thank
you and then thank what. You know, I thank God
for what God is doing through you guys. Just keep going.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
So, yeah, you're making us blush. But anyhow, so moving
right along, you said it in your bio that you
wanted to collaborate with others to bring unity to Clark
County Republican Party. Yes, how do you plan to accomplish
that goal?

Speaker 5 (33:19):
Well, part of it is.

Speaker 7 (33:21):
One of the other organizations I'm aligned with is Turning Point.
You know, everyone knows who's Charlie Kirk is. I'm sure
he started an organization called Turning Point USA, which is
a five oh one C three, So as a five
one C three though they couldn't again because of the
you know, Johnson Amendment, they couldn't endorse candidates. So they
started a pack action committee called Turning Point Action, so

(33:44):
that's a five one C four. They created coalitions, so
there's a mom's coalition, there's a farmer's coalition, there's a
Mega coalition, now a health coalition, and there's a faith coalition.
I happen to be the chair of the Southern Nevada
Faith Coalition for Turning Point Action.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
My way of.

Speaker 7 (34:03):
Unifying everybody is to try and get as many churches
to join this coalition so we can walk arm in
arm and just go out there. You know, it's all
about boots on the ground, the door knocking, the telephone calling,
the registration outreach, and you know, just making sure that
we can get people to the polls. That's all going

(34:24):
to be very very important, especially coming up for this
midterm because for again, as the church, we need to
stand up for biblical principles. Abortion is just one of
those things that God does not smile upon, right, And
there's this thing called Question six that's coming up that
will actually create an amendment to the Constitution of Nevada

(34:48):
for abortion. Now, folks, abortion is already legal in the
state of Nevada. You don't need this amendment. And people
have been sold bail goods that have been completely wrong.
Because you know, if you you've probably been into a
grocery store and a guy with a clipper comes up
to you and says, oh, yeah, are you for women's

(35:09):
women's health rights? And of course I'm for women's health rights.
And you signed thing that was the Question six petition
to get abortion in the constitution. That was, you know,
and that's what democrats do. They lie, Unfortunately, they deceive.
Well think about it, right.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
The great deceiver?

Speaker 7 (35:30):
Right?

Speaker 5 (35:31):
Come on? Or do you think where's the source of
all this?

Speaker 7 (35:34):
So that's why we as the church have to stand
up in this midterm to defeat Question six. All right,
So I'm praying that that's going to be enough to
get people over the hump of this fear that somehow
they're not supposed to get political. But then again, this
kind of education will help them to see that it is,

(35:56):
you know, it is the church's role to be the
more compass in the state. There's no other question, okay,
And of course the rebuilding Liberty class that's coming up,
there's also going to be a really good segment on
that as well.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
So we have a caller, Hello, caller, how you doing,
miss Brinkley. I'm well, how are you? And who are you?

Speaker 8 (36:20):
Frank? Friends?

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yes, hello, Frank, how are you?

Speaker 8 (36:24):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Do you have a question for doctor how?

Speaker 8 (36:29):
Well? Yeah, So I believe it's not just that it's
legal in the statement that I believe what they did
was try to manipulate it to the point that it'll
be six months to nine months legal. What is the
plan to educate independent voters because that's usually the market
that we're missing on the fact that it's going from
six months to nine months, that's how evil this is.

(36:52):
What are we doing to educate the independent voters about that?

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Absolutely? Well, thanks Frank for calling in. The way the
word is going to get out.

Speaker 7 (37:00):
Is through many, many voices, and that's again why I
think this coalition is so important, because if the pastors
actually start to talk about it from their pulpits, then
people will know. And then those people can take their friends,
you know, their sphere of influence and say, hey, do
you really know what's going on here in question six?
And there are many many other organizations that are trying

(37:21):
to get the word out, like a Nevada Right to Life,
of all the moms organizations, you know, Moms for Liberty,
they all understand the reality of question six. And yeah,
the more education we can get out there, the more,
I'm sure, because I know that most people, even if
you're a Democrat, they don't want abortionate you know, up

(37:44):
to nine months. Come on, I mean that's been fantaside truly,
So yeah, yeah, absolutely. But the way I think the
best way of doing it is that we have to
learn that silence is consent. You know, if we're a
Christian and we stay silent on this whole issue, we're

(38:05):
basically saying, yeah, it's okay to kill your kids at
nine months, you know, gestation. So we need to teach
people to not be afraid and to speak out against
the evil. So I think that's the best way of
combating this question six issue.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
And thank you Frank for your question. Okay, okay, so
one more thing. How on your bile He said, you
want to plan to bring righteousness back to our state
and local government.

Speaker 8 (38:40):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yes, Before you tell us how you're going to do that,
I want you to define righteousness for us.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
Very good.

Speaker 7 (38:47):
Well, when I speak about righteousness, it means.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
God's ways right.

Speaker 7 (38:52):
Our ways are not God's ways. His ways are higher
than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
In the Bible, it talks about a code of ethics
that is righteousness.

Speaker 5 (39:06):
So if we go against that code, we are.

Speaker 7 (39:08):
Not being righteous. And the way we're going to get
righteousness back is that we have to elect people who
are God's people who are righteous. That does not necessarily
mean that they have to be a Christian or any denomination,
but they have to have a general fear of God.
You know, when the Funding Fathers came up with this constitution,

(39:29):
there's a quote from one of the Funding fathers, I
can't remember exactly who it was, but he said that
this constitution is no good unless you have people who
have a fear of the future of basically rewards and
punishments after their life. Because if you think about it,

(39:50):
if you're a godless person, then you'll just try and
get away with anything you can while you're here because
there's no other there's no other punishment or.

Speaker 5 (39:59):
Reward after you.

Speaker 7 (40:00):
But for those of us that are people of God,
we know that there's a heaven and a hell, and
we want to just stay out of hell be a
part of the Kingdom of God.

Speaker 5 (40:11):
So that's why we.

Speaker 7 (40:12):
Make decisions on this earth in a way that is
honoring God and that we fear his retribution rather than
other people, you know, the fear of man. So that's
what obas Good balls down to.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Okay, I just want to let our listeners know our
call in number is seven zero two two two one
seven two eight three. We have our email Twack Radio
show at Gmail, and we're on x AS Twack Radio Show.
And so I also I want to remind our listeners
that Thursday, August seventh is our Conservative town Hall of

(40:50):
North Las Vegas. Our guest speaker would be Cody Whipple.
We meet at eighteen seventy West Craig Road in North
Las Vegas and the time is eleven thirty to one thirty.
So if you have no plans for lunch, come and
join us, bring a friend. We look forward to meeting you.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
And that's actually two days before Patricia and my tenth
wedding anniversary, and you can meet us in person. I
don't suggest you bringing any anniversary presidents till oh.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
No, no, don't kill them. Not to do that. Often
use a good president. Okay, So how as we close up,
are there any final thoughts or comments you want to
share with our listeners.

Speaker 7 (41:36):
Well, actually, yeah, a couple of things that are coming up.
Does everyone know what the significance of September seventeenth is?

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Yes, I do, I'm right. Constitution Day, oh rah.

Speaker 7 (41:50):
That is the day that the Constitution was signed and
actually it's a federal law for all public schools to
teach on the Constitution that day. Guess what Clark County
School District does. They don't do they don't do it
at all.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
But you know, we were told when we took the
class that we can just go to a local school
and tell them that we want to come and talk
or teach read the Constitution to a class exactly.

Speaker 7 (42:16):
So I highly recommend that. But we're actually as the
Train Point Action Coalition and along with a lot of
other organizations, we are putting on a Constitution Day celebration.
So on Saturday the thirteenth, we're actually going to be
meeting from I believe it's I think we said four

(42:37):
o'clock to seven eight o'clock at Calvary Red Rock and
it's going to be hot dogs and apple pie no
for dinner, and then we're going to have a bunch
of really inspirational speakers. We're going to have one person
who just became a United States citizen. They're going to
talk about their experience and why they want to be

(42:57):
a citizen. We're going to talk to hopefully some emergency
response folks, you know, the police and some EMS.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
Folks to talk about why they do what.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
They do, and maybe we may have somebody high up
in the government. I can't say who, we ad be
there as well to say why it is so important
to follow the Constitution. So it's gonna be a great
event on the thirteenth. Okay, they'll be signing up and
stuff like that coming up on Facebook.

Speaker 5 (43:30):
I believe it's going to be four to.

Speaker 7 (43:32):
Eight, four to eight because that includes a dinner time, okay,
and registration. And we also have on the day the seventeenth,
we are actually going to be doing something at the
Atomic Museum and that is going to be with Judge
Douglas Herndon. He's going to be talking about the Constitution.

(43:54):
And that's also in the evening check in starting at
five point thirty. They'll be snacks and that sort of thing.

Speaker 5 (44:00):
That'll be great for your kids.

Speaker 7 (44:01):
So bring them to Atomic Museum on the seventeenth of
September and then on the Thursday of Saturday, bring him
to Caviriar Redrock for this wonderful program.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
So thank you, thank you, and I just want to
thank doctor hal Shaw for being our guest this evening.
I want to thank our callers Jeff Compton, Nan, Mike
and Frank and Darland.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
Yeah, I'd like to make sure that you visit the
Trump Store at twenty two twenty Paradise Road. It's open
from tent to a. We can also email them at
Trump Store, Las Vegas at gmail dot com. And I said,
it's a great place to go. See you meet Jeff
usually not always it's like the Trump Store.

Speaker 1 (44:50):
So anyway, thank you again to doctor halse Shaw for
being our guest this evening and all our callers, and
we just want to say thank you. We appreciate your
listenership and thank and bless God, bless you, and God
bless America. I'm gonna let it shine, let it shine,

(45:13):
let it shine, let it shine.

Speaker 5 (45:16):
Oh yeah, it s light of mind. I'm gonna let
it shine. Just slight. I'm gonna let it shine.
