(00:44):
Kuda Law Firm guidance that moves lives forward. Welcome back
to the Rewrite. I'm your host Wendy Sloan and my
guest today. I've known for about twenty years. This is
her second time on the podcast. But little did I
know how our lives would intertwine as the years would
go on.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Is the way the divine universe works.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
She's a medium, healer, spiritual teacher, certified yoga and meditation teacher.
Through her own experience, she learned the art of healing
and teaches that and watch our clients to help them
clear away that which keeps them trapped so they can
shine as the brilliant light that they are and live
their best life.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Isn't that something that we all aspire to do. She's
an all.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Around beautiful person inside and out, and I'm so blessed
to call her my friend.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Welcome to my show, Candace Green.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Thank you, Wendy. I'm so grateful for you and so
grateful to be here.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Thank you, and I should say welcome back, and you're
so welcome. I'm honored to have you back. And it's
the way the universe works. I've told that story so
many times, about that Facebook private message that you sent
me when I was on the plane going to my
dad's surgery and you had said, do you want to

(01:57):
have Pat Longo on your show and we'll talk about
our sweet Pat that just passed away recently.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
A great loss to everybody here.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Incredible her family, her friends, everyone that she worked with
and taught, especially her family. She was just a bright
light to everyone.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Oh my god, I believe she saved my dad's life
after his surgery. I credit her to that and so
much more and just being that person in my life.
And I know you feel the same way for all.
We'll get into that a little bit more, but wow,
but that message and then reconnected us. Yes, it's just,
and it's just, and then our worlds just keep colliding.

(02:39):
It's amazing, right, absolutely so grateful. Okay, So for those
that didn't hear your first interview, and I encourage.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Everyone to listen to that.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Tell us about you, your mom of two grown, beautiful boys.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
The gifts that you have.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
It first became a parent that was triggered by a
tragic loss in nineteen ninety two, share with us that
a little bit you personally sure.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
In nineteen ninety two, I lost suddenly, tragically, he took
his own life, my high school boyfriend that I had
dated for years. He was my best friend. And it
was sudden and shocking, and it really sent me into
a very into a really tough space. And then about
a month after he passed, I suddenly woke up in

(03:26):
the middle of the night. My phone rang once I
heard him say, God said I can call you one
more time. And that trauma. Pat later explained to me,
it was the trauma that triggered the gifts. I had
no idea they were there before that. So then that
led me into this journey.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Well, first of all, that kind of loss, that kind
is traumatic for someone at any age, and you were
so young, yes, deeply in love, and then this happened,
and there's so many questions surround that. So then after that,
for twenty one years after the loss, you started experiencing things.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Tell us to walk us through that and all those
years later.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, I would have just strange things happen. I would
see flashes of people who'd passed. I would hear things,
I'd know things about people. It was like suddenly in
my ear, I'd hear something about a person and then
find out later that it was true. I used to
dream of people who passed all the time, and they
would give me messages. The challenging part with it was

(04:41):
I would wake up in the night and I would
feel like there were people in my room and I'd
turn the light on and there was nobody there. So
there was an anxiety piece to it as well. I
remember traveling on vacation and I was in London and
I went to the tower, and I remember feeling all
these people around me, not the regular people there, and
I thought I was crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
So what were you doing with all that nothing?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
I would call my mom and say, you're not going
to believe who I just saw, and she'd say, what
do you think that's about? And I don't. I have
no idea. It just happens to me. There was a
part of me that thought everybody had experiences like that,
but people just didn't talk about them.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I was going to say, nobody would talk about that exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You would be somewhere and you would see somebody, but
they weren't really there, but they were there for you.
They were there only you could see them.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yes, yes, so, and then you just went on.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
With your life thinking, probably everyone does this, but no
one talks about it.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Exactly?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
How long did that go on for?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Twenty over twenty years?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
And were these people saying things to you? Were they
were they? Or were they just there?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Most of the time they were just there, but if
I dreamt of someone, they would say something. Or sometimes
I'd just be doing something normal, like standing in my
kitchen cooking and I would suddenly feel my grandfather all
around me. Was it always people you knew most of
the time. Sometimes not. That could get as it progressed

(06:16):
years later. I would wake up in the night and
see someone I didn't know standing over my bed looking
at me, and that could always be greeting. I never
was afraid. I don't know why. I just was never
afraid of them.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Interesting.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I would just sort of wake up, look at them
and say, Okay, go away, I need to sleep. And
that was it.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
That's what you would say.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
And you were still at this time thinking, oh, this
must happen to everybody, but people don't talk about it, okay,
can So one day in twenty thirteen you passed out, Yes,
and the illness literally manifested in your heart as a
result of all this unprocessed trauma. Yeah, all these years

(06:58):
later you passed out and share with us that story.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Or what had happened. Was right before that happened, I
had decided to start meditating, and as I started to meditate,
I had things start to memories start to come up,
and they were two things. Some were childhood trauma and
then they were Jason's passing. And I didn't really I
didn't know any of this then, so I didn't understand
what was happening. But what I know now happened was

(07:26):
I didn't fully process these events in my life. And
in Yogic terms, they call this blocked energy. They're called
sam scarus, and they get stored in our heart. So
when I took the time to meditate, those energies that
were blocked in there started to come out through memories
as I meditated. But what I believe happened, and of
course there's a medical explanation for what happened, but I

(07:48):
also think there's always an energetic piece. And what happened
was is I sat to meditate, the energy in my
heart started to move and because of that, it almost
like short circuited and caused an electrical physical manifestation in
my heart.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Wow, so our thoughts become who we are?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Isn't that the saying our thoughts become buy things?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Pat always said that, yes.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
So you this was like literally manifesting in your heart. Yes, okay.
And so after that happened, and what happened then then
I know you were in a is this the next
part is you were you were in a bookstore.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
I was in a bookstore, randomly saw a book by
Teresa Computo. Didn't know who she was, picked up the
book started flipping through it, and she talked about Pat
Longo the Healer, and I thought, well, maybe she can
help me. I was desperate. There was nothing they can do.
It was like a last sort of effort. So I
called Pat and made an appointment with her. And then

(08:51):
when I went to her, she said to me, I
can see that you're a medium. Do you ever have
And I said, oh, no, I'm not. She said, well,
do you ever have experiences? And I said, well yeah,
and she said, tell me about them. So I started
to tell her, and in Pat's most wonderful way, she
just kind of looked at me like duh.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
And So this was all these years later.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
All these years later, Yes.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Isn't it amazing?

Speaker 1 (09:19):
So when you look back now and you think about
the moment that we've talked about who Pat was and
how dear she was to us and how she said
that to us, did it all like?

Speaker 2 (09:28):
How did that sink in with you? Like? What was that? Like?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It was like my whole life suddenly made sense. All
these things that I thought were sort of strange or
made me feel a little if I'd go into public
spaces or big parties, I'd start my heart would start
to race, and I'd feel nervous and I didn't know why,
and I realize now it was because there's all that
energy in there. And so it was like everything in

(09:53):
my life just fell into place and like this light
went on. Oh I get it now, I understand.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
So did you started training with pat?

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I did.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
She wanted to teach me to control the energy so
that I would be able to manage it.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
So how was that like? What was that like?

Speaker 1 (10:15):
It?

Speaker 3 (10:15):
You know, it was quite a journey. It was fun
and exciting because I learned to tune in and but
also along with that part of the journey, you put
yourself into the space of really having to heal all
your own stuff too. So it's like a side by
side journey for me learning to channel, but also working
on anything that I needed to heal as well. Because

(10:38):
you're raising your energy when you channel, you raise the
Kundolini energy up the spine into the higher chakras. And
when you raise the energy, any lower vibrational energy has
to go. And what that is is hurts that we've
had any blocked traumas that we've had. We all have it.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
So was there were you ever like tired because you
were experiencing these for all those years, you were experiencing
you know, people coming to visit you, and was that
did that like was that an emotionally tiring thing because
or was it just part of your normal every day?
And then when you started to learn to tune it

(11:17):
out when you know when you wanted it or when
you didn't want it?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Like, what is that?

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Like? It was tiring when I was out in public
in big spaces, being able to feel if you're walking
through a grocery store and you can feel someone who's
unhappy and unwell, and because I'm empathic, I would feel
all that energy of their set. So that could get
exhausting and that was a tough That was challenging for me.

(11:44):
But now I know how to block it.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
So before when you didn't know what those what that
all that was all those years?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
But now that you know, is it hard for you?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Like when you're say, we're at a grocery store and
all of a sudden, you know somebody needs you.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Is it hard for you to just walk away from that?
How do you handle that?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I say a prayer for them, So I've got boundaries
up so that my own energy doesn't get drained. But
I know that I'm getting the message that that person
is hurting or in pain, and so I say a
prayer for them and ask the divine the universe to
please send them love and to heal them and help
them with whatever they need. Oh wow, And we all

(12:23):
have that ability, by the way.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Tell us about that a little bit.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
We all do. It's divine energy, and where energy, our
soul is energy. We have energy constantly moving through us,
and that divine energy flows through all of us. So
all we ever need to do is say a prayer
and ask to help anyone ourselves as well.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It's so much of this podcast that has evolved now
since it's called The Rewrite, a podcast about divorced choice
in New Beginnings. We've talked a lot about manifesting, about mindfulness,
about meditation, about the energy so much, and I've learned
so much. And I've always been one of those people
that I'm walking down the street and I'm always smiling
or saying hello to somebody, and I realize now it.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Does change the energy of that person.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Or even when I'm walking with my golden retriever, I
notice people smile more when they see him, so his
energy even changes, but I didn't really know what it was.
I was just like, oh, he so kidt he makes
everybody happy. But it's the energy all around us.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Absolutely, that energy flows through us in nature and animals, pets,
dogs can all animals. They're healers on this earth. So
when you bring that dog out, his energy is so
bright and beautiful that it automatically makes people feel better.
So doesn't yours when you smile at them or anyone.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
If they could just change that, right, if someone could
just change their face from a frown or from just
being to a smile, it makes all the difference in
the world, because what we put out there is what
we get back.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Absolutely, the universe is mirroring to us what is going
on inside us. Sometimes the universe is also trying to
show us our greatness too, And I think that's the
piece people forget when they have a challenge or go
through a tough time that sometimes the universe we always think, ah,
what of it and wrong? Or what's the lesson here?
Well there are lessons as well, But maybe the universe

(14:17):
is just trying to show you how strong you are,
how capable you are.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
It doesn't give us anything with which we can't handle,
and sometimes it's very hard.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
To understand that, absolutely super hard.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
We're going to take a very quick break for one
of our sponsors for commercial. When we write back with
Candice Screen, We're going to I'm going to ask her
about her mediumship. I'm going to ask her about talking
to the other side and what's that like and how
has that been for when we write back right after this.
Most co parents want the same thing, to know that
their kids are safe when they're with the other parent,
that they're being buckled into the car by a sober driver,

(14:51):
and that the person tucking them into bed at night
isn't slurring their words.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
The problem is courts are reactive.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
They usually step in only after something has already gone wrong.
You don't want to wait for a crisis, you want
to be proactive. That's where soberlink comes in. Soberlink is

Speaker 2 (16:04):
We're back with the Red Right. I'm on with Candas Grave.
She is a healer, healer, medium.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Spiritual teacher, certified yoga and meditation teacher, and so much more.
All around beautiful, beautiful person inside and out. I can't
say that enough. Tell us about your mediumship and about
talking to the other side and how that came about,
and what a gift it's been for people for healing.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
I'm sure for so many.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
It's It was something that's progressed and grown as I
worked with it and as I learned how to work
with the energy. And it's been a tremendous gift, not
only for me in my own personal life, to have
that broader perspective of this is a life. Isn't it
all what we think it is? It's this beautiful experience

(16:52):
that we're having, and whether it's challenging or wonderful, it's
all a great experience. We get to experience do light
and dark. We get to experience, you know, all those
senses that we have that are different when we're pure
consciousness on the other side, and for other people come
that come to me for work, for them to be

(17:13):
able to get healing from their loved ones or their
guidance from their angels and guides, to let them know
it just changes everything for them.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
So for people that are skeptical or don't know or
don't understand it, or not believing in it, to talk
to the other side. And I've done this several times
with you and other people. I know that like one
of my grandmas doesn't really come around, she doesn't and
that the reason people don't come around and want to

(17:46):
come through is because they know you're okay, or there's
nothing that they need to say, or what is that like.
And I know one of my grandma's comes through all
the time and I know she's like one of my guides.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Yeah, it depends for many reason why people do or
don't come through. Their energy of your loved ones is
always with you, some of them. If they were quiet
in life and not the most communicative, they're going to
be the same. On the other side, if they in
life didn't really feel comfortable with mediumship or believe in it,

(18:18):
it's going to be harder for them to communicate. Sometimes
when you get a reading, it's about your energy, the
energy of the medium, and the energy of spirit. It's
all three put together. Sometimes your energy the medium's energy.
Somehow it just doesn't jive with the three of you.

(18:38):
So it's a little bit harder for them to get through.
But they're always there.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
They're always there, and all of us are put on
this earth together. The people that we meet for a
reason is that the way the universe works. I mean,
people come into our lives at different times. People some
people stay, some people don't and it's all the way
it's meant to be.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Talk to us about them a little bit.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
So we all come here, we all have a plan.
We choose our parents, we choose our life path. Now
we have free will, so things can always change, we
can always pivot. But there is a general guideline of
what we have to learn a lot of it's based
on our past lives, what we need to heal, what
our purpose is. And so we meet. We attract people

(19:27):
into our lives so that they can either trigger us
so we can heal what needs to be healed, or
so that they can support us and bring something to us.
Some they do both.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
My gosh, it's it's really amazing. Okay, So tell us
about your work with the inner alchemy.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
How do you say it? Because I could never say
it right.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
So in our alchemy is just a word that you know,
alchemy means transforming based metals gold, And I think I
just love it because you know, we are on this
earth and we have these these energy blocks and these challenges,
and if we can learn to shift our perspective and
change it to our truth, our authenticity to heal it,

(20:13):
then it's taking that little bit of dark that we're
experiencing it, turning it into bright light into gold.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
So give us a little example of that, Like, give
us example.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Sure, So say you're going through this experience where let's
just use the example of divorce. I know a lot
of people in your podcasts are listening for that. You
can sit there and say to yourself, why did this
happen to me? You know this was if you were
in a relationship that the person really hurt you, Why

(20:44):
did they do this to me? You can do that,
and it's fine to do it for a little while.
Of course, you have to process the trauma, but there
comes a point when you move the energy of that
through you where you can start to shift it and say,
everything happens for a reason. I know this is for
my highest good. I have learned here that I am strong.

(21:07):
You've learned maybe if someone put you down, you can
shift it to wow, now I see my worth right,
That's all. It is a simple shift.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Okay, So some give us some tip, some tips I
know we can walk us through this. Meditation, affirmation, grounding,
like things that we can do to heal ourselves.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Absolutely, meditation is the number one most important thing that
you can do because It allows the energy to move
that's stuck in there. But it also creates an awareness
in us, so that if we're moving through our day
and we're not really thinking about what we're thinking, and
our monkey mind is just going, it can send us

(21:49):
down a path that isn't even true, that isn't even healthy.
I'll give you an example of that. When Jason passed
away because of how he died, I started my mind
and my grief created a story that I should have
helped him. I wasn't good enough because why couldn't I
help him? Why did I not see the signs? Why

(22:11):
did I not know? So that energy got stuck in
there and I carried it with me, and when I
started to meditate, it came out. But when you're running around,
racing through life, things don't always come out. So that
meditation creates an awareness for you where you can catch
yourself and say, wait a minute, is that even true?
I'm thinking that I'm worthless here? Is that even true?

(22:34):
Or can I look at this in a different perspective?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Right?

Speaker 1 (22:39):
So, meditation, and then what about grounding yourselves? Ground and
all that? I know there's other tips that you do.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Yes, grounding is really important because we spend a lot
of our time in our heads and we get unbalanced.
You know, we're in our head, but we're also here
to experience earth. And if you could just get outside
and connect to the earth and realize that we're always
in a cycle of life, death and rebirth. It's that spiral,

(23:08):
and nature reminds us of that. And then the earth
has her own beautiful energy. So if you can put
your feet in the grass, or put even just put
your hands in water outside or touch a tree, you
start to pick up that energy and it shifts yours.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
So you don't have.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
To go anywhere to meditate. You can actually just meditate
at home. You can meditate when you wit at any
time of the.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Day, anytime, you can do a walking meditation outside. You
can just take a two minute break. I work with
a lot of clients who are really busy. They have
high executive busy jobs, and they have children, and I
tell them take a micro meditation break where you just
sit for a couple minutes at your desk, or if

(23:50):
you have to go to the bathroom and just to
get some quiet and space and just breathe, tune into
how you feel, and just sit there a couple minutes.
That's all it takes. It doesn't take hours a day
or even twenty minutes. They say, is the great is
a great number, But if you can get five minutes
in here or there, perfect.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
So how do we shift our energy that's become things?
Like you were explaining that a little bit more. Can
you go into a little bit more detail about that?

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Sure? Sure, So when we have an experience or a
thought in our mind, there's an energy behind it. So
you want to become aware of that energy. But you
also want to move the energy through your body. I
always suggest dance, yoga. You can sing really loud. That
helps move energy, and you want to physically move the

(24:43):
energy out of your body. And once you've moved whatever
it is, this is a terrible day. Everything's going wrong
for me. You know when your mind goes in that stop,
move the energy, recognize it, move the energy through you.
Once you've moved the energy, then you can start to
shift it to I think something great is going to

(25:06):
happen today, or you know, this may have happened, it's
not perfect, but there still was a lot of good
in it, And then you can start to think about.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
The good it's amazing, as simple as that. You know,
you know, you don't realize it's just as simple as that.
So people, what are people come to you mostly for?

Speaker 3 (25:25):
It depends. Most of the time, people are looking for
some closure on an experience that they've had and then
also some guidance to move forward.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
So how do you give them that closure?

Speaker 3 (25:41):
It's not me, it's all spirit working through me. I
just put myself in the place and what comes to me.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
I say, it's amazing. And on a note, you don't
remember after you do these, after you do these healing sessions,
these you know, the medium ship, you don't remember any
of it.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
No, and do that?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Does it? Does it?

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Why does it do that to you? Why does it
take it away from you afterwards?

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Well, if it's not that been, stay in you or
they're not my thoughts. So they're just moving through me,
so I don't really have a connection to them. But
also a lot of the work that I can do
can be really heavy and it would be a lot
for me to carry all of that.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
I would think.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
So, so all those years ago, the loss of your
high school boyfriend, if that had not happened, do you
think any of this would have been triggered in you.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I don't know, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
That's a question though, right, It's like, so everything happens
for a reason. Yes, there's something that was on your
website that I wanted to read. We were all here
on earth together for a reason. We are all part
of the one source of love in the universe. Every
single life has a purpose. Every one of us is
experiencing what we are experiencing for a reason. We may

(26:57):
not always know why, but there is always a deep reason.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Always.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
It's kind of like exactly what you said, So tell
us about tell us about your rewrite.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Well, I have spent over a decade now really on
a deeply personal internal journey, so I think I'm want
to bring that out a little bit more. I'm teaching
more workshops things like that, but also for me personally,
I want to get a little more grounded myself into

(27:32):
the earth. I love to hike, I love to travel.
There's all kinds of sacred spaces in the world that
I'd love to go and see and experience. That's so
a little more earthy.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
I love that, And I think you have something special
for us.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Yes I do. We're going to I'm going to walk
you through a meditation that I thought about just for
the rewrite, and it's about leaving something behind as you
start something new.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
I love that so much. Okay, so what do we
need to do this for this meditation? And thank you
for that?

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Oh you're so welcome. It's my honor and pleasure. Thank you.
All you need to do is get in a comfortable space.
It can be. It can be lying down or seated,
but you just want to keep your back straight, and
you can just start to close your eyes. If you
don't feel comfortable fully closing your eyes, you can just

(28:29):
kind of soften your gaze a little bit and start
to breathe, and you can start to tune into the breath.
And as you tune into the breath, start to become
aware of your body. Notice any places of tension in

(28:54):
your body, maybe your neck or your jaw. Notice your
breathing as it's shallow. Notice your heart does it feel
heavy today or light? And wherever you feel any tension

(29:18):
or tightness, direct the breath to that space on the inhale,
and then when you exhale, you can let it out
with an audible sigh. Release whatever's in there holding you tight.

(29:39):
Do that a few times, whatever feels right for you.
Notice in your mind's eye that there's a path in
front of you an autumn night, you can see the

(30:04):
full moon illuminating your path. Take a moment to notice
what the path looks like. Is it stone or grass?
Is it straight or windy? As you start to walk

(30:33):
your path, do you hear anything? Are there leaves crunching
under your feet? Notice any somatic sensations. You may feel

(30:54):
chilly air or a gentle breeze. You come to a
clearing and you see a bonfire in front of you.

(31:17):
There's a beautiful blanket set out for you with pillows,
and you take a seat, enjoying the piece. As you
look into the flame of the bonfire, you see little
violet lights. The violet flame is an energy that purifies

(31:41):
and transforms. As you sit there, you think about your
own rewrite. A rewrite is a rebirth, and for you
to be reborn, you get to release something that no
longer supports your new bee. Take a moment to think

(32:03):
about what that is. Maybe it's people pleasing or playing small,
or a lack of self worth. Whatever it is, you're
safe to let it go. You don't need it anymore.

(32:29):
You can watch the flames of the fire burn it
up and transmute it into light. When it's done, the
violet flames are gone and it's just a beautiful bonfire.

(32:53):
You've let it all go. You look down and in
front of you there's a package. Open it up. It's
a gift from your higher self. You may see a package,

(33:18):
you may not. It's okay. You may just get a feeling,
a knowing. You may see or hear something, but just
know your higher self is always there for you. All
you ever need to do is go within, allow the

(33:51):
space for your higher self to come through. As you say,
in this space, begin to embody and knowing that life
is a gift that your eternal soul. This is a

(34:18):
moment in time and it's yours. The universe is supporting you,
and you are loved. You get up your head back
on your path and start to become aware of where

(34:45):
you are, your body in the space. You can wiggle
your fingers and toes, gently open your eyes, reconnect to
your physical and the space you're in. Okay, come on back.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
I feel like I might have slept for like a
ten years. I mean, it's very invigorating, right, it's very
I don't know it, just feel I feel so much
more awake.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Yeah, because you release all that dense energy that you're
holding on to, maybe some stress or tension, or you know,
you're thinking of five things. We all do it, what
you have to do ahead of you in the day,
and you get out of that for a moment and
just connect in to your higher self, your soul.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
It seems so simple if everyone just knew all this,
everyone just knew about about the energy and the vibration
that we put out there, and how we can how
we can just change something so easy.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
We can tune in, and the body is the best
way to do that. Our soul is always talking to
us through the body. So if you can become aware
and notice, g im feeling, my heart feels tight, what's
happening here, or my breathing is really shallow, what's going
on here? If we can start to tune into that,
we can start to remember that we have this constant,

(36:20):
intuitive guidance coming to us all the time.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
So it's better.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
So don't hold on to things because it does manifest
in your body, or it could manifest. You don't know
how it's going to manifest, like, look what happened to you?
Manifest it in your heart?

Speaker 3 (36:34):
Absolutely, you know where energy, our soul is energy everything energy.
Energy is constantly in motion. It continues to move until
something stops it. That isn't even that's science. I think
it's Newton's what is it Newton's first law of motion.
So when we're going through our day and a belief

(36:59):
that isn't isn't authentic, isn't love? That separates us from
love starts to sit in there. Or if we experience
something that we don't process, we close our heart, it
stops the energy flow and the energy gets stuck. We
have seventy two thousand knotties. There are energy channels that

(37:21):
move through the body, and then we have the seven
main chakras. So if we can keep that energy flowing,
we're constantly processing life and it just moves through us
and it keeps us healthy, happy, is to the best
of our ability. Right, There's going to be times when
we go through difficult times. That's normal, that's human. But

(37:43):
can we embrace it instead of running from it and
blocking it? Can we embrace it and move through it?
Because on the other side, it's the light do.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
We all have our own power to be able to
tap into the other side.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Absolutely all came here with intuition and an ability to
tap in. It's kind of like we weren't dumped on
this planet with no support, no guidance, so we have it.
It's just it's developed differently in every person. When I
did that meditation, if you noticed, I walked us through

(38:18):
what you can see, what you can hear. Those are
we have clear senses, there are psychic senses, so they're
developed differently in different people. And how we get messages
is different for everybody. So by meditating, you can strengthen
your claires. When you do a guided meditation, you're imagining,
and imagination is the bridge to spirit, so that strengthened them.

(38:40):
And you also want to learn how does the universe
communicate with you? Do you hear songs running through your
mind and you don't know how they got there? That's
a message. Do you see feathers? Do you see numbers?
Do you see certain birds or animals? We all have
a way, and once our angels and guys know that

(39:01):
you're aware of what that is, they'll give you more
of it. They always want to communicate with us and
help us.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
So how do we so?

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Do we? Just?

Speaker 1 (39:10):
It's so funny that you say that, because I have
these pennies next to me, and I was walking one
day and all of a sudden there was a heads
up penny, just one like right in my path. Then
the next day there was two heads up pennies, like
two days in a row, like right in my path
I'm walking. How amazing was that? And I wasn't even

(39:31):
asking for it? Does that mean somebody was like wanting
me to know that they're around? And how did one
begin to ask? Like if somebody wants to speak to
someone that had passed, how did they ask for that?

Speaker 3 (39:44):
All they do is ask them, send me a sign,
let me know you're here, and then just wait and
be aware. Yes, it's a different for everybody.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
I think that's I would be aware because you don't
want to miss it, because it could be like you said,
it could be a fetter, It could be like a
penny like what I saw.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
It can be something so subtle. And oftentimes we ask
for a sign or for a guidance on something and
we think we're going to get it right away, and
then if it doesn't come right away, we're disappointed, but
that's not the way it works. It can be two
days later. I always suggest to people ask before you
go to bed, because sometimes you have a dream. Sometimes

(40:25):
you wake up in the morning and you just know,
or you hear a song when you're waking up in
the morning. But it can take some time. But just
keep your eyes open.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
Yeah, CANDUs Green, She's a medium, healer, spiritual teacher, shortify
yoga and meditation teacher, and so much more. What do
you want to leave us with your last thoughts here?
I mean, and please come back again and again and
again and again.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
I'd love to. The most important thing I want people
to know is to remember how amazing you are, remember
your greatness. Remember that everything that happens in life is
such a gift. It's such a gift. One of my
favorite quotes that I always go back to is from
the poet Hafiz, and it's when all our desires are distilled,

(41:14):
you will cast just two votes to love more and
be happy. And I always want people to remember that.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
What a way to leave us with love more and
be happy as we all should. Candice Green, thank you
so much for joining me on the Rewrite.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
You're so welcome, Wendy. It is such a pleasure to
be here. You're just amazing. Thank you.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
