who has time for all that meal prep when I'm
just surviving on camping, caffeine and chaos, right, Or I
want to be in love again, but let's be honest,
I'm not even sure I trust human beings people, especially men, anymore.

Grab a drink, some coffee, leftover granola bar from the kids,
and whatever you're working with today. First, what is temporal disconnect?
It's that weird brain trap when your future feels so
far away or really so unclear that your presence self
can't get motivated. It's really hard to invest in a

future that we can't see. Right. It's like trying to
save for retirement when your cars aren empty, your rent slate,
and your kid just outgrow all their clothes overnight. Future you,
that girl sometimes feels fictional.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
It's like an AI avatar.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
With perfect abs, a trust fund, and a fully supportive
co parent. Right, But here's the truth. You will become
someone tomorrow. You don't get to opt out of that.
So the only question is are you becoming her on
purpose or by default? The first thing I want you

to learn is about how do we visualize her? Because again,
how are we supposed to invest in the future that
we can't see. Let's talk health first. If you're stuck
in survival mode like most of us are as single
moms working late microwaving nuggets at nine pm, not just
for your kid but for you too, and you're not
thinking about.

Your future vitality.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
You're thinking will I even make it to bedtime without
screaming into my pillow? Been there, but temporal disconnect is
what keeps you in that loop. Because future you the
one with all energy in the world, confidence, lean muscle,
and no brain fog. She needs you to take care
of her today to get there right, and it doesn't

have to be massive. Just picture her, make her real.
Then ask what does she eat for breakfast? What time
does she go to bed? Would she work out today? Yes,
your brain needs that bridge to believe in the future.

It's not fantasy. You're creating believability. And if you need

able to fix this and put it in a routine
so it's not chaotic. Okay, So that's the health Let's
envision that future version of us and let's start acting

like her now.

Because that's how we get there.

Right. If I can do it with three kids and
for seven years, Zerorocoparent you can do it too. So next,
I want to talk about our wealth.

We went over our health. Let's go of our wealth.
Get a bottom line in place.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
This is where a temporal disconnector really jacks people up,
especially women. It did me, especially moms. You want to
feel secure, right, but you're scared to death to invest,
terrified to spend anything on yourself, and overwhelmed by the
ideal I have financial freedom, because freedom sounds expensive right
(06:57):
when you're broke. But here's the mindset. Shit, you don't
need a million dollars to feel safe. You need a
bottom line, a savings minimum, a checking account minimum, like
it never goes below this number. Have a plan to invest,
even if it's twenty bucks a month. Get your high
(07:20):
yield savings account going build that up once that's at
at least three to six months salary, then you start investing.
The future version of you does not need.

A yacht, right.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
She just needs to know she's not one flat tire
away from a meltdown. Been there too, so visualize her.
She's got kind of a cushion, She's got confidence. Because
of that cushion. She checks her bank account and doesn't panic.
Let's build her together. Again, if you're stuck in your

wealth side of your single motherhood and trying to figure
out a way to not rely on child support to
pay your needs because it's the most unreliable income ever
that always goes away, then let's get onto one on

a plan so that you're not fully reliant on that

you're doing to your future self. Temporal disconnect here with
relationship looks like I'm not dating until I lose twenty
pounds or I'll be ready for love when my kids
are grown. Girl, that's you ghosting your own future, And
that's you choosing victimhood of over being the hero of
your own story and the kind of mom your kids

brag about. Future you is waiting in a coffee shop
looking fabulous, sipping like I don't know, like fancy oatmelk clattes,
and you're still at home thinking you're not worthy. Here's
your reframe. Love doesn't show up when you're ready. It
shows up when you're open. So visualize the relationship.

That you do want.

Kindness, chemistry, respect, some laughter, and now ask yourself, how
would that woman in that relationship treat herself today?
Speaker 1 (10:39):
And go do it.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
That's how you get the future that you want. Let's
get you into alignment with that version of you, and
let's start now again.

I know I'm saying this a lot, but.

Don't stay stuck.

gets to do this. You get to close the gap
between who you are now and who you're becoming. And
it doesn't have to take a miracle. It just takes

a couple steps. It takes clarity, consistency, and courage and

that vision statement, or maybe we need to go back
to that vision statement, those of you who have taken

damn steps to get there instead of just staying stuck.

And it's scary, but we know it's the right thing
to do. So maybe there's something like that that's keeping
you stuck. Let's talk about it and let's get you

understand it's okay to do things scared by the way,
that's how we get to the next level.
