What do you do when you have a difficult relationship with a family member? What happens when parts of your life don't look like they "should" look?

If you, or someone you're close to, has a hard relationship with a family member, it's not because there's something wrong. It's because this is how it's supposed to be.

In this episode I share my own personal story about my relationship with my biological father. Although we didn't have "the norm," there were gifts and lessons that have come from having an atypical bond.
