It's the Neighbors podcast, will recentMike. They discuss in different issues that
affect up treating like that. It'sthe Neighbors. Wait the Neighbors. Yeah,
yeah, yes, yes, what'sgoing on y'all? Top of the
Morning, Top of the Morning.Hey y'all. Uh we thank y'all for

(00:23):
tuning in with us. Truly appreciateit, most definitely, most definitely,
So, Mike, you know,um, you know, I've been looking
at a lot of youtubees lately, okay, and I've been noticing some a
trend, if you will. Andyou know how you look at one thing
and then something stuff starts popping upand you start seeing a whole bunch of

(00:44):
it, right, Right, Soone night I was just chilling everybody's sleep.
I can't go back to sleep,so I'm just scrolling through YouTube or
whatever else. That's been my favoritesocial media platform recently, Okay, like
one and so, um what Inoticed, you know, I had looked

(01:08):
at this one video where they wereparents fussing out school district or the school
boards, right, And one ofthe topics that they were talking about was
the school board making decisions to takecertain books out of the libraries, right,
so they're taking out stuff like theBibles and you know, math books

(01:30):
or whatever else, but they're replacingthem with books that really support these kids
being transgender. And I mean,it was a lot of a lot of
videos out there about that, andthat's across the United States, and so
it made me think about where ourkids, you know, being in high

(01:53):
school. Right, you know,I didn't want to go away back to
elementary because a lot of stuff washappening in elementary middle schools to beyond yeah.
Um, But the thought was ifI just went back to high school,
because I really think that that thehigh their high school really pushed that
um um, that genre, thatidea, if you will, you know,

(02:15):
they really supported that, not necessarilybeing transgender, but just a level
right you know. So so myquestion to you is, what are your
thoughts on pushing these little kids intothat space? What are your thoughts?
What thoughts on that is? It'snot up to the schools, it's up

(02:38):
to the parents. What happened thisthing? What happened to think called privacy?
And we know so much going onI have, you know, with
this the transgender to everything lgbtqu ifyou call it, but you don't have
the right to teach these kids.Oh it's okay, go ahead, you
want to be a little girl?Go ahead? Fine, I mean no,

(03:00):
no, no, that's not cool. That's not cool at all.
You gotta lead. Let the parentsbe a parent. That's that's the child,
not George. And that's one ofthe arguments. It's like, hey,
you know, how does the schoolboarddictate what's best for my kid?
Right? You know, you don'tknow my values, You don't know what
we have going on, you know. Um, so how are you going

(03:20):
to push this agenda to change youknow what we had? Right? Um?
And as one lady, she youknow, she was so animates she
said, you have strictly separated mychild from me, you know, because
it's one teacher was saying, hey, you can, you know, turn
this little girl into a boy. This is the way. This is the
way this parent put it. Youturn my girl to a boy. And

(03:43):
when my daughter wanted to come andsay something to me about it, the
teacher said, don't say nothing toyour parents. That was crazy. That
is crazy. So how you wow? Right? Right? You know?
So so how do you how doyou deal with that? You know what?
That's a very good question. Butit's like I can't give you the

(04:08):
answer because you know, it's meanswe're not going through that, right,
we don't know. So basically weneed to talk to somebody whose child is
going through that, right because wewe we can't give you the Anybody can
give you any answers, but yougotta give the correct answer. Anybody can
say, oh, well, thenyeah, you don't want anybody to blah
blah blah. No, no,no, it's deeper than that. Right,

(04:30):
you have to talk to that person. And see, you got to
talk to the parents. But theschools don't have no right. It just
seems like to mean, it's likea political gender now right, right,
Oh, okay, we sit whenthey sitting around the ground table here,
okay, let's do something stupid.Yeah yeah, it seemed crazy, but
it's that's what it seemed like itis now right. It's it's like you're

(04:55):
not these schools is not showing respectfor their parents. I mean, well,
here's the question though, what didthe what did the parents do to
deserve respect, especially during the pandemic. I'm not I mean, I understand,
I'm just I mean, that doesn'texcuse anything, right, you know,
but you know, but if youthink about how many parents we're not

(05:17):
happy with the teachers teaching the kidsor whatever else. Well, listen,
well you should be in control yourkids, dare you? Yeah? Right?
Yeah, because some of these kidsthey did virtue doing the pandemic and
still fail. Right, that's allyou gotta do. Rollover, put your

(05:40):
rollover, go to class and goback and go back to sleep and gat
me do that. So basically theytalked about old and learn and learning.
It's better in school. You're y'alldoing the same thing, right, It's
just that they're dressed, that's it. But they're still going to school.
Put their head on the desk ifthat that's it, or even if they
like, even if they don't gointo the building, right, you know,
they might not even go into thebuilding exactly, go to their friend

(06:03):
hand and put their head, youknow, put their head down, right,
you know. It's just like,I don't know, even though both
side, you know, the parentsgot to be a parent in the school
just gotta be supportive of the parents, right, But I can understand some
of these parents they lass control ortheir job. I don't know, I
don't know, I don't know.Either. I think it's just real weird

(06:26):
of how they're trying to dictate whatyou can do. Like you're gonna push
that agenda, but you can't pray, you can't you know, discipline,
you know, all these things thatyou can't do right, right, you
know, and now you're gonna pushthis this idea. I have nothing against
it, right you give what Imean? Like if someone feels as though
that's their you know, that's theirpreference. It's interesting that you know,

(06:50):
the United States is pushing this agenda, but if you look at almost all
the other countries around the world, they're against it, you know, like
one good one country. You knewthey ain't going for Russia. Look,
I mean there were some African countriessaid they're not doing it. Um they
actually outlawed it pretty much. Um. You know. So so you know,

(07:12):
when you look at this agenda, what is the agenda? What's the
idea? Yeah, and what's theI mean, plus also what's the purpose
of doing it? I have noclue. I have no clue. I
really don't know. Um, youknow, if you even when with this
young lady, I can't remember hername, I want to say Rileley.
I think it's I think it's Riley, but the young lady that was the

(07:36):
swim at the swim meet and it'sa transgender individual one, you know,
and how she was upset that, you know, the the you know,
they pushed her to the side touplift this individual, right you know,
um, you know, so nowthere's such a big argument, a big

(07:57):
fight about regards of your transgender You'restill a guy, right then? You
know I heard it was they takinghormones whatever you call of a man.
I'm like out to me, howyou do that? I mean, you
still got the strength of a man. And that's what this one person said.
Umm, I was looking at againagain our YouTube life. Uh you

(08:20):
know where where this gentleman he wasin. He was in the circle with
other women and he was talking atwell, I'm sorry he was. She
was talking about how she had beentaking hormones for over twenty years and she
said she's still the same size asshe was in high school as she is

(08:41):
today, that's even after taking thehormones, and that she can still she
said, before she had taken thehormones, you know, consistently, Yes,
it made her weaker to some degree, but before she took the hormones.
She was able to lift a vengine out of a car. Oh
wow, wow, now he's likehe could do a four cylinder engine.

(09:07):
I did you do it? Butstill, how strong is that? That's
stilling? Really strong strong? Youget what I mean? You know?
So so um, not saying awoman born a woman can't do that,
you know, but how far didit have to go to just get to
that point? Right? Yeah?Yeah, you get what I mean?
You know? So, so that'sreally interesting that how they're pushing this agenda.

(09:30):
Um, and for what like what'sthat? What's the outcome? Right?
Right? You know is it?Um? I mean the way I
look at it, this is againthis is just my own opinion. Is
this how you control the population?Yeah? How about that? I don't
know, you know, it's justan idea. Yeah, I mean I

(09:52):
don't. I can't say it's gettingout of hand, but I just I
was the only way well I canunderstand. It's like a person that's transgender,
explain it to us. They feelinghow they was going about doing it,
right, I'm not gonna get upthere, you know, give you
the wrong answer. Good question, because I don't know, right, yeah,
yeah, I'm not asking for youknow, a whole answer and um,

(10:15):
you know, for us to bejudgmental or anything like that. Um,
but you know, it's just aquestion because again one of them late
night videos, right, and thenonce you watch one, of course,
now all of a sudden you're gettinglike you bench watching, right, you
know, because now all like allof a sudden, YouTube algorithms start seeing

(10:35):
you all these different ones, differentones. Right, You're like, well,
what is that about exactly? Youknow? So um, yeah,
the the I don't know, Idon't know. I mean, our best
bet is, like like I said, you know, talk to this or
a person that's that's going through that, right, and they can give it

(10:56):
a better expert natural definition or whateveryou can call the process or whatever.
They can fully explain it to us, because I'm not gonna sit up there
assume oh well yo yo, youjust want to be a girl. It's
it's deeper than that. It's deeperthan that. But this situation with the
schools, the school board, theydon't have a right but just worry about

(11:16):
how about we're about teaching math stufflike that, that's really more important.
I mean, you're not gonna geta goody you're a transgender or your degree?
Right? Come on? I meanand you know what's what's even deeper?
Um in this whole space again, this whole bit, like I said,

(11:39):
Bene watching thing right. Um.They were talking about how in sports
they probably need to create a differentlane. Now in sports you got men's
women and then transgender. Oh okays, you just didn't get like train end
to everybody who's training to play thatsport then, you know, right,

(12:00):
I mean because because because because inreality, that levels the field and plus
they'd be a more competiti give againstother trans That makes sense, right,
you know, you level the field, right, you know. And they
were talking about how they were referencingSerena Williams. Was she on Jimmy Fallon.
I can't remember which what talk showshe was on, but but they

(12:22):
referenced her because she said, hey, you know, do you want to
you know, place a male intennis? She said, no, I
can't do that there. The tennisgame is way different, totally different,
you know. So she's like, there's no way I can compete. You
know. So this lady that that'sin this whole swimming thing. You know,
you can understand why she probably feelsthat way, right, right,

(12:43):
you can you get what I mean? You know, so I think that
that's um um. I just thinkthat is interesting that you're starting it so
young. Yeah, in elementary school. Yeah, I know why menjorary school.
I mean I can see really likejunior high, high school something like

(13:05):
that. But elementary school community, they still trying to figure it out,
you know when and one is tworight, right, and it'll makes sense?
Why so while basically the school boyslike trying to brainwash the kids,
right, that's what it feels like. Yeah, I mean, and you
did. You can't do that. This is why, this is why these
parents going off. I don't blamethem, yeah, I mean I don't

(13:26):
blame them either, you know becauseif if if you're really going to push
that type of agenda, then whathappens twenty thirty forty years from now?
You know, and let's look atlike this too, in all honesty,
how many of us would love tohave grandkids? Right? You get what
I mean? You know? Soyou know when when you sit back and

(13:52):
like, hey, you know thisis what I have done legacy wise,
kids, grandkids, great grandkids. If you're us that be that here that
long. You know, you wantto see that, right, you want
to experience that, right, youknow, so you're gonna take away my
dream because of what? Yeah, but you know it is always the second

(14:13):
alternative. You know. It wasa doctor, you can, I mean,
I mean, so I understand thenatural going to through the natural phases,
right right? Yeah? Yeah, that's crazy, man, It's totally
crazy. But and so, howhow would you feel, you know,
if your daughter came home and said, now I want to be a boy,
Like, I don't know how Ifeel if my daughter said that either,

(14:37):
I don't know either. You know, I know that, um my
daughter questioned her sexuality at one time, you get what I mean. You
know, wasn't that she was intogirls and things like that, but that
was short lived, right, andpart of that was her surround us who
she was hanging around with, right, you know, you can what I

(15:00):
mean? And I think most peoplego through that. You know, you're
a teenager, you question in everythinganyway, you know, So, um,
but for her to say, hey, you know, I would prefer
to be a boy, I'm notsure how I feel, Like why be
honest, like, like, whatother thing is? It might feel like
Okay, what did I do wrong? That though, will be in the

(15:22):
back of your head what I doright, I mean, especially when you
haven't been around that, right, you know, well what happened? Like
you know, I listened to somepeople talk about, hey, you know
they they were molested or rape andthings like that. So I can understand
in certain situations, you get whatI mean. But it's just it's just

(15:43):
interesting, just this type of topic, is it is? You know again,
we're not trying to condemn nobody, you know, as you see,
we're not trying to impose our thoughtsand our value us and say, hey,
you know what, you know we'rea Democrat but conservative but you know,
or or a liberal but repet youknow, whatever the situation is,

(16:03):
Your life is your life, right, you know, you you control it
the way you control that path, the way you want that path. Right,
But we don't. We don't havethe right to say, oh that's
wrong, blah blah. We can't, like you said, we're not gonna
not being judgmental, right, right, you make your own decisions, right,
you know, And this is America, right, it is America.
You know, you have a youhave a choice, but you know,

(16:27):
do you have to impose your choiceon someone else, right, and let
alone someone else's kid. Yeah, that's the you know, see, that's
the part right there where you know, you don't you know you could do
sometimes sometimes you could do stuff tothe to the adult, right and then
let it go by. Let youlet you do something to the kid.

(16:47):
Oh the world will it's going toend right right? Well, you know
you got some people do some strength. Now that's another topic, you know,
but I would love to know whatyour thoughts are are on this topic.
Man. You know, Um,it's really strange to me, very

(17:07):
it's very on the ordinaria. It'sjust I can't explain it, and you
can't explain it, so I can't. I can't. I don't get the
agenda. I don't see the longterm. No, no, no,
I don't see that. I don'tsee how that works. Right, you
get what I need that we needthat up to the paims. They want

(17:30):
their little boy to be a girl, that's what they do, right.
You don't teach it that in school, right, that's some of that's private,
right, you give what I meanexactly, you know, and everybody
don't want their business out there, right, so you know it's it's somebody
on the school board. They goingthrough the same thing. I don't know,
we wouldn't know and see it andit hit. Now. Here's what's

(17:52):
interesting though, because I'm only hearingseeing the snippets. I don't actually hear
the school board for like one ortwo videos. What the school boards responses
are, right, Um? Now, out of those one or two videos,
like there was one school board chairperson he was like, you need
to get off the stage and you'redisruptive. Well no, let you need

(18:14):
to have this person speak exactly. That's why they had school board meetings,
right, parents, parents, teachingwould come on now and they got the
right to stand up and talk, right, Especially it's about date child,
right they neighbors child or whatever hersituation is. But just don't that just
seemed too political certain degree? Ohyeah, I agree, as I see

(18:37):
politics in it. Yeah, youknow, Um, that's why I said,
that's why I think, like,hey, it's a form of population
control. You get what I mean? Right, Um, what you're still
strange? I mean, well again, you know, if you think about
it, though, in some ways, what's the strongest part of a community

(18:59):
when you have the whole family togetherright, you know, and when you
start breaking it apart, their buyingpower and everything else changes. Yeah that's
true. Yeah, you get whatI mean. You know, so if
the family stays together, their buyingpower is a lot stronger. And then
next thing, you know, youknow. So, so if you pay
attention to what's going on where allthese major companies are buying up all real

(19:22):
estate, yeah you get what Imean. You know, they're tearing down
houses to build all these mega houses, you know, just like Swallow,
New Jersey. Right, wow,Wow, the people ain't happy about that
over there. They're not happy.Big factory in the back of the house.
They don't see like nice no farmland, right, stuff like that.

(19:45):
Yeah, you're right, you know. But hey, you know again
imminent domain or some of those otherterms that people use from stuff like that.
Yeah, what are you gonna do? What you gonna do? It's
like it feel like you can't donothing when you can voice your opinion.
Okay, well we get back toyou. Okay, right, it's basically
putting you on whole right, soright, so yeah, so yeah,

(20:07):
so you know, let us knowwhat your thoughts are, truly, do
you know, you know, thisis crazy for me. For me,
Um, I'm not sure how Iwould take it, to be honest,
my kids are no longer and youknow those grades of you will like I
like, we have kids that's aboutto graduate college, right you know.

(20:30):
But but here's a reality though. We don't know what they got to deal
with by the time they have kids, whether it's they birth it or adoption
or whatever. Right, you know, we don't know, Like, you
know, that's gonna be crazy. You know, I have a niece that
my brother's oldest daughter. You know, her son is one. He'll be

(20:52):
one in June, you know,so three or four or five more years
he'll be in school. Yeah, you know, so what is that experience
is going to be like? Right, So it's not like, hey,
I'm that far removed from it orsee the experience from that, oh would
be shortly to be shortly, right, it will. So. But you
know, thank y'all very much forlistening to us today, and we will

(21:15):
talk to y'all later. You areand we look for change, and you did not
