exactly what some of these players said this week. We
had some Absolutely, we had some pretty pretty awesome experiences
as far as some of the plays this week. And
it's not so great. Some duds, some stinkers. We're here
to go through all of them. But we'll go ahead
and start with the injuries. Let's get the ugly stuff

out of the way. Uh, Jade and daniels Man. I
was nervous the way he got up initially after that
hamstring poll. I thought it was something worse.

Yeah, this one's uh. I don't know if it's just
like they're they're being very uh, nonchalant about it. They're
not really giving a whole lot right now. Your eyes
can be the uh the doctor if you want it.
So to speak for me, I think he's gonna miss
next week. I I think he might miss a couple

of weeks, to be honest.

With you, Yeah, I'm kind of leaning everything I've heard.
Just like the rom Wings around there, it seems like
it could be like more of a two to three
week injury. It's not great, But at the same time,
if it's gonna happen to somebody, I don't mind it
happening to him because we have a pretty good pivot
option like Marcus Mariota seems to be close to eighty
percent of Jadan Daniels in most of his feelings. So

it could be worse. I think we'll be pretty good
going forward with that. But yeah, two to three weeks
without Jade. He's already missed some time this year. It sucks.

I think the Giants might be the number two team

I discount him so much, but like, yeah, cowboys are
three three and one right now, that's it's not terrible
compared to how bad the defense is playing. Windy dropped
the points that they drop. Yeah, sorry to keep up
the Cowboys right now. Next injury we have, it's uh,

Bryce Young. I haven't seen whether it's a high or
a low ankles tie high an all right, so that's
gonna be a few more weeks. This might be the
benching that we need for Bryce Young. Last year it came,
you know, he said out for a little bit. Red
rifle came out there, plot shot there a few times,
and then Young plugged right in. We're good to go.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
This Does it move anything for you? Right? Honestly, like
I few like I've viewed Tet the same.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
I view Safer. I think Tet has a better floor
with the red rifle.

and in a sense it doesn't. I think it actually
just it might help them.

So yeah, I don't. Just doesn't really change a whole
lot for me. If anything gives me optimism when Bryce
Young comes back, maybe he's better but probably not. Kendre Miller,
sad Day torn acl as soon as he finally gets
an opportunity in the NFL. He's staying healthy and that's
short lived.

Really stuck for Alvin Kamara to continue to give me
single bitcha points.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Dude, it's been so bad and like it's hard to
be mad at Kamara. He's been crushing it for so long.
This was inevitable, like it was gonna happen at some time.
I was hoping it wasn't gonna be this year. But
just the way the teams owe me, the way the
team's operating kamaras, he's no longer that perennial RB one,
you know, he's more of that RB two for you now, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
A very very safe floor RB two.

Jalen Waddle to kind of a rough hit. Then again,
he does this just about every single game. The game
was completely out of hand to it got benched, so
it made sense that he was coming out. I haven't
really seen any reports and anything bad, so I'm hoping
we have.

I saw he's healthy. I saw they just take him
out as of precaution because of the scoreboard.

So yeah, smart, smart, it's the best decision. That team's
made all year.

Breis Hall doesn't look he left the game a couple
of times. It looked like came in and banged up
a bit. Quote from the coach should be fine, So
optimism you know that.

You know, their head coach says a lot man like
he the Broncos game. He was saying like he should
have done the Hail Mary. They had a chance to
do a Hail Mary at the end of this first
half too, and they didn't do it. He said, we
should have. Like, this coach just seems to be like
having a brain farts. This is what the best way
I would put it with this team.

Yeah, and I'm trying to give him as much grace
as I can because it is the Jets. We had
very minimal expectations for this season. But he's not showing
me the few things that he needs to show me.
Despite like I can care less what the record of
the team looks like, but there's still a few things
I want to see, and I'm just not sure that
I've seen it so far from him.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Let me ask you this. I went back and I
saw something from his time at Detroit. He never had
a good defense in Detroit, you know that, right?
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Tell me, well, I mean it seemed good.

They were, They seemed good, but they were never ranked
like top ten in any of the years he he
was there. And you know, last year, I get it
they were depleted an injury, okay, but the years prior
to that, I think the highest they ever were was
like eighteen.

Interesting. If you want to say he was a culture guy,
you don't come in and bringing in that Dan Campbell system.
I don't know, I don't know. He doesn't give me
the same vibes that Dan Campbell has as far as
just you know, the accountability. It seems like it could
be there, but it's just not the not the same.

Yeah, because like he was talking about, he was really
upset when they asked him of Justin field Seris to
get bench last week. He was like kind of appalled,
and then this week like, yeah, we benched him. Yeah
it's done.

Like he's like, oh, that's a good idea, Maybe I
should Yeah, I mean, oh, in all, they signed him
to a two year contract. Justin field, I believe probably
a good ninety percent of us believed that either he
won't be on the team next year, he won't be
the starter next year. This team's playing for a top pick,
they're playing for a quarterback.

he's gonna be held out of this next game. It's
water on eight chan for the Dolphins, and that's it.

had Bonick starting this week. I'm still worried about it
because he did not look good. And I get it.

to play the Chiefs. The Chiefs have finally caught stride.
Like I'm I'm a little hesitant about Bonick starting in Fantasy.

Yeah, he was twenty seven for fifty toss in the rock.
There is only the second game that he's been over
two hundred fifty yards passing. Uh, the first game that
he's been over thirty three yards rushing. So it's it's
a a sophomore slump. Like there's no doubt and there's
no in like, that's just what it is. We're looking
at Denver. This team is not looked as sharp as
they did last week. The didn't or last year. The

defense is little suspect the offense it's showing. I think
this is the reason that he was the critical draft
pick that he was this past year or you know,

there was a reason that everybody's like, wait, why did
you take him that early? So, you know, I think
he can come around, hopefully. We know we love good

quarterbacks in this league.

But yeah, I mean give him flowers. You know, highest
scoring points is still a lot. I mean, congrats to him.
I'm still like I have him in an eliminator league
and we're now down to twelve or eleven teams. Eleven teams.
Now I'm looking to replace him, like I'm just like
I want to get off this roller coaster.

Yeah, he was in that conversation that was like him
justin fields and Daniel Jones was like the common start
sit around those three players, Yeah, and it felt like
he was Yeah, Jackson Dart on the other side of
that team finished QB three two hundred and eighty three
yards passing only eleven rushing. Three passing touchdowns are rushing

Because their defense was also getting touchdowns too.

takeaway from that game specifically.

Yeah, I excited he might be a streamer going forward
for a bit. Going to the wide receivers here, Jamar
Chase in that game, twenty three targets, are you kidding me?

across the two of them. This was embarrassing on the
fact that the Vikings will give up thirteen points to
the wide receiver position combined on average in these games,

I really feel like the Eagles left a lot of
points on the board when Carson Wentz throws a pick six,
the falling play is a fumble for eight yards, and
the following play is an interception, and you still only
win by six points. I just I, like I said,
the Eagles need to win this game. It was definitely
redemption game, but I still feel like they so much
more on the table for this game.

That's where I was afraid. I didn't want to come

did see something where it'd catch my eye, like this
offensive line is older, like this is not like they
have consistently been the top rankings of a top offensive line.

I do agree that the second half it plays more

the same issue with JASN. JSN was virtually unplayable until

I was worried that last week was a product of

My my fear for this is that the highest rusher
for this game was justin Herbert. They don't have a
run game. So when Joe Alt comes back, when Omaron
Hampton comes back, I don't know if Gadson has this
type of role that he had in this game because

not do anything else like that. So my fear for
this is that if you go and blow this fab
on Gadston right, because he's gonna be one of the
biggest pickups, it's not gonna be vital because they played Thursday,
mind you, they play against the Vikings. I'm just a
little worried. I think it is. I don't know. I
want to say it's a one week wonder, but I
just don't know if it's gonna be this like long
haul for the season type of play.

Yeah. I think it's a little bit of both. For me,
just in the fact of there are three there's already
three wide receivers. We can't decide how to order each
and every week we're having to go through that. Then
you have the running game as it develops a little bit,

aggressively pursuing anybody. So if anything, it could be like

Caleb Williams. Yeah, it wasn't great this week, but he
didn't have to be. When you're running game works that way,

be expected. With the Bears offense, as great as their
passing weapons are, the offensive line is amazing, they want

to be identifiable through the run game. So like it's
just gonna be understood that Caleb's going to have some
of these subpar games.

Yeah, I'm I'm not necessarily worried for Caleb, Like I
think this was a bad opponent. I think when they
start playing better opponents, Caleb soon as the sling it more.
This is just one of those games where it was run,
heavy oriented and that was it.

Yeah, only his third interception this season. He threw one
this week, but yeah, only third on the year. That's
we're seeing the things we wanted to see from Caleb exactly.
Let's talk about bench himself justin fields. Oh you gots

Yeah, he's cut. I think you can respectfully cut him
and not worry about setting him in the lineup ever again.

Yeah, I've seen him on waiver wires in a lot
of my leagues, Like you know, he's being picked up
and streamed. So it's just how it's gonna be.

Yeah, I think there's better options out there for sure
going forward, and I don't think justin fields is this
is my biggest fear about drafting Hi right, because he
had a few weeks like Week one he looked like
all right, like maybe he fixed it, and then he's
had a couple like where it's been like, oh it's been,
it's been so so. Then it's just been a downward
trajectory ever since. And I that's where my fear was
with him the season.

That was my hardest thing with ranking him this year.
If you didn't have him in your top twelve, everybody
sat there and yelled at you, like, are you kidding
on a points per game basis this guy's great. I'm like, yes,
but my rankings aren't for points per game. My rankings
are for the season. And as much as I didn't
want to believe he was gonna get benched for Tyron
because Tyron is old as hell, the guy also doesn't
deserve to be out there starting if he's gonna go
out there and play like that.

Yeah, Like my when I was going through my rankings,
my friends were like, but who's he really competing with
Tyrod Taylor? And I'm just like, like, they're kind of
in the same sphere at this point. Like, I mean,
Tyrock can't throw the ball far, but like, I don't know,
like you need something else there. You're zero and seven
the Jets when you look at their schedule or you're
kind of like they could be the first and seventeen team,
like legitimately, and that's kind of scary for Jets fans.

Yeah, I think it's very similar to the whole Joe
Flacco Browning thing, same thing. These are like near the
same players, just one significantly older, and the older players
are smarter. They knew how to get rid of the ball,
they knew how to get it out fast, and Tyrock

in the pocket, a little scrambles. I love to see
him out there running backs. We touched on Barkley. You

can't really do anything about it. You're not benching him,
you can't trade him. You just gotta keep rolling it

it wasn't great. Brishard Smith was RB sixteen at ten points.
So there is a huge drop off in these running
backs as far as what they're the production is coming
out as yeah, and the tight ends finally, just the

Harold Fannon can't really do much when your defense is
scoring and your your running back score three touchdowns. So
he was quite the disappointment. I don't know who was
the last one whose kind of annoyed the hell.

as a six offensive lineman to block for CMC to
get all those yards.

gonna be a few more weeks. This might be the
benching that we need for Bryce Young. Last year it came,

and then Young plugged right in. We're good to go.

and not worry about setting him in the lineup ever again.

Yeah, I think there's better options out there for sure
going forward, and I don't think justin fields is this
is my biggest fear about drafting Hi right, because he
had a few weeks like Week one he looked like
all right, like maybe he fixed it, and then he's
had a couple like where it's been like, oh it's been,
it's been so so. Then it's just been a downward
trajectory ever since. And I that's where my fear was
with him the season.

That was my hardest thing with ranking him this year.
If you didn't have him in your top twelve, everybody
sat there and yelled at you, like, are you kidding
on a points per game basis this guy's great. I'm like, yes,
but my rankings aren't for points per game. My rankings
are for the season. And as much as I didn't
want to believe he was gonna get benched for Tyron
because Tyron is old as hell, the guy also doesn't
deserve to be out there starting if he's gonna go
out there and play like that.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, Like my when I was going through my rankings,
my friends were like, but who's he really competing with
Tyrod Taylor? And I'm just like, like, they're kind of
in the same sphere at this point. Like, I mean,
Tyrock can't throw the ball far, but like, I don't know,
like you need something else there. You're zero and seven
the Jets when you look at their schedule or you're
kind of like they could be the first and seventeen team,
like legitimately, and that's kind of scary for Jets fans.

Yeah, I think it's very similar to the whole Joe
Flacco Browning thing, same thing. These are like near the
same players, just one significantly older, and the older players
are smarter. They knew how to get rid of the ball,
they knew how to get it out fast, and Tyrock
gets so boogie. He had a few little moving around
in the pocket, a little scrambles. I love to see
him out there running backs. We touched on Barkley. You

can't really do anything about it. You're not benching him,
you can't trade him. You just gotta keep rolling it

negative receiving yards. So like eleven points in the day,
it wasn't great. Brishard Smith was RB sixteen at ten points.
So there is a huge drop off in these running
backs as far as what they're the production is coming
out as yeah, and the tight ends finally, just the

Harold Fannon can't really do much when your defense is
scoring and your your running back score three touchdowns. So
he was quite the disappointment. I don't know who was
the last one whose kind of annoyed the hell.

as a six offensive lineman to block for CMC to
