Speaker 1 (00:00):
Rover's Morning Glory Stars.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Now, good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
What's happening? It is Tuesday, November eighteenth, twenty twenty five.
Good morning, It's Rover. He's Morning Glory. I'm Rover. Dugey
is here. Good morning, sir. Charlie is here, Hi, Crystal
is here. Hello, Spencer is here, and mister Jeffrey Allen
Laroque is in the firebox. Yo, yo, you are witness

(00:53):
as well. Eight sixty six. Your Rover is the number
eight six six nine sixty seven six eight three seven.
That's how which the show will give us a call
at that number. You get text us at that number
that comes into the studio in real time. But the
best way give us a call eight sixty six ninety
sixty seven six point eighty three seven. I'll get to
your email here in just a moment. We have a
lot to discuss. Jeffery's really grown a full beard in there.

(01:15):
I'm looking at his uh, he's really believe that he's
he's really grown some facial hair and that is going
up to his side. It's going up to his Yeah,
between him and Charlie there, yeh, Jeffrey's hair is creeping
up closer and closer to his eyeballs, very high up

(01:36):
on those cheekbones. The whiskers are coming in like a werewolf.
Charlie is you know he's he has what would probably
be on Jeffrey, maybe two days worth of growth, I
would say, And we are eighteen days into growing this
out now. Rachel and Sales came in yesterday at the

(01:56):
end of the show and she goes, you need to
shave off your neck hair. It looks terrible. She's really
upset with that neck. Why is she so upset with that?
She brought it up again today again? All right? Really?
Why she's like, Jeffrey even looks better. She's like, I
hate to say it, but Jeffrey looks better than Rover.

(02:17):
I go, but Jeffrey's face is his cheeks up to
his eyes are covered in hair. Rover's neck to his
nipples is covered in hair. Well, what are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Jeffrey isn't as yes he is, yes, No, yours is
way haarier than his.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
His is just stuff, am I just? Growing in yours
is like you could graid it. Okay, Well, it grows fast.
I guess I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Is that weird how it grows on your neck?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
But it doesn't grow on your scalp. That's what's called
being baldy. That sucks. Yeah, you think that they would
develop a pill by now or something that you could
take and it would stop growing on your face and
start growing on your head. Yeah, Like, I have all
this technology and and we haven't figured that one out.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
It's like they haven't yet with all this hair replacement technology,
they haven't yet to developed a like a low sun
or some kind of like that's contains fertilizer for your hair,
fertilizer for your hair.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Now, if you had this near fertilizer on your face
or your head in order to get the hair to grow,
would you do it? Manure?

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Uh No, I just let my hair grow naturally. What
if you were bald like me? I'm just worded as
a badge of honor, Okay, because nobody in my.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Fan I can. I can say this though, if you
look at.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Every member of my own family, even though even like
my grandma, both of my grandfather's had all their hair
when you know, like.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
My put it this way, my mom my, my.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Mom's dad had just a little bit of gray hair
on the roots, but the rest of it was like
just black and then my dad's dad had like a
grandfather whatever I'm talking about. My my dad's dad had
all of his hair, even though it was like greed
going white, but he still had all his hair.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, I don't know. If it's a pill, i'd take
a pill to regrow hair. But if I need to
go through, if I need to jump through, Annie hoops,
I no, no, I'm not. I'm not gonna do this.
I'm not. I haven't had hair since I was twenty
years old, so what difference does it make to me?
But if you know, it was weird, like when I
wore that wig for the for Halloween and everyone's like, oh,

(04:35):
you look so good with hair every time I put
a wig on on this show, and that would be
so weird to have hair, It would be really bizarre.
So if I could take a pill and grow out
some hair, maybe Snincer wants to go to Turkey and
get a hair transplant. No way in hell would I

(04:55):
ever go through something like that. Not a chance. It's
just your hair on a different part of your head. Yeah,
I know, but it's a lot of work. You have
to get their doctors, Okay, but you could also, you know,
if you wanted to be taller. You could have your
legs broken and then extended out, you know. I mean
they're doctors doing that. Some things just aren't worth it.

(05:18):
And Spincer wants a luscious full head of hair. But
every time we talk to him, like Charlie has said
that Spencer appears to have a full head of hair,
he just shaves it.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
No, I never noticed that he's missing hair. He's he
complains it's thin. But I don't think it's.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Where where are you missing hair for? You know, you
don't have the horseshoe type of you like that is,
do you really?

Speaker 5 (05:45):
I think it's different than whenever he had growing up,
But I don't think I think that's but it's.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Not bald bald, I am. I know what happened, Charlie.
How did you get sick? Who did you get sick from? What?
What are you doing hanging out? You're doing too many?
Oh my god, what the hell was that? Jeffrey, No,
it's just my throat. I wasn't I'm not sick. You

(06:11):
have a little tickle in your throat. You're not sick.
You just have a short throat and a cough. Oh yeah,
a slight sore throat. Hey, at least I'm not coughing, hacking,
sneezing and all over the place. Coffee with coffee, and
a second ago he did just cough. Wh They asked you,
what's going on? Because you're coughing.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
I'm in the contamination zone here.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I feel a total ass that sucks. Come to our
event today at Circle Care. It's the only reason why
I'm here. It's literally the only reason I'm here today.
I have to I have to go there, all right,
he's going to be it's a circle k today with
bring him some.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Oh you no, no, you take take airborne as I can.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Before you come to say what's up? Can you tell
you something real quick? Sure, yes, quickly.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
I just saw something really upsetting in our boss's office,
Keith Hotchkis.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
He was bent overtaking it from no, no, okay.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
What I put there was an an email that he
had printed and I put it on his desk. And
as I walk into his office, his wallet is just
laying right there in the open with all his credit
cards everything.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
This guy doesn't learn, does he?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
How does he leave here with his wallet on the
desk in front of everybody?

Speaker 1 (07:32):
He's got a glass office.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
You walk towards his office, you see this wallet loaded with.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Oh, yes, you're right, I mean think about that. You can't, Well,
what's somebody going to break into the office wallet? Yeah,
I don't know the window for a wallet. If I
was on the street.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
How do you leave your.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Whole wallet someplace? Well, yes I have, but I have
car keys everywhere. I mean, he doesn't lock his car.
He Here's what I think happened. I think that he
left here intending to come back, would be my guess.
At the sometime yesterday afternoon. I don't know where he went.

(08:16):
He intended to come back, yep. And then he starts
drinking and one thing, one drink leads to another, and
then he's completely He drink without a wall. Was going
to pay with your phone? Your phone? Apple paid? Can
I don't carry my wallet ever anymore? What don't carry it?
Something wants your ID? Yeah, I have I have it

(08:38):
on my phone. You did that? Yeah, I'll never do that.
Why not? What are they going to do?

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Because when you get pulled over and ask for your ID,
your phone is not unlocked.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
No, no, that's not true.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
If you don't, you don't have to unlock they're.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Gonna be able to mess with it, and then they
give them. You know, I don't want the police ever
getting close to my phone. What do you have on
your phone? It's so incriminating. Anything they're arresting people for
JD Vance means, dude, they're arresting people for jd vance meetings.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
What do you mean?

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Hicked somebody out of the country and would let him
in because he didn't like the memes he had his phone.
That one guy got arrested for talking bad about Trump.
He's held for thirty days. I don't I'm not giving
the cops my phone. You're nuts.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
I'm not too I'm not too worried about it. But
I mean whatever is convenient, and that is convenient. Let
me see here. Excuse me, Amanda. You're on Rover's Born
in Gloria Burning, Amanda, Hi, Rover.

Speaker 8 (09:36):
I just was listening to the show.

Speaker 9 (09:38):
I don't know if I was listening to yesterday show
or not, but you were talking about your hair and
how you would only take like a pill or something
to grow your hair.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
There is a lotion you can get, It's.

Speaker 9 (09:48):
Called monoxido, and it will grow.

Speaker 8 (09:51):
Your hair so fast.

Speaker 9 (09:52):
It will make your head spend will The only problem
is yes, The only problem is if you use it
anywhere other.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Than where you want hairbroke, you will look like a Rebbels.

Speaker 8 (10:01):
Basically, it will grow your hair so fast.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
So Charlie could put this. You think he could put this.
He could slather his face up with monoxidil, that's right,
and he could uh, and he could grow facial hair,
you believe.

Speaker 8 (10:16):
Yeah, So my friend was using it just to.

Speaker 9 (10:18):
Like grow her hairline in a bit more.

Speaker 8 (10:21):
And she ended up with like a full face of hair.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
And is now like getting.

Speaker 8 (10:25):
The electronicist to get facial hair. Oh?

Speaker 9 (10:28):
Yes, you can get it at Costco. It's called monoxidil.
It's Google hair Grow all right. Here, I'm with an
m and it'll pop up.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
But I just wanted to let you know in case
you really do want to grow your hair, all right, Amanda?
Thank you, Thank you, Amanda. You should try it. Have
you tried it? Snitz? You seem to know that air
in Yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
Yeah, I've had had it before the Moose when I
was younger, m h, in my forties.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Did they have any effect you, young punk? Did you
smell like George Costanza? No?

Speaker 7 (11:03):
No, no, it's no, it's a it was neutral smelling. No,
I just it was too much money. It's my god
at the time. So now I mean I didn't Maybe
I didn't do long enough. It's been off forever.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Let's see, that's the product I don't have to worry
about getting because I don't have to worry about my hair.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Because I know I have all ye show off fertilizer anythings.
That's why.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Hey, well I guess that's that's that's at least like
I said, hopefully it's a product.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
I won't need you think that's what it is. He
hasn't showers so so much fertilizer. It's just gross. No
showered last night? Oh yeah, nice try pal Okay, let
me see here? Where was I haven't right? You were over.
I just wanted to take a moment to express my
heartfelt gratitude for everything you and the entire cast have
done for me over the years. Your radio show has

(11:48):
been a constant source of comfort and inspiration during some
of my toughest times. The honesty, humor, and genuine connection
you create with your listeners have meant so much to me.
I truly believe that your show has played a significant
role in my journey. Today I celebrate sixteen years of sobriety.
It's incredible out the stories, discussions, laughter have helped me

(12:09):
stay grounded and motivated. I find Dougey very attractive. I
miss Steed or thank you for being a light in
my life and in the lives of so many others.
Keep doing what you do best. Well, Evan, thank you.
That's inspiring. You know I have. I was thinking about
this the other night because I was thinking, what am I?
What do I want to do here? What am I?

(12:31):
You know, am I going to redo a contract with iHeart?
I don't know these guys, you know? They yeah, they
just there's so much red tape. Like I wanted to
redo the studio, and they go, oh my god, there's
there's so much red tape. I go forget it. I can't,
I can't. I can't deal with this. Now it's off.
Now I think it's off because it's it's what they want.

(12:52):
I mean, it's just so ridiculous. I mean, they want
they wanted you to pay for it, but they keep everything. Yeah,
they keep they own everything, and they they want me
to pay for it, even though like they want me
to buy all this equipment and then it's just their
So I go, who in the right mind would do that?
Then I can't even write it off. I need to
buy it. No, they actually wait, hold on, they have
to buy it. And then they just docked me my pay.

(13:14):
So that then, and.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
It's also the equipment they picked, notts of stuff you
would want exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I mean, they keep it and.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
The equipment doesn't meet yours exacting specification.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Not only that, but yeah, I wanted to put a
big wrap around led thing in here, and like the panels,
not TVs panels, and I wanted to build a roof.
They go, no, I can't do that. I go, why not, Well,
somebody might trip and fall into it and hurt themselves
and then see us, I go, Jesus Christ. They just

(13:45):
they pull cramp right out of their ass, just right
out of their ass. That's a weird answer.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
What happened to any wall we have, like the red
the red entrance we have, is I'd be confusing to
something the color blind and they could walk into the
wall or the glass door.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
I don't I didn't see the glass door. I walked
into it and then they and then they go, oh, well,
the uh and then on top of that, those panels
they they break sometimes. I go, okay, so what so
what they have one at their corporate headquarters. Apparently nobody's
fallen into that ensued yet. But they go, yeah, there's
always going on one of those things. I go, yeah,
but it's not your problem. They go, no, no, our engineers

(14:21):
have to be fully because they're going to fix. I go,
your engineers aren't going to do Diddley squad. Do we
have engineering? I haven't seen an engineer here in years.
So I just the original offer was you just to
pay for it right and do everything, just leave me
alone alone, And they refuse to do that, and so

(14:41):
it's caused me to think the other the other night,
and I was thinking, I go, I don't know, maybe
that's maybe maybe who knows if I'll do So I'm
not saying anything one way or the other. But I
didn't think to myself, oh, yeah, I'm doing that, go
out on your own. Well, of course, I I did

(15:01):
think to myself that we have been with people for
twenty almost twenty five years, and think about this, twenty
five years from the time that I run into people,
and like, oh, I started listening to you with my dad,
I was twelve years old or whatever, you know, and
twenty five years of your life listening to this show

(15:22):
and knowing everyone on this show, and so it's a
big part of people's lives. And I'm not saying that
they tried to make inflate myself for in sense I'm
saying I also I am very grateful for it because
I really have what I believe to be a nice

(15:45):
connection with the audience, and it's provided me a lot
of benefits. And I'm not talking monetarily. I'm talking you know,
how introverted I am and whatnot talking to people and
meeting people and all of that. It's really been a
great connection.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
So now you also have good long time report with
listeners through at least two generations, because as you mentioned,
you have listeners to say, I've been listening to the
show since I was a kid with my dad, and
now they listen to the show, and next thing you know,
they have a kid, they start listening.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
So it's a generator. You have that generational connection. Yeah,
I mean, I'm great going up, but I just I
do I somewhat of appeal. I want to go out
just be one of these old dudes that they have
at the AM stations and just yell at people. It's
just you know, be so just so nasty and have
have just a show for my last year where I

(16:44):
just yeah, that's it and I go out screw you.
You know, it's cool about it.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
What's that is We've been on the air for so
long and there are so many listeners that have grown
up with us, and now.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
They have families. It's like generations of people. Well, you
also take it for granted because you go, well, they've
been on forever. It's never going to go.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, I think I just heard it echo, Oh oh.

Speaker 10 (17:08):
You know.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Jeffres it, Yeah, Charlie dirtyus. Look, it's like are you
a more U No. Then you take it for granted though,
and you go it's always been always been around, I
always will be and not always. Can they even talk

(17:32):
to you? There's been yes, yes, but but I don't know.
I just you know, you do that living up to
thinks that they're supposed to be doing. I just want
to anyway. I don't want to get into all that.
It's inconsequential. Uh no, I'm not going to go down
this road. When you move to you I'm having a conversation,

(17:53):
you know. Yeah, I don't want to get into it.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
You don't want to.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Brought it up. Then you start yelling about it. God,
you're annoying. I like that old B. B. King song
I'm Moving On? Never heard of it? She never has,
She's never heard of that. It's okay, it was. She
finds it impossible to do it? Yep, no, quick, it
was from B. B.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
There was an album BB King did did way back
in nineteen ninety one. I think it was one of
the last albums he recorded, called There's Always One More Time.
The opening song is a song called I'm Moving On.
I love Charlie even has the audio of that song
sing I don't know, I forget I.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Only heard that song. I can't even remember it myself.
Let's see here, where was.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Dan?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Right?

Speaker 1 (18:44):
So I look forward to Trump's legal team viewing all
of the screen recordings. I hope you are living intent
by the time they are done taking everything you own.
I don't know what this means. I also attached iHeart
licensing number with them and sent them to the CC office.
I've also requested a health department and business licenses for

(19:04):
all your ex for businesses along with tax information. Keep talking,
what is this? What does this guy? What does this mean?
What's it? What is this idiot? This imbecile? He said,
So he's sending clips of the show to the screen recording.
So he looks forward to Trump's legal team viewing all
the screen recordings that he's sending. Oh yeah, I'm going

(19:24):
to look like the bad one when you do that,
We're gonna have new fans. Secret Service is going to
show up at your place, going, what the hell is this?
Why is this maniac keep sending us screen recordings of
a radio show? Okay, did you get any sleep last night? Yes?
I got plenty of sleep, Yes, absolutely, Nick writes. On

(19:48):
yesterday's show, Rover said that Dougie refuses to take advice
from anyone. Then I thought about it. Who ignores advice
the most, Dougie or Jeffrey. Jeffrey. I really do hope
that he decides to man up and actually guide Tomash
in the right direction in life. Is helping him to
find work and even helping him learn to drive. Otherwise,

(20:08):
I feared Tomash will be stuck wasting his life away.
Jeffrey's daughter val Ray seems to have her life figured
out and is currently pursuing what she wants. I want
to see Tomash do the same. But as long as
Jeffrey refuses to be a father and actually help his son,
and Tomash will never truly get to experience life well.

(20:30):
To go back to the root of his question, who
refuses to take advice more? I would say, I think Dougie.
I think Dougie. See here's Jeffrey is incapable of taking
the advice. He'll hear it and he'll be like yeah, yeah, yeah,

(20:52):
and then he just it's out the other ear. He
doesn't even remember. He's just you know, he's not Dougie.
Purposely will I'm not listen to you and refuse to
do anything. And it's it's it goes beyond me by
the way, it absolutely does. And other people here will
back me up on this. Oh absolutely. If someone in

(21:16):
a position of authority, her boss at the radio station,
if they if they have an idea or they want
her to do something, she has oppositional defiant disorder ODD.
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Very simple, if it's like a simple task, okay, can
you email me that. No, she'll go for whatever reason.
She'll pick that person and go why would I ever
do that? Yeah, I never send that email. I just won't.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
And it's like, just somebody wants some little help. You
want to talk, huh, go ahead, gives an example. Charlie
is always willing to help out, give an example. You
guys just trying to take me down. I am very nice.
I'm nice. You're not.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
Yeah, you're a really crass person. Rude yes, and crash
and crash around you guys. I am because it you
bug me.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
But all boils down to someone, some idiot that Doogie
worked with years ago sent her to therapy, and this
nutcase therapist not a nutcase Dougie, that she needs to
assert herself more people walk all over you and did
She took this as I have to be a see
you next Tuesday. And I think that anybody requests and

(22:23):
asks I have to I have to fight with them.
Otherwise she feels as if somebody's trying to take advantage
of you. So if I trust me, I've given her advice. No,
I've made requests. I'll give you an example. I don't
need you. When can you give us an example? When
it comes to this, I see Dougie and I don't

(22:47):
know how many times I've had to tell you this,
but it doesn't go through this no going at hers,
I go, do you have to think when you're doing this, Hizzy?
I don't want to. You have to think of of
what is the importance in somebody's life of the story
that you're doing. So why don't you lead with stories? I? No,

(23:07):
you don't.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yes, I always lead, I always.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
I said, why, Yeah, you lead with a national thing.
But it will be a recall about baby food in
the Washington And nobody in the audience is worried about this.
They just don't They don't care. And I'm good. Uh
So she just refuses to take any sort of advice
or direction. And this is I'm good. See, this is

(23:33):
I know what I'm doing. She's proving my point. James, right,
So you're over. I love the show. I had a
little issue while listening a few weeks ago. I'm a
full time custom cabinet builder and carpenter. I was using
my table saw cutting down some wood and I had
a kickback. Oh no, Charlie can probably tell me all
about kickbacks causing my hands to go into the blade.

(23:58):
I'll attach some pictures of my hand. It's not healed,
just missing my index fingernail. Thank you for all the laughs.
While I heal, I continue to do the job I love.
Please tell Charlie and not to ever take his writhing knife.
Who mine's off, Even if it's easier. I don't know
our iv.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
I thing behind the blade that will keep the there's
just an extra piece of metal to stop the wood
from retouching after Oh okay, it just keeps it kind
of more split. But sometimes you want to take it
off for whatever reason. Maybe I don't know. There's certain
reasons where you're like, this would be easier for taking
you're to get the kickback. I luckily never had one,

(24:38):
but you've all had all your fingers. It's only a
matter of time. Not it's only a matter of time.
Here's the riving knife. It's behind the blade. There you go,
so after it goes through, after the wood goes through
the that thing keeps it still separated.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Okay, And.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
I don't know why you want to take it off.
Maybe you're doing a really shallow cut. Whatever, there's reasons why.
Sometimes you're like, I can't use the riving knife.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Well, let me see this guy's finger let's see what
he has done to himself here and oh my god,
a little warning over here.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
Ah well, what you have to really do is get
that saw.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Stop. Saw stop? What's that?

Speaker 8 (25:21):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (25:21):
The hot dog?

Speaker 5 (25:22):
It's a saw that it has an electrical current in it,
and when it touches any such as the skin, it
immediately stops the blade.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Ruins the blade, but it stops it and you won't
cut your finger. How does that work? How does that even? Technically?

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Pom pulse goes through and then it immediately ejects the
blade down. I think eject would be the word. But
shoots the blade down onto this thing that just stops it.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
And I'll show you. I'll show it hot dogs. Yeah,
and and and uh, it's that fast that you know
it's yourself. I mean it's it's an incredible technology. But
that saw, it's like it's very expensive. Three grand. Here's good.
At least you have all your fingers see it not
even you're kidding me. And I didn't even know this

(26:05):
is such a thing exists. Let me see this one
more time. I get there's a lower. How in the
world does this happen?

Speaker 5 (26:15):
I'll try to find an explanation video Yeah, there's just
a current going through and when the current somehow when it.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
When the current is closed or it's open. I don't
know which one of the other one or the other.
It's always fun to listen to people on this show
talk science because we know literally nothing, absolutely nothing. We
know it works. Yeah, and we've seen something once years ago,
and you know, we picked up about two percent of
it a day.

Speaker 11 (26:41):
The saw stop safety system works, and it has eight
thousands of fingers here in a few simple steps, let
me walk you through how it works. When the saw
is on, it's constantly on the lookout for change. Each
saw stop saw has a break cartridge just underneath the
blade and through the arbor. Saw introduces a small electrical.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Signal onto the blade.

Speaker 11 (27:03):
When the woodworker touches the blade, their body absorbs that
electrical signal. A digital signal processor in the brake cartridge
detects the change and triggers the release of a heavy
duty spring, forcing an aluminum brake into the spinnach blade.
The saw blade goes from four thousand rpm to zero

(27:23):
almost instantly. The blade's momentum forces it to retract below
the table, and the motor is automatically shut off. All
of that happens in less than five milliseconds, ten times
faster than a car's airbag, ten times faster than your
reflexes can respond to danger, fast enough to turn a
life changing event into a minor cut, and all without

(27:47):
damaging the saw. After actix, new cartridge, a new blade,
and five minutes and you're back in business.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Wise, just off put it on. That's not what that's
an expenses. I have the riving knife, which is totally different. Okay, well,
whatever it is, put it back on.

Speaker 12 (28:03):
No, and you replace the cartridge that you're after everyone, Well,
the cartridge breaks and your blade breaks.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Okay, well you have your fingers.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
After the fact that I saw blade in that part,
but you can't explaining what you have to do.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
I'm not arguing whether the advice you can pay one
hundred dollars or we cut off your fingers.

Speaker 12 (28:24):
Literally, nobody's arguing this is way cheaper just to replace
the blade, because I've never cut myself at the table sauce,
so it's pretty rare that you probably actually do use
the saw stop feature where it stops, so yes, it's
completely worth it.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
On You're you're in a different conversation complete more on anyways,
nobody's arguing it.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Why did you take that off? The saw stop? Let's
see how much a sauce stop is really disappointed in safety?
First thirty eight hundred. It's just now, what about the
replacement thing? It's not a whole another thirty eight hundred. No,
it's probably a hundred bucks. I bet right, for another cartridge.
So that's that. I don't know cartridge. It's got to

(29:04):
be one hundred bucks more or less one hundred, a
hundred and thirty. But that would be one thing you
smile at though, when you have to replace that. If
you go, I'm going to spend one hundred and twenty
dollars right now, and I'm going to smile the whole
time because i have all ten digits. Nicole says, Jeffrey.
Please let me know. How do you feel about John Cena.

(29:26):
Did you watch his final Monday Night Raw? As a
fellow wrestling fan, I am said to see him go,
but the memories he's left us all with will be
there forever. How many times that they retired, I know,
aside from wrestling and being the greatest of all time,
he has the world record for number one Make a
Wish Foundation visits. He has changed so many lives through

(29:48):
the connection of wrestling. I can't wait to see his
final match in December. Sorry, Rover, if you actually read
this email, Jeffrey will go off for a long time
with his wrestling knowledge. Probably all right. So did you
see his final Monday Night Raw appearance? No? I did not.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
I kind of went to bed early, and usually the
next day I catch up on all the highlights from
Monday Night Raw, so I'll make sure that I do.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
I did see the highly I did see. There's a video.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
There is a high He was in a six man
taxi match for his final match at the car at
Madison Square Garden. Last week, he had his final appearance
at the in his hometown in Boston.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
What happened to Jeffrey and wrestling? He used to be
a huge wrestling fans. Oh you think that's what it is?
You think that still? I mean, he still likes wrestling,
but he just doesn't. He doesn't stay as up to
date with current wrestlers.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
As soon as he started getting motor chicks, motor boating
and stuff, it's just the current.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Just dude, those students and tights, those sweating guys and
tights weren't so appealing.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
It just what happened to say that everybody, once you're
in middle school and you finally found out about chicks,
you'd give up wrestling.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
So it happened Jeffrey when he's forty five, whatever, Charlie.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Anyhow, I also, for a long time ago, I cut
the cable, so I don't get the i'mtunity to watch
the actual show, so I still keep up on it
wrestling as best I can.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
David Wrights, You know what, Ever, my wife and I
recently came across z Biotics, a pre alcohol drink that
claims to help prevent hangovers. We gave it a trial,
and while it seems to work, we don't drink enough
to really test its effectiveness. With the Holidays coming up,
it would be interesting to know if anyone on the
show has had any experience with these, or if it

(31:32):
would be a worthwhile challenge to put a pre alcohol
drink like z Biotics to the test. I would love
to get your guys's opinions. I've never heard of this,
but there have been various things throughout the years that
we or people on the show have tried. There was one.
One was like these charcoal pills that Deeter used to
to try or he would he would he would swallow

(31:55):
these charcoal pills before he would drink. And you had
to you had to swallow like a handful of these,
and it's essentially I guess the premise was that it
would soak up the alcohol or the toxins or filter.
I don't know what it was supposed to do. It
would turn your poop dark black, I think, And I
don't know if that really worked or not. And oh,

(32:17):
you were also supposed to drink like six glasses of water.
That's the real thing. That's that's really what it is.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Just drink water, and nobody does it because you're drink
anything I want to.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
You don't want to peat too much. And so I agree,
if you just drink water while you drink, it really
almost cures every hangover. But man, there's there is something
like if I drink an aperol sprints or something, if
I overdo it with those, I do get a headache
in the middle of the night. I know you're not

(32:48):
supposed to take etcetera. And I think it's because of
the seed of Menafin that Thilan al etcetera. Is like aspirin.
What is it aspirin and Thailand all mixed together or something.
I don't know, but I know it's supposed to You're
not supposed to take that if you're drinking because it
does something to your liver, your kidneys or something. I
don't know. But it gets rid of the headache. So

(33:09):
I take it anyways, and sometimes I free amptively do
that before I get into bed, where my wife was
forced me, depending on how much I've had to drink.
She kind of she kind of knows, like you have
to take I'll be you got to take these out,
take up. So I don't know if that works or not.

(33:32):
Curious George, you run rovers morning Glory, Good morning, Curious.

Speaker 10 (33:35):
George, Good morning, wherever her are you?

Speaker 1 (33:38):
I'm doing all right. What was happening?

Speaker 10 (33:41):
Hey, so Rover today back in twenty eleven was a
big day for somebody on your crew, and I just
didn't know if you guys know who it is and
what happened.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Two eleven, I got nothing. Let's see November eighteenth, twenty eleven.
It could be one of a handful of things. It
could be. I don't think it's just for getting hired
full time. That's not it. I believe that was in
December or something. I could be wrong. It could be

(34:13):
the last time Dougie got laid. Oh no, that's it.
Is that it? That's it. You think that's what it is.
It's November eighteenth. Yeah, it's a curious am I? Right?
Curious George? You guys are right November eighteenth, twenty eleven.

(34:37):
Now there's always a dispute about how many years it's been.
But you're telling me fourteen years ago. Today was the
last time she was twenty twelve. Why are you? Why
are you trying to confuse things? Why are you trying
to make it more confusing. She's just making a fucking
November eighteenth, twenty eleven. Fourteen years ago. Today was the

(34:58):
last time Dougie was penetrated by right, stop it. I
have a reputation in the community. Oh yeah, well yeah,
it's you're real all right, curious George? If how are
you curious? George? She's trying to change the subject. Let's
get back to her the last time she had sex.

(35:20):
She's trying to get get it onto you. If you curious, George,
were able to be with Dougie today, would you break
her dry spell?

Speaker 10 (35:34):
I could not. I considered do she like a like
a sister?

Speaker 1 (35:37):
She's so sweet and I can't look at her like her?
Do you remember how much she hated her? Just oh?
Man worked through that.

Speaker 10 (35:46):
You have a girlfriend now, Curious George, no girlfriend alone?
And yeah, I not gonna pass yet. I used to
butt heads, but I've changed since then. So do she
the best? And she's a sweetheart.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
So I love you, George. Think all right? Curious George,
thank you. Let's see, I've got to take a break.
Jeffrey's a bad dad, writes, Can you ask the accident
lady what's going on on seventy seven North in Canton?

(36:22):
Trying to get up by Medina? But all three lanes
of seventy seven North have been stopped for the past
twenty minutes for miles. Sounds like some sort of major issue.
I don't I have no idea what that is. All right,
let me what I don't know? This lady says, what's

(36:46):
the story of the one hundred thousand dollars candy bar
by Charlie's computer? It's been there forever one hundred grand?
Is that what you means? Oh, it's a candy bar
that he's gonna let me.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
I could have, but I haven't eaten it yet because
I keep it for an emergency sugar face. Ah, okay,
So you just sleep it right there, keep it handy
in case I get hunger.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Well, I wanted to look over there too, because I
know Charlie brought him a ring pop one day and
he left it here too.

Speaker 6 (37:13):
Anytime somebody gives him something delicious, he just leaves it.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
He doesn't care. All right, I've got to take a break.
Eight six six. Your Rover is our number eight six
six nine six seven six eighty three seven. We'll be
right back. Hang on, Jay in New Jersey, you're on

(37:41):
Rover's Morning Glory. Good morning Jay. What's up Rovert? Charlie? Hi? Hi, good,
hey man, Hey man, Jeffrey, why won't you drive.

Speaker 10 (37:57):
For Florida when you got offered a trip go to
the Aerospace Museum with a girl with big boobs.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
Well, let's see, Jay, let's see money. The fact I'm married,
I don't think my wife would let that happen.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
What's he even talking about? I'll tell you story.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
He called it in the aftermath yesterday, and he made
a suggestion and he did it and.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Kind of a kind of a crass tone of voice.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
You know, I don't know, I mean, like you just
And then then some fifty year old woman calls.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
It, and I became nicer, if you will.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
And I think what people will get is I'm a
reactionary person.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Yeah, you react to boobs, you react to coositively.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
This guy called it and just suggested, hey, there's this
cool place you should check out Jefferson after you screw
you don't.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Nobody tells me what to do. And then, uh, I
don't know. Twenty minutes later, a woman, fifty five year
old woman called in.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
She had nice, same suggestion, same suggestion, Can we meet
up Jeffrey and Florida.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
And Jeffrey's like, yeah, maybe I'll take it right down.
Yeah I can take it too.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
And I also told I don't think my wife's gonna
let me do that by myself.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
So took a while for speaking of your wife letting
you do something. There's a story or your spouse or
whoever letting you do something. There's a story that happened
in Sri Lanka where a woman was traveling by herself.
I believe in Sri Lanka and which is just ladies. Look,

(39:25):
I'm all for a strong, independent, powerful women, but I
also think I don't know about traveling yourself through Sri Lanka.
I would say that to a dude, A guy going
to Sri Lanka by themselves probably not a great idea anyhow.
So this woman is in the I don't know she's

(39:47):
like in this I don't know exactly what it is.
What they call these things like Charlie and I have
written in a rickshaw. This isn't a rickshaw. I'm not
sure exactly what she's in it. It's like a little
covered vehicles. Anyways, I don't know. There's a guy, this
woman who's traveling in Sri Lanka. There's a guy who's

(40:09):
outside standing next to her, and he has a suggesting
a big smile on his face, and he he's a
suggestion for her to do something, perhaps a request or here,
watch what happens to this vehicle she's in. If you
just want to see, Okay, let me see one of
these things.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
I think it's like a three wheel motorcycle, but it's covered.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
What the hell is that even called three wheel motorcycles? Covered? Covered?
So she in the back of this thing, and then
there's a driver in the front. No, she's driving, No
by herself. No, I don't think so, because I'm looking
at her knees right now and a driver right I
think there's a driver, I believe. If you look at
this first frame of the video here, you can see

(40:55):
that her knees are up against this this wall. I
think so there's a driver. But anyway, here watch this.
If you can always fire up our mg TV for
free at roverradio dot com or with the Rover Radio
app on your phone, your tablet or your TV. That's
called a tuck tuck, a tuk tuk. That's what I
do when I put on my wife's panties, a tuck tuck,

(41:19):
I hear. Watch this, Watch this guy for the Sri
Lankan guy who appears to be wearing a helmet like
a bike helmet or something. I don't know. Here, listen, watch, well,
maybe she is driving this thing. Let me just play

(41:43):
this for you again. She is driving this thing. Charlie's right,
because I thought she was in the back of it.
But no, she's in a tuck tuck driving the tuck tuck.
And this guy comes up to her and basically is
standing outside the Tuck Tuck, this little three wheeled like
vehicle thing, and he's like, hey, do you want to
have sex? And she's like what. She probably can't understand

(42:05):
his accent. She understood it. I don't know. He kept
saying no. Well, then the guy you'll see it's blurred out.
She pixilated it. He just whips it out right there,
just whips it out. She starts sex, please, just starts

(42:28):
just cranking it. He whips it out. No, no, no, please, Hey,
it's scary. Back to the side of the day. My
morning actually started promptly then she I guess sort of
explains here what happened promptly. But after my mood change.

Speaker 13 (42:49):
There was a man driving scooter in front of me
and he would continually slow down so I'd have to
pass in and again keep going on and on and off.
The first time I saw him, and after that I
kept ignoring him and I thought I'd lost him until
I pulled over to have a small wrist and a
drink and he had hid again.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Got off a scooter and came to talk to me.

Speaker 13 (43:06):
It was a bit of a language barrier, but he
seemed from me, so I let him try to talk
to me, but then it quickly turned uncomfortable and he
asked where I was staying, and I knew where it
was going.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
I wish I had reacted more firmly, but I was
just in shock.

Speaker 13 (43:16):
That's crazy asking that question, And after I said no,
he's still with the audacity to expose himself to me
like that. I guess this is just another reminder to
sit aside of people pleasing and speak up loudly when
things like this happens.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
Speaking of loudly when some maniac that's not going to
help you out, when you're in Shri Lanka by yourself.
You know this trick is driving around Sri Lanka. Yeah,
I'm sure most of the Sri Lankans are probably very nice,
but you know the guy did. He shot a shot,
that's for sure. Nothing wrong with asking the girl if

(43:49):
she wants to have sex, But when he whips it
out and he's and he's stroking it, Yeah, you've crossed
a line there. Would you let your girlfriend travel to
Sri Lanka by herself, Charlie.

Speaker 5 (44:02):
No, never, what if she had country by yourself is
a bad idea man or woman.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
So if she wanted to go to Canada by herself.
You would say, I don't know, I don't know's the
nice streets or the bad streets? Or you should always
have I think you should always be if you're going
to someplace new, you should be with somebody else for sure.
What about if your girlfriend wanted to go to Sri
Lanka but with another girl. There's two girls, They're like,
we're going to go backpack through Sri Lanka for fourteen days.

(44:30):
Well you would say no, I forbid you from Well, no,
I would never say that.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
I'd say I don't like that plan. It's a bad plan.
I'm strongly recommending that you don't do that.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Would you go with her?

Speaker 3 (44:41):
If she's like, I'm I'm gonna go, then you would
have to go with her.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
I guess I don't know if I want to backpack
through Sri Lanka. But maybe maybe that was the Sri
Lankan Charlie and he was on a scooter, she's on
the tut tut or tuck tuck whatever it is, and
it was actually a road rage incident and that guy
wasn't trying to have s with her. That was his motion.
Kind of like Charlie does that to drivers.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Oh yeah, he's angry at Maybe that guy listens to
the show.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
And thought that's what he is. What Charlie, Yeah, he
was a little lost in translation. He was actually juggling
his balls, not making emotion like juggling balls. He's still learning.
Oh boy. Uh, but Jesus christ Man, how scared do
you have?

Speaker 5 (45:25):
I mean, look, I always think when I see stuff
like this about your sister.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
She used to travel around to do this, right, Yes,
totally insane. She would go by herself to all of
these foreign countries Asia, South America. And my sister is
God bless her. She's actually getting married, but stay in hostels.
She yeah, and she is so she's I want to

(45:51):
say naive, but yeah, yeah, she's trusting. And she would
tell these stories and I'm like, oh my god, are
you are you serious what you're telling me here? Like
she would. I remember a story that she told me.
It was something about like how some guy that she
was staying at a hostel and the guy was talking
to her, but then she went and then the guy,

(46:12):
oh and then he just he had extra pizza and
he asked me if I wanted some extra. He's trying
to get in your pants.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
You know.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
No, he's just a nice guy. But baloney, absolutely not.
See that's what women do. Have a different opinion on
the world. Like I remember Charlie and I were out
with these hot chicks and they just thought everybody was
so nice. If you're a good looking girl, everyone in
the world is nice to you, and you just think, oh,
people are so kind, so helpful. No, no, people are rotten.

(46:44):
They just are trying to be nice to get into
your pants. And she would go to home too. I
know she was in Guatemala. I think she went to
I don't know all the different places that she went.
And well, she did up in a weird boat. Yeah,
that's the weirdest thing, didn't She end up on some
boat with some guy two months and I don't.

Speaker 5 (47:04):
Want to say a sex boat, but it's not like
a sex boat.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
But it was with a couple other girls that he.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
Had picked up. I think, so it was like three girls.
I have to remember exactly what that was.

Speaker 5 (47:14):
But Brian Epstein arry because he's nobody had to pay,
nobody had to worry. If you want to come live
on the boat, go for it. I remember that you.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
Had to work though, But it was only it was
only like twenty year old chicks or something, twenty four
year old chicks who were you know, with nice bodies?
Wasn't Was it like Charlie wasn't invited to come work
on this boat? There were no dudes. It was just
this old guy and all these hot chicks on the boat.
Those were his deck hands. Did I say deck or
did I know?

Speaker 2 (47:46):
So?

Speaker 1 (47:48):
Is she's very and you could see that's a red
flag right, yeah, But my sister, I, oh, he just
seemed like a nice guy.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
I wonder now the olders her older self looks back
and says.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
That was stupid, Probably because the older you get, you
and the older I've gotten, you realize you've seen everything.
You've seen it, You've seen things in the news. You
realize things can go bad. When you're young, you go,
I haven't heard of somebody dying on a zip line
in Costa Rica or whatever. You know, it happens all

(48:24):
the time. You just you're on vacation and you don't
worry about it. You're like, no, it must be safe. No,
it's not. So. The older you get, the more mature
and realistic to the way of the world. Justin you're
ron Rover's Morning Glory. Morning. Justin, Hey, Rover, how's it going, Hey,

(48:44):
what's happening? Hey? I think I might know why all
the boys in Sri Lanka are going crazy like that?
Why is that? Well?

Speaker 8 (48:54):
If I remember correct, I believe that Jeffrey used to
make trips out there to Sri Lanka and giving out oral.
Oh maybe he's not hasn't been out there in a while,
Saint true, Jeffrey, you would go to Sri Lanka.

Speaker 4 (49:09):
That is the biggest load of DS I have ever
heard in my life. I could just vomit right now.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Just he reenamateed somebody who send in like videos of
some Poorstri Lanka holding a sign saying.

Speaker 4 (49:20):
Yeah something Sri Lanka or whatever the hell you want
to say that kind of thing. So justin go blank
yourself out. Okay, Dave, you're Ron Rover's Morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Good morning? Uh you said good morning, Dave.

Speaker 10 (49:36):
Hey, I just wanted to remind you about that last
time that Dougie had sex. Didn't the guy tell her
that he can't do it anymore because she reminds him
of his mother?

Speaker 1 (49:46):
Yes, that is true, that is true. Yes, she's always
trying to make those You feel better about herself. And
it wasn't that he couldn't do it anymore, is that
he he couldn't climb X because she reminded him too
much of his mother being a you know, being an
old lady. So good, good job, thank you for bringing
up that sore subject with Usia. I've got to take

(50:07):
a break. We'll get to the Chizzy the News next

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
