How about it. We're used toshowcasing original music here, but in the
spirit of the big release we havejust came out. On Friday, we

Four and four singers? Right?Five? Five singers? The Noah

Gibney, who plays keys and pianoalso doubles as a vocalist, takes a
line or two yeah, and actuallywritten in all actuality. All eight kids

away by your guitar playing. Man, you just your way beyond your years.
How old are you? Fourteen? All right, I'm not saying like
age discrimination or anything, but I'mjust at the time fifteen two months.

Ashes to New the guitar Players wonat least one or if not more,
(18:44):
awards for his guitar work. Player'sname Trey Alexander actually taught you how to
play the guitar did for a fewyears. That he's a good teacher and
you're a good student. Was hethe first teacher you had? Like second?
Okay? Nice and the longest?Yeah? Yeah? And then right
after that I had Quentin Scott Jones. I don't know if you know Quentin
(19:07):
or not. I don't great greatguy saying this track. Great, it's
hard teacher or guy? We onlyneed great teachers in our lives. Yeah,
it's good, you know, tobe able to soak that up.
And I know you had to putthe work in and you've probably spent hours
practicing. I mean, yeah,it doesn't just come naturally. People think,
you know, it's took some lessons. And I can you know,
play like you know Skunk Baxter orsomething of the guys who are steely Dan,
(19:30):
I mean, you're unbelievable, allright? So you want to introduce
this next song for us? Uh? Yeah, here's Spain by Valerian Son
on the Local show on the Riverninety seven feet who puts you and sings
(20:03):

often how many gigs do you havea month? Would you say? I
think this month, I have abouteighty eight. There are plenty of musicians
out there that are working musicians thatdon't have eight gigs a month, so
you're really working hard already. Iappreciate that. And you have such a
(28:22):
great voice. Thank you. Ilove the way you play the guitar.
Where are some of your upcoming dates? Can you think off the top of

(32:30):
cover show on the Local Show.On the River ninety seven three, Episode
ten of The Local Show. OhMan, I love Queen. I'm a
huge Queen fan, and I loveEternal Frequency. They are so awesome.
I did not know that existed untilright now. It's today years old when
I learned that they covered, theshow must go On, and it sounded
so awesome. It was a verytimely cover too, because they released it
(32:52):
during COVID, so it was kindof, you know, a metaphor for
everything being shut down, and westill needed to keep the live local music
scene the live as well. Well. It was perfect timing and a perfect
version if you ask me. Butnow the moment you've been waiting for.
We've been teasing this for a coupleof weeks. Now I can't wait to
introduce us to you. Brandon. We've got members of the Central Pennsylvania Youth
All Star Band in here. Notonly we have the members of the band,
(33:15):
we've got the all important I wouldsay the most important, because they
wouldn't be here without them, notjust for driving them here, but I
mean, like existing on the planet. We've got some of the parents here,
Yeah, no doubt. I mean, you know, we talk about
the level of pride and the projectthat we put together from with the Central
Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame, buta lot of a lot of a lot
(33:37):
of hands go into making this asuccess. And I myself as a parent,
you know, the drummer Ethan Valentinehere, very proud of of my
son, but at the same time, you know, very proud of all
the kids. And credit to theparents really for turning this this project of
you know, multiple practices, drivingthe kids back and forth, taking time
(33:58):
out of their busy schedules to makesure that it's a success. So Bambi
and Jody have Bamby Alex Lee Warner'smom and Jody Addie Grace's mom. Any
any thoughts on on your level ofpride on the kids and putting together this
project. I think they did afantastic job. Like they put a lot
of hard work into it, alot of a lot of hours and really,
(34:20):
you know, stayed focused to makeit successful. Just proud of all
of them. So, Jody, what's it like when you see Addie,
you know, up there singing onthe video or even out a live show
in this case and all that shegets up there and she's brave and she
does her thing and she's comfortable.Yeah, because being on a microphone is
pretty intimidating, is it not?Good stuff? Here is the Central Pennsylvania
Youth All Star Band covering the Who'sBaba O'Reilly on the local show on the
(34:45):
River ninety seven three woo one tuggingup. I told me to fight,
(36:06):
so prove my mind and I tobe fucking don't cry, don't raise you.
(36:52):
But so Wisden Sallie, change myhead, true soul, thro the
fire and pass my shoulder. Hehasn't justusted it was so so lets together
(37:28):
before we give tune. It's onlyseen eggs on them? Seen a twin
(37:51):
flad, Seen eggs tway slam.I said the River nineteen seventy three with
(39:43):
the Central Pennsylvania Youth All Star Bandsversion of Baba O'Reilly told you it was
awesome. There's no way we couldoversell that version. How about it?
Man? I mean even even downto the very beginning, you know,
like it sounds like the original. That's not a sample, that's not something
they just lifted. And then that'sright. Now, what's the keyboard they
use? Noah Gibney playing the keyboard? They use a Nord and he has
(40:05):
like an arpeggio feature on it whereyou just kind of press the keys in
it and it doesn't And kudos toNoah too because he actually took the time
to look it up and said, how did the who do this got the
settings on his actual keyboard? Camein with it ultra prepared. So it's
incredible. And I loved what theydid at the end making it their own
instead of the fiddle part at theend, they and everybody sounds so great.
(40:25):
And where can they see the video? The video, hopefully at this
point, will be shared everywhere. You probably have already seen it, but
if not, it'll be on YouTubeas well as that audio track can be
streamed anywhere you can find music aswell, so all digital distribution services you
can say, you know, hey, Alexa play the Central Pennsylvania Youth All
Star band Babo O'Reilly. It willcome up. It'll be on iTunes,
(40:50):
Amazon Music, all that kind ofstuff. So feel free to check out
the song and take the time towatch the video. These kids put a
lot of a lot of time, pour their heart and soul into it,
and as I said before, CentralMany Music Hall of Fame could not be
more prouder of this project we wereable to put together and credit one hundred
percent to the kids for making absolutelyso much to be proud of and thanks
to rock Lititz. That's where theyrecorded the song and that's where they shot
(41:13):
the video. So go check itout. Man, what a what a
great project, and kudos because that'sone of the main reasons that the Central
Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame was foundedin the first place, was for youth
music education. And look what youguys have done. Yeah, you know,
at the very least, I thinkit's a memorable moment for the kids.
But I was saying to them inthe studio, how cool would it
be to one or more of them? You know, makes it big time
(41:35):
in the next you know, fiveten years or something. That's going to
be the story of their life. You know. I played on this track
with so and so. Look here'sthe video. You know, it's so
killer. Hopefully they're the ones thatmake it tip so right. Well,
listen, there's so much talent righthere in Central Pa, and that's why
we love to showcase it on theLocal Show every single Sunday night at eight
o'clock. This episode will be uploadedonto the podcast channel on Monday morning.
(41:55):
