Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yo, what's happening to everybody? We're back with another episode
of too Much Fantasy Football. It's props day here. We're
going through the game picks, the props, the survivor, and
you know, I'm here barely made it fresh up with shower,
had to wash off the stank of last night. How
you doing today? Man?
Speaker 2 (00:33):
I'm just thinking like how upset Trivion Henderson owners are
going to be when we're Mandre Stevenson comes back.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I wasn't ninety percent of the work last night? Does
it drop back to a fifty to fifty split.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
My buddy, who's an avid gambler, was telling me that
the Jennings picks were all voided because of his non usage.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Some booty. Yeah, Jennings did nothing. It was Darness Johnson
that was the other one who got three carries for
six yards. Henderson put on the show nineteen carries sixty
two yards, two touchdowns, five receptions for thirty one yards
and a touchdown the lone bright spot. I guess stuff
on Diggs as well.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Maybe, and like Drake May too. Drake May had a
really good game. It was like just as a quarterback
Fantasy wise, it was you know, he left them on
the table. It just sucks his Travion took all the touchdowns.
But like Drake May just like what you watching him
plays like, yeah, he's he's really good.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, poor Patriots fans, they had to wait so long
to get their franchise.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Corter, I get it. I get it. The cults of
the same thing with Peyton and to Andrew Luck. But
like this is annoying. I now know how they feel.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
You see the report about Brady like doing his uh
or cloning himself twenty three years ago in some lab
in like North Carolina or whatever, and like Drake May's
twenty three years old came from North Carolina. Hmmmmmm yeah
this I mean it sounds right. This is everything that
Tom Brady wished he could have been as a quarterback,
just with the mob.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, he's better than Tom Brady, like in this unlike
if quarterback to quarterback, he's been accurate. He and then
he gets out of the pocket and runs when he
needs to, Like he's just a very smart quarterback. And
it's very annoying.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, we don't show pictures of Drake May's combine photos
and laugh at it. You know, this is everything that
Tom Brady wished he could have done Patri's sitting at
nine and two. At this point, Jets a mere two
and eight. Justin Fields went out there, had a good
fantasy day, one hundred and sixteen yards through the air,
though sixty seven on the ground, a couple of touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, I mean, you and I were talking about it,
said it. It's just like he had a better fantasy
output game than Drake May. But he is so much
worse as a quarterback, so.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Much he's not even a quarterback, Like he's just not
he's playing wildcat. It's it's literally just the running back
out there playing wildcat. It's it's dumb. It's absolutely dumb.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
He you know, since he's entered the league, he leads
league in fumbles at forty one. Like I don't think
it's fumbles loss, but like still fumbling the football times
is a lot in your five year career, six year career.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Well yeah, I mean his passes are so bad that
not even the offense or the defense, so like he
doesn't throw a lot of picks because of that, but
that's because nobody can catch those balls. Brisall just see
it too.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
He's like a second late in his thought process, like
he should get rid of the football or take off
like it's a second earlier.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
It's Ohio State. You know, they're worried about the football
and not the classes brisall decent day. Seven points is
what he ended with. Fifty eight yards on the ground,
six through the air. Stefan Diggs over one hundred yards
one hundred and five on nine catches. John Metchi, nobody's
playing him forty five yards in a touchdown. But that's
really all we can take away from this game.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah, that's I mean, I think that's what the Jets
are gonna because Garrett Wilson's done now for four more weeks.
Like you're in this thought process of like can I
maybe bank on Mason Taylor? Like do you want to
do that if Tyron's out there?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, I just it's because like Breese Hall last night,
I think that's the epitome of like that's what he's
going to be. And you better hope he gets a
touchdown because he ended the game with what seven points?
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, seven and a half points, just mediocre performance.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
He got like forty yards thirty yards receiving a couple
of receptions. Like, but it's just and you need a touchdown.
You need to touch on for Breese Hall to just
make it a viable week for you.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah. Absolutely gross. I distortimental league and looking at my
bench too him, Like I totally could have pivoted. I
did not have to play him with a Thursday game.
It made me fear. I was like, let me just
go ahead and put him in the lineup. We'll figure
out the rest later. Nope, swinging a miss, swinging and
a miss.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Question for you, Breese haller DeAndre Swift? Rest of the season?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Who Andre Swift?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Okay, I think I think.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'd have to check the rest of like rest of
the season like schedule. That might be the decision. But like, yeah,
it's not. There's nothing inspiring about playing a Jets player
right now.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yep, it's gross.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
You're taking Swift too?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, I think so? Really healthy Rody.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Alright, let's get into these props, folks. We've been crushing
it on quite the hot streak. I mean, I don't
think we've had a single week where we've been under
fifty percent together. It's been good. We're gonna keep that
train rolling. Brent's popping up with seven picks this week, folks,
We're ready, He's got them ready, I've got I got
twelve because I just I can't stop, want to stop here,
but we got quite a few for you. We're gonna
(05:28):
go through these. We got the game picks after that.
And of course, if you're still in the survivor pool,
somebody's gonna help you. It's not me, it's just Himah,
let's go ahead and start off with my first one.
I'm gonna double dip here just because I do have more,
and I've got one in the same game or two
guys in the same game. I'm gonna go with George
Kittle over forty five and a half receiving yards. We
(05:49):
saw him last week. It looks like he has made
it through that injury. It's looking so much better. So
I'm taking that over. And then our boy rick at
Piers saw he's finally back ready to be out there
on the field. There were forty one and a half
receiving yards. This one just seems so incredibly low for
a guy who was leading the NFL in receiving yards
through the first few weeks. Taking the over on both.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
I like the obviously, I like the Ricky one the most,
just because you know I talked about it. I was like, oh, like,
what's his line? Because you said like, oh, I'm taking
this one, so don't think about it. And I was like,
I played the game of am I better than the Vegas?
And I lost, of course, because I thought it would
be like forty five and then I saw four and
you said forty one.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
I was like, m I like the over, yeah, yeah,
taking the over on them both. What's your first one
for us?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
My first one is Bijon over seventy three and a
half rushing yards. He did it last week. He didn't
get the touchdown. He's been bad in fantasy, but in
Pierre just being a running back, he is actually very
very good. Like obviously his first game was not great.
He did it all in receiving I think one hundred
forty three seventy two seventy five hundred and seventy. They
hit the game the bad game skit, but I think
(06:57):
I think Raheem Morris knows like his app is on
the line and they need to fix something. And like
you saw what they did when they just ran the football,
just not alone with Bijon but also with Algier and
they scored a touchdown. Very quickly. I think they realized
this team. He's the air run for his team, and
I'm gonna bank on that thought process.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, I like it. I'm gonna tag I'm gonna double
dip on that one. I've got Bijeon as well, but
I'm going over thirty seven and a half receiving yards.
I see the world where this guy is going to be.
I mean, so he doesn't get the touchdown, Oh well,
that's not what we're betting on here. Bijeon has been
incredible through the air though, so I'm gonna I'm gonna
kind of tail that a bit with his receiving at
thirty seven and a half.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
One, two, three, four five. He's five times this year,
so good chances he'll repeat.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Michael Pennix really just likes to throw to him and
Drake London. It seems like that's about it.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
I mean I would also do that as well. So
my next one, it's, uh, it's kind of chalky, but
I just I think it's gonna happen. I just think
the team is still no matter what. Even dan Quinn
calling defense, I mean, he might make it a little
more aggressive for Tua, but I'm gonna take two over
one and a half passing touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I just.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
I think they're gonna again McDaniel. McDaniel's is a great
offensive mind, and you know when he gets things humming
like he's Tua has been been, I guess I would
say horrific. He's been Okay's and I expect him just
to be okay in this game.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
I really like this one. As soon as you had
it popped up there, I was like, Damn, I can't
believe I missed it.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Love this.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
I'll definitely be tailing. I'm all over you know, e
chan waddle to of props. Honestly, Mariota too, Like I
keep creeping Mariota into up my quarterback ranks this week,
so I'm trying to trying to pull back a little
bit and I'll go too wild. Love that though. My
next two, because the're in the same game. I'm gonna
take a couple of backup running backs here. We got
(08:49):
the Packers playing the Giants. I'm gonna take Devin Singletary
over eighteen and a half rushing yards. It's not a
great line, but it's because it's a great defense. But
I think we find the way just to get over
that Mark and then I'm gonna take Emmanuel Wilson the
backup running back to Josh Jacobs. I'm gonna take his
over sixteen and a half rushing yards. Josh Jacobs cannot
be the motor for this team the entire time. They
(09:10):
need to spell them a bit, and Giants are the
second worst at defending the runs. So I think that
sixteen and a half could come on a mere two
rushes for him.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
So you're telling me Josh Jacobs is gonna have a
good game.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
It's hard to see the wide receivers having a great
game the way they've been. This team is just so
five three and one.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
The one that just scares me, Like, I like the
A Wilson one. I think that can hit the singletary one.
I just I think you and I just both hate
that backfield. Yeah, it's just like do you really want to? Like?
It feels gross just putting money on that BACKFLD Like
I feel gross just putting it on Tyrone Tracy.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I kind of had to do this to keep myself
from betting on Jameis Winston because initials, all right, what
can I bet on with Jamis? I'm like, no, maybe,
maybe not. Let's let's try and pick a part of
this backfield, because hopefully they don't put Jamis in that
position where he just had to go wheel it and
deal it. You know, hopefully they try to establish the run.
They won't be able to, but go give it an
attempt there and this will wait. This will be the
first no day ball. So maybe get the coach firing
(10:11):
bump on this one too.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, I do see that. So it's funny enough that
you mentioned with Emmanue Wilson's and it leads into my pick.
It's Josh Jacobs over two and a half receptions. He
has done this one, two, three, four or five six times.
I just losing tuger craft. I think they just utilize
them more. And I think this is like the easy one,
like a slam dunk, no no shit pick.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
This is the smarter play. I think I've picked Josh
Jacobs over on his receiving yards three or four times
this year, and that one doesn't always come to fruition.
It's usually about fifteen yards. Three of the last four
he's had thirteen twelve three receiving yards. He had a
thirty three, fifty seven, seventy one, forty four in there
but like the receptions are always there, it's just do
the yards follow. So I think this is the smarter play,
(10:56):
the better way to make sure you take advantage of
the receiving. He's clearly a part of I agree, And
oh my gosh, I didn't realize I had three from
this game myself as well as one. So I'm gonna
go ahead and take my last one from this game.
Can't stop, won't stop Christian Watson. I won't apologize. I'm
leaning into it, like bumping up the yards. Finally, he's
(11:17):
away up from thirty five this past week, he's at
forty and a half yards. Look, folks, it's like one
catch for him, maybe two catches. If you DraftKings, let
me parlay his longest catch. I probably would have put
that in there. But I want to get this where
I can stack it up a little bit on some
of these. So give me Christian Watson over forty and
a half yards.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, it's annoying because he just needs, really, I would say,
like two catches, and he has this because they all
have like a one long one and then like a
one intermediate one. That's kind of it.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
So he's hit this line every game since he's come.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Back, Yeah, because what does he have? Like he's I
feel like he's had way more than like fifty plus
each game, right.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Forty five, fifty eight and eighty five on two to
two and four catches.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Yep, sounds good, sounds like I'm in.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Nice. What you got next?
Speaker 2 (12:05):
My next one? It is justin Jefferson over seventy three
yards receiving. I think everyone's just everyone's out on this
bad game. He usually is like an eighty one yard
type of player. It's like the same thing when I
see them, you know, lower it down because the Jamar
Chase had a bad week and again he comes and
crushes it. I just think he's had a two games
(12:25):
where it's back to back stinkers. But other than that,
he's hit the over seventy line. It looks like every
game but three games this season. So I'll take my
chances that he does what he usually does.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
And I'm gonna impulsively add one to my list out
of this game because I talked about how bad Chicago is,
especially against the receiving. The guy that runs out of
the slot that is Jalen Naylor. I know he had
the huge game last week, so I'm trying not to
be just chasing the points here, but it's only twenty
two and a half receiving yards. I'm gonna take it.
I'm gonna add this one on the year. Give me
a thirteenth prop for the week.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
You're disgusting.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
I know, no, I've got a problem, got a problem,
but my account keeps going up, so I can't can't
stop my next one here. It is the same game,
it's the same backfield. It's it's weird because I've been
propping up one guy all year long and have been
crapping on the other. But what he marks is at
(13:22):
sixty and a half rushing yards Cuba or Cuba. Nick
Chubb is at thirty and a half yards. Taking the
under on Marx. I'm taking the over on Nick Chubb.
I mean he got so much work what he Marx
did last week. This game should be a one that
they hold on to pretty well. They can handle it well.
I think they try to lean on Chubb a bit more.
(13:43):
Marx just isn't a guy that he's not a three
down back. You know, you can't lean on him for
a full season on that. So just on the game
script that I like that I kind of have built
out give me the under on Marks and over on Chubb.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
I can kind of see your methods to the madness.
But I can also see it as a team that
understands he has this player for four years of control
and just can run them to the ground until it
starts to be in a problem. So that's where I'm
at with it, because again, like Mars has looked good,
he hasn't been he got I think he got like
dinged up in a game, but he's been pretty healthy
(14:17):
for the most part. So I can see that, and
like Nick Chubb is just ass Yeah, it's not good.
It's just not good. But like you got to give
respect to the name.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Yeah, it's I mean he's hit this mark in uh.
Nick Chubb has in all three of the last three
games forty seven, thirty four, fifty six And this is
with snap percentages of thirteen, thirty six and forty four,
and he.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Still has it and we're just he just doesn't look
like it's old. So I don't know, like it's just
weird because he's hitting them. He's like on less snaps,
like not that bad.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yeah, And it's one of those like when he's getting five, eleven,
seventeen touches. It's enough, you know, it's enough to hit
this me thirty yards and then yeah, what are he marks?
Sixty sixty can be a lot unless he breaks one off.
So yeah, I got them both there. What's your next one?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
My next one is I have a J. Brown. I'm
gonna I'm gonna go against him. I get it. It's
been bad. It's been so bad. Sixty three yards though,
like when he has a game and I expected him
to have a game, he's been eighty one hundred and
(15:30):
twenty one and one hundred and nine. After that, it's
been forty three seven, twenty seven, eight and thirteen. It's
been God, it's so bad. But I'm gonna take the over.
I just I think Gillen Hurts is going to read
a fortune cookie and it's gonna say a J. Brown
feed me get.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
You want another ring?
Speaker 2 (15:49):
You gotta feedture boy seriously nice.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
My next one is uh Khalil Khalil Shakir uh Dalton
Kink looks like he's gonna miss this game. Potentially could
be a decent shootout here between the Bills and the Bucks,
both of them coming off with loss. They really want
that win. Bills are at home, skeearers out forty four
and a half yards. I'm gonna take the over here
for this.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
One random thought process. Shakir or Michael Wilson for fantasy.
I know it's random. I'm just curious. I was like,
you said this and you said his line. I'm just like,
that's actually not not decent or not bad to like play.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Okay, what's Wilson's at forty eight?
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Oh maybe I'm wrong and.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
The books are actually taking saying that the edges on
the under on Michael Wilson. So yeah, I'm gonna in
the props game, I'm gonna take a little Shakir seven
seven six sketches in his last three games, he's cleared
this in all but one, but he hit forty three
in the one that he didn't. So, like I said,
take out Dalton Kincaid. I think there should be plenty.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Of work for him. Now I'm with you on Shakir.
I think Shaker's and again he's one of those guys
it's gross you don't want to play him, but like
it's because he doesn't really get he doesn't get the touchdowns,
he gets receptions in yards that's why it's like it's
not that great, but he does what he's supposed to do.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yeah, there's gonna be players that you want to attack
each week, but maybe not necessarily in fantasy, but in
the props game, this is where you know, I like
taking those those obscure shots.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Yeah. So my next pick is George Pickens over four
and a half receptions. Again, bad teams. He has only hit.
He's only done this or not done this three weeks
out of his nine game seasons so far. So I'm
(17:40):
perfectly fine thinking that. I think this. They're gonna again.
Ohides to say, Oakland Vegas defense is so bad and
that's one place you can be a must by throwing
the football. I'm sorry if your name's not Bonix. Yes, that's.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
I like it. My next one, I talked about how
this guy could absolutely just destroy the Jacksonville Jaguars secondary.
They can be beat on the perimeter. They're absolutely destroyed
up there as one of the bottom three teams with that.
QJ has hit this line in two of his last
both of his last two games. His line is only
at thirty seven and a half yards. Gadston's gonna be back,
(18:17):
so he's gonna be eliminating work for Keenan Allen. I
really like QJ this week to have a decent game.
Ten targets last week too, So give me QJ over
thirty seven and a half yards, dude, ten targets.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
A lot, like I know, Like, yeah, I mean I
think you and I both said that keen Allen has
been the the third like been the third wheel out
or whatever the expression is. I'm sorry forgive me for that,
but uh, I just yeah, I think Keenan's the last
guy to be looked at, and you know, he's old.
(18:49):
He's been great for what he is. It's just the
other guys are better.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
And if you look at the trend of the Russian
game Videl, he is literally hot cold every single week.
So this is gonna be a cold week. We're gonna
have to pass the ball. Yeah, give me QJ my
next one I have here, I got out of order.
Hollywood Brown over eighteen and a half yards. We still
haven't got anything confirmed on Xavier' worthy, but he likely
(19:14):
to play us on it. Okay, it's a little banged
up Hollywood Brown. Like again, he's just kind of going
out there. He's big he's fast. He cleared this in
every game, but two weeks ago he gets Washington when
he only saw one target. But before that seventy three, fourteen,
forty five, forty eight, thirty eight, forty. You know he's
gonna be out there. He's gonna be a part of it.
He can do this in one catch. I'm gonna lean
(19:35):
into it that. You know they're gonna try and eliminate
Rice in this game. I almost took rices under at
seventy and eighty eight and a half yards. They're in
Denver Divisional game. But let's let's let them focus on
some of the third and four string guys.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Heay's crazy, like he just has like like he's a
first round pick and I remember that. It's just like
that first game ten receptions on nine yards and everything
has just been kind of like, Eh, he's just been Yeah,
but I'm just surprised of the yardiste. So yeah, I'm
eighteen and a half. He's got it. He basically does
it every game except for you just said, so, yeah,
(20:10):
I like this one. I'll gamble on the odds of that,
and they need to do it. I'm sure he's gonna
be the odd man opening a few on a few drives,
just because Rice will be covered, Worthy will be covered.
Travis and he's just like the Okay, well he's the
last option.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, yeah, that's kind of what I'm hoping for. You know,
they can only guard so many of those receivers. They've
got a lot of talent out there, a lot of speed,
so we're banking on that. Like I said, over eighteen
and a half yards my last one here. I look,
we've got a great game between the seven and two
seven and two Rams. Really excited for this one. I
try to pick apart the Rams a little bit. We
(20:46):
talked about the thirteen personnel usage there, but I couldn't
decide which one I leaned on. So we're gonna take
a tight end from the other side, jas and he
has been him this year. He has been an absolute stud.
The Rams are gonna do everything they can to contain him.
So I'm going to lean on the like excessively talented
athletic rookie tight end Elijah Royo. Line's only sixteen and
(21:08):
a half yards. He's getting more and more involved. Barner
is still a part of that offense too, But you know,
like I said, they're going to focus on JS and
Sam Darnold's gonna have to find other ways to move
the ball through the air and didn't hit it last
week only five yards, but previously before that twenty nine
forty two yards. I like him to be able to
hit this easy line at sixteen and a half.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
This just seems like he hits this if he gets
if he catches two times, have you seen catch them all?
Two times? He gets this, and that's where it's at.
Like his other games won one reception, he's had one
reception games looks like four times so and he's they've
played nine times. So yeah, I can. I'll take the
coin flip on that. I don't know where his receptions
(21:50):
are at, but it's like one and a half, so
I would take that over too.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah. I mean it's also a rookie for two weeks
coming out of the buy, so we are going to
see more and more work typically on the uptick for them,
So I like to I like taking the shot here, man, nice,
let's get to these game picks. Here we go, time
for you to shine, hopefully hopefully get at LEAs two
of mine rights this week. I'm gonna go with my
(22:16):
first one. San Francisco minus three. This just seems too
easy going up against the Cardinals. No Marvin Harrison, no Kyler.
I don't know if that actually hurts or helps the
argument there. But San Francisco is finally getting brought party back.
I'm kind of surprised the line hasn't moved much more
than half a point, but give me San Francisco minus three.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah. I I like San Francisco this week. I think
with party coming back, Kittle is you know, nine receptions
last week, like CMC is getting a ten to work.
This team is clicking again. They just had to play
the Rams last week, and that's what happens. So I
think I think this is a playoff team. So I
like San Francisco this week.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Nice pretty your first one.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
This one's gross. It's it's real, really gross. It's you
feel gross when even when you say it. But it's
Vikings when it's two and a half. I like they're
at home. They've I mean the Vikings won the first
time the Bears. I thought the Bears would be favored
in this game, like just like it could be a
pick them. But they're saying the Vikings are three points better.
(23:22):
All right, Fine, I'll side with Vegas on this one.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
You know, I feel like I've picked the Vikings and
the Bears just about every time they've.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Lost this year.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
It's been so hard for me to get this right.
I just have so much hope and excitement for both
these teams. But I like Minnesota their four and five.
Bears are six and three. Vikings really need this one.
Like you said, they are at home, so definitely betailing
this one as well. My next one, Baltimore. There are
seven and a half point favorites in Cleveland. They took
(23:52):
care of business last time. Game was pretty close as
far as just back and forth during the first half,
but Baltimore let it loose. They took control of the game,
and I think they do that again. Desparite Lamar being
a little banged up this week. I think they get
it done.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah. So Joe Flacco played that game right, Yes, that
was the game. Okay, So they downgraded a quarter down
great a quarterback. Ravens defense is healthy again. They're starting
to figure it out a little bit. Lamar's back, Yeah,
I Ravens are also on my on my boot are
my pick as well. I think they just I think
they handle this game mightily. I think this is where
(24:27):
everyone was afraid of, Like, no, the Ravens can still
make the playoffs because again their division is bad and
their schedule isn't terrible going forward, which is crazy.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
I think the conversation last year was is the AFC
North the best division in football? NFC North and the
AFC North were like the arguments were like are these
the best two divisions?
Speaker 2 (24:45):
And always just like they're always just nail bier games.
That division just beats each other up.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Though it's just too much defense. They're just too much.
I mean, granted the Bengals bringing the offense, but like
there's just so much good defense there, and like the
it's a nineteen eighties division, like no, get out of here,
get out of here. But also the line moved from
forty one and over under to thirty eight and a half.
So Dylan Gabriel, he's knocking them down. I think. Or
(25:13):
it could be the weather, right, yeah, yeah, I think
a little windy. Who's your first one or your second one?
Speaker 2 (25:20):
It was Ravens. I fall I tailed with you on
that one.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Oh I didn't even see you had Ravens in there.
I pivoted their last second I had the.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Rams saw that and I was just like, well, we'll
both talk about it.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yeah, I love it, love it. Nice. Who's your last one? Then?
Speaker 2 (25:35):
My last one is Steelers minus five and a half again,
they lost the first time playing him. They're in Pittsburgh.
Their defense is their best part of their team. I
know they lost the Chargers last week and it looked bad.
But if there's ever a team to look good against
when you throw the football, it is a Cincinnati Bengals.
(25:56):
So I think Aaron Rodgers and the offense gets humming,
and Pittsburgh just stopped some more than they stopped the
Steelers offense. Nice.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Nice, I love it. My last one here, Yeah, I'm
gonna stick with them. I'm gonna stick with it. Buffalo
minus five and a half against Buccaneers. We talked about
both these games. Both these teams are coming off a loss.
Buffalo is becoming more and more suspect than they were
just a couple of weeks ago. You know, they were powerhouse,
(26:27):
you know, top to top one team and a lot
of power rankings, and we're realizing I think just about
every team in the NFL has a few question marks
on there. But the Buccaneers have even more. They're rocking
with two rookie wide receivers out there, and Kate Aughton
Bucky every won't be back for this one. So I
think that Buffalo, I think Josh Allen's just gonna be
(26:47):
too much to handle.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
This game makes me nervous for both teams because, like
I said, like someone's gonna be on a skid and
like that's gonna be some low stock.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Maybe they just tie. Let's just go with the tie, guys.
So awesome. So my three picks San Francisco minus three,
Baltimore seven and a half, and then Buffalo minus five
and a half. What are your three again?
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Vikings minus two and a half, Steelers minus five and
a half in the Ravens minus seven and a half.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Nice a lot of confidence on the Ravens. Maybe that's
not a good sign. Well, hey, let's get these survivor
picks and let's talk about some confidence here. I'm gonna
throw mine out. It's a little chalk here. I'm taking
the Texans, the four and five Texans to upset, upset
to take down the one and eight Titans. There, they're
(27:39):
six point favorites. They've got their better quarterback game right now. Anyway,
Davis Mills is starting, the rookies are getting more and
more involved, so I like the Texans to get it done.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
I'm pivoting.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Oh boy, all right, you wanted to tell them what
you want to tell the people? What you're pivoting from?
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Then it was the Steelers. I'm gonna text to see. Yeah,
Cam Wharris like it's not sorry, Cam Whart isn't bad.
The Titans team is just very very bad and the
Texans defense is very very good.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Then we'll swap them. I'll take the Steelers for you. Then,
since you also the game picks, I've also already lost
the technically I'm out, so I got a little bit
more house money to play with than he does. So
Preentan's taking the Texans as his survivor pick, and I'll
take the Steelers. If you need another obscure play, I'm
gonna give my the vote of confidence to Aaron Rodgers.
(28:36):
That didn't taste good coming out of the mouth.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Nice. I'm also saying Davis Mills now, so that's also
pretty gross too.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Yeah, nobody likes that. Well, folks, that's all we've got
