positive note. We call it Awesome Sauce six to ten
weekday mornings with the B ninety three Morning Show. What
started off as just a normal trip to the grocery
store for one guy in Addison, Illinois did not end
up that way. He was a little bit frustrated when
he left the grocery store because after he checked out,

he went to the lotto machine and he wanted to
play a specific lotto game, and the machine kept getting stuck,
so he couldn't play the game that he wanted to play.
And he even remarked to his wife, like, what is
going on here? Why isn't I get this one every time?
What's happening? So he was forced to buy another lotto ticket,

(00:45):
it was a two dollars ticket and went back the
next day nine point two million dollar winter walk into
the grocery store. You're kind of frustrated on the way out.
I'm sure the price of groceries didn't have And the
next day you walk back in there and your life
has changed forever.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Geez.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
He said. It was a normal day, just like any other.
I was picking up groceries, and on my way out
the door, decided to buy a lottery ticket. Actually wanted
to buy a ticket for a different game, and the
machine got stuck. So I was a bit frustrated. I said,
what is going on here? This machine won't give me
the right game, So I decided I may as well
buy the lotto ticket. Winning numbers were two, fifteen, twenty one,

twenty nine, forty two, and forty four. Now it doesn't
say if those are the numbers he plays all the time,
or if that was just like whatever they give you,
but he said he went back the next day scanned
the ticket out a machine. When the machine showed the
nine point two million dollar prize amount, I couldn't believe it.
I looked at my wife and she was completely speechless.

(01:46):
We are definitely laughing now over how angry I was
at the broken machine, and we're so grateful for how
it all turned out.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Everything happens for a reason. If that machine hadn't been stuck,
you would have just got some three dollars winner, or
a four dollar winner, or maybe nothing at all.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, the lottery said it's the second largest prize one
with the lotto games so far this year. The other
one was a player back in February who won ten
point four million. Am I about to move to Illinois
to play the lotto?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
All right?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
And go to buy your ticket at the grocery store.
I guess that's the big clue here. Geez, nine point
two million dollars for him, not a care in the world.

Oh no, oh no, that's LL do whatever I want money.
