Speaker 1 (00:28):
Hey everybody, my name is Kid. Thanks for joining me
for another video. Today. We're going to be doing and
instituting something that has been familiar to this channel but restructured. Right.
We used to do verses of the day, but now
we're going to do versus of the week and helped
to inspire, encourage, and motivate you throughout the entire week.
(00:48):
So before we get into that, please hype up this
video like it, subscribe to this channel and hit your
notification bills so you don't miss any content that we
release here. So without further ado, let's get into this
week's Verse of the week. So this week's verse of
the week is found in Luke chapter one, verse thirty seven,
(01:10):
for with God, nothing will be impossible. Okay, so this
is a pretty straightforward verse, right, but this is a
very impactful verse. So in Jeremiah chapter thirty two, verse seventeen,
it reads, Ah Lord God, behold, you have made the
heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.
(01:35):
There is nothing too hard for you. Jeremiah's reflecting on
the power and the majesty of God in terms of
his creative power. He says, Oh Lord, you have made
the heavens in the earth, with your great power and
outstretched arm. There is nothing, nothing too hard for you.
(01:56):
So we here we have. As we turn our attention
back to Luke, Lizabeth is pregnant, six months pregnant with
John the Baptist. Elizabeth was much older in age, much
more than Mary, and Elizabeth, because she was up in age,
was barren. But the Lord intervened on Elizabeth's behalf and
she became pregnant with John the Baptist. And Gabriel is
(02:19):
telling Mary all of these things, and he rests here
on verse thirty seven by saying, for with God, nothing
will be impossible. Here you have what would most likely
be considered an elderly woman who is pregnant. It is
impossible for Elizabeth, at her advanced age to even be
(02:41):
carrying a child. I mean seriously, imagine like a seven
year old getting pregnant. I mean most of us nowadays,
if somebody was to get pregnant at that age, we
were like, what, what impossible? We will say that's impossible,
ain't no way. But here Gabriel is echoing a point.
If he said, for God, nothing will be impossible, hm.
(03:07):
Because God is the creator. According to Jeremiah chapter thirty two.
He is the creator of heavens and earth. By his
great power and his outstretched arm, he has created these things,
and nothing is too hard for him. If God, who
created everything, who also created the female anatomy, who has
(03:28):
also created the male anatomy, and everything, the birds, the mammals,
the fish, he gave. He gave the ocean and the
sea its boundaries. He gave the sun and the moon
its orders to rise and set and fall back into
the clouds that it's appointed time. He's given the commandments
for the seasons to come and to go and to
(03:50):
do what they do. And he has given order to
everything in this world. So certainly, if he's creator, he's sustainer.
Nothing is too hard for him. Because he has created
all things. Nothing will be impossible for God. What I
(04:10):
like about Luke Chapter one, verse thirty seven, he says,
for with God, Okay, let's just take that little part
here on this verse. It's not for with kias not
for with your mom, is not for with your dad,
and is not far with your cousin. It is for
with God. That means only by means of God Almighty,
(04:34):
the creator is sustainer of heavens and earth and everything
that dwell in it, nothing will be impossible. When we
try to go rogue, and we do it and try
to do things our own way, according to our own will,
according to our own mind and our emotions, we get
so caught up and trying to be and play God
(04:57):
in our lives. And what happens every single time we
try to do that, it ends up in a chaotic mess.
Ten times out of ten our plans failed. But for
with God. With God, when we access the presence and
the power of God by abiding in him, we unlock
(05:20):
a world of possibilities. Because why He has created what
our five senses responds to. He is outside of his creation,
yet dwells in the hearts of those of those who
accept his son, Jesus Christ. But he's out time. He's
outside of time, space, and matter. He has created all
(05:42):
these things. But when we are dwelling and abiding with
God and we trust in Him, we unlock a world
of possibilities that defy nature. Right. God can do any
single thing he wants to do. Because he is the
author of life, He's the giver and the sustainer of life.
(06:04):
He can do whatever he wants to do. It's you know,
some people are like, oh, I don't know how did
Mary get pregnant or how Elizabeth get pregnant at Elizabeth's
old age, and Mary was a virgin. Because God is
the author anatomy, he organized and orchestrated this entire thing.
Certainly he knows how to get in there and do
(06:27):
what he needs to do without the blood of Jesus
Christ being tainted by human sin. Of course he does.
He created everything. That's why we have the reference here
in Jeremiah chapter thirty two, verse seventeen, that He made
the heavens and the earth by your great power in
the austretched arm. There is nothing too hard or too difficult.
(06:49):
Everything is on the table. And notice here that Gabriel
didn't say for with God nothing is impossible. Even though
this is true, nothing is impossible with God. He says no,
for with God nothing will be be. It opens up
the tents of this sentence, of this statement that God
(07:11):
is an ever present help, that God is ever present
in the history of humanity. God was and is to come.
God exists from everlasting to everlasting. Nothing will be. That means,
and this is what I'm taking in my mind. Whatever
I have gone through nothing was impossible for God. Then
(07:35):
whatever I'm going through nothing is impossible with God, And
what I will go through in the future, nothing will
be impossible for him. You see what I'm doing. There
be is the ever present tense throughout this entire history
of humanity. Nothing will ever be off the table for God.
(07:59):
Nothing will ever be impossible for God. In our lives.
God can do and will do whatever he needs to
do to bring glory to himself and to advance His
kingdom here on this earth. If you created something, you
have full autonomy. You are essentially sovereign over all that
you have created. God created every single thing. The word
(08:23):
God says the earth is the Lord's and the fullness
thereof the earth, and they that dwell therein. If God
created everything, then he is in control of everything. If
he authored everything, he can change and shift and shape
(08:46):
anything that he wants for his good pleasure. And when
we understand that, then we as Christians can make the
bold statement and declaration that for with God, nothing will
be impossible. That's going to help us in our lives
to pray to God and worship him and have faith
in Him that He's going to move those mountains out
(09:08):
of our way, that he's going to split and divide
those sites so we can safely walk through them. That
he's going to calm the storm of our lives when
we need him to. He's going to walk on the
water towards us because he defies every law of nature,
because he created the very law that nature abides. Still,
(09:28):
so whatever you're going through in your personal life, in
your walk, or even in you know, being there for
a friend or a family member who's going through something,
have that confidence that, for with God, nothing will be impossible.
And said plainly, for with God, nothing is off the
table of possibility. How has He showed you his great
(09:51):
power and outstretched arm in your life in a situation?
I know God has blessed every last one of us,
and I would love for you to share your tees testimony.
Even just one story would be helpful and I'm pretty
sure it will encourage other people. In the comments below,
thank you again for tuning in for this verse of
the week. I hope you have a great upcoming week
(10:12):
and may God bless you. Bye.
