we did do, we did do some studying, and we're

(01:18):
going to talk about prayer. And first of course I
have is what is prayer and man, But before we
do that, we can go ahead and and say prayer
and then all right, So, Father God, we come to
day truly, not by might, know by spirit, know by power,
but by your spirit, God, give her this day to you,

In Christ Jesus name, we pray. Amen and amen, and
amen and amen, and then again my name is everyway.
This is Friday night. Joy. Amen. I'm just so glad
to be with you today. We're gonna talk about prayer
man fund, the definitition, the prayer of me, because just

(02:25):
just to have a little dialogue, you know. And I
promise that not to keep you all, to be with
you very long, Amen, But I just thought the need
to come on tonight and to do those things that
God has given me, given us to do. And man,
so I'm grateful about that. I am so grateful about that.

(02:47):
I'm just checking a couple of things to make sure
everything is working according to the way it's supposed to be. Amen.
It looks like it is. And so all right, see
that's working the Man, bless God. Amen. I'm just gonna
go back here and just okay amen. Okay. So with

(03:16):
that being said, let's created and get started. When I
was looking at the scriptures for the day, I came
across a few of these things. I'll just go back
to my regular page here, and we got too many

(03:36):
runings open. And then I came across a couple of
things that I want to talk to you about. Number
one is what is prayer? You know, we know to
be most of us. I believe it us and I'm
believers too. They know how to pray, the word, structure
of prayer, the crisis is or or even though that

(04:00):
believe their prayer to other gods you know, and everything.
But let me tell you what it says. It said
prayer is a form of communication with the Higher Power.
All things involved, Bob expression, expression, thoughts, emotions, requests, or gratitude.
In Christianity, it's a way for believers to connect with God, speaking,

(04:21):
seeking guidance, and sharing their heart. Okay, So that's what
prayer is. So but I'm gonna go a little deeper
than that. It didn't mention that as Christians, for our
ability to connect with God. But in order to be
able to connect with God, there so relationship that has
to be developed over time. Okay. And there's a scriture

(04:45):
that tells about that there are a lot of times
people pray, but they their prayers prayers without without reason
or without mess or this their separace prayers. So the
one thing we don't want is we don't want our
prayers to become selfish in nature words all about name
be me the onely things that they did mention about

(05:08):
prayers and Chris has a way to believe us to
connect with God. That definitely it is true. We need
to be able to connect with the Father. We need
to be able to connect with my Lord and say,
with Jesus Christ. Okay, and he connects with us. It's
not a one way connected. But that connection is due. Okay,

(05:29):
let's due a thing, you know. And Uh, the more
that we pray, Uh, the more that we pray sincerely,
the closer that we have a walk with Christ, Okay,
the closer the more that He will begin to reveal
certain things to us. So prayer is extremely important to
a believers. Uh. So it's extremely important in a family. Okay,

(05:53):
as a man and as a wife, you know, as
a single mom. We should be in a situation where
we are constantly praying for our love was before they
even go out the door, whether it's a worker, whether
it's a school, whether it just hanging out. Because we
know that Satan, the devil is going around like a

(06:14):
ragilal lion trying to seek who he can devour. So
it's important to be stay under the unction of prayer
or put up our family and octu prayer because we
just don't know men, the love of man have has
completely waxed cold. They don't care anything about it. Every
time you look at the news, there's some form of

(06:36):
shooting or killing or something like that. Always and all
across the world. Is not just in the United States,
but it's all across the world. Okay, okay, let me
see where else I'm going. So another thing that the
question I asked and and and whether and I believe
for God, they're basically four types of prayers. Sell said

(06:58):
that in the in the Prince statement said, there's a
iteration or praising God for his grace or his rating,
and there's a confexing, a confession and knowledging and seeking
forgiveness for sining. There's thanksgiving okay, expressing gratitude for blessing okay,
there's supplication, making requests for one self and the others.

(07:20):
So it's okay. Look, don't get me wrong, it's okay
to pray for yourself. You better know how to pray
for yourself. But you don't want everybody to praying for
you because some people, you know, you might have approach him
at a bad time and you talk about haveing to
pray and they got other things going on. So you
definitely have to develop a prayer life for yourself. And
one of the things that we do to hear on

(07:40):
the broadcast is Reverend Grend Dixon has a prayer that
she does at one o'clock every Wednesday, and she's been
doing it for like three or four years, maybe longer now.
Everywhere the powerful Woman God a prayer and she teaches
a little bit more too about prayer. Okay, So those
so for them, the prayer can be personal or community
or spoken or silent. It's about connecting with God and

(08:02):
tocere and meaningful way and meaningful way. You know. Some
people pray through meditation, through being silent. Some people speak
words and sometimes they're loud, or sometimes they very south spoken.
They sometimes they feel with the emotions. I mean, it
just depends on the individual they pray. You know, everybody

(08:25):
prays different. I've met people in my life and at
one time they said they didn't like to pray because
they didn't know how to. But the more you do something,
the more you you know, you begin to know how
to pray. And in a situation where someone asking you
to pray, especially if on a Sunday or Bible said

(08:45):
or whatever, I mean, you pray with the heart. You know,
you pray with the Holy Spirit. It given you to
pray because He's already given you what to say. We
just got to open up our mouth and let him
speak to us. And then, like I said earlier, there's
some several types of prayer. We talked about adoration, we

(09:06):
talked about the prayer of confession and talk the prayer
to prayer of thanksgiving and supplication. But there's also another
per former prayer called the anccessory of praying prayer, and
that's when we interceat on behalf of the others. You know,
innecessor prayer is much needed in the body in Christ,
in the churches, today it's needed, it should go at

(09:27):
least I know where I was involved with it, which
it was like an ongoing basis, and you didn't know
who they were. You know, they were silent prayer words
and they didn't broadcast or an anecestor no, there was not,
you know, it was incognito and everything. And then the
body quite knew that there was an intercessor prayer people,

(09:49):
but they didn't know exactly who they were. And so
what they would do is they was through the pastor
or through email or through the social media. They were
sending prayer requests into these people. These people will actually
pray our earnest prayer for whatever that person is going through,
according to the will of the Father. So inaccession prayers

(10:10):
is and will always be a very corner zone of
the church. Okay, in order for the church to have
miracles and healing and all and to keep the pastor
in place and everything to the point where he's constantly
growing and the minister of staff and the musician. Intercession
is needed. You know, everybody is going through something in

(10:33):
their life where intersect that someone needs to intercede. Moses
dealing with the children in issury Jesus is doing it
even for now. He's intercess for us even now. So
now so intercession is needed on all areas, whether male
or female. We need it. We need it. Like I
talked talked earlier, we definitely need it for our families.

(10:55):
So intercession is needed. Another type of is lamitation prayers
we to find us in book and lamitation where they
are labor, they're in sorrow, but they're praying to God.
They're requesting, hoping to be restored in God. People experience
that type of lamitation and prayer when you have lost

(11:19):
someone or lost something that that that hurts them in
no heart, you know, and they're saying, and it's a
grief to God. You know, you know, it's it's it's
it's it's it's it's showing God how broken or how
contract we are, how we feel and we need help
and we need that healing and man and the contemporary

(11:41):
prayers like we had talked about this earlier, it's like
a solid medication or reflective on the design. You know
that we we are meditating on God. It's because they
said that we should meditate on God on the skipture
day and night. We should be doing it anyway. But
sometimes we don't have to really say a lot of
prayer that in some prayers that I know, for the

(12:01):
fact that I've said silent and nobody knew that I
was praying for them, you know, nobody knew. You know,
not all prayers have to be like out in front.
You know. In fact, some of the best prayers that
I know, when people was praying and the person didn't
even know they was being praying for. You know, they
didn't know they was being praying for. That's that that

(12:25):
secret type of prayer. They didn't know. But they didn't
know that a change her place in their life. They
knew that they were out there doing all kinds of
stuff and all of a sudden changed her place. And
there's a song that says that my mama prayed for me,
and she got on her knees and took the time
and prayed for me out of all the words and stuff.

(12:47):
But it's important that we understand about prayer. You know
that somebody is praying for you somewhere at this time,
even today. You know, you might not feel like it,
You might not ving it is because it's not about
it you want. I mean, I had somebody told me
I wanted their social media sites when I said that

(13:08):
I pray for you. They don't want you to pray
for me. You can't stop me from praying for you.
You might not want it and understand, but I'm gonna
do it anyway, because this is what God has ordained
for us to do. Is to enerity, is to pray
one for another, to pray for unbelievers, to pray for
the peace in Jerusalem. These are the things that we
are mandated to do and everything. Then, don't get me wrong,

(13:31):
and we're gonna move on in a second. I want
you to understand something here, okay, and the skills to
talk about when you when it comes to pray and
lay your hands on no man suddenly, okay. And a
reason for that we don't or don't allow any man
to lay their hands on your suddenly. And the reason
for that because you don't know what kind of You

(13:54):
need to know those that labor before before you. Okay,
you need to examine their fruit. Okay, you need to
examine uh that their zeal or the termination and the
whole sity of revealed. So you have to be in
a situation where you don't want everybody pray for you, okay,
and everything you want as some old things. You say,

(14:16):
you want somebody that will pray for you, that can
get a pray prayer through, not hit up against the
wall because they're not in the delivering uh according to
God plan. But you want somebody that can break through
that that that barrier to get to God. Kay. Also
because of demonic spirits is out here, but we have

(14:36):
to be very careful. We have to be very careful
also about who prays for us, you know, because the
spirits demonic experience can be transferred. Okay, and there was,
So those are all really important things to know about
who is praying for us and when and everything, you know.

(14:57):
And then you got people's that's praying contrary to the
will of God, you know. And for me, that's like
a form of witchcraft. If God said it's going to
be this way and you got somebody to pray in
the opposite of that because it doesn't suit or even
you doesn't suit your need, and then then you that

(15:18):
can be a form of witch trial because you're going
against the authority and the plan of what God says
you're going. And so we have to be careful about
our type of prayer that we even it and it's
not even someone praying for us, and they have people
I heard people pray a prayer that uh that that

(15:40):
that's in the prayer and they're missing the prayer with
laying hand, you told some people you need to be
delivered from this or delivered from that, and a person
like I'm not going through any of that, you know.
So we have to be careful about and watch what
comes out someone in mouth, because someone guy can put
a curse or something that you're not willing to receive it.
There's some things in the midst of the prayer or

(16:03):
when it comes to being prophetic, and if then then
we need to be able to look at it and say, okay,
is this from you Lord or this is from another source. Okay,
we have to be able to do that. Let's continue on,
all right. So one of the things I have in

(16:23):
my notes these types of prayers can be combined or
use individually, individually based on the believer's needy, based on
the believers in the need. Then I did ask a
question in my notes and say how often should we pray?
The scripture says that men should always pray and faint out.
I believe it's coming out of Luke chapter eighteen. And

(16:46):
let's go there real quick as if I can. Then
you just go there real quick, okay, And yeah versus eighteen,
Verse one, I said, you speak prayerble this she's speaking.

(17:06):
But to them to this end, the men ought to
always pray in faint, fain not and fain not. Always
praise means always pray. You know, we knew that the
Muslim uh pray five times to the east per day.
You know. Some of us don't won't even pray one time,

(17:27):
you know, and what we have to understand about, but
that always pray. It doesn't have to be a situation
where they're all long drawn our prayer. You know, they
can be broken down, you know. I mean there's I
think there's a book that's out there. I can't remember
the one minute prayer that you can pray one minute
every hour, you know, and that that talks about there.

(17:49):
So I mean, but you want to help us see
your prayer. You're want to pray from the from the heart,
you know, you know, to act the whole say, to
give you things that you should be praying for, not
again not it's about you and your family, but about
others too and everything. And one of the things, especially
within the Body of Christ, that are the church is
going through right now, there's a lot of falling away

(18:10):
in leadership, you know, and everything. So again we need
to be keeping leadership in prayer. Those pastors, those details,
those bishops, those apostles, you know, those prophets, you know,
those teachers. You know, you need to be. Even the musicians, man,
the music is different. I was listening to one of
the something first media and they were doing I mean

(18:32):
they were it's like you was in the club almost man,
you know, and they were doing the dance. They just
won't saying the words and you then you know words,
but they were doing to dance and in some cases
they was using the words too. So I mean that's
why prayer is needed to bring those things that are
wrong that back into correction and ask God to have

(18:52):
mercy to have show us great till we make those
things wrong. Prayers needed in the Body of Christ. I mean,
it's needed even in our country. You see all the
political things that are going on with the hate you
and that's going on in this country because of the
color of the skin. Because even with the religious people,
you know, they are passing judgment and and making decision

(19:15):
on somebody else's and everything that they don't really have
the right to do. You know, we all got to
stand for God to give an account for ourselves. You know,
we can't make nobody get saved. You know, let me
say that again. Okay, we cannot make anyone get saved.
They have to want to. And there's a choice they
have to choose this stay who they will serve. They

(19:37):
can't make no, make anyone live holy It's a choice
to have to be made. And the only way we
can really do those things that are a choice on
our power, we have to just say, yield to the
Holy Spirit, and then the Holy Spirit does does the rest.
We can't make nobody stop smoking, you know, we cannot.
You know, we can pass all the laws in the

(19:58):
world and one doing the person that want to do it. Okay,
so that the righteous judgment or self rights is judgment
to judgement about it for one thing, while in the meantime,
you got something else going on in your own closet
that people don't even know about. And somebody pulled the

(20:18):
sheet back and so they see all kinds of things
that you're doing. But you sit there they're judging. So
that's why prayer is needed not only within the Body Christ,
but in the world system, in the government system. You know,
we want to pray for our leaders, of those of
the and there was a position of power, that they
will be what be directed by God, be directed by

(20:40):
the Holy Spirit, that they would God will put menacing
angels in their place to leave them and guide them
so that the people will not suffer. That's what we
should be doing when it comes to prayer. Then that's
what we should be doing for it comes to prayers, man,
I want to read. This is the sculpture scripture we're

(21:01):
gonna focus on, not through chapter six a little bit,
but this is coming out of Philippian chapter four, Versus
six and seven. It says, do not be anxious about anything,
but in every situation by prayer and petition another I
think king the answer, prayer and fasting, but thanksgiving, but

(21:21):
just your quest to God. You know, we just present
a question that goes back to what we were talking about earlier,
a prayer of requesting certain things to take place in
our life. You know, whether it's not necessarily blessing, but
maybe it's healing, you know, or whatever. But you know,

(21:41):
they don't have to be anxious for those things. We
don't have to be nervous, Okay, we don't have to
be for other things. But we just got to get
to the place of trusting, trusting God. Let the scripture
I have, it's coming out of First Detalonian Chapter five
Verssus sixteen. Sivil just always pray, continually, give things in
all situal circumstances. They say, give things in all circles,

(22:04):
for this is God's will for you and class Jesus
give thinks at all, no matter how bad it is,
no matter what it looked like. I mean, you might
be broken down the bus that had discussed it, but
you know, continue to pray, pray continually, you know, pray,
continue to give things in all circumstances, no matter what

(22:25):
it is. And that's not always easy to do because
we're dealing with the issues of the flesh, you know,
and the things of the flash. It hurt and it
goes through certain challenges and anything, and the feel bad.
But even then they're telling us to pray, pray, always pray,
continue it, okay. And James chapter four Versus five and

(22:48):
sixteen said, therefore, confess the sins to each other and
pray for each other, so that you may be here.
Pray in a confessor sins to each other. You know,
we both need someone that we are connected with. All
of us need someone that we are connected with, so
we'll be able to confess our slings. You can't tell
everybody what's going on in your life, all right, some
people will use that and judge it against you, okay,

(23:10):
and we'll persecute because you made a mistake or because
you fell down, and they'll forget all about the grace
of God and the mercy of loving, the mercy of
our Lord Jesus Christ. They forget all about that. You know.
There's therefore confessions to each other and pray for each
other so that you may be here. There's healing in

(23:31):
us praying for each other. There's healing in us shopping
each other each other's aron. It's healing in that. You
know that there might be some frictions, but we need
each other. You know, we need each other. You know,
we're not the lone wealth, that lone wolf. Okay, nothing

(23:51):
in the religion and Christiana says that we're the lone
wealth we're not. We can't do this by ourselves. First
of all, we do need Jesus Christ. We can't do
nothing without him. But we also need each other, okay,
And we also need each other. And then and then
it says that the prayer of a righteous man is
powerful effecting, you know, King Daniels, the prayer of a

(24:12):
right man and veil as months. Okay, it's powerful and effective,
you know. But what was who is righteous? None? Not
only that our righteousness is because of Jesus Christ. It's
through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, that
righteousness now our self rightness. Not because we go to

(24:32):
church on Sundays and we can pay our tithes and
we singing the choir, and we've been on the deacon
board and be a bishop and apostle and all those
kinds of things. Those things are good, those things are works.
But we still need to have that intimate relationship with
Jesus Rist. And we need to be able to let
the holdness FeelA dwell in us the function the way

(24:54):
it was, the way it's supposed to be. Okay. And
I'm gonna go ahead and turn to Matthew chapter six. Okay,
I'm gonna read quite a bit of this, and we're
gonna public and on matter, we're not gonna get to
talk about Luke and all. There's a couple other exceptions
we might take up that on maybe I think next Friday. Okay,

(25:19):
all right, oh yeah, because he talks of Luke, talks
and get into the Lord's prayer, okay, or they call
it the Lord's Lawd's prayer, But really is is the
prayer that Jesus gave to us to pray it. Okay,
not his prayer, but the prayer that he told us
to pray. All right, He told us to pray like this. Okay,
all right, so gus go ahead, starting back to I'm

(25:41):
gonna I'm looking at chapter six versus one. They said,
take heed. This is Jesus speaking that you do not
your arms before men to be seen of them, otherwise
you have no reward of their father, which is an
over Therefore, when God does that arms, do God sound
or trumpet before the a say, Hypocrist, do in a
sin God? And in the street, you know, there are

(26:02):
something that wants to announce what they're doing. Got let's
be real that people want to announce what they're doing
when announced it they pay for so and so on
and so and they got here one announced they got
you know, all of these things that they give it
to the poor and they have so and so on
out and they have somebody go there. They they want
to announce to these things to everybody that will listening.

(26:24):
And well, we're doing this and we doing it and
he said, but he said, definitely, when that does, arms
do not sound the trumpet before they as a hypocrites
do in the synagogue in the streets that they might
have glory of men. People do it for their motivation
is wrong. Their motivation is awful of that. That's why
they do it. He said, barely. I say it to
you that they have their reward. But when that does,

(26:45):
arms letting out that left hand know what the right
hand is doing waiting from the king Jamee's president. He said,
their arms may be in that, their arms may be
in secret, and the fathers will see it in secret.
Himself said, reward the openly. Don't let everybody know what's
what what you're doing or how who are you supporting? What?

(27:10):
Don't know? People be all in your business man, you know,
and uh and us when they're all in your business.
There's a uh, there's a reason why they are there,
you know. They maybe it's not a jealousy or the envy,
or maybe they want to just want some of that

(27:32):
what you got. You know, they might be setting you
up for a child, and can't let everybody know what's
what's going on. Has God's blessing. You can testify of
the goodness of under blessing, but everybody can't hear your testimony.
Some people hear your testimony and take it the wrong way,
or they're taking if you're boasting and you're not. You're
just saying, what the goodness Lord, But you don't have

(27:54):
to make a trumpet sound of it. They says what
they're saying. Okay, he said, let that ant that that
thine arms being secret, and their father, which see it
in secrets himself, should reward the opening. And this is
the problem when they get there that this is not
through chapter six. But I said, when thou prayers, that
should not be asked. The hypocrites are for they love

(28:14):
to pray standing in the Synergod and in the corners
of the streets, that they may be seen a man fear.
They are saying to you they have their reward. You know.
There are some people that want to be seen. Unfortunately. Four.
There are people that want to be seen in prayer,
and they have the voice and they have to act
a level of the voice and everything and the cadence

(28:37):
that goes with it and their prayer. But their prayer
is empty because it doesn't have any power, because their
reason for doing is not the glorify God or a
myth that requested to God. The man may say, oh,
that brother or sister can pray. There are people like that.
There are people that live like that. Okay. Verse sixty said,
but down, when thy prayers entered into that closet, and

(29:01):
when that has set the door, pray to the father,
which is an in secret, and my father will see
it in secret, said reward the open. He used to
tell them to go to the closet, close the door,
cut the light off. I'm just at it, but you know,
but going to the into the closet, you know, and
set he said, shut the door. He said, Actually, he said,

(29:22):
well has then I set the door. They begin to pray.
Then begin to pray, you know, And again I mean,
it depends on how you pray. Whether it's a prayer,
meditation or whether it's paverly or or whatever it cans.
But you know, nobody's watching you. Okay, nobody's watching you.
And this is why I go back to what I

(29:43):
talked about area about their anecessors, how they pray and
seecret they are. I mean, they're not a secret society
and anything like that, but a lot of people don't
know a lot about it unless you've been a part
of it. Okay, all right. They when they have a
prayer guilty, they don't announce it on the church. But
they're just over there. They're intercessing it now. Uh, they

(30:05):
don't want to really know and decides. The innocence is
the leadership. You know, they know and everything. So he says,
he says, he says, let me go back, and says,
but when that prayer enter into our closet, and when
I have set the door prayed to the Father which
is in secret, and that Father, which seeth in secrets,

(30:27):
reward the opening. That's the kind of prayer that we
want to be able to do. Man. We want those
prayers that are sown in secret to be awarded openly,
so then people can see the blessing of the Mighty God.
They begin to see that there is nothing too hard
for our Lord Jesus Christ to do. We want that
kind of prayer, the results, the outcome, you know, we

(30:49):
want outcome with the prayer. You know what I mean?
You know, we and and we add this part to it.
And in some places we might not see the outcome
of the prayer, okay, but the outcome is still the outcome.
Because we was obedient to pray. Okay, it was obedient
to pray for one for another. Were obedient to pray

(31:09):
for our sons and daughter and ourself. The outcome, the
outcome of it is the resource of the prayer is
where you see the manifestation of God. Is where you
see the manifestation of the healing and deliverance. And everything
you see blind man opening, eyes being opened, or the
lambors walking, the manifestation of the prayer. Okay, the manifestation

(31:33):
of the prayer. And then burg Sevan says, but when
you pray, use that vain repetitions as the heating it
for they think that they said be heard for their much.
We can be talked about earlier people that want to
be saying they're using certain words and stuff like that.
Then some of us might not know to understand what
it is that they're saying. So we have to be careful, okay,

(31:54):
that what we pray. And that's why I like in Luke,
how Jesus begin to teach how to pray. Now we
have been and we have the endwell in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will lead us to all things that
are truth. You know. You know, I've known people that,
including myself, that had an had was convicted to pray
a certain way for what the individuals, or whether the community,

(32:17):
or whether the church itself, for whatever, you know. And
we pray that way not because of our own or
thinking about what to say next now, but we pay
that way because of the Holy Spirit. Okay. He said,
but when you pray, use not vain repetitions, and said
he didn't, for they think they should be heard for
their much speaking. That God is not interested in all that. Okay,

(32:38):
then it says be now he therefore liking to them,
for your Father knows what things you have need of
before you even ask. God already know what you need.
The idea pray for us to pray what the Father
already knows. That me that mustn't in need, you know,
you know, so we don't have to pray vain repetitions
to prayer don't have to be two or three hours

(33:00):
was long, you know, and everything like God is not
gonna hear. God hears our prayer. He hears up what's
going on within our heart, deep with thin our heart,
he hears our prayer. He said, after this man dead wild,
pray ye our father, which are in heaven. How long
be that name? I said, This is the prayer that
Dejus told his disciples to pray. He said, after this matter, therefore,

(33:22):
pray our father would decide to heaven. How long be
that name? That kingdom come? That will be done in
there as it is in heaven. He said that will.
I ain't paying for my will. I'm paying for the
father's will. He told us to pray for the father's will.
You know. I'm sorry, y'all. He just told us to
pay for the father's will, you know. And that's what
we should be doing, you know. We should be praying

(33:44):
for the father's will. Okay, Yeah, we should be praying
for the father's willing. That is all and everything. Okay,
So that's the kind of prayer that we should be
doing right, you know, he said not. Let me just
go back a little bit. He said, be not likely
to them, and then for your father. Know what things
have need of before you act. He said, after this

(34:04):
man death, will pray our Father, which in in heaven.
Who we're praying praying directed to. We're praying directly to God. Okay,
we're praying directly to the Father. Now, we're not praying
to to man, and we're not praying to some unknown god.
We know who God is. He said that I am
the Great I am, and that's the one that we're
praying for. He said, he said, after the our Father.

(34:27):
He called him our father. He included us in that.
Our father means we are included in that, and we
pray our Father, which are in heaven. Another way, we
know where God is and we know that he's in heaven.
He said. Hollow be that name. Hollow The word means
to be holy. Okay, it's hollowed. It's a Greek word

(34:49):
for being hollowed. It means to be holy. Okay, you
know it's in other words. When when Moses was not Moses, yeah, Moses,
when he saw the burning bush in the desert, God
told him and told her to take off his shoes
because you are on holy ground or hollow ground, you know,

(35:10):
the hollow be thy name. He said, the name is hollowed. Okay.
He said that keendom come. That will be done in
earth esi in this heaven. In other words, whatever's done
in her ever, you know, should match what it's done
in the earth. You know, there's a parallel, you know,
one it goes with the other. You know, it's important
that we do. He said, give us this day our

(35:32):
delict bread. He's not only talking about what we eat
and everything, but he's also talking about the Word of God.
It's not just to deal with our daily bread, a
piece of bread that we eat and we go to sleep.
When we wake up the next morning, we hunger. But
this is more than that. This is about the word
of God that pursued out of the mouth of God.
This is about the scriptures and everything. And it's not

(35:53):
the paper that is on but the word, the powerful word.
You know, it's so shopped like a two edge for
us forward. The word that was with God in the beginning.
That word, the word before the foundation of the earth
and before creation, was there with God. The word that
was made flesh for the sins of man and was

(36:13):
willing to die for the sins of the sins of us.
That kind of word, he said the next person, say,
and forgive us our deaths as we forgive our deptses,
you know, the forgiveness our depths and that again you're
not just talking about money, you know. But you know,
but he's talking about more than just money, you know.
I mean, he talk about things that we've done. Our past,

(36:36):
our president forgive us, you know, but we also have
to forgive others. Forgiveness some major peace out of our
relationship with Christ, you know, and forgiveness of the major
piece of how He Jesus instructed his disciples, even us
to pray, you know, even us, the basic of our

(36:58):
parents will really be focused over here. Now that should
be all because of them, because again because of the
endwelling of the Holy Spirit. It's the Holy Spirit that
USh us us out to pray. That have us to
pray without season, or have us to pray the things,
the things that are on the heart of God. Is
the Holy Spirit that's doing it. Okay, it says, lead

(37:19):
us not in temptation, but deliver us from evil. He says,
lead us not indemptations, and again a prayer, God, lead
us not in timptation. Lord God, don't lead us in temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Deliver us from evil. We
constantly have evil and temptation all around us, constantly, whether

(37:39):
it's the TV, or whether it's the radio, whether it
is our family, whether it's a stranger industry, all these things,
our body, our soul, our spirit is being attacked on
a constantly basis by things, whether it's sickness or disease.
So we have to be in a place of prayer

(38:00):
for all of these things. You know, even you know what,
even when we don't feel like it, we have to
be in the apostle of prayer. We have to be
in a part even when we don't feel like it.
One of the best time to pray when you don't
want to, when you just still feel like that you're
getting an answer, or nothing is changing or things are

(38:21):
getting worth that's one of the best times to open
up and continue to pray. Man and man it says,
it says viser, try totation, but delivers from evil. But
dine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Forever. Amen,
they're taking it out. He says, for dye is the
kingdom and all the honor and all the glory is
not going to the pastor not going to the business,
not going to the apostle, not going to any man

(38:43):
or not going to the head of the family, but
the man, not going to the woman, not going to anybody.
That's going right back up to God and going back.
But Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Forever.
Forever means forever, Amen, Okay, and said I'm in, And
let's say a place and yeah, and man, he said,

(39:06):
I'm in. And then Jesus verse fifteen, which is what
I like he put it in. But if you forgive
not men their Christ either way, your father forgive your truspass.
He told me right there. If you can't forgive others,
and look at me wrong. Forgiveness is a process, you know.
The prayer of forgiveness is a process. In some cases
don't happen overnight, and don't It's part of a process,

(39:30):
you know, and that process sometimes take over a period
that but we continue to pray for that prayer of
forgiveness because somebody did us wrong or somebody hurt us
deep and in our flesh. We want to strike back.
We want to hurt back. But that's not what God
want us to do. That's not what Christ want us
to do. You know, He want us to forgive. Now,
because I forgive don't mean that we forgive. And because

(39:53):
I forgive, that means that I want to continue to
be in the company of you, knowing that you did
something that did something that you shouldn't have did. I
don't have to be any count but I do have
to forgive. I do have to know. Okay, But he said,
but you forget. But if he forgive not men that
trust neither whether their father forgive your truspressor more. When

(40:15):
you fast, be not again, go back to being like
a hypocrist. More when you fast be not ask a
hypocrist of a sad countenance. But they disfigured their faces
that they may appear to men to fast. Really, I
said to you, they have everyone. I've seen people do it.
You know, they have the sad continent, you know, and everything.

(40:35):
They on a three day fast men, and they just
turning there and you can you know, you know, they're
dragging and everything. They dragging their feet. Now, nobody needs
to know that you're on the fast. You know you're
faster because God told you get in fast and even
when faster. And we're gonna talk about that at a
later time. In fact, I'm writing a book about prayer
and fasting. That's my nation project, all right, But then

(41:00):
we're gonna talk about that, said boy. He said, when
you fast, be not that's the hypocrisi of a sad countess,
but that they disfigured that face. You know that they
may appear to me and its sad. Why because again
it goes back to that attention. Wanted somebody to look
at them say oh, okay, well he must be faster. No,
he said, bare La said, gee, they have their reward.

(41:20):
But this is the part that I liked that he
sa said. He said, but thou win thou fast? He said,
ant thy head and washed our face. I not thy
head and wash your face. Okay, I'm now we thought
we should be the other way to wash your faith.
That is no, no, he said, ant thy head and
wash your face. There's a specific instructions that's given to

(41:44):
you when we when we're fastened, And that same principle
can be even when we when we're in prayer, Okay,
he said, not that, but when that faster not down
head and washed that face the last person, then we're
gonna stop. Right hand. He said that thou appeared, not
that appear not to men to fast, but unto the Father,
which is in secret, and that father would see it

(42:06):
in secret, shall reward the opening the Father that see,
everything is done in secret, you know, the fast thing.
The prayer is done in secret, not before men. And
sometimes there's situations whereing that you may have to pray
out loud of the church, that's not the same. But
even with them, we're doing it in a spirit of humility,

(42:27):
knowing that it's not us, but it is God through
Jesus Christ. Okay, knowing that it's not us, but it
is God through Jesus Christ. So we have to be
in their place, you know. Then verse nineteen, I'm not
going to go in the further it said talks about
laying not up for your your self treasures upon earth
when mouth and rust does corrupt. But these break through

(42:47):
and steals and stuff like, that's the whole get into
a whole nother conversation. But the prayer that most people
called the Lord's prayer is actually a prayer that gave
Jesus gave to his decayeful to pray because he said,
when you pray like this, okay. He gave us instructions
on how to pray. Okay. He gave the typeles at
that time instructure how to pray. You know, but all

(43:09):
of that ties back into our relationship or our intimacy
that we have with God. We can't have it no
other way. And man, so our pray this has been
a blessing to you. I am done that. My time
is almost up and everything we're gonna probably finish up.
But I still have some more to teach a man,
because I really wanted to get through Luke chapter eighteen

(43:30):
and man, but that's okay. Well, I'm gonna read the
Prince first again. He Jesus spoke a parable and they said,
to this end their men ought to always pray and
not the thing. And that is so true today. You
know that is so true today. Ya I need a
may I'm like, I'm gonna confess to you right now.
I need to do better with my prayer, with my

(43:51):
prayer life. You know, there used to be a time
that I would wake up at four o'clock in the
morning because God won't rest. I need you to pray
like in the money. I need different and we need
to be obedient because those wake up calls we try
to thinking, well, we thinking being waked up to go
to the bathroom and actually being waked up to pray
or to intercede on someone else in the hand and

(44:12):
everything like that. The innerced on someone for so we
need to be do better with the same. You know.
He said men not to always pray always again, if
always as always, okay, every time you think of it,
pray and again. I don't have to be loved. I
don't have to be outspoken. It can be within your heart. Pray.

(44:33):
You know, God answers prayer. I'm a living witness of
the answer of prayer. I've seen God answer prayer for
others and not only for me, but for others and
through intercession. I've seen God answer prayers. I've seen mirrors
take place when the doctors and and uh had given up,

(44:56):
or the laws had said that was not gonna work,
or the judge was ready. I've seen miracles happen like that,
people be rededicate their life to Christ and you would
never ever think that they were dedicated. My mom, God
bless her pray for her sons and her daughter. She
prayed that everyone less her one of her sons and
daughter would know Jesus Christ the Lord. She prayed that

(45:18):
prayer for a very long time. She prayed that prayer
even when I didn't want her to pray that prayer.
She praised that prayer. When I was out there going
to club, my mom would prayer and she would tell
me what she prayed. She said, I pray that God
would not give you any peace while you're out there
at the club dancing and having a good time. He
would give you no peace, but He would reveal himself

(45:41):
to you. And I used to tell her, I don't
pray that prayer. I won't ever good time. I would
tell her, don't pray that prayer. But that didn't stop.
But she still pray their prayer. Okay, she still somebody's grandmother.
Somebody is praying for you. You need to know that. Okay,
prayer works. So Father, God be taking for this broadcast today.

(46:02):
We get this broadcast to you. We pray holdess fair
that you will have you a wake. God. We thank
you for everything that you're doing in our life. God.
We pray God that we get closer and closer to You.

our steps, Lord Jesus, order our hearts, Lord teachers, order
everything is. Whether we might be in the line where
you come, Holy say come help lordiesus, be realized that

(46:25):
we can't do anything without your God. Whatever someone's face today,
whether it's difficulties in the relationship, where there's issues in
their health, of pain in their body, God, w they
just need deliverance from substance abuse, whatever the case, God
of lost God, whatever fornication, whatever the case might be. God,
we pray God that you would come and touch them

(46:45):
on the should the Lord Jesus and remind them that
you love them, that you paid the price for them
on the crossguard. Lordius. Today we pray that you will
come with all your money and glory and you upset
the normancy of people just even going to church. We
pray for every pastor, every bishop, every apostle, God, every prophet,
every teacher God, every evangelist God, every musician God, even

(47:07):
the doorkeepers. Lord. We pray for the body of Christ
as a whole. Lord Jesus, but you might reminded who
we are in you, that a great revival may take
place God, not just in America, but all across in
the world. Lord Jesus, the men and women begin to
seek more and more after You and less after the
things to the word God. We pray God that you

(47:27):
will make us Lord Jesus, though that you'll call by
your name for such a time as this becomes salt,
light and power, Lord Jesus, then we might begin to
reach some messes. Then we might begin to tell people
what can they can do to get say they tell
them about Jesus Christ as our Lord, and say, we
pray today God, no matter where they are, God, no
matter where they be rich or whether they be poor,

(47:48):
whether it be the complexion of this game their background, God,
were prayer to day. God, your ministry angels will give
our God. But they truly are doing it a calling
such as the time is this God, you're doing the calling. God,
you're sounding that alarm. God helps us to sound and
up to blow the trumpet, God to blow them to
show for hon Lord Jesus, for truly you are singer

(48:10):
kom We do pray this prayer and quite sees his name,
Amen and Amen. So y'all, I want to thank you
for listening in to me. God bless you, and please
enjoy the rest of your Friday. I prease share this broadcast.
