Show on the River nineteen seventy three. What's what's Nathan's deal? Man?
Nathan is a great guy. Ifthere's anybody out there you know this kid,
somebody needs to sign this kid forsure. He has been a multiple
CPMA winner for Best Male Country Artist. I actually had the pleasure of filling
in for him, uh or fillingin for his band rather playing drums for

(13:48):
the whole band. Now, Iplayed drums with Nathan on one show.
So after this guy has won multiplecpmas for Country Artist, after you know
he asked me to play drums withhim for a show, figured out that
he is actually a distant cousin ofmine, and I'm related to Nathan Mirivitch,

(14:09):
and now it's nepotism exactly. SoI had to preface that by saying
it was after all those other things. But great, what a good dude.
Very cool. Yeah, a goodsong too. We would take a
quick break and come back with JulianAndrews, Copper and Cash, and then

listening to the local show with aCentral PA Music Hall of Fame on the

(18:00):
River ninety seven three. The firsttime in your life you can honestly say
you're out on your own in thisbig old world, spinning, spinning.
Sometimes the one door closes, anotherone open, showing the way you go

(18:26):
every day, The new beginning tolive in and go like you're wearing grand
new shoes and saying, even ifyou can't hear it down and love.
Look, it's the first day onlove and you just can't get in love

(18:51):
Love and love love ain't no dressfor her soul. The practice run.
You only got one shot, sowake up and start dreaming, believing there's
a strength inside of you. Theworld can't stop. So give it all

(19:12):
you've got, and where you boy, boy like you're wearing brand new shoes
and say, even if you can'tcarry it down and loves the buds now

(19:33):
love and you just can't get iton, don't say in this side.
You only give one chance, Sosee and love like you're wearing brand new

(20:07):
shoes and so even if you cancarry it down and live, it's the
first day or and you just can'tget in love, dance them and love.

(20:49):
Copper and Cash that is dance, sing, live and love, and
before that, Julie Andrews would pictureperfect. This is the local show on
the River nineteen seventy three. Copperand Cash have won youth awards. That's
the cpmas that's right. They wonBest Youth Band this past year at our
Awards ceremony, the Central Pennsylvania MusicAwards. We had it at the Hershey

(21:10):
Theater there. Copper and Cash hasfrequented Nashville as well. It's two sisters
and their father. Kind of afamily band, kind of style. So
check them out online. It soundsgreat too. Now we've got our Central
Pennsylvania Music Hall of Famers, thebad Las. We're going to feature something
off the River Songs album They areComing Home. We just announced that The
River representing the bad leads at XLlive on Thanksgiving weekend where everybody's back home

(21:36):
for the holidays. It's on Saturday, November twenty five. You can grab
tickets a ticket Master. But they'vehad quite a year and a lot of
it's due to you know, thewhole reason that the original five are back
together is because of their induction intothe Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame a
few years ago. Yeah. Idon't like to take too much credit for
it, you know I should. Those guys have had, you know,
decades of experience and success before then. But sometimes it just takes a sparker,

(22:02):
a catalyst to reunite some talent andthey're they're back at it and doing
great. You mentioned River Songs.I think it's a it's a good tidbit
of information too. I learned theyrecorded that album, the River Songs album,
at the Green Room Studios, whichactually we just played Julian Andrews.
Their Picture Perfect was recorded with shoutout to my buddy Derek Houston at green
Room. Nice and Uh. TheirRiver Songs album titled that because they're from

(22:27):
Sealing's Grove area and when they woulddrive down fifteen they'd be right along the
Susquehanna there to make it to theGreen Room to record the album. So
that's hence the title River Songs becausethey constantly made that trip along the river
there. And I was talking toPete and he said, you know,
one of the things they wondered aboutwhen they got back together and decided they

(22:47):
were going to reunite the original fivemake new music together and play some shows,
wondered if anybody even cared. It'sbeen pretty fun, you know,
like when we first started doing thisagain, you know, there was kind
of you know, a big questionmark is is everybody going to care?
And you know, we we founda renewed sense of Sat Saxon joining us
making music and paking records with eachother. So it's nice to go out

(23:11):
and play this in front of people. And so far, you know you're
gonna have to sell out almost everyshow, which is great, you know,
just I think the shows that we'vebeen playing are probably the best of
our career, agreed, certainly musicallyand you know, on the fulfillment level.
So it's nice to share that withpeople. I can, I can
absolutely back that up. You've allreally matured as artists. I think the

(23:32):
time the original five were apart andnot making music altogether, did you guys
good? And you guys have comeback together even stronger, and we cannot
wait for the show at XL Liveon November twenty five. Yeah, it's
gonna be great. It's like it'sgoing to be a big, big weekend.
Everybody's song for the hot so wefigure let's go acistic fundat XCEL Live.

(23:52):
It'd be great to talk to you, and I can't wait to see
the badly Thanksgiving weekend. If notsooner, thanks so much going. We're
