Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everybody to the Clay Travis n Buck Sexton Show.
It is showtime on this Thursday, September fifth. We are
excited to be with you. I got some breaking news
right off the top here just happening, just rocketing across
the news spear, the Internet, the television screens of America.
(00:23):
Hunter Biden, whose tax evasion case was supposed to start today,
is pleading guilty. This reported by Fox Fox News. I believe,
among others, Hunter Biden to change his plea to guilty
in the tax case. There's there's some things we'll dive
(00:45):
into about this. Just the first thing that comes to
mind is, hey, remember when Joe Biden said he wasn't
going to commute his or pardon his son, and Clay
and I said, that's laughable. Just remember that. I know
that you know that we were right because you knew
that too, But just remember that moment in time. Like
this guy's so obviously lying. He didn't have to lie.
(01:06):
And I actually don't blame him for the future pardon
of his son that is coming. He could have just said,
I'm not going to talk about an ongoing legal issue.
That's it. That's the smart man's move. On that because
obviously he's not gonna let his son Hunter Biden. He'd
go to like a club fed for six months or something.
I mean maybe a year. It wouldn't I'm talking just
the tax charge. Now. I know there's the money laundering,
(01:28):
there's all these other things they could have, but for
a tax thing that maybe send him away for a year,
he serves six months or something. Who knows, sou' that's
the big breaking news. Off the top and Clay, We've
also got Trump speaking of New York City about his
economic policy. Some more details there, Kamala Harris's economic policy.
There's a bunch of things moving around to the political
(01:51):
sphere right now. Oh. Trump to adopt Elon Musk's proposal
for a government efficiency commission. I love this. This would
be putting Elon in charge of getting rid of the
dead wood, hending Elon a chainsaw and putting him in
the dense overgrowth of our federal government and saying, go
(02:14):
to work, buddy. We'll talk more about that too. I
think I do, though, need to start Clay with because
I see these things as very much linked. At this
point in time. You have the sudden re emergence of
the Russia. Russia. Russian narrative mentioned this yesterday and then
there was this linked indictment that's come out. They led
(02:36):
with it on Mourning Joe, so you know that this
is setting the news cycle for the rest of the
Democrat talk shows and everything else. They led with it
on Mourning Joe. And we can get into a little
bit of the Russia thing and how crazy it is
and all that in a second. But my first note
is they have had to abandon Kamala's way out ahead
(02:57):
because she's not. They have had to walk away from
This is all about defensive democracy because they've installed the
candidate who didn't get a single vote instead of actually
having a primary after colluding the Democrat Party colluding together
to hide the dementia of the sitting president from the
American people. That is what happened. So the different they
(03:20):
still say it, but you know, the defensive democracy thing
for them is sounding a little weak. I think that
the Kamala campaign implosion is imminent and they know it,
and they are already doing two things. They're setting themselves
up for what happens the day after the election, what
(03:40):
their next steps will be. I've said it here before.
I think you and I have agreed on this, or
we both put this forward, Clay, they will pull some
refuse to certify stunt. If Trump wins, that's I think
almost a certainty. Now they will just say he cannot
be president. That's a big part of this. And I
also think that they're trying to emotionally prepare the Democrat
base for or Trump is worse than Hitler, but in
(04:04):
fact he's going to be president again. So deal with it, everybody.
You know, there's a little bit of preparation of the
battleground here to soften the blow a little bit. I
think are you as bullish on the implications of the
pivot to Russia at this moment in time? Do you
see it differently? You just want to weigh in on
(04:25):
Hunter Biden is gonna go Hunter Biden's taken a deal.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Well, first of all, I'm in Los Angeles where Hunter
Biden was due to stand trial, and I do think
this buck Hunter Biden's story ties in with everything that
has happened relating to the Facebook collusion and the attempt
to rig the twenty twenty election over whether or not
that laptop was real. Remember where we were roughly a
(04:54):
year ago, they were going to let him off with
no punishment at all. I do think a lot of
people have forgotten about what a sweetheart deal they had negotiated.
Last summer. He walked into a Delaware courtroom and there
was nothing that was going to happen to him. And
only because of those IRS agents who came forward and testified,
(05:17):
only because the House was won back by Republicans, was
there any light at all shined.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
On his direct corruption.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
And so the decision to by Judge Mary Ellen Norrieika
to say, no, I'm not signing off on this sweetheart deal.
I don't think he's going to go to prison. But
he has now pled guilty, been convicted in Delaware and
now pled guilty in La Buck to charges that would
see him potentially worthy or able to be sentenced to
(05:51):
years in prison, and they were going to let him
off with no punishment at all. And this is a
sign I think also of how shook they were that
the conviction happened in Delaware, because they've done a lot
of posturing about how he was going to beat all
these charges, and then on the day of the trial itself,
he comes in and just says, you know what, I'm
actually guilty. I'm not even going to offer any defense
(06:13):
at all.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
And it's also fascinating, I think for everybody I know
right now, there are a few people who there's been
a leak about an indictment that has to do with
Russian money being funnel to the conservative media. We're never
going to shy away from talking about anything here just
because it goes to our team. This is what is known.
I'm not going to name the people. You can look
(06:36):
online if you care to, but I can tell you
I consider some of them to be or at least
one of them to be a personal friend. I'm not
sure how many names have actually come out, so I
can't give you a specific on the numbers. But there
was money that went through a media basically passed through
to them, and we're being told and again morning Joe
(06:58):
Lead's story, biggest story in the country right now is
that there was some money that was given to people
to make some videos they didn't know, according to the
DOJ's own indictment, that the money was being essentially used
as a pass through from another source. So somebody comes
to you and your work in the media business and
they say, hey, i'd like to pay you to, you know,
make some videos in the following topics and try to
(07:19):
build up our channel or our reach. Are you interested?
Just to be clear, everybody in the media business takes
that meeting at least or is willing to say, Hey,
I'll hear you out on this, And so it's not
fair to impugne people based upon the possibility that they
knew when so far as far as we know, they
didn't know at all. And one of them is confirmed
to me personally, again not going to use any names.
(07:41):
One of them's confirmed me personally absolutely no idea that
there was money going through any kind of a pass through.
So that's that's what that's where that stands. But I
bring it up in the context of Hunter Biden because
what's the big problem with this thing of money going
to an entity and some of the money coming from
Russia and they're hiding that source or an Agent Registration
(08:01):
Act violation, that's really what they're that's the possibility for Americans.
They've indicted the Russians, but that's a joke because the
Russians are in Russia. You're never you know, this is
like going to the FBI saying, hey, I sent some
money to a guy in like Belarus, Can you get
it back for me? Unfortunately the answer is no. Good luck.
The indictments of the Russians is meaningless. This is all
political theater. They may try to advance this. I don't
(08:22):
know if they will or not. They may try to
advance this against some US persons or against a US entity,
and that would be under Pharah, right, that's the point.
It would be under some kind of clay out. I'm
going into this detail because Hunter Biden one hundred one
hundred percent, the.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Son of the sitting president of the United States, violated Pharah.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Everybody knows it.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
This is all a matter of public record, and they
just decided not to bring the charges.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Against the guy. And now we know he's a convicted
As of today, he's not yet convicted, he's pleaded, but
he's about to be a convicted felon.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
What's a bigger deal a few influencers that get some
money and they don't know where it comes from, or
the son of the president getting paid off by the
Chinese government and Ukrainian oligarchs.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I also buck the reason why the Russia Russia Russia
hoax that they played in twenty sixteen, and it didn't
really happen in twenty twenty on the same level because
it had blown up in their face with the Muller Report.
But let's just be honest and just look at this
from a real politic perspective.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
If you're of.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Vladimir Putin, don't you want Kamala Harris to win. I
think one of the challenges they have at its most
basic level is if you have any intelligence whatsoever, you
have a really difficult time explaining why if Trump is
in such a great relationship with Vladimir Putin, why Putin
(09:50):
did nothing when Trump was in office for four years,
and why as soon as Biden came into office he
immediately evaded Ukraine. Putin was act Actually, I think the
answer is afraid of Trump because he didn't know what
Trump might do, and as a result, he doesn't want
Trump back in office. He wants Kamala back in office.
(10:12):
And I went and read about some of this Russian
disinfo that is out there. I'm not sure what the
intent of the messages and the content that was produced
actually was, because some of it seems anti Trumps in
its motivations, as opposed to like trying to get Trump
(10:34):
elected because he's gonna be Vladimir Putin's puppet. I just
think that argument is very difficult to make at this
point in time. Now, does it make sense to you,
like I don't. Why would Putin want Trump in office?
He's actually with a weaker Kamala, far more likely to
be able to take action against American interest with Kamala
in office, I think, than he would be with Trump.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I think the biggest bang for the buck, so to speak,
from all of the honestly pathetic and completely inconsequential Russian
meddling or nibbling around the edges of our election, I
think the biggest consequence of it, by far is the
self inflicted Red Scare, if you will. Although the Red
(11:17):
Scare was actually based on reality and the Venona Project,
and we could have that talk another time. There were
a lot of communists, by the way, they were all
basically in bed with the Democrats, the Democrat Party and
the unions. But this is effectively what the Red Scare
they said it was. It's actually happening now in a
different context, whereby they can malign and undermine people by
saying that there's some kind of Donald Trump. The most notably,
(11:40):
and we had the whole Muther investigation. We had all
of this, but this is all a distraction, right, the
problem with it. You know, on the one hand, you
have to address this, and this is why gaslighting is effective.
We're sitting here, we're addressing this. I want to talk
and we will. By the way, We've got great guests
too on the show other things. We're talking about a
whole range of topics today, but you know, we want
to talk about the economy and where this election is going.
(12:02):
But the Democrat media, I really think they're trying to
at this point by Kamala time uh. And I really
mean that, because they're gonna run the clock out situation.
With every passing day that people become more familiar with
Kamala Harris, her numbers go down and Democrats get more worried.
So if they can get everybody all freaked out and
(12:23):
talking about Russia, Russia, Russia again again, I can't even
believe we're here, you know what I mean. It's yeah,
it's a it's like, you know, calling for an extra
long time out, calling for a bathroom time out in
the middle of the match. I think they're panicked a
little bit because the numbers are continuing to break against them.
And this poll just came down while we're talking. Uh,
(12:44):
Tim Sheehy, who we had on yesterday running against John
Tester for all the Montana's out there a public poll
that is middle of the road. Uh Now has she he.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Opening up a six point lead head to head an
eight point lead in a multi ballot battle? Why does
that matter? If she he wins in Montana? Republicans are
going to take back control of the Senate.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
And you saw.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Buck Kamala came out and dialed back the Biden capital
gains tax proposals. It would still be the highest capital
gains rate if it passed since nineteen seventy nine. I
think is the data. But I think she's running scared.
I think she's paniced. The fact that she was in
North Carolina I think is a sign that her polls
(13:33):
are bad. The gambling markets. Trump has started to open
up a big lead again September tenth. On Tuesday of
next week, if Trump shows up and gives a solid
B plus B performance, I think you're going to start
to hear, Oh, we're in trouble. And one little detail tomorrow,
(13:54):
North Carolina sends out ballots. We have election season, buck,
all of these numbers start to get baked in starting tomorrow,
basically in some of the battleground states, which is wild
to think about. We want you to vote early, but
we don't just have election day. So whatever the snapshot
is in September and October is going to be reflected
(14:15):
in the final totals. And I think things are breaking
perfectly for Trump at the right time.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
We'll take some of your calls on this as well.
Eight hundred two A two two eight A two. How
do you safely protect your family? Let me tell you
about Saber, a family owned business that makes self defense
products for you and your family. In fact, Saber is
the number one made in the USA pepper spray brand,

Speaker 4 (15:45):
The world has gone insane. Reclaim your sanity with Clay
and Fun. Find them on the free iHeartRadio app or
wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Welcome back in. I know where you're gonna talk. Trump
is speaking right now in New York.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
We wore.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Our team is monitoring that to make sure we don't
miss anything there. But I want to let you know,
I just mentioned the Senate, and obviously Trump versus Kamala
is a huge deal. But things are looking very very
good for Republicans in the Senate, and I just kind
of want to refresh for a moment. There West Virginia,
Joe Manchin is leaving. Jim Justice is going to win
(16:22):
that seat, so Republicans are going to pick up a
seat in West Virginia. We want all of you listening
to us in Texas, go vote for Ted Cruz. In Florida,
go vote for Rick Scott. Both of those guys are
looking very good in what Democrats would say are the
most winnable of seats out there. In other words, Ted
Cruz is going to win. Rick Scott is going to win.
(16:43):
So Republicans are in very good shape to preserve all
of their Senate seats. Yesterday we had Bernie Marino on
this show. Ohio, you guys can decide this. But the
poll that just came out from Montana that has Tim
she who was on the show last week, running for
to knock out John Tester. He's up six and he's
(17:04):
up nine in a multi candidate field. Now got to
run through the tape. But Montana has the potential, Ohio, Pennsylvania.
There are a lot of states Wisconsin, out there, Michigan, where, Arizona, Nevada,
where there are Democrats that could lose having to defend
contested seats. But Montana would flip control of the Senate.
(17:27):
And so if you are out there and you're thinking, oh,
my goodness, what would Kamala Harris do, It's important to
have a bulwark to stop her buck from being able
to enact if she were to win a crazy left
wing agenda. And the Senate matters a great deal and
we're actually in really good shape there. I absolutely agree,
(17:49):
And I want to tell you, speaking of absolute agreement,
how about saving some money on your cell phone bill?
Right now? Pure Talk has got an incredible offer for
all of you where you could save up to one
thousand dollars over the life of your deal with them,
And right now, for just twenty five bucks a month,
you can get unlimited talk, text, five gigs of data,
(18:09):
plus a mobile hotspot enough to watch ten hours of
video or stream one thousand songs. My sixteen year old
is on pure Talk. My soon to be he will
turn fourteen. What what's today? Thursday the fifth he'll turn
fourteen and ten days my middle son and he gets
a cell phone. Then fourteen years old, he will be
(18:30):
using a puretalk cell phone so that we can stay
in touch with him. You could make the switch save
your family a bundle, easy to do. You can keep
your same phone and same phone number. If you dial
pound two five zero say Clay and Buck, you'll save
fifty percent off your first month. Again, dial pound two
five zero say Clay and Buck. Start saving now on
(18:51):
your cell phone plan.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
All right, welcome back into Clay and Buck. We've got
Trump by the way, as speaking as we are on
air here about his i'm a policy will bring you
some of those highlights over the course of the next
hour or so. But I can just tell you right now,
I'm seeing that Trump is putting forward a was it
(19:12):
a fifteen percent capital gains fifteen percent I'm sorry, corporate tax,
rather fifteen percent corporate tax for made in America companies,
rather for companies that make stuff in America on that
you know, arm of the company or I don't know
all the details yet, I'm not sure anybody does. But essentially,
Trump wants to incentivize made in America through the tax structure. Meanwhile,
(19:36):
Kamala Harris Clay mentioned, is backing off the more aggressive
capital gains tax elevation that she had talked about before.
One of the problems in trying to nail down the
Harris Walls policies is they change every few days, it seems,
I mean, you know, whatever they believe one moment is
(19:58):
not what they believe the next. So when you say,
hold on a second, here's this crazy idea you support,
then they just have some spokesperson for the campaign go
on MSNBC and say, well, that's not the policy. Well
it was like a day ago or a week ago.
But the whole thing is honestly a scam. I mean,
the whole thing is meant to just make it impossible
(20:20):
for there to be any accountability. Perfect example of this.
By the way, Trump last night was on with our
good friend Sean Hannity on his show on Fox This
is Cut One. He did a town hall and the
fracking flip flop is one of the biggest of all
Kamala flip flops that we've seen. Play one.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
If she won, You're not gonna have any fracking in Pennsylvania.
You have five hundred thousand jobs think of that. It's
your biggest business and you get a big majority of
your income from fracking, and you have somebody that's not
going to allow fracking. She's not going to allow it.
You can't take the chance. You have no choice. You've
got to vote for me. You've got to vote.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Even if you don't like me.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
No, but even if you don't like me, you can
sit there's that can't stand that guy. But there's no
way I'm gonna vote for her now. You have to
have tracket. You know, you're the biggest in the country
to this. You have two of the biggest sites in
the world. It's a massive business for Pennsylvania, and you
can't take a chance.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Clay, this is very straightforward. Trump is letting as reminding
everybody that Kamala is a California communist and whatever she
says now would not be how she governs, especially in
the energy sector.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
I also think this is indicative of Trump finding his
rhythm against Kamala. Harris, there was a period of time. Look,
Trump really doesn't like Joe Biden. I think you talked
about It's true. Vivak and Nicky Hayley genuinely dislike each other.
That's why there was such sizl Telepoliticians kind of throw
(21:58):
punches at each other, but you can tell that behind
the scenes they get along. Trump really doesn't like Joe Biden.
I think he thinks he is a really bad, dumb,
awful dirt Yes, oh yeah, Joe Biden is a dirtbag.
And so Trump wanted, I believe, revenge against Joe Biden.
He wanted to beat him. He wanted vindication for what
(22:20):
he sees as a rigged, stolen election in twenty twenty.
And I think he was all ginned up and excited
for the battle against Biden. And then when Kamala Harris
suddenly got elevated, I think that he was surprised at
how quickly that happened, and he didn't have the best
possible footing against her. I think fairly, for a couple
(22:43):
of weeks he kind of floundered. He attacked her in
different ways, and now he seems to have found his
form and he's hammering her on the economy, border crime,
and honestly, buck Pennsylvania is so big that it's almost
like instead of a presidential candidacy where you have all
fifty states and everything else going on, We basically are
(23:06):
running to see who should be the governor of Pennsylvania.
Because if Trump wins Pennsylvania, and I think he is
going to win Pennsylvania, there is virtually no pathway for
Kamala Harris to actually end up winning this election. And
so him hitting her specifically on fracking yesterday with Sean
Hannity in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Remember the debate is taking place
(23:28):
in Philadelphia, even though there's no crowd. President, they finally
agreed to all the details there. You essentially are going
to have a race I think over the next sixty
days that comes down to Pennsylvania because Trump's gonna win
North Carolina, He's gonna win Georgia, and then if he
wins Pennsylvania, he's president of the United States. It'd be
great to add on Nevada, great to add on Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin,
(23:51):
other states that are out there that are in play,
all super important. We want all of you to go vote,
we want you to vote early. But to me, Pennsylvania
it is the race, and Trump is starting to really
find his footing there and hammer her on the fracking
issue in particular, and I think there's panic setting in
(24:12):
inside of the Democrat Party over Kamala Harris not connecting
with my big ten voters and normal football fans in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I think that the I've always believed that Kamala Harris
plays best as a politician with or like the core
of her support. I've joked around that it's the green
room at CNN or the executive suite at CNN, but
it really is much more with Kamala than that. I
can think of really any other politician on the Democrat
(24:43):
side who's been elevated to that level. That she has
no popular support with the base, but has elite support
on the coasts and in some of and in the
big cities from the Democrat apparatus. Right, So she is
very much an instrument of the machine and not somebody
who has any personal loyalty. I think why that matters
(25:03):
is who is she going to draw more from in Pennsylvania? Yes,
how is she going to be an effective spokesperson for
you know, the Democrat Party? Given the demographic realities of
that state. The Latino vote isn't really going to matter
very much in Pennsylvania. I mean, it always matters in
every state. But you know what I mean, that's not
(25:25):
going to be determinative. Yeah, I think she'll do reasonably well.
Here's a prediction for you. I don't I think she
will do less well than Joe Biden did with the
overall black vote in Pennsylvania. I actually believe that. I
think that Joe Biden will outperform her with the black
vote on turnout. I mean, the percentages will be pretty
(25:46):
much the same, but on turnout, I think she may
be down a little bit. And then it turns us
back to Okay, well, who's up for grabs. You know,
basically white guys who didn't go to college, who make
you know, thirty to one hundred k something like that.
That's who's up for grabs. And that's who's going to
determine Pennsylvania. That's just going to determine the presidency.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
NFL comes back today, Buck, And the analogy that I
made that I think is starting to come to fruition
is when your team stinks and your starting quarterback gets benched,
the fans are super excited for the backup to come in.
There is a sugar high when the backup quarterback comes
in and completes a couple of passes, goes down gets
(26:29):
a touchdown most of the time. There is a reason, though,
that the backup quarterback wasn't starting, and that backup quarterback
starts to make mistakes and you look around and you're like, man,
our team just stinks. I think there is starting to
be a realization in the Democrat Party, Okay, Joe Biden
(26:50):
wasn't the answer. Okay, you benched Joe Biden. Hey we're
going to be great. It's the brat summer. Look how
amazing Kamala Harris is. Oh look, there's oprah Man. Man,
we're gonna have Beyonce like all this stuff. And then
Kamala Harris has been out now and suddenly Democrats are saying, oh, yeah,
(27:12):
she was the least popular vice president in the history
of our country for a reason. There's a reason she
wasn't the nominee, and that realization is starting to settle
in the backup quarterback usually is the backup because he's
not as good as the starter. I think you're right
that they're going to ultimately look back and say we
should have just tried to force through Joe Biden because
(27:36):
he would have still had some appeal in the Midwest.
Grant and Joe still worked.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Yeah. I think, by the way, when you see what
it's really gonna come down to in this election, in
the final stretch, I still think that Joe Biden is
a more effective brand for those voters. Maybe not you know, nationally,
and maybe not on TV, but you know, I really
do believe that that's going to come forward. And you
know one other part of this, Clay, We've got the
(28:01):
first debate is Monday, Tuesday next week, Tuesday, I should
know it, Tuesday, thank you. First debate is Tuesday of
next week.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
And maybe only maybe only buck, I mean that we
get more than one. I think it probably Well, what
do you do you think it's going to be the
only I think it will Actually I think it's going
to be the only debate.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Uh in so far? Well, hold on.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
So, I think if Kamala does poorly, they're leaving open
the opportunity to try to call Trump a chicken and
demand a second debate. If she does well, I think
they will try and say, hey, we don't need to
do this anymore.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
I would I would co sign that analysis. I think
that's correct. They're certain they're leaving open all options for
a reason, right, They don't want to commit to all
the debates because they want to see how they do
with the first debate. And I also believe that if
Kamala Harris was way out ahead, I'm not sure she
would I'm not sure she would debate him if she had,
if she had jumped out to the Remember there was
(28:57):
that moment, Oh my gosh, she's ahead in all the
swing states. Actually now she's tied with Trump and basically
all the swing states. And when you look at the
margin ne VERA and pass polling over sampling, Trump is ahead.
Is what's going on right now? They know they have
to have her show up or else the implosion is
going to happen faster of that campaign. Also, remember, the
(29:18):
campaigns have far more sophisticated polling than the public polls
that we see. So while we may be reacting to
CNN or the New York Times or CBS or any
of those other entities, the campaigns themselves have spent tens
of millions of dollars on polling. They have rolling really
sophisticated data inside of their campaigns. And those are the
(29:42):
ones that I think the Kamala Harris team is looking
at and saying, uh, Oh, we've got to reverse this momentum.
And I think that's why Trump is starting to He's
found this footing.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
He's delivering the right attacks on Kamala, and everybody knows Trump.
They still don't really know com And again, the more
time you spend getting to know Kamala, the less you
like her.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Yeah, that's true. Even Democrats knew that. That's the problem.
It's not like we think this. They knew it back
in twenty twenty. So just look, just look at the results.
You know, it's an understatement to say that living in
Israel is incredibly hard. Right now. Emotions are running high,
and there are constant threats of hostilities on the horizon,
(30:26):
and the fear of the next incoming missile attack is palpable.
As a precaution, many Israeli residents take to bomb shelters
when alarms are sounding. We're actually going to be talking
with somebody on the ground over there. He's in Israel
right now, in the third hour of the program today,
a friend of mine who is twenty five years in
special operations and is an ally of the Jewish and
(30:49):
Israeli people. He's over there right now. We're gonna be
talking with him. I'll tell you about what's going on,
but day to day it's rough. People like you can
also stand with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews,
the IFCJ, which is helping our friends in Israel right
now with food and medicine for bomb shelters. That's right,
(31:10):
there are bomb shelters that have to be always ready
to go because as Belahamas, any number of terrorist entities
can start lobbing missiles and mortars into civilian territory, killing men,
women and children at random. But those bomb shelters can
result in people staying for hours, perhaps days at a time.
Where does the food and water and medicine come from
in the shelters? IFCJ is providing a lot of it
(31:32):
For more than forty years, the IFCJ has been on
the ground in Israel. Support Israel through the International Fellowship
of Christians and Jews. Please go right now, donate what
you can visit SUPPORTIFCJ dot org. That's support IFCJ dot org.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
And they do a lot of it with the Sunday
Hang Join Clay and Buck as they laugh it up.
The Clay and Buck podcast feed on the iHeartRadio app
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us. We have got a
deluge of different a variety of different topics from you
guys rolling in. This ties in with drinking Crockett Coffee,
the coffee that every American should be drinking if you
love America, if you love American history. We named our
(32:25):
coffee after Davy Crockett, American original Roland, one of our
VIPs and Clay and Bucks says Clay, can you give
a shout out? Do you remember we had the conversation
about this buck? I'd forgotten. The fifty fourth Annual Musket
Bowl is going on this weekend between do you remember
who plays Daniel Boone and David Crockett high schools in
(32:49):
Washington County, Tennessee. The winner takes home the musket. So
that is a super cool tradition. I remember we had
somebody write in and talk about that. So high school
football action underway for many of you all over the country,
and the Daniel Boone David Crockett high School battle in
(33:10):
Washington County, Tennessee. The musket up for grabs between those
two great American explorers. Go get your Crocket coffee. If
you love America, Crocketcoffee dot com, go subscribe. I saw
this buck. We were talking about a little bit off air.
Connor McGregor UFC fighter extraordinaire. Many of you Connor McGregor fans,
(33:33):
or you have watched him fight. He has announced that
he is running for the presidency of Ireland. I don't
know how much money Connor McGregor has now. I know
he started a whiskey that has just blown up. But
can did you expect when you had watched Connor McGregor
fight before the UFC, Hey, this guy's gonna end up
(33:54):
running for president of Ireland. Do you have any sense
for how popular he? I know he's wildly pop in Ireland.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Could he win? I think he'd be a mighty fine president.
I think you do a great job over there, and
Ireland needs help. Man Ireland, And it's one of these things,
apparently the Irish. You know, we had someone from the
UK just right in as one of our VIP so
we got UK listeners, but you know, Ireland we got some.
I'm I'm mostly Irish by by background. I think by
(34:21):
you are too right. I mean we're basically both Scott's.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
I'm almost yeah British like all the you know I was.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
I was a little fancy.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
I was kind of also a little bit of the
Northern France component, a little disappointed when I did my
DNA analysis. I was hoping for some exciting, unexpected outcomes
and it was like, no, pretty much all of your
background is from Ireland.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
And UH and England and UH and in northern France.
But Ireland a great country that's produced so much, so
many amazing expats, and such a big role in in America. Unfortunately,
it's like the Cuba of of western Europe. I mean,
even by European standards, it's very left wing. So I
(35:05):
think it would be great if you could get somebody
with a little dose of sanity over there, it'd be fantastic.
I mean, Connor McGregor might be a total maniac. I
don't really know much about him than he's a fighter,
and he's pretty, he's pretty entertaining. He's got a lot
of tattoos. That's all that I know. But I do
know that he's talking about helping the family, helping the
working man, get the hands of the state out of
(35:25):
his pocket and you know, intact families things like that. Yeah,
that sound that sounds good to me. Communism is not
the answer, which unfortunately is what Europe is going to
find out sooner than later.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Yeah, and this is a big deal. It's not even
just communist it's the unrestrained immigration that they have allowed
to take place in much of Europe. We have at
least the concept of a melting pot here where over
time we have taken so many people from so many
different backgrounds that there is an element to being able
to handle more immigration here than other countries. But when
(35:58):
you look at what's going on in Italy, when you
look at what's going on in Germany and France and
England and in Ireland, there is a great uprising of
people saying, wait a minute, we are bringing in a
lot of people that do not embrace the culture that
this country has existed and been founded on for hundreds
or thousands of years. And I think Connor McGregor is
(36:20):
a representative sample of that. He is fired up. I
don't know how big of a supported base he has
in Ireland, but I know that people travel like crazy
to watch him fight. I would think that he is
a very viable candidate in the political atmosphere of Ireland.
So we'll see what happens there and we come back.
We didn't talk a lot about this buck, but remember
(36:42):
our good friend Fanny Willis, her daughter got in some
trouble and our good buddy Nathan Wade also made an appearance.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
Fannie Clay, Fannie
