Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well, look at here.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
You are listening to someone who is bold, authentic, diverse, unpredictable. Baby,
I am unapologetically Ramon, and you have entered my zone,
the QB Zone.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Baby. Hello, somebody.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Rock Ja, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. It is your Borromont mar
Keith and thank you guys for coming on down to
the QB Zone. I want to ask you a question,
part less serious question. Have you ever had to move
(01:08):
on from something move forward in life without getting the
closure you need? Have you ever had to move on
in life or move on from something without being the
pology that you feel you need and deserve.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
That's kind of what I want to touch on.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Today, finding out, or rather learning how to thrive without closure.
You know, life is full of unexpected twists and turns,
some of which leaves us yearning for closure or an
(01:52):
apology that may never come. It's natural to seek resolution
and understanding. But what happens when that closure remains elusive?
How do we move forward, grow and thrive despite the
absence of the closure we desire in this episode? In
(02:17):
this episode, I just want to talk about some strategies,
some tips to help us navigate the path ahead without
the closure we seek. The first thing that we need
to do is embrace acceptance. The first step towards thriving
(02:38):
with our closure is to embrace acceptance. Understand that closure
may not always be within reach, and that's okay, except
that you may never receive the apology you're waiting for
or the closure you seek, and focus on finding peace
within yourself. By acknowledging this reality, you can begin to
(03:02):
let go of the need for external validation and create
your own sense of closure. The next thing you want
to do is cultivate self reflection. Self reflection is a
powerful tool that can help you make sense of your
emotions and experiences even in the absence of closure. Take
(03:27):
time to journal, meditate, or engage in activities that promote introspection.
By exploring your feelings and thoughts, you can gain a
deeper understanding of yourself and the situation at hand. Self
reflection can provide the clarity and insight needed to move
(03:50):
forward with grace and strength. Next, I want us to
practice forgiveness. This is probably gonna be the hardest one
of the tips I'm gonna give you, because it's probably
hard to move on specifically, and a forgiveness standpoint when
(04:13):
there's no accountability and apology Like lack of acondibidis drives
me crazy. But practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is not about excusing
the action of others, but about letting go of resentment
and anger. By choosing to forgive, you free yourself from
(04:33):
the emotional burden of seeking closure from someone else. Practice
forgiveness as a gift to yourself, allowing you to release
negative energy and move forward with a lighter heart. Remember,
forgiveness is a process and it may take time, but
(04:54):
the piece it brings is invaluable. And never allow anyone
to rush you to get to this point. Next, I
want us to focus on personal growth in the absence
of closure. Read direct your energy towards personal growth and
self improvement. Set goals, pursue new interests, and invest in
(05:21):
activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. By focusing on
your own growth, you empower yourself to create a meaningful
and enriching life, regardless of external circumstances. Embrace the journey
of self discovery and transformation as you navigate. As you
(05:43):
navigate the path without closure. Next, and this is actually
the last tip, seek support. I definitely benefited from this
once I allow myself permission to do this. Touch you
can be so guarded and so independing.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I'm gonna push the things along.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Seek support. Navigating life without closure can be challenging, but
you don't have to do it alone. Lean on your
support system or I like to call them my village, friends, family,
or therapist for guidance and encouragement. Share your feelings and
(06:26):
experiences with trusted individuals. Trusted make sure they learn your trust. Okay,
trusted individuals who can offer empathy and understanding. Do not
go seek and support or advice from people who can't
even relate to what you're going through. If they ain't
been through some things or been through something similar, don't
(06:49):
take support from them because they probably gonna say something
cliche that's not really gonna help, or they're gonna say
something that you're gonna feel. The minutes, you can feel
misunderstood and you just might trigger you and make.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Even more pissed off.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
So yeah, make sure they understand sinking. Support can help
you prosit or emotions, gain perspective, and find strength in
times of uncertainty. Moving forward in life without the closure
or apology you desire, It's a journey. Let nobody tell
(07:26):
you no lie. It's definitely a journey and it requires courage, resilience,
and self awareness. By embracing acceptance, cultivating self reflection, practicing forgiveness,
focusing on personal growth, and seeking support, you can thrive
and flourish despite the absence of closure. Remember, closure is
(07:52):
not a prerequisite for your happiness and well being. Your
journey towards growth and fulfillment can begin today. It can
begin right now with or without closure. So the quote
that I want to live you with is this, and
is by a woman named Karen Salmonson. Karen Salmonson, and
(08:17):
she says, no amount of anxiety can change the future,
no amount of regret can change the past.
