seventeenth chapter. And I'll ask you the question, are you
one of the nine. So we're going to go to
Luke seventeen and we'll read we might read this to

(03:46):
the nineteenth verse. And it came to pass as he
talking about Jesus went to Jerusalem, that they passed through
the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered
into a certain village, there met him ten men that
were lepers, which stood afar off thirteen. And they lifted

(04:10):
up their voices and said Jesus Master, have mercy on
us fourteen. And when he saw them, he said, unto them,
go show yourselves, unto the priests. And it came to
pass that as they went, they were cleansed.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
And one of them, when he saw that he was his, turned.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Back and with a loud voice, glorified God sixteen and
fell down on his face at his feet, at Jesus' feet,
given him thanks. And this guy, this fellow, this brother,
was his Americans. And Jesus answer said, were there not
ten that were cleansed? But where are the nine? There

(04:55):
are not found that returned to give glory to God?
Save this stranger? And he said, unto him, arise go
thy way, thy faith has made Behold, he's left him
went to ten of you, and you're the only one
coming back. And I asked you tonight, do you forget

(05:18):
to return and thank God for what He's done to you?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Are you one of the nine?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Have you forgotten to thank Him today? When you rose
this morning?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
For example?

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Did you thank him when you were able to put
one foot in front of the other? Did you thank
him when you started to move around and your limbs
and joints and muscles.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Were actually doing okay?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Did you think about thanking him when you open your
mouth to say anything, do any praise to spring from
your lips?

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Did you remember to thank him?

Speaker 5 (05:50):
That you could even talk.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
When you got to your destination, that you remember to
thank him?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Yes, we sat aside this time of the year called Thanksgiving.
This coming Thursday will be Thanksgiving, but I venture to
say that we should set aside every day of the
year to give them thanks this Thursday. You know, millions
we gather around the family table for dinner. But I
wonder how many repalls and give thanks to God. They

(06:20):
are still Thanksgiving twenty one, when the Plymouth colonists and
ram pulls up, Indians shared an autumn fathest feast that
is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations,
and the colonies so. For more than two centuries, days
of Thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. Thanksgiving

(06:45):
a dayside set aside for the year to say thank you,
to give thanks. We take so many things for granted.
We should thank Him for what we consider the little things.
We should thank God for ever everything that we take
for granted, instead of complaining about what isn't going right?

(07:05):
Do you take the time to thank him for what
is going right? Instead of focusing on the negative? Do
you instead focusing do you go to God and petition him?
And yet when he blesses you, when he moves, mouters,
when he performs what we call miracles one after another,
Yet when he makes a way out of no way,

(07:26):
do we take the time to thank him? How often
do we go out on our way and forget to
Paul's turn back and said thank you?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Are you one of the nine?

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Do you forget to return to the doctor of all doctors,
the lawyer of all lawyers, the banker of all bankers.
Do you sincerely remember to say thank you Lord forgiving
me one more day, thank you Lord forgiving me one
more paycheck, one more meal, instead of complaining about that job?
Do you thank him for giving you that job, for
blessing you. Do you remember to return to him and

(08:03):
say thank you, Thank you Lord for blessings seeing and unseen.
You see here in the seventeenth chapter of Luke we
find there were ten men who were struck with the
illness of leprosy. Now, during this era, anyone who had
neverthe was considered an outcast. They could not be seen

(08:23):
in public. They were shunned from society. So when these
ten men saw Jesus from afar off, something lets me
know that they had heard about a man who could
even heal this terrible disease. Something tells me that they
got up enough college to set aside the rules and
laws of that era, and they must us up.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Enough faith to call upon Jesus.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Now, I don't know how far and distance they were
from him, but this scripture let us know that they
had to call out to him. They took a chance,
you see, because they could have been strown. They took
a chance, you see, they could have been rebuked again
by man.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
They just wanted to get.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
The attention of Jesus, so they called out to him.
Because they were forbidden not by Jesus but by society
to come near anyone. They were considered unclean. You see,
leprosy was a contagious disease that affects the skin, mucous
membranes and nerves, causing discoloration and lumps on the skin,

(09:27):
and in severe cases, disfigurement and deformities.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
They knew they were not a pretty sight to look upon.
These ten men.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
They knew that, but they had heard something about this
man who was a miracle worker. Perhaps they had heard
something about the woman with the issue of blood who
had received her healing and luke H's chapter luke H's
chapter four the third verse, and a woman having an
issue of blood twelve years which to spend all her

(09:57):
living upon physicians, and it could be healed of any
came before him and touched the border of his governments,
and immediately her issue of blood starched. And Jesus said,
who touched me? When all denied Peter and they that
were with him said, Master, the multitude on thee and

(10:20):
pressed thee. In other words, you got people all around you,
and you were asking us who touched you? But Jesus said,
somebody has touched me, for I perceived that virtue has
gone out of me. And when the woman thought that
she was not here, she came, trembling and falling down
before him. He declared unto him before all the people,

(10:43):
for what cause he had touched him, and how he
had healed immediately. In other words, she came forth and
told him why she was.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
There, and how was she had touched him, and how.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
She felt like she was healed, and he said to
her daughter, he of good comfort, that faith has made
thee hold gold in peace. Took back to our main
text in Luke seventeen. Perhaps these lepers had heard about
this woman and believed that if Jesus did it for her.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
He could do it for them.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
So they put aside their.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Pride, They put aside the discomfort. They decided not to
focus on their humiliation. They put a fifth of shame,
and they called out to Jesus leavin first again.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
And it came to pass as he went.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
To Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria
and Galilee, and as he entered into a certain village,
there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood
a fall off, and they lifted up their voices and said,
Jesus Master, have mercy upon us. And when he saw them,

(11:49):
he said, un to them, go show yourself to the priests.
And it came to pass that as they went they
were cleansed. And that's important to pause here and re
enter it that it was a non fact that the
priest did not have the ability to heal anyone from leprosy,
all that Jesus could do that, but by showing themselves
to the priests as being healed.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
The priests then could pronounce them clean.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
And then they would be free to re enter society. Normally,
there was ritual that needed to be performed by the
priest for anyone that came before him on.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Their day of cleansing.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
You can find this in Leveticus, the fourteenth chapters, the
first of the thirty second verse, and the fourteenth chapters
of Levetticus first versus and the Lord's faking to Moses,
saying this shall be the law of the leopard, And
the day of his cleansing, he shall be brought unto
the priests, and the priest shall go forth out of

(12:46):
the camp, and the priest shall look and behold if
the plague of a leprosy be healed in the leopard.
There shall the priests command to take for him, that
is to be cleansed, two birds alive and clean, and
see the wood and starlin and his theF and the
priest shock command that one of the birds be killed
in the earthen vessel over running water, and for the

(13:09):
living bird he shall take it, and to see the
woods and the scarlar and the hies up and shall
dip them and the living birds and the blood of
the bird that was killed over the running water. And
the seventh verse says, and he the priest shall sprinking
upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy
seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let

(13:31):
the living bird loose into the open field. But see,
he didn't have to do all this, because Jesus already
healed these these ten people. Levetticus eight thirty eight to
thirty two Versus outline all the things that the priest
had to do before pronouncing a man was cleansed from leprosy.

(13:52):
You know what, brothers and sisters, we need to thank
God that we are not bowned by rituals to be
performed by man. We need to thank God that we
can go straight to the master position. We need to
thank God that we don't need to seek approval from man.
From man, We need to thank God for his son
Jesus and how he shed his blood and the cross so.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
That we would no longer be help captives to diseases,
so that we would no longer be he captives to illnesses,
so that we would no longer be he victims and
to our own past sins, so that we will no
longer be slaves to sin.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
We need to give him thanks for he is a healer.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
We need to give him.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Thanks for he is our savior to all of us
who called upon him. We have so much to be
thankful for. Thirteenth first, and they lifted up their voices
and said, Jesus Master, have mercy upon us. When these
lepords called out to Jesus, they were in a suffering
state received They were both physically, mentally and emotionally sick.

(14:51):
I'm sure they had been embarrassed by being in the
state John from society, but they had decided that the
embarrassment will no longer be a weapon to keep them
from receiving their healings. Nowhere doesn't script It tells us
that they quietly called out to him. Nowhere doesn't say
that they were tired of being sick and tired.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Now. I don't know how long they had been in
the state. I don't know how long they had been shown.
But I believe they.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Came together in unity and said, enough is enough. We've
got nothing to lose and everything to gain. I believe
they came to themselves and said if we can just
get his attention, we know we will be made wld somehow.
From deep down, they had enough to believe that if
they could just get Jesus' attention, that if they could

(15:39):
just get to his ears, they had enough faith to
believe they would be made hold. And indeed they got
his attention.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
They see.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
I believe. I believe at that moment m M. Having
stood still, I believe Jesus, knowing their hearts and knowing
that this would be yet another opportunity to record in
history just our power, for he is. He stopped in
the middle, whatever he was doing, wherever he was headed,
rewarded their faith by telling them to go and show

(16:08):
themselves to the priests. No where in the scripted Desert
tell us they stopped and crushed them why they still
had to go to the priest. This meant that when
they reached the priest, they.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Would have been healed for this disease.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
When they called out to Jesus, their faith got his attention.
Jesus told them to show themselves to the priests, for
he knew the laws of that time. Something to think about.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
As they went they were made hole.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
You would think that with all that had suffered, been humiliated,
chef from society, miserably physically, mentioningly, emotionally. You would think
that all ten of them would have taken the time,
turned around and said, thank you Jesus for healing us.
But only one man did.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
What happened to the others.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Went on their way.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Maybe one went.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Back to fishing, maybe one went back to his bride,
maybe one went back to doing whatever they were doing.
But guess what, Nine of them went somewhere, but they
didn't come back to Jesus. Only one of them came
back and gave them thanks.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
As they went.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
They were made wholes they went, they expected, they believed.
But at the ten lepers, only one came back to
give them thanks.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Are you one of the nine?

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Do you get so caught up going on around you
that you forget to take the time and give them thanks?

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Do you have a grateful heart?

Speaker 4 (17:36):
A heart full of thanksgiving every day for all the
blessings God has restored upon you?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Do you as.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
There's something to think about a heart full of thanksgiving?

Speaker 1 (17:50):
When Jesus said that.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Faith has made you whole, whole, complete, nothing missing, nothing lacking,
nothing broken, he said with that one, are you using
your faith to call upon Jesus today, then he answers
your call. Do you take the time to turn back
and with a grateful, sincere heart, say thank you Jesus,

(18:12):
Thank you for hearing me, Thank you for hearing my crime.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Do you think Jesus for making you hold? Are you
one of the nine.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
Who didn't return to give him thanks?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Said?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
The Bible records that the one who returned to give
him thanks was a Samaritan as opposed.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
To a Jew.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Lets me know that Jesus recognizes all of us, and
there was something special about the Samaritans that the sixteenth verses,
this man came back and fell down at his feet,
fell down all his faith at his feet, giving him thanks.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
And Jesus made a.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Point of saying saying, and he was a Samaritan. So
let's post for a minute. Let's give some history concerning
the Samaritans. Because of their imperfect adherents to Judaism and
their part they take an ancestral ancestral the Samaritans were
despised by ordinary Jews. Rather, they contaminate themselves by passing

(19:09):
through Samaritan territories. Dudes were who were traveling from Judea
to Galilee or vice versal, will crossed over the river Jordan,
bypass Samaria by going through Transjordan, and cross over the
river again as they near their destination. The Samaritans also
harbored resentment towards the Jews. You can find that in

(19:32):
look ninth chapter fifty two to the fifty third first
that the Samaritans were separated from and looked down by
the Jews makes them important in the New Testament. Jesus
indicated a new attitude must be taken towards the Samaritans
when he passed through their towns instead of crossing the
Jordan to avoid them. Where he spoke with the Samaritan

(19:53):
woman John fourth chapter, fourth and fifth verse, contrary to
Jewish customer, and when he said a tide would come
when worship in Jerusalem or on Mount Gerzarine, that said
g E r A z I m would not be important.
When asked whom to regard as our neighbor. Jesus told

(20:15):
the story of this good Samaritan precisely because Samaritans were despised.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
And here is how the story goes. And Luke ten
we learn of the.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Good Samaritans who stopped and helped this man who had
been beaten and left for dead. And Jesus Anson said,
a certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, fell
among thieves, who stripped him of his ramitts and wounded
him and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance

(20:47):
there came down a certain priest that way, and when
he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place,
came and looked upon this. Samaritans passed by on the
other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came
where he was. And when he saw him, he had

(21:09):
compassion on him and went to him, found up his wounds,
throwing in all and wine, and set him on his
own beasts, and brought him to an end, and took
care of him. And on the morrow, when he departed,
he took our two pence and gave them to the host,
and said, um to him, take care of him, and
whatsoever thy spends more, when I come again, I will

(21:33):
repay thee which more of these three thinkest thou was
neighbor unto him that fell upon the fees, And he said,
he just showed mercy upon him.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Then Jesus said him to him, go and do likewise.
Are you one of the nine or do.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
You stop to thank God that it doesn't matter what
nationality you're born into, whether Jew or Gentile, whether black
or white, rich or poor.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
And God's say he.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Loves us all we need to take the time and
give him thanks for so much.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
You are yet thanking him.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
Because you know that He is to be trusted.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
With all your needs, all your needs.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Take a look at the Old Testament, for example, the
prophet Elijah. He knew this and he trusted God completely.
I won't read all of this, but the First King
seventeenth chapters first and seventh.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Verse the story.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
There's the story of Elijah, a beautiful story that I
challenge you to read when you get a moment of
First King seventeenth chapters first and the seventh verse talks
about Elisa and how he was of the inhabitants of
Gilead as the Lord, God of Israel living before whom
I stand Elizah's talker. They're shotting God, No do nor

(22:50):
rain these years to my word, And the word of
the Lord came up to him, saying, get thee hens
and turn the eastwood and hide thatself by the brook
Sheriff that is before Jordan's. And it shall be that
that shot drink of the brook, and I have commanded
the ravens to feed them there. So Elijah went and
did according to the word of the Lord. For he

(23:13):
went and dropped by the brook that is before Jordan's,
and the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning,
bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of
the brook. And it came to pass after a while
that the brook dried up because there has been no
rain in the land. Question, didn't didn't God know that
this brook was going to dry up?

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Elijah trusted him.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
Elijah trusted him, talking about casting your cares completed on
him as it talks about the second Peter five seven.
That's what Elijah was doing. The ravens were feeding him.
He drank from brook, talking about humility, totally leaning on God,
totally trusted, excuse me, with all of his heart and
leading not to his own understanding. He didn't understand that

(23:59):
the book was up, but he knew God would take.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Care of him.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
And it came to pass after a while, did the
brook dried up? Because there had been no brain in
the land, and when the brook dried up, the Eliza
still trust God. Let me ask you a question this evening.
When the brook in your life appears to be dried up?

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Do you still trust them? I want you to think.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
About that for a minute. Let's break that down. Do
you remember to thank him when the rain stopped flowing,
when the blessings you see and you believe, stop coming,
do you still trust him?

Speaker 1 (24:36):
You see, you were doing all right for.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
A while, but then something happened. It seemed like all
of a sudden, the blessings just stopped. So you were
doing all right for a while, going about your married way,
but then something happened. Your body's in pain. The doctor
doesn't know what's going on. I'm talking about those times
when it seems like your get up and go has
got up and went and summary the storms were just

(25:00):
aging in your life. Did you still trust him? Did
you still find time to thank him? Psalms one on
six says, praise thee the Lord. Oh give thanks him
to the Lord, for he is good for his mercy,
and do it forever, not just talking about doing thanksgiving,
thanks doing a specialist time of the year to set aside.
But we need to give him thanks every day, for he's.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Worthy to be praised.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
He is worthy to be thanks when your circumstances appear
the worst that they can be, and you feel that
though life are simply wearing you down, so you still
take the time and thank him. When you think you've
gotten to the end of your rope and you don't
even feel like you get the strength of time not
and hold on, so you still trust him enough to take.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Care of you. God is God and he does not change.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
So why not trust him. God is God whether we
think him or not, So why not totally, without reservation
from the heart, take him.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Yes, you're yet breathing. Thank him.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
We still have food to eat and close to where. Yes,
I know that the food is the food. Prices may
be going up at the grocery stores, but guess what,
you still have food. He still blessing you. He's still
blessing you. Are you one of the nine or are
you the one who comes back and remembers as they
went they were made whole? Don't wait until you see

(26:19):
the manifestation of your blessing.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
To thank him.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Thank him now, Praise and thank him while you're yet waiting,
But it's doing the waiting that he wants to know.
Wants you to know that you can.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Be stilled and trust him. Praise as take.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Him now, don't wait until you see the light at
the end of the tunnel. Praise and thank him for
that invisible light. That's faith, for the word of God,
says now. Faith is the sustance of things, hoped for
the evidence of things, not seeing how many of us
have a feast to eat every day? Then should we
be thankful every day? Should we be thankful every day

(27:00):
were gone their leprosy disappears. How often does Jesus tell
us to do something and we spend time second guessing, wondering,
questioning him talking about faith At the time, Jesus looked
on them and told them to go to the priests.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
They had faith to believe that it was already done.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
They called to Jesus, they obeyed, They went, and they
were made hold. But only one came back to give
him thanks.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Is this your story?

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Are you one who returns to God and give him praise?
Or are you one of the nine who neglected to
return and give him thanks? One of them came back
to Jesus shouting glory to God.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
I'm here.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
He fell flat on the ground in front of Jesus,
face downward in the dust, thanking him.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
For what he had done.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
This man was a despised Samaritan Jesus that did not hear.
Ten of you were the nine. Only this foreigner return
to give glory to God, Jesus said, for the benefit
of all those who were with him at the time.
Jesus says to the man, stand up and go. Your
faith has made you hold, has made you hold. Perhaps

(28:11):
you are in the waiting right now, waiting for your breakthrough.
Perhaps even now you're going through some difficult times. Perhaps
you lost a loved one and you're in a grieving stage.
I want to encourage you tonight that weep in and
do it for a night, but George shall come in
the morning. Just wait, wait for your morning, and know

(28:35):
that you're not alone. For God said, I'll never leave you,
and I'll never forsake you. So even in your darkest hour,
when you feel like you you may feel like you alone,
don't trust your feelings. Just trust God doing this season.
You allow circumstances, circumstances to dictate how and when it
praise God, don't do that, you may be saying to yourself.

(28:56):
I'm sitting here, Lord, trying to figure this thing out
all by myself. How did I get here? Why am
I struggling soul? How did I make a mess out
of my life? At this stage in my life? I
thought I'd be somewhere else doing better. How do I
turn things around? How do I make a way out
of no way? And you tell me to trust you
Lord with all my heart and lean not to my

(29:17):
owness but Lord, Oh Lord, trusting God and troubling waters. Lord,
which direction do I turn? I turn to the left
and appears all hope is God. I turn to the right,
and my friends have suddenly disappeared. I come home after
hard day's work and there's a note on refrigerator.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Saying what what is it saying? Did my husband just
leave me?

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Oh? Lord, I just can't see my way clear. My
stress sings almost gone, And yet you tell me not
to fear kids acting up? Lord, I still give you thanks.
Be touse their mind that you've let to me for
a while.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Food price is high, A dear Lord, God, saying to
your will, you've never.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Seen the righteous forsakered nor you see baking bread, lookslack
and maybe robing Peter to pay Paul. Keep giving God thanks,
keep giving him praises for better days are ahead. Pay
racking your body, Keep on thanking him, keep on thanking him.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
For this is only a temporary season for you. Lord.
I know I heard.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Somebody say you were my refuse, that you a very
present help in times of trouble. Well, Lord, I sure
do need you now.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Talk to him. Talk to him.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
He's your father. He wants you to come to him,
but he wants you to trust him. He wants you
to trust him, So obey and trust him. Trust the Lord,
Trust the Lord. God is so faithful. You might be
saying to yourself, Lord, whatever you're doing in this season,
please don't.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Do it without me.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Get yourself a new song and say, Lord, whatever you're
doing in this season, I thank God that you're not doing.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
It without me. Lord.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
I don't want to be one of the nine, and
you say that with me, I don't want want to
be one of the nine. Then forget to come back
and thank you. I don't want to forget your many
blessings and forget who you are.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Lord. I want to be the one. It returns to
you over and over again.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Yes, even in troubling waters, I want to be the
one who says, thank you, Lord God.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
Then, in spite of everything I'm going through, I still
got joy deep down on the inside because I know
that you are the joy of my salvation.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
I thank you Lord.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Psalm's one hundred and the fourth verse says, entered and
to his gaze of thanksgiving, and and to his courts
with praised be thankful unto him and bless his name.
Psalms fifties, chapter fourteen, verse says, offer unto God thanksgiving
and pay their vows unto the most high Psalms.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Ninety five two.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
See, sometimes you got to pull up those scriptures, and
you gotta a lot of those scriptures be hidden in
your heart so you don't sin against him. So you
can meditate on these words, and just in times when
you first depressed or whatever, you can shake yourself, look
in the mirror and shake yourself and say words like
Psalms ninety five two. Let us come before his presence
with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with

(32:08):
Psalms Seconds of Rents ninth, chapter eleven, verse being enriched
in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving
to God.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
And get this. Philippius, fourth Chapters.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
The sixth verse says, be careful for nothing, but in
everything by prayer and supplication, with what with thanksgiving, let
you request be made known unto God. Give him thanks, always,
give him thanks from your sincere heart. For God knows
how inn the thoughts, and he knows whether you sincere

(32:42):
or not. So don't forget. Don't forget what He's already
done for you. Boy, if it had not been for
the Lord on my side, where would I be?

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Man?

Speaker 4 (32:52):
I got my testimony, and I'm sure you got yours.
I don't want to ever be one to denying. I
want to be the one that comes back and thank him,
praise him and glorify his name, for he is God.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Thank you for all the days.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Thank him because he's worthy to be praised. Thank him
because I know that all of my needs are already
met through Christ Jesus. I want to thank him for
he is the great I am. I want to thank
him now, for his mighty works are all over the place.
I want to thank him, thank him forgiving his only
begotten son. I don't want to be one of the
nine who do not come back.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
And thank him. I want to thank you, Lord.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
I want you to think about this. I want to
thank you Lord for what you've already done. I'm not
gonna wait until I see resources or received rewards. I'm
gonna thank you now. I'm not going to wait until
I feel better, thanks look better.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Lord. I'm going to thank you now. This is what
you should be saying.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
I'm not going to wait until people say they're sorry,
until they stop talking about me.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
I'm gonna thank you now. I'm not going to wait
until the pain in my body disappears.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
I'm gonna thank you now.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Lord.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
I'm not gonna wait until my financial situation approves. I'm
thanking you now. I'm not going to wait until I
get that promotion on my job. I'm gonna thank you now.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
I'm not gonna.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Wait until I understand every experience in my life that
has costed me grief for pay. But I will never
understand every experience in my life that has caused me stress.
But I'm gonna thank you now. I'm not going to
wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed.
I'm thanking you now. Why am I thanking you now.
I'm thanking you now because I'm alive. I thank you

(34:32):
now because I've made it through the day's difficulties. I
thank you now because nighttime come and guess what you
brought me through another day. Thank you now because you
allow me.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
To walk around the obstacles.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
I'm thanking you now because I have the ability and
the opportunities to do more and do better. I'm thanking you,
Lord God God.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
I'm thanking you.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
Because you did not give up on me. I'm thanking you,
Lord God. Not just for a day we set aside
that we call Thanksgiving. But I thank you you, Lord God,
because You're so good.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
He's so kind, he's so perfect. Lord God.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
I'm thanking you, Lord God for John six three sixteen says,
you love the world so much that you gave your
only begotten son, who's ever believes in him should not
perish but have everlasting life. Only Jesus can give life.
And I thank you you, Lord God for Jesus says
as John fourteen six, I am the Way, the Truth,

(35:26):
and the life. No man comings unto the Father, but
by me. I thank you, Lord God.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
For Jesus.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
I thank you, Lord God. For John three thirty six
says he that believes on the Son has ever lasted life,
and he that believes not on the Son should not
see life. For the wrath of God, A bid it
on him. I'm thanking you now, Lord God, Thank him now,
Brothers and sisters.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Don't wait, don't wait.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Don't let another opportunity to pass you by without thanking.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Him for what he's already done. Don't wait.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
Just remember who we're talking about. We're talking about the
God Almighty.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
The Holy of Holies, the Lord God.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Almighty, who is the athle in the make of the beginning,
in the end, the bright and morning start. Thank him now.
He's offering and worthy to be praised, worthy to be praised,
so worthy.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
To be praised. Thank him now, Thank him now.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
I hope these words have been encarriaging to you, But
you know what, I don't I want to pause for
a minute because I don't want to assume that everyone
that's listening is saved. I don't want to assume that
everyone that's listening to know who this Jesus is that
we've been talking about this either for those who are
not saved. For those who are unsure of their salvation,

(36:41):
listen very carefully. At the end of the day, when
you breathe your last breath, or when Jesus comes back,
what would be your destiny? What would be your destiny?
You know, each of us who are saved, I challenge
you to go out and share the good news with

(37:01):
someone late after studying the Book of Revelations, and you know,
in the past I kind of shone away from it.
But as a Christian, we should not shine away from it.
We should read it and lied to motivate up us alive,
to propel us, allow it. To challenge us to go
out and tell because you don't want to.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Be left behind.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
You don't want anybody to be left behind. You don't
want your loved ones to be left behind. When Jesus
comes back me cracks that sky. You don't want your
loved ones to be left behind. But I challenged you tonight.
If you are not saved, or you know someone who's
not saved, I want you to listen very carefully so
you can translate these words to that person.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
As I said, at the end of the day, when
you bring your.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Last breath, or when Jesus comes back, what would be
your destiny. Ramas ten nine says that if thou shot confessed,
thou mouth the Lord Jesus, as I believe in our
hearts that God raised them from the dead, that shall
be saved. So you see, you need to admit that
to our sinner. Ramas three chen says, as it is

(38:06):
written there is none righteous, no, not one. And then
you need to be relative turn from your sin, that
is to repent, and then you need to believe that
Jesus Christ died for you, that he was buried, and
that he rose from the dead. For Rama's ten chance says,
for with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with

(38:26):
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And through prayer,
simple prayer, nothing magical about it, for something beautiful about it.
You can invite Jesus to come into your life to
become your personal savior.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
For Roma's ten.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
Thirteen says, for whosoever shall calls upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved. I thank God that I
am a whsoever what about you, I thank God that
I'm not going to be left behind what you So
here's a prayer you can pray with me right now,
Dear God, I am a sinner and I need forgiveness.

(39:11):
I believe that Jesus Christ shed his precious blood and
died for my sin. I'm willing to turn from sin.
I'm repenting from my sin right now, Lord God, I
now invite Christ to come into my heart and to
my life as my person savior. If you repeated those

(39:33):
words sincerely from your heart, from your heart, if you
trusted Jesus as your person save you, you have just begun
a wonderful new life in Christ. And you truly have
begun to be my brother, my sister. And then you
don't stop there. Get you a Bible where you can

(39:54):
read it every day to get to know Jesus better,
talk to him, talk to God in prayer every day.
Then find a local church where you can be baptized,
you can worshiped and fellowship and server other Christians where
Christ is preached and where the Bible is the final authority.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Then don't be selfish with this good news. Tell others
about Jesus.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
Go and tell someone about this man, this man Jesus, Jesus.
Talk someone about him. Don't allow your friends, your family
to be left behind in the nighttime during the ninth hour. Amen,
let us pray Heaven His Father.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
We thank you, Lord God.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
I thank you Father for your word that's gone.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Forth, Lord God.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
If anyone has repeated this prayer of salvation, I thank you,
Lord God that I believe angels are rejoiced in Heaven
right now for her soul has returned to you, Lord God.
I thank you Father, Lord. I thank you Lord God.
For all those who have listened tonight.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Lord I pray Lord.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
God, any sick Lord God, that you would touch their bodies,
Lord God, because we know you are the doctors all
doctor's Lord God. I pray if anyone's going through finance
the difficulties, Lord God, we know you are the bank
Lord God that never loses any money, Lord God, and
we thank.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
You, Lord God.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
I thank you, Lord God for.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
Your words when you say it in your word that.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
When it goes forth, it would not return until you
and to hand it, that it would go out and
accomplish that which you have purposed for it to accomplish.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
So I thank you, Lord God for your word.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
I thank you Lord God that as we set aside
this special season thanksgiving, that we will set around and
we will talk about you, Lord God, and not about
everything that's going on in the world. Lord God, I
thank you, Lord God, that you give it us another
opportunity to serve you, Lord God, that you give it
us another opportunity to glorify your name.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Lord God.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
I thank you, Lord God, and I give you all
the honor, all the glory, and all the praise for
you and you alone are worthy.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
To be raised. Amen.

Speaker 4 (42:01):
Amen, Well, Amen, and hope you have a happy Thanksgiving
and remember to hold this word dear to your heart
and share with others.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
God bless you.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
