The 33rd annual Georgetown Kid’s Fishing Derby is happening Saturday, June 1st at Lake Walton in Georgetown. All kids up to the age of 16 are invited to grab their fishing poles and have a fun filled day of recreation and learning. Kayla Nimmo, District Recreation Management Specialist with the Forest Service, El Dorado National Forest, Georgetown Ranger District, joins the program to highlight this springtime annual activity.
