to everybody? We're back with another episode of too Much
Fantasy Football. This is Walking the Wire, our Waiver Wire
weekly show, every single week, three o'clock Eastern, Vernon. How
are we doing?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I'm doing pretty good? You know. In my main league
last night, I needed thirty four points from Jalen Hurts
and Josh Jacobs and I would have had it had
both of them not fumbled.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
They literally dropped the ball, literally dropped the ball for
your team.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I lost by three and I would have one by one. Thembled.
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, I went a bit at halftime. I had to
finish the game watching it this morning because zero to zero.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Actually, you should have watched second half instead of first half.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I feel like that's where I got screwed. Actually, honestly,
it kept me from staying up any later because that
was just horrendous. Ten to seven. Love that. Love that
Devanta Smith has outscored a j Brown all but what
was that three games? Two games this season.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I just think they're going to hold on to him
this year and then they'll delegate it next season to
see if he gets moved or whatever the case.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Maybe I just think it's a tough hold right now
and it's a tough beat just to watch. I mean,
how can you not get him more involved? Three targets,
two receptions, thirteen yards Davanta Smith. We had four catches
on seven attempts sixty nine yards and a touchdown Dallas
Gonnard didn't get a touchdown. Really surprised by that one.

Really surprised by that one. Yeah, I'm very curious because
like we I think Eagles fans all know the answer
to what the issue is. It's Kevin Batulo and then
it's also Nick siriannecause Nick Yer and it doesn't know how to,
you know, call plays, so he relies on friends to
call plays and he can't call plays.

Brian Dabell, he's free, he's available, might be somebody to
look at.

And I think they are really hoping McDaniels gets fired.
That's what they're probably like just like praying for I
bet I bet Dable's like a it's not a bad
play call because like he made, he had Josh Allen
function well, and so I think him and Jillen hurts
josh An not saying like they're the same quarterback, but
like same style of play for sure.

It's tough because it's like it's the waiver wire week,
so like it's I'm trying to think running back like Rodriguez,
but I'm sure he was already picked up before. He's
like the only one that I'm like really hammering home.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
So Alex, hey, guys, this is my team for week eleven.
What do you think we got Drake May, Woody Judkins, JSN,
Jetta's McBride, Abuca and the bench. We've got Henderson, Montgomery,
Bucky Jennings, Wanda, all korm and Pierce.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You keep the wide receivers Jayson and jettas Trey McBride
obviously you don't touch. You don't have anything to back
that up. Drake, me keep as well. So Bucky's not
playing it sounds like unfortunately. Yeah, Henderson Henderson's Henderson's Thursday night,
so you know my role for that.

And we're still waiting on the news whether or not

Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter underwent season ending knee surgery.

But as far as the team, yeah, you very rookie heavy.
I love the the young talent on here. It's Woody
and Judkins. I mean, I guess the only swap I
think I would see would be Woody for Henderson Henderson.

My My rule is very simple, win it out Thursday
out unless it's like a stud, and I just don't
know if I have Henderson as a stud just yet.

Yeah, Ramandre Stevenson is definitely going to be a thorn
in his side the remainder of the season. Trying to
see if we have any updated news on it's on
a Tuesday. It's kind of rough, but overall, love the team.
I think it looks great. You've got the nice depth
pieces of love the quorum, Pierce Jennings, Bucky sitting there
waiting to go.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, they really teased us these fast the past few
weeks on this Travis Hunter stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Estimated as limited on Monday for yeah, dang, that stinks. Yeah,
I think you might have a pivot with Henderson and Wooding.
But just watch the news check out see Ramandre. As
of right now, it said he would be considered as
limited for Monday, but it's he's gonna be limited every Wednesday.
So it's rough out there. But love the team. I

several more years. It's stune man. Five games, three plus touchdowns.
It's been absolutely insane watching him play the season. Does
it continue? Does it continue? I guess is the big
question people want to know.

Well, they have the Chiefs after this week, they have
the Texans twice, the Jags twice, Seattle, San Francisco. It's
a he does have a gauntlet of a schedule mm hmm.

But like you're still gonna be playing him. You know,
you're not gonna not gonna shin away from a long
options you.

Have, Like if you have a better option to Jonathan Taylor,
I don't give a unicorn.

Nice coming off the BI week, not that he was
doing a whole hell of a lot this season. They're
playing the Texans this week, so Nico Collins day just
got a little bit easier.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, we have a we were talking about the Thursday
night game. Sorry I interrupt you, but are we what's
the timberature check on the Packers right now? Like I'm
talking Jordan love Laflor specifically because I think that those
those are the two hot seats right now.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I don't know. Honestly, it feels pretty good, I guess
from the sense of most teams give me this feeling
right now. Most teams are giving me they have fakeness
to them, like I don't. Don't. We don't have any
absolute studs going on in the season. I don't think
there's any team that I'm like, oh, absolutely, they're making
the union of the conference championship. All of them seem
like they've got cracks within it, and the Packers, man, Like,

I think we didn't be having the same conversation with
the Eagles had that game gone the other direction.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
You know, Yeah, I'm I don't think it's Laflor if
I had to pick one, Like, if I had to
pick which one is the problem, I don't know if
it's Laflor, Like I do think the like running on
a fourth down when you need the two yards was
kind of weird because like the Eagles are just kind
of sniffing that out a little bit. I feel like,

but like, I mean, you've you spent so much draft
cap on the defense and then you finally go first round.
It's Matthew Golden. He's not been what you expect to be.
You have Romeo Dobbs your wide receiver one, I mean,
or you can say Christian Watts, however, whatever makes you
feel better about yourself. But it's just I think this
team is they needed. They already made a trade for

Micah Parsons, so they really couldn't make another trade. They
should have traded with Jacob Myers. To be honest with you,
they that was a team that should have gone Kobe Myers.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, yeah, man, it's hyery Kill would have lookedret on
this team had he not gotten hurt, you know, if
he was available to trade deadline.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah, I just I really am very curious to see
how this team shapes up. But they did the right
thing last night. Feed Jacob was make Jacobs the focal
point of this offense going forward.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Which is interesting, Like how many more seasons does he
have that where you can actually lean on him to
be that much of the focal point of the offense.
I mean, they've tried not to with all these running
backs they have, but none of them seem to be
good or healthy behind.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Him point though, like he's on a cheap contract. You
you just you let those tires just go, like you
just let him go until there's nothing left for Tread.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
With him, man, I don't know. They're five to three
and one right now or were they five? Are they
only two? They're only two games skid because Carolina was
a week before. Yep, they're on a two game skid.
That's yeah. I mean, this is one of the biggest
issues yet. Placker's bye receiver group is just I agree.

I receiver three yeah, like like maybe two is like
j I think like Read's okay too. I think Dobbs
like on a good day, can be an okay too,
but like Watson, yeah, like again he's a deep threat,
like I think, I like, but who would you either
have Alec Pearce or Christian Watson.

Yeah, they're kind of interchangeable. Alec Pearce for me at
this point exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's just I think they I don't know, like who
the Packers do they pick ahead? I know they picked
I'm trying to think they picked ahead of the Buccaneers
for Buka, But I think that the Bucks got a
Buka first in the draft.

they picked Buka went at nineteen and Matthew Goldman won
at twenty three.

Mm hmm. Imagine a Buka on this team.

game changer that they would need. Like if they had that,
it would world difference. Jeez, that's crazy. Marion Hampton won
at twenty two, you got Golden won at twenty three.
Shamar Stewart went at seventeen. God, did you see there's

offensive players? I have more tackles than Shamore Stewart right now.
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, I have been very tie taking a project player
in the first two rounds, Like it's just they're not
Josh Allen's. They're not like these unicorns. They don't work
out very rarely.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
And even if they are, clearly Cincinnati doesn't have the
coaching staff to handle projects like that is just not
what they're gonna be taken care of.

Tough. What else is tough? Jackson dart Man going down
that one is tough just to see as far as
like fantasy, the amount of teams I've got Jackson dart
on right now, I am struggling Joe Burrow fingers crossed.
You know that's gonna be the pivot move.

Yeah. I don't think Joe Burrow is playing this week though,
right I think he has another week there they said
week thirteen.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Yeah, it's gonna be weeks. Yeah, it could be a
few more gross, I mean, obviously not immediate pivot. Joe
Flacco is coming off of the waiver or coming off
of a bye, so I've been second for the waiver
wire for him? What about Tua in this in this
uh this Spain Game Tour, Mariota, how do you feel
about them this week?

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I view kind of like a Thursday night game. I
feel like it's just it's gross, Like do you really
want us to Like, it's like who's in a buy
right now? It's it's the Saints and the Colts. So
Daniel Jones, I mean, if you've been riding that, that's great,
and then it's Tyler Shuck, so like you can't you
have to have better options than those two.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I feel like, I hope super Flex League. It's it's rough,
it's a I'm digging. It's like the two is the
Michael Pennix, the brycey Young is probably about to hit
the waiver wire. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
The Neil Hunter made everyone want to take those low
production but physical specimens that could develop a Yeah, I agree,
Jason Widem Tay guys, would you drop Mason Spears or
Pollard for Troy Franklin and a half point PPR paular
I don't either keep Hollered over Spears.

Honestly, Mason is just a handcuff at this point.

Yeah, I feel like Mason I genuinely thought Mason wanted
to get a lot more work, but Aaron Jones is
definitely if he's healthy, He's on the field more than
than Mason right now.

But honestly, like Troy Franklin, trying, like the usage or
I guess the opportunity is there, whether or not the
actual usage is each and every week it's hard. Like
he had what nine targets only forty seven yards I
think something like that. Yeah, it's a it's an interesting
situation with the whole Sutton Franklin situation.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, it makes me cry because I just thought Sudden
would be just be a solid wide receiver too, and
now he's just I don't even know what to do
with him.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah, the touchdowns just are not coming to him this year.
And it's I mean, Courtland Sutton's wide receiver. Sixteen on
the season. I wouldn't guess that.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
He's had like weeks where it's been like a tight
Like the week prior he had a thirty yard touchdown.
That was it, so like kind of saved his week,
but like last week was bad.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yeah, he's looking at five hundred ninety yards four touchdowns
on the season. I guess he's halfway there.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, he might have clipped one thousand, so he.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Had eight touchdowns last season. Troy Franklin's coming in watch
just over twenty two.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
If I had a big one Jason, I'm dropping Mason
by the way, that's my pick. And that sounds weird,
But if Aaron as if you bank on Aaron Jones,
I don't bank on injuries. But like Aaron Jones is healthy,
he's on the field.

Yeah, I don't hate it. It feels weird keeping two
Titans running backs. But oh that's a situation right there.
It's gross.

Do it as a Vikings fan, KOs he can't help

type of quarterback where he needs to not throw more
than twenty five times in a game. That's my stance
with him so far.

Some of those two picks, like I believe both guys

fell down, but I can't remember the first one. I
thought there was something funky with it. Like again, we've

you rather have?

Would go my flex people, I don't have Henderson. Zay
Flowers has been such a disappointment after Week one. He
has just been so buns.

And I'd rather have running back. You know, wide receivers.
You can find those all over the way for a
wire running back to a little harder something on.

That's what I thought, Yeah, wide receiver one. He had
that crazy week and then he's been bunned since. Yeah.

I was really hoping we're gonna get more usage.

Yeah, I can kind of say everyone was kind his
body thing would definitely seemed like he was over it
playing that game.

I do agree, which really season on the line. Man,
They're four and five and not in the ecast division.

Oh so you are trying to trade for a labbe Okay,
I have Derrick, Henry, Swift, Warren and Jones on my
bench and thinks of trading. Yeah, honestly, I would trade
for a lobby right now. He's on a bye that
the person probably needs it. I say, is this is
this is the time to buy guys who are on
a who are on a buy and that team needs

to win. It's this is actually perfect trade. I like.
I like doing these type of trades where you can
maybe sacrifice the loss, but you can gain a good
player out of it.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
The hard thing with Warren the last two weeks of
the playoffs, he has Detroit and Cleveland, but leading up
to it, it's the thirty second, twenty fourth, twenty six
and twenty second best matchup. She got five really good
games from him and then two questionable games from him
there in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
But you gotta make it end in Chicago. So two
good matchups. Buffalo, who's been pretty good against the run,
like besides last week and then Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Miam twenty eighth against the run, Baltimore's twenty six, Miami's
twenty second.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yeah, would you rather lose Warren or Jones? I rather
lose I'd rather lose Jones. Warren has just been steady
eddie for the Steelers. I feel like.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
I think I'd rather lose Joanes. He plays Detroit in
the championship green Bay in two weeks. Schedule's pretty equal,
oh Man. But Steelers' offense looks future. Man absolutely putrid.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
It does. It's scary because like, but I just feel
like because I saw Caleb Johnson touched the field last
week and I was like, Oh, are they gonna start
to use him? Nope, it didn't matter. Warren still is
on the field majority of the snaps.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
So yeah, the thing, I'm taking Warren here, But it's
it's pretty close. I don't think you can lose it.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
I just think you should get a lave depending on
who your wide receivers are rainy, like if you're if
you're hurting a wide receivers, a lave. I just feel
like it's like a solid piece to have, even though
brain doubts me.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Oh Man. He plays Atlanta, Miami, Tampa Bay, Carolina Jets,
and then Tennessee and the championship around.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Who's that the Steelers?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Uh in the Saints.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Oh, that's a nice matchup right there with us and
I have Gibbs Bucky and treated Deebo for Hampton weeks ago,
y'all think to come back from rather well, the Bucky
reporting was he has to put on pads first and
you know, be able to get tackled, and the head

coach that he's not there yet. It sounds like Hampton
is gonna come back after week twelve after their by
like that just sounds like it's sent in Stone. He's
out of a walking boot, which sounds great. So yeah,
you better hope he gets You're six and four. You
just you probably need to go one in one.

Yeah, to get to the playoffs, you probably need at
least two more wins. I don't would you pivot like
I'd like, would you rather have Bucky or Ring or
Rico Daudle rest of season, Rico DeAndre Swift or Bucky Irving.

Bucky. I'm hoping if Bucky comes Like if Bucky comes
back and he's like seventy percent of what he is
it's Bucky.

Would you rather have R. J. Harvey or Omarion Hampton
rest a season? With the news about JK. Dobbins might
be out for some time. I'll still say Hampton, things
are getting interesting. I'll say that much. Trey Benson or
Omarion Hampton. Oh, Marion Hampton, Come on, well, Tree Benson

might be back sooner.

He might. Yeah, with Collins and DK and Keenan who
have been killing me, So I think, yeah, I would
definitely make that trade. You have a lot of depth
at running back. You need to make a trade and
a full lobby is I like a lobby a lot.
I'm a lobby guy, so I like moving one of
your running backs for.

Him, except wide receiver corps is they're not helping you
right now unfortunately.

Yeah, it's burning you. Michael, Do I trade? I'll Jeer
and Parker Washington or Franklin for Stafford on my team.
J Daniels, Caleb Williams, Karen Williams, doubt All Brown, corn Woody,
Isaiah Davis, Aguca Pickens, Loveland Strange, and Mason Taylor.

He had I would trade Franklin over Parker Washington if
I did the trade, Did I.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
I yeah, I would. I would trade Franklin for sure
over Parking Washington, I would do. I would do Algier
and and and Franklin for Stafford. But you have Caleb Williams,
Like I know, a lobby is or not a lobby Sorry,
I know Stafford's doing it, but Williams is like not
far behind.

I feel like and Algier's probably gonna have some flexworthy
roles coming up. We saw Vulture two touchdowns this past game.
They've got some pretty juicy matchups and he's probably the
