Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yo, what's happening to everybody? Here? We go too much
fantasy football. It's Brian and Brennan and here we are
ready for Week ten. Trade deadlines passed. Got a couple
of happy Colts fans here, I mean not necessarily a
lot of splash there for fantasy football purposes, but real football.
We got quite a few trades. How you doing today, man,
(00:36):
feeling saucy ceiling saucy, Yes, yes, as we should. Colts
trading two first round picks and eighty Mitchell to go
get Sauce Gardner to really, I mean solidify. Now we're
getting talks about having top five, top three best secondary
in the NFL. You know we're not gonna jump quite
on that train here, But just happy Colts fans.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
I'd be Colts fans. It was a lot to give up.
I still feel like it. The Jets like it's a
it's a win win trade to guess for both teams.
Like the Jets are like they got two first rounders
and they get you know, they added it like that
first is gonna be twenty twenty seven, which this year's
draft class is kind of looking a little grimacing. But
the twenty twenty seven classes wherely should be stockpiling for.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
At the same time this offseason we were saying, hey,
twenty twenty six, it's looking good. So you never know, folks,
These things are volatile. These are young kids out there.
They screw up all the time, so who knows what
we could actually be looking like. But yeah, Jeremiah Smith
is probably off the table for us at this point.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Probably, That's okay, that's okay. We shipped off eighty Mitchell.
We still have Michael Pittman, Alec Pearce is blossoming pretty
well here in year four, and Josh Downs. I still
think josh Allwens is my absolutely favorite receiver on our team.
Just gets out there. He's grateful the team. Maybe not
necessarily for your fantasy team, but it's a nice little
core we have.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, No, I agree completely, So I.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Guess ramifications of that trade in particular. Of course, the
Jets are looking at multiple picks here, but they're adding
Ady Mitchell and the I mean, the conversation we've had
all you know about the past catchers there in New York.
It's been Garrett Wilson, and like every now and then
we talked maybe Mason Taylor, could come into it. Do
you see a world where Ady Mitchell Ady Mitchell gives
you fantasy viable like weeks at all? Is this going
(02:19):
to be like a plug and play flex for like
bi weeks? How are you approaching it?
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I think you gotta wait and see. He's got to
learn a new playbook. He's got to go over there
and learn a new playbook. I would. I think he'll
be good. I think he needed a change of scenery.
I think with the Rams game and then him being
benched and then him, you know, being a no show
dress for one game as well. I think maybe in
a year we'll talk about him because I think he
(02:45):
is a good receiver. He has shown flashes that he
can be good, and I think he'll be a good
piece next to Garrett Wilson. It's just I don't think
it's this year, especially with Justin Fields at quarterback as well.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
That's the big thing. You know, Justin Fields is not good.
He's just good enough to make sure that Garrett Wilson
gets hit gets fed there. So yeah, I agree. You know,
we might have a few splashy plays. We might be
going into the next week talking about him on the
waiver wire. But I just don't want to trust anything
on the Jets outside of Garrett Wilson and Breeze Hall,
who got a new home right he was traded.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
No, Nope, the Chiefs offered a fourth round pick and
the Jets said no.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
As spie out of spite is what it felt like.
I mean the end of the day, the Chiefs probably
would have made out in that they would have gotten
the one year rental on Breeze and probably gotten a
third round pick back for him and the comp picks.
But I don't know. Just let him go, man. They
have both the running backs of the future. They have
Isaiah Davis, they have braylen Out and they took them
both last year. Why would you not.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Just you know, yeah, it doesn't make sense to me
for a lot of the teams that just to not offload.
I get it, you don't. You know, sometimes you don't
want to trade, just a trade, but like the Titans
and you know, not trading away Tony Pollard didn't make
sense to me. It's like the GM doesn't really owe
anything to Tony Pollard. He has like another year left
in his deal. You could have cleared cap gone and
(04:03):
go get the guys. You really want, same with like
Chuba Hubbard, like Regal Tattles the guy, Like now you're
just you know, maybe it's nice to have a nice backup.
They are five and four, so if he does go down,
they still feel like they have a competent backup now,
but like a nine million dollar backup still, like I
think teams could have, you know, teams that need a
running back could have used him to. I mean, this
(04:24):
also is good news for Omar and Hampton. I feel
like it's like he was, you know, being talked of,
like all they need to fill in a piece, and
you know, kamani Vi doll owners can rejoice for a
little bit until Hampton's back. So there is some wins
and losses here, but I think it's just mainly losses.
You were hoping for your running back to kind of
get upgraded into another place.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, I completely agree there. I guess. Really the only
noteworthy trades we do have for fantasy the Jags went
out and acquire Jacoby Myers from the ram or from
the Raiders, giving up a fourth and six round pick.
I think this a lot is alluding to just the
injuries in general. You know, Brian Thomas junior dealing with
that low, low grade ankle, and then you've got uh,
(05:06):
Travis Hunter hitting the ir this past week, so he
will have at least three more weeks before he can
come back. Report is I guess it's not season ending?
He should be back. I it's it's hard there. Like
I mean, Parker Washington was the new hotness going into
waiver wires last night until this trade went down. Diamie
Brown's probably gonna miss this week as well with a concussion.
(05:27):
So is Jacoby Myers somebody who are going to take
the shot on? Is it still Parker Washington? And if
you have Jacoby Myers, are you just trying to sell
him on hype before we ineviably find out what happens there?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I don't even know. Does Jacob Myers even have hype?
When did you get to Jacksonville? Like that's my real question.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I wouldn't say that necessarily he has hype, But everybody
gets excited when trades go down. There's always you know,
leagues and teams. What if? What if? What if I
traded for Marii Cooper last year after he was traded.
I traded for Jont Johnson after he was traded. Granted
was a dynasty. It was a strategic move as far
as clearing out pinch space, but it's I don't know.
(06:06):
We have to hope that something comes out of it.
You know, Liam Cohen is is proven he can make
stuff happen, but is te Lodge is holding back this team?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Let me ask you this, who gets more points for
us of your fantasy wise, Rashid chhi Heed going to
Seattle or Jacobi Myers and Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Rashid chi Head one hundred percent. Yeah, he's got the
good quurt.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
That's where I'm at with it. I actually think Rashi
chi Heat is going to be more viable than Jacoby Myers.
And it's just not because I don't think Jacoby Myers
is bad. It's just I think Brian Thomas is there,
Parker Washington, the slot that you know, Diamond Brown kind
of gets moved back a little bit. It's just he's
going to learn a new playbook. Because I was trying.
I look back and I'm like, he has no correlation
to Liam Cohen at all, Like there's nothing where you know. Obviously,
(06:47):
playbooks can be complex and some instance, so I think
he'll know some things. But I don't like the snap count.
I don't know, maybe fifty percent sixty percent is what
I expect on the Sunday and then you know, gradually
increases over time. So I don't want to start to Kelby.
I still start Parker though.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah, Parker Washington really excited for this. Was the guy
we've kind of talked on a lot more on the
Betting Show, just because his prop's been just horrifically low.
He's crushed it so much. Speaking of which, I mean
as we go to Rashichi Heed. He was acquired by
Seattle from the Saints for a fourth and fifth round pick.
Rashid Chiheed the only player in the NFL this year
that has hit his over in receiving yards every single week.
(07:25):
I imagine that continues because his eight AUNT this year
is right around eleven. Previously last year with Clint Kubiak
his now OC his last year OTC with the Saints,
it was around seventeen eighteen yards. So I Sam Donald
also the best deep ball we have right now. He
is throwing the ball deeper than anybody else in the NFL.
(07:46):
So I think there is going to be quite a
bit to have here, whether or not at all falls
on Shaheed or it gets spread out across him. JSN
and Sam Donald.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
See this trade makes sense. She heat has similarity with
Clint Kubiak. He's gonna go right in and he knows
that system so he can play every single snap because
he knows that playbook through and through. So it's it's
automatically a win for Shaheed and it is a win
for Donald. Donald has another weapon. And Donald looked really
good against Commanders last night. You know, I was really
low in Seattle. I was just like, I don't know, man,
(08:16):
I just think this team's kind of lacking a little
bit lackluster. I think Sam Donald's kind of the middle
of a pack quarterback. But nope, he has been. I mean,
can we kind of talk about Sam Donald the MVP race.
He kind of deserves his flowers a little bit.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
God, Look, if we want to go put him on
with smack some odds on him, for sure, sportsbooks go
do that. But like it just it doesn't feel.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Really bro it sounds and I.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Don't know if it's just the worry of last year.
We did see him pumpkin at the end of the season.
If it's just Sam Donald and we've spent his entire
career talking about how bad he is or just it's
just not the sexy play and maybe I just need
to fade away from that a bit.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
I just think, you know, I think everyone needs to
get out of their mind the whole, like you know,
blowing it up at the end of the year for
the Vikings. He's on a different team. I like, dude,
head coach. The year might be going to Seattle too
as well.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yeah, he's definitely gonna be in that race. I definitely.
And last year, like he wasn't bad last year as
a ten win team, they just missed the playoffs exactly
w because of it, like ballsy choice to do that,
but you didn't get the results you wanted and you
went out there and made a difference. You didn't say, well,
we were close, let's run it back. No, that's the
Zach Taylor mindset. That's the We've only given up a
(09:34):
thousand yards of the last few games. My DC will
get it together, they'll give it. Ownership's dumb. They kept
Morvan Lewis for two decades. They'll keep me for another
decade for sure.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Moronic his contracts up, so now they can now he
cannot be retained, so they don't owe them money.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Hunter bucks that they resigned him hundred bucks they resign him.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
I'll take that bet.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, maybe not, but it's it's the Bengals, man. Why
would they not resign him, Why would they not do
the thing that we all don't want them to do.
But also they're cheaps. Of course they're going to write
out his entire deal as well other deals. It does
look like the I didn't see this. The Chargers traded
for Trevor Penning from the Saints got another O lineman.
(10:16):
Is he a good one? Not really, but it's is
he better than what they're working with right now? Definitely? Definitely.
They are devastating, devastated.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
He was a first round pick. He hasn't lived with
the first round potential. But man, it's so much better
than just a third string practice squad guy who just
came off the couch. So like, it's better than nothing,
you know. I'm really glad they're trying to do something
because I think Joe Alt's done for the year if
I'm not mistaken, because it's surgery correct.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Yeah. Yeah, they came out I think yesterday actually talking
about how it's season ending injury. So they are two
best offensive linemen. They're tackles, gone, I look next to
your buddies. But yeah, no, I do think this is
a lot better because I'm really sour on this this
offense in general right now. You know, there's a couple
of key pieces they're mentally talent to Herbert is you know,
(11:02):
top five only as far as quarterbacks go. So I
trusted some of it, but like com on I f
iel Is literally been every other week for him.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Kaman and Mydell's gonna be a start until we hear
some Hampton newses and until then, I just it's just
a really rough situation all around for the Chargers because
this team had, you know, aspirations of Super Bowl. Now
it's like, I think they'll get to the playoffs, man,
and once they face a really good front seven, I
think it'll be really tough sledting for them to try
(11:32):
to be competitive in that game because you're asking, you know,
third stringers to go against you know, potential Pro Bowl
and all pro you know, all pro players to keep
justin Herbert upright, which it.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Usually doesn't work out too well, usually not too well.
What else do we have here as far as news
Kyler Murray. Look, there's the joke of oh, it's a
foot injury, it's a soft benching. Four to eight weeks
is six state weeks. No coach came out and said
he's making the choice, So good on him. He's kind
(12:06):
of in the hot seat right now, so going out
there being bold, not playing scared. I can appreciate it,
But that's a call. They've got a lot of money
tied up in Kyler, Like this would be Russell Wilson
levels of dead cap if they move on from him.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
The vibes are high with Jacoby on the team. You
can see it. The defense played really great against the Cowboys.
Marvin Harrison looks like the first, like the first wide
receiver off the board, like he should have been. Trey
McBride had a great game. The run games, you know,
move in to score touchdowns. And then when I see
the stat of Kyler, Kyler Murray's never had back to
(12:42):
back three hundred yard passing games with two touchdowns. Last
time that was it was Jacoby who's done now, and
then Carson Palmer in twenty fifteen. It's like, I get it.
Kyler Murray has never It's like Kyler Murray has, you know,
his legs as a part of his weaponry. I'm saying
right now, Kyler's gonna get moved in this off and
he's gonna go somewhere. He's in a flourish I think.
I just think these it's a it's a bad relationship
(13:04):
right now and it just needs to be. They need
to separate and the need to go their own ways.
I don't know how it's gonna work with the cab
space though. That's gonna be interesting because it's a lot.
It's probably a huge dead cap.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yeah, I don't remember off the top of my head,
but there was a few people posting that around yesterday.
And it's not gonna be great. But at the same time,
we've seen teams move. Denver moved through it magically the
way that they dumped all that cap and repaired it.
And you know, they drafted well, drafted high, got a
bunch of young players that they're not having to pay
right now, Marvin Harrison. They still know them to pay
(13:36):
them for a few more years, so they could make
the move. And I do agree. I think Kyler Murray
is still a top twenty quarterback in the league. Like
I would still much rather have him than a lot
of the other guys that are starting right now. I
haven't been in love with the offense since the defensive
minded coach came in to take over this team. So yeah,
a change of scenery could do them well. Yeah, the Saints.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
I think that, man. Yeah, I think the Saints actually
can do well with him there. It's like a Mickey
if Mickey Loomis still has a job, it just seems
like a Mickey Loomis move maybe.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Like though, and if the Cardinals are eating a majority
of his contract, that would help a lot of their
cap situation exactly because you know, they just paid out
a full guaranteed contract to shut I mean everybody did
for second rounders. But again, it's just more money. The
Saints have side.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Up, Yeah, exactly, dumbasses.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Bucky Irving. Right before we hit record on this, we
got news that he's still hurt, not practicing on Wednesday.
It's not great coming out of a bye week, like
he hasn't been announced out, but I'm I'm planning on
him being out this week because of it.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, if we don't see like a limited Thursday and
full Friday, I'm fully expecting Rashad White to be the
starter and then maybe we play this game next week
of Bucky practice on Wednesday. Please thing's crossed.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Oh boy, this one hurts. This one cut people deep.
And right after we spent all last Wednesday, you know,
propping them up talking about him, Tuck a craft Man
goes down with an ACL injury, out for at least
then you know, the whole season. He's out for the season.
This one, Uh, it's one hurt.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, that hurt because, like it was, the news after
was it doesn't look good, but it's not ACL tear,
and then hours later it's a CL tear and then
they confirmed it Monday. I was just like, because like
I could tirecraft for someone I was talking about is
like a really like that back end tight end and
just like I think he could be the number one
option he was Now it kind of changed up the
(15:41):
Packers offense, like because before we were talking, Michael Michael
Mayer was in you know, targets. You know, David Nijoku
was talked about going to the Packers. Packers decided to
stay put and just roll with his team, which I
think when you make a trade for Micah, like I
think that team should you should kind of keep pushing
all in like the division's tough. The NFC, I feel like,
(16:03):
is still kind of wide open, Like there's no real
definitive answer out of me. For the NFC, you can
pick and choose a couple of teams, So kind of
surprise they stayed put, but we can talk about the
fantasy options. I do think they can start running the
ball with Josh Jacobs more. I think that that's my
solution to this, is that he should be getting at
least twenty touches a game.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
That's where they've got to hope he's worked his way
through that calf injury, because he has been hampered a
bit by that. Over the last few weeks after Tucker
Craft went down, the target share was twenty one percent
to Romeo Dobbs, fifteen point eight to Luke Musgrave, fifteen
point eight to Christian Watson. Savian Williams came in at
ten and a half and Josh Shacobs at ten and
a half, So still the same recipe, still the same recipe.
(16:41):
There is nobody there. Luke Musgrave I actually came out
in the same draft class as Tucker Craft. He was
drafted to believe two rounds on or maybe it was
a second.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
It was a second for Luke and fourth for Tucker.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Okay, there, yeah, there you go, So two rounds ahead.
Similar to what we saw in Baltimore back in the
day with the Mark Andrews. He went in the third.
They took the guy in the first as well. Mark
Andrew's really blossom. But Tucker Craft and Musgrave for the
first couple of years, a lot of injuries, a lot
of I thought Luke Musgrave was gonna be the guy
for a while. He was a stud and he got hurting.
Craft came in and truly proved how much better he is.
(17:12):
But I think Luke Musgrave is a great seventy five
percent Tucker Craft.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Let me ask you this, Luke Musgrave or Coulson Loveland,
Luke Musgrave.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Really yeah, Luke Colston Loveland, Like he was a stream
for me this past week and it looked good. But
he's also playing the Bengals. Everybody looks good against the Bengals.
You take away that last flute play, like he had
a great game up until that point, but he had
the cherry on top. Was again that busted play for
the second touchdown of his game. I think it's this,
(17:43):
He's in the same situation though he's one of two
tight ends that could catch the ball. There are four
wide receivers that are annoyingly taking off the heads of
each other. There's a couple of running backs that they
like to run the ball in Chicago's So I think
it's just I mean, we also just made the argument
for green Bay. It's spread around, but it's more consistent.
I guess Colson Lovelin may have spikes of over twenty percent,
(18:04):
and then he may be down there in ten percent.
So I think Colson Loveland or I'm sorry Musgrave, feels
safer for me. Are you on the Loveland side?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
I think if I'm like, these are webwire pickups, I'm
shooting for the stars here. So how'd other go Loveland?
Just because I've seen it and I haven't seen Musgrave
do what Loveland has done in the game, I would say,
what about is Harold Fannin or Luke Musgrave.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Think Harold Fannin. I think it's gonna be Harold Fannin
for me. Hell, I mean, there were rumors that Najoku
could have been traded to the Packers as well as
Michael Mayer. But god, if that would have happened, oh
my goodness, fannin you know, just absolutely wheels up. Nobody
would be standing in his way. Right now, he's number
two in a target share on that team. He's only
two targets behind the number one guy and Jerry Judy.
(18:48):
So yeah, I do really like Fann and the rest
of season. But overall, folks, streaming tight ends has been
dup this season. One hundred and twenty nine touchdowns have
been scored up until this point, most since any season
since twenty fourteen. Last year, at this point they only
had eighty touchdowns. Yeah, huge bump. Forty nine touchdowns have
been scored over that there are what is it, six
(19:10):
hundred and sixty seven yards more have been scored by
tight ends over last year. And then the target share
twenty two point eight percent target share going to tight
ends this year. It's the highest highest number since in
the two thousand. So I love having Warren, I love
having some of these stud guys, but honestly, you can
stream your way to a tight end seven tighten eight
rest of season, so I think it can be done
(19:32):
without the stud. If you lose Tucker Kraft so don't
sell the farm to go find yourself. So starting tight end,
I guess that is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
No, I agree with that.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Nice last thing we have here, Jaydon Daniels. Look, we
saw that what was that photo last offseason with that
weird little thing on his elbow. I'm hoping maybe that's
all this was, because I watched the video and I
was like, oh man, he's probably gonna lose his arm,
Like that's bad. But rumor is he could be back
this season. It's gonna be a while, but it's his.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Non arms, so that's also important. It's four to six
weeks for a dissicated elbow because there was no ligament, like,
there's no serious ligament tears. From my understanding, I think
it was, like I told you before the show recorded,
it's if the Commanders are somehow in that push of
like they're on the fritz of making the playoffs. I
think it comes back. But let's just say they in
(20:21):
four games, they're one in three. Now they're what four
and nine or eight? What? I don't think that'd be
their record if I'm not mistaken. Six right now, So
you had to be yeah, four four nine, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
I think gets done in the NFC this year, You're
now have.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
A losing record. What is genuine the point of bringing
him back. You're risking, re risking, you know, re injuring it,
and that I just I'm I have a hard time
seeing Jaden come back. You stash him in the IR
That's about it.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
And just hope. I was pretty annoyed he was out
there in the fourth quarter getting beat that bad anyway
coming off of an injury. But hindsight twenty twenty something
about all that. So Dan Daniels looks like it's kind
of been a lost season for him. We've had some
good showings from him, but like the injuries have just
stacked up and it was a bad pick at this point.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yeah, it's one of those where it's like it's a
it's a bad pick because of injury, not because of
a bus Like there's been guys. I think, well, at
the end of the year, we'll have our categories a
bus because of injuries and bust because of just being bad.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, this was a process over results was still there,
but this was definitely a lost pick and it happens
one hundred the league neighbors was not a bad pick,
but it was a bad pick because you don't have
one your team right now towards a yeah, I'm sure.
Could you imagine what that guy would be doing with
Jackson Dart at the helm right now?
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Oh my gosh, it like I'm excited for League Neighbors
next year.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
I yeah, totally. I can't wait to see what they
put around that team. Bolster the offensive line, I hope
the defense it's not too shabby. There are just a
couple of pieces away, I feel like on defense.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
And they didn't give up a first round pick to
get Jackson Dart to get back in the first round.
Smart move by the Giants. Falcons should have taken some notes.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Yeah, Jags might have two Jags might have taken some
notes on that one as well. I believe right now,
if the season ended today, Jaggs would be picking at
the number twelve overall. I'm sorry, the Rams would be
picking at twelve overall because that's who they gave their
pickup to.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
No, I think that's Falcons swapped.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Falcons would be picking at twelve, I mean the Rams.
So yeah, yeah, there's definitely some rooting interests across across
division lines. You aready talking about this Thursday night game.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Let's do it, folks. It's gonna be an exciting one,
maybe two and six Raiders going to Denver playing the
seven and two Bronc Are they the most phony seven
and two team you've seen in a while? Because I
could not believe when I read that the Broncos are
seven to two.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
You can say the same with the Colts. Really wanted
to as well, But that's what we're talking about, true,
Like when you look at the top of the AFC Division,
it's the Colt, the Patriots, and Broncos. Like that's not
what anybody predicted at all beginning of the year, Like
no one's it was gonna be the Ravens, Chiefs and Bills.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Like, didn't I have the Colts as my my division winners?
Inner predictions? You must? I want to say I did,
just because I was like, hey, this division is a
shot in the dark. But I think my reason backing
that was Anthony Richardson grew So you know, maybe it's
a lost cause here, but yeah, seven to two Broncos,
it just doesn't feel seven to two. They feel you know,
(23:29):
six and three, five and fourish to me, But yeah,
they are favored by nine points in this game forty
two and a half point over under. So it's set
up for a Thursday night game, which which pieces you
excited for in this one?
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Brock Bowers, Like I'm being genuinely honest, Like, brock Bowers
is like the most I'm excited for in this game
because it's like, let's talk about the Broncos side, right,
Like Boon Nicks, he has been a top ten quarterback.
It's been you know, like this week, it was looking
really doom and gloom until the very end of the
fourth quarter where he ran a bunch and then through
(24:05):
for the RJ. Harvey touchdown. But he gets it like
it so it's been for him for the past couple
of weeks. I don't know if I want to start
him for this night. I have him in a couple
of leagues. I'm just like, I kind of want to
pivot away because it's a divisional game and anything can
happened on Thursday Night. We've seen it happen already this year,
where the Bengals beat the Steelers, the Giants beat the Eagles.
(24:28):
Like it's just that's how the NFL is. And I'm
not saying the Raiders will beat the Broncos. But I
definitely think this game could be an ugly game because
it's divisional and that's just how it always works.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
So would you call me crazy if I told you
we got in my top seven right now?
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Oh? Bo Nicks, Yeah, I don't think it's crazy. He's
played like a top seven quarterback just because it's how
it's worked out for him. It's just I'm scared. It's
Thursday night and it just sucks because if you see
him lay a stinker and not even it's like him
being bad, but like Jaki Dobbins goes off for a
hundred yards and a touchdown and RJ. Harvey gets a
sixty yard run for it time, it's like they don't
really need Bonis to throw the ball.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yeah, or if you know, if they can't get pressure
on him too, this is one of the best offensive
lines in football. They can't get pssure on him. It's
not going to force him out of the pocket to run.
And that's kind of why he gets ranked I think
as high as he does each and every week because
he does give you that a safer floor than an
Aaron Rodgers. Would you know you need an ideal game
for Aaron Rodgers to go off. You need an ideal
game for Jared Goff to go off. BONICKX you know
he can bullshit his way all the way through there.
(25:25):
So I have him way higher than I want. But
that's just kind of how it shits right now. I mean,
what about his number one wide receiver, Troy Franklin.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I'm hurting there. That's where it sucks. Man. It''s like
Cartland Sutton last week that he won reception thirty five
yards in a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Now, oh no, I was talking about his number one
wide receiver, Troy fran Shit app are you talking about?
There's target shares of twenty percent twenty seven point six
twenty seven point six percent over the last three weeks.
He has also out targeted Sutton and thirty two to
twenty five over the last four games.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Are you telling everyone to go trade Sutton for Franklin
right now?
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Absolutely not. I'm just saying, like, this is what we're
dealing with here. I feel like we talked about Sutton
being a decent low floor or high floor kind of
a guy wide receiver. Two. It hadn't been that this year,
and this is important to I don't think Bonix has
been playing as well as he did last year. But
like in this game, I'm willing to play Sutton, I'm
not willing to play Franklin like gross twenty seven yards,
(26:24):
eighty nine yards, nineteen yards, nineteen yards, thirty five yards.
It just happened and he got three touchdowns in two
of the last three games.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, it's I think I'll make this very clear for
my side, for the Broncos, it's Bonix is fine for
a start. I think I'm just maybe it's just like
an inkling I have where it could just be a
bad game in the sense of this run games. It
goes off and that's where it is, or the Raiders somehow,
you know, wake up. But Bonix is fine. JK. Dobbins
is fine. RJ. Harvey is a flex. I don't hate it.
(26:54):
He's starting to improve a little bit. Courland Sutton and
That's where I'm at. That's where I'm at with the
Broncos team. R J.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Harvey or either of the Seattle running backs.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Ken Walker, I'd say ken Walker before r J. Harvey.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Can we take a half a second to talk about
how sharbon A didn't steal the fucking touchdown. AJ freaking
Barner was the one that vultured the touchdown at the
like that. Oh, I was irate. I even had a J.
Barner in my streaming articles like I couldn't be too bad,
but what is this? Click could trade them? The oh
(27:30):
God can't now? But like I'm good, I'm good. R
J Harvey over Bill.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yes, Bill's been bad Bill. It's he's he's been the
everyone was, you know, the preseason hype. Darling has been
a dad. Kamara dude kamaras So I was thinking maybe
I Shuck could be better. It's not. It's man, he
really hurt the saying so bad clatta comment I'll trade
(28:00):
him at thirty. Yeah, no, it's hardy for me. It's
I've I would ask you this, Can you cut Kamara.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
In ten team leagues? I'm one hundred percent behind.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah, that's where I guess there. I'm att like, because
you can't do it in twelve they'll be picked up
at all.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Most likely you don't have the running back to do
it in a twelve team league, but certain situations I'd
be okay with it.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Like who's more valuable right now, Isaiah Davis or Alvin Kamara.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
I think, man, oh my god, Kamara the season RB
sixty five, thirty five, forty sixteen, twenty nine, thirty one,
thirty seven, twenty one, eighteen. He hasn't broken thirteen points
this season. He's hit thirteen on the dot once. That's it.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, it's scary.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
I say, Davis seems a little much just because it's
the Jets. Yeah, the right matchups, I could probably I
could see myself ranking them above it. Right now. I
have Kamara at RB thirty and that's just because we
got some Bie Weeks right now.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Fair enough? Yeah, what was that?
Speaker 1 (29:09):
What do he marks? Or Kamara?
Speaker 2 (29:13):
What a he marks?
Speaker 1 (29:14):
So gross?
Speaker 2 (29:15):
So gross?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
That other side? What are we looking at?
Speaker 2 (29:20):
No on Gino Ashton, gent Brock Bowers.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
End of list.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Trey Tucker for a hope and a dream. If you're
being cute, like it's where that's where it really is.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
At with me. If injuries and Bie Weeks have you've
stacked against it. I could see Trey Tucker. He is
out there every single play, and he was before this trade,
and he's going to remain that way. I think Jack
Besh is going to be eating into it a little bit.
Tyler Lockett unfortunately showed up and like they have him
out there, so like what does that say? Weird?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
What a weird thing for Tyler? Lockety? Ask it cut?
And then it's like I went from a one in
eighteen to go to a two and sixty.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
I went from a shitty team in the East or
a shitty team in the West. Like that's all you did.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
I guess being in Vegas is better than being in Nashville.
I don't. I don't like.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
That dry heat. Give me national at least it's pretty.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I don't even know, man, that's just such a weird
thing to add. Like I thought he'd go to like
the Bills or you know, something where anything to where
I think he'd go get a ring, like you know,
it's your last kind of push here.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
He does have a ring though, so or at least
just not continue to rack up losses like was it
was the market just not there for him? Or was
this just I want to go back to my own coach.
I want to go back to Gino. You know some
familiar faces.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
But either way, Jack best a name to know a
name to it. Keep an eye out there. Matt Harmon
from Reception perception has kind of checked out his routes
over the last few weeks. He's given him the thumbs up.
It's looked good. It's just how much opportunity does he get.
And Gina looked good last week. Gina looked better with
all of the pieces there. He did look as a
you know, a starting quarterback in the NFL. Does that continue?
(31:00):
This is one of the best defenses they get after
the quarterback here in Denver. So I again went out
Thursday out, Thursday out nice. Yeah, brock Bowers, Evan Ingram,
where's we're done with that? Yeah? Bustding it his target
share too. It's just annoying enough to be like, can
(31:22):
I consider it?
Speaker 2 (31:23):
But no, he was a my guy for me, and
I'm telling you now I'm out thirty one.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
I think the seasons or I think the career is
over there Evan, It's okay, We've got an opening on
the podcast next year. So Evan, give me a call, buddy.
We got you nice who wins it?
Speaker 2 (31:42):
The Broncos?
Speaker 1 (31:42):
But I think the Raiders cover nine points. It's actually
gone down from nine and a half to nine. So yeah,
clearly Jacoby Myers was getting in their way and that
was enough to move it down a half a point.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah, I just I think my prediction for this game,
I will say Sutton leads the team in receptions. I'm
gonna I think this is one's been so down on
him and leads the team in receptions and it could
be three. But guess what, it's all right, that could be.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
The bad part. Oh man. Yeah, I got reamed a
little bit for trying to bring up there's Troy Franklin
stats on another podcast. He's like, really trying to victory
up four catches for twenty seven yards, like but ten
targets and he's like, no, don't even Yeah, exactly, Yeah,
I think they cover. They looked a lot better this
past week. Raiders are three and five against the spread
(32:34):
and then Broncos for four and five. So I'll bet
it off on.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
This one, exactly. Coin flip.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Absolutely, Folks, come back tomorrow and we'll be talking about
all of the remaining starts and sit questions. Will be
going game by game, starting in Germany and ending in
Green Bay on Monday night. Betting episode crushed it again
this past week, so make sure you catch that there
early Saturday morning. Brydone else you got for the people.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
I've got nothing else man, But I would say this,
there's a lot of trade deadlines for a lot of
leagues are usually this week. I'm not mistaken for most standards.
Like that's like if you don't fix it, it's usually
this week. If you got guys and I are like
Hampton and you're like holding on for playout, trade them.
Go you. It might be a loss of a trade,
but go trade them. You need to. You need to
start buckling on these moves because like guys like Hampton
(33:24):
or it's supposed to be back, like even Bucky. I
would trade Bucky right now, Like, just go get something
that's gonna be viable to start.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Yeah, condensing your line up your leagues too, especially if
you're three leg three losses are less. Start condensing those players.
Like if you have Wandil Robinson on your bench, you
have Romeo Dobbs on your bench, you have Ted Johnson
on your bench, You're probably not playing those guys. They're
probably just depth for you. And at this point in
the season, I'd much rather have my next week's defense
(33:52):
have four or five running backs on there that could
be fill in as soon as somebody gets hurt. Like these,
these wide receiver fours and fives. They are used to
list in ninety percent of leagues in situations going forward
at this point. So yeah, I'm bailing out of that
trying to condense some two for one trades. If you
make it happen. Yeah, I'm right there with you, folks.
That is going to wrap it up. We can't thank
(34:12):
y'all enough for coming back, listening, liking, subscribing, all doing
all those fun things there looking for more of me.
It's at too much underscore Brian on Twitter, all my
stuff run up through my feed and then him if
you want to look for this guy over here, all
this great stuff is at too much bemulk come back tomorrow.
As I said, we've got the start set episode for
the rest of the week. Thanks for listening. Thanks, We'll
see y'all later.
