Amber Stott, Chief Food Genius and Founder of the Food Literacy Center, returns to the program to highlight the organizations accomplishments! Amber and her team work tirelessly to teach low-income elementary children how cooking and nutrition can improve health, environment and economy… and of course, inspire kids to eat their vegetables. AND The Saint John’s Program for Real Change is an intensive year long program for homeless women and their children. By providing a safe, sober environment St. John’s allows for these women to get their lives back together and move forward to be productive and healthy families. Former Sacramento Mayor, Heather Fargo and former member of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, Roger Niello, join the program to discuss the importance this organization has in our community.
