radio me in there. Like I'm getting in my car
in the morning. I got a long drive ahead of me.
It's a cold outside. I'm waiting for I'm waiting for
the heat to turn on a little bit because I
didn't proactively think I need to turn on my car
before I get in the car. I'm just gonna go
(03:18):
turn on my car. And now I'm hoping to god
they see us a little bit faster.

saving you from getting into a car accident. This view's beautiful.
Tuesday morning. Boys. Hell, we had a hell of a
football weekend. We did the whole entire recap if you're
(03:47):
looking for that. That's we have a college recap and
an NFL recap. I can't remember which one came first,
but they're all there on the YouTube now so it
doesn't really matter when they came out. But we had
a hell of a weekend. A hell of a weekend.
Just it from from dudes being dudes, ripping around Jackson
living in sorrow in November. That's okay, his things givings
right around the corner. Will Compton hit himself a little
(04:08):
date night. I'm sure he got himself a little something
extra on their own thing then too, because if date
nights aren't free, those things aren't free. Brothers Free and
myself Saturday afternoon I was at David Buster's not just
with one, not two, but with five children, rock and solo,
and I'll be honest, I crushed it. Key is to
this whole thing. Have more fun than them. How was
(04:30):
the weekend?
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Will good? Little weekend? We had a nice November Gellett event.
On Friday night we got to do pizza Friday. They're
watching Peter Pan the live version not very good, not
a very good movie. Would not recommend to anybody. Okay, okay,
we gotta see it to know.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Not hook.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Maybe it's Hook, the Peter Pan that.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
With David Hoffman, who's like Hook. If you're saying that's
a bad movie.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Let's let them let's find out if this.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
Is got figure that out, because that's that's.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
You look at. The live action in the movie I
watched was not very good. I thought it was Peter Pan.
I was driving and getting pizza and Charles like, do
you want to do the old version of Peter Pan
or the one that came out in the twenty twenties. Oh
oh oh, he's talking about I think it's called Pan.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Okay, there there are a bunch.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
Of lives trying to you saw this one saw this incredible.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
It's not pan. Is it that one? Is it that one?
Let me see who the main actor.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Is for Peter?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Is that him? No? Okay, not that one. How many
pans are there, dude, Bootlege, It wouldn't be subtitle? Was
it that? It wasn't that okay, no, no, no, no, no,
it's not that one. Yeah, fun fact. I haven't seen
That's fine.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Continue, it doesn't matter which one will saw.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Went to Hanks coffee shop. Saturday morning, I went to
the farmers market, had a little good time at the house,
and then took the wife. We went on a little
date night for dinner at Abba Abok. I liked it.
I loved it. I thought it was a fire spot
the gout like Christmas trees and stuff hanging up everywhere.
You have no clue where you are. The food was
very good, the service was very good. We had a
(06:15):
great time. Then we went to see an indie film
over in Is it Belmont Bellevue? Probably yeah, I think, yeah, garbage.
It was called The Mastermind, about like a heist in
a museum, and I'm like, all right, I'll give this shot.
(06:36):
Charlie didn't want to go see Predator, which really chapped.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
My ass treasure.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Oh brout. The movie was not good. Okay, so she
apparently there's a there's a there's an audience for indie
films that like go to the festivals and stuff like that.
They're more about it for the art instead of sundance.
They're more about it for the art instead of the box.
But this this was as bad as it gets. A
(07:04):
couple of giggles, like a couple like good lines for
some last but overall I had no clue what I
was watching. I wanted to leave within twenty minutes. I sat.
I tried to invest myself in the entire movie. I
did invest myself into the entire movie, but just a
brutal movie top to bottom, is it? Yes, that's it
right there mass a couple of things, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (07:29):
The critic score.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
I feel like those are the very indie films where
it's a high audience I mean high critic score, low
audience score. I'm with you, like I appreciate good movies,
good art, but if the audience score is so low
and the critic is so high, it feels like it's
always going to be a shnobby film.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
The only thing that matters is the viewers the people
viewers rating this this whole like you were talking about
it like you go to a movie. People aren't really
about the movie to more about the art. That is
so dumb to me, Like you can have a fun
self expressive if I want to tell my side of
the story in this very unique way, but it's gotta
be good.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I can't. You can't. Fucking you can't do that, man,
you can't. The Bellcourt was like my first red flag.
But I you know, I'm embracing and I walked in.
I was gonna give a little combo here. They did
sell Raisin that, so I was fired up about that,
but walked in. You know, you're kind of crammed in
this forty forty person. Apparently Belcourt was built back in
like the nineteen twenties, which is that when I'm sitting
(08:27):
down a little uncomfortable sitting down, I'm kind of doing
one of these to where out like my arm is
around Charo the entire time, and I'm watching this thing
and it's gonna be some heist at a museum, Like Okay,
you know what, didn't get to watch Predator, So let
me watch this heist at a museum.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Maybe you'll culture yourself up a little bit and be like, hey, boys,
you gotta go see this movie.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
It's like the nineteen seventies. It very much felt like
you were in the seventies watching a film that just
released in the seventies. So we're watching this heist. This
is just a local at a local museum that just
took a couple of paintings, like put stuff them in
like pillowcases. And he's like, hey, boys, this is what
we're gonna do. Like he doesn't have a job, he's
a shit husband and father. He's not around. He wakes
(09:07):
up late. His wife, she's the worker and grinder, and
takes the kids to school and he's just sitting around
like they go to dinner with the family, and he's
just listening to his dad make comments, you know about hey,
he did all your buddy did all this, Like why
couldn't you do anything? And he's like, this is where
I'm gonna get my lick. I'm gonna steal some paintings
at a museum. He steals these paintings with a couple
of his boys, who one pulled out a gun and
(09:29):
that made the girl made the girl like hide on.
But there's there's no intensity going on, Like it's just
like the camera set up and you hear the quiet
and the silence, and she's he's like, get on the floor,
and she's just like laying on the floor. And these
scenes are brutal. And so he steals these paintings, and
I'm like, all right, I wonder what his come up's
gonna be. Here he's he's sitting down with his mom, Hey, mom,
(09:50):
can I brow some money? Like I'm working for this architecture.
Are this architect I'm gonna get you this money back.
I'm thinking he's going to do some high level shit
right now. He steals the paintings and he's just just
looking at him in his living room, and I'm like,
is he gonna sell him? Like? What is he gonna
go to the black market? He just looks at the paintings.
Then he goes and hides him out at a farm, and
I think he was just gonna keep the paintings. And
(10:11):
then there's this there's like, hey, if you bring this
guy in, he makes the local paper. You bring him in,
We're gonna get two thousand dollars in reward. I'm thinking
that this couldn't have been what he thought ye taking
these paintings. He gets detectives in his house. Within a
day or two, his wife and kids leave him. He
takes the paintings like he gets caught by like some mob,
like they stuff him in a car, but very no intensity,
(10:34):
like no like peak vibe of the movie. Then he
goes tries some freeloads around like, gets caught, takes the paintings.
Detective kind of catches him. They haven't arrested him yet.
There's a worn out for his arrest. The mob or
this other group from his buddy that went with him.
They take the paintings from him. They basically force him
to go drive to the farm and show where the
paintings are. He willingly does it, and he's just kind
of sitting there like what was that really attached to
(10:56):
these paintings? No, And he's like, what am I gonna
do next? He goes to his buddies and he's days
overnight with them. They drink a lot of beer and
the wife sets them down the next day and she's like,
I can't have you in this house anymore, Like you
gotta stop talking to my husband. So he leaves there
and catches a train tries to muster up eleven bucks
and change to go to the next spot. Goes to
the next spot. He's at his all time low and
(11:16):
he's trying to figure out what he's gonna do, and
he just takes a purse from a lady so he
can take her money and go buy a ticket to
the train. Goes into this march of some political march,
and this guy's like, hey, here, you drop the purse
because he took the money out. He's like, all right,
I got my cash and I'm gonna get out of here,
and the guy behind him like, he throws the purse down.
The guy picks up, he's like, hey, you forgot this purse,
and he hands it to him. He's like thanks, gets
(11:37):
beat over the head with a night stick. They throw
him in the back of a of like a cop
car and drive him off because he's part of this march,
and then the film ends, Oh dude, yeah, and it
just says Finn at the Finn and apparently an indie films,
you're supposed to sit and watch all the credits and
everything else out there. Oh, hey, let's get out. Probably, Hey,
(11:59):
come on, we're walking, and you know, I like, look
over at it. She's grinning, She's like, what do you
think of the film? And I was like, you didn't
want to go to Predator for this? Good on charl
for trying something new. But now we know she loved us.
She knew it wasn't a good movie. She's just she's
more of like the whole art aspect indie film. She's
(12:22):
trying to explain to me, like why it's important to
the audience that still continue to sit there and watch
the credits at the end, And I'm like, I don't. Yeah,
that's that's that was bullshit. Anybody that tells me all
this film made it to a film festival right now,
that holds zero credit in my eyes. You don't believe
in sun Dance anymore. Believe they don't want to appease
the box French.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Film festivals to happen anymore.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
You're out on that.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Here's the thing, dude, you deserve a lot of credit
because I know you're a big Predator fan. You also
deserve a lot of credit because I feel like a
common movie watcher we'll see a movie halfway through, decide
the movie's ass and leave. I think that is a
big no no. You should all sit and watch the
movie and this when you're telling your story, I'm falling asleep,
(13:05):
Like it sounds like nothing's really happening this entire movie.
There's things happening, but it's like not at the excitement
level that we're all hoping it can be at. So
credit you for sitting through that, not staying for the credits.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Can you can? I tell you where some more credit
will probably be thrown my way. Go ahead.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Hey, love has sworn up, so I can dunk on
them for you.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
So since we're watching this movie, you know this is
part of the first half of the Husker game. Huskers
at UCLA stop you right there? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yeah, that is now. I Charles a great wife to you.
She's a great person. Someone needs to have a sit
down conversation with her when it comes to the fall
and when the Huskers play. Because if we sit in
this bus and we all know will confident. What's he
wanted to do on Saturdays when the Huskers are aren't
on a bye week. He wants to watch the game.
There's this situation. And then there was your birthday last year. Yeah,
(13:55):
so I don't know if I'm not the guy to
have that conversation, and I know, I'm sure you're not
the guy, but maybe there needs to be some sort
of inception that takes takes place with Charlie this offseason
where it's like Saturdays, Huskers Saturday, like you.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Ring a bell every time Huskers, like you ring a
bell and give her a piece of candy. Yeah, you know, exception, inception, exception.
I'd love to be putting bullets in her chest about this,
but this one was on me. This one. I brought
it up, like you let me talk about like that
the whole time. Yeah, I was gonna I was gonna
cut in there at some point, should just kept it going.
And I'm sitting there thinking like we were going over.
(14:31):
I was like, oh my god. I was like the
Huskers kick off at eight, like we're gonna be in
the movie and she's like, oh no, and I'm like
that's all right, I'll be able to because this is
a movie since we're not going to Predator. I was
just letting her know, like I'm going to be tapped
in on YouTube TV with the Husker game, and she
was completely fine with it. However, in this indie film stuff,
do we talk about this Niche audience. I'm checking the
(14:55):
Husker game and some lady No lady leans over and
I'm like, like, have my jacket by the screen on
as low as possible because i know we're kind of
cramped in. I'm not trying to. I know that's a
vibe like don't have your phone out and everything else. Hey,
the light off of you. But it wasn't that much
of a light. And she caught it one time because
I just adjusted like this in my seat. She's like,
excuse me, sir, that that that light is really bothering me,
(15:17):
can you not? And I was like, oh, I'm sorry, yeah,
and I closed I closed the phone so I don't
get to keep up with the Huskers go to the bathroom.
I folded like a lawn chair like she.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
I think that's honorable for that lady who probably really
like carved out some time to be at the Bell
Court even though all of us probably hate it.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
That's big of you. I respect that well.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
You should have done at the end of the movie though,
Was it worth it? Yeah, I'll tell you what that
it like. I sat there and I was enraged for
the rest of the movie, and I like watched the
rest of the movie, but I hate the movie was
actually good and was just I was so angry that
if she brought it up again, I already had another
story in my head to kind of like go back
(16:02):
and it like, hey, we're first time parents and our
kids are We're away from our child for the very
first time. I was just checking on. We were just checking.
That's how enraged I was getting checked. Yeah, when I
was like, you know, I very I was very key.
But that didn't happen. I did, Like she's was sitting
(16:23):
and watching. I had to kind of like go by
her and I'm like, you know, as big as I
possibly can, like trying to like nudge your knees a
little bit, like yeah, yeah, yeah, but yeah, I didn't
get to catch like the first it was almost half
time when I started tune back into that, damn.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
And it sounds like Latif had a hell of a game.
I've only been in that situation one time. And I
did say something and it wasn't me. I went and
saw it was me and my mom, my dad, my brother,
was a little family. We're gonna, hey, we're gonna go
watch a movie. We watched forty two Jackie Robinson movie
and there's a lady. It's like a relatively relatively packed
film or a theater, and there's a lady seeing behind me.
(16:59):
What this is a care before Karens were Karens that everybody,
every fucking every like white guy being mean to black guy.
Thing that happened. The lady in behind me is like,
oh my god. Oh and then like they n word.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Or something like that.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
You're like, I cannot believe they would say that, Like, hey,
the movie's taking place at the time when he's breaking
through barriers right like he's breaking through he's the first
black guy to do it. It's roughly feathers of white people.
That's the story. And I think the fourth time, I
don't even remember how old I am, bro, but I'm
(17:35):
sitting there and by the fourth or fifth time, she's like,
I can't believe they treated him like that.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I look back, I go, hey, we get it.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
I look like, oh, we understand. This is not good,
but like, this is what the movie is all about.
Can we just And I sat back there, dude, and
my dad leans over to me, goes nice, we got
of fist bumped, And I was like, I think that
was like my when I became a man like that.
I stood up to a Karen right there. It's like, hey, sweetheart, honey,
we get it. Like that was bad that people said
(18:04):
and did those things. However, the movies how he overcame
those things, so we got to see the bad to end.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Up at the good.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
We can't just be like, black guy plays baseball, home run,
home run, home run, guys a gangster.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
And everyone and everyone.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Was like this black guy, we should look the rest
of the black.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Guys in here.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
It's like, no, you got like, oh shit, we had
no idea black guys were good at sports. Like no, bro,
you guys show the white guys being mean the black
guy first. So it's like, look how much the trials
and tribulation that he had to get through, and it's like,
imagine how bad the guys that weren't so good at
the sports were. You know how they treated that guy
so anyway.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
And just don't give us color commentary on the movie. Bro.
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Yeah, it's like she didn't know how the story ends.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
I'll see you when when's been she's been hitting that
little like a scene comes on, like we we've watched
Harry Potter now seven times and uh Natalie, her kids
came over, so that there's five kids. They sleep over.
On Friday, we put on the Harry Potter movie. After
we get back from the Gellette thing. I'm juiced up
because I come home, like every Thursday, I come home
Natalie and all the kids are there, and it's like
(19:08):
it's awesome to.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Have a house. It's just like full of kids.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
But we're watching Harry Potter and like you know, the
sorting hat comes out. They go to this stand in
front of the storting hat when it's like he's gonna
go in the Gryffindor and what's his name is gonna
go to the Slytherin, And I'm thinking I kind of
pulled it to the side of the movie, was like
I can't do that, Like that is that you gotta
you gotta tell your kids, like listen, there are certain
kinds of people and if you go down this route,
(19:33):
you're not gonna be the kind of person that people
want to watch a movie with. Like if you've seen it,
let them enjoy the experience.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
So we had it.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
We had a good combo that night because I can't
have old Jackie Robinson because when Rebel become the Jackie
Robinson girl can't have it.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
We get it. It's bad. We didn't want that. So
good on you man. Yeah yeah, it was uh because
the initial day night was playing for Friday, but that
once we started to commit to the Gillette thing, we
kind of had to get some moving pieces, so kind
of like an urgent moving and then I realized on Saturday,
oh shit, I booked this like while the Huskers play,
but to go to Abba Abba whatever. I think it's
(20:09):
a great spot. I went.
Speaker 7 (20:11):
The food was definitely super high quality. Wasn't pleased with
some of the portions, but like I saw you got
the kabab. That's kind of crazy.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
I didn't get the kebab.
Speaker 7 (20:21):
I thought it was on that.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I got the chicken thies and they should The lady
was like, you should mix this, uh, this chicken thied
dish with She's like, I'll throw in some rice where
She's like, it's awesome mixed in with the juice and
the sauce. Charlo got the kebabs because she was asking
Charles like, I'm not like insanely hungry, and she was
looking to do neither of the beef or something else.
She was like, get the lamb and beef kebab mixed
(20:43):
if you're wanting a lighter meal.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
The fish is incredible.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
See I'm not just not a fish guy, but yeah
that hurts. She was like, should I get the salmon, like, dude,
salmon sucks.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
Oh no, I wasn't salmon ard. I forget what it was,
but it was awesome.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah, Abba solid it was coming. A good spot was great.
Speaker 7 (21:00):
It reminds me of like it would be like in
La or Miami type thing.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I'm hung up with this fish thing for a second.
Hold on halibit, you get like a crusted halibit. That
shit hits. Yeah, salmon, I'm kind of with you. Sam
is just like anyone can do it.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
I like it all.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
See, dude, it's me and the landlocked states. I have
a harder time sushi for whatever reason. Raw, I don't
know why, but my brain's like, you can handle this.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
But yeah, I love I'll lead a good sea bass
yeah Chilean. Yeah, some sea bass.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
I don't even know what to fill the fishes. I
love to say it though. We had a rose spicy
tear talk Best date night spots, Best date night spots?
Where would you put abba in Nashville date night spots.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Probably not in the top three. Oh wow, so we
liked it, didn't love it.
Speaker 7 (21:55):
Yeah, on the twenties it would be a good it
would be like top top ten.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Yeah, it's a good spot. Like we love trying different spots.
I mean, it's hard to beat getting up top and
having a great view at Bourbon.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Something about the appy with the fries and the three
different sauces, Like you gotta have good appy's on a
date night.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Yeah, there's spots that I'm just not thinking about. I
suck with names, so I just not remember there's a
Mexican spot over twelve South or twelve South we'd like
to go to. No, not Locusts.
Speaker 5 (22:28):
Nashville officially got their first one star Michelin restaurants.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
They got three of them to pass. It's Locus bashing
and the cappird Seed.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
So cuppard seed sucks.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
All right, there you go.
Speaker 7 (22:40):
Micheland one stars are like indie films.
Speaker 8 (22:41):
Bro.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, that's a great that's a good take. Hate Capper Snow.
Speaker 7 (22:47):
I have the way you said it. I already I
don't even have to see the menu. I'm like, he's
right right.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
You can be paying a lot of money and that
you talk about portions, that's a spot that takes themselves
so goddamn serious on creativity. You just get like little tastings.
It's twelve courses, but it ain't. You barely get in
a full course.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Bro, what was the place we went to in Germantown
that one time? It was like you me, Taylor Charro, like,
there's a handful of other people and it like the
chef would come out and explain the story of the dish.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Do you remember that Bobo was there? Yes, I forget
what it was like.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Tailored or something like that. No, No, they're a bacon
wrap quail fire. No, this is a spot that's like
one of the brick old spots in Germantown. They it's
like a little tucked away We all went there. It's
supposed to be this like I'm pretty sure Boba put
us on it too. It's definitely a Bobo spot. And
we get there and this like chef comes out, introduces
(23:40):
himself to the entire place. It commands the stage, tells
a story about how he grew up, and that is
the first dish you're going to get.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Ass. Here's here's here's why he got a vibe. We
were on some vitamins going in there. So when they're
talking long wind about these I'm like, for the love
of God, I need of course and.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Bro he so he brings out a bunch of dishes.
One of the dishes was the steak, and we looked
at each other like steak kind of ass like the
steak was like our least favorite thing this dude. The
chef comes around and goes, hey, I know my big
Titans players need some more food. So I brought you,
guess some extra steak. Brings a whole mound to steak,
and it was like the one thing where like.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I really don't want that.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
Yeah, dude, I have a theory that cookout and some
of these fast food chains are in bed with these
types of restaurants, because the first thing on my mind
when I'm at one of those restaurants is where am
I gonna eat after this? I gotta go pick up something. Yeah,
and you always end up at one of those fast
food chains.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Hey, best date night spot though, Tier one home.
Speaker 7 (24:44):
Keep it home what you're making?
Speaker 1 (24:46):
You know me, I'm.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Making whatever Jason's making. Make it ay, keep.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
It in house.
Speaker 7 (24:51):
What are you choosing Jason to make for your date night.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
And how you going about Because I'll be honest when
you say home unless it's you're unless it's like you're
in a relationship and your girls coming over. If you're
at home with the wife and you're like, Hey, we're
gonna do date night at home tonight, like to me,
it would be all on the guy to put set
up an experience, not like I got the chef. We got. Hey,
we're gonna do date night at the house night, seven o'clock.
(25:16):
Jason's gonna have something on the table the house. You
go get in the closet real quick, put on something nice.
I won't sit down with the hope. Yeah, something like
a nice soup or something, especially this time of the year.
Whather's breaking.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Get a little colder, little soup, little chicken on the side,
something like that, somemall little like me, little rice fixtures,
a little design around it. Jason crushes that.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
You getting dressed up for.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Our date night as dressed up as I get on
a daily basis.
Speaker 7 (25:41):
Yeah, all black on this is me.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah, all black. I'm actually dressed up today. I weren't gray. Yeah.
I like that.
Speaker 7 (25:47):
It's number one home.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Number one Home. Number one home is for me. Tier two.
I like Bourbon. I like that. I like to take
on bourbon. Tier three. I'll throw the sushi spot Noko.
Speaker 7 (26:00):
They say Noko oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Noko oh, that's the corner on the east. Honestly, two
ten jack for whatever reason, I ten and I probably
go in like four days a year and two ten
jack in the fall.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
It's just a staple, warm belly up to the bar,
tap us. I love that. I love it. U My
Tier three, I would say something fun, like like an
escape room, like to where you're kind of doing something
like a game together. A Tier two I would say,
(26:34):
like you're going to have dinner, but like on the side,
you're like almost at a workshop, you're like making something
along with like whatever the courses are, like ceramics. Yeah,
like you might be painting something. You might be what
do we do that one year? What do we do
that one year? Like what did we make? We were
having cocktails. We either made like a candle that sounds
(26:56):
I mean that sounds gay, but it was a fun time.
We like made can't building something to get some essential
oils in it and call it a day, Right, Yeah,
you're like you're like building something together, you're doing something
like as a couple, to where you're like creating something.
I would say my tier one is a staycation. Doing
a staycation to where you go out, you get dinner,
you can either stay in the hotel, watch a movie.
(27:17):
We're out, you know, for my birthday, we were out
and like we're having cocktails after, we're having a good time.
To where you're just you're being boyfriend and girlfriend again,
and you know you have the hotel room, you're sleeping,
you don't have the kids with you, So that would
be I would say staycation would be my tier one.
That's nice. You love that. South Hall? Yeah, South Hall
has been a good vibee. We've done a state We've
done like family staycations there and one where it's just
(27:39):
like charing myself. But like just getting out of the house,
like doing you know, home to me is hilarious. Home
is awesome to me. It's like just getting out of
the home vibe of being like dad or being husband
and it's like let's go be some young ThunderCats again.
I don't know, just in it. Yeah, sometimes you just
having some fun, just having some fun, get out there. Yeah,
(28:03):
but something about home.
Speaker 7 (28:03):
Man, State Fair, Amusement Park, water Park, the Big Three,
the Big.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Do we want to announce our true classic gooder of the.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Month, dude, Let's announce our true classic gooder of the month.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
Give run a bus for Derek Baby not only one
gooder of the month, but ran away with it.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
How do we feel?
Speaker 9 (28:28):
Terrific? I did not know I ran away with it.
I was told it was very close in my own head,
and so very excited.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Ran away with it. The tagline with true classic look good,
feel good, play good. You make us look good, you
make us feel good anym we're out there. You're executing
your ass off. You crushed this past month. Thank you so,
our our gooner, our gooner of the month, Derek, tell us.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
A little bit about yourself there, Ben, Oh hey, ill
on inside the bus. You've done a great job obviously
behind the cameras, but your appearance on inside the bus
with the top ten beers phenomenal.
Speaker 9 (29:01):
I've been holding that in the chamber since twenty eighteen.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Yeah, and it seemed like he did.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
You did it, worked it in front of the mirror
like you were You knew exactly where you're going with
every single.
Speaker 9 (29:09):
Sentence everything and some of these great podcast terrifically great host. Yeah,
great host made you feel comfortable, hospitable if you could
a little bit about me, know just Pittsburgh, Warn and
Rays have been here for about what two months now,
I guess official on for the dad shout up for
the dads. Uh moved to Nashville like five years ago
and and the happiest I've ever been.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
I love you guys. This is awesome.
Speaker 9 (29:29):
I do like indie films. That sucks to say out loud,
so fuck.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
I knowing that you had the beer rankings less than
everything else, I would see you being an indie film.
I got like a balance. You should be a guy
that appreciates what goes into it takes time. I don't know,
I don't know. I need I need something like they
had we had up Transformers, Like, give me some transformers.
I need somebody. I wanted to see Predator. I mean, yeah,
you give me give me a Michael Bayfiel.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
Yeah, what is it about Indian Indian indie films?
Speaker 9 (29:58):
Indian in the Cupboard is a great movie too, like
the work that goes into it, Like I can appreciate
all of the shit that goes into it, no matter
how bad it is. Like, I always try to find
an appreciation for shit like that because even like a
bad song or about it, I'm like, you know, somebody
put a lot of time to this. It was worthless time,
but they put a lot of time into it, and
so I try my ass off.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
To like it.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Looking back at your ten beers or your top ten beers,
are there any that you thought, Man, I forgot to
put this one. I should have put this one in there.
Speaker 7 (30:25):
No, I forgot.
Speaker 9 (30:26):
There's some that I have gotten since I wrote that
blog and like twenty twenty or whatever it is, and
I had a lot of people commenting. But like the
tough part about that is there's situational beers and then
there's people who are like, dude, you forgot the beach beer.
And I'm like, the beach beer is not a beer.
You're just drinking a beer on the beach, like it
has to be like a thing. That's a part of it.
Some people did say like this ski slope Lodge beer,
and I was like, that's a decent one because you're
(30:46):
getting back, you take all your clothes off. It's, you know,
a nice little beer in a hot tub or something.
But now I stand ten toes down on that list.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
You love it, love it? I stand ten toes down
on that list. Yeah, and you know, the whole indie
film thing. I can do. I can do a better
job of appreciating it. But my mindset going into it,
I had no clue what this world was like. It's like, oh,
we're gonna go see a movie called The Mastermind. There's
gonna be a museum heist, and do not going with
(31:13):
the mentality of like I'm about to watch an actual
good movie.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Was this guy at any point in the movie a Mastermind?
Speaker 1 (31:19):
No? No, he's stole a painting. I did it very poorly.
They got caught within twenty four hours. The detective was
ass house, his wife and kids left him. He was
a bum. He's going and trying to mooch money off
other people and gets rockey, then gets thrown in the
back of a cop car and then it just ended.
Yeah fair enough. Yeah, now that's that's still it. Treasure.
(31:42):
That's a movie.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
National Trail is so underrated. Rips sweet some tear talks in.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Let's get some tear talks in.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
This one comes from Tom and the last name I
can't pronounce hashtag tear talk. If you could chill for
a day in any historical era, which one would it be.
That's a great one.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
The Roman Empire, Marcus Aurelius, chill for a day. Some
of the best oaks were slaves facts, some of the
best oaks were.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Man I would probably say, like the Roaring twenties, like
right before that crash, like boot legging's going on, everyone's
dressed to the nines, twenty four to seven, something about Gatsby,
to that movie, not an indie film, but still a
fantastic film. I think it'd be fun to get out there,
walk around a little bit where a top hats, see
what it's all about. Have to be in the Northeast, Yeah,
(32:33):
have to be.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
This one's from caleby Ingram, maybe the biggest tier one
of all Tier once. What is a life changing quote
or lesson you leaned on during an adverse time in
your life when you were ready to quit, never ready
to quit? What have you ever quit anything? Football? Oh,
there's definitely been times where I wanted to quit. Shit.
(32:55):
A quote mine is, uh, Nobody's coming to save you.
That is nobody's going to save you. Nobody cares, work harder.
Some people wait for eight, some people wait for fate.
Others create their own destiny. Those are like the big
three that have always stayed kind of true in my head.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
One that my daughter knows verbatim now is those who
suffer before it's necessary suffer more than necessary. I love
that quote and I feel it works so well with
like all the uncertainty of what could happen, and you're
just you're torturing yourself with the thought process of things
you can't control. Just get to that point and if
it's the worst case scenario, you'll handle it. Then if not, hey,
look how much you didn't have to worry about it.
(33:30):
That's a big one for me.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Well, JP love a good quote.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
I love a lot of good quotes along the hard
working ones. I love one from HERMOSI. It's like somebody
or I don't even know if it's from him, but
somewhere out there there's somebody that came from less than
you and has more than you, which means the only
difference is the work, which is just hits you hard
in your soul. And I also love the one. You
might have to help me on it, but it's like
(33:56):
the more defined your why is the more clear your becomes.
Which I love that one because it's I think so
many times we struggle with our why and then it
makes everything else that much harder.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, because a lot of times you chase a lot
of things too, for like surface level, for like surface
level reasons. Yeah, so getting all the way down to
why you want something and that being kind of your
motivator for how it gets done. Another one, you're bringing
up work. I always love the quote too. It's like, uh,
the work doesn't care who does it. Yeah, that's a
fire one.
Speaker 7 (34:30):
Direction is more important than speed.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Love that one. And so smooth because smooth is faster
than speed. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (34:39):
My dad has always said that one because he related
it to when he used the race motocross. Yeah, yeah,
just hit home.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Here's a tear talk too from Winnie the bich Three
to three waffles are pancakes for the bust and crew,
Which is better waffles?
Speaker 6 (35:01):
I will say something about something about like a chocolate
chip pancake.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Oh, something about it.
Speaker 6 (35:07):
But like a plane, a plain waffle versus a plain pancake.
I'm going waffle. But if you're going chocolate chip pancakes
over a waffle. I'm going chocolate chip cakes.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Something about the the texture of a waffle over a
pancake for me, just whispy you bite into, it's nice
soft in the middle.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Come on, now, the only thing that the game is
the kid you put in all the little holes. Yeah,
and I'm with you on waffles over pancakes, but the
thing with me is just getting them when the craters
are big and you just gotta take so much time
with the damn butter bro Oh yeah, hey, that's what
you got to spread scoop it. Like I want to
kill this waffle. I just gotta I gotta take my time. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
The the assembly process for a waffle takes a little
longer than the pancake.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah. Sometimes I'll just stop a quarter of the way through.
I'm just like, I gotta eat this waffle. I'll save
this buttered part for the last of my last bites. Dude.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Yeah, the waffle, and he put all the fixing you
can do with the pancake as well, But I just
feel like the waffle dress is better. You can put
the whether it's chocolate chips you want to put on it,
the strawberries, the whipped cream, all it just dresses nicer
than the pancake does.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
I do love a good pancake, though, man, especially if
you throw some peanut butter on that pancake. Hey, that
is really fucking good peanut butter. That is nice peanut butter. Man,
Peanut butter goes.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
A long way.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
Yeah, butter goes a long way. Man.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Evan Coob says, could the back of the back of
the bus boys rush for a TD on the goal
line in the NFL hashtag tear talk?
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Yeah, I don't see why not. Depends what defense has happened.
Speaker 7 (36:38):
I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
JP is not scoring. So on the goal line, let's wild.
Let's get me specific which yard line we're doing? The
one or the two? Three way? All right? So ball
is place balls placed at the three yard line. This
is any any scenario you think you put the boys
(37:01):
in a running back? Hey, JP, Mitch, whoever get in there.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
It's gotta be no fair dog. It's gotta be a downhole,
down hill gap scheme play can't be. Hey, we're gonna
buck down with the tackle, guard's gonna go up. You're
gonna go into the sea gap. That's too much reading,
Like I need ISO, I need wedge.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
I love ISO. Put the full back back there.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
And be like just follow him and then hopefully along
the way you have good blocking up front, probably the
left side, and it works out. But if there's not
good blocking, no shot.
Speaker 6 (37:32):
You think Demon's getting in there.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
No, Demon's getting killed.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Demon, Demon is getting murdered, murdered. I think the only
person though, Mitch's got a shot.
Speaker 7 (37:46):
Mitch and Jack's body like, yeah, are built the most
for it.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
I mean, look at a photo of me next to
Derrick Henry. I'm literally getting in that end zone.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Without a doubt.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
If we do an ISO, yeah, that's gonna help a lot.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
But ISO is the play I would.
Speaker 5 (38:04):
But if we had but one person, our whole team,
we're putting Mitch out there first. We're gonna put Mitch
out there, and then second, third, probably Michigan.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
Third comes around, maybe give me the rock.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
I would put my trust in Mitch though.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Here's what I like.
Speaker 7 (38:22):
I'm closing my eyes running through there.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
He gonna run in the back of a yeah all over. Yeah, Bro,
that that is such a.
Speaker 6 (38:31):
What about what about uh Matt Malone broken? Do you
think does worse matter?
Speaker 1 (38:38):
Jared Jared Jared, that's.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Gonna be pretty bummed to hear that one.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Nobody is scoring unless the offensive line just moves the
line of script.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Right, if they score with their guy in the end zone,
you got a shot.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
We trust our hogs.
Speaker 7 (38:54):
Yeah, I got Kate McConnell blocking for me.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I think, oh again, such a miserable there. If the
offensive line moves the defensive line into the end zone.
Speaker 7 (39:07):
Damn, he said, you're not making someone miss.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
You're not making nobody miss.
Speaker 6 (39:12):
I mean, I'm not saying I'm making anybody miss. But
I think, like I'm not going to get stone walled.
I think I could fall forward for a yard or two.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
You think the.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
Bud you getting you probably falling forward for a yard
or two, But you're getting met a yard or two
in the backfield like you got to make. I'm just
letting you know, man, it is so.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
You think the changes are higher of you getting stonewalled
or you falling forward a.
Speaker 6 (39:38):
Yard stone wall. But I'm gonna say I got I'm
doing it for the boys in the backing it.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
I believe you're going one hundred miles an hour that
first play. I believe that that second play after what
just happened you in the first play. That's and I
think that's when it gets that's when question marks doubt
creeps in your head of like, oh my god, I've
never been touched like that.
Speaker 6 (40:01):
Mind, I would feel more comfortable trying to catch a
touchdown pass and rush for a touchdown pass.
Speaker 7 (40:08):
MIT's versus Nate Wiggins. I got Mitch.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Taking.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Yeah, we gotta get you on the grid iron. We
gotta get you a tryout or something like that.
Speaker 6 (40:20):
Delaney talked about doing the tryouts like I am about
that and JP.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
Yeah there, but there's also no way that's real, right,
there's no way that.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
A movie. He said, Yeah, they do tryouts every year.
I don't think I feel like we would have already,
we would have heard it. Yeah, yeah, dude.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
We had a guy during camp one year at the
Titans camped out outside the fence with a sign being
saying give me a shot, and he was out there
for I think over a week.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
The Tennessee Dints do not hold open tryouts for for
the main NFL teams. Yeah, it doesn't happen. Yeah, we
gotta use you out there for notes. Hopefully the next
times head coach is a big busting fan. We can
get you out there, get you in for like four days,
just get him a.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Goal line repea. We need to create this. Yeah, it
should happen.
Speaker 6 (41:12):
I don't think there's a dB that would like sign
up for it, because like they'll be either either I
do something against them and then they probably get cut,
or they like just go ridiculously hard at me and
be like, this guy's a pussy. Get him the fuck
out of here. Why am I even doing this?
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah. On that note, on that final
bite by Man, we're also brought to you, brought to
you by McDonald's. We have a final Bite segment, the
Final Byte segment, presented by McDonald's. All right, going into
the Final Bite. This Final Byte segment is presented by McDonald's,
a sponsor segment that delivers our sharpest takeaway heading into
(41:53):
the weekend. Whether it's a bold prediction, a hot take,
or storyline flying under the radar, the Final Bite gives
fans the one thing to keep in mind before finishing
their week or tuning into kickoff. Let's dip in some denim.
Let's dip. Let's dip in some denim and where dipping
in denim came from is McDonald's does have a new
buffalo ranch zang a tangy zang of buffalo creamy cool
(42:18):
of mild ranch. It's mild and wild and at the
same time, it's a sauce that bounces itself. And compliments
are Crispy Chicken, Love myself of McChicken or mccrispy a
mccrispy chicken sandwich or mccrispy strips that Sherman introduced us
to last Thursday on the Thursday night football stream, or
pairs perfectly with a snack wrap. There's a new sauce
(42:39):
in town and it's at McDonald's tingy, creamy buffalo ranch. Order.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
Now, now we talk about dipping and denim because last week,
when McDonald's came to us and we're like, hey, we
want to promote this zesty buffalo ranch, we want you
guys to have a take along with it, shirm share,
ripping back and forth, we started talking about dipping and denim,
and I see at about twelve point five on the
screen here it says what are the dipping in den
and parameters?
Speaker 1 (43:01):
Sure do you have those? Oh? I thought that could
be something that we established here on the pop.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
I think here's what needs to happen this week, because
you're going to the Navy this today.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
I'm hitting up Navy to day.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Got to have to and we need to get denimed out.
We need to do a field trip over to a
Mickey D's get us, and we need to dip in
denim for real. Post that photo and then challenge the
tier ones into also dipping in denim.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Right, I did, parameter set parameters.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Take the photo and then you guys take a photo
hashtag dipping in denim. And if you know, you know, chefs,
if you know, yeah, I'm down. I'm down a dipping.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Do you have a final bite?
Speaker 3 (43:51):
Yeah, my final byte something for you guys to chew on,
nibble on a little bit. And it happened yesterday, actually
happened to day, but where the shows came comes out
on Tuesday. This happened Monday. Dable firing. I'm gonna go
on a record saying that's a mistake. You shouldn't have
done it. You find a little bit of juice.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Russell.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
The Russell Wilson saga ended, everyone doesn't like Dabel.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
He needs to go.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
He gets his quarterback. The one he's most excited about
in this draft. He comes in him's camp Scataboo. Where
do they create the create the creteam Caucasians. We got
juice flying all over the place to where this media
market of the New York Giants is now being uplifted.
They're winning games, They're at least, at the very least
extremely competitive in games. Jackson Dart goes down, gives himself
(44:34):
a little concussion. He's in the protocol right now. Regardless
of how this season ends, I believe they should have
gave Dable another year because what happens. You go on
a coaching search the GM. He goes and picks a guy.
He find this guy's a maybe he's a suit Maybe
he's very serious individual. You have very unique personalities when
it comes to Jackson Dart and scam Camp Scataboo. How
(44:55):
is that gonna go with this new head coach. It
seemed like Dabel was like firing all cylinders with these boys,
and I think it should You should have at least
gone into the first seven eight weeks of next year
before you make this decision. I think it's a It's
the wrong move by the Giants. That's my take.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
M good take.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
How do we feel about that take?
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Anybody disagree with the take? Who would you like to
see as the Giants coach too early? I found this
out right before we walked in the bus. I would
say the firing got warranted over the last Like again,
they've been ahead by ten points in four games a
season in the second half, the two losses that they
had being up with the Denver Broncos, and then this,
uh this past week against the Bears. Doesn't help himself
(45:37):
out again going down it's fourth and goal defense gets
a penalty, you're on the half yard line, you opt
to a we're still going to take our three point?
Speaker 3 (45:43):
Yeah, should have should have went for it, should have
put Mitch Carsley in the backfield and you win a
goal line play.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
Should have done there. It's gonna be a split reaction.
I don't see any benefit of firing your It's just
you don't really see a whole lot of benefit of
firing your head coach in the middle of.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
You really don't, And at all it does is caused
more concern once the players understand that it's over for them.
I don't disagree with the you're up by ten and
the fourth and you lose should that should very rarely happen,
but that can get better. Who knows that this coach
is going to jail or this coach wanted Jackson Dart
if he agrees with the personalities. I think it just
(46:22):
it's a very unique situation. You should have kept the
coach because the personality is fitting for the situation. I
but the you lose four games, being up by ten
in the fourth quarter, all the reason in the world
to fire head coach, but this one, to me is
very unique.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
Yeah, I feel like too, all the things that was
like making Day Bowl great, especially when you look at
his first year where he had some success. It's kind
of like getting some culture wins. And I feel like,
even though you've lost your guys again being up in
the fourth quarter like a culture guy, culture wins they
still take place. Even though you get beaten down and
losing to your quarterback. You've been without the league neighbors
in camps. Kataboo defense hasn't really done any thing. They
(47:00):
haven't stood up, even though they have guys all over
the place defensively. So I feel like that's like, I see,
I understand why it happened. I think it's just tough
for anybody to get fired in the middle of the season.
You know you're gonna get rid of him. You can
easily do it right out the rest of the year.
Wait till Black Monday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, wait till Black Monday.
My final bite for McDonald's is going to be Jacob
(47:21):
Rodriguez should be talked about a top five guy in
the Heisman conversation as a linebacker. I don't know where
he's at on the odds right now. I don't even
think he's anywhere on the odds for Heisman, but he
should be somebody strongly considered as a defensive player getting
more notoriety in the Heisman conversation. Right now, he's averaging
(47:41):
eight point eight tackles. The last defensive player to be
in the Heisman conversation Mantiiteo, he had about one hundred
and thirteen tackles, seven takeaways. This Jacob Rodriguez is averaging
more tackles to where he's gonna blow that out of
the water. He has seven forced fumbles alone, ten takeaways
on the season. Three what pick three picks? Yeah, three picks,
seven force fumbles. He has fourteen tackles this past week
(48:03):
against BYU got an interception, recovered another fumble. But let's
put let's get Jacob Rodriguez. He's starting to get on
the map. Let's get him more on the map going
into this weekend when you're dipping in dinner with McDonald's.
So your take is, we need to talk about this
guy more. Yeah, he has no odds on the Fandel sportsbook.
He's not He's not in any conversation. Was a few
articles out there, but he needs to be in the
(48:24):
conversation as a possibility for a defensive guy in the Heisman.
Speaker 3 (48:28):
Wasn't Jabrill Peppers in the Heisman conversation?
Speaker 1 (48:32):
He was for like a little bit like I know,
coming in pretty sure.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
He went to New York, honey, Yeah, honey Badger. That
was right around the same time as Manti. Yeah, right
around the same time.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
Did Sue He didn't go. Sue went, but that was went.
That was before Manti. Yeah, I'm trying to figure out
the Manti thing. Man Manti, It's guaranteed nobody's been there
since Maytan Teo as a linebacker.
Speaker 3 (48:58):
As a linebacker, I mean, so the is talk about
this guy more. I'm saying, let's get him to New.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
York the t Yeah, the take is Jacob Rodriguez should
be in the Heisman Trophy conversation. I love it.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
I'm disagree with especially because we have Maguire on the
way he was talking about him, talk me about what's next.
He's getting the whole team up in front of the
weight room.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Yeah, that fires me out. That's leadership right there. I
love that he's gotten elite mustache. By the way, he
is all in on the November movement?
Speaker 3 (49:23):
What else can you ask for? What else can you
ask for? Should we get into this episode with Kay

camera or lens between us. Thank you guys for having me.
Finally on the bus.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
It is finally on bus with the boys. JP's not
on here, No he's not, but he was here earlier.
You know how, guys get around pretty girls, get a
little nervous. You walks.
Speaker 3 (53:00):
He okay, good to see I out of there, because
you don't want to last, you don't want to spend
too much time.
Speaker 1 (53:04):
You really started to figure.
Speaker 10 (53:05):
Out he was wonderful. He's very married, he's very like adult.
Like I feel like he's growing in front of my eyes.
It's nice to see. I wish I would have been
invited to the bachelor party. That's right. I came all
the way down here to like give him shit for that.
Like I would have loved to do a drive by
wherever they have their bachelor party.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
Just pop up and green herself.
Speaker 10 (53:24):
Pop in, buy him a drink, buy him a cold
bud light, do some push ups. Great time.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
Yeah, your show. Can I just tell you every Tuesday
we do your show, when we do.
Speaker 10 (53:35):
Your show, thank you for doing mention that.
Speaker 3 (53:36):
We we come on the people. Hey, can you hear
a fine? Can you see her?
Speaker 1 (53:39):
Fine?
Speaker 3 (53:39):
All right, great, you're gonna come on a little bit.
And then you go to break and you start having
a conversation with the other gentleman who's.
Speaker 10 (53:45):
The Matthew Hamilton.
Speaker 3 (53:46):
Matthew Hamilton in that you'll start asking questions light clockwork tomorrow.
Will do this, Will, We'll start answering you back and
I have to go hey, Will, like she's they're not.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
Finally your production.
Speaker 3 (53:58):
Teams like, hey, by the way, she can't or you
want to see it.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
But every time and the flow that a response. It's
like we're all having a conversation. And then they got to.
Speaker 10 (54:13):
Tell me, sht Midwest. You just want to dig right
and thank you guys for being on time, thank you
for being really on the progress. I don't know that
that happened. They should just like let you guys flow.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
I'm like, I don't know. I think if you do that,
they will They can't hear you. They can't. He'll be
in the middle of the take going through it. Then
you'll ask and he'll like kind of get through what
you thought was way better than a second thought.
Speaker 10 (54:34):
It is very difficult to interview two people on like
a zoomer on anything, and you guys somehow finish each
other's sentences. Do you guys hold such space for each other.
I don't know that there's a team because we're holding
hands now. I love this. That is easier because I
was worried about You can ask my production I was like,
I don't know if that both of them together is
going to be difficult for me. And you guys have
just been amazing. Can we Fandue hold hands? It's beautiful?
Speaker 1 (55:00):
How has it been running your own show? Coming?
Speaker 3 (55:02):
And I want to get into Good Morning Football and
all that. Yeah, really started to make your mark. But
like you being solo, what were the original like worries concerns.
You obviously went off the diving board and like, hey.
Speaker 10 (55:15):
Here, I'm not worried about that. I like, I sort
of just feel like a land on my feet. I
have this just idea in my head that'll be okay.
I wouldn't say I run the show. I would say
I host the show, like I am not. I'm not
good at business, I'm not good at you know, leading necessarily,
but I know I think what works. I think I
know and I'm really guided by what the fan feels.
(55:37):
I think I've always led with that in my career
and asking you questions, you questions whoever I'm talking to,
and for sort of forming my point of view. I've
always been like a fan first person. It's why I
love YouTube, It's why I love FanDuel like it's you know,
sort of knowing your audience, and that led me so
when it came to creating content solo, I just knew
I really wanted to interview people. That's my strength. I
(55:59):
like talking, like conversation. I'm naturally curious, So that part
wasn't hard. Partnering with FANDUIL was really necessary. I don't
know that I could do it otherwise because at the time,
especially if they were just so willing to support me
and say, what do you think this should be? What
do you think we should do? What kind of guess? Oh,
you want Taylor Lawan on every morning, Let's try to
(56:20):
see if we can make that, or every week, let's
see if we can make that happen to get his
point of view, Like I sort of have that that idea,
even Daniel Jones, right, that was like, oh, we want
Daniel Jones on your show every week. That's he doesn't
talk very much. But I just have those sort of
those sort of ideas that they were willing to support.
But as far as like running it, I wouldn't. I mean,
I don't even run my life like cat and they
(56:42):
can all tell you, but yeah, it's it's obviously like
having a good team, like you guys have here the
welcome wagon. I'm busting with the boys. You guys had
like candy and coffee for me, like that little stuff
goes a long way. So it's just been really fun.
I don't I won't. I wouldn't say that I have
some master plan though, I just have never operated that way.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
Well, the cle doesn't cleanup is in here immediately, Okay,
it's coming on next week. We're like, let's get some Hey.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
This this office is running way different. You walk in today,
it's cleaner, like every Monday.
Speaker 1 (57:09):
We have a candle there. Every Monday.
Speaker 3 (57:12):
Walk in and there's like the debris, the snowing debris
of our Thursday night stream like shipping here almost terrible,
and then like Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
By Wednesday, I kind of I.
Speaker 3 (57:20):
Find the clears out before the next Thursday stream food
comes in and messes it all up. Walking to day, dude,
it's clean, things are orderly put together. We get done
with the intro for busting, and shirm's playing like meditation
spaw music in the side. There's there's an essential oil.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
Fragrance coming out. I'm like, well we do it. We'll
all play. Yeah, Okay, this is how sorry for the
mess around here.
Speaker 10 (57:46):
Extrogen walked into the building.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
Great, it was like a pre estrogen before the estrogen.
Speaker 10 (57:52):
I feel like once in a while you need a
little of that energy at least to get the place clean,
dust up, some stuff.
Speaker 1 (57:58):
You hold this like, rechange the standard, weset our expectations.
K love, sweet candy. Let's get the.
Speaker 10 (58:05):
Nathan Rose coming in bench press?
Speaker 1 (58:08):
Yeah that was how did that come up? Because I
just walked up and she walked into our nest and asked.
Men were like, hey, our guests, we like to do
bench press. Let's get on the right. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 10 (58:20):
He asked me if I wanted to slap a Lucian
and I was like, I should have done that before.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
I was like, I was like, JP, I walks in,
you get a little nurse out. You want to bench press?
Speaker 10 (58:31):
I tried. I tried.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
You impressed?
Speaker 10 (58:33):
Oh did I?
Speaker 1 (58:35):
I thought maybe one? But you kind of went down.
This is kind of easy boy.
Speaker 6 (58:39):
Now.
Speaker 10 (58:39):
I thought that I did one, and then you called
me out and said you got to bring it all
the way down.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
You got to bring it all the way down.
Speaker 10 (58:43):
Yeah, And then I did, and then I kind of
did one. I was I was proud of myself.
Speaker 1 (58:47):
You should, I think, going back to what we was
talking about it, so it doesn't seem like you were
nervous at all going solow, Like I'm thinking, you're kind
of you know, you are essentially betting on yourself because
you guys had an incredible show going with Good Morning Football.
It was fun, it was energetic. It was something I
felt like in art when I was on the Titans,
(59:08):
like something we had on every morning, and it seemed
different than what you're used to seeing. And then the
news of you going solo, like, I'm assuming that there
would probably be nerves and doing that, but listening to you,
it sounds like you kind of had a vision.
Speaker 10 (59:20):
Now I wouldn't say I had a vision will, but
it was such a good feeling like I had. I
had felt very good about sitting with FanDuel and what
that could look like, and I thought, okay, and at
that point Pat was still with FanDuel, and I loved that,
like I loved what that looked like and the support
FanDuel sort of gave him and the creative freedom. Honestly, now, gosh,
(59:44):
this is my fourth year. I look at it and
I'm seeing other people do that and that where content
creation can go. And I feel like I'm ahead of that,
which I feel like I made the right move at
the right time. I loved Good Morning football and being
on in every important facility is like invaluable, right you
walk in and you have this three hours it replayed
(01:00:06):
for three hours, so six hours you're on in the
most important places where like you guys sort of saw
me and and did my thing. But I felt so
good about the work I did there, and I knew
that I didn't want to stay, and it was I
had an offer to stay, and I was like, man,
do I really want to do this for like four more?
Do I really is this the right time to leave?
And I very much feel great about when I left.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
How hard was it with the relationships that you guys,
the chemistry and everything else.
Speaker 10 (01:00:31):
Yeah, I mean there was like an though I don't
know that they'll ever I'll ever be part of something
like what it was like being you know, with Nate
every morning and then Peter and Kyle of course just
for like absolute lunatics when it came to football and
loving football. So I think I but I think I did.
I realized it while I had nothing at this point
(01:00:51):
when I left, Nate had already been gone, so we
already started mucking with the first people he did he left,
and then something we did that we we we had
like Lehel McCoy in there, a bunch we had I
think I'm a Cordy or two in there to fill
in that, like you know, person who sat next to me.
But I will say, now, put like Sean O'Hara, But
(01:01:13):
I would say, like, you know, Kyle and Peter were
always the editorial compass. They were like Peter's like dialed in.
This is what everyone's talking about. This is what matters,
like the way his mind were, Kyle's ability to sort
of go there. But I think that at that time,
like we're talking twenty sixteen, it's actually insane to think
about like how much how long ago that was. We
were really interested in, like breaking the fourth wall, which
(01:01:35):
back then you didn't really do you guys bring that
to get upset all the time. I think that that's
now prevalent and normalized in the content space, whether it's
linear TV, YouTube, whatever. But we were just so down
from the beginning to say, oh, snap, my mic fell off,
or oh, like we got tripped up on this wire
or like I dropped an F bomb or like whatever
(01:01:57):
that happened. That was like sacrilegion the way that TV
used to be handled. We were just we really like
loved and embrace those moments. And then by the time
COVID happened, when everybody had to sort of embrace those
kind of moments, we were ahead of it. We just
really without talking about it, we loved that vibe, and
that vibe I think has continued with with that show,
(01:02:17):
of course, and in our respective worlds and really in
sports content altogether.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Yeah, I feel like all four you guys are crushing it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
Oh absolutely, thank you, Nate. I mean, was he on
Good Good Morning America.
Speaker 10 (01:02:29):
Now he was CBS Morning, CBS Mornings.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Yeah, crushing. Yeah, Kyle's been crushing. Kyle does a great
job with the monologue. Yeah, he kind of dives into the.
Speaker 10 (01:02:41):
World unbelievable, I think so. Yeah, I mean he's he
he had his process. I would say, so, like Kyle
is so prepared, like he's so prepared to attack that
kind of moment and knowing what it is, and it's
like I don't prepare so to watch that and like
how much goes into it is like remarkable and he's
(01:03:03):
just like whip smart, like quick as a whip, all
those all of them. When you will have to do
like a reunion, that would be that problem looking at
these pictures, like, holy moly, we'll have to do a
reunion show at some point. Yeah, but thanks for watching
and like caring about that show. Thank you guys for like,
like it really only worked because players wanted to come on.
And I think that from your perspective being in that
(01:03:25):
locker room, it was like, holy shit, they're they're attacking
this from like a way of more of levity and
celebrating us instead of not yeah it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Was it was yeah because you go in in the
mornings like five thirty six, six am, and you guys
are You're on every single TV in the cafeteria, and
it's like even when the volume wasn't on, you can
see the level of entertainment because I think you guys
are just having fun the entire time. And then you
guys come to Nashville and I remember, like ca.
Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
Or somebody called me. I was like, do you want to.
Speaker 10 (01:03:50):
Do oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
Yeah, good morning football. I'm like, bro, yes, that would
be awesome. And I walked in there and I'm like
obviously very nervous somewhere walking with Kyle, and he's kind
of giving me the low down.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Hey, this is what's going to happen.
Speaker 10 (01:04:01):
We were like at Tootsies.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
We're at Tootsies and.
Speaker 10 (01:04:05):
Smelled like what smells like. We got there like four
in the morning, and I was like, this is interesting. Okay,
there's like people still making out in the bathroom, but
here we are zoom.
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Yeah, you guys on it the whole time. It seemed
like a level of improv to where you guys had
these stuff on the monitor, but you just kind of
kept going and feeling each other out. It was really
fun to be a part of it.
Speaker 10 (01:04:25):
You guys have that vibe. It's like that you can
kind of count on each other to pick each other
up kind of thing. Those three guys definitely had.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
That Oh stop, no, it's true.
Speaker 10 (01:04:35):
It's true. Then you guys walk in to get up
when we've talked about this on up and atoms like,
to bring that energy is meaningful and I think it's
really valuable. And I mean, I hope you guys are
getting as much out of it as they are, because
you guys are really think bringing it to that and
you guys fly up there to do that. I'm not kidding,
it's real.
Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
I just you know what it is. You're sitting in
there in a room with a bunch of other guys
in your compliment us, and so there's a level of
us being like, how do we.
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Receive because I hope is true?
Speaker 10 (01:05:07):
Do you guys work hard at that? Or is it
like how much do you guys prepare for those hours?
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
If are you talking about for get up?
Speaker 10 (01:05:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
Yeah, I mean we'll do the pre production call. It's
just it's such a new world because you've got to
be on You can't just sit there and kind of
like podcast like you're gonna.
Speaker 10 (01:05:23):
Have spaces and you're live on TV. It's totally different.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
He looks at you and says, what if I told
you this? And then you have to have something formulated
to where it's more of a national audience and not
necessarily the niche audience, to where they might know.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
The personalities and stuff like that. Yeah, because there are
like when like last week, Will goes to his friend's wedding,
and was it last week or two weeks ago? Two
weeks ago he goes he goes to his friend's wedding,
doesn't get to watch a whole lot of football. He
comes on the show Monday and it's me, Greg Olsen
and him, and he's like, hey, boy's full transparency. I
wasn't able to watch a whole lot of football, And
(01:05:59):
so we always Podcas kind of put that out there
and then me and Grag can kind of and be like,
hey this happened. He be like, oh shit, and then
you can talk about it like there's none of that
taking place on ESPN, like you have to know and
watch everything. The stress relport for me is like we
get this call Wednesday and the last thing is about
every single game taking place. So there's whatever sixteen games.
Those games are taking place, and then we're going to
(01:06:20):
talk about four of them, but I don't know the
four we're going to really talk about until like five pm.
Speaker 10 (01:06:25):
Oh is that true?
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Yeah, because they're they're they're getting together their run of
show and so you know, like Cowboys are mostly gonna
be talked about. You know, you goog gets fired. If
there we were on today, we know that would be
talked about quite a bit. But like they really get
your opinion on all of the games, But.
Speaker 10 (01:06:37):
Do they press you for a take like they're you know,
like you mean like like Taylor, you're the king of Like.
Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
I don't love the I love the weave.
Speaker 10 (01:06:45):
I feel like you practiced you you got into the
Bob and weave on up and Adams a complex.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
That was.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
That was my first time and that was like I
was like, bro, I feel like she wants me to
do takes, but like, yeah, I'm.
Speaker 10 (01:06:57):
A I want to give it to give it to Taylor.
Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
How do you feel about I'm like shit, and them
boys are trying hard out there, right and.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
They're doing the best they can.
Speaker 10 (01:07:05):
At that point, he was too close in it will
and I thought like he just came off the field.
There's no way he's gonna But years later you're still
sort of you see.
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
Even now, like like on your show, I said the
Brock party thing. I said, hey, I have I have
a source that says.
Speaker 10 (01:07:18):
Brock pretty thing. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
Because it was my first time being like okay, I
could see what k wants. I understand like the world
they kind of want me to live into. Let me
dive into that. And somebody did say that to me,
so I'm like, let me make this a take.
Speaker 10 (01:07:29):
No no, I do that.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
And because I'm close with Kittle and Christian reach Out
and they're like, bro, what what the fuck are you doing?
I'm like, yeah, you're right, what am I? And then
they go to the super Bowl, so I like go
to the media days. I'm like, hey, just so you know.
Speaker 10 (01:07:43):
But it also like you're welcome because I lit a
fire like you literally you're welcome, right, So like I
deserve collateral thank yous from Brock and Company.
Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
And the thing that's so crazy about like daily shows
like yours or ESPN is there there has to be
a form of entertainment every single day. And so if
it's like Thursday on week four and you're like or
ESPN's like Taylor is are the Giants gonna make the
playoffs this year? It's like, oh yeah, Like maybe, hey,
(01:08:16):
can I say maybe on the show? And that's like
the thing I have the hardest time with, like skirting
around what do I actually believe in?
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
What am I just saying?
Speaker 10 (01:08:23):
But also you don't need to. I think that's what
you guys prove. You don't need to always have some
scathing take. You can be and you can live in
the maybe zone. I certainly do but yeah, but that
I mean, you guys crush on ESPN.
Speaker 7 (01:08:33):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
I love doing something that kind of champions whatever the
storyline might be and then adding some entertainment factor. There
are a few weeks ago, I'll give you walked into
a take, so there's a few There's a few weeks
and they were asking me, I forget what game was.
It was the Colts and somebody else and Colt Chargers.
Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
It was coach Chargers, yeah, because they were going to
LA and You're like, look who they.
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
Anyway, And I was like, you can kind of help
fill in holes with this too, because I kind of
can't remember a whole lot. I just remember whatever I said.
And I'm like, oh, I think the Chargers. I think
the Chargers get out with come up with win here.
And they're like, do you feel like the the cults
are overrated?
Speaker 10 (01:09:13):
And this is like on television.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
And I was like, Charges going pre pro Yeah, YadA,
would you say? I'm like, the Colts haven't really played anybody,
and I think when they play against a good quarterback
like Herbert because at the time, I want to say
their wins were against like quarterbacks who weren't like of substance.
So like I see Charges winning this game. They're like,
would you say that the cults are overrated? I was like,
(01:09:39):
I mean, I wouldn't say that they're overrated. I just
feel like they haven't like played, they haven't been challenged yet.
So that's why my opinion of the Chargers winning is
that's why I'm taking the Chargers. And the next day
we get in on there and in the rundown.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Like three times on that call.
Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
Okay, So he circled back at the very end, I
straight out of Compton takes it was he had. He
was like, uh, the charge of the cults are over eight.
I was like, I did not say again, I did not.
I don't not think the cults are overrated. But I
can see where if you guys are wanting me to
do that, like I can lean in or play into
the cults being overrated. And is that how it went down?
(01:10:18):
Or did I say no again?
Speaker 5 (01:10:19):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
You said no, You said no multiple times. But this
is when I went and got a haircut. So I'm
looking at what will talk about? These are what will
this is? Who will sticking blah blah blah, And I
see culture cults are frauds on my on my phone.
I'm like, that's a crazy thinke By one went out
they have the best record in the NFL right now,
and so yeah, yeah, yeah, five and one.
Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
We're flying out there and tailorings it over to me.
He's like, you think cults are flogged? I was like, no, bro.
They just keep asking me on the phone like who
I think is gonna win the game? Boy? I think
the charge are gona win because they haven't played anybody.
And that's just turned into me saying I guess that
they're frauds.
Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
Yeah, and we get six Am rolls around and we're
like doing the Hey, this we're talking a the show
straight out of Compton's. Will's got the Colts being frauds
to Will and it Will just shrugs your shoulders. I'm like,
all right, I guess that's what we're going with. But
this is what Will did great is obviously the Colts
go they beat the Chargers, and so they're like, now
they're now a team that's been you know, we're.
Speaker 10 (01:11:15):
Coming out now to the AC Championship game. You're freaking welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
Because the Colts lose last week, they lost Stealers and
then Will just tweets out, maybe I was right. Beat
the Chargers. Everybody's coming after me. And I'm like, all right,
maybe I was wrong.
Speaker 10 (01:11:32):
And then everybody the Colts have this fan base that's
coming after you though were now it's interesting. So Pat
messages me and he's like, can we see bloody Daniel Jones?
Can we see that? Can we see this this recent
this recent one just just for the Ambian.
Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
Message, And he's like, Will can be makings And he's like,
your Colts take. I was like, I don't feel like
you guys have played anybody at Pat mcaphone. Oh you
doubled down on Pat. I didn't like double down. He
has a play yet. Yeah, I got the Charges this weekend.
Then when they lost, I tweet out, maybe I was wrong.
(01:12:08):
Everybody's coming after me. Then they lose to Pittsburgh, Like
maybe I was right. Yeah, they basically wiel you have
to win the Super Bowl for a Will to be wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
We literally and Will Compton fashion like he's gone against
the Chiefs every day year and every year they're in
the Super I have seen that. Yeah, the Colts are
on their way.
Speaker 10 (01:12:25):
I don't know if this is the year for the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
We'll see.
Speaker 10 (01:12:27):
Gosh, you might be right, it's win this year, but.
Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
Last year we beat them. I mean the Philadelphia Eagles.
We beat the Chiefs. But now I got Philly. Now
I got Philly coming after my neck because I've been
kind of like, ah, there's something there that I think
hasn't been exposed yet. I don't know what it is
until it happens.
Speaker 10 (01:12:44):
My take on the Colts is not take on the team,
but like they I'm sort of like I, you know,
the pulse of the fan right the fan base. They're
handling success very well, these Colts fans, I do, so
it's what do you mean? I feel like sometimes when
teams do this, like when the Bills got hot, it
was why aren't you talking about the Bills? Or like
if they're you know, there's a lot of like there's
(01:13:06):
a lot of teams that handle success not as well.
They handle it very well. I think that they are doing.
The Bengals aren't here right now, but when they when
the Bengals were on their Super Bowl run, they were
just like why I got in on it is they
were just like really enjoying the ride, and I, as
a fan, there's nothing better there's nothing better than like
(01:13:27):
Packers fans. They expect it. They're too great. They've had
greatness too much. So if they do really well, they're
not They're not like as excited and they're not as like,
I'm just enjoying the ride. The Colts are enjoying the ride,
and I love that. I don't think that they're like
we should be talked about more. Why are you talking
about Jonathan Taylor. They're just enjoying it, at least for
right now. And I do love that about this Colts team,
So why they're they're easy to root for right now?
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
The thing, the reason why I thought like it's easy
for them is because I have never played in a
stadium that is more well trained fans. And that's because
of Peyton manning interesting deck into Lucas Oil Stadium, and
when the office is on the field, it does not matter.
You can hear a pandrom. They're smart, dude, They are
so smart and then they get up and super like.
They understand the game probably better than any other fan base.
Speaker 10 (01:14:11):
You think they're the Are you saying they're the smartest
to make a take? But I'm serious, are they I
would see the Packers probably up there, right, Packers has
to be Packers to we come off as very savvy, smart. No, Will,
why are you looking?
Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
I'm thinking about more teams sometimes, that's my Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:14:26):
He opened, like you're like, yeah, okay, got it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Patriots? Oh yeah, Patriots are probably But.
Speaker 10 (01:14:34):
Like, how were they? What are they? Eight and two?
What are they not? Seven and two?
Speaker 5 (01:14:37):
Eight?
Speaker 10 (01:14:37):
And oh my gosh, I can't believe we're here best
even in the NFL right now?
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Patriots show, I don't think.
Speaker 10 (01:14:47):
Can you do that?
Speaker 9 (01:14:48):
Greenie?
Speaker 10 (01:14:48):
Try to try to do that on Thursday with these gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
I can't. I can't do that.
Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
I can't do the Patriots. That Will has been on
the Patriots. If I were to go and have a
take like that's served up perfectly.
Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
The smartest sand he picked up a Bay over the weekend.
Speaker 10 (01:15:01):
I did as best team in the NFL. No, No,
we're doing two different things. Fan, as far as I
would say could smart fan based Packers smart fan base,
who's smarter than them? As players who played in these.
Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
Stags chefs smart fan base? You don't like that?
Speaker 10 (01:15:17):
I don't what.
Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Do you what?
Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
You are?
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Stupid? Quotographic think chiefs.
Speaker 10 (01:15:25):
I think they're too emotional. I think when you don't
mention Patrick and you're talking like, oh, that's some time,
I guess that's what I'm talking about, like football, IQ,
But that also there's an emotional intelligence that comes with
that too, Like I think their chief stands can get
bent out of shape. I think they can get like
overly they're not like this Colt fans right now aren't
getting But I don't know how to explain it.
Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
It seems like we're talking about two different things that
we will know better than the others. Like you've been
in the media space for much longer to where you
know when fan bases are doing well when they usually don't,
you get more mentioned. Hey, why aren't you talking about
them on your show up I'll get up Good Morning Football?
When you were doing it for us. I'm identifying it
as like the fan bases while you're there and like,
(01:16:08):
to me, there's not a better trained fan base than Indianapolis.
I love that chiefs are arguably the loud for sure,
Packers are.
Speaker 10 (01:16:15):
How to behave how their advantage. That's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 3 (01:16:18):
Packers have like just more of like a prestige about them,
like we they've done it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
It seems like the longest.
Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
Yeah, they've you know, their their head coaches are named
after the trophy.
Speaker 10 (01:16:26):
Literally, so they we miss in their commander. My smartest,
my all time favorite line on up in Adamson, Will
was like, you know, I created the I set the
foundation for the commanders and what they are.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:16:42):
I literally was peeing and my pants laughing.
Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Yeah, are they the I don't think we've ever seen
a man take more credit for football.
Speaker 10 (01:16:49):
You should as well.
Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
You should you should see what Will Compton and Matt
rule of built in Nebraska. By the way, Yeah, it
is beautiful Johnson's but Johnson content are they doing?
Speaker 10 (01:17:03):
Nebraska doing well?
Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Seven and three we're out of It's absolutely incredible what.
Speaker 10 (01:17:09):
We've been building up, Jeremy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Yeah, what we've been building over the last few years
with coach rules, since he's came to talent out of
our playoff folks, we're kind of ninety nine percent out
of it. Well, he's always going to be one percent,
you guys, the playoffs. I don't know, you never know
what I'm just what's happened in college football?
Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
If you have more than two losses, it's like you're
not making.
Speaker 10 (01:17:31):
Oh, I don't know anything about.
Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
Yeah, but the brass is having a good season, having
a good year.
Speaker 10 (01:17:37):
You just like that I call him Jeremy and not Clump.
Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
That isn't unique. I just think.
Speaker 10 (01:17:42):
I didn't notice it because I was too stuck on
him saying clump. And then I was like, humph, your
name is what? And then I thought Augustus Gloop and
then I didn't like that, and then I said, I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
Going to call you augustan iconic character and.
Speaker 10 (01:17:58):
The handleb What you guys made him do this?
Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
They for men's mental health. They bullied me to.
Speaker 11 (01:18:07):
We went in like a little pre production meeting and
they were like, what do you guys want to talk about?
And Taylor made eye contact with me, and I knew
what was coming. He's like, well, Clump, you're gonna you're
gonna save your beard.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
In front of it.
Speaker 10 (01:18:17):
Oll, come guys, do that like we have to shave
your head? Why is that?
Speaker 1 (01:18:20):
Like?
Speaker 10 (01:18:20):
Is it just kind of like the thing? Why tell
me teach me about?
Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
Well, it's November and so if we're going to partner
up with Jillette and focus on men's health and the
whole thing is having a mustache for the month of November.
It's only fitting that everybody who can should have a lot.
Speaker 10 (01:18:35):
Cappy will is in this look, Jeremy looks. Everyone looks
really happy, So I'm for it.
Speaker 11 (01:18:40):
That picture was I didn't see what it looked like
till Taylor took a selfie with me, So that was
the first time.
Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
That's the first time you got to see it. Is
actually funny.
Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
That was this past Friday. You let it a little
event and we had to like speak for a little bit,
and hey, we want you to hit these little points.
So we hit the points and then we brought clump
up and shaved him. That's actually we did that.
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
We shaved it.
Speaker 10 (01:18:58):
You shaved your head. That's what I'm saying. I feel
like boys always do this, like.
Speaker 1 (01:19:03):
That's JP. JP is big on hair.
Speaker 10 (01:19:05):
But does it work? Does it? Tracked?
Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
The boys give to do anything for a good laugh.
That's pretty much. I think that's you gotta shave your head.
You see, a guy doesn't want to shave his head,
a guy doesn't want to shave his beard. You gotta
do it. You have to do it. Just those five
seconds of laughter, we got him.
Speaker 10 (01:19:22):
I know that there's a lesson with the babes equipped like,
I don't think any I'll look at that. Look at that?
Do you miss that a little bit?
Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
There was some freedom, there was a bald face.
Speaker 10 (01:19:35):
Well what was like the best like a metaphor, like
the best comp the best comment you saw on social media?
Like what this was?
Speaker 1 (01:19:42):
Oh man, there's professor X, like put them in the chair.
There's professor X.
Speaker 10 (01:19:47):
Mister clean, mister clean, a great one.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Josh Pate, We do a show with him.
Speaker 10 (01:19:51):
I love Josh. Yeah, Josh Pate, Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
But there's nothing like laying a clean head, bald head
on a pillow at night.
Speaker 10 (01:20:01):
I will take your word for that.
Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
You should try it.
Speaker 10 (01:20:03):
I don't think there's a bet you guys could make
with me that would have that happen.
Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Yeah, I don't think that. I don't think.
Speaker 10 (01:20:13):
You were like I could now definitely wig it up
though no, I have extensions, and so I guess there's that,
but I can't look now we're putting a handlebar mustache
on your Yeah, anything for a good last, anything for
a good last.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
You should be producing the show. Is that he's using
word art.
Speaker 10 (01:20:29):
You guys should do that. You guys need to get
greeny or schefty in on that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
Yeah, we've tried tried poke in a little bit right now,
there's I think they're still they're very professional. Like those
guys are.
Speaker 10 (01:20:42):
I would say, you guys are, do you try to
make me bald right now? On one of these? I will.
Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
Don't go for it.
Speaker 10 (01:20:50):
Let's let's what it looks like.
Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
So you talk about guys, what do girls do? Like
if you guys are I don't know girls bus balls? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:20:58):
Oh man, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
You guys like every way I'm thinking in my head
is like the most inappropriate.
Speaker 10 (01:21:06):
Don't hit that ord, don't do any word that you're thinking.
What a question? I don't know. I think I don't
think women have to, Like you're sitting there do anything.
Speaker 3 (01:21:16):
Oh Janice, you're such a caddy bitch. I bet you
won't do this.
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Okay, I bet you. I will.
Speaker 10 (01:21:24):
Let's make a TikTok like, let's I don't think there
is that you don't.
Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
You guys are sitting there and as you feel free
to re grab the mic if you want as well,
give each other because you're in the car and you're
sitting there and K is like, you bitches won't do.
Speaker 10 (01:21:38):
I don't know there doesn't exist.
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
I'm trying to joke around, have fun.
Speaker 10 (01:21:44):
And you can't know. I don't think that that.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Do you ever say, Janet, you sound like such a pussy?
Speaker 10 (01:21:50):
Why is it Janice and Janet? First of all, Justine?
Why are we doing that? What is Janie and jan
and Justine? We women calling each other out? But I
don't think a woman's like I bet you, like, why
don't you cut your hair into a bob? No, that
doesn't It's just you'd look good with a bob. No,
there's no one's day. No one's like daring anyone to
do that.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
But what if she doesn't look good with a bob?
Speaker 10 (01:22:11):
You tell her?
Speaker 1 (01:22:12):
Do you?
Speaker 10 (01:22:13):
Yes? We were just talking on the way here, and
I was saying I was just saying that, like, would
you like to tell people if something doesn't look good
on them? And I would be so upset if somebody
didn't tell me that something looked bad? And I would,
you know, because some people you can tell that to
some people. You can't.
Speaker 3 (01:22:32):
Goes to the ceylon, all right, she sits there, she's
in it for three hours. She texts you both, Hey,
I'm trying something new. She gets a little bob right,
we got the.
Speaker 10 (01:22:41):
I would never do it without asking. I would never
do it.
Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
Okay, let's just hypothetically Kay makes a decision on her own.
The decision is not good. However, it's a long term Auchi.
Speaker 1 (01:22:54):
How are you? How are you.
Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
Gonna tell Kay? Because she's done the bob there's really
no going back, Like, you can't really fix a bob.
Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
Okay can fix anything.
Speaker 10 (01:23:07):
Karina, Karina, I went Karina. Every Karina would find a
way to say, oh, I really liked your long hair,
don't I don't you miss your long hair? That's how
she would message it to me, And I'd be like,
message fucking received. Yeah, but if you receive a message
too late, what are you gonna do? Then you can't?
Why would you tell me that? Because then it's just
got my feelings?
Speaker 3 (01:23:25):
Yeah, but okay, what about this game?
Speaker 10 (01:23:26):
You just reaffirm. You have to reframe and say, how
would you say it to like your better halves?
Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
To my wife?
Speaker 10 (01:23:33):
Yeah? Would you be like Tailan, I don't like your hair.
You'd say, no, I missed your long hair a little bit.
You'd say, that's how you'd frame it for the feminine.
Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
That's true, right, You're right, because even when I went.
Speaker 10 (01:23:48):
About that, she said that.
Speaker 7 (01:23:53):
So good.
Speaker 10 (01:23:54):
I love you, Yeah, I love you. I miss you
with her do this but like okay, like I yeah,
I can't wait for you to your hair to grow back.
Like it's like a more like affirming yeah, or.
Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
Do you like this outfit? I'll just beg I like
the other one more yeah, and then she'll come up
with the outfit. Okay, I guess. I guess my opinion
doesn't mean ship to you.
Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
No, I'm trying to think because he isn't wrong. I'm
thinking like if Taylor got a haircut or something that
was like really long, she wouldn't tell you.
Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
I think any decision she makes like that, she definitely
comes Hey, what do you think about this with your hair?
Speaker 10 (01:24:24):
Like we knew you were gonna cube all right, she
knew she knew was coming. I remember talking about she.
Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
Did by the way you solid ball.
Speaker 10 (01:24:32):
Doneing me at the oscars, I should have done that.
It would have gotten more play.
Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
That got a statement. That is a state.
Speaker 10 (01:24:41):
What do you mean crazy? Crazy, beautiful crazy gorgon?
Speaker 1 (01:24:45):
No one here is looking like that with a bald head.
Speaker 10 (01:24:48):
We can say that, no will this is we can
take it down now go ahead, Well, all that.
Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
Will tell you how he told his wife. I feel
like we did did what on her show?
Speaker 10 (01:25:01):
I think, how did you? How did you tell her?
Speaker 7 (01:25:04):
She?
Speaker 1 (01:25:04):
Oh, I told her she found out on the internet.
Oh yeah. She was like, hey, you're not going to
shave your head. I gotta sha my head. She's like why.
I was like, I lost a bet.
Speaker 10 (01:25:13):
Do you too have the best wives?
Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
They got to go with the flow of I just feel.
Speaker 10 (01:25:18):
Like they might be I'm looking you guys in the eyes,
they might they might be the ghost of wives.
Speaker 1 (01:25:24):
Yeah. I mean my wife was with me before my
veneers as well, so I don't know if you've ever
seen my old teeth. But yeah, she's she has my respect.
Speaker 10 (01:25:31):
I have not. But I'm saying, like you guys, oh gosh,
you guys you know run around? Oh well those are
your teeth.
Speaker 1 (01:25:39):
Yeah, those are God given.
Speaker 10 (01:25:42):
I like them.
Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
Thank you.
Speaker 10 (01:25:43):
They give you a character.
Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
Everybody don't get your teeth. Your teeth right now?
Speaker 10 (01:25:50):
Give you Do you think that they would have let
you on get up with those chompers or no? Did
getting veneers change your success?
Speaker 1 (01:26:00):
Really?
Speaker 10 (01:26:01):
Why you still would have done this? You would have
started busting.
Speaker 3 (01:26:04):
You know, crazy about this is I've said this so
many times. When he had those teeth, I knew Will.
I was round floor with Will ye. He was talking
about getting vein nears and I was like, bro, your teeth
are fine. And I look back and I'm like, wow,
what was I I must have had a rose colored
glasses on.
Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
Now I'm thinking my old teeth would be better.
Speaker 10 (01:26:23):
Now do you miss them? Almost makes it like the
straight hair.
Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
That. Yeah, but is that a way to live life?
I love a good joke. You will balld with those teeth.
Speaker 3 (01:26:36):
Every reply on Twitter Colts fans, Oh yeah, the Colts
fans would.
Speaker 10 (01:26:42):
Have I fixed my teeth, not the bottom I fixed.
I have two that are fixed that are fake. So
I fixed.
Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
See. Did you uh you like chip them or something
like that?
Speaker 10 (01:26:51):
No, I just didn't have My parents couldn't afford braces,
and so I had gone through like college knowing I
wanted to, but like, no, when I grew up, I
wanted to be on TV, and I'm like, the second
I get a check, it's the first thing I'm doing.
So when I moved to New York from Saint Louis,
there we go. Sorry an izard bush got you when
(01:27:14):
I moved to Saint Louis. It was my first thing
I ever really spent money on. It was it was
I want to don't try to find teeth from back
then I will literally walk off the bus. But I didn't.
They weren't like that bad, but they weren't TV teeth
like it would have probably Taylor. It would have held
me back a little bit because they were like a
little like I had too many teeth in my mouth.
They weren't spaced whatever, So oh see, there we go
(01:27:37):
between you and me. Were great, and so I did.
It was one of the first things and I became
like very close with my dentist. It was like a
lot of painful. I mean getting them was a pain
in the ass. The Veneers like having like do you
guys have like the fake ones?
Speaker 1 (01:27:50):
No.
Speaker 10 (01:27:51):
I did it while I was on TV, so I
would have these like fake ones while these were getting
and I didn't have like money, yeah, but I didn't
have money either, so I was like doing like a
pay as you go, So I was really I remember
like being in Denver covering something for the Broncos and
like them falling out and me being like the fuck
do I do now? And having to go to like
an emergency dentist.
Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
It's crazy.
Speaker 10 (01:28:11):
It's and there's like they're like and it's kind of
like traumatic because you have like these do you like
look at them when they like shave them down.
Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
Oh yeah, there's a photo.
Speaker 10 (01:28:20):
No, I don't want to see it. That's like that's
a little too much. I don't No, I never I
never took a picture when I looked at him, and
I was like, that's aggressive and that's a lot. But
I think they just gave me confidence. And it's just
like an aesthetic thing and and and that's it. So
more power. Look at us with some faked, faked teeth.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
The Veneers pod.
Speaker 10 (01:28:37):
Out here, the Veneers pod yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:39):
The Vindears.
Speaker 3 (01:28:40):
When I had the temporaries, it was like thirty days
and they had to be careful about like biting things
or doing things. I didn't know I grind my teeth
at all until I got yeah, and then you yeah,
and then like all these four or five like come
off and.
Speaker 10 (01:28:52):
You have like all these are takes.
Speaker 3 (01:28:53):
Yeah, oh the top and bottle I want I want
both roads.
Speaker 10 (01:28:57):
You really did it. But it must be nice to
be rich.
Speaker 3 (01:29:00):
That is the tempts like half of them were like
it was like four slots like one, two, Yeah, like
four teeth and those are just pop off and I
like choke on my fake veniers.
Speaker 10 (01:29:13):
For a second, I was literally I promise you add
a tailgate for a Broncos game doing some gig, not
even and I like clicked, I like ate something and
clicked out and like then you're just what do you do?
And I had to go to like an emergency situation.
But now now we're good. Tweaks are great, you guys.
I don't know that it's interesting like my but I
could not wait. It was the first thing on any
(01:29:33):
list of like I need to fix my teeth because
like I believe in myself and I'm going to be
on TV.
Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
When was that? When when did that dream start for
you wanting to be on TV?
Speaker 10 (01:29:42):
Probably I was little. I was like, I can't believe
this is a job. It's so easy to like be
in front of a camera. I can't like, how can
I how can I convince people that this is like
a gig. I wanted to do like E News. I
wanted to be like on a red carpet and I've
I have been there, and I've I've done that, but
sports kind of just like yanked me. I bartended. That
(01:30:03):
was it, you, guys. I bartended and waitressed these like
slow ass happy hours at Willy's Pub and Pool in Columbia,
Missouri and Willie's. Yeah, I loved it Field Willi's Fieldhouse
and I would have like regulars and they'd be watching
sports and I could just I was just interested. I
was interested in like pushing regulars buttons and getting them
drunk in the middle of the day and we would
just like watch sports. And one of my there we go,
(01:30:26):
There's field House, one of my on Broadway there in Como,
one of my regulars was was like there was a
couple of things where like I have to be so honest,
like the energy of sports just push pulled me, like
I had different different people. And then and then Serious
Exem was launching a fantasy sports radio channel and they
were like, you should try out to be the update person,
(01:30:48):
and I was like, no, I think I want to
do entertainment. At that point, I had explained like it
like at that point in life, like twenty twelve ish
twenty eleven, you're like I will do anything to be
on the air, Like I will do anything for airtime.
You were begging people to put because at that point
we didn't you didn't have like YouTube where you're getting
an audience yourself, Like you had to like get somebody
(01:31:08):
to let you on the air. And I would do anything,
So like midnight to six am, I would, I would,
I would do updates on radio, and I would do
updates on sports radio, and I would do anything. And
then I kind of got into it and it kind
of took off from there. So a lot of luck.
But like, really, yeah, that's me covering boxing. Like you
think I knew what I was doing covering boxing in London. No,
(01:31:30):
But was I on a flight with Sugar Ray Leonard
on a private jet traveling from O two back to
New York. I was, And it was crazy. I just
would say I would say yes to anything, anything to
get on the air and get those reps when you look.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
Back, what were a couple of the biggest breaks where
you're like, I'm glad I said yes to that, or
I'm glad I reached out about this conversation or notice something.
Speaker 10 (01:31:51):
Yeah, Yeah, I didn't say no too much, really, no,
I really did. It was like the air was like currency.
Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
It was.
Speaker 10 (01:31:58):
I didn't care what it cost. I didn't care what whatever,
like losing money on it. Like I would do things
for like Bleacher Report that you know, like like anything
that I could do in that. But that's how you
meet like Adam Lufko or Chris Sims or you have
the opportunity to do like to do. I don't. There's
there's nothing I regret as far as airtime, which I
guess I'm blessed to say so. I'm grateful for that
(01:32:19):
my big break. I mean, good Morning Football. But good
Morning Football doesn't happen without a guy, an executive at
NBC Sports hearing me on serious XM Sports Radio because
he's a fantasy football freaking the heyday, the peak of
fantasy football, and he would like drive home back and
home for work on the East Coast. I knew I
(01:32:39):
wanted to be in New York, but I don't know
how I'd get there. And he would listen and be like,
this girl's good, she's great, Like why don't you come
up here and do this sports show with Mike Florio
NBC Sports Network, which was a thing. And I got
to do that, and an executive liked liked me on
the air and pulled me and said we'll give you,
We'll give you this money to come move to New
(01:33:01):
York and do radio updates and that's and I was like,
I'm doing that, did that, lived on couches, fixed my teeth,
and then went and banged on every fucking door at
NBC that I could to like try to get on
TV and eventually did, which is great.
Speaker 1 (01:33:16):
Yeah, how did?
Speaker 10 (01:33:18):
And then somebody at somebody at when I was at
NBC Sports there was a man named Michael Davies, the
guy who did you guys know him at all? He did? Uh? Yeah?
He like he created who wants to be a millionaire
in the US? Like, Hi, just to do that? Did
fs one? Remember that when Regis was on that Katie
Nolan all of that, and he would be at NBC
doing Premier League soccer men and Blazers. They were like
(01:33:41):
the ogs of like, we're going to do our own thing,
content creation and he was like oh really yeah and
so and they would like sell out. They were doing
this stuff before anybody look at that lighting. I wasn't
a diva enough to complain about it. Then look at that,
but that was up in New England. I did a
show for for Boston. I was just saying. I was like,
(01:34:03):
on a yeah, I just tried to like say yes
as much stuff as I could. But he liked me.
And he was this British guy who was like, I
think that we could do a better show or a
great show for for football. What should we do? And
then it became this thing of and that's where that's
how Good Morning Football happened.
Speaker 3 (01:34:20):
Were you like the first domino piece? What Domino piece?
Were you as far as like the four original hosts of.
Speaker 1 (01:34:25):
Good Morning Football?
Speaker 10 (01:34:26):
I think I was the first.
Speaker 1 (01:34:27):
You were the first.
Speaker 3 (01:34:27):
So this British guy comes up to you, He's like, hey,
I think we can do it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:30):
Amazing.
Speaker 10 (01:34:31):
I had known him for a while and it's like,
what does this what does this look like? What does this?
Is it one? Is it two people? Is it three peoplefo?
Is it a morning show? Is it not? And I
was like, Michael, you don't know anything about football. How
are you going to convince NFL proper in media to
let you like create their morning show? And he somehow
did and and and yeah we were really Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:34:56):
I got as where where was Kyle and Peter at
this time?
Speaker 6 (01:35:00):
Mmm?
Speaker 10 (01:35:02):
I think was that Jim Rome being his producer, Jim
Rome's producer Peter. I think it was doing Fox Sideline
and writing and doing stuff for Fox and Nate. Was
that NFL network? I think I think that is our second.
I think that is a photo of maybe our first
week on the show. To look at it's awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:35:25):
What is a giga.
Speaker 10 (01:35:29):
Trigger? Is the tallest man alive?
Speaker 1 (01:35:31):
He's like, true is pretty tall.
Speaker 10 (01:35:33):
Yeah that's fair, but I mean like I feel like
people don't expect Tregar to be that tall, but he's yeah,
he's he's tall. What were you saying?
Speaker 1 (01:35:42):
I was going to say, what is what was your
What was the gig you hated the most?
Speaker 10 (01:35:49):
Probably like radio updates when I write when I moved
to New York? That was? That was just reading that.
How do you guys not get distracted? Do you?
Speaker 1 (01:36:00):
Like? Yes, you do?
Speaker 10 (01:36:01):
Undiagnosed one unlike under.
Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
Medicated shows and sure will just be going the most random.
Speaker 10 (01:36:09):
I'm just like, really, put, I couldn't. I literally could never.
I would be so distracted by that. If I hear
like a crinkle of something in studio, I'm like, I
can hear that Sharon.
Speaker 1 (01:36:18):
Brought something up and it says Peter Schreger is literally
a six or five broad shoulder Chad.
Speaker 10 (01:36:23):
I don't know what I don't know what that means,
but but he is a tall He's a tall drink
of water, that Pater. Sorry, what was the ca the
gig I had? So when I moved to New York,
my job was and I just said yes to anything.
I was like yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, like get
me out of sorry, like out of Saint Louis. I
was just done. I know. I mean I loved it,
but I was I wanted to on.
Speaker 1 (01:36:44):
Yeah, yeah. I like the Cardinals too.
Speaker 10 (01:36:46):
Yeah, like somehow miraculously when they won their World Series
in twenty eleven, David it all. I loved it, but
it wasn't It wasn't like look at that. It wasn't
like what kind of a spray tan? May guys ever
had a spray tan? You have never had.
Speaker 1 (01:37:04):
A spray tann A little sticker on my head, but the.
Speaker 10 (01:37:10):
Palm tree?
Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
What did you pay get ready for the parade?
Speaker 10 (01:37:15):
You? None of your boys have ever had a spray tan.
I'm I'm liar.
Speaker 3 (01:37:20):
My wife does a spray tent at the house.
Speaker 10 (01:37:21):
There's always something and it smells so bad.
Speaker 3 (01:37:24):
It's all that's I'm very tan there. I went into
a tanning bed in Brandenton, Florida, and it was a
handful of Trent Murphy, like all of us are like, hey,
it's dead a winner.
Speaker 10 (01:37:35):
Then I would be in the tanning bed every day
at Missoo. Gary Pinkel used to use the place, but
I used to go, yeah to to get my talent.
God that was like I could not have made dumber decisions.
But anyway, so I moved to UH. When I moved
to New York, it was like, go to this booth
this like imagine like a little voiceover booth from five
(01:37:58):
to ten pm in the Times Square of all places,
which is like a hell escape anyway, and I'd go
and i'd be by myself and do these radio updates
like every thirty minutes, like here's the scores, here's what's
going on, and I would just fuck, I don't know
what I was doing, so it would be and I
don't really have There wasn't like someone there to produce
for me. So I would just write up these and
they had to be It's kind of hard to say,
(01:38:19):
like you have thirty seconds to spit all this stuff
out and it wasn't. It wasn't it was any NBC
Sports Radio was my gig, and I would just I
would say, like Patrick Boy instead of Patrick Waugh. I
would say like a dumb no, like I would really
f up like I would, and then yeah, why what's
that one?
Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
Jordan Myava is a quarterback for USC and I was
like Jaden my Ava, right, my gosh, And I was
like on our gambling college show, like god, Jordan, he's
only got four interceptions this year?
Speaker 1 (01:38:51):
What Everyone's like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 10 (01:38:53):
So that wasn't my favorite gig because it was like reporting,
it was legit, like and the score of the end,
that's not me. Yeah, really broadcasting, which was never really
my vibe. But then like Serious XM I loved because
I got that was my first, my first thing I
got to do. I had a show called Live in
the Fantasy and it was Sunday, and I got to
give credit to Serious XM Fantasy Sports Radio for letting
(01:39:16):
me do that, Like who the fuck let's I don't?
And I just I did, And I give a lot
of credit like Matt Deutsch and Steve Cohen and the
guys are running Serious XM sports thing because they were like,
you're good enough to carry your own thing, do this
on Sunday nights. And I'd be at serious XM with like,
you know whatever, that's like a wild a wild world.
But look, look, pull up that picture bigger. I look
(01:39:38):
like I'm twelve years old, just fired up to be there,
fired up to be there. And I would just and
we did, you know, like.
Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
Yo, you're good enough to carry the show. You got it?
Speaker 10 (01:39:47):
Yeah, they let me do it, and I look, I
almost didn't. When you talk about like betting on myself,
I almost didn't get it. I was like, I didn't
get that I was getting to do this really cool shit,
which I'm really grateful for.
Speaker 1 (01:39:56):
Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 3 (01:39:57):
This might be a dumb question, but we've fly every week,
we fly to New York and we go there, we
immediately go to sleep, and we walk literally one block
to go to get up. Okay, And every time I
walk in there, I'm like, bro, how do people how
do people live here full.
Speaker 1 (01:40:11):
Time and dying to get there? What is? How do
you not just get lost in the sauce out there?
Speaker 10 (01:40:16):
I went there when I was fifteen, and I like
fell in love and I think I really did manifest it.
Like I was like, I'm going to end up here.
I mean I remember I like, I like created a
breakup with my boyfriend at the time in Saint Louis
because I knew in the back of this extension filled head,
I knew that he was going to want to like
stay there Saint Louis and all of that, and I
(01:40:39):
was like, oh no, I want I want to be
the little fish like he and I knew it, and
I was like, I'm just gonna cut you know, We're
going to figure this out. And I love that. I
love you know what you're doing with all of this.
I knew I just wanted to be part of that.
I just the energy of it and the convenience. I
didn't like driving. I didn't learn how to. I grew
up in Chicago. I don't have a license, like I
(01:41:00):
don't want, you know, going to Missouri was a huge
change up for me. Columbia especially, I wanted. I wanted
the big city. Now it's interesting because I'm in LA
and I'm like, oh, I hate LA. But now I'm
used to it. Now I'm like, oh fuck, yeah, nice weather, you.
Speaker 1 (01:41:16):
New York space.
Speaker 10 (01:41:17):
I think I really am in the point where I
like visiting New York. I think I need to work
on like what where I want to have roots though,
you guys, I don't have. I mean, I'm not married,
I don't have like kids. I'm trying to figure out,
like there's a benefit to like being able to do
whatever you want, but also like you do want roots somewhere.
You want to figure out where that is. I don't
think that that's New York right now for me. I
(01:41:39):
don't know. It's a good question.
Speaker 1 (01:41:41):
The big city life just not for your boy.
Speaker 10 (01:41:43):
You guys don't like it.
Speaker 1 (01:41:44):
No so that I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (01:41:46):
I just it's something I've never I grew up in
k Arizona, and then I went to Michigan and then
this is the biggest city I've ever lived in Nashville,
which is like it feels like a small town.
Speaker 10 (01:41:56):
Yeah, it's getting a little really Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:41:59):
When I first got there, I was like, oh shit,
And everybody's like the same as city.
Speaker 10 (01:42:03):
A lot of people were out here, So when you
were with the Commanders, you weren't like going up to
New York. Anytime you could say I would know if
I was like an Esla trip. I'd get to Philly,
I'd cry. I would want to be in a big city.
Speaker 1 (01:42:15):
I liked that anytime I had to go visit. Uh
my wife, back when she was my girlfriend, she lived
off like fourteenth fourteenth in u U Stream, DC. I
just hated it. Driving the truck up there, going to
park it.
Speaker 3 (01:42:28):
I'm like parking a truck in the city.
Speaker 10 (01:42:32):
I never I never drove in New York.
Speaker 1 (01:42:34):
Pull the third photo right there. So this is run
from my hair.
Speaker 10 (01:42:38):
Care Frickople, tell me, tell me the best meal there?
Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
Uh best.
Speaker 3 (01:42:44):
There's a place, okay kind of So there's a place
called the Satisfied Frog.
Speaker 1 (01:42:49):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
There was a couple that was married. I used to
be like this old like Western that looks like.
Speaker 10 (01:42:53):
If you were to create like an AI image of
a small.
Speaker 1 (01:42:57):
Oh yeah, cute town.
Speaker 3 (01:42:58):
So this couple started the Satisfied Frog. They get divorced,
the wife takes the divorce money and opens up a
restaurant across the street called the Horny Toad.
Speaker 10 (01:43:07):
Yeah, that place has got the best Horney Toad. I
feel like it is something in the Ozarks.
Speaker 1 (01:43:12):
Yes, yes to the Horny.
Speaker 10 (01:43:15):
Toad in the Ozarks. Yeah, I think that there.
Speaker 1 (01:43:20):
Yeah, Yeah, there is.
Speaker 10 (01:43:21):
Yeah, there's a shady Gators is another one there connected
the Ozark. This is this is giving Branson slash Ozarks
to me.
Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
Yeah, how far is Ozarks for where we all grew up?
Because I know, like I know, like two two and
a half hours.
Speaker 10 (01:43:35):
I grew up in Chicago, but I went to when
I went to Missoo, I would say it was like
three hour drive and it was that that that.
Speaker 1 (01:43:41):
Was like in the summertime, that's where you go.
Speaker 10 (01:43:43):
I could not believe that we'd go in the winter
sometimes too. The Lake of the Ozarks is I know,
like Ozark has given it a different vibe, but like
there was nothing like pulling your boat into one of
those docks and dog party. The fact that I mean,
I think I don't get colds and the flu or
anything because I survived party. Oh, It's like you can
(01:44:06):
make it here. You can make it anywhere. I told
you and im immunologists should do. I think I have
built up all of my things by spending weekends at party. Go.
Speaker 1 (01:44:16):
Yeah, before we pulled our webody.
Speaker 10 (01:44:24):
Never you need to bring put the bus on a
freaking boat.
Speaker 1 (01:44:27):
Delaney him going to Central Missouri, like he talked about
how much they would go down to lakes. But I
remember tying up once another boat and somebody's like, yeah,
boy died yesterday or like what what happened. They're like,
he uh from the water, like going under he got
trapped under a boat. You're drunk. You're celebrating him his life. Yeah,
(01:44:48):
like and then one of his another Frank came over
was like, yeah, his truck still parked in my house.
He died yesterday. Yeah, he has a weird vibe. We
were on My boys batcheer party, John John Wigger. He
had a full chest to hear and shaved it into
a tuxedo, big shirm vibes. Yeah, yeah, shaved it into
(01:45:09):
a tuxedo. The O.
Speaker 10 (01:45:11):
This was it. It's like truly like it looks like
so much fun redneck but going to like even Vegas,
like you're like like Lake of the Ozarks is truly
a one of one. Was I don't know how it
is now was a one of one experience.
Speaker 1 (01:45:24):
Sounds like you guys need to go back Vegas on
the water man, Vegas on the water.
Speaker 10 (01:45:29):
Well, do you still get after it? Like do you
like hang party like this like I would? Just this
is I would never I would never now do anything
like this. Yeah, that's a little while one.
Speaker 3 (01:45:38):

Let's get back to this episode thing. What's one thing
from your like college days that you wish you could
have just like one more day of so like the
(01:47:04):
like the that's out of the question.
Speaker 1 (01:47:06):
You don't want that?
Speaker 10 (01:47:08):
Well, is that you.
Speaker 1 (01:47:10):
Nebraska more days? Yeah? I got to get in there.
Speaker 10 (01:47:15):
I think college was like stressful for me, Like I uh,
I was always worried about money. I was always worried
about being evicted. I was always worried about Thanks thank
you sir. Yeah, I feel like it was. I don't know,
I don't know what day i'd have back, maybe like
(01:47:35):
a a not a day. I wish I could have
had a day where I like went to a game
and really just enjoyed it. Like I didn't go to
football games like I just I had to work. That
that was like you could make like two grand on
the football Saturday Willie's pubpen pool like that was like books,
tuition like all of that. So I don't know that
I really had. Yeah I didn't. I didn't. I didn't
have this. No, I think I might have gone to
(01:47:57):
one freshman year. But I got to say, like, like
you guys prepared me for Notre Dame. I liked it,
but I can't. You have to almost grow up in
it to appreciate it. What over what?
Speaker 1 (01:48:09):
I just think, like the talent, like the like but
the game.
Speaker 10 (01:48:13):
But the game was a game.
Speaker 1 (01:48:14):
I thought.
Speaker 10 (01:48:15):
I went to the game.
Speaker 1 (01:48:17):
You don't like the linebacker.
Speaker 3 (01:48:18):
No, I think the linebackers the game. No, you don't
like Notre Dame. Not a huge fan like Notre Dame
to me is like the college is beautiful, the stadium
is beautiful. Other than the linebacker. It's like what we
got going on around here.
Speaker 10 (01:48:35):
You would drive to Chicago. I would drive like I
remember being in being very having no money and being
a Columbia Missouri and I would drive to Chicago. I
would drive to like Saint Louis all of the time,
like Marty Graus, like I would just want to get
out of where I was a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
You just constantly wanted to just.
Speaker 10 (01:48:53):
Move around, never really get Yeah that ship, what do you?
Speaker 1 (01:48:59):
What do you run?
Speaker 10 (01:49:00):
Why do I know?
Speaker 1 (01:49:01):
Why?
Speaker 10 (01:49:01):
I know me so well? I don't know. I think
less now now I'm looking now I'm looking for like
where should I be Now? I'm like, I'm a different
I'm at a different place, Like New York isn't doing
it for me anymore? Right, Like I need to like
I'm ready. I think I'm ready to like.
Speaker 1 (01:49:17):
Sets all roots help down, ready to settle that?
Speaker 10 (01:49:20):
So yeah, I think I am.
Speaker 1 (01:49:22):
Do you think?
Speaker 10 (01:49:23):
Are you a great gang?
Speaker 1 (01:49:24):
Are you Facebook official? Anybody Facebook?
Speaker 10 (01:49:28):
I don't think I'm on Facebook? Am I am? I like?
Speaker 1 (01:49:30):
Am?
Speaker 10 (01:49:30):
I like? Hemmed up?
Speaker 1 (01:49:31):
What's your profile?
Speaker 10 (01:49:33):
I love? Probably it's probably like some County Crow song
from twenty two thousand and eight. I don't know, but
it's probably like I used MySpace as like warfare against
whichever boy was in my life at the moment, Like
I would literally like change my song up or change
just to like get to them send a message. I
was very much Oh yeah, I was like nuking, But
(01:49:56):
it was always about a boy though it was always
about like watch, I'm going to put this guy in
my or like I'm going to send this cryptic you know,
Matchbox twenty song. We're going to see what you think
about that. It was kind of messy, no idea. Oh yeah,
there we go.
Speaker 3 (01:50:12):
My space was the best social media of all time.
Speaker 10 (01:50:15):
Most things I worry about. Oh, Tom Petty, look at me?
How cool was I? I don't know who's logging in
that that last log and that's definitely not me. The
dude from the Big Lebowska You're like, so cool? Okay,
you're so cool. Chocolate peanut butter that tracks that tracks. No,
I'm not, as you can see in my mice the fray?
Are you guys joking? Is that really what it is?
(01:50:36):
The free how to save a life? This is They're
like touring right now, which I love. No, I'm not
hemmed up. What do you think about that? Will?
Speaker 1 (01:50:49):
From what I'm sitting here listening to you, you know,
I could be ready to settle down. I'm in a
good place for it seems like a big holiday season.
Speaker 10 (01:50:58):
Oh, like a cuff cuffing Season'd be like, there's there's
a coughing season.
Speaker 1 (01:51:02):
It's cuffing season. I don't know how else to explain it.
Cuffing season. You get to the winter times, you want
to get cuff. You want to it's superlidays. You want everybody, Yeah, somebody,
What are you doing? I'm staying in with the standing
in with.
Speaker 3 (01:51:17):
The girls, the fireplace, running, watching a couple of movies,
some hot coco. All the fixing is on top of
that thing.
Speaker 10 (01:51:22):
All of it. It's a good time.
Speaker 3 (01:51:24):
Cold on the winter months, you know, as a period
of win it is especially desirable to enter into romantic relationship.
Cuffing season.
Speaker 10 (01:51:31):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (01:51:32):
Why do you think right now is your time? Is it? Because?
Speaker 3 (01:51:36):
Is it because you've been so like career focused my
entire life, and now you've realized, hey, I've had so
much success. Now I want somebody to share it with you.
Speaker 10 (01:51:45):
I think I don't haven't known what I've wanted super
much like I think that I'm always in survival mode
of like, what's what's next? How am I going to survive?
In advance? That's just been like that's a life thing
we love, And now I feel I do. I feel
like I'm like, I'm very happy with where i am.
I'm settled. I'm a little more calm, like I feel
(01:52:06):
like a little more able to be there for someone else,
Like I feel like that's where where I am. So yeah,
it's Dating's funny though, you know, ideal.
Speaker 1 (01:52:18):
What is your ideal first date?
Speaker 10 (01:52:19):
I just want everybody, anybody that might be watching, to
know that I like very much like I'm just having
a good time right now.
Speaker 1 (01:52:32):
He's just having fun.
Speaker 10 (01:52:33):
I'm just boy.
Speaker 3 (01:52:35):
Okay, So what is your ideal first date? A cozy
dinner at a local restaurant, an adventurous outing like hiking,
gosh like hiking or biking, a concert or live show,
a night in with movies and popcorn.
Speaker 10 (01:52:47):
The truth is I have realized that I have very
little experience dating will like I I feel like and
I give like, No, it's not even that I am
a reallyationship girl. And by the time that you are
so persistent that I'm on the first date with you,
we're already in love. You're my boyfriend, and we are
(01:53:08):
just consummating, not physically, but consummating like this works. Like
I am not somebody that the first.
Speaker 1 (01:53:14):
Date is a DTR you're defined in the relationship.
Speaker 10 (01:53:18):
It's very I've noticed this, like that I've been in
many serious not many, but I've been in all my relationships.
It's like the first dates, just like yep, now it begins.
I don't I've been on so and so few first dates,
Like very recently have I been on like first dates
where I'm like, oh, this is what you do, and
(01:53:38):
like I don't know you and now we're going to
like get to know each other and like it. I'm
not into that. So that said, I don't have much experience,
but I would say it's got to be a dinner.
I love a cozy dinner. It should be romantic, it
should be planned entirely by the man. This is generally
speaking on like a first date a man a man,
(01:54:03):
but I paid. In relationships, I like to like contribute,
which probably isn't great. I need to like relax on
that because I want like a manly man.
Speaker 1 (01:54:11):
But I'm very extremely successful.
Speaker 10 (01:54:13):
I'm very quick to be like I got it up whatever.
But first date they have, they have to pay, right.
Speaker 1 (01:54:18):
Yeah, I don't even.
Speaker 10 (01:54:19):
Know what that would be like to have someone. Yeah,
that's what I guess what I'm saying. I'm I'm so
hard to get out that if I was ever, I
can't even put myself in that situation where somebody would
be like, want to split this? Like I would die
that said. Men dupe me onto dates all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:54:35):
Doupe you onto dates. However you don't do.
Speaker 10 (01:54:37):
Dates, meaning like a guy will be like, you know,
I've got this, we should we should meet up for lunch,
and like, I get convinced under the guise of like
a work thing or like an opportunity or whatever, and
then I'm like, why are we at the World series?
How did that? Like you know, like that kind of
a thing where it's like, am I did I get
Does this happen to me?
Speaker 7 (01:54:57):
A bit?
Speaker 10 (01:54:58):
I get tricked one casts like I'll get.
Speaker 1 (01:55:00):
Like tricked down and it's a date where it's like is.
Speaker 10 (01:55:02):
There a chance? And then I'm like and then I'm like,
oh no, did this happen? And then that's kind of weird,
But yeah, cozy dinner. Nothing which trait is.
Speaker 1 (01:55:09):
Most important to you in a partner? Kindness and compassion,
excitements and spotan eighty, intelligence and wit, loyalty and reliability.
Speaker 10 (01:55:17):
The last two.
Speaker 1 (01:55:20):
Got to pick one.
Speaker 10 (01:55:21):
Oh okay, well I can't. I can't do the Taylor
la Want answer.
Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
Of picking multiples on this show. Maybe show on the show.
Speaker 10 (01:55:28):
Okay, I will say attraction wise, like on the first
date kind of thing would be intelligence and wit, but
there's nothing better than banter, and I have it with
so few people. But I would say the loyalty I
need to I need to feel secure. I need someone
who makes me feel secure. So loyalties more important than anything.
And I am a very loyal person. I am that,
So loyalty. Okay, let's let's keep going. I can't believe
(01:55:51):
this is what was happening right now.
Speaker 3 (01:55:53):
What hobby would like your partner to have? Volunteering or
community service, extreme sports or outdoor activities, or playing music,
cooking or gardening.
Speaker 10 (01:56:02):
Not cooking or gardening, volunteering your community. What hobby? I
would say reading or playing music? Okay if I yeah,
the person I've loved most in my life ever that
I thought i'd marry did both of those things and
I loved them.
Speaker 1 (01:56:15):
So those yeah, listening right, Yeah, that kind of ecation
appeals to you most. The relaxing beach, an adventure packed
road trip, a cultural trip filled with museum visits, a
staycation exploring your own city.
Speaker 10 (01:56:30):
I will say relaxing beach holiday that's just the vibe.
I could do all of that, but I like that
I do explore. I think, like also really important to
me is like food, Like if you like where I
don't like somebody who's like, I don't care where we eat,
let's just go to and I'm like, no, I need
to need to find the best place that's got the
best vibe. If we're in the city, I want to
eat like the best like today, I want to go
(01:56:52):
to the best place in Nashville tonight. Like matters to
me to like have life is Look, that's an important
experience immer culture. Yes, that's important. Somebody who's like, let's
just say the four seasons and like at the restaurant
here when you're in the middle of like Italy, I'm like,
what do you mean, what do you mean let's go
to some old Italian woman's kitchen and make yoki.
Speaker 1 (01:57:10):
You know how I can understand that.
Speaker 10 (01:57:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:57:13):
I definitely am the guy that's like convenient, Like we're here,
do a couple of nice meals somewhere for on a vacation. Hey,
let's go to this spot in this But.
Speaker 10 (01:57:23):
If you're for seven days, it's like, where can we go?
Where what's anywhere? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I do like
all right.
Speaker 3 (01:57:34):
How do you prefer to communicate communicate your feelings through
thoughtful gifts and actions, with grand romantic gestures, through deep
and meaningful conversations, by spending quality time together. How do
you prefer to communicate.
Speaker 10 (01:57:48):
Your Which one falls under direct and honest most so
not romantic, thoughtful? I am like.
Speaker 1 (01:57:58):
Conversations.
Speaker 10 (01:57:59):
Yeah, let's do that.
Speaker 1 (01:58:00):
Probably one of the bottom two.
Speaker 10 (01:58:01):
Yeah, that's perfect.
Speaker 1 (01:58:03):
What must have quality questions are there? We can capt it.
Speaker 10 (01:58:07):
We're going to talk about at this point. Okay, let's
buzz do these.
Speaker 1 (01:58:12):
What must have quality? Should your partner possess a caring
and nurturing nature, A daring and fearless spirit, A great
sense of humor, A strong sense of commitment.
Speaker 10 (01:58:22):
Oh my gosh, a carrying and nurturing nature, daring and fearless. No, no, no,
oh gosh. See I get baited by the sense of
humor because that just shows intelligence and that but that's
not important. Strong sense of commitment boom, somebody who's self disciplined.
Speaker 3 (01:58:36):
What kind of movies do you enjoy watching together? Romantic comedies,
action and adventure documentaries, or intellectual thrillers.
Speaker 10 (01:58:42):
I don't watch any movie or drama.
Speaker 1 (01:58:44):
Not a movie's gal.
Speaker 10 (01:58:45):
No, not, I'm weird. Documentaries. I like to documentaries.
Speaker 1 (01:58:52):
Right, Which of these is a deal breaker for you?
Insensitivity to others feelings, a lack of ambition or drive,
a poor sense of humor or unreliability or unpredictability.
Speaker 10 (01:59:03):
Attracted to unpredictability, I shouldn't be what I am. I
don't know what you got.
Speaker 1 (01:59:08):
A deal breaker? I would say a lack of ambition
or drive.
Speaker 3 (01:59:11):
Yeah, it sounds like all the things you've said.
Speaker 10 (01:59:13):
Yeah, structure successful, Yeah, sure.
Speaker 3 (01:59:18):
During a disagreement, you value a partner who can listen
and show empathy, keep things light and find a quick solution,
Offer logical reasons and discuss facts. Stay calm and committed
to resolving the conflict.
Speaker 10 (01:59:30):
Last one, stay calm and committed to resolving the content.
Speaker 1 (01:59:34):
How are you in arguments?
Speaker 10 (01:59:36):
Direct, honest, confrontational? And people don't like that all.
Speaker 3 (01:59:41):
The things you're asking for in a man, It seems
like the hardest tool for a guy to have is
what you're asking for right there? What having the tool
to be able to sit in the batter's box. A
lot of guys that's like a learned skill.
Speaker 1 (01:59:51):
You think, I believe. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:59:54):
Guys either have or think when I listened to my
wife's friends myself at some points in my life, iiculty
of like, Okay, there's a conflict. I want to kind
of back away from this and let it breathe for
a little bit and running.
Speaker 10 (02:00:08):
See what you're saying. But but but I'm sure you're
like I need a minute or like whatever. I just
think like the courage to like have a tough conversation,
have a tough convert Like can we get to the
other side of a tough conversation that would be like
that's important.
Speaker 1 (02:00:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:00:23):
I feel like guys are like to be hey, it's
all good, and it's like, well, it's really.
Speaker 1 (02:00:28):
Not all good.
Speaker 3 (02:00:29):
We haven't finished the conversation, but like, no, no, that's fine.
Speaker 10 (02:00:31):
But I think women are really good at like all right,
that's just what it is. And I'm like to maybe
like insecure for that. I'm like, let's hash it out,
like I want to talk about it to death.
Speaker 1 (02:00:41):
What role do you see for your partner in your life?
A supportive best friend, an exciting life companion, intellectual equal,
or a stable, independent partner.
Speaker 10 (02:00:51):
A stable, independable partner. This is really yeah. Okay, oh
my gosh, what are we have to put in an email?
Speaker 1 (02:01:01):
You got? Loyalty matters most. You crave loyalty and stability
in a relationship. A dependable partner who honors their commitments
is your ideal match. They provide a safe space for
love to thrive. Making trust and mutual respect the cornerstones
of your lasting bond.
Speaker 10 (02:01:17):
Yeah, somebody who's available, somebody who's Yeah that that works out?
So who is that? Who is that?
Speaker 1 (02:01:23):
I know? Being holiday season coming up, coffin season season,
coffing season. You probably you're in the wrong city. There's
wrong that's.
Speaker 10 (02:01:32):
Like, Yeah, I'm in the right city right now. I'm good.
I'm good, Like I'm right now. Yeah, I'm in a
good I'm in a good place.
Speaker 1 (02:01:40):
Yeah. The easter eggs, the easter eggs are in there.
Speaker 10 (02:01:46):
Do you know things that I don't know that you know?
Speaker 1 (02:01:49):
Possibly?
Speaker 10 (02:01:50):
What is this?
Speaker 3 (02:01:51):
There's a lot, there's a lot that's taking place that
Will has opened me up to your life.
Speaker 10 (02:01:54):
Will truly, like I feel like you know more than anyway.
We'll talk later. Dable Sable's watching and he's like, are
you guys ever gonna get to me in this situation.
Speaker 3 (02:02:06):
I'm already on record on the show before you came
on with they fired him.
Speaker 1 (02:02:12):
Like when they did, I think, if he's not the guy,
I totally get that. Like his resume again, we were
talking about blowing the fourth quarter leads and your defense
not playing up like Dable in the first year was
known as like a culture guy. Even when you lose
these guys like Jackson, Dark Camp, Scataboo, you know, Molik Neighbors,
just being up by ten or plus in the fourth quarter,
(02:02:33):
blowing the leads, Yes, defensively, culture wins are gonna still
would still happen. They'd still get you.
Speaker 10 (02:02:39):
It's still want you need the head coach that's gonna
somehow in part onto Jackson that he needs to protect
himself lack of recklessness. So I think, like even just
after yesterday, like you don't want to watch Jackson get
put out like that, I think that might have to
do something to do with the timing of it. I'm
guessing I like the cough get a chance here because
(02:03:01):
when they did have neighbors in Scataboo, like he's Jackson
looked good out there. Those things are great that we've seen.
So I'm like, I'm my dream is that they bring
in like a heart, like a ten year coach, not
one of these, Like you know, Joe Brady's interesting. He's
the bell of the ball though, But like, what if
you kept Kafka interim? Fine, keep him as the OC
(02:03:22):
so you don't like completely screw Jackson over. As far
as some continuity for next year, what if you bring
in like a lu An Arumo.
Speaker 1 (02:03:30):
Just saying pull him up? Sure?
Speaker 10 (02:03:32):
What about with lou It's like did is I know
from my closeness to the Bengals players love him and
now look what he's doing. You know, like you get
a good thing around him. He can lead, he can
lead men. I believe that. I happen to know that.
And then so if you have so if you keep Kafka,
let's say Kofka does a great job the rest of
(02:03:53):
the way. Just as far as being a wizard, you
bring in a loud to run the thing. He's I
think he's from New York. Oh yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (02:04:00):
Think it looks like you can do hand.
Speaker 10 (02:04:04):
You could do the Joe Brady thing. I don't know
if you'll, if you'll be available we'll have to see,
But I like this kind of a keep Kafka there.
So you've got some stability and an offensive hopefully wizard
because he did look good with them. And then you
bring in just a little bit of new blood, a
guy who hasn't gotten a shot, defensive minded.
Speaker 1 (02:04:22):
In their careers. Who uh the o C for the
Giants currently and.
Speaker 10 (02:04:27):
Your boy No, I don't think so that's fair. That's kind,
but i'd like to see. Yeah, that's fair, but who
else would you put? It's very interesting, like they aren't
like the sexiest candidates for these.
Speaker 1 (02:04:37):
Do you go Koubiak Seattle, Michael from the Rams?
Speaker 10 (02:04:43):
Sure, yeah, if you want your offensive, which I guess
you do want with I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:04:52):
So mitches brought up Kevin.
Speaker 10 (02:04:53):
Much about Mikevin Shepard, he's a maniac.
Speaker 1 (02:04:58):
He's a maniac like defensive. But again, it's like the
trends you see. I feel like in the NFL, is
you want such good alignment with your head coach, your quarterback,
and offensive minded guy, especially if you have a young
developmental guy.
Speaker 10 (02:05:10):
He's gonna get great interviews. Though I love him and
this team loves him. They play from I guess That's
what I'm looking for with the Giants. Like that about
offense makes sense with what's going on, but like, why
is your defense not?
Speaker 1 (02:05:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (02:05:21):
Look, I want to see and I think that is
like giantcy football. And I wouldn't mind seeing a defensive
minded coach. I wouldn't I.
Speaker 1 (02:05:29):
Wouldn't mind Kelvin Sheppard going down to l s U.
Speaker 10 (02:05:32):
Oh really, ls Hu's job.
Speaker 1 (02:05:34):
That's a job opening in college.
Speaker 10 (02:05:36):
Thank you for telling me. I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (02:05:38):
Joe Brady was in OC and Joey b.
Speaker 10 (02:05:41):
He's gonna get broke off on that. Joe Brady, Yeah.
I talk to James Cook about him this past week
about keeping him there. I think they all kind of
know he's gone.
Speaker 1 (02:05:50):
What are some of your favorite players to interview?
Speaker 10 (02:05:54):
Oh? I love a Jordan Love interview. We just had
him on every time. He's just very He's very good
at walking the line of not saying anything as a
quarterback should, but will always be pretty honest. I've had
a lot of fun with Jordan Love on the show.
I don't know what to make up this Packers team,
but they're not as consistent on the field as he
(02:06:14):
is an interviews. He's super fun. I'm trying to think
who else is super fun? When you guys come on?
Tesz Johnson star. Oh, probably my favorite interview and I
didn't do it. Yeah, he's right there. It was at
the Panini Rookie premiere and I had no idea. And
he's my size. We have a guess what's going on?
(02:06:37):
Oh he's Jesus, he's so How long can go by
before you like? How long can how much time can
go by before you need one of those?
Speaker 1 (02:06:50):
Well, sometimes it's just for sport.
Speaker 3 (02:06:51):
I took it out like twenty thirty minutes ago and
there was a netche starting.
Speaker 10 (02:06:56):
How did you take it out where I didn't notice?
How do you take it out without.
Speaker 1 (02:06:59):
Me to use my tongue windshield wiping? And then you
just like spit into something.
Speaker 3 (02:07:03):
There's nothing glamorous about it. Kay, Sometimes you just gotta
get where the getting is good.
Speaker 10 (02:07:08):
This kid's great though, he's a star. He's just thing
yesterday bucks. I don't know what you know. Are we
out on the books? I don't know, but the no, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:07:16):
They gotta get they have a favorable division. Yeah, they
can get healthy. They can get their guys back.
Speaker 10 (02:07:23):
The buy back guys Patriots are your boy rapes.
Speaker 1 (02:07:26):
I know it's it's actually I don't know.
Speaker 10 (02:07:29):
I don't understand how the defense looks so freaking good
that again, I don't have.
Speaker 1 (02:07:33):
A lot of defense in the NFL.
Speaker 10 (02:07:36):
But what is it that he I don't I don't
know him. I don't know that I know will coach
less than him. Tell me, like, what is the how
how is he doing this and why he should be
And by the way, if you're a fan of sports
Book Coach of the Year, it's like between him and
Stich and I think clear number one right now in
the Fandel No is he really?
Speaker 1 (02:07:56):
Oh but Stike and also put together health.
Speaker 10 (02:07:59):
Yeah. But and I was thinking about this on the
show this morning. No, like that they're rebuilding. He's doing
this with this record and this while they're rebuilding, Whereas
like Colts were like we're going, we're here, we're ready
to go, like we're we've got the I think the.
Speaker 1 (02:08:16):
Cult saw us saying we're going for this show.
Speaker 10 (02:08:18):
Yeah, they're doing this. Well, they didn't add anybody because
they're like, well, hold on, like we're rebuilding for them
to be, for them to be, And it's so I
mean this I wouldn't say that. I was like super
I was excited for them, but not super convinced because
they've got some weird losses and like, you know, they
got to win over the Bills and it was whatever.
But as after this thing against the Bucks, you've got
to just give it to Rabel. You've got to give
(02:08:40):
it to Rabel Oversicha.
Speaker 1 (02:08:41):
Yeah, and they are positioned right now as far as
first in the division. I mean, their schedule, you know,
a big pushback when you're talking about Patriots being one
of the best teams in the NFL. Everybody talks about
their schedule and everything else. But they are. They're as
favorable as anybody to win the AFC East, especially.
Speaker 3 (02:08:59):
After the bill Is just dropped the deuce against the Dolphins.
Speaker 1 (02:09:02):
That was crazy.
Speaker 10 (02:09:03):
But do we throw that a week because Miami is
such a weird place to play.
Speaker 3 (02:09:06):
Do you throw the Falcons game away? They have the
Falcons and they go on.
Speaker 1 (02:09:11):
To buy Yeah, He's like, yeah, yeah, we're about the
Falcon right, because I'm with you.
Speaker 3 (02:09:21):
In the year I picked the Bills to like be like,
this is the year Josh Allen gets over the humpy
finally gets his first Super Bowl.
Speaker 10 (02:09:27):
Do you feel like it's not though I know, are
they going to have a Bills Cheaps wild card weekend?
Speaker 1 (02:09:33):
Very?
Speaker 10 (02:09:34):
I think I think that will we could will we
couldn't have that, it could like what and then huh
that might be a thing.
Speaker 3 (02:09:42):
You're absolutely right, that would be in I think the
Patriots after this past weekend, like their their schedules so favorable.
They're going to win the a f C East. The Patriots,
like I didn't like them.
Speaker 1 (02:09:54):
They don't keep the.
Speaker 3 (02:09:54):
Same trend they're doing right now. Drake Drake Bay doesn't
change a thing.
Speaker 10 (02:09:57):
They will win the a FC East, Okay, but then
what happens is like what do you what's what's up
fair with them? Expectation wise?
Speaker 1 (02:10:03):
Oh, you pull the schedule.
Speaker 10 (02:10:05):
I know I'm talking about like playoffs. Like let's say
I'm they go to the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (02:10:09):
So if you get the Bills and Chiefs wild card,
one of them is going to knock off the other.
Speaker 1 (02:10:15):
And dude, this is one where it's like you're you're
sitting there and you you you could possibly give a take,
but you just don't know what to say.
Speaker 10 (02:10:23):
Well, yesterday we saw against a great team, the Drake
made like a very I'm a second year quarterback, play
right decision like he made some I don't think Patrick
and Josh are making those, but it's to be expected.
Like he's not gonna be perfect. He's young because he's
they're rebuilding and they're younger. I'm I'm into their run game,
(02:10:46):
which I wasn't into before, Like them giving Henderson the
ball like this, there's a home run hitter. Yeah, them
doing this now, I'm like, oh, I'm I like this.
And then like Diggs, I want Digs deep in the
playoffs because like he's always just going to show up
for that magic play and he did it with that
on side yesterday, Like he's just so they've got these
(02:11:07):
Kyle Will They've they've got it going on. But it's
like when you get into that playoff situation. I also
have to bring up like hand size Twitter with the
wet ball yesterday? Is that a thing you guys subscribed
to that? I don't know?
Speaker 1 (02:11:20):
The hands?
Speaker 10 (02:11:21):
What's trick me? His hand size? This is? I don't
I don't know. I think he's out smaller hands. I
think people are doing that. Like wet ball thing. Is
that a thing?
Speaker 1 (02:11:29):
No?
Speaker 10 (02:11:30):
Like a brocky thing I saw it on Twitter? Is
it not? What's yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:11:36):
Is that small for that's kind of big?
Speaker 10 (02:11:38):
Is it undersize? I think that's the thing. It's like
if they get and it's wet and it's has draaked
me played in weather. Those are those like boy things
that are being.
Speaker 1 (02:11:52):
Just does a very good job with messaging to the team,
like he paints such a clear picture of how you're
going to win a football game if they are intomber
and their run game continues to get better, and you know,
Drake May continues to do a good job of not
turning the football.
Speaker 10 (02:12:05):
Over, which he's done until really yesterday.
Speaker 1 (02:12:07):
But it's also hit.
Speaker 3 (02:12:09):
One interception yesterday and it was a bad interception in
the end zone.
Speaker 1 (02:12:12):
But because Rabel just finds ways like they're winning right now.
But Rabel does a great job of this team's not
going to feel like their records with the record going into.
Speaker 10 (02:12:20):
This, Rabel also said like I think you said, uh,
like to be upset about it for thirty seconds and
let's move on to play, which is like, that's the
kind of I guess coach he is. But just like,
phenomenal job. Why were you looking at Russell Wild that
I'll never understand just what I just will never I
(02:12:41):
don't get it.
Speaker 1 (02:12:43):
What once he did the day I do think that
was the start of the.
Speaker 10 (02:12:50):
This isn't but but I do. But yeah, I'm into
the Pats. I guess I feel stupid because I said
all last week, like you guys should have made a move.
Speaker 1 (02:12:59):
Why you make a move the Patriots?
Speaker 10 (02:13:02):
Yeah, like make you guys, it's all in front of you.
Who cares if you're rebuilding, like Elliott, go bring somebody
in the wide receiver, try for Wattle or whatever. But
they don't. I don't think they need it.
Speaker 1 (02:13:11):
This is one area. The whole trade stuff is one
area in my gain to where I don't know what's
going on.
Speaker 10 (02:13:18):
Oh really like to where anybody does.
Speaker 1 (02:13:21):
Other Yeah, but other people are like fascinated, like here's
moves that can be made, Like I don't even think
about that stuff in the season. Yeah, like if we
go on your show and the day before, hey, what
could be a spicy trade? I'm just thinking like, oh shit,
Like I have no clues, pot because you're so used
to like as players too, you're just conditioned that are
teams a team. However well we're doing or not what
(02:13:43):
we're doing. You're never thinking about who could we bring
in from the outside that could give a spark to
this team. You're just you're so in your own ship,
like how are we how do how does this unit?
How do I get better? How does this unit get better?
How can you communicate and be better with the defense
as a whole? Like when trades happen, you're kind of like,
oh shit, we traded for and so or damn we
we ship this dude off. Kind of just takes you
(02:14:03):
by surprise. So that's like happening, like we fu Yeah.
Speaker 10 (02:14:07):
But it affects you, right, like the Colts of bringing
in sauce that has to if you were in that
locker room, you'd be like, right that that matters, right.
Speaker 1 (02:14:15):
Yeah, yeah, Yeah. I'm just saying like, in my if
I think about myself in the game of media, something
like I just don't even think about.
Speaker 10 (02:14:22):
Well, it's kind of the same as free agency though.
Speaker 1 (02:14:24):
Right, Like yeah, I'll sit there and stare at schedules
and you know, when we were talking about the bills,
how they could be, how they could make a rhyme,
Like I'll stare at stuff like that and just kind
of get fascinated by the game that's happening. Yeah, we're
looking down the road in somebody's season.
Speaker 10 (02:14:37):
But you're never like this, Oh yeah, interesting, I love
that for you.
Speaker 1 (02:14:42):
It's like, yeah, the.
Speaker 3 (02:14:44):
Draft and the combin are two things that I watched
people break down.
Speaker 1 (02:14:46):
I'm like, I have no.
Speaker 3 (02:14:47):
Idea how you guys are able to keep like an
understanding of all fifty of these guys in these position groups.
Speaker 10 (02:14:53):
You work that draft in Nashville together. Yeah, And it
was you me interviewing Daniel fuck Jones, Right, can you
imagine how those twenty seventeen can you? Isn't that so wild?
I think I probably have a picture on my interviewed
the way down on my Instagram. It was like Devin Bush.
Speaker 3 (02:15:10):
I remember because he's a guy, And I think after
we walked me, him and Pat Collins walked to like
a red door after that, Like I'm going to.
Speaker 1 (02:15:17):
Be sitting there hearing that and be like, oh yeah,
dud Duke of North Carolina. It's one of those schools.
Speaker 10 (02:15:22):
I remember, But I remember that there's I have a
picture I think of you me and and I'm like,
this is so insane.
Speaker 1 (02:15:27):
What his It was like the first media I ever did,
and we were like three.
Speaker 10 (02:15:30):
It was so fun though, and.
Speaker 3 (02:15:32):
Goos can I a piece of I was like, yeah,
go ahead, She's like, just have fun like you're trying to. Basically,
she's telling me in a hey the bomb doesn't look
good on your head. She's like, hey, just have fun
and ask fun questions, like you don't have to worry about.
Speaker 1 (02:15:45):
Being like a reporter. Brought me a cowboy And after
that I was like, oh yeah.
Speaker 10 (02:15:48):
It brought me a custom cowboy.
Speaker 1 (02:15:50):
Because I was nervous before.
Speaker 3 (02:15:51):
I didn't even really know what I was doing, but
that that little piece of you know.
Speaker 10 (02:15:55):
Then you were like I'm going to be in No
really twenty seventeen.
Speaker 3 (02:15:59):
No, because you didn't come I knew there'd be like.
Speaker 10 (02:16:01):
You'd be doing this, but that you were like planning
for your future.
Speaker 1 (02:16:04):
No, I was just doing because it was fun.
Speaker 10 (02:16:06):
What.
Speaker 1 (02:16:07):
Yeah, it was this when of the drafts was in that.
Speaker 10 (02:16:08):
Yeah, okay, so this this was.
Speaker 1 (02:16:10):
Our first year of busting, because that's rich.
Speaker 3 (02:16:13):
Was that our first year of busting?
Speaker 10 (02:16:14):
No, this was before you, I swear, before you had
done anything. I'll look at my Instagram.
Speaker 1 (02:16:18):
You think it was were we not rolling? Was okay?
So yeah, so we were a year in the busting
Oh we were about to start. Oh that's right here,
you were not.
Speaker 10 (02:16:30):
But because NFL media was like Taylor Lawan is going
to be the big thing, it was raining. I remember
we were backstage and we somehow got to talk to
these players when they got off the stage.
Speaker 3 (02:16:41):
For some of it was so fun. Josh got drafted
by the Jags and just.
Speaker 10 (02:16:46):
Like, oh my gosh, yeah he was do you.
Speaker 3 (02:16:49):
Just he was with this kid and I remember him
like I remember thinking, like I have to play against
this guy this year. But he was so complimentive about
me and like the process and everything. It was such
a weird feeling to be sitting in that seat because
I was still very much playing.
Speaker 1 (02:17:01):
Yeah but yeah, as far as.
Speaker 3 (02:17:03):
Like doing Good Morning Football with you that week and that,
to me, it was just like, oh, this is fun opportunities.
Speaker 10 (02:17:09):
The draft is like the best time of the year,
like that job that like you'll never have a gig.
Look at getting to be backstage when they come off
stage and they're all just like they've won. There's there
you can watch these millions of thoughts in their heads.
There's like nothing better than feeling the emotion of these
guys when they're backstage. It took them and their agents.
We have all of these like Jerry Maguirey moments.
Speaker 1 (02:17:28):
Yeah, you have to do it.
Speaker 10 (02:17:30):
It's unbelievable and like it's just really that's that's probably
as far as like access and like special moments cooler
than a super Bowl in a lot of ways. When
you get to be back there watching them have you
almost feel bad being a part of their moment. But
but yeah, that's too.
Speaker 3 (02:17:45):
Like there's whatever, thirty two guys in there with all
their families, but no one is like it's not like
a room is having a moment. It's like thirty two
individual moments taking place. It's so unique.
Speaker 10 (02:17:58):
Yeah, it's very cool.
Speaker 1 (02:17:59):
A big fan of that.
Speaker 10 (02:18:00):
I feel like I interrupted you guys in talking about
where we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (02:18:03):
We were talking about trades, talking about Dable. I think
it's a bad idea. You guys didn't really say whether
or not you thought it was a bad idea.
Speaker 10 (02:18:10):
I think it means he's not their guy. I mean,
my head goes as Shamee's day, What is Shane Gonnas day?
Is Joe Gonness? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:18:21):
That's right. That's where the interruption from myself had I
don't know, and she heard a little tidbit that they
all kind of know that Joe Brady's gone.
Speaker 10 (02:18:28):
Yeah, OK, I know that he's sorry that I think
that they know he's going. If he wants to leave,
he'll have the world like the world the.
Speaker 1 (02:18:36):
NFL version of Lane Kiffin.
Speaker 3 (02:18:38):
Yeah right, Joe Brady, Lane gonna be everybody's head coach,
Joe Brady fan of the show, future friend of the show,
future friend of the show.
Speaker 10 (02:18:47):
Do you I mean Lane in the NFL happened once
right Raiders and didn't work out?
Speaker 1 (02:18:53):
Yeah, a long time ago. That was a lull, Like
what two decades ago?
Speaker 10 (02:18:57):
Him and him and Jackson love? Why doesn't does he
not want the l s U job?
Speaker 1 (02:19:04):
Is that a thing now? Now that clump just brought
that up. Lane Kiff into the Giants just shocked the
entire world. Everybody in college thinks he's coming to their university.
Speaker 3 (02:19:14):
Yeah, I can't wait for Laneis to stay at Ole Miss.
Speaker 10 (02:19:17):
Isn't there peace to be made for?
Speaker 7 (02:19:19):
Like?
Speaker 10 (02:19:19):
Life is good here? Like no O Miss in the
new ni L world? You like, isn't it going to
make people say where they are more? Am I crazy?
Speaker 1 (02:19:28):
This is why you have That would be awesome.
Speaker 10 (02:19:31):
I'm here for this and I don't think it does.
Dave will get a head coaching gig next year. I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:19:36):
I mean, who's the Titans heade coaching to be? That's
what I want to know.
Speaker 10 (02:19:41):
I asked you that question because I have no I
don't know either.
Speaker 3 (02:19:44):
That's why I like Leanda like Arthur Smith because it's like.
Speaker 1 (02:19:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (02:19:48):
Oh yeah, I don't know him either.
Speaker 3 (02:19:50):
That the franchise is more disorganized than ever before. It
feels like you always have no idea which way is up?
And I gotta figure ask.
Speaker 10 (02:19:56):
Me a trade that I thought would happened, I didn't.
Speaker 3 (02:19:58):
Hey, what's the tripe? You thought that happen and they didn't.
Speaker 10 (02:20:02):
I feel bad, I feel sad.
Speaker 1 (02:20:04):
I don't know somebody I don't know with the Chiefs
the fourth round?
Speaker 10 (02:20:09):
But why would you not do that? If you're But
I can't question Beach. I would never Beach. I would
never question you. But I also feel like.
Speaker 1 (02:20:17):
His chiefs do that. Yeah, I'm with you.
Speaker 10 (02:20:21):
Could you think this is the one? I don't get
what I think?
Speaker 1 (02:20:24):
God, the Chiefs didn't get him.
Speaker 3 (02:20:27):
You can't think the Chiefs are going to win the division.
For watching the Broncos this past weekend.
Speaker 1 (02:20:31):
Yeah, I can't why because that game was horrible, abysmal Thursday,
one of the.
Speaker 3 (02:20:40):
Worst football games I've ever watched.
Speaker 1 (02:20:42):
But this is where all the noise just gets in
on and then they who they got this?
Speaker 10 (02:20:46):
Your defense is so freaking good.
Speaker 1 (02:20:47):
Broncos? Who the Chiefs? Then they beat the Chiefs this
weekend or next week or the Yeah, here we are
or here we to find out? This is where's going
to mop them? This is yeah, this is where it's
across the board.
Speaker 10 (02:21:04):
Chiefs, You're going right back.
Speaker 1 (02:21:07):
This is where Will Compton is the one solo one
on ESPN. It's his Broncos.
Speaker 10 (02:21:11):
Yes, well you know that. I mean Sean has his
number a little bit for Patrick's defensively, have somebody looked
that he's done a good job just win loss I
think against Patrick?
Speaker 1 (02:21:22):
Yeah, fans Joseph that decordator.
Speaker 10 (02:21:24):
No, I just think I think Sean has beat yeah,
has beat him, has beat Patrick. I don't know how
I'm annoyed they like, did you guys see what like
Achan did against the Bills. If you're if I'm like
a Chief stand I'm like and that I don't know.
I don't I didn't hear that rum where I'm like,
you couldn't what would Reese have done? So like, let's
talk about wild Card weekends, let's talk about the AFC
(02:21:46):
Championship game. So like I think that there's this idea
that they don't run. I've just not been impressed with
their run game. I just haven't the Chiefs I want
to like feel good about it.
Speaker 1 (02:21:55):
Don't really what you're impressed by them in the run
game though.
Speaker 10 (02:21:58):
I mean under Andy, I guess like I look, yeah,
I guess not like Clydewards Away. I don't know. I
just feel like in those games though, that are gonna matter.
I don't know. I'd like them to have a little
bit like yeah, I think Breese Hall would matter. I
think you I think when you have to go up
against Derrick Henry and that run game in James Cook
and what they were doing. But also like defensively, those
are teams that can get got on the ground. I
(02:22:19):
would I would have liked to see them give Breese
also like don't leave Reesa there you move Sauce in
Quinnan and poor boys. He didn't get adopted like you
know who does in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (02:22:31):
You know who does a third rounder? You know who
goes up and is like, all right, you want a third,
I'll give you a third. Howie Roseman, I love him?
Do you think he does? I think if he's if
he was the Chiefs, like they're making okay, you want
a third all right?
Speaker 3 (02:22:45):
He might be the goat man the way he just
moves around in the GM world. Dude, I don't think
there's another gym doing it like that.
Speaker 1 (02:22:51):
Dude. The Eagles go back, Jeremy, Jeremy, Yeah, I believe so.
Speaker 11 (02:23:01):
I think the Eagles are the best team in the NFL.
In the show tonight, which well when we listen on Tuesday,
the Eagles will be double digit point winners against the
Packers on Monday Night.
Speaker 1 (02:23:09):
Football was the we don't haven't I wish a camera
for clump there something.
Speaker 11 (02:23:18):
But yes, I think the Eagles they're they're set up.
They go out and get Jalen Phillips for a third
rounder because how he's the boss and move and you
know they play the game. So if they lose Jalen
Phillips on a contract year, they'll get a third round
pick back anyway, So how he's just basically playing with
house money.
Speaker 10 (02:23:33):
Always he's the greatest. He might be the goat when
all of a sudden, done of the show, friend of
my show? Too nice?
Speaker 1 (02:23:45):
What else do we have? I do think we have some.
There's some NFL questions for you. Which NFL fan base
treat you like family?
Speaker 10 (02:23:52):
Oh? The Packers probably more than anybody. I'm like, very
in tune with them. I don't really know why. I'm
from Chicago. It's a whole mess. But they they credit
me with marking them Xavier McKinney, their local strip club,
the Oval Office. Always have a welcome invitation there. They
send me their merch which I love. Oval Office salute
(02:24:14):
to you. Never have been there, So calm down.
Speaker 1 (02:24:17):
Yeah, which fan base has the most beef with you?
Speaker 10 (02:24:21):
I think because I said the Packers, probably the Bears.
The Bears, that's.
Speaker 1 (02:24:25):
One you can kind of handle, though. Yeah, it's a
hard one.
Speaker 10 (02:24:28):
I don't know that I'll ever. How do you get
how do you fix that?
Speaker 1 (02:24:31):
You know?
Speaker 10 (02:24:31):
I don't know how to remedy that. I've been critical
of them and then I can't credit them because then
it's stay over. There be a Bengals fan be it whatever. Yeah,
Chicago's like a very unhinged understandably so fan base given
like they know greatness, they want to get back there,
great sports town. I believe in this team, though I do.
Speaker 1 (02:24:52):
I think it hard on you. Now what are they?
Six and three?
Speaker 10 (02:24:56):
Yeah? Unlikely wins too, like wild wins that they used
to lose. So I'm rooting for them. But Bears fans
or I think half the AFC West is mad at me,
kind of like you're saying, you walk into takes Chargers.
I supported the Chargers all throughout my Good Morning Football World,
like love them, but I said that in clutch moments
I'd rather have bo which I actually think that I
(02:25:17):
said in the off season, and like Herbert, fans freaked out.
Speaker 1 (02:25:21):
Understandable.
Speaker 10 (02:25:22):
So I love the Chargers, but I'd say, like the
when Raiders fans think I'm a witch because I got
they thought that. They think that I had something to
do with Devanta Adams leaving because he'd come on up on
Adams and talk about it. But so they want to
burn me at the stake. They think I have the power,
which I appreciate, but no, but that's a hard one.
(02:25:43):
Those are hard ones. To win hard, ones to win back.
But I really do love every team, and I really
try to see the best in every team. I don't
I can't think of a team that I don't love,
Like I love all of them, but yeah, they don't.
I'd say those three. I'm getting gosh, what a good question. No,
(02:26:03):
I don't love the Browns and I I I don't
love the Browns, and I can't believe Miles is there
at the end.
Speaker 1 (02:26:11):
How about the Jets? Do you love the Jets?
Speaker 10 (02:26:13):
I do long suffering, been there, done that, I love them.
I like the Jets.
Speaker 1 (02:26:18):
Yeah, what about the Titans?
Speaker 10 (02:26:21):
I want them to like be great?
Speaker 1 (02:26:23):
Do you know?
Speaker 10 (02:26:24):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:26:25):
What that looks like, Like.
Speaker 10 (02:26:27):
It's sort of wildly I think I had Derrick Henry
on the show the other day and I was like,
do I ask him a Titans question? And I'm like,
I don't even freaking remember that, Like I'm trying to
him and that or like d hop or like that's
like or a j like it's just sort of But
I do like I like Amy, I like I love
the city l a Midwest Nashville, but it feels like
(02:26:50):
y'all have everything la every guys getting an erawon sounds
like are you? Are you really? Oh boom? This is
like it feels very la these days.
Speaker 1 (02:27:00):
Bieber's wife, what's doing, Haileyber?
Speaker 3 (02:27:04):
Buddy, she's got a She's got a smoothiet Era one
named after her.
Speaker 1 (02:27:06):
That is have you all had?
Speaker 10 (02:27:09):
I've never heard of that.
Speaker 1 (02:27:10):
It's like twenty seven dollars, but that thing is a
game changer.
Speaker 10 (02:27:13):
Is a yummy?
Speaker 1 (02:27:14):
Oh my god. Yeah. When I got my knee done
again with Ela trosh one a day maybe two, I
was sitting you a full knee replacement, no no, no, no
to say this was still God given, but it will
I will need a knee replacement eventually.
Speaker 10 (02:27:27):
Okay, what do they do to it?
Speaker 1 (02:27:29):
A C L?
Speaker 3 (02:27:30):
And then had to refix the A C L from
the original surgery.
Speaker 10 (02:27:34):
That sounds awful.
Speaker 1 (02:27:35):
I'm doing this now.
Speaker 10 (02:27:36):
I might need that guy's number. I got to get
my mom. Her kneels is really Oh he's and he's
in l A and he would do like he does
did your surgery.
Speaker 1 (02:27:45):
Yeah, oh he's the best. Very still, I will buy you.
Speaker 10 (02:27:49):
A Hailey Bieber Smoothie Ellen Alcatross Tron in San Francisco.
Sure I know that, Yes, I'm not dumb.
Speaker 1 (02:28:01):
I don't think you are.
Speaker 10 (02:28:02):
Thanks appreciate that. Okay, what else.
Speaker 1 (02:28:03):
Mid season MVP say the right answer?
Speaker 10 (02:28:10):
Like who I think Jonathan?
Speaker 1 (02:28:13):
You have to say Jonathan, that is the answer.
Speaker 10 (02:28:15):
He's not gonna get it. They're gonna put But like,
if it's between Drake May and Jonathan, you should give
it to Jonathan. Like he has two top twenty single
game performances. He's on the three and more touchdowns yesterday.
And then like we're talking about like Daniel Jones. You
tell why is Daniel Jones getting hit so much? But
he's running free?
Speaker 1 (02:28:35):
What's happening so weird?
Speaker 10 (02:28:37):
Tell me I don't get it.
Speaker 3 (02:28:38):
Up until like three weeks ago the offhans On only
give up like six acts. There a second sex.
Speaker 10 (02:28:42):
So tell me what what do I need to know
about that? I got to rewatch the film I'm a
Daniel Jones girl.
Speaker 3 (02:28:45):
I need to watch that game because it was on
eight AM and I kids were made the twelve and
then in football.
Speaker 1 (02:28:52):
The early Sunday Games, International fort Watch.
Speaker 10 (02:28:56):
He was having the time of his life.
Speaker 1 (02:28:58):
But three stealing game.
Speaker 3 (02:29:00):
It was the tackles. The tackles were getting worked. Heigh
Smith and t J.
Speaker 10 (02:29:04):
Well, I don't know, but he's it's him, he's the
most valuable player, but also like Drake, it's him or Drake.
But I'm going to give it to him this week.
My wrong, What's I think he's not going to get
it right? He should.
Speaker 3 (02:29:18):
I mean he's on pace to do more than LT
did when he wanted.
Speaker 1 (02:29:21):
To touch on record.
Speaker 10 (02:29:22):
That's so that is the one of the sexiest records
in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (02:29:29):
Twenty eight. The hard part is it's been just such
a quarterback award. I'm just I know, if we're playing
down the road, say Jonathan Taylor continues, but if Drake
may ends the year as like the one seedson.
Speaker 10 (02:29:39):
With the New England, they if they sweep the Bills,
it's over. He's getting it. Drake's getting it.
Speaker 1 (02:29:45):
Eight.
Speaker 10 (02:29:46):
It's twenty eight. I thought it was thirty. No, it's
thirty one.
Speaker 1 (02:29:49):
He was the record.
Speaker 10 (02:29:50):
I'm talking about that one most total touchdowns in a
single season, thirty one is crazy and you might get that.
I think if he would have to do that right,
he'd have to do that right.
Speaker 3 (02:30:04):
Yeah, because that's a perfect person to lean back on
like he wanted. So he should win it as well,
especially if the only other person is Drake may because
like Josh is not sorry, I mean.
Speaker 10 (02:30:17):
He's having the best stretch of Can I tell you
the coolest thing about Stafford? How many touchdown does he have?
He's crushing it? Okay, but guess how many picks he has?
Speaker 1 (02:30:26):
Two?
Speaker 10 (02:30:26):
Yes, you guys, he only has two picks. That is
m VP worthy because when you think of Stafford, he's
gonna throw and he's gonna sing. He has it. He
has his whole career. But in his Super Bowl year,
how many touchs? How many interceptions did he have? He
led the league in interceptions his Super Bowl winning year.
For him to be doing this right now with like,
(02:30:48):
how do you? How do you at that season of
your life and cut down on interceptions in that crazy
way that like I do. I don't know what he's
how he's doing that.
Speaker 1 (02:30:57):
He didn't play all camp either, like he had that
back issues, so and he did it with.
Speaker 10 (02:31:03):
He's doing it like I just think that Gosh, it's
hard to think that they're not gonna win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (02:31:10):
Yeah, the chemistry has right now. DeVante Adams to run
the goal line is nuts.
Speaker 10 (02:31:14):
I'm so happy for both of them. I like when
the Ogs, you know, yeah, I don't know what's going on?
Is Roger? Are we done with the Steelers?
Speaker 1 (02:31:23):
Dude? The Steelers.
Speaker 10 (02:31:27):
Don't ask the questions.
Speaker 1 (02:31:28):
Okay, but don't you feel the same way. They're just
so inconsistent. Defense shows up one week, then they don't.
Aaron Rodgers, he's.
Speaker 10 (02:31:37):
Swinging the falcons of the a f C.
Speaker 3 (02:31:43):
Yeah, the most inconsistent team.
Speaker 10 (02:31:44):
And I want it for him, like I want it's
better for all of us. I think, honestly if he's
there at the end, like the Ravens and a half,
so are they going to? Like My thing is like
I don't want to see them get into the playoffs
and just get crushed Like that's like that's like that
that's the Steelers right lately. And then like you want
it to be But like with him, don't you do
(02:32:05):
we feel like you have a chance? Like do we
feel like like, I don't know, Rogers.
Speaker 1 (02:32:10):
What's just nuts is the Ravens are one in five
coming out of the Bible favorites in the in the books.
It's like they're gonna win the North.
Speaker 10 (02:32:17):
Can you guys show me the Ravens schedule the rest
of the way the guys they're gonna go to the
super Bowl. You can't convince it the otherwise. Look at
the schedule. I believe it's the Jets, Browns, the Bengals twice,
the Ravens or sorry, the who do they have?
Speaker 1 (02:32:30):
We were on Get Up last week and we're saying
that the last games Bengals twice.
Speaker 10 (02:32:37):
Derrick Henry was gonna go crazy on the Bengals twice.
This is the best schedule in the NFL. They're gonna
have momentum, and of course the Pets are that's that's
a fun one. But I'm saying they've got They've just
got the best schedule.
Speaker 1 (02:32:54):
Last game of the year. Ravens Steelers January fourth, both
nine and seven.
Speaker 3 (02:33:03):
Dude, I think December seventh, it's going to get figured out.
Speaker 10 (02:33:08):
Yeah, they still have so they've got. Yeah, this is
a beautiful little thing that the Ravens have. I'd say
they're going to be your second half. Like let's go
to the moon here, I do.
Speaker 1 (02:33:19):
Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 10 (02:33:21):
Funny Colts Patriots AFT championship Colts Patriots?
Speaker 1 (02:33:27):
Wouldn't that be awesome?
Speaker 3 (02:33:29):
Brady Manning classic? Bring it back? But like question, which
one are we doing?
Speaker 1 (02:33:37):
Okay, you know how people would do anything.
Speaker 10 (02:33:40):
For a nice cold bud life anything.
Speaker 1 (02:33:42):
What would k Adams do anything? Four can't say family?
Speaker 10 (02:33:46):
Wait what I can't say?
Speaker 1 (02:33:48):
Family?
Speaker 3 (02:33:49):
Talking about what's something that you would do anything for?
Speaker 10 (02:33:52):
What is something that you would do?
Speaker 1 (02:33:56):
What is something so brought bow do anything for that?
Bob Bauer said, I'll.
Speaker 3 (02:34:03):
Do anything for a steak, a nice steak dinner. Steve
Vanilla comes on the show. He says, I would do
anything to make this one documentary that no one's gonna
care about but me was good one Dale said nothing.
Speaker 10 (02:34:19):
I don't know. Let me think I would do anything
for so earlier in.
Speaker 1 (02:34:23):
Your career, You're like, I'd do anything to get on TV.
You know on TV? Is there a new ambition to
settle down? That's a good answer. Peace for peace?
Speaker 10 (02:34:35):
No, I don't know, guys, I have to think of
this now. I don't know this was I'm sure Kat
told me this was coming and I forgot you did
anything for. I don't know what I do anything for.
I would love, but no, it's not gonna happen. Jonathan Taylor,
(02:34:55):
He's got no chance. I would do any I would
do anything to have a baby. Fox as a pet.
Speaker 3 (02:35:02):
Oh, that's a good that's a really good one. Have
you watched YouTube videos on foxes?
Speaker 10 (02:35:08):
No, but I had, Oh my gosh, but look at that.
I'm gonna but I don't. It's like a dog and
a cat had a baby and I had a dream
last night. What I had a dream last night that
I found a fox and nurse it to health. And
it became No, that's not cute.
Speaker 1 (02:35:27):
You don't think that's cute.
Speaker 10 (02:35:28):
I do not think that's cute.
Speaker 1 (02:35:29):
You don't think that's cute.
Speaker 10 (02:35:32):
You think that.
Speaker 1 (02:35:34):
Show a baby? I feel like it does with Giant Air.
Speaker 10 (02:35:42):
Did you guys see the chihuaha wolf thing? Can you
guys go on like like like search on TikTok or something,
search like wolf Chihuahua.
Speaker 1 (02:35:52):
Like a mix between those two.
Speaker 10 (02:35:53):
No, like there's a little I don't know the whole story.
I haven't done my research, but there is a this
is problem. Oh my gosh, this makes sense why I
had the fox dream because I was in this world. No, no, no,
it's not going to be on like a Google search.
You have to like search it on TikTok or something.
There is a there is that somehow like escaped there
thing up?
Speaker 1 (02:36:13):
What is going on here?
Speaker 10 (02:36:14):
For them? You got a second go on that.
Speaker 1 (02:36:19):
I'm gonna go again to my second one was all right,
one great? Have you done?
Speaker 10 (02:36:24):
The first pitch I have twice.
Speaker 1 (02:36:27):
Was hanging out? Did you did you see and white video? Yes?
Speaker 10 (02:36:31):
Okay, so there's like a this all makes sense. Why
have you seen this? There's a wolf? Explain it. There's
like a wolf pack and there's a chihuahua that is
like left the coop, like left their domesticated home. And
this chihuahua is like the like the o G gangster
kingpin of a pack of freaking actual wolves, and he's crushed.
(02:36:54):
We have to see this. Things are so thinks that
it's a wolf and the wolves think it's a wolf.
It's actually kind of amazing. But yeah, I would say
I want to I want a pet fox. That's my
new thing. No, this isn't it? Yes, that stuff on
the right, Yeah, I clicked that one.
Speaker 1 (02:37:16):
Look at this guy and he's watching.
Speaker 10 (02:37:19):
I'm not it's not. There's so many of these videos
with this, and it's like, truly, it's kind of amazing.
Now this makes sense. Why I have this full?
Speaker 1 (02:37:29):
Why are Fox's start in front of this camera right now?
Speaker 10 (02:37:33):
Why are fox?
Speaker 1 (02:37:35):
That is so funny?
Speaker 10 (02:37:37):
I don't know what's the background story on that cat? No,
this is and then they're like and then they're yeah,
I don't think this is a I.
Speaker 3 (02:37:56):
No, that's real. That's why.
Speaker 1 (02:38:00):
Hey, that is badass.
Speaker 10 (02:38:02):
And so so I think I saw this before I
went to bed, and I had a dream that I
that I adopted a fox. And then I was like,
why aren't foxes pets? Why not? And so we're dogs
and cats? What do you mean how is it different?
Speaker 1 (02:38:18):
There's like a fox farm.
Speaker 10 (02:38:20):
Yeah, so like a domesticated fox, Like, why can't that
being about? How regal? In fucking badass? Sorry to swear
to cut that I don't like. Sorry, I'm so. I mean,
if I were to read some of these bumper stickers
out loud, this would be.
Speaker 1 (02:38:39):
Some of them. Oh god, my child is on the
honor roll.
Speaker 11 (02:38:42):
There's a lot of.
Speaker 10 (02:38:44):
There's a lot of four letter words flying around. Was it?
What was I saying? Oh, yeah, I want a fox.
I would do anything to have a domesticated fox. I
would look so cool walking around with that.
Speaker 3 (02:38:58):
What what about a sky We talked with the smelling
things with the smelling things out of his bum.
Speaker 10 (02:39:05):
No, I don't think that they're attractive. A fox is
like beautiful skunks are adorable. No, you're like I think
peppy la pee right away.
Speaker 3 (02:39:14):
Okay, first off, he had game. If it wasn't for
the smell.
Speaker 10 (02:39:17):
Interesting, I don't know about that. That's not cute.
Speaker 1 (02:39:20):
Okay, we get a full grown one?
Speaker 10 (02:39:22):
Can we a full grown one?
Speaker 1 (02:39:24):
Are these guys?
Speaker 10 (02:39:25):
No, that's not are you.
Speaker 1 (02:39:28):
That's like a week older than the one.
Speaker 10 (02:39:30):
It's giving rodent? But I like, but show me like
a fox tail? Like, there's baby foxes too, and then like.
Speaker 3 (02:39:35):
When they foxtails better and that's that skunk tail. Yeah,
and the noise they make too.
Speaker 10 (02:39:40):
They're cooler than dogs and cats. Foxes. I don't know
why we are hanging out with them more.
Speaker 1 (02:39:45):
That's no.
Speaker 10 (02:39:47):
But I just I really don't even think I've really
seen a fox until we were googling them this morning.
Speaker 1 (02:39:51):
Have you ever heard of fox yell?
Speaker 10 (02:39:54):
We looked at it. Cat was yeah, but look at
that Look at those that is cool. Look at that tail.
Speaker 3 (02:40:00):
You find the same tail and a huskey. And I'm
telling you right now, high maintenance dogs.
Speaker 10 (02:40:03):
I'm not saying, but it's not anymore. I don't know.
I think I'm into it. I think everyone's this is.
Speaker 1 (02:40:09):
Her question, this is her truth.
Speaker 10 (02:40:10):
Yeah, this is my bud light.
Speaker 1 (02:40:12):
She do anything for right now, go ahead, you have
whatever you want.
Speaker 10 (02:40:16):
I would do anything to have it fox as a pet.
Speaker 1 (02:40:18):
If you could domesticate, what animal would it be? Well,
either a tiger or lion.
Speaker 10 (02:40:26):
You wouldn't freak that I would. I couldn't.
Speaker 1 (02:40:28):
The question is if this.
Speaker 10 (02:40:30):
Is a domesticated animal, but the worst thing a fox
could do, you still are like, you're just gonna chew
it my furniture, bite me. It's like a dog. No,
you can do nothing worse to me than a dog
can do. Where is that? We're in a different We're
a different again if.
Speaker 1 (02:40:45):
It's fully domesticated, like, hey, you want to go see
my lion in the backyard. He's just chilling.
Speaker 10 (02:40:49):
Yeah, yeah, it must be nice to have space like that. Yeah,
life is good for bust right there.
Speaker 1 (02:40:58):
That would be sick. Look up beautiful, that gorgeous, but
you need to look up. A wolf would be sick,
but I just feel like a mass.
Speaker 10 (02:41:06):
A wolf would be crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:41:08):
Yeah, a wolf would be all time. But again, look
how beautiful those tigers are and then if when you
get time, kat do this for for k Kevin richardson
Lions watching Kevin Richardson Lion videos on he's just that
is lions that.
Speaker 10 (02:41:24):
Got to have like a wolf would be so crazy
or like a cloned puppy like tom.
Speaker 1 (02:41:28):
Oh, what's your take on that?
Speaker 10 (02:41:31):
That's your boy, that's your Michigan boy.
Speaker 3 (02:41:32):
Yeah. I don't agree with everything he does.
Speaker 1 (02:41:35):
I don't understand it.
Speaker 10 (02:41:36):
I don't. I think all of that freaks me. Yeah,
that freaks me out. You guys ever been on a
safari or anything.
Speaker 1 (02:41:42):
No, that's a bucket list. Yeah, I hear that stuff
is uh.
Speaker 10 (02:41:46):
It's fun. I cried. I cried. Oh my gosh, yes,
see to you. I cried. I went on far and
I cried a lot more than I thought that would.
I think it's like very like obvious why we're here,
(02:42:08):
like life, death, circle of life, elephant babies, like there
were so many just like just like it was a
very like simple or something. But it really like struck me.

of like washing baby elephants. I would do anything to
do that. I'm switching my own just to like hang
out with baby elephants. They're so unbelievable as animals. Yeah, yeah,
I don't know. We've really covered a lot of topics
