Speaker 1 (00:07):
Ten weeks down, one no way more to go. It's
week eleven Waiver Wire. Here we go, Yo, what's happening

(00:29):
to everybody? We're back with another episode of too Much
Fantasy Football. This is Walking the Wire, our Waiver Wire
weekly show, every single week, three o'clock Eastern, Vernon. How
are we doing?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I'm doing pretty good? You know. In my main league
last night, I needed thirty four points from Jalen Hurts
and Josh Jacobs and I would have had it had
both of them not fumbled.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
They literally dropped the ball, literally dropped the ball for
your team.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I lost by three and I would have one by one. Thembled.
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, I went a bit at halftime. I had to
finish the game watching it this morning because zero to zero.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Actually, you should have watched second half instead of first half.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I feel like that's where I got screwed. Actually, honestly,
it kept me from staying up any later because that
was just horrendous. Ten to seven. Love that. Love that
Devanta Smith has outscored a j Brown all but what
was that three games? Two games this season.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I just think they're going to hold on to him
this year and then they'll delegate it next season to
see if he gets moved or whatever the case.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Maybe I just think it's a tough hold right now
and it's a tough beat just to watch. I mean,
how can you not get him more involved? Three targets,
two receptions, thirteen yards Davanta Smith. We had four catches
on seven attempts sixty nine yards and a touchdown Dallas
Gonnard didn't get a touchdown. Really surprised by that one.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Really surprised by that one. Yeah, I'm very curious because
like we I think Eagles fans all know the answer
to what the issue is. It's Kevin Batulo and then
it's also Nick siriannecause Nick Yer and it doesn't know how to,
you know, call plays, so he relies on friends to
call plays and he can't call plays.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Brian Dabell, he's free, he's available, might be somebody to
look at.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
And I think they are really hoping McDaniels gets fired.
That's what they're probably like just like praying for I
bet I bet Dable's like a it's not a bad
play call because like he made, he had Josh Allen
function well, and so I think him and Jillen hurts
josh An not saying like they're the same quarterback, but
like same style of play for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Chat Yes, folks, as you wanna throw stuff out there,
we're here ready to talk. We got waiver wire on
the mine. Of course, trade deadlines are coming into most leagues. Alex,
what's happening new year around earth? That's good, it's good,
glad you came to hang out. Like I said, it's
waiver wires, it's trade dead line, it's reaction. We'll talk
about anything really. Uh, the conversation skews all the time,

(03:04):
but yeah, hit us up with anything you've got on
your mind. We're ready to talk some for We're already
talk some some waiver wire. I guess going into this week,
do you have a favorite target that you were heading into.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
A favorite target?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yeah, because it's not the best waiver wire week.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
It's tough because it's like it's the waiver wire week,
so like it's I'm trying to think running back like Rodriguez,
but I'm sure he was already picked up before. He's
like the only one that I'm like really hammering home.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
So Alex, hey, guys, this is my team for week eleven.
What do you think we got Drake May, Woody Judkins, JSN,
Jetta's McBride, Abuca and the bench. We've got Henderson, Montgomery,
Bucky Jennings, Wanda, all korm and Pierce.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You keep the wide receivers Jayson and jettas Trey McBride
obviously you don't touch. You don't have anything to back
that up. Drake, me keep as well. So Bucky's not
playing it sounds like unfortunately. Yeah, Henderson Henderson's Henderson's Thursday night,
so you know my role for that.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
And we're still waiting on the news whether or not
breaking news. We got breaking.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter underwent season ending knee surgery.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
A C.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, I just said season ending knee surgery.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
So rough rough, rough one right there, that's blowing up.
I mean I already kind of came to terms with it,
like I yeah, I cut him from.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
In practice, like it just didn't sound good.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
But as far as the team, yeah, you very rookie heavy.
I love the the young talent on here. It's Woody
and Judkins. I mean, I guess the only swap I
think I would see would be Woody for Henderson Henderson.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Alec.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
My My rule is very simple, win it out Thursday
out unless it's like a stud, and I just don't
know if I have Henderson as a stud just yet.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, Ramandre Stevenson is definitely going to be a thorn
in his side the remainder of the season. Trying to
see if we have any updated news on it's on
a Tuesday. It's kind of rough, but overall, love the team.
I think it looks great. You've got the nice depth
pieces of love the quorum, Pierce Jennings, Bucky sitting there
waiting to go.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, they really teased us these fast the past few
weeks on this Travis Hunter stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Estimated as limited on Monday for yeah, dang, that stinks. Yeah,
I think you might have a pivot with Henderson and Wooding.
But just watch the news check out see Ramandre. As
of right now, it said he would be considered as
limited for Monday, but it's he's gonna be limited every Wednesday.
So it's rough out there. But love the team. I

(06:00):
love the team. Not bad. Uh, you're buying it, man,
you're buying it. You send it over, Send it over.
I haven't bought a cold jersey in a while because yeah,
every time I seem to buy one, they retire or left,
So it was it was pretty rough.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, I'm trying to think I have a Darius Lennard jersey.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yep, I have.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I do have an Anthony Erston jersey. Unfortunately right now
I did ask for Tyler Warren. I'm just like, all right,
there's nothing can go wrong with this one, right right.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
And then Jonathan Taylor, Yeah, we'll still have it for
several more years. It's stune man. Five games, three plus touchdowns.
It's been absolutely insane watching him play the season. Does
it continue? Does it continue? I guess is the big
question people want to know.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Well, they have the Chiefs after this week, they have
the Texans twice, the Jags twice, Seattle, San Francisco. It's
a he does have a gauntlet of a schedule mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
But like you're still gonna be playing him. You know,
you're not gonna not gonna shin away from a long
options you.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Have, Like if you have a better option to Jonathan Taylor,
I don't give a unicorn.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Probably third worst rest of the season schedule or No.
Thirtieth easiest is what I'm looking at here. I don't
know about that.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
You want random news from like a defensive player that
I just saw that we kind of no, uh, Texas
grand jury files to indict Titans cornerback lagerious need for
failure to report felony.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Nice coming off the BI week, not that he was
doing a whole hell of a lot this season. They're
playing the Texans this week, so Nico Collins day just
got a little bit easier.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, we have a we were talking about the Thursday
night game. Sorry I interrupt you, but are we what's
the timberature check on the Packers right now? Like I'm
talking Jordan love Laflor specifically because I think that those
those are the two hot seats right now.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I don't know. Honestly, it feels pretty good, I guess
from the sense of most teams give me this feeling
right now. Most teams are giving me they have fakeness
to them, like I don't. Don't. We don't have any
absolute studs going on in the season. I don't think
there's any team that I'm like, oh, absolutely, they're making
the union of the conference championship. All of them seem
like they've got cracks within it, and the Packers, man, Like,

(08:30):
I think we didn't be having the same conversation with
the Eagles had that game gone the other direction.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
You know, Yeah, I'm I don't think it's Laflor if
I had to pick one, Like, if I had to
pick which one is the problem, I don't know if
it's Laflor, Like I do think the like running on
a fourth down when you need the two yards was
kind of weird because like the Eagles are just kind
of sniffing that out a little bit. I feel like,

(08:55):
but like, I mean, you've you spent so much draft
cap on the defense and then you finally go first round.
It's Matthew Golden. He's not been what you expect to be.
You have Romeo Dobbs your wide receiver one, I mean,
or you can say Christian Watts, however, whatever makes you
feel better about yourself. But it's just I think this
team is they needed. They already made a trade for

(09:17):
Micah Parsons, so they really couldn't make another trade. They
should have traded with Jacob Myers. To be honest with you,
they that was a team that should have gone Kobe Myers.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, yeah, man, it's hyery Kill would have lookedret on
this team had he not gotten hurt, you know, if
he was available to trade deadline.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah, I just I really am very curious to see
how this team shapes up. But they did the right
thing last night. Feed Jacob was make Jacobs the focal
point of this offense going forward.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Which is interesting, Like how many more seasons does he
have that where you can actually lean on him to
be that much of the focal point of the offense.
I mean, they've tried not to with all these running
backs they have, but none of them seem to be
good or healthy behind.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Him point though, like he's on a cheap contract. You
you just you let those tires just go, like you
just let him go until there's nothing left for Tread.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
With him, man, I don't know. They're five to three
and one right now or were they five? Are they
only two? They're only two games skid because Carolina was
a week before. Yep, they're on a two game skid.
That's yeah. I mean, this is one of the biggest
issues yet. Placker's bye receiver group is just I agree.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
I receiver three yeah, like like maybe two is like
j I think like Read's okay too. I think Dobbs
like on a good day, can be an okay too,
but like Watson, yeah, like again he's a deep threat,
like I think, I like, but who would you either
have Alec Pearce or Christian Watson.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, they're kind of interchangeable. Alec Pearce for me at
this point exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's just I think they I don't know, like who
the Packers do they pick ahead? I know they picked
I'm trying to think they picked ahead of the Buccaneers
for Buka, But I think that the Bucks got a
Buka first in the draft.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I want to say the Packers did for some reason.
Let me check that out.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, because like if that's a Watson Watson, forget about that.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
But I agree, okay, come on, come on, uh yeah,
they picked Buka went at nineteen and Matthew Goldman won
at twenty three.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Mm hmm. Imagine a Buka on this team.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
This that would be that would be the uh the
game changer that they would need. Like if they had that,
it would world difference. Jeez, that's crazy. Marion Hampton won
at twenty two, you got Golden won at twenty three.
Shamar Stewart went at seventeen. God, did you see there's

(11:51):
offensive players? I have more tackles than Shamore Stewart right now.
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, I have been very tie taking a project player
in the first two rounds, Like it's just they're not
Josh Allen's. They're not like these unicorns. They don't work
out very rarely.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
And even if they are, clearly Cincinnati doesn't have the
coaching staff to handle projects like that is just not
what they're gonna be taken care of.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
No, Yeah, it's tough.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Tough. What else is tough? Jackson dart Man going down
that one is tough just to see as far as
like fantasy, the amount of teams I've got Jackson dart
on right now, I am struggling Joe Burrow fingers crossed.
You know that's gonna be the pivot move.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah. I don't think Joe Burrow is playing this week though,
right I think he has another week there they said
week thirteen.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Yeah, it's gonna be weeks. Yeah, it could be a
few more gross, I mean, obviously not immediate pivot. Joe
Flacco is coming off of the waiver or coming off
of a bye, so I've been second for the waiver
wire for him? What about Tua in this in this
uh this Spain Game Tour, Mariota, how do you feel
about them this week?

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I view kind of like a Thursday night game. I
feel like it's just it's gross, Like do you really
want us to Like, it's like who's in a buy
right now? It's it's the Saints and the Colts. So
Daniel Jones, I mean, if you've been riding that, that's great,
and then it's Tyler Shuck, so like you can't you
have to have better options than those two.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I feel like, I hope super Flex League. It's it's rough,
it's a I'm digging. It's like the two is the
Michael Pennix, the brycey Young is probably about to hit
the waiver wire. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
The Neil Hunter made everyone want to take those low
production but physical specimens that could develop a Yeah, I agree,
Jason Widem Tay guys, would you drop Mason Spears or
Pollard for Troy Franklin and a half point PPR paular
I don't either keep Hollered over Spears.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Honestly, Mason is just a handcuff at this point.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yeah, I feel like Mason I genuinely thought Mason wanted
to get a lot more work, but Aaron Jones is
definitely if he's healthy, He's on the field more than
than Mason right now.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
But honestly, like Troy Franklin, trying, like the usage or
I guess the opportunity is there, whether or not the
actual usage is each and every week it's hard. Like
he had what nine targets only forty seven yards I
think something like that. Yeah, it's a it's an interesting
situation with the whole Sutton Franklin situation.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, it makes me cry because I just thought Sudden
would be just be a solid wide receiver too, and
now he's just I don't even know what to do
with him.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah, the touchdowns just are not coming to him this year.
And it's I mean, Courtland Sutton's wide receiver. Sixteen on
the season. I wouldn't guess that.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
He's had like weeks where it's been like a tight
Like the week prior he had a thirty yard touchdown.
That was it, so like kind of saved his week,
but like last week was bad.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yeah, he's looking at five hundred ninety yards four touchdowns
on the season. I guess he's halfway there.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, he might have clipped one thousand, so he.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Had eight touchdowns last season. Troy Franklin's coming in watch
just over twenty two.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
If I had a big one Jason, I'm dropping Mason
by the way, that's my pick. And that sounds weird,
But if Aaron as if you bank on Aaron Jones,
I don't bank on injuries. But like Aaron Jones is healthy,
he's on the field.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Yeah, I don't hate it. It feels weird keeping two
Titans running backs. But oh that's a situation right there.
It's gross.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Do it as a Vikings fan, KOs he can't help
himself a pass, refuses to run on third and short
and don't take any rb under Kocan. Well, yeah, that
just means whatever, whatever. What's his persona number nine?

Speaker 1 (15:57):
That's yeah nine.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Yeah, there's just so many jokes with that man.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Yeah. The James McAvoy one from Split is probably my favorite.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Yeah. I it's tough to like when you say you
have this persona and like your best games, like when
you threw one hundred and four and three yards, Like
I just it's kind of tough to be like, yeah,
you're just like this like second person I don't even
know how to describe it. It's just weird.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
I'm I'm rooting for. I mean, obviously I'm rooting for.
I'm like, we want good quarterbacks in the league. We
want koc To too well there, but.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Yikes, what do you do if Naylor has another week?
Where's ahead of j Jetto's.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Take that nail and I stick it right here, right
in the temple Goodness, I'm about tired of that, absolutely
tired of that. We got two great options there, Hawkinson
Naylor stay out of the way.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah, I I think Nailers definitely get picked up, and
I wouldn't do that. But hey, Jason.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Hitting us with some questions, love it, man, Appreciate you
being here againting everybody else. You got anything you want
to throw out there? You want waiver wire discussion, trade talk,
We're doing it all today.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Or if you feel like we're idiots gonna go out
the opposite of what we say, I'm all for it.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Yeah, you know there's there's winning money in that as well.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yep, what is this? He rainy season?

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Froppy?

Speaker 2 (17:22):
I hope I said that right. Hey, guys just got
offered a lobby for Aaron Jones or Jalen Warren not
excited about Shuck, but he'said some good games. What do
you guys think I can?

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Of course you do, Yeah, of course you do.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah. He's my guy for me, and he's been panning out.
So I don't know, you looked good last week. You
want to sit there and you know you talk crap
on Chuck, but like he actually looked good.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
But is that just the opportunity to get out from
underneath him? I guess how how running are you? Running back? Needy?
I imagine that was. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
This also depends on like what's your wide receiver and
what's like your running back situation Rainy. I need to
know that too before. But I'm gonna say keep a
lava if I don't. If you're asking me the nutshell, Madison,
let's have our fifth time start QB throw forty It
passes great idea. Koc Vikings made Ravens kick four vehicles
and they missed the fifth field. No reason, n I

(18:19):
need it to that much. Yeah, honestly, nine is a
type of quarterback where he needs to not throw more
than twenty five times in a game. That's my stance
with him so far.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Some of those two picks, like I believe both guys
both times he threw that pick like somebody tripped or
like fell a little bit. I know Jefferson kind of
fell down, but I can't remember the first one. I
thought there was something funky with it. Like again, we've
just got excuses for it. I don't Knowhm's up.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Hey, guys, got Offred Henderson for Zay Flowers. Who would
you rather have?

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Either?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Would go my flex people, I don't have Henderson. Zay
Flowers has been such a disappointment after Week one. He
has just been so buns.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
And I'd rather have running back. You know, wide receivers.
You can find those all over the way for a
wire running back to a little harder something on.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Zave Flowers before I speak out of my butt, Yeah
he was wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Why wide receiver thirty thirty three, twenty eight, forty seven,
thirty three, twenty six, eighty nine, thirty one, and then
week one wide receiver one.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
That's what I thought, Yeah, wide receiver one. He had
that crazy week and then he's been bunned since. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I was really hoping we're gonna get more usage.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Yeah, I can kind of say everyone was kind his
body thing would definitely seemed like he was over it
playing that game.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
I do agree, which really season on the line. Man,
They're four and five and not in the ecast division.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Oh so you are trying to trade for a labbe Okay,
I have Derrick, Henry, Swift, Warren and Jones on my
bench and thinks of trading. Yeah, honestly, I would trade
for a lobby right now. He's on a bye that
the person probably needs it. I say, is this is
this is the time to buy guys who are on
a who are on a buy and that team needs

(20:05):
to win. It's this is actually perfect trade. I like.
I like doing these type of trades where you can
maybe sacrifice the loss, but you can gain a good
player out of it.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
The hard thing with Warren the last two weeks of
the playoffs, he has Detroit and Cleveland, but leading up
to it, it's the thirty second, twenty fourth, twenty six
and twenty second best matchup. She got five really good
games from him and then two questionable games from him
there in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
But you gotta make it end in Chicago. So two
good matchups. Buffalo, who's been pretty good against the run,
like besides last week and then Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Miam twenty eighth against the run, Baltimore's twenty six, Miami's
twenty second.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yeah, would you rather lose Warren or Jones? I rather
lose I'd rather lose Jones. Warren has just been steady
eddie for the Steelers. I feel like.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
I think I'd rather lose Joanes. He plays Detroit in
the championship green Bay in two weeks. Schedule's pretty equal,
oh Man. But Steelers' offense looks future. Man absolutely putrid.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
It does. It's scary because like, but I just feel
like because I saw Caleb Johnson touched the field last
week and I was like, Oh, are they gonna start
to use him? Nope, it didn't matter. Warren still is
on the field majority of the snaps.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
So yeah, the thing, I'm taking Warren here, But it's
it's pretty close. I don't think you can lose it.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
I just think you should get a lave depending on
who your wide receivers are rainy, like if you're if
you're hurting a wide receivers, a lave. I just feel
like it's like a solid piece to have, even though
brain doubts me.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Oh Man. He plays Atlanta, Miami, Tampa Bay, Carolina Jets,
and then Tennessee and the championship around.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Who's that the Steelers?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Uh in the Saints.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Oh, that's a nice matchup right there with us and
I have Gibbs Bucky and treated Deebo for Hampton weeks ago,
y'all think to come back from rather well, the Bucky
reporting was he has to put on pads first and
you know, be able to get tackled, and the head

(22:19):
coach that he's not there yet. It sounds like Hampton
is gonna come back after week twelve after their by
like that just sounds like it's sent in Stone. He's
out of a walking boot, which sounds great. So yeah,
you better hope he gets You're six and four. You
just you probably need to go one in one.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah, to get to the playoffs, you probably need at
least two more wins. I don't would you pivot like
I'd like, would you rather have Bucky or Ring or
Rico Daudle rest of season, Rico DeAndre Swift or Bucky Irving.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Bucky. I'm hoping if Bucky comes Like if Bucky comes
back and he's like seventy percent of what he is
it's Bucky.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Would you rather have R. J. Harvey or Omarion Hampton
rest a season? With the news about JK. Dobbins might
be out for some time. I'll still say Hampton, things
are getting interesting. I'll say that much. Trey Benson or
Omarion Hampton. Oh, Marion Hampton, Come on, well, Tree Benson

(23:31):
might be back sooner.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
He might. Yeah, with Collins and DK and Keenan who
have been killing me, So I think, yeah, I would
definitely make that trade. You have a lot of depth
at running back. You need to make a trade and
a full lobby is I like a lobby a lot.
I'm a lobby guy, so I like moving one of
your running backs for.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Him, except wide receiver corps is they're not helping you
right now unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah, it's burning you. Michael, Do I trade? I'll Jeer
and Parker Washington or Franklin for Stafford on my team.
J Daniels, Caleb Williams, Karen Williams, doubt All Brown, corn Woody,
Isaiah Davis, Aguca Pickens, Loveland Strange, and Mason Taylor.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
He had I would trade Franklin over Parker Washington if
I did the trade, Did I.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
I yeah, I would. I would trade Franklin for sure
over Parking Washington, I would do. I would do Algier
and and and Franklin for Stafford. But you have Caleb Williams,
Like I know, a lobby is or not a lobby Sorry,
I know Stafford's doing it, but Williams is like not
far behind.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
I feel like and Algier's probably gonna have some flexworthy
roles coming up. We saw Vulture two touchdowns this past game.
They've got some pretty juicy matchups and he's probably the
best handcuff in the league right now.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
He has Bijon and Josh Allen and waters hears are
not that great. Then yeah, I mean he's probably gonna
start Josh Allen the rest of the season, so he's
just getting extra depth at a position Josh Allen already
had his buy, so it doesn't hurt to offer it.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yeah, then you gotta flip Caleb. Then, if you've got
Caleb and Jalen, don't Jenden Daniels put.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Them on your ir spot hopefully or your outspot on
your yeahs that hopefully letul play on ESPN. God, they're
the worst. Can you not do that on ESPN? You
can't put an out.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Guy. I know, I haven't played on ESPN in year,
so I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
I'm playing it in two leagues, so this gets leaver
wires every day. It's not uh yeah, it's annoying.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Yeah. I think it was like seven eight seasons ago.
I want to go get my draft room for the draft,
and an ad popped up and I said, nope, we
switched right then in there, I was like, nope, we're
swapping over, went moved to sleeper. I haven't looked back.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, Daniels is in my ir things.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah, just keep Daniels in there. And you know, I
guess you have depth, but you can choose a matchup.
I think it's one of the worst things to do, though,
is to pick matchups between certain quarterbacks because they could
just really bite you in the butt.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
It usually does, Like I mean, we're we're starting to
see more and more talk about like, all right, which
defenses should I stash for the playoffs? Who should I
trade for now? Based on their schedule? And that stuff
does play into it, but it also can get completely
tossed out the window because of injuries, because of just
the matchups themselves. You know, we get these wrong all
the time. Look at the Panthers game this past week.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Are you benching DK?

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yes? If I'm in a ten team league, I think
you have the flexibility to bench DK.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Like Washington or DK. That's where I'm kind of at
right now with him. I just picked I picked up
Parker Washington two weeks ago, and I have DK in
this league, and I'm like, I know Parker Washington didn't
have like he had the touchdowns, but one was of
special teams. You know, I'm just it's annoying to own

(27:12):
DK right now?

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Yeah, like right now? I mean ECR for for fantasy pros,
like would they've got them right around? Za Flowers and
Davonta Smith. I want to play both these players over DK.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Yeah, No, I don't know if I want to play
z Flowers over DK. I think they're both.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I had another have DK, so they're just the big
and small versions of themselves Julian and Jacobs.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Should I trade flowers in White for lad rbs ur
CMC Henderson, Aaron Jones and Alvin Kamara. So Flowers and
Rishad White for Ladd mconkie. Yes, yes, I would do
that trade.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Yep, Yeah, because you got CMC Henderson and Jones is
running backs. This guy called Camerra I don't know who
he is anymore. It's not guy I used to watch
playing Nilo. Yeah, no kidding, no freaking kidding.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
I like the trade. I love going after lad right now.
That offensive line is just booty, and I think they're
gonna be able to just yeah yeah, quick passes, lots
of lots of dump offs at outdoors.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
This guy in last place in my league? What does
it say?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
No way to make the playoffs? Has odoonsay Hall and
Jefferson is offering James Cook for Breese Hall and o'donsey fair. Yeah, yeah,
that's it's more than fair, I feel like, because you
definitely would rather have James Cook rest the season over
Breese Hall. But smacking on Adonsay, I think it's that'll
get you about there.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yep, Okay, Allan, do I trade Pittman for Kelsey? I
have Mark Andrews in Loveland? Amenah Raschianibuka wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
That's a lot I wouldn't. I don't want Kelsey like,
I just I see him like as a fancy streamer
rest of season and Mark Andrews actually has a very
juicy rest of season. Let me see they have the
best remaining schedule for a tight end.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Or pick up Ought and THEO Johnson or Schultz No
to Schultz. Schultz is a one week wonder. I feel
like Davis Mills.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
THEO Johnson, I think it might be worth adding just
because like they're they're so decimated.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
But with Dart, I will let me preface that when Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Is playing with Dart. But I think you can patch
that hole with andrews Loveland and THEO Johnson without having
to get rid of Pittman because I like Pittman so
much more than I like Kelsey.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, I know Pittman had a bad week last week,
but that's what I think the Colts offense. This isn't
a hole, man, It's just like it's there's gonna be
a couple of guys that eat and a couple of
guys who don't. So Julian wide receivers are Puka, Franklin, Piercell,
and Godwin Oh Brother. That's a tough wide receiver room
besides Pooka mm hmmm. A wide receivers Jerry Judy Stable

(30:06):
against stat Oh against Raised or Pierce against the chiefs. Oh,
so Judy or Pierce is what he's saying for next week?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Yeah, I hold on a pitman, Okay, this isn't that.
That was four katcha.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Yeah, uh do I I'll be Jerry Judy or Pierce
basically is what he's asking. I guess Judy, like I
don't know, man.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
They change up play callings. Fancy gave up play calling,
so like that might be a signal to something happening
as far as Jerry Judy, but I don't. I don't
think anything significant. He still has Dylan Gabriel back there. Yeah,
all right, Pierce is going to be shot in the dark,
but I just think the talent's so much better.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Jason. I traded Woody Marks and Hunter Henry for Kittle.
Did I win?

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Oh yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I like Kittle more than the rest of those guys.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Henry is like a bad stream, So yeah, I love that.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Danny Dimes, Barkley, Kirn, Chase London, Nico Kittle, flex of
dudes are really doing, No, dude, I mean, maybe upgrade
at quarterback.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
But attack down there. Yeah, no, dude, you're good man.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Do I drop Mike Evans for Judy Godwin? Gange Lcorum Gordon.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Now I picking up Korum is interesting, like he's getting
more involved in just like it's handcuff time, like Mike
Evans coming back. Do we even have I haven't heard
any news on it yet.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
No, I haven't heard a single news yet. If you're
it might be like playoff times when he comes back.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
If anything, she might be able to pick him back up.
I guess it was only nineteen days ago he went on.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
I r Yeah, Pierce, take good players, some good teams. Yeah,
he's running more routes.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
I feel like, Yeah, he's heavily, heavily involved. I guess
that's never been a problem in his career. He's always
been out there. But I love that we're finally featuring
I honestly, we got a quarterback. That's that's really what
it is.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
We the system.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Where as the quarterback, I don't know. I'm trying to
be confident.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Julian that that's if I take the trade for lad
Flowers would play if I don't, Yeah, I don't have
Lad than Flowers.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Yep, yep, give me give me Lad.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Do I trade Tet and Kamara for ladd In Shakir,
I got Rico so I don't want to start two Panthers,
and Kara is my RB who always on my bench problems.
I got cooked already, so not really feeling Shakir.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
Shakira actually might have a bit more usage just with
the Dalton Kincaid hamstring, probably see him sideline for a
little bit. But I get I'd rather have two Bills
than Panthers.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, but like I don't know, I think the two
Panthers players are better than the Bills players.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
That's what That's why I was hesitating saying it, because
I was like, no, no, maybe we.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Go double James Cook. I feel like at this point,
you know, it's crazy to say, is there at the
same level and Tet is better than Shakir.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah, I think I would take it just to get
the best player in the trade, which would be a
lad And then if you have to ship Shakira off
elsewhere or he might be droppable at some point too.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
He's not dropable.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
I don't want to play him.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
You don't want to play him, but you also want
to own him too.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
I don't known him in a single league this year.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
All right, we're desperate out here in this in this time.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Why did you ever thirty one on the season.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Ownable in twelve man league. I guess, I guess grow
Daniel Jones's QB awful dynasty management a QB like that.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Yeah, I don't like. Where is his value in dynasty? Like?
If you're contending in a super flex league, how much
would you give up to acquire Daniel Jones late first?

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Like if I know I'm making playoffs, like I'm not
offering my first round pick, take it or leave it.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I don't like that. I don't like that at all.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
I offer you one first rounder. I'd say this is
it gross. Jason Dart is your quarterback, James Cook, Gent,
Saint Brown, Wattle, Pittman, Dallas Goddard. Flex is two flex
of Rico and Warren, Benches, Kamara, Chubb, Tet and more.

(34:46):
And so you basically trade Cook for.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Doubtll.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
No, you have Doubtll. What was the trade again? Let
me see again? It was Tet and Kamara for lad
and Shakir. So I think I keep this team the
way it is. You have Saint Brown and Wattle, Like,
I think you're fine, man, I don't think i'd do
any trades. To be honest, Jason, you've.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Got Cook and Gingy. I unless you really want Lad,
I think I would hold tight too.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I like the team, Yeah, I like the team more
as it is right now than it is like because
Ted's like Ted's on your bench. That's that's really helpful.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Oh man, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
You're looking at this with Ladd makes me feel better.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Because then we were you putting in Lad. I guess
I guess he would sub in for Pittman and Warren.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Yeah, Jason doesn't take QBS. Isn't a bad strategy. Again,
it's not your league. Like I've said before, I think
if you're in a league where quarterback point passing points
are four points, then the Russian quarterbacks are way more
valuable to own. But if it's six point league, you
can pun on quarterbacks. On quarterbacks in a lot of

(36:00):
six point leagues unless it's like a value for me.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
I put on quarterback in just about every league. Like,
come on, folks, streaming's it's very possible, very easy. That's
what we're doing here, walk in the wire. We're streaming streaming, guys, Do.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
I drop Nick Chubb and tooting for Judy Coleman, Gainwell,
Gordon Miniels uh.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
No, Nick dropping I would drop Chubb.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Dude, Gross, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
I guess just outright drop him. But like I think
I would rather have my wide receiver is in need,
I would grab Judy over Chubb, Emmanuel Wilson, Gordon. Why
am I struggling with Gordon? Who's that?

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Olli? Gordon?

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Ollie Gordon? And I think I have Nick Chubb over
Ali Gordon. I guess if you need I get this
all depends on how deep your running back position is,
because like, if you don't need Chubb, then yes, I'd
rather have one of the handcuffs.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
He has Camara Chubb, Warren Rico, and then his other
running backs were gent and Cook, so he's got.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Oh this is that league. Yeah, if it's that league, Yeah,
I would drop Chubb because it's Chubb's never gonna make
your lineup with all these players. I'd rather have the
handcuffs of game Weell, Gordon, Wilson.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
I don't have Judy then if I'm gonna drop one,
how about those.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Wide receivers because he's still not coming in over Tet
and Tet's on the bench.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Yeah, I guess give me a handcuff man.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Start one QB this week. Mariota, Rogers, Gino and Tua.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
We were just having this conversation Mario in Tua, are
you guys good plays this week?

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Who does Pitt and all is Rogers that could play
this week because they play Cincy?

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Oh snap, they do. Yeah, I've got Aaron Rodgers. I'm
just looking at my rankings, so I've got him at
eleven right now.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yeah, I think Rogers is the sneaky play this week,
just because since he bleeds points in Yeah, since he
bleeds points, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go Rogers. And
this feels weird to say, but I'm gonna go Rogers.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Rank the rest of them.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Rogers, Okay, so it's gonna go Rogers, Tier tier tier
tier tier here. Just so we're clear, it's not even
close for me.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Gino plays Dallas and then two and Mario to play
each other.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
You literally could flip a three sided coin like, yeah,
sure fine, Rogers, Gino, I go Mariota. Mariota. Mariota's last
for me. So that's where I'm at with it.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Yeah, I think I think that's how I'd go to
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
Which tight end is best this week? Theo Johnson, Strange
Caden Well THEO. Johnson's with Danger Russ. So unless it's Jamis,
If Jameis Winston's playing, give me, yeah, give me the
just don't even care about life itself. Just give me THEO.

(39:06):
It's between a strangers. I'd pick Kate Aten Katon's like.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
He's last on my list.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
He's always last for you.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
I don't, I don't, I really don't.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
What did he do last? I don't he Proba didn't
do well last week. But I guess where are you at?
Mister Rawten?

Speaker 1 (39:25):
You got a skull to find Kate Aughton.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
No, I just spelt it wrong. That's why. Where was he?
Four catches forty yards? Like it's yeah, no, nine catches
for eighty two yards?

Speaker 3 (39:38):
Screw you?

Speaker 2 (39:39):
He was great last week.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Here's decent decent tightens six man.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
Okay, Well there goes my argument note about his best
best game on the season being at tightened fourteen.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Thank you? It will? Should I drop a yuk for
Golden koram game? Well, Tuttan Nick Chubb, I mean listens, No,
I'd rather hold I you.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
I would rather have Tutin Korum or Emmanuel Wilson I
think it would go Korum tot sutin' korum Wilson for me.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
If rock Purty comes back, I'm I like a yuk,
which I think Rock Purty is gonna come back.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
They're not even discussing him coming back though right now.
I yuk.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
They need to.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
I know they need to, but we're not even getting
Pierce all back yet.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah, I have Josh Allen as my starting quarterback, but
I do I try to pick up Joe Burrow and
just try to trade value for him. Absolutely, why not
the worst drop him again?

Speaker 1 (40:36):
Yeah, I was gonna say, especially right now, he's still
in the IR so you can put him in that
slot you need to drop him, you can otherwise you've
got a couple of weeks to shop.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
Yeah, just go to a flex player, dude, why not
firing me? Is might not be a bad stream of
tight end Blue begins Bingles. Yeah, honestly, I'd be starting
a lot of Pittsburgh guys next week.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Yeah. My Titan streaming article, I was working on it
and Friar Youth. I can't couldn't decide which one I
was going with right now, it's Friar Youth. It's on
the list A. J.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Barner is a sneaky tight end play with the toush
push ups. I think it's just a sneaky play in
general with the Seattle offense humm and the way it
is to be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
And go check for Luke Muskrave, I didn't realize his
ownership percentage is a blow twenty percent in some leagues
or some platforms.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
What do you do last night?

Speaker 1 (41:19):
That? Well, it was the Eagles, Like I didn't. I
didn't like him as a pick up this past week
because of the magic with the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
I think it was like free for twenty three.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
Yeah, Greg Dulcic, I actually really like this week too.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Which, look, I gotta dig deep on the streaming articles.
I'm supposed to go down like.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
You're digging real deep. Which artem to trade for Tet?
Don't don't want to start two Panthers in this the
league causes what do you guys think, John Man, hold
Tet and hold and hold Rico? Just hold him.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
I mean I'm trying to think who I would though,
like the rest of the season rankings and we pull
those up.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Let me see here.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
I mean, so we're getting rid of tet. I would go,
I don't know, like this is his team.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
I think this is it right here? I have it Nicks,
Rico Vidal, Puka, Nico Collins, Tet Titans, Warren Flexas, Shakir Wandale,
Benches Hampton, you go.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
Get Tree, Benson. What are those injured running backs? Isn't
coming back yet? Like, if you don't need TETs, get
one of those. I mean, would you rather have Alec
Pearceer tet rest of the season tet Jordan Addison or
TET tet Stephan Diggs.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Stephan Diggs. I might have a I feel like he
might have a concussion. Does he not have a concussion?

Speaker 1 (42:56):
Stephan Diggs?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Yeah? This is that last is the on side kick.
He just land on his head. So I'm in three
leagues and my kebs are Nixon one, Darton one, and
Jones Dak another. Which league should I target? Joe Burr
and how much fab you back? Week fourteen? I hate
bo Nicks so and that league is where i'd go.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Get first two leagues. I'd look for a replacement because
Jacksondark probably he shouldn't play this week. I don't care
if he clears his concussion protocol or not. Honestly, I
don't think you have to attack Joe Burrow with a
lot of fab, Like I know the reports come out that,
like you know, the practice window, but I don't know
how many people saw it. And I guess kind of

(43:40):
know your league, like how how you know quick are
they on grabbing guys like that?

Speaker 2 (43:45):
Also, go see how much fab is left on each
guy and just see, like if you have twenty, the
rest of league only has fifteen. Like if you really
want to be like that, then you all. I got
to do his bid sixteen to really be smart. But
that's up to you. Archie. I am usually starting down
and k but he's pretty probably gonna be out for
this week. But but best tight end pick up this week?

(44:06):
This guy is the one to ask about that one.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
Just depends what you got sitting out there. I mean
kind of not exactly an answer for you. But we
talked about THEO Johnson possibly pat for Army, like those
are digging deep guys. You know, Harold Fannon, I like him.
If he's dropped, Yeah, I was gonna say, it's just

(44:35):
PINNs kind of who you have available?

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Would you still do Musgrave?

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Yeah, Yeah, I'd go after Musgrave. I'm still intrigued. I
mean that offense has to move somehow. They clearly weren't
able to move the ball. I've just been Philly locking
him down. When they go and acchoire, would they get
three defensive pieces over the last ten days or something
like that, Jalen Phillips, so good looked? So good?

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Is Burrow worth getting if I have Stafford and Herbert superflex? Yes, yeah,
you cannot have enough quarterbacks and superflex that are actually
starting m hm.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Because if Burrow was one of those two originally he
went down, you were gonna need that third to fill in.
So yeah, I definitely go after him in super flex
a lot harder.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yep, brain no one as the recaid that sentence.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
A few times. I get away with a few of
those today.

Speaker 2 (45:28):
Yeah, if you have an IRS spot available, I would
pick up Burrow, potentially pick him up a yep. I agree.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Appreciate association, we're here, Appreciate you all hanging out. We
got about fifteen minutes left in the stream, so again,
anything I want toss in there, let us know. Otherwise
we got quite a few blowing it up.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Also, the guy who had the studs. QBS won't pick
up Burrows, so just check the guys who could use
a QB upgrade in their fab.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
Yep, I agree. Strategy strategy, strategy, true, man, Yep.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
I'm trying to think of, like how much FAB would
I really want to spend on Burrow Like I have
Jalen Hurts, And I'm like.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
Like, yeah, I was gonna say five to ten percent
somewhere in.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
There available tight ends in my league? All right, here
you go or Dawson Oxy.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
Sure, so I'd go Andrews friar Ms, I like as
a stream this week, but the longevity isn't there, So.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Because who do you say, because he had King Kaids
his tight end.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
So you're gonnaed a replacement for a few weeks. Honestly,
Andrews rest of season schedule is pretty freaking juicy. Cleveland
this week is not great that the eleventh thigains tight end,
but in the week after you've got Giants who were
twenty third, Cincinnati thirty second, Pittsburgh a thirtieth, and Cincinnati
thirty second. So that little stretch in a couple of
weeks is absolutely just It's really enticing. So yeah, I

(46:56):
think it's Andrews and Musgrave. I don't honestly be willing
to drop to Dalton Kincage. Do you drop him?

Speaker 3 (47:03):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (47:05):
Yeah, Hammy's just sound it doesn't sound good like if
you're asking me for a week start though, like just
for this one week, I'm starting friarmth. That sounds gross,
but it's just because it's Sinsey that for that. You
can ask me next week.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
Well, that's when you go to kind of Andrew's for
the rest of that time, because then two of the
next four.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Week if the belt if he doesn't get picked up either. Yeah,
how many buys are there next week? That's my next question.
How many teams are on buys next week? Because it's
only two this.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Week, so uh, it's four next week. You got the
Chargers on by Commanders, Broncos and Dolphins, and honestly nobody
has tight ends from those teams. Yes they do, except
that's I mean, if he's not already being picked up
this week for or his replacement. If he's out this
week for that injury.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
When does Waller come back? By the way, is there
any news on him potentially coming back? I feel like
that's also like a sneaky stash of like.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
Hey, it's he's his windows supposed to be opening up
here pretty soon. I saw a report on him last
week because I went and grabbed him in a couple
of leagues. But at that point, yeah, Greg Dulcie would
be completely irrelevant. Darren wall expected to return this year.
That's sounds before I saw that One's not great. That

(48:16):
one was from three weeks ago when he went when
he hit ir But yeah, Darren Waller is definitely a
sneaky ad. I like Phil, I love that sleeper. Let
you filter through IRL slots because then every league I'll
go through there and just start scrolling Jayden Reid, you know,
just finding him. Start. Are you picking up Jade and read?
In any leagues?

Speaker 2 (48:33):
I would, yeah, Like, because I have to start Darnell
Mooney in one. That's how bad it is. So like that,
I'm trying to think where I'm at with the wider slake.
So it's so Darnell Mooney or Malik Washington.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
Mooney, yeah, Moony, both ones.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
They're both awful. But that's where I'm at. That's how
bad it is. We're out here.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
Yeah, I saw rumors for this earlier about Dobbin's POSSI
going to IR. We saw that he wanted a second opinion.

Speaker 2 (49:04):
Whenever cry, Yeah, I just cry because I just know
it's never good.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
We're like slowly flipping all of the rookie switches, you know,
the Henderson one just got switt Like we're working away
here and R J. Harvey looks like he might be
the next big thing. Right now? Do I draft Travis
Hunter for my IR and a keeper? He's out for
the season, so I guess you have multiple I got
a few questions for you. How many keepers can you keep?

(49:30):
How many? Or I guess how many other prospects do
you have to keep? Yeah? Do you have a fluid
question there? And then what do you lose for your keeper?
Like is it based on draft position or not? Because
I drafted him this year in my home league keeper league,
I just dropped round uh, sixth.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Round, and then you just keep him for a fifth
right if you did?

Speaker 1 (49:51):
Like you know, we keep saying, we keep saying round.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
Next year, Travis, I feel like he might be the
same round. I feel like that.

Speaker 1 (50:00):
That's why I dropped him. I also have three other
prospects for me to keep that I like and we
can only keep two. So I just up and dropped
Travis Hunter a couple of weeks ago. I needed the room.
I was hoping it was gonna be season ending just
on on that, not that I'm rooting against him. Here,
let's watch it there.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
I'm gonna ask you question right now about Travis Hunter situation.
Fans you can chime into. But it's Parker Washington Waterceiverer
one in Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (50:22):
Yeah, who else would be? Hunter's on my arm?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I have a milk carton here and there's a guy
named Brian Thomas Junior, says missing.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
So yeah, there's just one Brian right now, and it's me.
It's me BDJ. Who goodness, you know. I did a
startup Dynasty league in like May, and I was at
the end of the first round, like I was at
that turn, full intentions on taking Brian Thomas Junior. Guy
ahead of me, took him, and I was so pissed.
I was like, whatever, I guess I'll take Molik neighbors here.

(50:53):
Not too bummed about it right now, not competing, so
the out for the season isn't hurting me, but kind
of dodgeable a little. On that one.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
Mark you can keep up to four. I'm probably gonna
keep Josh Allen, Drake London, maybe Ashton Gent and Tribute Henderson.
Don't know why I drop Killer Williams, but I think
you should also lose that draft pick. Okay where they
draft them. So you said you're gonna keep Drake London,
Josh Allen, Gent, I mean you're not gonna keep two quarterbacks.

(51:23):
So you have to pick between Josh Allen and unless
super Unless it's super Flex, then yeah, I think i'd
keep all those guys over over Travis Hunter.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Yeah, I think I would too. If you need the spot,
if you're contending this year, if you're pushing for it,
you need that extra roster spot, I think I would
do it. I'd be willing to.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
See.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
I need to get up to four keepers. I'm only
in a two keeper league, and they're like yelling at
me when I try and push to three.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
You're the worst, dude. That's why.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
That's right, you know too much worse.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
It's not super Flex. I'm also probably not playing Oh brother,
you need to sell my boy. Yeah, I'd sell then, yep,
I would sell Josh.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
I would try to get something back because honestly, Josh
Allen doesn't really entice me that much in a keeper
league when you're keeping the round that they got drafted,
because you're crently saving anything on them.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
May.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Yeah, somewhere right in there the two three turn. Probably
Drake May. You got a huge value on it. So
Drake May would be the quarterback I want, and then
it would be Drake London, Ashton Gent probably Travion Henderson.
I'm trying to remember who was drafted first, him or
I guess he was drafted before Travis Hunter.

Speaker 2 (52:41):
Yes, Travion for sure. Remember I told you and all
my leagues Travion was going in the third round. Was
so annoying. It was the weirdest thing ever. I'm on
a winning streaker now, so it's possible, but it's going
to be close. Oh so you need to decide, Mark,
You really need to come to the conclusion of, like
you got to push the chips in or you're gonna fold,
because like, being in this middle ground ain't fun.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
I'd still probably sell Josh Allen mm hmm, I'd be
okay right in Drake May and a you know, streaming quarterback.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Just Draft nine next year, you're going to be a stud.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
Next year, he'll be a year older, so he'll be ten.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Next year he might not be on the team.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
No, there's no way. There's no way. Bryce Young got
three years.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
Just dude, when you can't throw the ball to the
left side of the field, Like what, that's just the
weirdest thing to me, Like learning that about him, Like
he never threw to.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
The left side. It's like that's just a hum. As
a defensive coordinator, I kind of would want to fuck
with him, and she'd be like, no, just stack everybody
on the right side and just force him to go,
laugh and just see what he does.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
You know, I think it'd be fun.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
I think it would be funn Man, where do you
rank Brian Thomas Junior next year? By the way? Oh?

Speaker 1 (54:04):
God?

Speaker 2 (54:06):
Like genuinely, I'm at like he. I feel like I'm
gonna be taking a lot of them because he's gets
ranked so stupid low.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
It's not gonna feel great taking him though, Like if
George Pickens stays with Dallas, would you rather have George
Pickens or Brian Thomas Jr?

Speaker 2 (54:25):
George George God damn it, George Pickens. Then the other
passes on the left?

Speaker 1 (54:34):
All right? Fair?

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Congrats ease of them my QB I have my one
of my best friends is a Vikings fan, and like,
I have to see so many like Vikings. Like I've
changed our group chat text of Vikings fan club just
because of how many Vikings posts I get in there.
So I'm sorry, I'm over it. Who else besides Brian
Thomas Junior? Then I want to play this.

Speaker 1 (55:00):
T Higgins.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
I think I take Brian Thomas Junior.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Devant Smith.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
Oh my god, who's our coordinator next year?

Speaker 1 (55:11):
Yeah? Dk Metcalf for Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
Oh, who's their quarterback next year?

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Does does Rogers roll it back?

Speaker 2 (55:23):
He's dying? There's no way, Yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
Has to or I mean he can go to the Vikings.
We're still waiting for the Brett Favre connection to Yeah,
to finish out there.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
I'm taking three rbs in all leagues next year. Honestly,
I did it into some of them and it was
fun for a couple then they die out, like I went.
I went Beijon Bucky and Hampton and it was great
for one week and then it just died on me.

Speaker 1 (55:48):
So yeah, it's I don't know. Would you rather have
had J S N Or JT in the second round.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
Oh J, I was a big JT guy. Js N
was like my third round Like I was like, I
was okay with JSN.

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Marvin Harrison Junior or BTJ next year, if.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
Who is the quarterback for you think you think, oh
that's a tinfoil Hackens.

Speaker 1 (56:16):
Spears and Kyler are just gonna swap teams, just.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Swap as long as it's not Kyler. Next year, I
think Marvin gets just over targeted him and Trade McBride
will be really good targets.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
I mean the Cardinal's head coach. He has to be
on one of the hottest seats right now, right.

Speaker 2 (56:36):
Who the yes, because they like when I see posts
of like what does he do? Like what does he
actually do for the team, then like, yeah, he's for
sure on the hot seat. Oh oh yeah. The corner
was on Naylor. A lot of the most points per
route run from the Ravens for the Uspian Shadow Report,
Naylor is one of the yeah, well there you go,
swift or eat and rest of the season. Oh, etn,

(57:05):
I bet I've got him back to back playoffs.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
I bet I've got them back to back.

Speaker 2 (57:09):
Here, I'd say ETN just because Manongai scares me.

Speaker 1 (57:16):
I feel like I should have to scroll this form.
We're where they are they.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
I'm gonna say et and I don't know what I do.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
I've got swift at eighteen, ETN at twenty, so can
be swift. I guess.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
Okay, I'm ETN just purely because I'm anong guy.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
Oh, I'm swift purely because of Tutan.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
M hmm. I'm from La, so I know what champions
are and I'm not like those weird Minnesota fans that
have little of their hope by week. I mean, if
you can see behind me, I have a Freddie Freeman
walk off signed Grand Slam poster, Brian Star at Sport Baseball.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
So yeah, what is it that again? It's someone with
the racket. Yes, No, I've been to a baseball game.
I did the nine nine to nine Challenge this year.

Speaker 2 (58:03):
Oh you you are disgusting to.

Speaker 1 (58:06):
That ninth hot dog. I haven't had a hot dog
since I think this was back in like August. Just
me and my two brothers, and you know they're significantly
younger than me, and I've got to prove that. You know,
I'm on the old old fort even though I am unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (58:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:24):
Nice, No, we're not going to pop up that last
comment there, no weirdo, But folks, that's it. We got
to get out of here. We're rolling out. We appreciate
you all hanging out with us here on Walking the Wire.
Every single Tuesday, three o'clock Eastern, Brennan and I will

Speaker 2 (58:43):
Trades, and just where are check out roster.

Speaker 1 (58:45):
We're helping you all out, making sure you guys can
do everything you can to win your league. Pretty much
you got for the people.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
One flex Henderson or Wattle. I'm saying Wattle, hot dog.
That's my that's my last comment.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
There you go, hot dog. Oh yeah a Wattle? What
a wattle? Folks. That's it. We'll see you all later.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
