Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yo, what's happening everybody? We're back with another episode of
Too Much Fantasy Football. It's week ten, even though it
says week nine down there on the graphic that I'm seeing,
and hey, we gotta go through all of these games
starting in Germany going all the way to Monday night.
It's Brian Brennan. How you doing, man, I'm doing pretty good.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I just I realized it too, is like it says
week nine. I don't know if you're a banner for it,
but we'll work with it.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, we'll make two folks. Look, we're trying to get
all the people that are trying to watch. We'll get
them away. So it's just you and us, just you
getting all the great information. Hopefully it plays out well.
But yeah, we're we got several games here to go through,
going from uh, like I said, early Sunday morning, get
ready to make sure your lineups are set. If you're
not Eastern Coast time and you're not waking up for
that uh at nine thirty game like this guy you

(00:59):
don't have and having a sudden alarm.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
For Yeah, that's way too early.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
That's way too early.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
But yeah, without further ado, you ready to see kicked off.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Let's do it. Let's do it to it.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Three and five Falcons taking on the seven and two
Colts in Germany early Sunday morning. It's the forty eight
and a half over under Indies, favored by six and
a half points. Maybe that's because of the acquisition of
their new cornerback there Saws Gardner's in town. I mean,
Michael Pennock really isn't much of a thought here of
a play, but Daniel Jones definitely is.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, He's definitely in my mind because I have a
couple of options like with him, Like there's teams where
it's like it's him or Caleb Williams. It's him or
Jared Goff, And I mean I'm kind of in the
fritz between. I think they're all kind of coin flips
in my mind right now.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, I mean I've got Daniel Jones, Caleb Williams, and
then Jared Goff all three out of four spots right there.
They're all pretty close back to back. I think I'm
okay with Daniel Jones, though early morning games we don't
always the return that we hope for, but I'm willing
to risk it.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, I don't necessarily mind it. I think like you
just got to, you know, go with thees your gut
when you have like guys like that, because even like
Jordan Love like is like it's still like, would you
go Jordan Love or Daniel Jones.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I think Daniel Jones get the rushing up side, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah, It's kind of where I'm at right now. I think.
I know it's early game and it can kind of
ruin your Sunday, but you just got to treat as
an oral game. And Atlanta does have a good defense,
but I Indy can.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
With the ball. Yeah, I mean most of the time,
it seems like Atlanta plays good at home. So maybe
maybe the this will play in. The Colts favor two
of the best running backs in the game right now,
b Jehn Robinson Jonathan Taylor. You have to start in
both with confidence. There's no way you're straighting away from
those two guys.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
No, you're not. Bijon had a was it? No? He
had an okay game last week? Right? Or is it
back to back stinkers?

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I believe you had a. It was a better game. Yeah,
RB twelve last week, forty six on the ground, fifty through.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
The airy yeah, he still doesn't have a touchdowns. What
it is he's been out of the end zone.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, back to the last two games, no touchdown and
only two in his last five weeks.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Okay, you're still starting beaje On, You're still starting Jonathan
Taylor with Bie Weeks this week. Algier kind of in
the play for you, maybe in a flex and like
some your pension.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I think so, depending on the game script, how you
feel as games could go. I could see, you know,
Algier going in there. He does kind of spell beese
On from time to time. But it's desperation. Twelve team,
definitely ten team. You definitely not looking there. Wide receivers
Drake London, easy play, Michael Pittman on the other side,
same thing.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Yeah, it's the same thing for me. And there's another
wide receiver kind of to talk about. It's Alec Pierce.
He's been kind of eating to the targets here.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Are you playing Alec Pierce or Tyler Algier in your flex?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I think I go Alec Pierce just because of the
way it's been playing out for him.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
And then finally we have who are looking at the
tight ends here, Tyler Warren Kyle Pitts. Kyle Pitts has
been decent this season. You know, it hasn't been the
absolute best, but he isn't kill Joe.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
He's flirting with tight end twelve or like the tight
end one. He's always flirting with it. So that's why
it's just like one of those like ah maybe like again,
it's saw A Warren for me. I'm not thinking about
anything else. Kyle Pitts, you can, you can go that way.
I mean I look at it as like theo or
we'll talk about the guy behind him or in the
next game. But Juwan Johnson or Kyle Pitts.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Well, I play Kyle Pitts. I feel pretty good there.
I actually might play Kyle Pits over Tyler Warren this week.
I know it sounds crazy. Tyler Warren coming off his
worst game of the season. The Falcons are number one
against tight end. They're averaging four points a game to
the tight end position.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
It sounds crazy. You probably don't have a pivot option,
but most of Mike Tyler Warren leaks I've like glommed
onto other tight ends, so I am might I'm willing
to pivot away from him.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I guess I wonder who Atlanta has played that's got
like even a remotely top ten tight end, though, like,
like can.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
You they played Hunter? They played Hunter Henry last week,
Greg Dulcie the week before, George killed the week before
that game.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
That's not with that's not how did what did he
do in that game?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
I don't have his numbers?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Did he play that game?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
I was gonna say three weeks, so he might not
have played that one. Tom has been putting up points regardless,
Kinkaid and Company only put up eight point four. Ertz
was kept the five point one Carolina Minnesota, so like,
not the best of tight ends.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Competition hasn't been there. I feel like, so maybe that's
an outlier. I would kind of point towards that stat.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I guess he did me dirty last week. I guess
is why I'm I'm willing to pivot away.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
From he drafted him so late though. He's just been
a reward for.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
You, regardless one, who do you have winning it?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I'll say Indy, but Atlanta covers, Yeah, six a lot
of points.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
That's that's a lot of points. I agree, I like it.
I like it. Next up, we've got New Orleans and Carolina.
A divisional battle here one in eight Saints taken on
the five and four Panthers thirty nine thirty nine and
a half point over under. Carolina is favored by five
and a half in this one.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Very area is Carolina? Like? Are they gonna be a
playoff team? Are they good? I'm trying to figure out,
like I'm genuinely just like I think it generally just
comes down to if Rico can just pound the rock
and be, you know, just like what he's been, and
I guess Bryce Young not turn over the ball. I

(06:37):
think they have a really good decent chance of being
above five hundred this year.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Rico Daddle back at practice Thursday. It looks like he's
gonna start getting the Wednesday rest. They are giving him
so much work. So Rico Daddle's an easy play. Are
you playing Cuba Hubbard or Alvin Kamara in this one?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Alvin Kamara?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, I I that's that's not saying much.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm gonna pick the guy. I think he'll get more points. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Yeah, it's a smart choice, but it's not a great
play at all. Last I mean, we can go back
sixty five thirty five forty sixteen twenty nine thirty one.
Alvin Kamara has been atrocious this year. I think we
finally hit the cliff. We did all right, pee buddy,
But I mean the quarterbacks, we slipped over them. But Shuck,
I'm not playing Bryce Young. I'm not that desperate.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
No, I'm not deser for any of these quarterbacks.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I mean outside of that, it's kind of what Lave
McMillan and Juwan Johnson if you need it.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, I think with Shaheed gon A, Lave's target should
definitely creep up because like now you're looking at like
or you can go pick up to Sean val or
you can go pick up you know, Brandon Cooks from
the Saints. Is that like now something going to pique
your interest because Sheed's gone? I don't think so, because
I think Rattler's a better quarterback than Shuck.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, at least for yeah, he's played better. He's at
least for fantasy. Yeah. Yeah, it's so. I've actually Lave
and McMillan back to back right there, Wide receivers twenty
and twenty one, Like, I don't know, are you you
put tet tet is very He looks so much better

(08:13):
than his results, are I guess as far as fantasy goes,
like his metrics every like if you had a good quarterback,
who do you imagine.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
This is a run first team and so but he's
the first red target, so it's just a matter of
like he's got to get the catches when they actually started,
when they fill the football, That's what really comes down to.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
It's the wildest when the when the Panthers are down
by seven or more, they have the third lowest pass rate.
So even when they're down and down big, they are
still staying consistent to the run game.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
It works. So CAUs Rico Dwell has just been so amazing.
So that's just where it stands, which.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Is just blows my mind because of just the one
year deal. Couldn't any kind of got it done in
Dallas for US last year, but just how long it took,
I guess for it to happen.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I guess I use them in correctly.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Who ends it?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I'm gonna say the Saints. I don't know why. I
feel like it's a coin flip, to be honest with you,
like I think it's I think, Caroline, it might be
a little bit better on the roster side, but I
don't think they're that far off, and it's a division game.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
That's why I could see the Saints taking this, or
at least it being a lot closer than it should.
But I'm Gonnalyan know, I'm gonna yeah, give me Rico,
Give me Rico. They get the points. Okay, Next up,
go into the Windy City. That's right, Jackson Dart in
company two and seven Giants going to the five and
three Bears. It's a forty six and a half point

(09:34):
over under Chicago, favored by a four and a half.
Lines moved up a point starting off with these quarterbacks.
I want to get them both of my lineups.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, I do too. Jackson Dart's just been tried and true.
You picked him up and I kind of hasn't left
your lineup unless you've had like he It was like
a by situation of like Josh Allen or something like that.
But even then, like I think you're still holding on
to Jackson Dart as like a trade prospect potentially.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Yeah, one hundred percent. So I like both these guys
as QB one's this week going to the running back
Kyle Manungay absolutely crushed it last week against the Bengals.
But it looks like we've got DeAndre Swift. He will
play in week ten, is the word we're getting from
the coaches. Do you play Manonguy as well? Do you
have confidence putting him out there as a flex?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I mean, after what you saw last week, he kinda
have two. But I think the worst thing of the
situation is that it becomes a fifty to fifty split, because
then no one wins.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah, then we don't know who to start. Prior to
his solo game, I mean, it's forty six forty five,
thirty four percent of snaps, seven for twenty four of
the game before thirteen for eighty one and a touchdown.
Two games against New Orleans the Giants. You know, not
the best matchup, but not the worst matchup either.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
I guess would you rather play Manunga or Tracy.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Ooh, manung guy he's been more efficient, Tracy has not
been that great.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah. I really hope it's less of this fifty to fifty,
forty five, fifty five, whatever the snap was this past week.
Give Tracey the ball. There's no reason Singletary needs to
be going out there putting more than thirty percent of
the work on.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous at this point.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
As for the wide receivers, I mean I kind of
give Wandell Robinson his crap because you know his ceiling is.
I mean it's a it's a room that Kyler could
walk in, it's so low. But I don't mind playing
him this week. I think the matchup's pretty good just
where the Bear's corners sit. So Wandell, I'm willing to play.
What about odoonsday? Are we going back to? Like you

(11:38):
just have to play him and you can't think anything
about it. He returned to practice today, correct, I believe so?

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Yeah, yeah, so because I know he missed practiced yesterday
on Wednesday. Yes, again he's been It was a it's
just one of those shootout games and he ends with zero,
Like that sucks, like it just it burns in your memory.
But like he's also been very, very good and in
the end zone, Like you just can't take that away.

(12:03):
So now there's another sinker of a back to back games.
That's when you start to panic, Like I'm starting with
confidence this week.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yeah, I agree. DJ Turner. We talked about like he
he's a lot better than people realize as far as
just how bad the Bengals are him kind of getting
locked up with him. The Giants are twenty six against
the wide receiver. They give up points over thirty points
to the wide receiver position. So willing to go back
to romadunz a DJ Moore Zakias Burden.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I'm okay with Dj Moore as a flex option, like
I'm okay with it other guys. No, I'm not. I'm
just I'm rostering as a kias though I am. I
am holding Zakias because the targets are there and it's stupid.
I don't get it. But he's still getting a bunch
of targets. No, it's stupid. I don't like it. Uh.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
THEO Johnson for the Giants, I've got him as one
of my streamers this week. Again, folks, my streamers at
this point of the season, they're deep if you had
no pivot option from Crafts. So I do think there's
a possibility there. But Loveland, I'd rather play THEO Johnson
the Loveland really Yeah, It's just it doesn't entice me
at all. I'll go back to the THEO Johnson Giants

(13:10):
are middle of the pack, or I mean to Loveland.
There's just so many miles to feed and Roman tunesday.
His dad's been on Twitter. They're gonna they're gonna feed him.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Yeah, I'm kind of like these guys are all coin flips.
Like you, I could say yes to any of the
guys that aren't in like the top six, that aren't
slidified there after. That's just like I could see a
path where I really want to play him. No, but like,
what are your options at this point?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Like I think I'd.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Rather play Loveland over THEO. But again, it's not like
it's it's not this like far off thing where like
Loveland's over here and Theo's over here. I think they're
kind of close.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Actually, yeah, this round or realm of tight ends. You're
kind of just hoping for a touchdown, and I think
THEO Johnson's got a better shot. You know, Loveland's competing
with so many others. I don't think that THEO Johnson's
really competing with them. Guys.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
I agree with that.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Who who's winning four and a half for Chicago?

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Chicago wins, but I think the Giants cover. I think
it's a field goal.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
I'm gonna take the four and a half. I mean,
I've been taking the Bears way too often this year.
For they're five and three, so I haven't lost too many,
but I feel like I've picked them every time for
those three losses this year, it's been no fun. No
Next up, back to those divisional games. Here we go.
It's the five and three Jags against the three and
five Texans thirty seven and a half point over under Jacksonville.

(14:28):
The lines move from Houston one and a half to
now Jacksonville one point. I mean, we're not even talking
about Davis the neck Mills because he's starting for Houston
this week. Trevor Lawrence, Let's hold on.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
We can talk about a lot of players we're not
gonna start in fantasy for this game. If we're gonna
be completely honest, I think genuinely, if I like, I
know we have a timer here, but dude, we could
finish this in like twenty seconds. I think it's Niago
Collins ATN Parker Washington. Like you, the question become Jacoby Myers.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
I think Marx, Teuton and Myers are all in flex
consideration depending on the league. In the situation, I do
agree with you. Those the only ones that I confidently
would start are gonna be et In Washington and Nico
Collins though yes, god, Nico has been so disappointing this year,
Like had of a game last week though he did

(15:25):
seven catches on eleven at seventy five yards, no touchdown,
but finished out on wide receiver twenty eight. Not bad.
Not bad.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah, not the wide receiver top five we all claimed
him to be, which I still think he can be
that because he's shown us he can be that. But
like it just goes to show that, like how you
build your roster is so important, and like we sat
there and said, like, well, ce J Stroud's gonna be
so bad because of this offensive line and it can
be pivotal, and we were just thinking in our heads like, well,

(15:55):
like Nico's just gonna get his at the end of
the day, He's just gonna get and sometimes it doesn't happen,
Like if you can't breathe back there, he's not gonna
get the ball out. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
I mean we're kind of seeing that with Justin Herbert
in the transformation from QJ the first few weeks to now,
just not being able to have time in the blocket
to get it, you know, launch it back there. Deep.
I'm willing to play Parker Washington. It does scare me,
just because this defense for Houston is legit. They're real.
I think the only thing you're hoping is Davis Mills
gives Jacksonville good field position a few times in this

(16:26):
game to kind of get them in close. Would you
rather play Tooton or Marx Marx? Yeah, I agree. Brian
Thomas Junior if he plays, are you putting them out there?

Speaker 2 (16:37):
He's missed practice again on Thursday. Yeah, okay, see that
Friday would have to be like limited. Like, I don't
mean I'm not a Briance Thomas Junior owner. I'm I
was kind of hoping I could be. I never got
the chance to draft him. I took like gen T
instead of him in a couple of their positions. I
don't I'm not in their shoes, but I'm gonna say no,

(16:58):
it's just been so bad. It's like he has been
a black mark on your roster at this point. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
I don't think it would hurt me if I watched
him go off on a bench, if for whatever reason
that happens. Just like the process is sound on this one.
What would we say the chech or Jacksonville is favorite
of one, so you're taking the for the win.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Houston's at home, and like, can they It comes down to,
like last week the Broncos won eighteen of fifteen, can
they basically keep Can they keep the Jacksonville Jaguars under
eighteen points? And Davis Mills kind of, you know, outscore it.
I'm gonna say yes, I think it's a possibility, Like
it's not you know what is true. We're six years in.

(17:40):
We still know what Trevor Lawrence is.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
I don't know. You gave so this many head coaches.
You get enough opportunities for us to make excuses for you,
so it's hard to tell.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Yeah, So I'm gonna say Houston's this game just because
they're at home. If Jacksonville been at home, I'd say Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Yeah, I agree. The payout would be better betting on Houston.
So I'm just gonna with that one.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Next up going to Miami, another divisional game, six and
two Bills taking on the two and seven Dolphins in
Miami fifty point over under. Buffalo is favored by nine
and a half. Can they hold it? I don't know.
Josh Allen, He's an easy play and We've got him
in our laps each and every week.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
What about Tua? Now, Buffalo kind of figured it out
against Kansas City, Like I feel like their defenses maybe
might start to hunt now with McDermott, I just still
rather not start to even if I had a you know,
like I know Mahomes is on a bias, like are
you picking up Tua? Are you gonna pick up? Trying
to think of another like ture Laura. I know, I

(18:41):
think it's start two over Trevor Lawrence. I'm trying to
think of the names that are just like right there
in that cusp of it, like JJ McCarthy would be.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
I'd play him. I'd definitely play him higher or higher
than Tua. Would you do Tua? Or Bryce Young?

Speaker 2 (18:56):
I think I do too, right. They're just such a
run first team and like the dump offs Devanny Chain
like Devana, you could take one to the house. Ricauez
is running the ball.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
It's it's pretty crazy the utilization that eight games getting
so far this year, which why you gotta play him.
You have to put him out there. I think he's
the only running back this year that hasn't had a
bust week. His worst finish is RB sixteen on the season.
He's had four of them, but he has not finished
below that. We know Bijon and JT both recently had one.
So he's been a stud. And James Cook when the

(19:27):
game script is right, he is absolutely crushing it. And
I imagine he's gonna have that game script he wants
this week.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, if everyone remembers last year, like I think, they
played like Thursday night and this Sameisax scenario and James
took like four rushing touchdowns against Buffalo and basically Josh
Allen was useless because he didn't know you to throw the football.
I mean, doesn't I mean, Mimi kind of has stopped
the run though, hasn't They In the past couple of weeks.
I feel like they've kind of figured that portion out.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yeah, it has gotten better. They did just trade away
Jalen Phillips. Yeah name, they just traded him away right
there at the trade deadline. Over actually, over the last
five weeks, they've really tightened up against wide receiver and
quarterback four and one against those. They're twenty eight against
running back.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Okay, so it's the run. You can run on them,
but you can't pass them, which is.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Yeah, I don't know they held Atlanta. It's only fourteen
running back points two weeks ago. But other than that,
it's been twenty points to Baltimore, thirty for Cleveland, and
twenty seven to the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Got you okay, I had it backwards there. I for
this game, it's Kasha Allen for me, James Cook, he
isn't leaving your lineup Devanney chains and leaving your lineup now.
Jihn Waddle is the only real wide receiver like I
don't feel comfortable enough to start like Khaluil Shakir. How
are you where you got with him?

Speaker 1 (20:34):
I'd rather flex Kincaid than Shakir.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Really, yes, Oh, I don't know about that one. That
one makes my butthole pucker a little bit.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
So it does, But so does play in uh Khluil Shakira,
I will say, though, unfortunately, Dalton Kincaid is literally be
hot and cold. I tightened one tight in eighteen three, twelve,
eight thirty one three. So if the pattern continues, this
is gonna be a dud game for him. So maybe
you want to go to uh, what's his name, Jackson Hall.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Maybe it's gonna.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Be a lot of game there. No, I just I don't.
I don't feel like I'm giving myself any upside. When
I play Shakir, I.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Can kind of see that he's got a very safe
floor and so like, had this game be against I
don't know, Mind is not a bad offense. It's just
just a bad team. So I guess that's where I'm
at with it. Yeah, I guess. But key on Coleman.
He's still rostered by the way I'm out, Like, I
just want to know.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Oh god, I don't. I mean, I guess I didn't. Actually,
I don't think I draft him. No, I didn't draft
him anywhere. Uh, ownership on sleeper is still seventy six percent.
That's way too high.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
That's kind of high.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah, way too high for a guy who's given you
one playable game. And it was the first game. So
it's not like he went off after four weeks like,
oh maybe I can still play. No, no, no, he has given
you dog shit since then. So yeah, key on Coleman, toodles.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, super surprise Buffalo and trade for wide receiver like
Kobe Myers. They should have they should have done that.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Trade or just another tight end point like come on, man,
let's get four of them out there. Let's go for
the smith. Just Buffalo get the nine and a half.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Yeah, I think they do.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
They should divisional game at home. So it makes you
kind of look at Dolphins a little bit. But yeah,
give me the Bills. They're hot right now.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
What's the weather in Buffalo?

Speaker 1 (22:21):
No? No, no, it's in Miami.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Oh, it's in Miami. I still see them beating my ten.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
I can too. And hey, for the first time, the
first time in a long time, the AFC Championship could
be going through Orchard Park. Like, yeah, Kansas City Chips,
Chiefs are gonna have to have the right scenario for
them to be hosting the AFC Championship, which it's been
a long time, Like there's been kids that don't even
know AFC Championships in any other building.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah, that's true, crazy stuff.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
All right, Next game, moving on Baltimore Minnesota. This one
should be good. It's the Purple People Leaders against the
other Purple People Leaders. Three and five, right, and take
it on the four and four Vikings forty eight and
a half over under. Baltimore's favored by four and a half.
It hurts me because I don't want either one of
these teams to get another loss because they've they've got
too many right now.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
I like both of them. I just don't believe in
JJ McCarthy. So that's where I'm at with that.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
So I'm still willing to give him time. We've only
seen what three games from him. I'm just a big critic.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I just you know, the fact that you can't throw
the left side is just such an alarming thing.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I mean, it can't throw the right so it all works.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
And I'm not on it, like, so it works, damn it?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Pad example, Yeah, exactly. Lamar is an easy start. JJ
McCarthy is a low end QB two for me, So
I imagine you're kind of right there.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, I mean twur JJ god so gross, uh, I
guess JJ just it's only because of and it's literally
only because of chaos.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Got him? Oh, running backs, Derrick Henry will put them
in our lineups, no problem there, Aaron Jones that you
feel good about that one. I mean practice Wednesday, we're
still waiting for the Thursday report.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
I think I think he had limited and I think
I saw I'm just yeah, I mean, at this point,
like running backs are you know, they're dying off left
and right. So if you have them kind of unless
you have other better options like him or Tyrone Tracy.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
I play Aaron Jones, Okay.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Aaron Jones, or we'll talk about the next day. Brees
Saul Oh Baltimore can't stop the run, so I.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Guess Aaron Jones, Briestall, they're going against Cleveland unless he
gets the work through the air, is going to struggle. Yeah,
give me Aaron Jones in that one.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Let me last one here, Traveon Henderson, who will probably
be starting again, or Aaron Jones.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
It's a question for me to as ask you. I've
got Henderson ranked higher, so I guess, I guess give
me Henderson.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Sounds like someone's rethinking the rankings over there.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Maybe I Hey, it's Thursday. I do quite an overhaul
from Thursday night to Sunday morning on my rankings, by
the way, number one ranking on running backs, folks, So
maybe we should be listening to what I'm going with here.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Hey, there we go.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Wide receivers, Justin Jefferson, Yes, yes, Jordan Addison.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
What did do last week? Remind me?

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Last week was his first dud since he's come back.
Two catches forty eight yards. He also got sixteen yards
on the ground. Prior to that, he got the touchdown
one hundred and twenty eight yards. Forty one yards in
a touchdown one hundred and fourteen yards. I'm going back
to it. He's just so explosive. They're finding ways to
get aim open. When we got JJ on the other field,
you know he's gonna slip by.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
I'm just I think it's I think it's a MacArthur
thing for me on him.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
I'm at Zay Flowers or Addison Jay Flowers. Yeah, it
was pretty easy thinking it through. I mean, do we
need to go Addison or Shakier?

Speaker 2 (26:03):
No, I actually I would say Shaki. Oh, I do
have him.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Kind of close to my rankings, if we're being honest,
Dobbs or Addison, Cobbs, Quentin Johnston or Edison.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Uh. Their chargers are playing who again to Pittsburgh? Ooh,
I might I might go Addison there.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Nice, nice, And then I'm not playing TJ. Howkinson like
I'm not. I know he scored a touchdown last year.
Last week He's still finished as tight end seventeen. So's
I'm sorry tighten eighteen even worse. Mark Andrews on the
other side, he's a high end touchdown guy. If you
need to play him, like, would you would pivot there
from Tucker Craft if you lost out on him?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Yeah? I picked him up in the league. I picked
him up and I picked up zach Ertz. I was
just you know, I didn't. I just happened. I put
in waived wires for both. I ended up getting both
for whatever reason. So I yeah, I'm I'm leaving Mark
Andrews that the tight end the touchdowns, you know, tickle
my fancy.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
If Harold Fannin plays, even though he's a little banged up,
would you play Fannin or Andrews? I'm gonna go Fanin
fanon nice. Who wins the game?

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Baltimore?

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, I knew you would, And I like Baltimore too
much not to pick him. But yeah, let's go Minnesota covers,
Minnesota covers. Actually take that back Covers, Yeah, yeah, take back.
Next up, Cleveland and New York. We could start the
time of a minute ago, because this will be a
quick one two and six Browns taking on the one
and seven Jets in New York. Cleveland's favored by two.

(27:34):
Started out Jets favored by two lines move four points
already thirty seven and a half point over under good quarterbacks.
You got anything nice to say? I don't.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I saw someone in my league starting fields because of
the bye and Jadeen Daniels report.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
I'm seeing twenty three hours ago, still unsure if Justin
Field is still unsure if he'll start.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
I think Field starts, Like I don't want to do
this dance. It's kind of crazy, but I think Field
starts this game, So okay.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I was gonna say, how, what is your feel on
Aaron Glenn? I was excited about him coming to New York.
I was really hopeful. What is you like? What you
where are you at with him right now? Boy?

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I think I told you in a couple episodes like
he never had a top defense in Detroit.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah, Weber were talking about that.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I was like, he just never Like maybe he's a
players coach. I don't really know. Like it's just really weird,
like they're doing the right thing. The Jets land just
because like they're tearing it down again and the last
time they had three first round picks. You know what
they did? Sauce, Garrett Wilson and Tremaine Johnson all really
good players. What do they just do they just straighte
away sauce for two first round picks, which they should.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Domine Johnson was on the trade block.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
He was in the trade block. I don't Garrett Wilson.
I don't think he's ever gonna moved. He's just so pivotlul.
He's just so good. Like they would even such a
haul to really consider it. Like the problem is though,
that this twenty twenty six classes is just not a
good quarterback class, and now you're gonna be entering another
rebuild year after that in hopes for twenty twenty seven
to be this you know, saving grace for quarterbacks. Like, yeah,

(29:10):
in twenty seven, the year, oh enough would be a
round for that. To be honest with you, I think
they give another bad season after that.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yeah, I kind of agree. Like I usually like cleaning
house when you're like ready to start actually with the
rebuild process and putting stuff together. I kind of like
cleaning house and just starting fresh. You know, look what
Chicago did. Why why did they keep him that last
year for Caleb's rookie year? All you did was set
Caleb back great bad habits on all these wonderful things

(29:37):
running backs Judkins and Breese Hall, they're gonna be in
your lineups, but you're starting them. Yeah, tempered expectations. I
guess with Breeze just depending on how they deploy him.
I have no idea how they're going to treat this guy.
He was opening, like Tuesday, he was tweeting up a storm.
So do they run him into the ground to get
the use out of him? Do they just kind of
like if.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
They didn't trade him for a fourth round pick to
the chief switch at I think, you know, the Chiefs
Commbey could offer a third That's another topic here. I
think he might get a contract offer in New York.
I generally think they might offer him a contract.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
I don't know if he wants to be there anymore,
and I fully think that he should.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Money makes you happy at the end of the day.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
I mean, you think so, but Le'Veon Bell came out
and said you wish he had never done it. So
I don't know. I'd love to see Breese not stay,
I think so.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I think Breece should definitely go somewhere else because I
think he's a good fantasy option when he's on the field.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
The only other two pieces we're talking about here are
Garrett Wilson and Harold Fannon, Like, so, Cedric Chillman's on
the radar, but you're not playing him this week?

Speaker 2 (30:41):
You just want to you, I guess like if you're
so like hurt, i'd pick him up and just kind
of like, well, maybe he might be Gabriel's number one option,
like you don't know, but like I'll take a gamble
on that because you just the team's so bad and
I don't do sugar standers start a game.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I don't know. Kevin Stefanski has kind of annoyed me
of how unless it's like from the upper brass that
he's getting this. It's kind of annoyed me how he's
handling this a bit. But oh, I.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Forgot Sehn Watson's winning one day window got activated to
I but not mistaken or it's activated next week or something.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Yeah, it's it's did you see the press conference with
Gabriel too? Like they have some like they're like, hey,
so we notice you don't throw the ball deep? Is
there a reason for that? And then they immediately go
to Jerry Judy. He's like, hey, do you think that
Gabriel can even see you down the field, Like do
you think that's why he's not throwing to you. I
feel bad for Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
This is just such a mess, and it's not there
like the fans doing because like ownership, trading all those
first rump picks for a quarterback who is going through
all that controversy, then giving a fully guaranteed contract on
top of that him being injured, drafting two quarterbacks in
the same class and it's just one being. It's just
it's a nightmare in Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
And it's so bad because I can they did the
rebuild great, They absolutely did it great, and I can
appreciate the fact that they pushed the chips and then
try to make a move. But the move y'all made
was the historic worst one of all time. Traded away
so much, gave away, like its epic proportions. Poor Cleveland. Yep,
But at this point it's kind of a bit so

(32:14):
like if they actually had a good team, I don't
know what they would do.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
I think they'd lose their mind.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Honestly, give me the Browns though.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, the Browns defense is better than just just lost
two pivotal guys, So yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
We might have three horrible defenses going forward. I'm excited
Next up, we have the what is it? Seven to Wow?
Seven to two Patriots taken on the six and two
bucks forty eight point over under Tampa Bay's favor but
two and a half Tom Brady revenge game, even though
he's not, I hope, I hope he's commentating this one.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Which why is Tampa favored in this game? Like, give
me a genuine reason why they're favored?

Speaker 1 (32:53):
Because Baker Mayfield is Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
He hasn't been Baker that the past two games, and
he has now the same weapons. Maybe maybe Buka is
back to being healthy. But this is a Patriots like trap.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
Patriots should win it. But I don't like betting against Baker,
so I'm just gonna not put money on this one
at all. I agree you run at quarterbacks, so I
want to play him both. I mean, obviously, Drake may
I want my lineup more than I want Baker in
my lineup. But I not a knock on Baker at all.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Baker Caleb Williams.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Ask me on Sunday. I think it's Caleb though. Okay,
running backs, Oh my god, Bucky still not back. So
Rashad White's making your lineup. Ramandre Stevenson looking for an
update on him not practicing it on Thursday. So it's Henderson.
I mean he didn't get a touchdown Jennings did. I
don't care. I'm still playing Henderson over Terrell Jenks.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
I think Henderson's gonna work the middle of the field
and when they get to the goal line, they're gonna
give the ball to Jennings.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
So you're hoping Henderson can score from ten plus yards.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Do you better help? Henderson's got the rock from thirty
yards out.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Yeah, wide receivers Abuka is an easy play for you.
Whether he's healthy or not. I don't know if he's playing, though,
I'm starting one hundred percent Stefan Diggs playing him.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yeah, you're happy about Stefan Diggs. He's been pretty productive.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
So he's been been like seventy eighty percent of what
I really hoped he'd be this year. Like, he hasn't
been the worst thing ever, but like.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
A bit for like Bulgit targets, you were really hoping
for that, and he hasn't been that. But he's also
made the most of his targets.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Though I didn't see Drake May evolving this well through
the passing game, like being able to, you know, dissect
a defense and throw to the right guy hamstring injury.
I to tell you I found his discord.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
No, he has his own.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, I was looking for a Booty discord and I
found this one. Unfortunately, but he has his own discord,
and he actually posted about after his MRI that there's
a chance he could play this week. He is still
sidelined for practice again today, so unless he goes out
there and gives a full one tomorrow, I don't know.
But like, that's just.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
If you would have said, is there a Kaishan Boody discard?
I would have said, that's such a niche thing. I
have no words.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Yeah, I didn't believe it it existed either, and I
stumbled up on it.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I think canny scaring me, Like look at a buka
he played through it. It wasn't good. I'm probably gonna.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Not hidn't see Booty makes his magic downfield running really fast,
So like, yeah, it does scare the hell out of me.
If anything, I'm probably finally taking his under if he
does go out there Hunter Henry kay Aughton Caton, Yes,
I'd rather go Theo Johnson.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
It's just I don't think that they have no other
real options. It's a problem with Tampa is that they
just have like Buka and Tedz Johnson. Kate's a featured
guy like he Baker trusts Kate Auten.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
You know what his best week is this year? What
tight end fourteen? Hey, I just I don't know. We
talk often about. Oh, they're all injured. He's the only
one left. I where is the consistent work there? Caid? Yeah,
I'll pivot away. I don't. I don't think he's a
horrible play, but it's just doesn't interest me at all. Yeah,

(36:15):
who wins it? We both go to England.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
New England should win this game. It doesn't make sense
why their favored, to be honest with.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
You, Yeah, money's on New England or the winning money's
on New England. I'm going to go that way. Next up,
another divisional battle. Look at this three and five Cardinals
take it on these six and two Seahawks forty five
forty five and a half point over under. Seattle's favored
by six and a half. Line hasn't moved, so I
guess they projected Brissett to be starting regardless on this one.

(36:43):
But Kyler Murray on ir He's got four weeks of
call of duty ahead of him. How do you feel
about these qbs.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
I'm gonna ask you a question. Notice Kyler Murray play
a snap next year for Arizona.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Next year, I don't think so. This year there's a chance,
but I don't think he'll be on this team next year.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
I don't think he plays another snap for Arizona after
these comments. To be honest with you, I.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Wouldn't think so. But like, if Brissette goes down, I
guess would be the only you know, like that's the
only reason we wouldn't want to hard lock it. But
next year, I don't.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
I don't think it happens.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
They gotta move on.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Yeah, I'm Sam Donald's the must start.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
It's yeah crazy, Yeah, definitely, he's a decent floor without
the rushing, but he's just throwing the ball at an
insane level, just throwing it deep down the field and
he just got another toy to play with.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah, it's Sam Donald's a must start Arizona side. Though.
It's uh, they're facing a really good defense, so I'm
kind of out. I was gonna say, what these wrongbacks?

Speaker 1 (37:42):
You got Team Mercado Bam Knight, and then ken Walker
and Sharp and A rank them for me.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
No, Trey Benson, right, I don't think. I think you
and I are in the same boat. Trey Bent's not
playing this week.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Yeah he's I don't think everything I've seen it doesn't
look like he's back this week.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
So what's it called? So Bam Knight has more snaps
but not but I Riccardo has more touches, which is weird.
Ken Walker is the better back but doesn't get the
goal line touches. Like, Uh, flip a four sided coin
and I bet you a year, right, I don't know.
I genuinely I'll rank it here. I got you. Uh.

(38:17):
I think it's gonna go ken Walker, yep, Sharbone, Bam Knight, Demarccado.
That's probably why.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
I think I go Walker, de Mercadobone, Bam Knight, Yeah,
de Mercado. It's just the game script. You knows, like
to throw it off. Maybe there's a chance there, But
Marvin Harrison will play js N.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I'll play yeah, well yeah, Jason doesn't leave her line up. Jason,
you don't trade ever. I tried trading. I tried trading
Jamar Chase with the JSN owner, he said, you kick
Rocks Clo.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
Even after Jamar Chase's gameplay he's had. That's pretty wild.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I was like, because he's on a bye and I'm
just like he can and the guy is in first
place and I need him. I was like, I'll give
you Jamar Chase for JSN and I was an offer
for Chupa Hubbar because he has Rico Dwell too. I
was like, I will give you the insurance.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
He said no, yeah, yeah, So you're just standing there
with the bloody toe. Rashi shat are you you playing him?

Speaker 2 (39:10):
No? No, he knows the offense of playbooks, so it's
not gonna be a snap count thing. It's just I
don't like Tory Harden's playing playing really well. So like
I it's tough. The Seattle offense is just JSN, well
Sam Darnold JSN and then just pick a poison.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, Rashichi heat. I want to own him. I want
to make sure he's on off the waiver wire, but
I'll be betting on him. We'll talk about that tomorrow though.
And then McBride, Yeah, McBride obviously a j Barner, a royal.
I think they're both talented, but they're kind of doing
the same thing that sharbon A and ken Walker doing
to each other.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
It's annoying you don't you don't know which one you're
gonna start, and you're gonna be upset with the other.
One goes off and you started the other. I would
say the safer BET's barner than.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
Arroyo right now, especially with him going in there on
the toush push. That was pretty nice. Not for ken
Walker though. Next up another Oh who wins it?

Speaker 2 (40:02):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Oh Seattle, Yeah, he's easy. Next up we have the
uh six and two Rams take it on the six
and three niners for the division forty nine and well,
I guess not with the Seahawks by where they're six
and two forty nine and a half points over under.
The Rams are favored by four and a half. In
this one is rock Party playing.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Rockberdy is playing.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
From my understanding, it's he's limited Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
I just think they're being really, really cautious with him.
I thought I could have sworn. I thought, again, this
is coming from you know, one of the worst head
coaches to ever hear from media. He said that Rockberdy
was going to play.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
I thought, I hope so. But they're sitting at six
and three. I know it's a divisional game, but they
could take another loss if they had to.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I don't know if they can though that division is
so tight with Seattle coming up. I really don't know
if they can do that. It is.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
I think it's just me leaning into their schedule. Like
they've got Carolina, Cleveland, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Chicago, Seattle. They got
some pretty winnable games in there. But they need Brock
Party back and healthy because they're not making a run
at all without him.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
I feel like Brock Party is positive for George Kittle.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
A hundred. This is what I'm waiting to play the
pass catchers is because I want Rock Party back. Am
I playing him this week? He's like a mid GB
two for me?

Speaker 2 (41:16):
I don't. I mean, And I've said before, Shanahan has
mcmay's number in the regular season, which doesn't make them
wild like wild, he owns him in the regular season
with a playoff time, it's yeah, it's vice versa. So I
this is I like, look at this game like all
the ram should win, but I forget for whatever reason,
mcveige is just not do well against Shanahan regular season.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
So you're playing Stafford, then.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Stafford's on a heater. Man, you kind of have to.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Yep, but you're just that hesitancy right there. As much
of a heater is on. That's how much that Shanahan
gets underneath these rams in the regular season.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Christian McCaffrey like, move on, we know.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Uh. Karon Williams disappointingly has been disappointing this year, but
he is still a great tie in RB too low
and RB one.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
Yep, it's it's a snap count. He's on the field
a lot. It just hasn't been productive unless you have
better options. I highly doubt it.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
Three rushing touchdowns on the season, dude, McVeigh, you need
to kicks. Come on, man.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
Yeah, well, because Stafford's just throwing a bunch. That's why
he has two really good receiving options, so I don't
blame him. Like last year, it wasn't the same, but
they just kept pounding the rocks. So it's kind of
different now players I'm pounding. It's gonna be Nikoua and
Adams and Kittle. How do we look at the rest
of them, Like Jenny Pearson, Dude, where's Ricky Little Ricky?

(42:35):
Is he gonna play is he he saw he's practicing.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
Right limited sidelined to practice on Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
All right, so we're out again. Fucking Ricky Man, I
guess you're starting Jawan if you have no other choice.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
I'll play if if Party is the quarterback, I'll play Jennings.
If he's not, I'm okay sitting all the wide receivers
for this team.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
I don't know, like for whatever reason, if if it's,
if it is Mac, I just have an inkling to
want to start Finders Born.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
I mean, last last three weeks two for thirty four,
three for forty four, two for fourteen, they've had some
rough defenses in there, you know, the Giants, Houston, Atlanta
this close to this part of the season though, I
just don't know if I want to trust him.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Or Mac Jones. Yah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
Wow. So who are we taking LA four and a
half point favorite San Francisco money line.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
I'm gonna take the points for San Francisco for sure.
I mean the Rams, Like, I'll say the Rams win,
but the San FRANCU covers the spread.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
I will be betting San Francisco money line just because
it's gonna be good. But yeah, let me get the Rams,
Rams win, but points who knows? All right? Three games left?
Here we go, going to Washington. This one's it's gonna
be fun anymore. Five and three lines taken on the
three and six Commanders in Washington forty eight and a
half point over under Detroit's face by eight lines actually

(44:01):
moved from eight and a half to eight.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
They were eight and a half point favors last week
and got themselves a loss. Doubt that happens this week.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Though Washington was a very poorly constructed team. I think
them losing Jaden, they still own their they still own
their draft capitol, which is good for them. Are I
guess the question is, like I feel pretty comfortable starting
golf from this game. I feel like it's like they're
just Washington's just such a bad defense. You can kind
of do whatever you want with them. Are you gonna

(44:30):
start Mariota? Though?

Speaker 1 (44:33):
I I'm having to in several super flex leagues, But like,
I've got them at QB sixteen right now, I'd play
right now. I've got JJ McCarthy ranked above him, Jordan
loves Sam Donold, Matthew Stafford golf, I don't think you
have I.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Think it's start Mariota over Love. Out of all those names,
I think that's only one I'm.

Speaker 1 (44:50):
Like against Philly, I could see that.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
Yeah, that's where I'm kind of at with that.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
So but justin fields are Marcus Mariota.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
Marcus Mariota, dang it.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
For running backs? I I mean, it just gives him Monty.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
Yeah, Bill, I can't start any of the Washington guys.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Yeah, it's I think I think we're done with this.

Speaker 2 (45:15):
Yeah, you can retire that one now.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Sadly, I'm gonna keep it in case we get another
Bill in the league somewhere. Yeah, I think that one's done. Unfortunately,
what else we got wide receivers? I'm on raw absolutely, Deebo.
I feel pretty good about Debo.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
I feel pretty good about Depot because nol McLaurin right correct.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Yeah, he's dust at this point.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
Dude, what a bad, bad pick. We'll be talking about
him in the Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Uh, Jamison Williams, I think he's probably got to be
the biggest question mark for people here. They just came
out and said or the OT came out and said
that they want to get Tesla the exact same quote
that they said last week about Jmo now they want
to get Teslaw more involved. So maybe not one target,
maybe two targets any games.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
What they're thinking, I'm still starting to like again, like
guys like Dan Campbell just will pound the ball no
matter what. They don't care about the score. They're not
gonna play safe when they're up by twenty They'll be
up by twenty seven if they need to be. So yeah,
I'm gonna start Jamo. I like guys like that where
they just they'll keep playing till the till the whistle blows.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
I definitely rather reflex Sam Laporta than Jamison Williams. Probably
not gonna run into those type of situations. I guess
it was just like if you have to play one
of the other, I want to play Laporta before I
play Jamo.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
But what is Laporta in the year with Titan? Is
he tighten what.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
He's been pretty good? Tightened seven last four weeks? So
tight in four thirty six, four and four?

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Oh yeah, yeah, not too shabby, shabby?

Speaker 1 (46:46):
Noise anything else in this game? Who wins it?

Speaker 2 (46:49):
No Ertz? Right, you're not starting Ertz with Mariota.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Him and Mariota have not been connecting at all, Like
his worst games have been with Mariota this year. It's
he gets a touchdown. You know you'd be happy, but
I just I don't feel comfortable with it at all.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Okay, yeah, yeah, it's Detroit for me. I don't know
about the point so is because it's in Washington, right.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
It's in Washington. I like Detroit, like they need a
bounce back game after that that showing last week. Dan
Campbell takes these teams personal.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
I actually, you know, I'll take the eight and a
half from Detroit.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
Nice Sunday night football. Here we come this one. This
one should be a good one, hopefully depending on which
Pittsburgh team shows up, hopefully not the one that showed
up last week.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Last week, Holy crap, all right, Peter Herbert.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Right, five and three Steelers take it on the six
and three Chargers. It's a forty four and a half
point over under Chargers favored by three in this one, Herbie,
he is fully loaded. And am I lineup?

Speaker 2 (47:47):
Yeah? I mean, Herbert's just been so good. He's running
for his life, so he's getting more rushing attempts. So yeah,
Herbert's not leaving your lineup.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
I believe he is the number one quarterback in rushing on.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
The year, that's insane.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
Three hundred and five yards maybe second, but yeah, I
am definitely putting him in my line up. Aaron Rodgers, No,
not that bad. We're not hurting that bad. Let's talk
about these running backs, because the Pittsburgh side. I like
the running back so much more. Jalen Warren. I just
he's been great. He's been great. All the Warren truthers.

(48:22):
Finally they can come out. He's been good this year,
last few weeks seven, twenty seven, ten twenty four. Got
a great schedule ahead of him. I mean to play
Cincinnati next week, let's go.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
I just tried trading for my trade offing Omarin Hampton
to the owner and he said, no.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Maybe after this game, maybe after this one.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Maybe.

Speaker 1 (48:40):
Are you playing a votel?

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Yeah, I mean he's the lead back. He's gonna get
the touches. It's it's a flex play. I feel pretty
comfortable about a flex play.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
He's also been a Dalton Kincaid every other game RB
eight thirty three, seven forty four, So pattern says, playing yeah,
top ten A wide receiver. DK metcalf is the obvious
start over there for Pittsburgh. Are you going to any
other pass catcher, whether it be Calvin Austiner, any of
the tight ends? No, what about what about the Chargers?

(49:13):
We got four players in play right now, Yeah, we do.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
God, it's crazy to say Gatston. I think you might
have put Gatson one.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
He's the safe player at this point. Yeah, Like it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
So Gatson's one, How are you ranking the other three?

Speaker 1 (49:31):
I think it's lad keenan QJ that's usually going to
pick every week. But I just think it's the safest,
Like looking at the numbers wise, like that's that's where
enough to put my bet.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Yeah, what's crazy about this game is that it's showing
the Chargers favored by three. But if you were to
go to this game, it's so far, you will see
so much black and yellow. It will it like there's
teams that just travel very well, and I get it.
There's a laughing stock for the Chargers not having fans.
Sam Francisco travels well with so does Pittsburgh. They're gonna
that that will be a home game for the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Yeah, they're one of those, like them the Patriots in
Green Bay. I guess Dallas to all four of those franchises,
just like historically. They got fans all over the country.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
It's obnoxious. You can't walk into a building without running
into at least one of those four.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
So yeah, I got Gadsden lad, Keenan QJ. Would you have?

Speaker 2 (50:24):
I'm about the same. It's hard. It's hard to change
Keenan or QJ. So I'm on the same boat.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
Keenan mid He's been a dud the last couple of weeks,
just forty yards in both of those games. So I
small come back. It should be a Keenan game.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (50:38):
Who's winning it?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Pittsburgh. It's a home game.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
Well it's in LA, but a home game for steel
It's a.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
Home game for Pittsburgh. I'm sorry, oh Man and Herbie.

Speaker 1 (50:50):
We trust. I'm gonna take I'm gonna take the Chargers.
They've been sneaking them out. It's it's not been great,
but I'm gonna take them. Nope, all right, guys, last one.
It's Monday Night Football. Six and two Eagles take it
on the five two and one Packers. Coming off that
loss to the Panthers last week, forty five points over under,

(51:10):
Green Bay's favored by two. Talked to me about quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Well, Chillen Hurts is obviously an auto start. He I
someone who owned him last week and I had to
pick up Tabor Lawrence's start. That was not fun. Don't
want to do that again, I Jordan loves I don't again.
Like we've been talking about this entire show, I don't
really want to start him. To be honest with you,
I kind of want to pivot away from him.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Yeah, yeah, he is not in my top twelve. I
got twelve other guys I like ahead of him. He
is in that glom of Jaji McCarthy, Mariota Brissette Fields. Yeah,
it gets in real quick, it gets I don't like him,
but he is at QB thirteen for me.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
No, and I agree he should be. It's just the
option like him. Losing Tucker Craft just sucks. Like that's
just the biggest blow at all this if they had
took a Craft, like I can kind of see love.
But like now you're gonna rely on Dobbs must Grave,
Matthew Golden Williams.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Christian Watson. Come on, man, how did you not name
that first? I get you gotta build it up, built
up running backs though, I mean it's gonna be Barkley
and Jacobs easily. Both these guys are just, you know,
studs of the team. Bigsby, you want to have him
picked up, especially if you're the Barkley owner. He seems
like he is the parent talking about these wide receivers though.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
Well, let's start with the Philly side.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
Yeah, A J.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
Brown and DeVonta and Devanta Smither starts for me. I
don't care. I think it's you've you went on a
bye last week. You're probably hurting like I was. I'm
starting A J. Brown pretty comfortably. I'm starting DeVonta Smith
pretty comfortably as well.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
I would sit A J. Brown for DeVonta Smith.

Speaker 2 (52:57):
I've got him.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
I just have him ranked back back to back. I've
got DeVonta Smith one spot higher and A J.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
Brown.

Speaker 1 (53:02):
I don't know, it just felt right. It felt right
this week. But I've got him at fifteen and sixteen.
So both these guys are easy plays for me.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
On the other side, so we're looking ass. So getting
Tucker Craft out for the season. So Luke Busgrave, I
think he has a pivot option. Maybe not in this game, though,
I really wanted to pick him up everywhere but I
was kind of hesitant just because this game doesn't look
pretty for him. Dobbs, Watson, Golden, Wicks, Savion.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
I think for me, it's goes Dobbs, Watson out and
then saveon they've been using.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
I feel like I really like him the amount of
Dynasty Leagues I picked him up because he wasn't even drafted.
Very big, very fast player. He takes snaps out of
the backfield a little bit. He's gotten to carry in
all but two games this season. I don't know if
I want to play him though, in this.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
Game playing him? No, No, The only guys that consider
playing are Dobbs and Watson, Okay, same, same, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
And then there's the tier break and then there's the
Savion Golden, but those guys really don't maybe owned unless
you're filling it.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
You still are you still owning Golden.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
If I had shares? Probably not. Okay that he's been
on a couple of waiver wires in like ten team
leagues and it's been tempting, but I haven't found the
need to need to pull the trigger.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
Last question, what is Dallas Goddard tight end? What is
he tight end? What four on the air? Right?

Speaker 1 (54:24):
I think he's six right now, but it's probably coming
off the bye week. Crazy yeah, it's it's been unreal
over the last what was it. He is a touchdown whore,
literally seven touchdowns in six weeks for him, crazy yeah,
I know, yeah in one of those games one yeah, shoot,

(54:44):
crazy yeah. Dallas Goddard, he's definitely in for me until
they figure out how to run this offense properly, he
is going to be heavily involved. Not that he shouldn't,
it's just not as much as he should or he is.
The point there, he's.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
Stilling touchdowns away from like A J. Brown and stuff like.
It's weird even sake one Barkley's go when Barkley sucks
right now because of Goddard.

Speaker 1 (55:02):
God, it's ridiculous. The stats I was dropping on the
tight ends. Yeah, that's that's kind of why. Because he's
ruining in on the season. Green Bay is favored by
two I Philly.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
Philly hasn't been. Philly has been bad like the like
I haven't like watched a game where I'm like, yeah,
they've been. They were good through and through of this game.
So I'm I'm gonna pick Philly. I don't know why
I'm out on Maybe I'm out on Green Bay A
for losing craft and this is a game for them
to tell me to go pound sand.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
Packers just haven't seen like a real team. And then
I kept saying that they were five to one one
going into last week. So finally seeing that game last week,
I was like, all right, this is what I was expecting,
Like they could just drop a game they absolutely shouldn't.
Eagles definitely can two. Packers are just decimated on offense.
If the Eagles can get it together and all, I
just don't think the Packers can keep up. So it's

(55:54):
one hundred percent the can they keep the Eagles below
twenty one? But give me Packers if you're taking eels yoo, direspect.
We're covering our bets here. That way we can say
we were right. We don't have to say who was wrong,
but exactly. We get every pick right here, folks, That's

(56:16):
how we do it. Awesome, Brennan, What do you have
for the people?

Speaker 2 (56:22):
I've got a whole lot of nothing here, man. Gamble responsibly,
of course, and win it out Thursday out.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
Yep, thirteen games in the books.

Speaker 2 (56:32):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customersβ€”who have become friendsβ€”to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. β€œFoods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso CuarΓ³n, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
