Speaker 2 (00:54):
All right, my magical friends of your Live for today's show,
and as always, I'm so excited to be and so
excited if you're whether you're joining live or you'll see
us in the future. I was outside on a hike.
My lashes are a little off if you're watching, but
it's been so gorgeous and this is my favorite time

(01:16):
of year. I live in Aspen and the aspen leaves
and the trees and the sage brush and it's like
oranges and yellows. And I'm sure in a lot of
different places, in different parts of the world, fall for
some reason is just my favorite season because it represents transformation.
And whenever we're transforming, and wherever we're in the middle

(01:38):
of the muck, right, it's not always comfortable. And so
sometimes we will ask for something seems way beyond our
control or seems way off in the future, like it
can't happen right now. And when we get really aligned
with that desire, with that dream, with that vision, what

(02:01):
happens is the beginning of a transformation. And then in
the middle of that transformation, anything that's not aligned with
the future where you want to go starts to fall apart,
starts to leave your life, maybe a little chaos, maybe
a new job, maybe a divorce, right, And so the
middle of transformation is always uncomfortable and if people go, oh,

(02:24):
poor me, but what we fail to look at is
what's on the other side. And what's on the other
side is everything you've ever been asking for. It. So
today's topic, which I'm super excited about, is the power
of believing, right and the mistake that most people make
when they're trying to manifest. And I'll tell a little

(02:45):
story because this is a huge AHAs so on my
vision board and I haven't I don't really talk about
my dreams out loud because a lot of people they
have an opinion. They don't think it's possible. They think
it's outrageous whatever their universe is, which is not relevant
to what my universe is. And I'm saying that to
all of you. Your dreams are not relevant to other

(03:10):
people's perspective. Your dreams are relevant to your perspective. And
so I personally tend to not share a lot about
the future I want to create because it's nobody's business,
but mine is all I get there, right, And so
I like to kind of fly under the raidar sometimes create,

(03:31):
you know, in my own little world and see what
does manifest. So about four or five years ago, I
was like, oh, I love the g Wagons. And actually
it was like twelve years ago. Someone came to my class,
so it came by gag and I was like that
thinks sweet, that would be fun, right, And I kind

(03:55):
of let it go. And about five years ago years ago,
I was like, what kinds of cars would be fun
for me to drive? Right? And I was like, ooh,
a g Wagon And I was like white black black
with white leather interior. And I was like, ooh, gold
with sparkles, right, just like visioning. And so the other day,
I'm on a walk and someone says to me, if
you could drive any BMW water drive, I'm think i'd

(04:21):
really drive Mercedes. Not my that's not my my personal
car that I would tend to want to drive immediately.
No wrongness about it, nothing bad, It's just not right.
So I'm sitting there and I'm hiking out in the
beautiful colors and the beautiful sunshine, listening to an audio

(04:41):
having the best like just like moments of gratitude and
feeling just grateful for life in general. And all of
a sudden, I was like, and I was thinking about Mercedes.
Would is there a Mercedes car I would drive? I've
driven several, right, never owned one, but have driven several
throughout the years. And all of a sudden, I was like, oh,

(05:01):
my god, a g Wagon, right. And as soon as
I said that, my whole body got happy. My heart
kind of leapt up. And instantaneously, a small little gardener snake, right,
and I'm terrified the snakes. A small little gardener snake
across my path. My heart kind of popped open, and
I just sudden became possible in my universe. The g

(05:26):
Wagon instead of being five years in the future, ten
years in the future, could be right now. And when
I started imagining actually driving a G wagon, the color,
the interior, how it feel, the sunglasses I would draw,
where where I would drive it right, how I would
feel pulling up to clients houses with it. All of

(05:47):
a sudden, like other things in my world that I've
been looking to manifest, started to open. And so I
wanted to have a conversation today about the power of believing.
And so all of us right have the power of belief.
But here's what most of us do with belief. We

(06:10):
look at where we are now. Right, Let's say you're
making thirty thousand dollars a year, fifty thousand dollars a year,
one hundred thousand dollars a year, and you want to
be making two hundred and fifty. You want to be
making a millionaire. You're renting, and you want to be
living in a home, living you know, in Kansas, living
in Europe, right where whatever it is for you, and

(06:33):
you go, Okay, in order to do that thing, it's
going to take me x amount of time. It's going
to take me two years, it's going to take me
five years, It's going to take a decade. Right. And
this is the mistake that most people make when they're
trying to manifest is they get the dream, they get

(06:55):
the vision, they get vision will make them feel. But
then they look at all the present roadblocks in their
life and they elongate the timeline in which that manifestation
could come to fruition. Manifestations happen when right. Like Napoleon Hill,
and I'll be paraphrasing, he says, if you can dream

(07:17):
it and you get the what he says something to
the effect of, you get your desire so strong for it, right,
the belief of that desire so strong, then you can
achieve it. Right. If you can believe in the dream
and the desire is so strong, then you can achieve it.
What most of us do is we push the desire

(07:41):
out into the future because we're looking at the practical
reality of where we are. Right and so the other
day on the trail with the g wagon and the
snake crossing my path, and snakes for me always nature Right.

(08:01):
When I became a hairdresser, which led me to the
path of being an intuitive consultant, I thought it was
the craziest thing in the world. But I was out
on a hike on a meditation listening to a meditation CD,
and this voice from the heavens, like a male, strong voice,
as if he was on a megaphone, said you're going
to be a heal like the healing hands hairdresser. And

(08:23):
I was like, serious hairdresser, nothing, no disrespect to hair
hair dresser in a world I was in the psychology world,
and before that, I was in the real estate world,
so hairdressing was not on my radar. It felt like
a crazy, like left turn out of nowhere. And so
as soon as I heard that voice, within a minute

(08:46):
or two, thirteen deer cross my path on this hike,
and the first seven looked at me, and I just
looked up at the heavens and I went and got it.
And in less than a year, I'd become a hair
dresser that attracted CEOs and company owners and like really
cool characters and had the best clients in the world

(09:09):
because I was like, you know what, I'm not going
to just take whatever. We're coming back business with clients
I love. And what I discovered is being a hairdresser
is one of the quickest ways to hear everybody's secrets
and nowadays eyelash like I get my eyelashes done and
my old left right, because people don't feel judged by

(09:33):
a hairdresser. But when I was in the psychology world
and seeing clients and you know, doing therapy, people edit
what they tell their therapists. I know I have in
the past and so, but having that experience as a
hairdresser led me to start my own consulting business in

(09:55):
the in the intuitive way. So I coach and consult
on business, on buying properties, on negotiating business deals, on lawsuits,
on divorces, on physical ailments in people's body. I kind
of do it all and I love it, and so

(10:16):
the title was consultant, but intuitive consultant. Everyone's like, what
does that mean? I'm a good question. I just read
the energy and give people the information and they can
either take it or leave it. And I always tell
people I'm human. I mess up every day. I'm so perfect,
but I do love my life and I'm doing the
best I can. And I also have my bad days. Right,

(10:37):
I had a bad few years and feel like I'm
coming and I want to say bad. I had a
few very challenging years where I was really who I
wanted to be in the world and how I wanted
to show up and changing, going from working way too
many hours to now focusing on my son and enjoying

(10:59):
what my business creates, right, and so on that hike,
I was like a airdresser. That's insane, right, but it
led me to manifest my dream job. People ask me
what would I do if I could do anything in
the world. If money was an issue, I'd be like,
I would be doing exactly what I'm doing today, exactly right.

(11:22):
Maybe a few tweaks, maybe I'd have a bigger repertoire,
maybe I'd do some other things, but I would be
doing exactly what I'm doing. And so the other day
on a coaching call, a group coaching call, I have
this program called the Life Shift Awakening System, and it's
been amazing to walk a group of people through. Currently

(11:44):
it's on a waitlist, right, but you can certainly go
to my website put yourself on the waitlist if you'd
like to join in the future. And we're having this
conversation and she said, one of my dreams is to
own a retreat center, right, to own a cabin in
the woods where I can host retreats, where I can offeration,

(12:06):
can kind of walk people through changing their lives. And
I was like, that sounds amazing. And she's like, yeah,
it's probably like at least five years out into the future.
And I said why why is it five years out
in the future. She's like, well, I think I'm going
to keep my current business for at least another five years,
and then it's going to take me a while to
buy the cabin, and I'm gonna have to like set

(12:29):
up the land appropriately and you know, blah blah blah.
And I was like wow. And then I said, I said,
how would you feel if you started teaching meditation right now? Right?
And we got into this whole conversation and she went
from so the question I asked her, and this is
the mistake that most people make is they have a dream,
they have a desire. So we'll take her and it

(12:52):
was a cabin in the woods so she could host retreats, right,
And I said to her, what is your belief that
that vision can happen in the next six to twelve months?
And she's like, oh, it's like two two. And then
she gave me all of the reasons logically that it

(13:13):
would take that long, and within a few minutes we
got her from a two to like a seven eight,
and you know what, her world opened up. And so
I think that the mistake that most people make when
they're trying to manifest is they're constantly putting what they

(13:33):
want to actualize out into the future because they're looking
at the present roadblocks. But if you begin to kind
of what I call like time like you hop timelines,
you squash the timeline of the expedition, because the universe

(13:53):
does not function in time. It functions in creation. It
functions in energy vibrations. And all that's required is for
you to get on the same vibration as what you
want and then get your belief that happen in the
next six to twelve months right to a seven, eight, nine, ten.

(14:15):
And when you get into a ten, things can show
up in days. And here's the fun part is when
you start sort of going from a one to two belief,
it can happen in the next six to twelve months
to an eight nine, all of a sudden, what you
see is possible completely changes. You start functioning too, dreaming

(14:40):
and thinking about those things happening sooner rather than farther
out into the future gets you happier. When you're happier,
you raise your vibration. When you raise your vibration, your
metabolism changes. Right, all these health benefits, you know. I
have people all the time and say I had no
idea you were that old, right, And I'm like, they're like,
you don't act it. I'm like, thank god, right, thank god.

(15:04):
And they're like, oh and I never guessed. I'm like, yeah,
because my energy is How can I wake up this
morning is a perfect example. I woke up stressed, I
woke up cranky. I woke up with way too much
of my plate. I've been working a lot, and I
love what I do, right, And as long as I'm

(15:26):
getting out and hiking in the sun at this time
of year, or getting outside or going to yoga or
taking care of myself, I could work twelve fifteen hours
a day, right, Not that I want to all the time,
but I actually enjoy it because I love what I do.
But I woke up cranky this morning, right, and I

(15:47):
was like, oh, this do doesn't feel good? Right, doesn't
feel good?

Speaker 3 (15:53):
And so.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
It took me a minute to go oh wow, I
am using all this energy on something negative. How can
I turn it around? Right? And my partner he was like, ah,
I I you're I'm like, oh yeah. And it's so

(16:18):
funny because he knows I'm cranky before I even know
him cranky, right, And so I'm like, how did you know?
He's like, I could just tell I always know when
you're not in a good place before I even talk
to him. And so it was funny. He luckily was
in a space that just got me out of it
really quickly, and I was like, wow, I'm focusing on

(16:40):
the wrong energy right now. And within a few minutes,
I went from cranky, from stressed out to looking at
everything I have to do instead of everything I get
to do, and I went, oh my gosh. And it
shifted My whole morning shifted, My mood got out sunshine,

(17:01):
you know. And so I think that it's a really
important conversation. And for those of you that look at manifesting,
that want to use the law of attraction, that really
know that we get your energy. But here's something that's
not talked about, right, is that if you can get aligned,

(17:25):
but your belief that it can happen in the next
six to twelve months is a two. It's going to
keep being pushed off into the future. So you want
to get what you want vibing that you can believe
it's possible happening in the next six to twelve months.

(17:46):
And I'll give you an examples. Right, So I want
to buy a home and Aspen, and I have all
these logical roadblocks of how long it's going to take
and why it's going to take that long, and I
was like, oh my god. So as soon as the
gas experience, and then I visualize myself driving a gig,
not that I'm going to choose that, but all of

(18:07):
a sudden, I was like, I could buy one now
if I if I really wanted. And then I was
like hmm, and it opened up, and then my business
and energy opened up, and I could buy a house shortened,
and so you never know what you can create, right,
But what you want to do is look at realistically

(18:31):
right on a scale of one to ten, one being
not so much, ten being yes, right now, I believe
it could happen, right of what's the probability of you
believing that this can happen in six or twelve months?
And if you focus your energy is there? Right, Like

(18:53):
Napoleon Hill says, if you can dream it, and you
can believe in the dream, and then you have a
stroke long desire to get it, then you can achieve it. Right.
And here's where it gets really interesting is you can

(19:14):
literally shorten the gap so much if you give yourself
permission to believe that it can happen. Now, it's not
about forcing things, but it's about being realistic, and I
don't mean realistic, realistic, truthful with yourself of your belief

(19:35):
system on a scale of zero to tack right. Pretty fascinating,
incredible stuff. So we're going to continue this conversation. If
you're interested, keep it going. If you want to call
in and have me walk you through how to shorten
your timeline, please feel free to call us. Let me
grab the number, because I know it's here somewhere, right,

(20:01):
But you can call in and I'd be happy to
lie walk you through. If you don't want me to
use your name, you can stay anonymous, right, And so
the phone number is two zero two five seven zero
seven zero five seven, and I'll take live callers. But
we got to stay on topic. Not going to do it.

(20:22):
It's off topic. All right, take a break and then
we'll be back for the second half the show. Stay tuned.

We are talking about right the power of believing and
the mistake that most should slow down because I get

(23:23):
excited when I get excited to talk really fast, the
mistake that most people make when manifesting. And we've been
talking about really getting that desire honed in, like right now,
right right now, and so one of the mistakes that
people make is that besides looking at the current roadblocks

(23:45):
that they think are in the way of the manifesting,
they keep pushing their dreams and their desires out into
the future, like, oh, this will happen in five years,
or all this will happen ten years years. Well, he not.
If you get aligned your belief is at a ten,
that can happen in six to twelve months, right. But

(24:07):
one of the mistakes that people make is they're looking
at their current situation and they're using the results they're
currently showing up in their life. Is the validation that's
going to take a long time. They're also looking for
results that are different than what's showing up to try

(24:31):
to validate that they're headed in the right direction. But
here's the deal. If you leave it up to the
universe to let you know if you're on the right track,
you're going to be chasing a ping bomb ball, right
or chasing a shiny ball, and so your energy won't

(24:51):
be completely aligned. And when your energy isn't clear, then
the universe gives you a little something here, and a
little something here here in a little something here, Well,
this is what I'm getting, so say yes to this,
and this is what I'm getting. So let me say
this this instead of getting really clear, when you get
really clear. And I had an amazing intuitive do a

(25:12):
reading for me a couple of weeks ago, and she
you know, even though I'm an intuitive, it's helpful for
me to get information from other people and then sort
of filter it through mine because I have my blind spots,
I have my roadblocks. And so she said to me.
He said, Katherine, you're probably one of the most incredible man,

(25:32):
but you're not being clear. You're like sitting there with
your arms crossed, waiting for the universe asign from the
universe versus the universe is waiting for you to go
this is exactly what I want, and oh my gosh.
When it's exactly what I want, it feels good. And
so this is another key component. If it's exactly what

(25:56):
you want and it feels good, right, good, good, then
you're on the right track. But if it's like, oh,
I think I want this, but you're not on the
right track and it's not feeling good, then it's either
not the right time or it needs a tweaking. So

(26:18):
I'll give an example again. I was looking at Bowie
Q seven's, right, I currently have one, right right, because
I'm like, oh, it's wintertime my car. No, it's that's
what I currently have. I kind of want another one
because I love driving them, and and and I was like, oh, maybe, right,

(26:39):
I get a new car for winter. And I was
looking at Q seven's it started to get heavy, and
I was like, oh, this is like, oh I don't
like that color and oh I don't like that price
with that mile legit. Oh like you know, blah blah.
And a sudden, the g wagon idea came along and like,
lighten my load, And now the Q seven's lighter again.
And so so the point being is you've got to

(27:02):
get really clear with the universe. Now, that doesn't mean
I would like a black Mercedes with black leather interior
twenty twenty two, you know whatever. Like sometimes it's I
want something that's easy and fun and aligned and makes
me feel good every time I think about it. So
if you're getting too specific, and that too specific isn't

(27:23):
feeling good, then you got to make it a little
bit more general. Right. But one of the mistakes that
people make, and I want you guys, this is Stop
looking for the results from the universe to validate whether
or not you're on the right track. Stop looking at
your friend's approval or your mentor's approval for whether or

(27:45):
not you're on the right track. You're on the right
track if you feel good, right, you're on the right track.
If you feel good. I'm making some life changes and
some life choices, and you know what, I'm feeling good
about it. Not ever in my life is going to
understand that right away, And that's okay. I still love them.

(28:05):
There's nothing wrong with their opinion. I'm just not going
to entertain their opinion to throw me off course, right,
Just get this really powerful distinction. So the you bring
to the table is start dreaming. Maybe it's the things

(28:26):
that you're like. Like For me, I'm like, I'd like
a new microphone for my radio show because currently today
I don't have one. I mean I do, but then
set it up today, right, and I'm like, ooh, I'd like,
what are some I'll take a new iPhone? Right. I
know I can get both of those things in less
than three months. But it's funny, both of those things

(28:48):
have been putting off for a long time because they're
just not that important. But when something is really important
and you want it now, right, like when read and
you want a good meal and it now, nothing's going
to stop you from getting a good meal, right, Nothing's
going to stop you from having a really good cup
of coffee. Right. But we put these caveats on these

(29:12):
bigger dreams and we go, oh, it's going to take
a really long time. And so the coaching call. I
was on group coaching call when I was coaching these people.
I was like, Hey, your cabin in the woods might
take you five years, but your energy not letting you
be excited about it because you're putting it. How do

(29:38):
we do excited about the energy of the cabin in
the woods now? And she was like, oh my gosh.
And I said to her, I said, if you could
be teaching the retreats that you want to be teaching
right now, would you say yes to it? She was
like yes, And I'm like, great, okay, And if you
started saying yes, and her energy shifted immediately, And I said,

(30:00):
if you could test to that, do you think that
maybe you would also increase your incompas She's like yes,
And I said, would you want to keep your current
practice five to seven days a week, and she's like, no,
I'd want to come down to three or four days
a week. I'm like, exactly, which would make the retreats possible.

(30:23):
And so we don't know how many mental roadblocks we
are putting in the way of manifesting our dreams. But
what you can tell is, Okay, this dream I have,
what's the probability of zero six months to twelve months?
Zero through ten? Where am I at? And if you're

(30:44):
at a one, or two, or three or four, you
want to get yourself to at eight, nine or ten,
and even a seven, feeling good vibe and high opening
the door to new possibilities. And so you never know
what's around the corner. And I will say this. We
started the show talking about transformation. It is a great

(31:06):
time of transformation right now, and people are in it.
I know I was in it all summer, had the
best summer of my life. But I was in it
right and I know a lot of people right now
they're in it. They're craving more freedom, right, They're craving
more like feelings of abundance, They're craving more adventure, they're

(31:30):
craving more quality, time with the people craving more wealth, right,
But whatever it is, people are craving this sort of freedom,
this independence, this connection, right, and that means that the

(31:50):
old's gotta go. So transformation happens. And so in the
mix of manifestation, there's always transformation. And you can look
at the place that you're going your in current I'm
in a terrible place where you can go, wow, something

(32:13):
must be changing. So can what can I enjoy about
what's in my life right now? And so for any
of you out there having a challenging time with life,
I'm and invite you do an appreciation.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Right.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
I was out on my hike and I was like,
I love this and I'm grateful for this, and I
appreciate this in my life and I love this and
all my amazing friends and just and it was like, wow, okay, cool,
I feel better, and so woe is me? Remember I
woke up this morning not feeling so good, a little pissy,
little cranky, little honor, focusing on the wrong thing, focusing

(32:52):
on the closed door when I could have been focusing
on all the open doors. And I got outside, right,
got on a hike. My man talked me off the
left and I was like, okay, got it. Got it.
So to all of you out there, one day at
a time, one moment at a time, one energy shift
at a time, it is to you to start to

(33:16):
pay attention to how you feel. Get clear with your
wishes and your desires. Right, get those wishes and desires
to attend, shrink the timeline and go freacking live your
life because you never know what's around the corner. And
I say this right today is the day that could
change your life. And it's not a giant life shift

(33:40):
that changes your life. It's a one tiny, one degree
mental perspective shift that completely can change the course of
your life. And so stay true to you, stay tuned,
get clear on your dreams and your visions. If the
show contributed to you, please feel free to share it
and want to say thank you all for being here

(34:01):
and we'll see you next week. Bye for now.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
