Can I say I'm an old mannow? Yes? He is as
the field to have a forty twoyear old. Hey, it feels pretty

(01:53):
good. It feels pretty good, man, I can't believe it. I
was thinking about that just today whenmy father May is so rest in peace,
that great guy. Uh. MyJohn's mom was going to have him
by appointment. Uh huh. Youknow a cesarean appointment. And we had
this horrific eye storm. And mymom and dad would come up when we'd
have our kids and things like that, you know, the old fashioned way

(02:14):
help take care of things. Andyour mom and I begged him to drive,
you know, because he drove fora living for so many years.
Yep, to drive us to thedriver to the hospital. It was the
worst eye storm I've ever been in. We lived on like a hill or
something, right, yeah, highabove Cayuga's Water in Cornell. Uh huh,
yeah, Ithaca man, And yeah, we had dropped to the Tumpkins
Hospital. And man, was Ithankful he was the man driving there.

(02:37):
He actually when he was coming uphere, it was a huge blizzard.
He had to he actually had toget out of his car, lift the
barrier on the hi on the parkwayand get on and the cops let him
get on the hut because it wasclosed. Wow. And he said,
hey, my son's having a he'shaving a baby. I gotta get up
there. And the cops let himup because see, did you get me
an escort, a police escort there? We didn't get you this down when

(03:00):
he was coming up from Fishville.Oh okay, yeah, and he's doing
that. But you know, sorryto go down memory lane. But this
guy, he was some character fortytwo years ago. He was a cute
little devil. What can I say, I still am. I'm the cute
guy. Oh. I don't knowabout that one. But I hope you

and there's great charge on season twoand we're on episode eleven school play.

(04:06):
What do you got for us fora synopsis on this? Hey? You
know this is another This seems tobe I love doing this. This seems
to be like the ward Cleaver. He sets the tone for most of the
stuff. You think it's about Beaver, and it is. But Beaver is
just like the catalyst. So wecan see the angst I guess you would

(04:27):
call it, or problems or thegood judgments and bad judgments that parents make
with him, and a lot ofhis goofy behaviors. And this is a
surprising one with Ward. There's littleschool playing in the third grade and you
know, flowers and bees or something, and Beaver is gonna be a canary
and June tells Ward he's so excitedabout it, But where's this canary?

(04:49):
You know? It's kind of likeBeaver represents us. Yeah, and he
starts talking about being in the office. Somebody talk about their kid being kind
of football. Yeah, he says, what am I supposed to tell me
he's going to be any And it'sreally kind of you know, parents do
that and people don't realize if yourkid can't swing a bat or worst,
then you're thinking they're going to bethe next Mickey Mantle getting up there,

(05:10):
and he's pretty goofy, as weall know, he has kind of a
while he's the hero, Yeah,he has the history of Beaver really doesn't
have a lot of a lot oftalent, so to speA because of it
being a really nice and sweet kidand just a fun loving character for the
family. No. I was askingJohn before we're doing the show. He
forgot the play I was in whenI was a kid. Well, this
guy I coached him in football.I use a great football player, great
hockey player, played all kinds ofdifferent things. He was in the band

(05:34):
one year, and orchestra whatever. It was the worst. He can't paint,
and he can't phot I don't gotan ic talent whatsoever. And I
cut his sister. Yeah, noartistic talent, no musical talent. I'm
gonna get so mad sports great athlete. But I couldn't. I couldn't act
in the play. No, youdidn't even remember I had. I didn't
remember. I had a duet inthe play too. I sang with this

(05:56):
girl I remember I got. Iwas in the fourth grade and the play
was called School Days, and wehad to dress up like the nineteen twenties
when you're in school. Grandma helpedme make the outfit with the knickers to
tell me what it was. Hehad to wear knickers. I didn't know
what color was for them. Yeah. See, he's got dementia going on
right now. He's like, you'relike the g You're like my grandparents.
Now, you know. I don'tremember that one, but yeah, Grandma

(06:18):
helped me show me what the knickerslooked like, with the socks and tucking
them in and everything. They're stillwearing them. It probably was. I
don't know, but yeah, Idid my one My one thing into a
play was that I never did itagain. So thankfully it was like my
son when he did the play.Yes, I didn't want to. I
shouldn't probably even tell that story.Remember what they said to him, what,

(06:43):
so my son is of another colortoo, because my wife, his
mother is is Asian. So myson is Asian. And you know,
as they ate, more Asian lookedto him than he does, like for
the white look. So they neededsomebody to play Chubby Checkers in the Apollo
play. Oh yeah, remember that. So we're a very very very one

(07:04):
race area around here. Else notvery diverse. It's not for whatever reason,
you know, it's just not. There's about ninety nine percent Caucasian and
one percent everything else. So eventhough he's not, even though he's not
African American, he was close enough. Yeah. So his h the leader
of the play, he was onthe backstage crew, said we need somebody
to play Trubby Checker. We needan African American to play and then he

(07:28):
said, I'm not African American.I'm Asian. He says, I know
it's close enough. So could youplay the Brazil and I'm like, oh
my god, how do you youwant to get mad at that moment because
it's completely wrong. But then it'slike I said, did it bother you?
This is no is what it is? And he played it and he
could be playing on the trumpet orwhatever. We got a good laugh at
him. Never again did he playit taking one. But we all have

(07:49):
our when you imagine, can youimagine? So funny school story plays for
my kids and for me there, but we'll get into the show here.
We're going to be on once again, season to episode eleven. School Play.
We watch on Peacock. You guyscan watch on whatever app you want
to, so you're ready to goover. I'm ready to go me in
all right, everybody that's rolling here, okay. And they made no malice

(08:13):
by that when they did it atthe school. There is no malag I
want to say there and there's wonderfulschool. It's just no malice. And
last there were no African American students. Yeah, it was too funny.
I remember me and my wife atthe time looking at each other and we're
like, we could be mad,but this is pretty What were they supposed
to do? Really, it wasn'tit wasn't that bad. George said,
I can't believe it's been a yearalready. I know, George, it's

(08:37):
been a year already. It's beencrazy. Well, here we go.
Here's the start of the show.Look at this point Mayfield Elementary. Here
the school auditorium presents the Grant Avenuein bows, kilgrims, flowers and feathers.
Was this like a big deal wherethey each grade would do like,
yeah, when I was in school, how about you guys? Yeah,
the school play. There's Whitey,Yeah, White He's one of your favorites,

(09:03):
isn't he. I like white onlybecause when I was a kid,
people called me white because they hadwhite blonde hair like that. There's of
course Judy Hensler, and of courseLarry Mondelo, our friend. He doesn't
have an apple in his hand, you know, soon to be how many
of you were in the school playor the or some type of play,
or we're in the theater in school, like Beaver is about to be here.

(09:24):
I was in the orchestra, Iplayed the violin, and I was
in school play where I had aplace. Sir Isaac Newton, m hmm,
I could picture you doing that, and I had to put Jerris Talc
in my hair to turn it white. Okay, yeah, can help it.
They're making fun of Judy here bythe way. And I can remember
my family doing this and my friendsbecause she wore a leotard. If you

(09:46):
see somebody in a leotard that,he was like, what the heck is
that your underwear? So it wasweird to like put grandpa. And people
used to laugh watching the Ed SullivanShow and the ballet dancers would come.
I said, look at that guy. How ignorant people were back in the
day. But it was too funny. Yeah, Brian, my Facebook lives

(10:07):
up, good, buddy. I'mon it right now looking at it,
so I don't know. You canprobably refresh on your Facebook. It should
be good. So you got itup there. Help you're doing good and
everybody else brilliant. My cousin, let's see, Ryan says, my cousin
played Maria in West Side Story.Oh my goodness. Okay, you're a
big West Side Story fan. Weren'tyou that you're talking about what's your name?

(10:35):
Uh readA moreno? Yep, isreadA moreno? Your cousin? Or
is that like a high school player? He's probably talking like school. Oh,
yes, is this where the notalent beaver plays the mushroom? Yes?
What was it that he played against? Said? He actually plays a
canary a canary, but he windsup being the mushroom. Now here's whom
war has starting to get a littleupset. In high school in choir and

(10:56):
Bye Bye Birdie and played softball.I've heard that one. I've never seen
that was a big one. DickVan Dyke was in that in Margaret,
I believe Paul in Okay, bigplay. What's word cutting up there?
To me, it looked like hewas making a peanut butter sandwich, and
then it looked like something else.Look at you and with those pearls looking,

(11:18):
I'm stunning. It always looks likehe's putting peanut butter and jelly on
on lettuce or bread or something. She's given him the reminder that suffers in
it out. He's like one ofthe boys. He's like she does with
the boys all the time. Hesaid. In sixth grade, my Catholic
school had each grade sing songs fromdifferent countries. We were Italy. Yeah,

(11:41):
we used to do that in schooltoo, stuff like that, you
know, brotherhood week, unice thingsand all that kind of stuff. George
said, always played in the orchestra, but never acted. What instrument did
you play, George? Bryan says, that was weird. That wasn't on
the page A bit ago, man, Now, awesome, thanks Brian.
What does beaver got in the jarthere? He's got coffee grounds and stuff

(12:03):
so that he can fatten up theirfishing worms. Oh okay, is that
what would fatten him up back inthe day? I guess would people would
do things like that. They wantto have worms, you know, so
when they go fishing. The trumpet? All right, Yeah, that's a
hard instrument. That's a super hardinstrument to play. Do you still play,
George? Ever you ever play musicalinstruments anymore? You ever play?

(12:24):
Played the trumpet? Hit some oldnotes? See Bryan said, I played
the trumpet too, trombone in tenor sacks? Oh my god, all
the wind instruments there. Do youstill play too, Brian? Anybody else
still play musical lunches? I knowyou're a guitarist, of course, since
I'm thirteen. Yeah, you couldtell Ward is not very happy right here
by the fact that he's a birdin the play. Yeah, now he's

(12:50):
saying it's the lead part. Uhhuh, and once again you know he's
uh, he's not really so sincereabout you know this. Beaver picks up
on this and while a little bitYeah, he's trying to be though,
Yeah, did this one he fallsshort a little bit on the mark.
June's really on him. Yeah withthis, well, Beaver really didn't ever

(13:11):
give them much to celebrate him forin school a lot so, but you
know he was probably looking for thatopportunity for once. Yeah, he's not
going to come out and say it. He's looking very dejected right now as
he grabs as a newspaper. Yeah, you know, what's a great What
do you guys think about this? The great part of the show is that,
you know the world that we livein today, there's so many issues

(13:31):
that we get all twitter pated about, and we worry about these guys.
A lot of families would say thisis you know Ward in June. Their
whole life is about Beaver and Wallyand their family. George says, no
I sing now it's my other job, all right, and Bryan says,
no, I wish I still played. Neil said, why would Ward care
if Beaver's a canary. Yeah,I guess he just wants him to think

(13:54):
he's that big part Neil. Youknow, I think they feel like they
represent you. Yeah, like that. You know, it was so much
that it seems like, from whatwe've seen another episode, just that status
thing for the parents to be ableto say, you know, my kid
was the lead in the school playas Sir Isaac Newton or whatever. And
look at this. Now there's missLanders. She's with all of them,

(14:15):
you know, yep, see, look at all these kids there had attention.
Barbar said, I tried to playthe flute in the fifth grade.
I managed to memorize a song ortwo, but it couldn't read music at
all, so I quit. Yeah, I feel y'all that one. That's
a tough one, Brian said, sang in our school's audition choir. Yep,
awesome. Amon says, hello, guys, sorry the last couple of

(14:37):
weeks, no worries, Aimen. We were off last week, but this
week we're back in action. Sohere's a little picture. I believe I
got right here. For those whoaren't watching at this moment, as they're
all getting that's so reminiscent. Iremember the school like that, you know,
with the with the drapes, yep, and stuff in the little small

(14:58):
auditory in the state and stuff likethat. Miss Smith, you know,
Miss Landers just looks stunning now, doesn't she. She's a very beautiful woman,
very beautiful. She's getting all thekids ready, of course, and
doing that whole song and dance there. This is gonna be later on here
in a second. We just kindof scroll through these pictures. See what
I got there, you go.Larry doesn't look like he's going to be

(15:20):
having a big lead in this play, but nobody really has the biggest lead.
But it's very funny the way thateach of the kids has an idiosyncrasy.
Jimmy has to be the star attention, you know, with her shoes
and leotards. Larry's worried about uh, he's worried about hopping. He's going
to be a hopping frog or atoad or something. He had his appendix
taken out a month ago, sohe's you know, It's why I respect

(15:46):
teachers so much, because you haveto deal with all of the kids and
all their different behaviors and mannerisms andall that stuff. So it's pretty tremendous.
Check out the cuffs on white He'sjeans. Neil said, absolutely,
yeah, you gotta love the cuffson these kids. Jeans Neil. I
remember the smell of the gym theauditorium so well. Absolutely. Does anybody

(16:07):
remember the smell of the shades ina classroom? They were those canvas shades
that they pulled down with a stickwith a hook on and in the sunshine
they would smell, or the mapthat would come down. I remember the
map they had canvas. He smellslike the canvas and gotcha? Se George
said Sue Randall? Who? ButI think that was miss Landers right?

(16:30):
Was gorgeous? Is that Sue Randall'sthe name of Miss Landers? Right?
I think in real life I thinkhe named George. Is that who she
is? I believe that's her?Yes, Beaver. Beaver's worried now again
he's worried that he has to dosomething. Look at the cars. I
just I love seeing the cars fromthis era. That's afford. If I'm

(16:51):
not taking it's amazing when they sendthe costumes home and they say, and
the mothers will take care of that. What a different. It's just the
next tation that you could sew seethe smelly yup. Dever says, yes,
the smell of the maps. AndBrian said, Stanley h for Farah
played drum, saxophone, clarinet anddrums in real life. Tiger told me

(17:14):
a lot in the interview with them, all right, Aman played drums,
and let's see. Aman said,I played drums and percussion in high school
and I lettered in in high school. Awesome, man, that is so
awesome. I saw Sue Randall inan old episode of the Twilight Zone that
he said, yes and yep.George said, yeah, miss Landers,
Yes, Twilight Zone is my dad'sfavorite show. And Rod Sterling is from

(17:36):
this town. Yeah, we live. As a matter of fact, we
passed a recreation park all the time. I just went to a h with
Rod Serling. I went to theUH dedication for the film for Veterans Day
for the filmmaker from Hollywood came downand screened down here, and Rod Sterling's
daughters were there. Yes. Asa matter of fact, I emailed them
very frequently. Yeah, I'm ina group and she answer you back all

(17:56):
the time. Boy, the legacythat he left everything odd. Look at
Beaver now, he is so happyto tell him all about this part,
and Ward is just not into thisboat. You know what this was though.
I think we have a commercial comingup here and it's not to you
know, this is the this isthe the mindset of the day. That

(18:21):
wasn't if your kid was like ifyou were a canary. It wasn't masculine
enough, and it didn't fit themodel that the parents didn't want their kids.
There was definitely homophobic kinds of things. It was a cultural kind of
thing. I'm not saying that isa bad Chris. The generation they just
didn't tolerate that kind of stuff. They weren't into that kind of stuff.

(18:42):
There was nobody going to say,you know, this is my pronoun.
Things were very you know, clearcut during the day and you know,
Ward, you know, is mykid going to be a canary? They
would want you to be something elsemore, I don't know, meaningful,
even though you were just a kidwith the fathers like tease the other others.
If they saw that, you think, yeah, if a if a

(19:03):
kid was a funny swim and fish, they would they would have been saying
something. They would say something okay, yeah, interesting around you know.
They wouldn't do it to your facenecessarily, but they would goof with other
people. Yeah, they'd be runningjokes about it, yeah, of just
being honest at least where I lived. Look at the old ice box there
that you know, you had aNorge refrigerator. You've still got that one

(19:23):
in the other room that you guyshave had forever from that things from the
set sixties or seventies, that onethat you have each other. Yeah,
and it's it still runs colder thanjust about any refrigerator on the market you
can buy today, which is crazy. Yeah. Do you see how small
that like in comparison though from therefrigerators that we have now. The refrigerator

(19:45):
is and you look at that littlefreezer, it looks like one of those
little mini ones that they pull out. Absolutely. Look at the kitchen,
Look at the amount of dishes andpots and pants that they have. Yeah,
they didn't have fifty million things inthere. And that's legitimate. Yep.
Well, Onbably always likes to giveJune the business a little bit so
to speak to us there where theyalways have. They have a very fun

(20:06):
relationship with Wally and June that Isee often. Now this is the high
school teacher I believe that comes hereand she's supposed to be the drama.
She's going to be kind of guidingguiding her a little bit, yes,
guiding Miss Landers and the kids. And look at Judy coming out like a
ballerina. The patronize the kids, which I find is very fun. Yes,

(20:33):
here's Whitey quick Housecheam for everybody that'son here, we'll throw it out
there. Make sure you like thevideo if you're watching on Facebook or YouTube,
make sure you subscribe on YouTube aswell, and hit that bell and
notification. If you're watching, pleaseand like the video as well. And
on Facebook, make sure you giveus a follow and a like off for
the page in the video. Itwould greatly be appreciated. And also,
all episodes come out on audio shortlyafter about ten to fifteen minutes after.

(20:56):
And I'm always out there just soyou all, No Beaver is out dancing
around like everybody came out and theydid they did their little uh you know,
look at Larry laughing at him.Larry is laughing at him. You
are awesome. I mean, youall are awesome. You guys are all
great people. We always talking aboutyou guys are all great people. My

(21:18):
grandfather would follow the iceman around. They would suck on the silvers of the
ice like a popsicle. That's anamazing story because my best friend was a
psychologist. His two uncles were icemanand they when they died, they probably
had close to a million dollars.I'm not fooling you under their mattresses.
Really ye wow. Yeah, I'mnot even gonna say what he's trying to

(21:48):
portray here almost I'm not gonna sayit. But look at what he's doing
with his tongue and stuff. Ohyou mean like if it was somebody who's
disabled. Yeah, it's like he'sI don't think so. I think he's
just being goofy, but not onpurpose. Okay, I don't know it.
Almost doesn't get it. Sometimes there'scertain things he can't do, and
I think that's going to come outat the end of the show. Here,

(22:10):
look at this teacher. She's likeacting like it's like he's trying to
perform, you know, brain surgeryright here. I don't know if he'll
get it by Saturday. Calm down, lady. It's a freaking canary.
We were talking about that with sportsthat you played or things that I did
as a kid and saying that, you know, you want somebody to do
all this performance stuff, but you'rejust a kid. I want to tell

(22:30):
the kids having fun. You know, this isn't a professional production chief called
down. He's a canary. Youknow, it's a very funny thing.
I don't know whether you guys agreewith that. This looks like it's much

(22:51):
ado over nothing. But back inthe day, man, you know,
if the teachers didn't put on agood show, parents didn't like that,
they expected teachers to perform with theteachers get like pushed out if they didn't
work, if they weren't liked orsomething like that, or a job.
Yeah, I don't know, theymight not get promoted, or the principal
might be disappointed in them, givehim a bad performance evaluation or something.
If you had an undisciplined class orsomething like that. Well, this is

(23:22):
all about the pecking order too.Even with Ward, Ward is buying right
into that the pecking order. Brian'sgoing for Beaver here. He said he
thinks that that Beaver made a bettercanary than Whitey. He put. You
definitely put a lot of effort intoit, that's for sure. Ward is
very not supportive of this. Hereally you can see this raise telling you

(23:45):
he does not want to go todisplay. She wants to leave and get
a seat, and he's like, what am I gonna be doing pacing the
floors for ten minutes? Used tofeel that way with your sister's dance sometimes
you hated those things. Oh mygod, they go on it was like
four thousand degrees in there. Thenthey'd have little tiny babies come out and
dance, little kids. You wouldalways you would always tell me to say,
hey, let's let's go on acrossthe street and get a frosty because

(24:06):
they'd be right next to one Dy'sand I we go, get a boat
smoking and we go. Yeah,we'd have a bowl of chili and the
frosty over and when and then Momwould get mad at you because we'd come
back about an hour and a halflater and I got to step back into
the damn sweat box again. Youknow, they'd pick it would be crowded,
it would be the look. Thesame way with JL. He was
in the choir. My son wasin the choir all throughout high school,

(24:30):
and I got so sick of goingto the damn concerts by the end.
But I like to go to theband once with the kids when they'd have
to play La bamba all the timein the jazz orchestra, and I would
crack up as a musician. Itwas just so awful. It was wonderful.
I look forward to it's so funny. Yeah, parents always do want
to see the product. That's likewith you sports. It's the same thing.
They always want to see the product. And then Ward here is just

(24:52):
still everybody while he's ready to go, they're all excited. Ward is just
he is no selling this all day. Watch this though, Beaver is looking
to have some fun and watch thesetwo guys queer the deal on this one.
He looks so he looks so handsome. Yeah, never was charming in
the suit and his hair is combed. Why is he getting in a suit

(25:18):
to go to the play. Yougotta look good when you go and you
come home, all right? Thisis the school play man. This is
in the nineteen fifties. There's Wally. You don't want to goof up like
you did. Give it him alittle performance. They're scared them a little
bit here. Of course, youguys are awesome to thinks a man.
I appreciate it. Loving your storyhas never said thank you, Dever,

(25:40):
we always try to add a littlefun by them. We always just share
a little bit and have just ourfamily. You know, goofy stuff.
Ward is really not doing a goodjob here. You know, Beaver looks
like he's ready to puke right nowwith the way that him and Wally have
just made him nervous. No,I never made you nervous before games and

(26:02):
everything. I was told you torelax. Man was a good guy with
that stuff. I never really gotnervous before performing that stuff never bothered me.
I would be very nervous when youwere a little boy, when you
were doing things like that because Iwanted you to do. I was texting
with a friend of mine today duringthe competition for my daughter. They had
the whole conference championship today and theyended up winning. Yeah, she's Mark

(26:25):
and she's been battling the injury.I was texting my friend. I said,
Man, I said, I'm morenervous for her. I said,
I used to be the stone coldcustomer when I got out there. Never
bothered me. Now I see hershe's the same way, and I'm more
nervous for her. You see itas a parent, like what you see
with him is, you know, they want their kids to do well.
They want them to be the starof the night, you know, or
shining. And look at this she'sgot her going to meeting clothes on there.

(26:47):
It's actually endearing when you when youtake a look. I think there
are certain times where our moral compassis better, and this definitely is one
I think where you have more respect. I just saw a thing today.
We're really a big book came outon about what people are. People are

(27:10):
just so interested in things now morethan ever, things and experiences. Other
things don't count yep, let's doa couple of comments. The Cleavers wore
suits to the baseball games. Yeah, I remember the football game or something
with the Brussels sprouts. Later onwith Beaver, while he always stole the
show with his lines, while he'sjust the best, Brian, I wasn't
a fan of my parents come tomy performances. I can understand a lot

(27:32):
of people aren't. They want toThey never want to be uh, you
know, scared off by certain thingsfrom their parents. They want to do
well, Amon says, never boredby Youtubo guys. Well, thank you,
sir, said congrats to your daughter, Thank you Deva. When I
was a kid, my parents, you know, when you played ball in
it in organized sports, parents didn'tusually come to those. So why is
why is musical spelled that way withthe at the end? I don't know,

(27:56):
to make it a special or somethinglike musicale Yeah you know I saw
that on the sign for the girldoing the you know, because that's not
he's called musicals and now yeah whateverin one of those archaic phrases, look
at the auditorium here in this school. Look at this guy with the camera.
Yeah, he's with the flash cameraand everything else like that. I

(28:18):
have one outside just like that. And this is what people would do.
And then that movie cameras, youknow, while winding movie cameras came Brownies.
It comes Indian summer for the fourthgrade. Now, yeah, did
you guys have a bunch of eightmilimeter home movies and things like a sixteen
milimeters wherever they are? Yeah,we had tons of them. My father

(28:42):
had a light bar all that stuff. Flower and feathers is the nas beavers
the third look at him as thefrog. This is gonna have you guys
are probably seen us fifty times, but it's going to have a trick ending
on here. That's actually really important. Boy, this is bad. Look

(29:04):
at Judy coming out, But it'sjust as bad as the stuff that I
can remember from the a lot ofthe dance classes. Absolutely, it gets
just all dulled up and they reallycouldn't do too much. It's cute to
see him out there, but definitelyit isn't the most always the most entertaining
one. Right, look at Judy'sdad taking the pictures. You know what's

(29:30):
amazing what I saw in this inlimitiper There was a diverse audience there,
Yeah, they had. I don'tknow how why I picked it because we're
having that story about diversity. Itlooked like there was a Spanish or Filipino
woman in there and a couple otherpeople. There's Beaver in the canary suit.
Yeah well maybe maybe not somebody elsetake his spot. Maybe maybe not

(30:00):
a good Ward right now? Now, Ward's demon a little bit. He
liked it all right, good,we got an answer to this right here.
Let's see, we're having an Indiansummer here in Wisconsin close to fifty
degrees. Man, that must benice. Brian, It's like thirty degrees
right now and just going down musicaleis a musical gathering or a concert.
Awesome, Thank you Barbara, Barbara, Thank you Aimen so much. I

(30:21):
appreciate it. My friend. Iwill share everybody's congrats to her later.
Look at this there, happy.Oh boy, that was a bad comment
right there. That was a badcomment to say to the dad. Yes,
there's Judy's mom. She's got herbroch on. I liked Larry's friend's

(30:49):
father. You never see him, that's a first right there, we see
mister Mondelo. I've never seen him. He's a skinny and short guy.
I thought, Oh boy, Wardmade him that upset. He couldn't go

(31:18):
on. Primarily Ward June is goingto be hot with this one right here.
Now, this is where they saidearlier. He's the mushroom good one
right there. Pick up. Hehad all the pressure taken off and they're

(31:41):
all going to laugh out of it. Though, Well, we all think
that Beaver is pretty dopey and goofyhere and just being a goofy kid would
look of course. Now he's tryingto do a good job though. Is

(32:02):
that a guilt? Yeah, it'snot. Kids know when you're being succeed
He's given them they're giving him theBS artist. I was the beave growing
up. That's a good thing tobe the beef. Who was the beam
growing up? Brian said that,Well you really, Brian, you were
the beef. That's cool though, good to be the beef. Yes,

(32:23):
it is. Everybody likes the beef. Well, the beef has a night.
The beef always has a sweet moralcompass out there. He's always a
good guy. He's got a goodheart, a really good home. Even
when he does wrong, he's gota good heart. That's the beautiful thing
about the character. That's the beautifulthing about this podcast about And that's not
patronizing, you guys. That's whatThat's why I actually tell people all the
time. Rolling up on the lastcommercial breakdown, folks, before we move

(32:49):
off of this episode. Super Bowlsnext weekend. Some great games last weekend.
Yes, I hope you guys.Have you enjoy sports that you've been
joined the sports season and everything elselike that. Although I've had a couple
of moments I think this is aconspiracy might be, and I'm not a
conspiracy theorist. I think some teamshave been kind of maybe not playing as

(33:12):
hard to set up the betting forthe later teams minus the Chiefs. I
liked all those teams that were inthe conference game last week. Listen to
this though, this as we gotto the end here, Ward's sweating us
out. Yeah, he knows hemessed up on this one big time.
Ward's the one that's learning the lessonthe most on this. He feels like

(33:36):
a real jerk. Now that's theone good thing about this show. People
have a conscience. Yeah, theythey they've self realized, they realized what
they did wrong. Look at June. She loves War two, his weakness.
She kind of tries to reassure himthere, even though she knows it
was gonna But listen to this thoughI was the bea, but I had

(33:58):
the Eddie like friend. Yes,oh boy, my team's didn't make it
too far in the playoffs. Minedidn't neither, George, they got knocked
out by the Chiefs. Listen tothis. We did see Larry's dad,
Barbara. This is a big importantpartly fly. It's about talent, you

(34:31):
know, well, it's about heunderstands what he does well. Yeah,
he understands his limitations that he thathe couldn't fly as good as the other
kid. There you go, don'tdon't you know there'll be something you're not
Don't make a silk purse out ofa sound's ear man. Don't put the
pressure on somebody he doesn't want todo it. It doesn't have that ability.

(34:51):
I like him. Give Warn abig kiss there and that's a good
endings War yep mine got knocked outthe forty nine ers last week. Yeah,
your alliance played great though, Brian, ah boy, they were a
good team. Really liked them.Love the forty nine ers too. That's
my pick right there you go,and you know it's a good episode though.
It was a good episode. Andyou know something, guys, you
said you like something and because we'reauthentic, and we are, and you

(35:14):
know, the one thing that Ilove about Ward and the Beaver, this
is a nice show where I likeit when Beaver gives War a kiss and
you want to know something when thisguy we're a kissy family. And when
this guy played high school hockey andI knew all of his friends are rough
sport man, they're out there.I mean, he has a rough team
and this this was rough buckaroo overhere. He really could put a hurting

(35:36):
on you. But every time Ialways asked myself, does ever bother you?
I would wait by the thing there, and he'd be man. He'd
be in all skates, he'd belike six foot two, and these big
guys with beards, and he hadbeen beaten up people for all the things.
And he'd always come over and Ialways come over and do what?
Give him a kiss? Yeah,And he's going to be forty two tomorrow.

(35:58):
You tickles absolutely, And sometimes Ilove you too. Sometimes I'm gonna
have to tell a story of whenhe went in the military. Another day,
another day, not, so wego another day. Wow, there's
a story make you believe in God. Well, it was a great show
