Speaker 3 (02:09):
Well, yesterday I didn't have such a good day. Saint
John's out of the tournament. Didn't expect to see that. Also,
I brought him back, my may man, Dan Cameron d
Sports Pleasure. Good morning, Daniel, how are you brother?

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Good morning?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, I had to bring you back.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
Man.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
You got to help me out with the bank roll,
because yesterday I got what do you say, Saint John's
was playing medieval basketball. I mean you're talking about a
team didn't have a three point shot, and you know
I respect Saint John's. John Calipari got to give them
a shout out to those guys. Over at Arkansas was

(02:48):
the Battle of the Godfather's. Calipari comes out on top,
but again shout out Saint John's great season, but we're
gonna talk about it when we come back. Also, Jake
Poppy's gonna be stopping by the big board this morning again.
Had him on the line with us yesterday, gave us
some insights and I warned you guys about Saint John's yesterday.
Were they too tired to play? Was it gonna be
too many games in two few weeks? And it ended

(03:11):
up biting us yesterday. Doks weren't really barking, but Ronnie B,
I'll let you get a quick shout out in Dan
Cameron you as well. We'll take a short commercial break,
come back with Jake Poppy and then we got the
roundtable today guys. Because it's Sunday, we got to dig
some cash back out. Woke up this morning to some
people hating online again.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
And gave me a pit sock.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, big was it that day? I was like, well,
you know it happened sometime again. I'm not on the court.
We're just giving you what we think. But Ronnie B,
go ahead, Yeah, let's.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Give a shout out again to that big ten and
they keep rowlings. H loved one game yesterday, a close
one with with Samson, but the other team are still
are still moving through the back.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
You had a big ten got Michigan online today, Dan
Cameron quick shout out one of your thoughts. Go ahead, hey, cat.

And thank you so much for that good to try
to redeem ourselves today. Yesterday I picked about thirty three percent.
I took a three team scheme and got schemed out.
I took Drake Saint John's and BYU. Shout out to
BYU for the one dog that barked for me. But
we're gonna make it back today again. My may Man,

(04:30):

(07:29):
Cameron and Jake Poppy, we gotta bring back the cast
that she lost yesterday, because the dogs gotta be barking
today getting into that sweet sixteen for you n C
double A tournament. Good morning, Jake, how you doing? You know,
I gotta let the beats bump this morning, shake out
all those cobwebs. How you doing?

Speaker 9 (07:47):
Morning? Gone? Thanks grabbing me out.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I'm glad to have you back. Ronnie Bee is there
as well as Dan Cameron. That's right, gotta give you
a little bit of wake up this morning. March madness
is in full effect. The cast has been going for
the favorites, dogs not so much. All the luck from
the conference tournaments have been drying up across the board.

(08:12):
All my brackets are completely done. I mean I looked
at it this morning and was like, looks like someone
took it to the shooting range. So it's pretty much
wiped out again. Yesterday, unfortunately, Saint John's ended up going
down to Arkansas. We talked about it. Possibly Saint John's
having too many games in two few weeks. Jake Poppy, again,
glad to have you back here with us this morning.

(08:33):
You kind of agreed with me on that yesterday, and again,
Ronnie B I know you had Saint John's in your
final four. You know, we lost out to them yesterday,
but you know, unfortunately my prediction kind of came true.
We wanted Saint John's to get there, but it just
seems like they ran out of gas. Jake Poppy, your
thoughts on that, then we'll go to you, Ronnie, and
then Dan Cameron we'll jump in with you as well,

(08:55):
because we were talking about it privately yesterday on our
text message on our private betting at work.

Speaker 9 (09:00):
Well go ahead, yeah, I know, we gave out Art
and Saw to cover and like that. What a What
a weird game for Saint John's shoots two twenty three
from three point range age yep, I mean they could
not hit their shots. The shocks were not falling. Man.
It was a tough matchup from the start.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
R J.

Speaker 9 (09:20):
Lewis I think saw like two of seventeen or something
for Saint John's, the best player like that just can't happen.
What an ugly game though for the Johns. I'm sad
they went down that way.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
But.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, you know, they had their best player on the
floor and then they took him off in the last
crucial minutes of the games. You know, he had a
very terrible air ball in the middle of the lane,
and I guess Patino kind of went back to the
nineties here and he just benched the kids big East
player of the year on the bench. Ronnie Be, your

(09:55):
thoughts on that. I know you had Saint John's to
go far. Do you think that was kind of a
coaching mishap there? Calipari kept his guys in it. Saint
John's kept clawing back. Yesterday, they should have been in
the dog position. They were still favorites in a lot
of the in game betting. Yesterday, a lot of sucker
bets were made because they kept clawing back in it.

(10:16):
But Arkansas just kept the foot on the gas, a
steady game. They kept getting the rebounds they needed, taking
advantage of the misshots. And let's not only talk about
yesterday thirty one miss layups from Saint John's. They were
too tired. That's their game, get to the cup and
put it in. But now you look at it and
you say, good season, great season. Saint John's's back on

(10:39):
the map. Calipari has already told you he's going to
get some big time transfers. But Ronnie Be, your thoughts
on those coaching decisions late in the game. Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I'll tell you what. That's either old school or good coaching.
But that would have done the same thing. When your
star players throwing up airballs and he's three for twenty
three or something for the game, just have it. You
put them on the bench and let him think about
it and watch what's going on. Because he was not
benefiting it. So he was putting too much stress on
himself to get the team home and it wasn't working out.

(11:10):
So I think Patino made the right call. It was
just Johnny's not they yet yesterday, won and done. That's
what the tournament's all about. If you can't make it
happen every day, you're not going to move forward.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
There you go. I mean, just real life tournament, won
and done. Here when you go back to you, Dan Cameron,
glad to have you back on the show. It's been
a while. You were going in heavy yesterday on a
Saint John's. You talked about their lethargicness, their inability to
convert on turnovers, and then just the amount of mishots

(11:44):
we saw yesterday. It's just not very common. But that's
what I talked about. Me and Jake Poppy. They were tired.
These guys played a tough Big East schedule, tough Big
East Tournament, going down to the regular end of the season,
winning the Big East Regular Season championship, the Big East
Tournament championship. Unfortunately, these guys were all championshipped out, so

(12:10):
they chipped out on us. Dan Cameron, your thoughts go ahead.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Yeah, I mean going back to taking your star player out.
I mean, we don't know what the conversation was, or
maybe he wasn't listening, maybe he wasn't doing the offense
the way he was supposed to be doing it. But
other than that, I don't like if he's just missing shots,
I don't see how you take your best player out.
That doesn't that doesn't compute for me. But you know,
Saint John's, you just can't miss how many shots? I mean,

(12:37):
that's just really you know, it's kind of like a
few years back when Buddy Hills was on Oklahoma, and yeah,
they were killing everybody by forty and then they just
couldn't make a bucket and they lost by forty. That's
kind of what happened to Saint John's. And you know,
they just, you know, they're just a year away, you know,
like cal Parry, they'll be back next year. But yeah,

(12:59):
it was a tough I don't know why you took
a star up, so I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Well, you know Ronnie B. You know, he played again.
You know, he's a big ten guy himself back in
the day at Indiana, so he kind of gets it.
I kind of get it too as a coach, you know,
as a former player. You know who's you know, chucked
up a few bricks in his day, you know, at
the wrong time, you know, getting you there been in
these type of games before. It's just tough when the

(13:26):
shots aren't falling. But you know, shout out to Saint
John's bringing New York back, bringing New York back. New
York college basketball is back. Hopefully Kaion Anthony's going to
be able to do some work up in Syracuse next year.
Let's move along to another team, talking about the big ten,
Michigan Water. Time to pick up their socks and get
rolling in the game. Beating Texas A and M yesterday

(13:48):
ninety one to seventy one. You talk about the big
ten Ronnie B. Now we're looking at where this tournament
is going. We see that the bracket is clearing out.
Sixteen teams are going to be left after to get
into that Sweet sixteen, we got to get through today's
Sunday games. Michigan, do you think they move ahead today?
I mean, you know, it's just like, look if they

(14:10):
beat Texas A and M, a team that's known for rebounding,
Michigan has found that gel. They're all playing together. Their
guys said it when they won the Big Ten tournament.
We're coming together at the right time. Do you think
this Michigan team now, which has struggled in the past
couple of seasons, now under their new head coach, are
they going to be a team to watch? Possibly going forward?

(14:30):
Like I said in that Sweet sixteen after beating A
and M yesterday, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Well, it's like we were talking about with Saint John's
when it's not going well for you. Right now, Michigan
is peaking at the right time. I mean, may'be been
playing some really good basketball here in the last five
six games at the right time of the tournament here.
So they're a dangerous team. I wouldn't want to get
in front of them right now because the balls dropping
in the hoop, the rebounds are coming to them. They're
making the right pass at the right time, they're running

(14:58):
the offense well, and they're hitting the board. So yeah,
right now they're a strong team because A and M
is most flocks and they beat him pretty handily in
the second half yesterday.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yes, they did, and they played together. Let's move along
to another game. Going over to you, Jake Poppy, you
got Auburn beating Crayton yesterday by twelve eighty two seventy.
Creighton put up a good fight. When I looked at
it again, going back to the box score, we talk
about taking the first half. Remember I gave you that
out yesterday on the show. Take Creighton in the first half.

(15:29):
They gave us that first half money line thirty seven
to thirty five, and then everything went downhill after that
three stop dropping defense got porous like Swiss cheeze. Jake Poppy,
your thoughts on Auburn moving forward. Bruce Pearl winning when
it counts. Didn't get that SEC championship, like we mentioned

(15:50):
a couple weeks ago, but it seems to be now
he's poised to try to get to that Elite eight.
Now that they punched their ticket to the Sweet sixteen.
Go ahead. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (16:00):
I think it was an impressive win for Auburn. You know,
Creighton hung around in that first half. Like you said,
great play there, JB. They were hitting the threes early,
the shots were dropping, and they were gonna hang around
as long as they were able to do that. We
knew Auburn was probably gonna win that game. Let's be honest.
You know it was a nine to nine of a
half point favorite, ten point dog. So I mean Auburn,

(16:22):
I think they're looking good. I think they're employsed. I
think they're playing that. You know, Michigan, Wow, it's gonna
be a good game. I'm surprised Michigan's here right now.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
That's what I'm talking about. Yep. Very surprised going down
to you, Dan Cameron, getting down to into the Southwest.
You got Houston yesterday show when they can put up
some buckets. Kelvin Samson shout out to head coach Slvin Samson, Lumberton,
North Carolina native, lum beat tri Remember there they beat
up on Gonzaga. You know, I wasn't happy with them

(16:51):
this year. Didn't even want to see them in the tournament.
They're finally gone. And when you talk about it, from
that perspective, Houston beating them eighty one seventy six, Gonzaga
getting the plus five and a half cover, but Houston
again not as dominant defense as we've seen in the past.
Gonzaga really opened up in the second half. They figured
out how to beat that box and one that Houston

(17:13):
likes to run, and they figured out how to beat
the trap, winning the second half forty nine forty six.
Remember I told you guys about breaking up the games
into the halves. Dan Cameron, your thoughts on that Houston team.
Are they still dangerous?

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Yeah, Houston, They're still my favorite to win it all
this year. They you know, yeah, they only won by five,
and yeah, they came back a little bit on them,
but let's be honest, Houston beat them down good. They
let them back into the game, and you know, they
hit some fucking up again. But honestly, it really wasn't
that close. Houston really won that game by about twelve

(17:47):
points in reality. And that just goes to Shorty, who
ho a good Gonzaga team down the way they did.
To be honest, you know, take away the actual score
and look at the actual game them down. Yeah, and
you watch that and it tells you the Houston team
is probably the best team in the nation.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Houston best team in the nation. You heard it here,
I mean man, Tanny Cameron. You got Tennessee SEC moving forward.
The ACC is all out of the tournament except for Duke.
When you look at where the Dogs are right now
blowing donuts, and I'm telling you it's a sad situation.
The Dogs are not barking in this tournament. But you

(18:28):
got Tennessee, a number two seed, showing they've got some muster.
We'll go to you, Ronnie be finishing it out. You
got BYU one of the mid majors coming in getting
past Wisconsin yesterday, one of the first Big ten teams
to actually fall. But Tennessee, Ronnie b. Do you think
Tennessee is still going to be a team to watch?
Go ahead?

Speaker 4 (18:48):
So I'm sure they're going to be a team to
watch because you know you're a two seed. You get
Ziggler at the point guard that handles the ball real well,
and yesterday make a hand tip to bay you they
shot the ball well fifty from both to the heart
and the inside. So it's tough for Wisconsin. They almost
pulled it out, but WU played a gameyas today still

(19:09):
won the game.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
There you go BYU getting it done. One of the
dogs that you can bark with here with US VSX
Digital Sports Network's going to take a quick commercial break
when I come back, guys, we're jumping into it. Today's
a lineup. We've got Duke Baylor, Yukon, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky. Oh,

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Back cats.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
You live here with my cohorts Ronnie B. King of
the ramp Parkasino here locally in Las Vegas, Jake Poppy
out in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and of course my main man
from Sedona, Arizona, Dan Cameron. Talking about this bracketology. Here
been some big time wins for the favorites. I saw

(22:01):
a stat earlier today. Teams that are double digit I
think maybe eleven through sixteen seeds gone. Okay, they didn't
go anywhere. Carolina ended up losing in the first round
of Old Miss. Old Miss is going to be coming back.
You got Michigan again. There's a lot of teams that
we expected to do well from that mid major conference setup.

(22:25):
And I wanted to talk a little bit about this
with Jake Poppy and the rest of you guys as well.
Take a minute or two here. But the mid majors,
you talk about the nil, you talk about the transfer portal,
probably going to be fifty thousand kids in the transfer
portal by the next week after the final games that
are done today. When you talk about mid majors, though
eleven through fifteen seeds, some of the top teams in

(22:49):
their divisions, in their conferences, they didn't fare too well.
Do you think that's something we're going to continue to see?
And also with the proliferation of these secondary tournaments and
then there's one here in Vegas called the Crown again,
giving these guys a free plug golfing makes them happy.
Maybe even start offering cash for winning tournaments. Do you

(23:10):
think maybe some of the mid majors are going to
start opting out? I mean, you know, you talk about
dancing and you know, you know, going to the big
dance and all that. I mean you're basically going to
the park on the train and getting sent home. Going
over to you, Jake Poppy your thoughts.

Speaker 9 (23:27):
Yeah, you know, I think we're going to continue to
see it, that's for sure, especially in the NIL day now.
I think it's going to be. You know, these are
going to be the tournaments we get, They're not going
to be as exciting. They're going to be kind of
boring and expected. I don't think they're going to see
some jops out. I mean, it's still the tournament, especially
a mid major. You know, they need the money and
all the all that money that a tournament brings. I mean,

(23:49):
look what McNeice just. Did you know that a mere
calling guy just brought him so much money?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Make me just I don't think.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
You see those teas gets Be.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
I mean, I get what you're saying about McNeice, but again,
it's not helping the mid majors. The coach is leaving,
the managers leaving. The manager got more NIL money than
the players. It's not voting. Well, Ronnie Be, your thoughts
on this when you talk about mid majors now, having
options in the pay for play era. If you were
say a Drake yesterday that lost to who they lose to?

(24:24):
They lost to Texas Tech. Yeah, they lost to Texas Tech,
and you get an invite to be an eleven seed,
a thirteen seed in the tournament, to get sent home
or play in a tournament. Say a million dollars is
on the line for the winner of that tournament, for
that team. Kind of what they're doing. You know what

(24:45):
they did with that D three tournament. We have a
tournament here in Vegas called the Crown. I think the
winner of that either the program the team. I mean,
I know the players are going to get a piece
of it, but it's a million dollars. If you're a
kid with those mid major in IOL deals, which are
mostly free food and maybe a gas cart at your
local Sinoco, I would rather go to the cash tournament

(25:08):
than go get blown out in the first round of
the NCAA tournament for no reason. I mean, what's the point?

Speaker 4 (25:14):
Go ahead, Well, what I see happening. I'm old school,
as you know. You know, back in the day, you
had players that are playing three to four years at
the same school. There was no moving around there was
no opting out. There was no one and done. And
you also had coaches with contracts that were solid that
you know, if you signed a five year contract as
a coach, you're staying there for five years. You know,

(25:36):
everything is one and done now. So these programs are
not going to build up unless they change some of
the good rules for the contracts to be honored. So
I don't know what's going to happen here with sports.
I think it's going to get more watered down, and
I think you're going to have just the cream of
the crop with the money. Just like any professional court,
the ones with the money's going to show up at

(25:57):
the dance. That's what's going to happen.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Yeah, I mean, and that's what I'm saying again. Going
to the mid majors, going down to you. You're in Arizona,
Dan Cameron. You guys switch conferences, a lot of upheaval.
You got teams in the Southwest. Arizona's going up against
Oregon and today always going to be some Pac twelve

(26:19):
type of matchup there. But you see these smaller teams
coming out and you say to yourself, a team like Creighton,
a team like you know, going back to my bracket Lipscomb, Brian.
I mean, these are teams that could use the money.
You see San Diego, Akron, Montana. I would rather go

(26:40):
play for cash in a postseason, winner take all type
tournament then to go and say, hey guys, I'm playing
in the NCAA tournament. I'll be back on Tuesday. Like
Dan Cameron, your thoughts on this. I understand the you know,

(27:00):
nostalgia value of it. But in il transfer a portal,
teams like Carolina out in the first flour. We talked
about this. They can't get the recruits. You got Mount
Saint Mary scraping in and then losing Texas in the
first four. This type of stuff is telling me that

(27:22):
some entrepreneur somewhere big money is going to put something
together and say then they kind of have something like
that in Vegas. But I think it's going to expand.
And the reason why I say that is for a
mid major conference, non conference football pays you money, you
show up, you get beat, you win, maybe you get
some notoriety, you become the app and Lachian State, which

(27:43):
is the carrot and the stick. But for basketball, it
just ain't happening. I mean, how much money in il
money can you get going to Omaha unless Berkshire Hathaway
sponsors you. Again, shout out to Warren Buffett, that's his hometown, Omaha, Nebraska.
Unless Warren is kicking you a check. What's the point.

(28:04):
But if you can win and do well in that
conference and get a chance to play in a conference
tournament for money or a postseason tournament for real cash,
real money that these kids can get, now, I think
we may start seeing a decline of this NCAA tournament.
I know they were talking about expanding it to more teams,
but you talk about the economic value of it, I'm
just not seeing it, Especially for smaller schools in this

(28:27):
big money era, they've got to make decisions to put
cash in your pocket. Dan Cameron, I know I've been
talking go ahead.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
Yeah, I mean, you know it's gonna be a watch
and see, it's gonna depend on how much exposure something
like that gets, because you know, if you lose and
you don't get a million dollars and you don't get
the exposure you would have got going too the other tournament,
then it's not gonna hold a lot of value. So
you know, it's kind of a wait and see. But

(28:55):
I mean it's it's fun. It's exciting to see something
new happen. I think, and you know it could lead to,
you know, a third tournament with more competition. It could
be fun, you know.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Yeah. I mean when you talk about it, you know,
you go to that type of tournament and say you
don't win. Let's say if you accept, you get a
front cash bonus. Money's gonna get thrown around here again.
We got something called the College Basketball Crown, introducing a
new postseason, reigning college basketball tournament. And the reason I'm
talking about this is because it was quite unique. Of course,

(29:30):
it's hosted here in Vegas. University of Central Florida is participating.
Jake Poppy, I want to go back to you, being
a former college player, just lay it all on the
line here. You're not under scholarship no more. I'm seeing
teams that realistically should be here. I'm seeing George Washington, UCF, Tulane,
Boise State. I see Butler's going to be flying out here. Colorado.

(29:51):
You got DePaul coming in here. And I'm seeing this
off of all the logos, tou Lane. This is a
tournament USC. We're the home of USC. Here at KSHP
one or seven point WFMA and fourteen hundred Georgetown. Again
I think I mentioned them. That's the type of tournament
I might want to see because if I can win
some money or maybe get an invite for cash, and

(30:11):
I know I'm going to be a fifteen seed in
the tournament. Dan Cameron's talking about exposure. Ronnie b is
talking about classic basketball business structure. But you being a
recent player coming out of that COVID era and now
seeing where things are going with cash and players from
no name schools. They talk about this nil money, but
it really is the same type of money you may

(30:34):
have gotten before. You know, fifty dollars under the table.
I buy a kid of Hamburger stuff that they would
have had a conniption for twenty five years ago. Lone
a kid a suit. For Christ's sakes, you end his
whole career. But now again, the NCAA Tournament. We are
down to Sunday. This thing started Thursday. It's sixteen teams.

(30:55):
There is no FAU this year. There will be none
of that. In the words of Paul Mooney, But go ahead,
Jake Poppy your thoughts as a former player. Then we'll
get into some of these picks.

Speaker 9 (31:09):
Yeah, I mean, and maybe I am a little salty
because you know, the NIL wasn't wasn't in place, and
I was some minutes I was good.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
But no, I would say that.

Speaker 9 (31:21):
You know, I definitely think that it brings up a
great a great idea. You know that they want to
make money, and this is going to be a new
way to make money. You know, more tournaments. I expected
more tournaments because of the NIL. There's going to be
more money in it now, you know. And they're going
to have these teams. In most teams anyway, these players
are going to want to hump in and keep playing.

(31:42):
This is going to be their last chance of playing
basketball for some of those you know, mid major schools,
unless you're a big time guy that transfers and might
get shot to play. But you know what I mean,
I think this is your last big shot, big games.
I would definitely want to play. Maybe that's just me,
but I could definitely could see that happening and a
lot of those tournaments and stuff become more common.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Yeah. I The reason I bring this up is because
you guys know, I love football. I saw it in
football when I saw entire teams opting out of bull games.

Speaker 6 (32:12):
You know.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Whoa You know, we did a whole season of analysis
on this quarterback, this running back, this wide receiver, and
now all of a sudden, these guys are in the
transfer portal or have signed with an agent to go
to the NFL, and the change in that respect. Now
looking at where basketball is, this is one of the
worst showings of lower seeds in the NCAA tournament in
the last ten to fifteen years. Again, there is no Cinderella.

(32:40):
No one is losing their shoe if you will here.
But the reality is simple. You've got teams that are
good and teams that are going to continue to build
upon what they're doing. And I think that for smaller
schools it may be interesting. You've got tournaments already out there,
the n IT, you got this new Crown. I don't
know what happened into the ce They had a CIIT,

(33:02):
the CBI. There's a lot of things out there, and
for sports betters, that's always a good thing. More games.
But we may see separation, if you will, I mean,
if a big time school, if it's like the Power
five tournament, kind of like college football, college football, you know,

(33:23):
you can be you know, liberty eleven to zero. You're
not going into college football playoffs and now have look
at they did the Florida State. They were like, no, no, sorry,
it's not gonna happen. So I think that college basketball
would do well with the tournament, just saying, look, relegating
this the top five conferences. You got to be able
to play ball because we don't want to see any

(33:44):
more eighty two fifty fives Iowa stayed over Lipsco type stuff.
But let's go into today's matchups again being brought to
you by our friends at Fubo TV. Thank you guys
so much for listening to our analysis on the game.
We tend to be right a lot of the time because,
like I said, I'm bringing on people who have lived it.
I've lived it, and most importantly, we want you guys

(34:05):
to get some money on the betting line today. So
let's take a talk about it. Yukon and Florida. This
is the big matchup that everyone's been talking about. Florida
rotation number eight six zero minus nine, very expensive, five
point twenty five. You gotta lay on Florida today to
get a couple dollars back. Connecticut plus nine, dog barking,

(34:27):
I don't know about that. Okay, this isn't the same
Connecticut team that was winning national championships last year. They
don't have the size. They may have the grit, But
I saw that sixty minutes interview with coach Dan Hurley.
He was like, well, help, my team is leaving on Thursday,
and uh, you know so, I'm not too concerned about
what Connecticut is going to do here today. At plus

(34:49):
four h five, I think Florida rolls here, guys, Going
over to you, Ronnie b Florida. Is this an easy
one for him today? In the totals one to fifty,
go ahead.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
I gotta bet it on this game already. But it's
the first half. Bet Hey, let me give you why here,
Connecticut the last sixteen games is oh and sixteen in
the first half.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Don't come out so terrible.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
Everybody listening right now, You've got a half hour to
punch it in and take that lay that minus five
here with Florida in the first half, and you should
have some money coming back too.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
There you go. He likes the first half in this game.
Going to you, Dan Cameron, when you talk about Connecticut
right now, averaging seventy seven points a game, Florida thirty
one and four eighty five points a game, rebounding edge
Florida forty four to thirty eight, and the assists is all.
Connecticut's got them on with about one point four more

(35:43):
with seventeen and a half. But Florida is just loaded.
Connecticut has got to play team ball to even have
a chance that minus nine. A lot of people are
Connecticut fans think they can get a hold of that.
I'm not too sure about that. I mean, Connecticut, are
they gelling at the right time? Go ahead, Dan, and
then we'll get over to you. J Bobby.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
Yeah, I mean I agree. I like that first half
bet by running Bee. But yeah, I h the Florida
team is they're oh man, they are a good team.
Oh Man, It's gonna be hard for Connecticut to cover
that nine point I you know, I geez, I think

(36:22):
Florida wins my about twelve, so it could be close.
But I you know, maybe if Connecticut can hit some
buckets in the second half. But oh man, the Florida team,
that's that's that's a tough one. That's gonna be a
tough matchup for Connecticut.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
There you go, going to you, Jake, Bobby, Jake, Bobby,
go ahead.

Speaker 9 (36:40):
Yeah, the Florida team is super tough.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
You know.

Speaker 9 (36:42):
I even have him in a final and probably a
champion or one of my brackets too. And but I
do think I like this Yukon spot today at the
nine and a half. Maybe buy it up a few.
I love Early. You know, he's one of the best
coaches in college basketball. I think he's gonna have his
team ready to go in this underdog spots or back
to back champions, you know what I mean. He's gonna

(37:04):
have him hyped out that they're underdogs like this. I
know this Florida team's really talented and should win, but
I'm gonna take Yukon on the nine and a half.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
He's taking the nine and a half. With Yukon talking
about that total one fifty one, I know one of
you guys are in the sportsbook. Just had a little
bit of grease there on it the feedback, But the
total today, I think that's kind of where some cash
is at as well. I think this one will go over.
I think Florida's gonna run it up ninety five points.
If the Huskies give you sixty. You got some money there.

(37:34):
Go ahead, Ronnie Bee quick thought on the total, did you.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
Say ninety five points for Florida.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
Yeah, I think Florida's gonna run it up on these guys.
I mean, look at this plus four hundred Connecticut. You know,
there's there's a lot of inside grease with Connecticut. I'm
kind of dropping a little bit of it. But just
to be honest with you that that that team is
playing by the hour. You know, season ends in a
couple hours. But that's just my thought. Florida number one seed,

(38:04):
minus nine, almost a ten point differential. I don't see
Florida changing. And again, no one knows how they play.
Not a lot of tape on these guys. None. I
was looking yesterday close practice is at the tournament. I'm
hearing from alumni to go down there. I'm like, look,
Connecticut's going to run into the bus sall. But I'm

(38:24):
talking about that total fifty one. Florida's going to give
me at least ninety points a day.

Speaker 10 (38:29):
Come on, Well, if Florida's going to give you ninety,
you know, like that over total, you better get some
money on Florida then, because you're talking twenty thirty point victory.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
There, So I'm telling you that. I'm telling it.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
Yeah, I see that Florida's got a better defense, and
people give them credit for that's what's get them.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
You know.

Speaker 4 (38:47):
I love Florida too, And Jake said, I've got him
in one of my brackets winning at all too. Florida
and I have a future ticket out of it three
and a half to one. So I love Florida. But
the reason I like him is they got two senior
guards and a junior big man. That's experience, and that's
what I like when it's tournament time. Give me the
strong guys, give me the guys that are twenty two
to twenty three years old versus these eighteen nineteen year

(39:09):
old flashes, and I'll take it. So this defense might
be a little stronger today. Be careful with that over
jab Well.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
I mean, if Connecticut can give me some points and
Florida can run it up, we can try to look
at it and see where the cash is that Let's
move into another game here. That's on the list one
of the smaller schools coming out of the West Coast
Conference rotation number eight sixty one plus five and a
half DG. Barkin. Saint Mary's going up against Alabama. This
is another one of those teams I like in the

(39:35):
SEC that I think will roll Alabama. Rotation number eight
sixty two minus five and a half today. You know,
again I'm going with the favorite. You know, the dogs
just haven't been barking. Animal control has been on control,
and I don't see Saint Mary's being one of these
smaller schools is going to be able to hang with
Alabama's scoring power. Again. Another ninety plus point game that

(39:58):
I think Alabama's just gonna on. The score up totals
one forty nine and a half. Alabama still here. They're
looking at their path to the championship get a bit easier.
This will be the last easy game they have. Saint
mary Is a seventh seed, Alabama being a two seed.
Alabama seeing BYU BYU's tough. BYU gave us ninety one yesterday.

(40:22):
I know Alabama can do that today. Saint Mary's is
gonna give me some points. I'm liking the over end
this game, and I like Alabama to win it handily.
Jake Pappy, your thoughts on this because Saint Mary's again
that small school basketball I've lost faith in it. I'm not.
I'm not. I would rather if I had to lose,
I would rather lose with the Crimson Tide go ahead.

Speaker 9 (40:45):
Yeah, I think it'll be a fascinating game for sure.
You got two different styles at tempo here, Alabama being
number one and I think Saint Mary's rank somewhere in
three forty three hundred. They're almost at all the way
at the bottomous tempo, so it's gonna be interesting to
see who you know takes advantage and runs the tempo.
I think Alabama's going to be too much here. I

(41:05):
don't think it's a good matchup for Saint Mary's at all.
These just can't, like we said.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
Score enough.

Speaker 9 (41:11):
I think Alabama is going to be able to score
a lot. I think Alabama's defense though didn't look bad
against Robert Morris, but I just don't think Saint Mary's
can score that much. So give me Alabama and then
I'll look at that total. Give me the over.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Yeah, Yeah, Alabama's b Why you gave you ninety yesterday
ninety one, Wisconsin gave you eighty nine. Two teams that
churn milk in their off time, in their off season.
But we talk about it again. Going over to you,
Dan Cameron, Alabama do they roll today minus five and
a half? I like this price better than the price
with Connecticut. If you're giving me ten, with Connecticut, you're

(41:47):
given five and a half. Well, you got to lay
five and a half with Alabama, a team that is
known to run up the score. This is what they do.
Saint Mary's plays it again in a conference twenty nine
to five. Not very strong on the RPI. I don't
even know if they do that anymore. But again, their
non conference schedule wasn't there. Let's look at the point differential.
Ninety one points a game for Alabama, seventy three points

(42:10):
a game for Saint Mary's. Take Alabama and go to sleep.
Wouldn't you say? Go ahead? Dan Cameron?

Speaker 5 (42:16):
Yeah, yeah, I agree with you. I mean that's a
that's a pretty low spread. I mean, Saint Mary's always
they're always good and hitting the threes, the three pointers.
They always live and die by the three every year.
That's always. That's who they recruited. They recruit three point shooters.
But Alabama is just way too much for them. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

(42:36):
take that. That's a really low spread.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
Five and a half. But this is where you look
at it and you say the money line side is expensive.
The book wants all of the betters to spend money
and get cash back. Minus two fifty for Alabama could
be expensive. Take them in the points, get your minus
one to ten, and call of a day. Let's move
along to another game, talked about it. Iowa State, Ole Miss.

(43:02):
Nobody knows anything about this game. Nobody knows anything about
either two of these teams. So let's break it down
a little bit for you. You got Ole Miss averaging
seventy seven points a game, Iowa State averaging eighty points
a game. Let's talk about it. The rotation numbers are
here eight sixty five for Old Miss, plus five and
a half Ole Miss in a dog position plus two hundred,

(43:23):
and then you look at Iowa State minus five and
a half, minus two thirty five. The book is making
it expensive. And these are two teams which I am
looking at and I'm saying it's evenly matched on paper,
but I think Ole Miss might be a little bit
more athletic. Let's go to you, Ronnie B. What have
you seen with these two teams? These are two middling teams,
a twenty five and nine team, getting a three seed.

(43:45):
I mean, you know it is what it is, a
twenty three and eleven team getting a six seed. These
are teams that had records closer to what Carolina had.
So we got a team that scored seventy seven and
Old Miss and eighty in Iowa State. The rest of
the stats are pretty much on par with that being
even take the dog and hope for the basket go ahead.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
Well they do. I do like the dog here with
Mississippi and the points here, and I'll tell you why
that is. Yes, they're both evenly matched on defense, on
field goal percentage, three points that they attempt and make,
everything is pretty much free throws a one point difference.
Here's the thing. I like turnovers. Mississippi makes less mistakes,
and I think that's going to be the key to

(44:27):
this game here. If you turn the ball over, Mississippi's
gonna take advantage of it. And if you're gonna give
me points plus the team that has less turnovers, I'm
taking the point.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
So he likes that one? Going to you, J Poppy,
how do you like this Ole Miss game? And again, guys,
we got about ten minutes left, but we're still rolling along.
Well here Ole Miss Iowa State, two teams we haven't
heard much about, and it's going to be a classic
basketball game. I think this is going to be a
total one forty four and a half. May go slightly
under here, could go over based on the averages, but

(44:59):
I think this is gonna be a first half, feel
them out kind of game like we saw yesterday with
Saint John's. Weren't a lot of offense scored in that
first half, and then in the second half it was
a grind. I think we're going to see that similar
type of game today. Go ahead, Jake, and then going
down to you, Dan Cameron on this one, go ahead.

Speaker 6 (45:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (45:16):
I actually love all missing this spot too. This whole
Miss team is solid. You know Padola, the polite guard,
they got da they got shooters, they got athletic people.
I think that they can put it up. I'm going
to take Old Miss plus the five plus the five
and a half. That's my favorite player of the day,
and I actually like the over. I think they'll both
score enough to get there. Well, it's one forty four
and a half. I think I think they'll see a

(45:37):
seventy five seventy three. Yeah, it'll definitely get over.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
Okay, he likes it going over. Dan Cameron, you talk
about this Old Miss team, everybody seems to be going
with the dog. Here are they a dog that's barking.
We've seen dogs go down in the tournament quite often,
especially when you look at these split conference type matchups.
You look at Iowa State Ole Miss. You got Big
twelve versus SEC. It's not a football matchup. It's bad basketball.
And these two teams don't see each other that much.

Speaker 5 (46:02):
Go ahead, Yeah, I agree. The dog's marking in this one.
So if we all agree, can we know the dog's
not marketing? Not just kidding?

Speaker 3 (46:12):
No, all that I'm just kidding, but I'm good.

Speaker 5 (46:16):
But no, I'm with them. The dog is barking. I
think five and a half. That's that's a great spread.
This is Honestly, this is gonna be the most fun
game I think to watch today, and I do like
the over. I think it's gonna be a good a good,
fast paced game, a lot of points. It's gonna be
a really fun game, really close. Could be a buzzer

(46:37):
beat doing this one.

Speaker 3 (46:38):
There you go. Let's get into the biggest game of
the day. Duke A. Baylor. This is the one that
I'm going to be tuned into. Very excited for this
game again. Gonna be coming on two forty a pm
Eastern Standard Time in about an hour, hour and a half,
two hours from now. Baylor rotation number eight fifty seven
plus twelve. Duke minus twelve Rotation number eight minus one

(47:01):
thousand for Duke. You gotta bet the mortgage today, honey,
I can't make it back from Vegas. The reality here
is Baylor at plus six point fifty. Are we even
looking at Baylor in this position here? Can Baylor hang
with Duke? Is Baylor that good? I saw them struggle
in that Big twelve tournament Houston Handlington quite easily, and

(47:23):
I think Duke from an athletic standpoint, is that much
better than Baylor. However, we've got this ag factor, a
little bit of a tweaked ankle with Cooper flag quick
go around the corner with all you guys again, thank
you so much for tuning in this morning. Duke and Baylor.
Forty five seconds the piece, guys, we got about five
minutes left. Brought to you by friends at footbo TV

(47:45):
and Paramount Plus. Go to jbithicket dot com download those
two apps watch the rest of the tournament for absolutely free,
and then enjoy the rest of your sports. But going
to you, Dan, Cameron, Duke and Baylor, who do you like?
Duke is too expensive today? You got to either take
him int the points or that total one upper down.
Go ahead?

Speaker 5 (48:03):
Yeah, I like Duke in this game. They're gonna win
the game. But I just got to get this in
because I wanted to get this in the whole show.
Colorado State, my dogs of the day. Take him outright
to win. That's my sleep brother tournament. Colorado State.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Let's go Colorado State over Maryland. Yeah, I just don't
trust Maryland winning by eight. They couldn't do it in
the tournament. In the Big ten tournament, they certainly probably
won't be able to do it. Colorado State is a
solid team in the mid majors representing the Mountain West.
Let's go down to you. Ronnie Bee quick thought on
Duke minus twelve, most expensive game on the board today.
What are we looking at other than Florida with their

(48:36):
minus five twenty five? Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (48:39):
If you're looking at Duke here today, you shouldn't have
a problem winning the game. I think Baylor's gonna be
amazed at Duke's defense, their race. They're in the nation.
They smother you outside, and Baylor's not gonna hit any
three points today, and that's gonna be tough for him.
So Duke is might play if you're gonna play it.

Speaker 3 (48:55):
He's liking Duke, and then going to u J poppy
quick thoughts on Duke Baylor, and then we're going to
go down to Eras and Oregon. Go ahead.

Speaker 9 (49:03):
Yeah, I think dud too much today. I like Cooper Flag,
I like the Blue Devils Proctor that pool. They'll be
hitting threes. I like Duke, and I like the over
for sure.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Yep, he likes the over end this one. Let's go
down to another game really quickly. Illinois and Kentucky. Two
smaller teams here plus two Kentucky. I mean, what are
they doing? You look at Illinois, they're in the tournament.
This is another one of these sneaky type teams. No
value here, but there is some good basketball to be played.

(49:33):
Quick thirty seconds. I'll give that one to you, Dan Cameron,
how do you see that one shaking out? Then we'll
go to Arizona and Oregon. Then we're getting ready to
go go ahead.

Speaker 5 (49:40):
Yeah, I'll make it quick. Illinois, so legit, take Illinois,
take Arizona as well, and I'm gonna head out. Thank
you JP for having me out there.

Speaker 3 (49:50):
You go, my Maine man, Dan Cameron got to get
out of here early. Thank you so much. Drop a
little grip de grease for you. So it's just me
a Jake, Poppy, and Ronnie be getting ready to finish
it out for you. Nie, your thoughts on that one?
How do you like Oregon in Arizona today? I know
you've liked Oregon in the Big Ten. Arizona twenty three
and twelve, one of the few double loss teams in
the tournament. Oh miss again. We like them as a dog.

(50:13):
They're double loss team Kentucky, double lost team, Illinois, double
lost team Baylor, double lost team Yukon double lost team.
Today is the day of the dogs that are really
really dogs, and if they're gonna bark, they got to
play Oregon or Arizona. How do you like this one?
Go ahead?

Speaker 4 (50:30):
Well, you have two good coaches in this game that
are both teams are playing good ball right now, so
I'm not playing the game. But if you're gonna lean
one way, you gotta take the points. I think he
goes down for the last couple of possessions.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
There you go, He's going with the points, last couple
of possessions. Jake Poppy, your quick thoughts on this Arizona
versus Oregon. Go ahead?

Speaker 9 (50:53):
Yeah, I think it'll be a good game, definitely tight.
But I like Arizona tonight. I think Caleb g Love
will get it done. Don't know, you know, I think
this organ teams talented, definitely, but I think the senior
leadership will help you going off today, give me Arizona
the one.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
There you go, There you go like in Arizona today.
So that's a rap, guys, best play of the day.
We know that Dan Cameron dropped him off. I'm looking
at it from a college basketball perspective and I'm going
to keep it simple. I'm going with Alabama. I think
that's one of the easier prices you can get, minus
five and a half. I think they troun Saint Mary's.
Let's hope they do. Ronnie be best player of the day.

(51:30):
Go ahead, and then we're getting ready to roll out.
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
Well, I'm gonna give you a quick little rebubble on
that Saint Mary's Alabama all you guys were on Alabama
and it looks so easy, and you even gave that
point spread at ninety one to seventy three. But the
house is saying minus five. As a gambler, be careful.
I'm going to take some points with Saint Mary's because
the house is usually right.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
Oh well, the house has been killing me with dogs
in the last couple of days. I'm going with it
animal control today, we are trying to lock them up.
Going over to you a Poppy best player today and
we're getting ready to get out of here, my friend.
Go ahead and thank you guys both so much. Ronnie
b KNT get the ramp Park Casino always providing some warning,
just like I did yesterday with Saint John's. We're always

(52:12):
down this here at VSX with best play Jake Poppy.
Then we're all gonna say it together and get out
of here. Go ahead.

Speaker 9 (52:17):
Yeah, oh, Mess is my favorite player. Like I said earlier,
takeo Mess plus the points. I think I got it
that plus six and then my little sneaky one. I
actually like Maryland cover that seven and a half today.
I think they're gonna pounce collar out of state.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
That's what I'm talking about guys, and it's a rap.
So thank you so much for tuning in this morning.
It's time to get to the sports book. You know
what it is. Let's say it together, guys. Enjoy your
weekend and get the money. The money. The train coming
through a train. It's gonna take the whole world, is
my goal.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Tweet point, the biggest be giving you that degree.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
Step I'm holding in your postition and destructed missing. No,
he does not end up the whole squad, but it's
like it's one, not us.

Speaker 4 (53:10):
But I have hope
