Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yo, what's up everybody here? We go too much fantasy football.
It's Brian, It's Brennan, and we've got a Thursday night
football review getting ready for it. How you doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Doing a lot better than Marvin Harrison Junior with an
appendus site is? How old are you? Dude?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
No kidding? Yeah, Marvin Harrison out this week, next week
up in the air. Awesome, awesome, so so excited. We
only get so many games with Jacobe Prett to like potentially,
and Marvi's gonna miss one of them.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, I mean, I still think Chcobe just starts for
Rest this season, and just what it sounds like, I think,
would you say that you expect coddr and we move
this offseason.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
That's the way it's training, That's the way it's looking
right now. I don't know why they.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, it just sounds like it's gonna beat Ucoby for
the rest of the season. So I'm not I'm not
necessarily worried too much.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
I guess it stinks Yep won't have him this week, folks,
as well as your Colts players and your Saints players,
which player I guess is really what we're talking about
with the Saints but yeah, we've got a handful of
notes we're gonna go through today and then of course
dive into the Thursday night preview because we've got football tonight,
an exciting one. I mean, it's a thirteen point spread

(01:27):
right now, so I don't know how exciting it truly
will be brutal, brutal. We've got hey Monday. We're a
little hesitant, but it looks like it at a Bucky
God went back practice limited fashion, but they were spotted
at practice again.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
The quote from Todd was that Bucky needs to be
able to absorb hits on his shoulder and then he'll
go so limited could mean a bunch of things. He
means he has a no contact jersey on. He's just running.
I need to I'm trying not to get my hopes
up for Friday. I'm trying to just be like it's
one more week and then probably but if Bucky can

(02:02):
play this week, oh my god, I have been hurt.
Everybody else has been hurting for running backs like I
have been hurting so bad in a lot of leagues
of Bucky.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, we're getting whispers about Sean Tucker potentially getting more
involved just for shot hasn't quite been getting it done
over these last few weeks. So if Bucky's not out there,
we could have a split that backfield and completely ruin
your day. Speaking of ruined days, Jack Dobbins looking towards
IR is what it's sounding like, foot injury. It's not good.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
It's what week? We're week eleven, So he gets on
the IR. It's week fifteen, and you're hoping gets back
for the semis for you in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Man, And honestly, like they've got one of the worst
running back schedules rest of season. So yeah, Kansas City
this week, they got a bye week in Washington Vegas,
and then you get Green Bay, Jacksonville, Kansas City in
the playoffs. I don't necessarily want to start him anyway,
Like he's kind of captive of the ceilings. He's got a
decent floor, but I'm trending cords dropping him in a
few weeks you just mentioned.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
So the week seventeen iss Kansas City, who's week sixteen
and fifteen?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
H fifteen is Green Bay Jacksonville is sixteen All teams.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
That are probably dying to get into the playoffs and Denver,
you know, with the way they're trending. I mean eight
and two they'll be fighting for probably for the one seat.
That'll be very interesting. Yeah, I'm not a fan of
the If then RG Harvey does well in these next
four weeks, like could he take the job too, It's
just one of those things.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, and it's at Kansas City for the championships, So yeah,
if you get him back one, two, three, you'd have
him back for for the Jacksonville Kansas City game. I
just I don't, I don't know we are or he's
done great. Jako Dobinsons has done great for the draft
capital that you got him for the amount of weeks
that you got through. But sometimes you just gotta take
him out of pasture, take him by on the shed.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You know, was a beady picked up in your leagues
at all? Or no?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Who oh h no, No, there's no picking up there.
That's just okay, gross, gross? What else do we have?
We got a hunter on Irfishly. I don't remember if
we talked about that Monday or not, but I mean
this was kind of writing was on the wall.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, LCL injury. It just sucks because like he was
actually looking really good the week prior starting to like
train in the right direction. But Parker Washington wide receiver
one for the Jags, and that's crazy to see.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah, very very crazy. Another promotion we have here is
Jameis Winston the starter for the Giants. Lits fantasy me, Like,
I have to kick somebody out of my top ten
rankings for quarterback this week because I've gotta put Jamis there.
Cannot wait. Darius Slayton as well did not practice this week,
but I don't care. It's Jameis Winston. He's gonna sling it.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, I'm firing up Wandale Theo Johnson. All these guys
do not care.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
I mean, why wouldn't you, Why wouldn't you put him
out there if you don't have Jackson Dartusell Wilson. We've
seen what he's gonna do.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And they expect Jamison to be the backup to Jackson Dart.
They want him to come back to be the backup
to him. So it just all makes sense, Like, hey,
we want you to be the backup for him. We
like you here, Jackson Dart likes you like I think
it's just a match made in heaven. Why not.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Do you think this is Russell Wilson's last season, Like
do you think he finds a home next year?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
The only home I'm trying to think, like logically, like
where could he go because he's going to be super cheap.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
As he go to Vegas to backup Gino.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Oh No, he's got a bad taste with Pete Carroll.
That's they bumped heads too much. I was thinking like Atlanta,
like being a backup there because you know, Kirk Cousins
is gonna get cut. They don't have to pay out
money anymore. So I could see Atlanta. But that's just
like a pipe dream. He could. He should retire though,

(05:56):
like you're done, dude.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, we had multiple shots, tried to come back toward
it didn't work.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Just you made your money, dude, Like you got a
super Bowl and you got a Super Bowl and your
wife is a singer, Like I think you're good man.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yeah, your chance is at a Hall of Fame. You
already lost that. You're not gaining it back in one
last season.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
So no, there's no way. I think he pissed away
the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
What else do we have? Gadsten back at practice, it
looks like but trending to play. It was just a
bruised quad is what it got reported, as you saw
the collision he had on that game. So I'm very
very excited to have him back in this one a
juicy matchup.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Is there a chance that, like, if he's not full
practice by Friday, do you think he could just be
like out there kind of like a T. Higgins type
of situation that makes it? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I hope, I hope not, because if he's playing, I'm
starting him all over the place. Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren's
been my number one tight end in most of my leagues,
so he I need a pivot optioning against the Jags.
Jags are the second, like they're almost the Bengals when
it comes to tight ends.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Oh that just sounds so juicy. Imagine if you, like
you thought in your head like, well Gatson can't play
all to start Will Disley.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Or I was writing my tight end article last night
and I I was tempted because I was pulled up
THEO Johnson because I just didn't want that with Russell Wilson.
Now I'm putting him back. I've put him back in
because I've got Jamis. But it definitely enticed me a
bit because will Disley. I thought he might be a
decent streamer coming into the season.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, I'm right there with you.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Well, it's that time of a year where guys, you know,
when they're their play goes bad, they start putting the
foot in their mouth. First one is Michael Pennix saying
he has no one to rely on for help here.
I mean, I can't see that. Cole Cole's Curzon kirk Cousins.
Coles just wants to come running out of there. Kirk
Cousins isn't gonna be willing to help him.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
I don't know if that like is a shot at
kirk Cousins. It sounds like a shot at the coaching staff.
And that's just maybe it's just his way of trying
to speed rush in them to get fired, because like
Raheem Morris isn't a good coach man. He's a great
defensive coordinator, and even their defensive quarter now who's calling
all the plays, is doing great. But like it just
it's not just it's not working at LAMBA. They need

(08:20):
to have a guy who can build around penick strengths
and build around that run game, because you have two
guys there that can run the ball North and South
very very well, and so I just think their next
hire should be an offensive mind.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I one hundred percent agree. The defense is good, you know,
it's built well, you have a solid defensive coordinator, but
like the focus needs to be on this offense. Drake Lennon.
I love that he's hyper targeted, but it's not sustainable upside,
Like we love it for fantasy, but as far as
an NFL franchise, like that's not just not sustainable.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
It just won't want to like that. Yeah, And what's funny,
It's like some tinfoil hat stuff. It's just like, wasn't
Raheem Morris or the Rams?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Who do they just trade their first future first round
pick with the Rams? Like it's I'm just joking, but
like the fact that the Rams own their first round pick,
and like Falcons fans are saying, like they love Pierce
Junior from Tennessee, like that's great, he's got a sack
before Swumbowl and five tackles, but like you don't have
a top ten pick now, and like would you either
have Pierce Junior or this potential top ten pick, Like that's.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Absolutely absolutely Other guys that were chirping off this week.
I mean you were on AJ Brown. You saw the
stream with AJ Brown playing Madden this week?

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Right, Yeah, some great quotes came from that stream. By
the way, if you had a chance, you can just
go on Twitter and type it in. I think it's
his nephew. He asked him like, like, how you like,
how are you feeling? He's like what, He's like, what
do you mean? Man, I'm struggling over here, and he
just starts laughing, like and then I think he points
to his stats in the Madden game. He's like, see
only wait, am gonna get these statuses by playing Madden? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Like hyper target himself on mad and it was so good.
The most worrisome quote was if you have me in Fantasy,
drop me you don't want me. And as somebody who
traded and picked up AJ Brown over the last couple
of weeks, it's it's disheartening for sure.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
I mean it's it's one thing. Is he is he
acting like a diva or is he being honest or both?

Speaker 1 (10:24):
He's definitely being a diva. But when you're that good
and go for it, do that.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
I think you and I talked about it and we
were trying to map in our head. It just sounds
like they're gonna hold on to him for this year
and then try to trade him next year. But you
said it's a seventy two million dollars dead cap it.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Yeah, I don't know if that's I'm trying to figure
out if that was directly correlated with like a trade,
if some of that would be lessons. So it looks
like their biggest out would be after twenty twenty seven.
But it just doesn't feel like they would go through
another year of this because like we had this, we
were going through this last year the year before, like
Siriani can Sirian? Yes, I get him in Stichen mixed

(11:02):
up so freaking much. Not the coaches, but just just
the name. There, Folks, calm down, but it's this isn't
the first time he's voiced his opinion. It's not the
first time he's been annoyed with his workload. I I
wouldn't be surprised. Do you imagine if they get that
first round pick back, you know, trad, and just flip
him for a first during the draft to Tennessee. That

(11:22):
would be freaking amazing. If we could get that to
happen honestly for Abel. I mean they need a number
one there in New England. New England has the most
money I believe going into the off season.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, they probably do, just because Drake me is still
in a rookie contract. I mean, you can push the
chips in and go for it all. It may kind
of makes sense, but yeah, this is frustrating just because
I think the talent's there is just not being utilized.
So I don't know what to do with this situation.
I'm bench. I'm benching him in a league where I

(11:55):
have a ton of wide receivers, it just happened to
have like him, George Pickens, Sutton, Stefan Diggs. Like I'm
starting Steffan Diggs and Pickens over Sutton and AJ Brown,
which I would have never thought.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I would have said, let's say you have to play
a third wide receiver. Who you're playing Sutton or a J. Brown?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
AJ Brown? Maybe this is like the like game where
he goes off and Jalen Hurts throws in the football
more than like six times. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah, it sounds like Jalen Hurts really didn't give a shit,
So it's it's hard to think that, like you know
their buddies and he's gonna help write the ship. He
didn't give a shit. Yeah, Dj Moore dealing with the
shoulder injury. I think it's more so focused on Luther Burden.
Like if DJ Moore misses this, I am super excited
for what we can get from DJ Moore or from
Luther Burden rest of this season. Loved his uh just

(12:47):
as a prospect coming into the draft, went high second round.
Definitely a player I'm stashing everywhere.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Yeah, under staying his name wrong. It's the keys. He's
the guy you want to pick up as a kias. No.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Nobody wants a Kias nobody wants. I want him to
win the lottery so he can just retire, go away.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Your dog was even barking. Even heard your dog say
he's a key to No. I really want Luther Burden
to be a thing, like obviously, like when their first
two picks in this draft are Loveland and then it's
Luther Burden, two really exciting players. Obviously, you just you
really wanted to be that. And I'm not really sure.
I mean, I'll pick him up, hold him and maybe

(13:32):
something happens. But it just seems to be the ball
spread out a lot. Rome seems to be the focal
point of it all though at.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
The end of the day, Yeah, he did have a
day arrest on Wednesday, but we're seeing that kind of
a trend for Romadoon's AA. So no sweat there. Yeah,
Trey Benson day to day, still waiting.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Bam de Mecardo. I don't even know. I mean that
backfields so bad, Like it's just there's no run. There's
no real run game. There's gonna be no Marvin So
Trey McBride might have like twenty targets in this next game.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Two touchdown games, isn't gonna be out of the Roman possibilities.
They play the Niners in Arizona de Mercado. Yeah, Division
games A. Zay Jones found his way onto IR this week.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
It's who they have. They have Michael Wilson. I'm trying
to think of the other wide receivers they have.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
That's like even well, I don't forget about Greg Dorch
come on, and then.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
It wouldn't be surprised that they make like like several
plays for him and like some like pitch and stuff
like that.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Andre Bessolini, Besselia seventy year old year six. Never even
art of this kid, but he is right now. They're
wide receiver three on the team. Honestly, Elijah Higgins, the
second Titan might be you know, it might be him,
Michael Wilson and Trey McBride as the three guys that
actually get focused on It's gonna be grow gross gross

(15:02):
Adam's DNP this on Wednesday. Not really surprised he was
a little hampered up in this past game, but I might.
He says he's gonna be out there, so I'm all,
he needs a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
He looked like me when I was trying to undo
the vacuum cord when I hurt my back and just
bent over and was unraveling. I was like, oh, oh,
I'm out, so welcome to be over thirty Davante, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
No, kidding. He doesn't make me feel like anything's possible
at my age, since you know we're right around the
same uh. Drake London dealing with an illness. You know,
keep an eye on it, but I imagine nothing's affected there.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
I do be fluids. He'll be fine by Sunday.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Joe Burrow looking sharp out there at practice. Week thirteen
is what we're aimed for. Go pick him up wherever
you can.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Someone did bid ten dollars in my league.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
For him, no kidding, m hmm. Yeah he got picked up.
Oh my god, Monday, he got picked up everywhere, which
I was kind of annoyed by. I was like, Oh,
I forgot to run a buy this would have been great.
But yeah, it's big, big brain thinking there.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
C J.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Stroud's still dealing with concussion symptoms. Looks like he's probably
gonna be out this week against the Titans. The neck,
he's gonna be out there. He's gonna be spread them
all around. Pretty excited for a handful of those pieces
because those rookies they're rotating in more, they're getting more snaps.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
It's just one of those things. It's just really weird.
It's like maybe Stroud's confidence was shot, and you know,
Davis Mills is just like, oh, new toys, Like because
when Davis Mills was playing, I feel like it is
kind of a crap, like he didn't have targets, Like
he had a very brand new Nico Collins in the
league and wasn't this Now he has Nico Collins in
like his complete form. I would say so to speak

(16:44):
with Jaden Higgins and Jylan Nowell and also Christian Kirk,
so like he's got options, I feel like, and it's
just just sucks that, you know, Stroud's confidence might be shot.
There's a possibility of that.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
That's what happens when you're running for your life for
your entire career. Awful, awful offensive line. Uh, Pachecko coming
off the by d n P. Hunt obviously a lot
more enticing without Pacheco there, Lets just split. They're playing
the Broncos this week though, like running back three with upside,
it's kind of how you're approaching it.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Flex playle play, Yeah, I have no choice in some leagues,
Like he's my rbso like I really can't Pacheco cannot play.
Like that's where I'm at with him. It's like, please
don't play.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Actually, yeah, I've got a chopped the league. I missed
out on the running back. So I'm sitting there staring
at him. Was like, he's free. I might be playing him,
Gonna have to pick him up. Calvin Ridley back at practice?
Do we care? Especially Houston?

Speaker 2 (17:42):
I like DK. I still like their fourth round pick,
right is that?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah? Here's day three?

Speaker 2 (17:49):
He fourth. I like him a lot, so I'd like
to just start him than Calvin.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
And then I don't know, is he still your boy
status Brian Thomas Jr. Backup practice.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Some people might have to be starting him, like genuinely
might have to be starting him because of the injuries
that are piling up right now, Like.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
It's tempting. I was talking about that Chop league. He
is on the wiver wire right now.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
He is in the waver wire too, and he's in
the way wire in my ten man league, and I'm
so dampted, just like like he should be owned.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
He's Yeah, it's one of those like I might drop
drop JK. Dobbins for him, Like am I actually gonna
play him? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
But he's healthy.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
There's so much hope, Like we've seen the talent. It's there,
whether or not he can actually like pull it off
if he.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Ends the year just dud. Let's just say, like like
he doesn't do anything. He doesn't even put up like
wide receiver two numbers at the end of the year,
like he's the stretch of games. Could he be moved,
Like could they genuinely like move him in the off season.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
There were rumors at the trade deadline of possibly like
the Jags. I don't know how true they were. Again,
we're talking rumor here, but I don't think it's out
of the role possibility. They traded a lot for for
Travis Hunter. He can he can be their number one.
Maybe they recoup some draft capital from the trade the
Hunter trade. Obviously, this gym has no the GM has

(19:14):
no problem playing it like Madden.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Yeah, what pick do they currently own? I think it's
in the top twenty for sure, because they're on the
outside looking in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Give me two seconds to pull that up.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I haven't clicked a while because the Browns. It's so nice.
Not the look at that right.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Currently Cleveland has the pick. It's pick nineteen. Oh, it's
because the Jacksonville Jaguars are still in the playoff hunt.
But Kansas City is sitting there frothing like ready to
take that spot over. Jacksonville's probably not going to make
the playoffs unless Pittsburgh. No, no, that's right, Baltimore will
take Pittsburgh spot.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's it's pretty gross.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Cleveland. They'd have pick number four and pick number nineteen.
Atlanta or I mean the Rams would have picked ten
and picked twenty seven ish if the.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Season twenty eight man, the Rams are good.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Judent Colts, I'm sorry. The Jets would have picked thirty
two if the season ended today.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
I saw that. It always makes me, it's crazy, that's great.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yeah, my boss, she's she's an Eagles fan, so she
comes in struttinger shit all the time, talking about, Hey, Ron,
did you see the Eagles. I'm like, yeah, I saw
they got one last win than the Colts. Gotta I
gotta take advantage of it now, you know it may
not be for much longer. Gonna Gallint coming up. Speaking

(20:48):
of a gauntlet. We got to talk some Thursday night football,
and the Jets look like they are definitely in one.
The two and seven Jets are taking the eight and
two Patriots on in Foxborough. This is a forty three
point over under New and opened up at eleven and
a half. They're at thirteen point favorite right now.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
I the we can say legitimately one, two, three, four
names to just start and that's it.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, yeah, it's honestly, it's a stretch one, two, I
got three, I got I got three. So Drake May
is the easy start this week. Uh, is there any
because it's being a Thursday game, a divisional game? Is
there any Like if you have a decent pivot point,
maybe a Flacco or something like that, would you be

(21:40):
pivoting there or you full confidence in Drake May?

Speaker 2 (21:43):
This week Flacco is enticing just because they he's in shootouts,
Like he throws a ton of passes because that's what
since he has to do. Steelers don't. Like Steelers do
have a good defense at the end of the day,
like they have the most money in the defensive line. Obviously,
I know they you know, we're beat by the Chargers.
I get that, but like it's kind of enticing. But

(22:04):
Drake May's just been so good, He's been so safe.
He's one of those guys where like I just I
leave it and I don't know if you have any
of the better options.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Really got the running back position. You got Breese Hall
on one side, Travion Henderson on the other, Ramondre Stevenson
is out, and Terrell Jennings is trending not to be there.
It's de Arnest Johnson.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Hear him.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
He would be the backup at this point. But like
it's gotta be full confidence in Henderson Hall, He's got
a rough matchup against the Patriots. They are the best
against the run. But he just played Cleveland and he
did all right.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah again the quote from Rabel himself about uh from
trebon is Henderson expected to get a big load on
Thursday night versus the Jets.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Nice, nice warm. I know it's a new England, it's
gonna be.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
A little cold, but.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, it's Rable an idiot for just now giving him
this big load or.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Has like an a chan Kamara type of back like
he should be used in the past game where he
should be you know, maybe sometimes running in between the tackles,
but not so much like the he needs to find
his marking does a lot. Yeah, like they need like
a one to two punch and it can.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Work his David Montgomery yep. And they can get that
in a Day three pick next year if they want.
You know, there'll be tons of running backs hitting. I mean,
Brian Robinson probably hitting free agency, you know, fit and well,
he's not so talented that he's going to ruin his day,
but just enough where Henderson's not gonna be getting hurt

(23:42):
by getting smashed going through the tackles because yeah, he
needs to run through tackles every now and then, so
it's not so obvious what's happening when he gets the ball.
But he needs ten, thirteen, fifteen touches just like that's
how that's how you break them off. You have to
have multiple attempts.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
I agree, all right.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
So now we've got three players were starting this game.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I said four.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah, I was gonna say, I guess it's gonna be
Stephan Diggs is where the confidence play is.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah, Diggs is a confidence play for me.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
No Booty, Yeah, Booty should be out for this game.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah, Williams, I get it, had the seventy two yard touchdown,
but that was really it. He just had that one
play and that was it.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Yeah, he should be getting worked in more and more
over the last three weeks, twenty two snaps forty six
fifty six percent of snaps unless you just have so
much room on your bench or the waiver wires that Baron.
I don't think he needs to be owned, but he's
somebody you should know, somebody you should keep an eye on.
Last three games are playing Baltimore, Buffalo, and the Jets
in the playoffs. I don't know, we'll have to see.

(24:44):
We'll have to see a lot more over the next
three games, but possibility there. Haiti Mitchell, Like, if you're
that desperate, if you're in a twelve team league, are
you even are you sniffing that? Or is this a
Thursday out.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
I'm gonna I'm gonna give you three wide receivers because
I'm in a league where this is actually a possibility
for me. You rank him, Adie Mitchell, Michael Wilson or
Darneld Mooney.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I mean Michael Wilson's gonna be at the top. A
lot of that being brisket playing and then also Marv
being out. Okay, EIGHTI Mitchell might be too just to
rip the band aid off just to get the bad
game over with. You don't have to sweat it, you know,
it's already there, rather than like going into Sunday hoping like,
all right, come on, Mooney, give me something.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Now.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
He's not gonna give you anything.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Thing.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
So maybe I mean, they're playing the Panthers. It's in
Atlanta divisional game. Panthers coming off a loss. Falcon's coming
off travel. You know, i'ming back from Berlin.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
That's gross, It's really gross. Yeah, As for the tight ends,
Hunter Henry, Like, I'm tempted just to take his over
this week, but I think that might just be because
I got it wrong last week and I'm trying to
redeem myself. Mason Taylor, the game's.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Over, prop bet if it would have been, it'd be
fields under his passing yards by the way, like still
hammering that home all the way.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Do you have a like, do you know what the
line is right now?

Speaker 2 (26:09):
You'd be giving like ten seconds. I can definitely pull
it up. I think it's one sixty one.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Do you think it's that high? I think it was
that last week.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
I think it's one sixty one. Let's see player props
passing yards one four.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Yep, I figured it'd be dropping. He fifty four yards
last week.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I want to take me over now now I'm kind
of tempting. Oh that's funny. I didn't even look at it.
That's so embarrassing. Break May's at two thirty nine.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Okay, I'm looking at it here. I guess he's only
actually had one game where he out rushed his passing yards,
but like he's been close, Like he had twenty eight
on the ground last week and fifty four through the air.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Justin fields thirty five and a half over rushing horrible
if prone. Wow, that's wild.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Brise Hall over sixteen and a half for receiving yards,
I like that, digs over fifty three yards, Mac Collins
under thirty seven and Drake May over twenty four. If
we're throwing out props.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
For this one, yeah, I like Treman Henderson over seventeen
and a half and I like Breese hallovers as well.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Honestly, Henderson's whatever his longest rushes. I think I would
take that too. Draft Kings doesn't usually les you're parlay
the longest rushes and lot of youngish receptions. But if
you're on an underdog or pick theems, I don't I
hate it. Yeah, that makes this pretty easy. What else
you got for this game?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
It's just a city game, man, Like, I wish they
could pivot out a Thursday night game, so they can't.
I know they're flexing out. I think it's next Sunday's game.
It's the Commander Broncos. I think they're trying to flex
that one out.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
I'd advise I'd advise that, yeah, yea of start doing so.
Oh yeah, it looks like they have Bucks and Rams
is a Sunday night game next week?

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Good game, good game. Where's the.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
The Bronco Broncos must be on a bye next week.
Actually I don't see them here.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Or it's like week thirteen or whatever. It's whenever they
play the Commanders, they have a Sunday game or something
like that. It's something, Oh it's week thirteen.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Yeah, they the Sunday night game. Yeah yeah, give me
the Bills and Steelers in the four o'clock window or
the Vikings Viking Seahawks at four. That's the game I wanted,
Sunday night football.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
That's enticing.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Seahawks are back to back. They've got some good games
coming up. The Seahawks Rams game this week, I'm super
pumped for.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I can't wait to watch that one.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Probably gonna be nineteen to sixteen, just because you know,
division game and we're all excited for it.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
But I doubt it. I doubt it a touchdown yeah,
oh yeah over by the way. I think it's hit
almost every single week. By the way. Really, I'm pretty
positive his over and yards is hit.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
We're gonna be digging into that for the Prop show,
So don't miss that, folks. We've got that coming to
you every Sunday morning or Saturday morning. I'm sorry. So
this is New England favored by thirteen. Do they get
the points.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
At home? Yes?

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Yeah, I like to feel love it a half line
just so much more. But yeah, I give me. It's
it's hard to pick. Jet's just one another game that
they should have won. Yeah, they get Aaron Gns trying
to prove he's not incompetent. But dude, you're killing your
draft called Like at this point they are the fifth pick.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
It's just not a good quarterback class. So like I
mean early, at the end of the day, you're just
you know, top five pick doesn't hurt you.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
So as of right now, Tennessee is the only one
win team we're looking at. Yet again, another AFC South
team picking back to back first round picks, and the
Jags clearly whiffed on both of them when they did
it four and five years ago.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah, it was Walker and then.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Uh Tee Law. But they took Walker over Aiden Hutchinson.
Like at the last minute, Aiden Hutchinson was locked in
at the one and the last minute they come in
They're like, oh, let's get to serve as a Georgia. Guy,
let's go get a Georgia. No, nope, you missed. You
screwed that one up. Yeah, no kidding, no kidding. Daniel

(30:27):
Jones would be getting, you know, taking a little bit
like Sacks. We're not talking about Colts, sorry, folks, We're
not talking going segue into Colts. Nice. What us you
out for the people?

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I've got nothing else. So just to make sure they
put your Thursday night players in the wide receiver running
back and take them out of.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Your flex yep, yep, we'll put them in your positional spots.
Gives you more flexibility going into the week, especially as
injuries they're popping up. I mean this mar thing, nobody
had that expected, you know, no ridiculousness. Well, folks, we
can't thank you enough for coming to hang out with us.
This was the Thursday night preview. Stay tuned tomorrow. We've
got our start sit episode. We go through every remaining game,

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
