Speaker 1 (00:01):
Happen new year. Everyone all is so good to see you.
It's good to be in the land of the living.
And twenty twenty five has not been so good to us.
But you know what, it's going to turn out to
be the best that we want it to be by
how we make it to be the best way we can.
(00:22):
We're gonna jump into some topics on today, and I
want you to know that this is taped too your
Wellbeing Podcast. This is where we're gonna really get acquainted
with one another. We're gonna help one another get through
this trying time in our country that is happening, that
is changing and shifting, and it is not allowing us
to have a peace of mind. But I want you
(00:45):
to hold on to your peace. I want you to
prepare for what is coming, because we got to we
got to come together. But I don't want to jump ahead.
I'm gonna be definitely diving in for this month of
February and I'm gonna get acquainted with you all, and
you are gonna get acquainted with me. And I hope
(01:05):
you understand that Tattoo your well being is thriving out
the trauma, unashamed and a lot of us gotta understand
what that really means. And today's topic, we're gonna be
hitting on taking care of your mental and emotional health.
Oh yes, we're going to take care of ourselves. We're
not gonna put the responsibility on anyone else. This is
(01:27):
our word responsibility. The way things are happening in the US,
We're not gonna be able to go and see our
doctors on time, We're not gonna be able to afford
our prescription medicine. And what are we gonna need to
do to maintain those things that help us to sustain
our everyday lives. What is going to happen to us?
(01:48):
But I don't want you to panic. This is not
a panic podcast. This is a preparation. This is to
show you how not just to cope with survival. But
when I say that we're gonna be thriving after trauma, unashamed,
we're about to go through some test to rather or
not you're really taking your survival to thriving and how
(02:11):
well you're gonna be able to do that without missing
a beat. So come on, let's get started. I want
to welcome you, I want to thank you for joining
us to another powerful episode of tattoo your well being
with your host Ataro tattoo. Ess. Yes, I am so
honored that you are here with me today, and as
(02:33):
we embark on a journey of healing, thriving and living unashamed,
we're not gonna live in shame, not at all. If
you're just now beginning to tune in, or you have
the notification and you've been tuned in, thank you. But
if you have ne this your first time tuning in,
let me tell you this is a safe space and
(02:55):
a very brave space where we nurture our well being
and we restore ourselves and embrace our full potential. This
is the community, the healing journey community. And I don't
want to put up any fronting that we're not gonna
feel sad, that we're not gonna feel depressed, that we're
not gonna feel anxious, that we're not gonna feel mad
(03:18):
and angry and all of those different negative things that
can can just it's just one of those days. And
sometimes it's not just one of those days. Sometimes we're
off balance for one thing or another. We're not getting
enough sunlight, we're not getting enough rest, we're not eating properly,
(03:39):
we're needing to get some medical attention and have some
test done. We may be low and iron, we may
be you know, deficient in some area. But whatever it is,
if there's something that needs to be awakened and alarmed
in your mind, you need to take care of you.
I want you to be able to embrace your fullest potential,
(04:01):
ladies and gentlemen, and I don't want you to miss
the be This is not about teaching you how to cope.
I'm not here because you can get those things, but
if you don't use it, to live it and apply it,
it's not going to do any justice for you. And
I want to be able to help you to prepare,
to know how to sustain your survivalship, your ability to
(04:25):
heal in a way that it can just be so
liberating for you that your emotions can be free from
hurt and shame, and your mental can regulate to where
your body aligned. This is about holistic wellness. But I'm
gonna get back to that, Okay, I really am. I'm
just so passionate about what is about to take place
(04:47):
because I feel that I will be giving you more
of me in twenty twenty five, and because it's the
right time and right season for these things. I know
it's time to get you all to be a part
of the movement of thriving out the trauma unashamed. And
as we celebrate Black History Month, a let us honor
(05:09):
the great leaders who have paid the way for us. Okay,
their courage, their strength, and resilience continue to inspire generations,
and I am beyond proud to be a part of
that legacy. I used to be most part a time
not really hoping about some of the things that I've
accomplished and achieved in my life. But not today. Today
(05:33):
I need to let you all know that I've done
some things. Did you not know that I have the
privilege of being the first inaugural president of the Community
Health Workers Association of Missouri. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
That is a true Black History fact. Okay, this is
(05:53):
an honor of mine, and this honor is it belongs
to the countless men and women who I look up
to who dedicated their lives to serving the communities that
need them the most, and that's community health workers. I'm
(06:14):
celebrating you in this Black History Month, all of you leaders,
Black leaders, I salute you. Happy Black History Month and
I thank you all for recognizing me and applauding and
supporting me in one way or another in the work
that I do as a community health worker CHW. You
(06:36):
may hear me say as that leader, I just want
you to know that our labor is not in vaining.
It's not. Now. Before we dive in deeper into today's episode,
I want you to make sure that wherever you see
the subscribe button, if you have not to our channel,
please do so click on that, like share this podcast
(07:00):
others who may need some of this encouragement and this
empowerment at a time like this. I'm telling you there
is a new attitude and altitude for me with this podcast.
I want to make sure that no one has to
suffer through this thing. And if you want to stay
on your healing journey and you want to work through
(07:20):
the emotions of your trauma recovery, because see some people
did the work and they just trying to keep moving forward,
I want to be able to let you know there's
a both and there can be a point that you
just now get into the survival mode and you're really
trying to stay out of what got you there, and
you're trying to learn yourself. It is about loving yourself,
(07:41):
It really is. You have to love yourself in a place.
But how do you love yourself? I don't know what
it is your go to, but I'm going to be
sharing with you about what is mine that helped me
love myself and rebuild the love for myself to be
able to stand and go from a survivor aspect to
a thriving bad attitude. You know, the new attitude. I
(08:03):
got a new attitude. Oh yeah, pat LaBelle, Come on now,
turn on those notifications because something big, big, big, big,
big big is coming. I'm not gonna tell it all
this time. You gotta keep coming back. If I tell
it all, you ain't gonna have nothing to come back too.
So look, guess what We will soon be latching an app?
(08:26):
You want to know why? Because social media is so unpredictable.
One minute, TikTok is gonna be banned, and next thing
you know, there's buzz about the others. Then you gotta
jump on another social platform. Guess what I can be
on all those social platforms. The only thing I'm gonna
do is make sure that the app that will be
surrendered to you all at your availability is going to
(08:50):
be at your fingertips on your phone. You will be
able to have your healing and empowerment right there in
your hand. Oh yes, I'm going all the way so
it can be at your fingertips. There shouldn't be the
reason why you gotta look for me and follow me
on all these different things. When I say, just download
the app, and when you download the app, you will
(09:10):
have everything that you need to stay engaged with the
community that is staying on the road of recovery. We
want to stay there, we want to build there. We
want to make sure that nothing takes us off the mark.
With everything that is going on, it is really, really able.
It's really possible to be retriggered, retraumatized. And I don't
(09:31):
want you to be so overstimulated by the things that
is going on that you're watching, that you're hearing. Watch
your eyegate, watch your ear gate. Use wisdom. Trust me,
you're gonna need this. You don't want to miss what's
on the horizon. When I didn't get the chance to
(09:53):
do in twenty twenty four, I get to do and
many things that I was wrote to say that I
was gonna do in twenty four will be manifesting in
twenty twenty five. No, no, no, look, I am not
trying to be a perfectionist to make sure that it's
all done, because God is here to order my steps
(10:13):
in and all things and whatever He's gonna have for
me to do to present to you all in this
year is going to be a fanger. It's gonna be
everything that you need worldwide. You can reach me right
here on our virtual platform and now I can get
a chance to share with you what it is that
you need to do to remain healthy and hole. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
(10:39):
So get ready and join the healing journey with us.
You'll be able to find us on www dot a
Tara Essence dot com. That is the site that you
need to begun begin to become a member of because
that is going to be where I at will be
coming from www dot a Tara Essence dot com. See,
(11:01):
let's jump into the power of emotional and mental health.
Now I'm going to really be talking about more of
our emotions. Reason being mental become a little bit more
a touchier subject because when we're talking about the mental aspects,
it could be a clinical So what I'm not going
to do is give you any insight. But I'm thinking
(11:23):
about bringing some professionals in that area that can talk
and really dive in deeper talking about mental health. But
what I will and be able to do as a
pure support is to raise awareness and deeper depths of
the mental is talk about the emotional aspects of it.
And not that I can't talk about the mental but
I want to be able to share this platform with
(11:44):
others because I do have my certifications, I do have
my mental health, first Aid and other qualifying aspects that
it does allow me to be able to render my
expertise as well as lived experience, which not saying just
because I I was able to successfully do that is
a do all for you. What we're going to be
(12:06):
sharing is the successes of us who are having testimonies
through our challenges and able to share with someone else
to give them hope. That's what this engagement of emotional
well being that I'm going to be talking about is
to help us give others hope. So as I'm sharing,
(12:27):
rather it is today or the next podcast, whichever time
it comes about, we never know. We may have a
special guest, but whoever we have, I want you all
to know. They have a story and we're going to
tell it. And today we're going to be talking about
the importance of taking care of the emotional health. Excuse me,
and in all the world and everything that is happening
(12:49):
in the world full of challenges, that I will say again,
we sometimes neglect the very thing that holds us together
and our hearts, our minds, and our spirits, and the
emotional well being is the key of living a fulfilled
and joyful life. I want to remind you, my sister
(13:09):
and my brother, do not let anyone, no one dim
your light. You are beautiful and wonderfully made. Now continue
to shine bright like a diamond. And you were created
for greatness and your story does not end in suffering.
Healing is possible and thriving is your birthright. Okay, the
(13:33):
enemy may have tried to steal your joy, but let
me tell you, the devil is a liar. You are victorious.
I want you to once again to protect your iargate
your eyes and even with your mouth has to come
out from anything that can negatively affect your heart. Take
care of your mental and emotional health because no one,
(13:55):
and I mean no one, can heal it. For you.
That's up to you. I want you to focus on
what you can control and not on what is out
of your control. You can't save the world, but you
can't save yourself. You can't save any of your family
until you put the mask over yourself. Now, I'm going
(14:16):
to share affirmation with you to help you, and I
want you to repeat after me, I am worthy of love, healing,
and peace. My past does not define me, and I
walk boldly into my future with faith and confidence. Repeat
that all week. Yeah, repeat that when you have to
(14:40):
all week. Now, that's jump into the power of togetherness.
Do you believe that there's power and togetherness? Do you
think you can get well alone by yourself? Once upon
a time I used to think that way. I used
to say I got it, I can do it. I'm
very independent, by the way, But let me say your
(15:02):
independence can create the biggest isolation that could suppress and
give you the oppression of your depression. And if you're
not careful, you're not going to know how to get
out of it because you're on an item by yourself.
We were created to walk this journey together and not alone.
(15:22):
I said that we can't do your work of healing
but you don't have to do it by yourself. While
you're stepping into what you need to do to heal,
and in Hebrews ten twenty four and twenty five reminds
us and let us consider one another to provoke unto
love and to good works, not forsaking the assembly of
(15:44):
ourselves together, but exhorting one another and so much more.
As ye see the day approaching, we are stronger together.
And when we see and when we need the support
of one another, healing happens so much faster. Find your community.
(16:07):
Find your people rather it's a church, family, a support group,
on an online community like Tattoo your well Being podcast,
or make sure you are surrounded by those who who
uplift and encourage you for real. And if you're searching
for a place, look no further. We're taking all of
(16:30):
the community members who are ready for their healing, for
their emotional healing and learning how to love themselves in
that healing. You're welcome to join us, and I want
to give you another affirmation to carry with you. Say
this after me, I am never alone. I am surrounded
by love, and I'm supported by those who truly care
(16:55):
for me. Let's go through our healing through faith. Now
every fourth say I'm inviting you, you, you, you, you,
your youth to join me as evangelist atara estas as
I bring. I'm in training to bring a message for
a time like this, God has called me to share
his word and uplift those who feel lost and broken.
(17:19):
Jeremiah twenty ninety eleven tells us, for I know the
plans I have for you. Declare the Lord plans to
prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future. If you have been struggling, know
that God's plan for you is still in motion. What
you went through does not determine your destination. It is
(17:42):
simply a stepping stone for your testimony. What the enemy
meant for evil, God is turning around for your good.
Now our country is in a war crime before the
entire world, and we must continue to fast and pray
for wisdom and prepare ourselves for what is to come.
(18:06):
But you need to equip yourself. You need to put
on the whole armor of God. You need to stay equipped.
You need to feed yourself with the word. You need
to pray with others to be on one accord. I'm
calling all faiths, but I know the faith that I
have and the God that I serve. He is real.
(18:30):
He will come and see about us. He will show
himself strong and mighty. He will perform miracles right before
the enemy to show how strong he got your back.
Having a support system would be even more important than before,
so do not stay away from faith filled environments. The
(18:55):
community is here to empower you. We're here to make
sure we can help you reach the next level of
your hope. Don't run from the community. We're here for you, okay,
And we're here for you to help you in the
spiritual walk. Okay, the spiritual walk. We're not talking about
tangible things. Those things if you go out here and
(19:18):
work for it or put up your gifts, will make
room for you. I have everything right before me. For example,
I have my diamond arts. I have my wood burning projects.
I create different arts on wood. I have my carving workshops.
(19:39):
I have those things. I have different things that I'm
going to be making, creating with key chains and other
things for tattoo. Your well being will be coming a
merch for you all to be able to purchase so
you can represent your own thriving After trauma on a shade.
Tattoo would be the label brand that we're going to
(19:59):
be right, Are you all ready? Come on here? Tattoo
is going to be embedded in everyone's ears because I
refuse to allow the suffering that I've been through, the
sufferings that I know we still gotta go through, be
the only thing I'm talking about. I'm gonna be praising God.
(20:23):
I'm going to be using wisdom as I praise God,
thanking him for giving me clarity, giving me knowledge, wisdom,
and much understanding so I can be ahead of whatever
is happening that it was going to happen around us,
if not to us. Be ready. I want to give
(20:45):
you another affirmation. Repeat after me. I am walking in
God's purpose and I am healed, I am whole, and
I am ready for all that God has for me.
Say with shit, all that God has for me. Now, look,
(21:05):
it's been a minute. I have to take the month
of January. I think I did share certain things, but
I didn't share what was happening on what is to
come until today and as we get ready and as
we're in the February, I get a chance to talk
about the things that is on the horizon, and as
(21:27):
it's on the horizon, I get a chance to now
show you my photo gallery. Soon I get a chance
to introduce that to you. I get a chance to
have my art displayed. I get a chance to do
some things that has been a part of my own
healing journey, as I've infused and would love to help
others be able to be a part of these workshops
(21:48):
that are going to be promoted in the summer. I
have my book. My workbook is going to be released
coming out for twenty twenty five, as well as the
movie that I have been talking about all this time,
my book Damaged Goods. My journey is going to be
bound by Betrayal the movie, and we're working on the
(22:08):
trailer this month. So it's it exciting that I would
soon get a chance to share with you all to
promote the movie. We're going to have some amazing characters
in there. I'm going to get a little bit of
outside of me being a co producer, I get a
chance to be the co director, and I also might
(22:30):
be on that screen. But whichever however way it is,
I want God to get the glory, because if it
wasn't for him saving me and making death behave. I
wouldn't be here today. So all of the things that
is going to be raising awareness for our community, for
our people to know how to get up, how to
have that resilience, how to have that strong will to live,
(22:53):
how to have something that would make you say, this
is not how the story's going to end. Now, as
we wrap up today's episode, I want to leave you
with this because you're healing matters. Okay, your joy matters,
your peace matters, and no matter what you've been through,
(23:14):

trauma unashamed. So subscribe, like and share this podcast. Follow

we have Spotify, we have a spreaker, and we have
a other podcast streams that I'm a part of now
and I want to make sure that I'm being committed
(23:58):
to making sure that you know what you need to
do to live again. This has been man. I've been
working on this podcast for quite some time, and I
think that this is like the first time my excitement
about what it's about to happen in twenty twenty five,
(24:18):
regardless of what it looks like in the economy, I
get to have the pins to control my narrative. Okay,
So share this podcast with someone who needs it, Invite
them to tune in next time. I want to listen
to the previous episodes that have already been published and
(24:39):
allow them to find their connection to this community. I
invite you to join the movement. I plan to put
get the app up and going so we can have
our private groups and depending on how many of our
members that join will want to be a part of
the workshop will help me identify outside out of this
(25:00):
will all be group sessions. If there's any request for
any one on ones I will, I would, I would
pray about it. Right now, I'm open to group sessions
of the of us continuing our healing journey, our healing circles.
I plan to do a lot more engaging about the
healing circle to get us, but it's going to be
(25:21):
on a private group. It's not going to be open
to the public. All of what I'm doing here right
now is free access, free access. That's why I'm telling
you if you want to be a part of the
journey and you would love to continue thriving out the
trauma undershame, I would say before prices and things get
(25:44):
into place of the app and trying to keep everything
up and functioning and going, because I'm not only touching
here in Saint Louis where I live. I'm touching around
the United States. I have family and different places around
the world, and I want us all to be able
(26:05):
to come together and heal on this journey together. We
do not have to do this alone. We don't have
to be siloed. And I want to be intentional on
how I invite others to be a part of their
story to tattoo your world being. I want them to share.
(26:28):
I want them to be able to get others the
expertise that they have with their live experience, and we
continue to grow from there. We have an app that
is launching some That's the part that I'm very excited,
and I'm going to be very focused and diligent because
some things that are trying to happen to discourage me.
I'm encouraged to keep going higher in the Lord, please

own fruits through roofs healing harvest pharmacy. Yes, all of
it is coming together, and we may and I don't
want to speak too soon, but we're going to have
(27:36):
a place within the United States and outside of the
United States, and I'm just trying to see where I
can actually have these things coming to place so we
can have our market online market going. So stay tuned,
stay tuned, Stay tuned. God is in the blessing business.
He's going to be doing something really big in each
(27:58):
and every one of us. Remember every fourth Sunday you
can join me. I am At that time Evangelista Tara
asked us for a word that will bless your life.
But until next time, I want you to please please
please please take care of yourself, take care of your
emotional health, take care of your mental health, take care
(28:20):
of your physical health, and please do not forget your
financial health. Get your finances together. I'm gonna put your
cash away and you're gonna need it. Don't depend solely
on your credit cards because there may be a shutdown
to where you don't have them. Get you some solar
(28:41):
lights to be able to keep your house lit when
the power grid or anything may shut it down at
any given time for whatever reason. Not that you didn't
pay your bill, but something tells me we may need
to be prepared for a little bit more than what
we expected, and that's to us live it in the US.
So any of you who may be tuning in who
(29:04):
is outside of the US, pray for us. Pray for us.
I know we're not exempt. I know that you all
may have your own stories and made it through. This
is ours, and we're gonna make it through as well.
Keep thriving, never let anyone dim your life. You are
a diamond and you were created to side. So I
