twenty six for a second year.

Who else wore twenty six?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
But I feel like your numbers, guy, I know, I'm
trying to think now I'm on the spot. That's a
good one.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, that's great, twenty six.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I feel like legend No, never mind, I don't even
want to say who I was thinking it was.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
He was last episode.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
RC. That's a good one.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Oh, Leon Bell Yeah, up in the mic, Jack Adrian
Peterson on the on the Redskins sucking that day?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
What about the Lions?

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Mm hmm ap Le'Veon Bell.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Legend and a cutchin.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
There we Go Girls Strawberry, John Terry, the legendary center back,
Chase out Lee.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
So like I was saying, a lot of legendary twenty
six is with Clinton Portis Clinton Portis, Deuce McAllister, Wow,
Kyle Korver with the jazz landon Collins of course, Damn.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
Curtis Granderson and we have a lot of great questions
for you guys that we need to answer.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
We have a yeah, heavy uh heavy fan question day.

Speaker 7 (01:33):
Let's go for episode twenty six, and then obviously these
are these are for everybody. So Derek, hey, yeah, for
those of you watching Derek, you can switch back to yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
You have your microphone.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
Derek is switching for us because uh, Matt Malone is
on his way up to New York for putting Will
and Taylor in a tough spot on ESPN, So Derek
is filling in.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Crushing six.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Matt's still here. All right, you got our questions?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yes, we have two from Aaron cot one five o
two and then we have our boys striped up official back.

Speaker 7 (02:12):
So we'll start with Aaron cot uh fifteen oh two
favorite tripp or experience with bust with the Boys. I
feel like that's a very broad question, and there's been
so many your favorite trip, favorite trip or experience in
our time here kind of I mean you not not
that this was like the best, but your memory from

(02:34):
three years ago today, Oh.

Speaker 8 (02:36):
Just a Michigan Yeah, yeah, no, that was that was
a fun time and shots one boy was free. Honestly,
boys of all of us now, but he was working
at Michigan then, so it.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
Wasn't that that was the first bust and bowl. I
think so that's the one that's the one with him
on the field with the scully.

Speaker 9 (02:53):
Yeah, yeah, But I don't know.

Speaker 8 (02:55):
I think we all have run across like friends or
families on the road and stuff like when went South Carolina,
your parents were there and you weren't, which is.

Speaker 9 (03:02):
A good time to hang with them.

Speaker 8 (03:04):
But anytime you can like run across some old friends
in the work path, it is always a good time.
We got to hang with Winfrey went out pretty hard
that night. I want to say.

Speaker 9 (03:15):
I got in an uber.

Speaker 8 (03:17):
I hit this point where we were at the Brown Jug,
I believe, and I just remember the floor is feeling
so slippery, and my mouth started salvating, and I was like, okay,
this is not good, but my balance is off. I'm
starting to salvate. I'm about to throw up soon. I
got it in an uber because I have no idea
where I am on Michigan's campus. Horrible I did to

(03:37):
get into an uber two when you're on the verge
of throwing up. It was like a left and a left.
I could have walked home faster than it took the
uber to get there. And the second that I opened
that door, I spewed everywhere on the sidewalk, luckily not
in the Sky's car. I go to sleep, I left
where everyone. Then I wake up. Winfrey was staying in
my room, I think, And yeah, and was it all

(04:00):
three of us in a room or was it?

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yeah, he was, but there was a.

Speaker 8 (04:05):
There was a half frozen, well half eaten, frozen pizza.

Speaker 7 (04:11):
I don't know if you if it's the same trip
like when JP went out the lineman. I don't know
if we're gettinghim mixed up because I don't really remember.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
I don't know regardless.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
Regardless of someone that we woke up and there was
half of a like tombstone pizza.

Speaker 9 (04:26):
It was eating, but it was still frozen.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
So yeah, I think that might have been win.

Speaker 9 (04:30):
And we think it was I think Winfrey.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
We thought that maybe he could do the microwave route
no microwave, regardless. You can't cook a frozen pizza in
a microwave. I mean, maybe you can, but it's gonna
be horrible.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
A long time sot he didn't remember.

Speaker 9 (04:44):
I didn't remember.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
That sounds crazy, No, one's pants are on.

Speaker 9 (04:47):
It was weird.

Speaker 8 (04:49):
But yeah, that definitely wasn't my favorite trip, but it
was definitely one of the more memorable ones.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yeah, I mean, like the first one that comes to
mind is probably that first Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Week we did.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It wasn't just in our own house.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
That was so much.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
That One's also just like fun for me because at
the end of the week was my birthday and so like,
work really hard throughout the weekend or the week.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Great interviews.

Speaker 9 (05:14):
Don't go to the Drake party.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah, we almost got into the Drake party.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Traine's Hotel.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
I have no idea what way to jeffree Stars Airbnb
in the Mountain with.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
You. You are on the solo because.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Y'all went, don't you know the audience like that was Garrett,
y'all went to the Drake party.

Speaker 9 (05:38):
And I'm like, we went outside of the Drake party.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
I'm not I'm not about to just stay with and
then uh true, I'm like Tanner, I'm trying to go home,
and He's like, I'm trying to go here, And I
was like, all right, bet, I'll that.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Story is good with the training party.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
If anyone followed that, the hell's happened.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
I mean, I don't want to get to Jeffree Stars
our Jeffrey Star meet up.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
My favorite part of the week. Weirdest part of the week.
But yeah, that was fun.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Something about just having our having our own crib was hilarious.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah. Hitting that workout with Jack first thing got there
and the exos.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Yeah, Jack, lets work out in the backyard.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
I had blisters for the rest of the week.

Speaker 8 (06:16):
We were one of the first people to see Brittany
Grinder when she got imported back from Russia. She was like,
came straight Arizona and we were.

Speaker 9 (06:23):
Working on We're like that, that's that's Brittany.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I think Jalen Hyatt was there too.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Was a lot of guys were there.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, that was fun that The first day was like
a leg workout and I couldn't walk there.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
This week was terrible.

Speaker 10 (06:37):
Is that when me and you beat him and Will
and Spike Ball, No, you and Will beat me and JP.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Yeah, So this was this was Mitch dun was this
was Eagles.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
This is Eagles cheese Arizona.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
We had he was awesome. The first time we met Dana.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, legendary week of interviews.

Speaker 9 (07:00):
Yeah, I went to McCaffrey.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Mama, Yeah, Max.

Speaker 9 (07:07):
Oh Will cried in that interview.

Speaker 8 (07:08):
It was also like and sounded like a jackass because
I think we went out and he was hungover.

Speaker 9 (07:14):
I mean, dude, we we hit.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
It pretty like there was didn't help because the barstool
bar was there.

Speaker 9 (07:19):
Yeah, Barsol Bar and that the whole Barschool crew. But
like in the last two Super Bowls.

Speaker 8 (07:24):
At Vegas and in the New Orleans, like we went
out maybe once twice, and both of those trips combined,
and then on that one it felt like it was
every nine people were going out.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Yeah, the the like dive bar, pool bar was pretty
sick Pennies place. I think it was called Penny That was.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
That was I tried to tap up skis damn. Oh dude.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
That's Josh Richards was there and there, and there was
this guy that was just trying to make small talk
with him. Clearly he knows who he is and he's
just like screaming in his ears.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
So where are you from?

Speaker 9 (07:57):
Bro?

Speaker 5 (07:57):
That was so like, I'm from Canada.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Oh no, shot, what's remind me of your name one
more time? It's like, I'm Josh, Josh, good to meet you. Bro.
It's just like, dude, the worst small talk ever. Josh
was being a champ with it.

Speaker 8 (08:10):
It was that that one meme of the guy screaming
and the girls at the baseball game.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah, who performed Skis in uh Charlie on a Friday?

Speaker 3 (08:19):
It was it was Skis, Earn and Charlie on a Friday.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
And then there was like that group of like just
frat bros that were screaming every Charlie on a Friday.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
So like lyric it.

Speaker 7 (08:27):
Wasn't me, don't don't do that, don't do that. I
was I know, I was saying I was singing to Skis.
I didn't really know Charlie on a Friday.

Speaker 8 (08:35):
I mean, what's worth singing the Skis? Not getting dapped
up or just being a fan of tro Bro Friday.

Speaker 7 (08:40):
He went up to, Yeah, I think so you three
all like obviously new Skis because he came on the
bus and like that was my first trip with you, Mike,
my first time meeting him, and obviously I'm a big
Mike fan. Skis and Mike used to roll together, so like,
y'all three tap him up and then I'm the next
in line. I just go and he just turns around
him like, oh fuck. But then later that night was
when Chris Long came and uh Sam had the table.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
That was actually hilarious.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
That was that was funny.

Speaker 9 (09:09):
That was a fun night.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Earn.

Speaker 8 (09:10):
Also that night he just started smoking like the fattest
joint inside of like one of those uh like clubs
in Scottsdale. And then he just looks at me and
goes an, whatever, tell you look like Taylor Wan if
you had cancer, And I just was like it was
it was bumping music, so like he had to get
close to my ear and I was like, I mean,
he said, come on, tell me that's not funny, and

(09:31):
I was like sure, it's like you can hit this man.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
And I feel like that was the first night that
we actually hung out with them because we'd gone back
and forth on Twitter with Chris we had and that.

Speaker 9 (09:42):
And they just pulled up like damn, y'all actually pulled up.
Good dudes. I don't Yeah, that was my favorite super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
It's dude, I'm just not realizing you're talking about I'm thinking.

Speaker 9 (09:51):
Of Oh, Chris, that would hurt.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
They were on Twitter.

Speaker 8 (09:57):
Yeah they were also smoking in there, but no, yeah, no,
Ernest was the one he was. They were opposite corners,
I think each other. Yeah, I just never want to go.

Speaker 9 (10:04):
I don't.

Speaker 8 (10:05):
I was just in Arizona this past weekend. Not even
one percent of me even considered going to Old Town
where all those clubs are. It just I think I'm
just big bro unk now. It's just not in my wheelhouse.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Finally, I'm trying to think Coopy, You've only been on
one trip, right.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
I mean, yeah, I've only flown once. We've already hashed
the Nebraska trip, so I'm not gonna say that it's
not his favorite. It kind of is. But I also,
despite what went wrong on the Tennessee Bama trip last year,
that was more of a road trip. Oh yeah, yeah,
that one was more fun for me than Nebraska. The meme,

(10:45):
like I said, yeah, despite all that went wrong and
all the fallout that happened after that, was that trip
was really fun. Like rushing the field and then like
getting the game day experience in Knoxville was sick, and
then like road tripping with Jared and Sherman it was
kind of like somewhat recently after they both got here
and we just woke up.

Speaker 9 (11:03):
Road trip was that was that when Shirm dressed up
as Taylor.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yeah. That was for the I forget what the bar
was called the hill, the hill, yeah, corner, the meet
and greet. Yeah, I got I gotta uh yeah, I
mean that trip was really fun. Those are the only
two times.

Speaker 9 (11:20):
Yeah, those are listening.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I mean, those are the only two times I've traveled.
But that one is probably more favorite than Nebraska. Nebraska
was fun, Like you know.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
That was very early for you. I feel like the
Nebraska remember much.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
I was like two or three spring tour, two or
three months for him on Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Yeah, Nebraska was March, so yeah, third month.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Yeah, I love it. But Tennessee was fun.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Mine would probably be uh Jesus, we gotta get a
coop on the road. I know.

Speaker 7 (11:52):
Cada came to mind where when we went to South
Carolina and stormed the field.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah, and we pulled up back to the hotel, storm fielding.

Speaker 9 (12:00):
Unreally, you're about to say this is your favorite memory.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
No, that it was. It was just so funny.

Speaker 9 (12:05):
It was one of my.

Speaker 8 (12:06):
Most hurtful memories of my college fandom. But yes, I
can understand why.

Speaker 7 (12:10):
Like just pulling up on like a golf cart that
is just blaring music.

Speaker 9 (12:15):
I can hear y'all's.

Speaker 8 (12:16):
Golf cart from three streets away, and in my head,
I'm like, no way, this like no way, my worst dreams,
this is going to be the three guys that are
going to be cheering against my downfall.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
And thin it was Sole Survivor was being played?

Speaker 3 (12:30):
It was, I think it was.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
And then Jack down the block.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Jack.

Speaker 8 (12:34):
To give context, this is when South Carolina beat Tennessee
in twenty twenty two. Hennon Hooker turns to those acl
and I tried to get out of that stadium.

Speaker 9 (12:43):
I got blocked in the stadium.

Speaker 8 (12:45):
I was held captive by the South Carolina fans essentially
couldn't move for the last fifteen minutes of the game,
and then went alone to drink in silence. And then JP,
Mitch and Garrett rolled up on a golf cart.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
And then wasn't Taylor on crutches still too?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
No? I think I think he was like still limp
because he didn't go on the field.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
Yeah, that way, and then unfortunately for Jack, he locked
hisself out of his room.

Speaker 7 (13:09):
That that's the end. Like that picture. I wasn't there
for that, but that picture.

Speaker 8 (13:12):
Is that far actually brings me a lot of joy
because I don't know about this.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Well, we got to show you. The picture was so
funny after.

Speaker 8 (13:20):
Just like getting just physically and mentally defeated all that. Yeah,
I I'm basically like giving jps flowers. I'm like congrats, man,
Like I'm not gonna be a sore loser and be
like an asshole. And then he closed his door and
my door's like two down And as soon as it closes,
I realized I don't have like my key. It was
in his room or something, and I have to just

(13:42):
like crawl back. And then I like I literally literally
crawling back on the hotel floor.

Speaker 6 (13:49):
I just open I just opened the door and I
look down and he's down there and he comes like
halfway in.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
He's just face down, hand him. The key goes back.
It was so father that that was.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
That was a great one, that one. And then UH
crashed out the Vegas the Vegas trip that one time
when we shots. Yeah when when JP came back and
he said they all looked like different people.

Speaker 7 (14:13):
Oh yeah, that one was just was that the same
trip that I took the shots before?

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Dana?

Speaker 9 (14:17):
Yeah, I think wait, I think so you're on a bender.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
We were there to work and on a bender.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Because why were we there for when we got super drunk? Then?
Why were we there for that? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Was that the Super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
I don't remember, no, because we didn't really drink during
the super Bowl.

Speaker 8 (14:36):
It was like one night and that we we kind
of partied, but.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
But I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
It was.

Speaker 8 (14:44):
Like for me and Garrett and Mitch the Notre Dame
trip where we were just slamming shots. We were talking
about that's always a fun one.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
The first Notre Dame trip.

Speaker 8 (14:52):
Yeah, that when they played Clemson and JP unfortunately is
like having to work, but at least he worked to
watch Clemson fail, which is just true.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
A fat storm in the field on that one and
having Will on my shoulders.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Yeah, that was fun.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
I think my favorite was the first ever UFC fight
that we went to because that's bucket list yeah, as
fight fans, and being able to walk through that tunnel
and sit in those seats and get to experience it
in person for the first time. Was that was a
dream come true moment?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
What fight was that?

Speaker 5 (15:22):
Then? That's the worst part. It's like, now there's been
so many.

Speaker 6 (15:25):
It was a international fight week, Yeah, and I believe
it was Vulk.

Speaker 9 (15:29):
I think it was also the Miami I.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Can't remember who. The Miami one was incredible.

Speaker 9 (15:34):
That was a really fun time. We got to have
dinner with Dave and.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
The workout like that week going to that gym. That
was awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
We were there for four days with Mike then too right, Yeah,
liver King those bold testicles from liver King.

Speaker 8 (15:49):
I had to do it, but man, just it tastes
exactly like you think it was.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
Yeah, those might be two of my favorite ones, both
the bull testicles or.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Yeah, the the right.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Good Mine was Boo at the zoo.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
I was about to say, I feel like the last
there I was chewing seeds.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Zoo was fun.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Besides, all the animals were asleep. It's not like the
tiger wasn't the tiger was cool. Everybody else was asleep.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Flamingos were Flamingos are vibe, dude.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
We walked through the zoo one time and they were
just out wandering with the zoo keeper, like through the walkways.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Like they're talking about what mingos?

Speaker 5 (16:31):
What are they talking about?

Speaker 6 (16:33):
I don't know, but they better this crazy pink ship.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:39):
I was trying to try to make a joke of
like how they only stand on one leg?

Speaker 9 (16:43):
Like he has like how were they walking?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Next question from.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
After seeing so many colleges and being on all of
our spring tour and fall tours, would you which one
would you pick if you had to do it all
over again and you can't say your own?

Speaker 9 (16:59):
That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
My college experience pre parid of yours, your guys, is
so completely different just in a.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Sense do you asking about college experience?

Speaker 7 (17:08):
Just like if like all of the colleges you but
I'm saying, like for you guys, you went to a
massive school.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
So right, I think I'm confused by the question, Like
if you.

Speaker 7 (17:15):
All of the schools we've been to, like South Carolina, right,
if you had to pick one.

Speaker 9 (17:19):
To go back and go through?

Speaker 10 (17:20):
Oh, but you can't, he was saying, like for a
spring tour, No, no, no, no, like to go back and
like redo, But I'm saying, but what I'm saying is
like I went to a school with twenty five hundred people,
so like.

Speaker 7 (17:31):
Doing that would be such a mind fuck to me
because like obviously you guys went to all massive schools,
so it's like kind of the same experience but just
at a different location.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
I have too.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
This means I'm in between Nebraska and Tennessee. Well, like
I just tend to see them.

Speaker 9 (17:48):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Why do you choose to You've traveled to like games?

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah, that's true on my own, Like yeah, like.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
You went to Wisconsin and you went to Columbia.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Lsu, LSU. It's not my speed, but that was sick.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Did you know that the com Socks were at the
Florida Alas shoe game we were at in the video
at some point?

Speaker 9 (18:09):
Were you No?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
I had applied for the job already, but I that
was just part of our boys trip and we were and.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
We were and we were like saw them on the field.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
Me and my brother saw them to gen JP walking
but like recognized him. I didn't even like know, like
I just recognized y'all from doing like light research. But
we're at the game that was like a game we
went big on. So we were like on the second
row and me and JP talked a little bit. There
was a guy, like a ball guy that knew everybody
that was talking to Shag talking to were talking to everybody,

(18:41):
and he just had his family. He was We were
sitting right next to him, right next to him, that
was was the Jade and Daniels like five game.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
Yeah, came down, That's what I was saying. Dude. Okay,
So the guy that he brought with him, Yes, his
brother or cousin is the world record holder in the
pole vault like the guy from I forget which country
it is, but he has smashed every single pole vaulting
record ever known to man.

Speaker 9 (19:09):
Will always just run around with like elite niche athletes.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Dude, Yeah, that's the poorio.

Speaker 9 (19:13):
I wouldn't I wouldn't put Poorty in a niche like.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
But he's always like close with all of them.

Speaker 9 (19:18):
Yeah, and then he's a logan.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
He's like out there like just running like duck, like
craw fishing.

Speaker 6 (19:28):
Y'all shout out Cody Verett, Man, go see Pablito's pit stop.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
And I don't even know where which city they're in, but.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
He would be an awesome guest.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
He'd be a sick guest.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
My answer would be organ.

Speaker 8 (19:40):
That was up there if if you take commuting out
of it entirely, because like it'd be tough, just like
only go back to your family like once you're right,
but still, I mean just one of the most beautiful,
clean seems like all the people that are pretty nice.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Just different literally a different vibe.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yeah, that was definitely one that came to mind, specially
really because it's I mean, we know, it's incredible, it
was so much fun. But to experience a different part
of the country for like four years sometimes five, that
that would just be like a place that I would
I think I would enjoy and there's so many other
things to go do from that region.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
I would say, O'Regan or just South Carolina because my
aunt teacher.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
The other one I had was Texas.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
I think I want to switch my answer. This is
no disrespect to Tennessee. I just think I can't hang
in the SEC. It's just not my tempo. I feel
like I would if out of all the ones I've
been to, the like five that I've said, honestly, I
might do Nebraska.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
I love truly, just the weather. Yeah, I would get
that would be a little bit shy from it.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
It's just I feel like it's the most similar and
this is just my personality.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Go with what you know.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
I feel like that's the most similar to like Oklahoma
State for sure, and I and I and I loved
Oklahoma State. Kind of that it was in the middle
of nowhere. Kind of Nebraska's same deal. Like, I feel
like I would out of all of them, I would
enjoy that want to. I like the like culture of Nebraska.
I don't think I could do it though it's similar
to Attlehma State, but Oklham State smaller scalps, because.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Like, if I'm going to be isolated, I don't want
to be isolated there.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
That's a good point because Oklham State is three and
a half four hours from DFW, and that's why that's close.
It's it's really not it is in the middle of nowhere,
but not really it's close to Oklahoma City.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Yeah, so I just don't know about but West for me, yeah,
I get it.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
I feel like I would choose Oregon too.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
But also L s U I I would love to
buy into their like to that fandom if I was
if I grew up like L s U finn, I
think that's sweet.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
And then also Florida State.

Speaker 9 (21:40):
I was at Florida State.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
Florida State could be cool the.

Speaker 8 (21:43):
Culture that just buy in yeah one and just Florida rules.
I also wouldn't hate Ohio State just because of standpoint.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
I completely forgot we went there.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Was really cool. I would I've been to the campus.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
I'd been before we went.

Speaker 7 (22:03):
I'd been there twice for like a football camp and
like we went to like Eddie George's restaurant like that.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Yeah, that High Street where we did the live show,
Like that was a vibe.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
It feels like Columbus, like downtown.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
It feels like new yeah yeah, and good infrastructure, clean clean.
It's a big one for me because you go to
like the wrong campus and it's nasty and you're like,
who could even spend ten minutes here?

Speaker 3 (22:23):
That's how low key.

Speaker 7 (22:24):
And I apologize if this offends anybody, That's how I
thought about.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
L s U.

Speaker 9 (22:29):
Yeah, but like that that comes with exactly.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
That's I couldn't really that, Yeah I do.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
It's like that you forgot about l s U.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Man, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Where else have we been?

Speaker 3 (22:39):
That's we've been to, not too like too many a
and m.

Speaker 8 (22:43):
I see, I didn't go there, and it was a
cool campus where we stayed was sweet.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Yeah, like the culture like Notre Dame.

Speaker 9 (22:53):
Would be cool. I mean, I wouldn't mind it. The weather,
it just is right all the time. But I do
love the campus.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Yeah, you feel like you're gonna learn something there.

Speaker 11 (23:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Cool, Yeah, text something about Texas, like the reason I
said Texas just because it is Texas, and like being
around the people of Texas that just like rep their
states so hard. It could be like a fun time
to buy into and our boy went there.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Avery interesting.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
You've gotta love being in a city too, with an
airport that can get you other places. Sure, Austin Chicago
done easy work.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Getting from Oregon to anywhere would.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Be hell unless you're trying to unless you're going to Hawaii, yeah,
or Canada or Japan.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
So thank you Aaron Coatin for.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
What say, we got to get to some more schools.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah, I'm looking I want to. From what it seems like,
we're gonna try and hit up Lubbock. That would be
sick Olahoma State a few more years, maybe everybody we're going.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Yeah, we'll be there for.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
The school for the future that we should attend.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Oh right now, Yeah, I want to go to I
want to show you guys they wipe out pen.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
Say, yeah, I thought that would be your but it's
pretty high on my lie.

Speaker 7 (24:09):
However, some people don't want me up there, want us
up there and I'm looking at the camera because I
know you don't watch this, but I'm talking to you
and it's fucking insane.

Speaker 8 (24:20):
Oh you know what one that could apply maybe but
as she wouldn't Yeah, definitely wouldn't be.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Oh my, we've been are you talking about for to
go there?

Speaker 9 (24:30):
Yeah, now we've already back to the first question.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Back to the first question. They got the best weather,
they got the best I got the best.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
It'd go Asu, Oregon, Texas in that order for me.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
Wait, can I throw out one that? Uh, if we
did do a trip, I probably wouldn't even go on.
But yeah, Washington, Yeah on the water if we go.
I've heard really good things about Washington, and that's one
that we want to hit on our boys trip because
we're just trying to see all these stadiums. So like
that's one for me that I feel like it would
be so cool, probably similar vibes to Oregon.

Speaker 7 (24:59):
Yeah, I was gonna say, go out there for Washington
game and hit a Seahawks game while you're out there.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Yeah, to go seems sick to go to.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I mean I'm thinking of warm states, I know, like Florida, Yeah, Gamesville, Gainesville,
talk about kind of feels dirty.

Speaker 8 (25:18):
Yeah really and it has like a it's like older
feels like like in the late eighties or from the
nineties are still there.

Speaker 9 (25:27):
Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Us F in Tampa or Miami.

Speaker 9 (25:31):
Miami be cool.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Like what I hate about.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Miami is that they play at the Dolphin Stadium.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
And it's like forty five minutes away from campus.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
I just feel like if the you had their own stadium.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Movie so sick.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
I thought they were getting one.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Loda wouldn't mind checking out like a South Dakota State.

Speaker 9 (25:49):
He not Carson Wins, just Fargo, North Dakota.

Speaker 5 (25:55):
Who plays in the who plays in the inflatal.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Dome, Fargo, the Fargo down. Yeah, that's out to go
to state.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I could be wrong, this thought.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Green and Yellow one North, That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
This could be wrong, but I feel like going to
experience and see either like the Naval Academy or Army
would be pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Army Navy game would be sick. That's like a standalone game.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
But because I've been to Air Forces campus and it
is Yeah, Colorado Springs, Shadow of Jake Lass that was
just like a wild one because you're like, why am
I on this campus?

Speaker 5 (26:31):
Yeah, like all the other ones, Like dude that I
would actually love to go to Colorado.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Yeah, Colorado would be thinking about Colorado that one would
be sick.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah, Utah would be fun. Really just thinking the places
I would like to go the States.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Why is obviously number one?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
We go to Arizona.

Speaker 9 (26:54):
Why would be sd s U.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Yeah, that'd be fun.

Speaker 7 (27:00):
Medi I feel I feel like going There's not like
there's not a whole lot of Northeast colleges.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
It's like Penn State and Rutgers, like.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Carrier down that's in the spring.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
That's like in the middle of New York.

Speaker 9 (27:16):
What about like a Maryland game?

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Maryland is Maryland and South Carolina have weird beef.

Speaker 6 (27:21):
Their coach every single offseason, like has something to say
about us because we get a lot of guys from
the d m V area. And most recently this offseason,
one of the they're a five star recruit, number two
recruit in the country, came on a visit even though
he shut down his recruiting. And then their coach comes
out and says, Zion Lee is getting paid to go

(27:42):
take that visit. Ten grand that's illegal. YadA, YadA, YadA.
One that never happened too. It's actually illegal to say
recruits names in those phrases. Two weeks later, that coach,
the head coach of Maryland, gets fired Mike Loxley, Yeah, Mikeley.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
And but dude with Dylan's do it does the same thing,
and so screw Maryland.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
College Park is kind of sick though. I've just been
there handful of times for lacrosse stuff and it's fun you.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
And to be sick.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Yeah, oh yeah, there's so many outlets West Virginia.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Oh that would be I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
That just feels like that would be.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
A Virginia good time. Charlotteville is sick.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
I'm lucky. Wouldn't mind going to virgin.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Virginia, just like Virginia would be fun.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
Virginia's campus.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Now I'm picking schools because I'm thinking if we go
there in the spring, there's like a chance for a
lacrosse game.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
True, yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Guys, good lacrosse team, do they Well, I'm really trying
to get out there, man.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Next question, do I love We're going?

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Hey we have a home and home with Oklahoma State
twenty thirty.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
Yeah, a couple of years from now, we're going both
games will go.

Speaker 7 (28:56):
These are just from a striped up official shout out
to you. Good These you can kind of go hand
in hand. What was your high school life like? And
what do you miss about high school? And do you
ever do you remember your first ever girlfriend?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Made me cry? I don't feel that way about my
first ever girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
She can kick rocks, so you remember her?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:19):
So what was high school like?

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Y'all too?

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Obviously favorite parts? And then like what do you miss?

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (29:26):
Okay, My high school was awesome. East Side was awesome.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
We had a It was a pretty diverse school, I
feel like, and it had everything everything I wanted. I
had all different sorts of friend friend groups. The neighborhoods
that were zoned for our high school were all awesome
neighborhoods to go hang out in the sports team. The
sports that I played, football was horrible, but it was

(29:49):
kind of funny because a lot of the other sports dominated.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
So I don't know if I.

Speaker 6 (29:54):
Told it on here before, but we were uh you
know who uhn in the locker room before. I think
it was my junior year football season, and you know,
everybody's like talk about their goals and the coach had
just got everybody fired up, like this is the year
we turned the narrative on east Side football. People are
going around saying what they want to accomplish. When one
guy's like, I'm trying to bring a state championship to

(30:15):
east Side and this dude Dally goes, well, you in
the wrong sport, brother, you. He said, you either better
go wrestle or play soccer because it ain't happening here.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Oh, your football locker room sounded hilarious.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Shout out Buddha, Buddha shopping, chop chopping. So yeah, I
mean I loved it. It was it was great.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
Two of our football teammates they had the same nickname
for each other and they always hung out together and
they were both chopped.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
They'd be like, Chop, what up, chop? Nothing much chop.
So I loved it.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
And I remember my first girlfriend, uh, and I have
nothing belove for her. I had if I had three
girlfriends total. I'm on good terms with all of them
and I'm happy they're all doing well. Both of them
actually have kids. So shout out to you.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Oh did that girlfriend's mom text you while we were
at the game.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
She did, It's over there. Every Uh, my high school
girlfriend's mom. She's a big South Carolina fan and her
family is not big football fans, and so she she
has reached out during football season and is like, you know,
go game Cocks, Like what's going on with our team?
And it's a it's a fun like wholesome relationship, like.

Speaker 8 (31:18):
A Christmas like pulling your exercise and being like, why
whatever happened with JP?

Speaker 5 (31:24):
Like you can only hope that's what's going on.

Speaker 9 (31:26):
I mean, it's gotta be if you are still texted
in twenty twenty five. I know.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
No I saw JP restilling. He said, no, leave me alone.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Yeah, no, It's funny though.

Speaker 7 (31:35):
My high school experience is so like I've said that
so many times, just like my college experience is so
different than everybody's.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Yeah, how many people went to your high school?

Speaker 7 (31:42):
I had two fifty in my graduating class, So like
we went to like a relatively good sized high school.
But it like when I tell you I'm from the
middle of nowhere, it is the absolute middle of nowhere.
The biggest thing we had my town is a Walmart,
and our Walmart has Amish hitching posts for Amish people
to come to our store.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Like literally in the.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
Sticks and that's why you were that neon a standout.

Speaker 7 (32:06):
Yeah, Like I was, like I ran around the same
crew the entire time, Like I don't I talk to
like two guys from high school still and like getting
and obviously I love my family. Getting out of PA
was the best thing for me because there's not a
whole lot there, but like all of my experiences and
stuff were so like different than like like you guys

(32:27):
like running around and stuff, Like we never never did that.
I don't know if it's just because my parents were
like low key strict, but like not in a bad way,
Like I just never found that stuff with like appealing
to do. But it's like damn, like you guys, high
school sounds so fun and I had fun in high school,
but it's just like just different. Yeah, that was super depressing.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (32:46):
I promise you it wasn't that bad. But it's just
like hearing other people's experience was fun.

Speaker 9 (32:50):
Probably like.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
There was around Like yeah, I feel like there's a
lot right now at least Susquehanna.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yeah, I thought we were like in the high four hundreds,
five hundreds.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
Yeah, I graduated with seventy people.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
Oh, That's how Sitton was.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
School private school for the last three years of high school.
I started at public school, so I kind of got
a little bit of both. I obviously I loved the
private school because, like I've said, like five minutes ago,
loved the.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
The like low key just public schools. SEC school was
like big twelve. Yeah that's perfect, thank you. I was
looking for the words.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Yeah, so I love the suchial nobody who's like always
were basically empty. But uh, freshman year, like I would
have been fine in public school. Keller is like massive,
so there was a lot of kids there. But my
public school experience was so funny because right out of
the gate snapped my leg and half of football and
so like my school experience after that was in a

(33:52):
cast in a wheelchair, leaving every class early to like
immediate legend though, yes, but I got to go like
to classes. I left school like thirty minutes early.

Speaker 9 (34:04):
My last seat traffic outside.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Or yeah, the last class of the day that I had.
I got an exemption for athletics because athletics was across
the street. I had to cross with my wheelchair, so
I didn't even have to go like watch athletics. I
completely got exempt freshman year. But my last class of
the day was on the top story of the school,
on the far corner from the exit of the building.

(34:29):
So and I knew my tea, my teacher knew my dad,
so like I kind of knew my teacher. Got out
forty five minute class. I got out twenty minutes after
class started, just to roll myself.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
To It's on my carro How many floors not transferred,
It's two, but it's just long long.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
It's a big ass building.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
So damn dude, y'all remember the first I feel like
in middle school, we started out at a old high
school because the new school was being built, so it
was it was a dump. But the first time you
see an elevator at school, like when you're a kid,
for sure, all you want to do is get in
that thing. And it is and it's always a horrible elevator.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
That's not Yeah, I got to ride. I got in
the elevator.

Speaker 9 (35:13):
I know.

Speaker 5 (35:13):
That's what I'm thinking. Like your one friend that you
brought with you in the elevator was probably living large.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
That was always the biggest thing.

Speaker 7 (35:20):
Like I had elbow surgery and I got to leave
class like five minutes early to get to my next one.
So I wasn't like bumping into people and like I'd
always pick like my best friend in the class and
like being.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
That guy to like, hey, you're coming with me?

Speaker 2 (35:31):
Why did you?

Speaker 3 (35:33):
I don't know. They just said, like you can leave earlier.

Speaker 9 (35:35):
I'm like, all right, I feel like it kind of sucks.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
So always regardless would have been.

Speaker 8 (35:41):
Of you having to like pick a friend, because it's
like one of those where it's like, all right, Monday,
I'm picking JP Tuesday. It's midge like Wednesday, g but
like the same guy over and over and then next thing,
you know, like it's just you two at a lunch table.

Speaker 9 (35:55):
Everyone's kind of moving the room.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Between the boys.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
There's some classes where you can only choose one, like
a Spanish class. I only had one friend in there,
didn't know them, true, you're coming with me?

Speaker 2 (36:07):
We gotta get Like all of.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
My friends were in there, so it was a rotation
they were on it a lineup. Uh.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
High school experience was I feel like it was so fun,
Like I mean it, Jack and I went to the
same high school. Uh, we had a lot of the
same friends and being in different grades like that crossed over,
which was so fun.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
Like I feel like we.

Speaker 9 (36:32):
Literally random one of the guys that booed the zooloo.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Yeah literally Jack and you.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
But like I feel like you would get this JP
like having older siblings or like friends with older siblings.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
This goes for anybody. I don't know why I specified JP.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Because sounded like mitched it like his and you graduated
with seventy people.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
But for this room, I know my brother's friends to
do when you.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Have friends because of brothers or siblings throughout like all
four grades and makes it so much fun because you
can be the you can be the freshman, like getting
dogged on by like your friends older brothers that are
like juniors and seniors and you are like like, yeah
they're on you.

Speaker 8 (37:12):
Yeah You're just like I'm actually better than all of you,
the biggest pussy.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
In the hallway.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
But something.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
But it is so fun and Bernwood like had such
a good community.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Again, I feel like I had friends in every class
I was in from different friend groups outside of just
my immediate one or teams I played on.

Speaker 5 (37:31):
It was school early.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
I played golf and that was a fall sport for us,
and we got to leave class early to go make
it to matches, which was hilarious because it's our golf
course was five minutes away.

Speaker 9 (37:44):
It's a little country club one.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Yeah, seriously, good walk there, knows. But yeah, I mean
it was fun, dude, Like it really was. I'm trying
to think of memories, but just a good group of
guys that I still talk to, still play fantasy football
with that we got in a lot of trouble and
had a lot of fun doing it. I don't know,

(38:08):
it was just a good, true high school experience, I'll
say that.

Speaker 8 (38:12):
Yeah, I mean, Garrett hit it on the head, but
like all the guys that he was best friends with,
like I I've known since middle school, Like I grew
up playing travel sports with a lot of them, and
like because I had an older sister and my younger
brother played basketball, it just felt like your relationships kind
knew no bounds. But what I also love is that
we had so many high schools within our county here.

(38:33):
Yeah is that, Like we had so many friends not
only at Brentwood, but like at Brnwood Academy and Ravenwood
and Centennial and Independence.

Speaker 9 (38:40):
Like everyone would stand up, yeah fuck Gravenwood.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
But but I was like that, and I feel like
you kind of like grow up and you assume that
everyone else like you was like, oh, you were friends
with everyone in your county kind of and it's not
always that way. But it's funny because like my two
neighbors are like two guys that went to Bruin Academy,
and just like all of my friends for the most
part are like pretty much grew up in the National area.

Speaker 9 (39:04):
But like the guys that we.

Speaker 8 (39:05):
Hang out with, none of them went to Brentwood, So
I always think that's school.

Speaker 5 (39:10):
Yeah, yeah, that's how Greenville was too. So many high schools.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Yeah, the Closes High School to me was twenty five
minutes away.

Speaker 8 (39:16):
That's crazy because from Brentwood you would probably get to
fifty plus high schools.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Like we would play at school, and it was still
in our county.

Speaker 9 (39:25):
We were at like just take a bus like everything.

Speaker 7 (39:27):
The bottom tip all the way to the top tip
of Burke's County was like an hour, which sucked.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
It was just having that one gllible teacher that you
get away with anything.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Yeah I was.

Speaker 6 (39:36):
I was never really causing problems, but there we when
the Cinnamon Challenge, I feel like we were in high
schools when the Cinnamon challenge was huge, and we had
one friend sneak into our physical science class taught by
mister Gates legend, and he snuck in through the back
and we had brought cinnamon for him to do the
cinnamon challenge in. So he's like duck behind the like

(39:59):
the A tables, and we like hand him the spoon
and the cinnamon and then he just you know, throws
an like hey, I just because he's he's like sneaking, hiding.
So then he throats the cinnamon, coughs it up. Mister
Gates like, Fred, what are you doing in my class?

Speaker 5 (40:18):
He never finished the words. He was a clas and uh.
He's like, what are you doing to my class?

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Fred?

Speaker 6 (40:23):
And Fred was like, oh, I was just I was
on my way to the bathroom. He said, well you
need to go ahead to the bathroom. He's like all right,
my bad.

Speaker 5 (40:30):
And then just like.

Speaker 6 (40:32):
Cinnamon, cinnamon everywhere on the floor and mister Gates just
right back to the lesson.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
I'm like, man, you just you can't get that.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
In the work world.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
We had some I feel like that was That's another thing,
like we had some awesome teachers, like one that definitely
understood the the cool factor. And then obviously you have
something that sucked. But like in middle school, we had
the computer teacher, doctor Norman Storman Norman who talk about
just like kind of oblivion to everything. Uh just dark

(41:03):
room really yeah, yeah, so a dark room and screens
are like right here in the face.

Speaker 5 (41:07):
Was iconic.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
But he would never give you nuts on the way
into class. And he always washed his hands. So obviously
when you're middle school, you're like, we have to figure
out a way to touch this dude's hand. And so
every day everyone would be in like walking in like
trying to do this, and he would just go elbows, man, elbows.
So doctor Norman, we did that. And then in one

(41:28):
class of his his sink had like the little hand
spray gun, and someone was.

Speaker 9 (41:34):
Just crazy to have that in the computer room.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
Right, that's a great point. Anything about that.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
Uh, someone wrapped a rubber band tight a ship around it.
And so when he turned the sink on to wash
his hands, the thing just sprayed him in the chest.
Did not deserve it at all, but just looked down
and looked back up, turned it off. All right, today,
we're gonna.

Speaker 7 (42:01):
Tea had mister Hurtzlert, and I still talk to him today,
Like anytime I go home for like the holidays, I'll
like get coffee with him. He graduated from my high
school like five or six years before like when we
were in there, So all of the teachers that were
still teaching us he had as well. So we were like, Yo,
how is this teacher when you had him? And like
he had the dirt on all of our older teachers.

(42:21):
So it was like, so say be like, yo, what
about what about mister Newland?

Speaker 3 (42:26):
What was he like back in the day? He sucked?
You know, he's still hard ass.

Speaker 7 (42:31):
And like then we would just go and like we
would hang out in his room like the first period
or like before school started, we had like a little
breakfast club, and then once we all graduated, we all
went to his house and like got dinner and stuff.
So like, he's a teacher that, like I like, is
like kind of how you guys said, like the cool
teacher that you could kind of fuck with and everything.

Speaker 5 (42:50):
The gold standard of teaching.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Man.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Yeah, yeah, there were some awesome teachers. Jack and I
would see a teacher from our high school at Bondero
every year.

Speaker 9 (42:57):
Yeah, that's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
That was fun.

Speaker 9 (43:02):
I also I had media and we're you said.

Speaker 5 (43:05):
Goop, I'll just see if he had any any high school.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
In my day.

Speaker 11 (43:10):
We no, I found out I was older ship today.
High school for me was was sick. I played soccer
for years and when I got a scholarship, I decided
to try musical and was to lead in the musical.
I was Jesus, and Jesus was fucking sick.

Speaker 5 (43:22):
I did everything.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
Oh yeah, dang, that's why he was down to fault.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
That's why he was.

Speaker 11 (43:32):
What I said, trend And you're like, you guys should
all do it. I was like, yeah, no, we can
do that, Like we we can all go upstairs and
do that, and everything downstairs was like.

Speaker 5 (43:39):
You give us a little taste.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
It's true.

Speaker 4 (43:42):
I'm not good.

Speaker 11 (43:43):
Yeah I can't sing that one.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Okay, that's a hard song. Whatever you whatever you want, Oh.

Speaker 12 (43:48):
Say, can you see by the Dawn's early light? What
so proudly we have by the twilights last stand?

Speaker 5 (44:04):
And my hat's not off, who's broad stripes?

Speaker 2 (44:08):
And that's a lot of dick that I just switched the.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
But yeah, no, that was my high school.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
High school.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
Oh it was fun.

Speaker 11 (44:15):
Is that just a natural gift? Or did you do
lessons or never did lessons? My mom, my aunt, my uncle,
they all did music. So like I was first year
like trumpet, jazz, jazz, dire, all that shit, but did
sports all through high school. I didn't older brother too.
Oh his friends ripped, but no high school. I was
on more close to the city of Pittsburgh, so we
weren't in the traditional PA like don't know what to

(44:37):
do type.

Speaker 5 (44:37):
Of stuff, like we got in trouble. It was zach
Efron try to.

Speaker 8 (44:41):
Be I want to get a shout out while we're
on this topic because I feel like I won't have
another opportunity for some time to do it. But at Brentwood,
they offered a media program and you could enter any
four years if you start your freshman year, though you're
basically on like a technology track, and you do freshman, sophomore, junior,
senior year starting with a generalize and then it's like

(45:02):
a specialize a broadcasting and then it's an internship if
you make it to your senior year and you get selected.

Speaker 9 (45:08):
So I started my freshman year just because I was like,
I like videos.

Speaker 8 (45:12):
I kind of want to get into that I end
up going through all four years my senior year. At
the end of your junior year, you can apply to
be an intern, and as an intern, you are a
Williamson County employee. You get a key to the school
and it's your requirements for after school shoots. You have
to do one a semester your freshman year, so two total,

(45:32):
and then each year it bumps up, and then by
the time you're a senior, you're doing like six or
like so a semester at least, probably more, yeah, six
or seven at least. But if you're an intern, you
get paid to just be there, and so there's sign
up sheets that go out like the beginning of each month,
and there's just like an intern spot too. There was
eleven intern selected. You make like a whole reel and

(45:54):
like basically like applying why you should be there. And
we had some heavy hitters in my class, like three
of them are still very fully active and like video media.

Speaker 9 (46:05):
One is like a huge.

Speaker 8 (46:06):
Person in Hollywood for what it'd be like shooting movie trailers.
She's like a producer for that kind of stuff, like
wedding videographers and sports broadcasters. So like to say the
least people were like very talented, and I still was
like goofing off. And I was the twelfth out of
twelve selected and it was very well known.

Speaker 9 (46:28):
That I was.

Speaker 8 (46:29):
And mister Adcock was our teacher. He was an absolute ge.
He worked a Channel five in Nashville for like twenty
five years. My freshman year was his first year comes
in just teaching kids. He was just an all time guy.
And like my senior year true like told me, he's like, hey, man,
like I know that like you kind of maybe started
this with just like a way to like past time
do whatever. And he's like, I select you this because

(46:50):
like I want you to be here, this and that,
and like it truly inspired me to like potentially be
where I am today, even though this probably wasn't like
at that time, podcast and like things like that weren't
necessarily in the here and now. But I just like,
I mean, he's definitely not listening to this. Maybe some
like sophomore Burnwood Hie's listening to this. I can tell
Ronnie Adcock that Jack McPherson says, what's up, I owe

(47:11):
you a visit. But as a kid who just like
kind of like didn't take it that seriously, like in
school my whole life. It felt good to like here
teacher be like hey man, I believe in you and
like you need to continue to do this. So that
that was just like an awesome moment where I was like, yes,
I know I'm the last picked, but at least I

(47:32):
know it's for a reason and not like sympathy. So
thank you, Ronnie Adcock. You are the man, and you've
done a lot for like a lot of kids.

Speaker 9 (47:39):
So I don't know.

Speaker 8 (47:41):
And my senior year was I had an unreal schedule
because I did dual enrollment for English, so I got
my freshman year of college English knocked out and I
only had to go Monday, Wednesday, Friday. So Tuesday Thursday
is no first period. My second period I had P two,
So on Tuesday Thursdays, I'm just rolling in to school late,
going straight to play dodgeball. I have third, fourth, and

(48:04):
fifth period academics, and then sixth and seventh and was
there eighth period? Six yes, eight period, Yeah, because my
last three periods were just in media and as it
as an intern and senior, it's not like we're learning things,
just getting paid and I'm getting paid and.

Speaker 5 (48:20):
I have and I could leave Jack got nil before
nil bro I.

Speaker 8 (48:23):
Could leave school if I wanted too early, like you
could just chilled. So my senior year was truly just
like I was, like, Man, I set myself up right
for this, and then I took that mentality, went into
college and basically did all electives my freshman year. So
by the time my senior year rolled around, my life
was literal hell and I was doing all academics like
eighteen hours and like I saw Earth semester, but yeah,

(48:47):
shout out Ronnie Adcock and the brentwin Hig immediate team.

Speaker 9 (48:49):
We were reigning like seven time champions because they did.

Speaker 7 (48:53):
So let's go all right our last one, because I
feel like we've been going for a minute. What was
everybody these first thoughts good and bad about each other?
And how has that changed? I feel like that's a
that's one. That's the question I wanted to ask Delaney
when he came, but he misunderstood.

Speaker 5 (49:11):
So what's the question?

Speaker 7 (49:12):
So, like, what was your first thoughts about like when
Coop when he got hired, Derek when he got hired GP.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Obviously you knew Jack and like everybody's first thoughts.

Speaker 6 (49:24):
The thing for me, I was like when I was
getting the job, Jack had sent me an email like
excited to work with you maybe like I think we
know one of the same people. And so then I
went to I might have even said this last week
or not, but I went to Jack's Instagram. I'm seeing
some of the videos he's editing, and I was like,
oh no, like I cannot edit this good and this

(49:47):
is now I'm gonna have to be I gotta I
gotta figure something out. I feel like it was like
a Hawaii video or something.

Speaker 9 (49:54):
Probably the best fee I'll ever d it.

Speaker 6 (49:56):
So I was like, man, this is gonna be tough,
but it was I don't know, like for me, it
all happened so fast, and the brand was moving pretty fast,
so I got like my legit first day that I
probably even met y'all was the same day that Portnoy came.
So they're like they're super busy, and.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
I feel like I don't remember even like exchanging words
really that day.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Not at all.

Speaker 5 (50:23):
I remember saying what's up, and but that's really it.

Speaker 8 (50:26):
Like you got integrated so fast too, and it's like, yeah,
I know I can remember times before you were there,
but like the only I just remember Josh, Yeah, tall Josh, Josh.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
I appreciate Yeah.

Speaker 5 (50:41):
Oh, I mean, I guess I'm to do I go.

Speaker 9 (50:43):
Through how editing has gotten since then.

Speaker 6 (50:48):
That when Mitch came, I mean we were I was
interviewing Mitch with Will, which was hilarious because it was
the whole thing is so crazy. Yeah, and uh, I
don't know, I mean first and every single first impression
was positive and like you're the same person. You're just
like a more confident version of the person you were

(51:09):
when you walked in Coop.

Speaker 5 (51:12):
Same thing.

Speaker 6 (51:13):
It was just Coops a silent killer. I don't know,
like it's it's kind of a tough question.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
It is like a tough guy.

Speaker 7 (51:20):
Like for me, like obviously I was a fan of
Busting before everything, so I knew like you three and
like so not that I was I'm gonna say starstruck
when I met you guys, but.

Speaker 9 (51:30):
You can say that I was like ahead of us.

Speaker 7 (51:33):
These guys are like, these are dope, These these three
are the one and Blas shout out Blas, He's coming
on He's coming on the pod soon. But like it
was dope to finally get to meet you guys, and
like me, JP and g had like our desk situation
kind of weird. And then Jack just worked in the bus,

(51:53):
so I wasn't like I was the least close with
you for the longest time. Yeah, and then the more
we went on trips together, the closer we got. And like,
it's funny because I'm pretty sure my contact in your
phone is still Mitch intern of course, so then like
that's another hilarioustory. Jack thought I was an intern this
entire time.

Speaker 8 (52:11):
Let's let's shout the record traate Mitch was an intern
at one point. I admit it, but I just remember
that and I was like, are you kidding me?

Speaker 9 (52:18):
I was like, wait, so you've just been getting paid
the whole time you've been here.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 7 (52:22):
I got hired in September and then we went to
the Arizona Super Bowl trip. And that's what I'm like,
damn if.

Speaker 9 (52:27):
That's crazy that it took like six months to be like,
so like congrats.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
Yeah, you literally like dapped me up. Hey, congrats, bro,
I'm like, bro, I've been here the whole time.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
If you did that in the green room, he did
show Yes.

Speaker 9 (52:38):
Congrats a little dog, welcome to the big leagues.

Speaker 7 (52:42):
And Coop was so quiet, like he didn't really do
like he just every once in a while he'd like
just come in with like a one liner that's like
kind of funny.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
We're like, this guy should talk.

Speaker 7 (52:53):
More, and here I am, he's getting better at it.
And Derek like I didn't even know really like what
Derek was doing here? Who we will like who really
he was? I'm like, this guy's here a lot.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
Who is this guy wandered in the door and then
then he's like, oh, that's the news for the Dad's guy.
I'm like, oh shit, that's sick and.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Like it's just turned on the that's the new for
the Dad's guy.

Speaker 3 (53:15):
Yeah, And then I'm like then someone was like, yeah,
Derek's from Pa too.

Speaker 7 (53:20):
I'm like, no shit. And then that's when I went up,
finally went I was to Derek. I'm like, bro, my
bad for being so weird for so long, but nice
to meet you, but yeah, that's mine.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
I feel like, and this is to everyone's credit for
that was here when I got here, Like obviously all
were super cool. We kind of talked last week about
for my first week was a spiral a lot of
crazy stuf happening, but I feel like you guys were
all super cool and and like I said, to your credit,
I feel like y'all haven't really changed much since that
first day, which is obviously huge because like you know,

(53:54):
you could have been like, oh, like welcome new guy,
and then uh, you know, things just like slowly every
time it's just like different. But I've feel like it's
been the same the whole time, which is like for
me big and then everyone that everyone else that's that's
came in like good impressions for them too. Like Jared
was super cool right away, sherm. I had already done
a little bit through the remote work that he did.
He's cool and obviously full of energy, like Derek coming

(54:17):
in great fit. All the interns is great fits. So
like it's been great first impressions and like really just
I feel like not a whole lot of maybe I'm
just not paying attention, but no, but I feel like
it's been pretty consistent with everybody, which is pretty good
thing in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Sure, yeah, I mean have it watching everyone like come
on month after month, year after year is so funny
because like I don't know, being with busting, like from
early on, you're still just like trying to figure out
what all of it is, and then you see more
guys get added and you're like, okay, so that must
mean like things are good.

Speaker 9 (54:50):
Just coming to work, just a record and that's it.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
And then yeah, that's how it was for a year
plus for sure.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
So yeah, like having JP come on was awesome because
all I'm like, you're thinking about is we do need
another person to help get this work done because I'm
not trying to be here till one am. And then
that same thing like when Mitch gets here and then
you're adding pieces where you're like, Okay, now we're able
to like get more done and you're not like drained

(55:19):
at the end of the day. So that was my
first impression of building a team. And yeah, everyone got along.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Everyone was super chill.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
Like I sat in on some of the interview process
with Coop and after the very first time we talked
to him all the other people, I was like, we
know who we like, it was not even close. So
if you applied, sorry, there's a reason Coops here.

Speaker 5 (55:42):
Can I road you say a quick funny story about
my interview? Yeah, I feel like I know what you're
gonna say.

Speaker 4 (55:47):
Maybe cause I mean I did a couple of interviews.
You were on a couple of them. My last interview
with Will and Taylor, the first time I talked to them,
it was like five minutes. Felt like I was getting punked.
They kind of just peppered me and then which I expected,
like I knew.

Speaker 5 (56:01):
I was like, this is what they do.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
Uh, just from like an outsider's perspective. They said, I
thank you, hung up. And that night was the night
they went on the Manning cast and I went to
like an Atlanta Hawks game with my friend and I
was just nervous the whole night. I was like, what
did Like what the hell just happened to me? The
next day I got called it off for the job,
but I was like that interview probably wasn't even it
was probably just like the fuck around.

Speaker 3 (56:23):
Yeah, That's how I felt. My interview was with JP
and Will and like that was only like ten minutes.
Like did I hope? I? I think I said the
same thing like three times. I just want to help
JP out and take things off of his play. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (56:34):
My interviews with g the ones that he was on,
were much more serious and talking about role and the
graphics that I had done and will Taylor. My final review,
I was like, that's it, Like I'm there, nah, But.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
I mean that's that's why it's fun. And I'll say,
like getting to be a part of like helping see
who's gonna come in the building does help create the
vibe we have in here, because like he just did
it with these interns and you're watching all these people
apply and all these kids apply, and you're like your

(57:06):
first judgment, You're like, all right, is he gonna like
be cool to hang out with every day?

Speaker 5 (57:10):
And does he do good work? And does he work hard?

Speaker 1 (57:13):
And does he care about the brand? And I just
feel like it's funny that we've somehow built a team
of people that somehow are so similar but also so
different and everyone can bust balls laugh like it's I
don't know, it's a great environment.

Speaker 6 (57:30):
I'll say that I think it's funny to see too,
the different like clicks. It's not because it's not a
clique office, but obviously you like gravitated towards people.

Speaker 4 (57:37):
It's like romance of like what we voted on last year. Yeah,
random romance is that.

Speaker 5 (57:41):
But it's the perfect.

Speaker 6 (57:44):
And that's what like, it's so fluid and it's a
perfect amount because you should have people that you're closer
with than people that you don't, just because that's the
nature of people.

Speaker 5 (57:54):
But it's so funny to watch it shift between got.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
A guy and that is so true and about it changing.
It has changed this year. Fantasy footballs help with that
a lot.

Speaker 3 (58:03):
Yeah, yeah, I'm sure it has. It's also cool to
see like.

Speaker 5 (58:09):
Matthews, it's just JP's scary teams.

Speaker 7 (58:13):
Yeah, but also it's kind of cool to see like
mostly for well, definitely for you guys, but like kind
of for the four of us and Coop two starting
the office over there and like what that was to
what we have now, and like what that side looks
like now.

Speaker 5 (58:27):
Versus what it used to and then like working don't
get it there, yeah, working like under.

Speaker 7 (58:31):
Here versus for like however long and then finally moving
back there and like all of the different Like I
feel like we've worked in like six different spots, all
in the same building.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
Y'all were fully over here by the time I got here,
and I did spend like several months half the year
last year downstairs in that like with Jack next say, like.

Speaker 9 (58:50):
Before the bromance of the year first got brought up.

Speaker 5 (58:53):
If we didn't get split up, we might have been.

Speaker 9 (58:55):
We and Cooper are deacimates.

Speaker 8 (58:57):
And I remember, like in the first few weeks, I
knew I was gon like Coop because we've all said it,
like Silent Assassin, but his Internet humor and reach is
so peak that like he has like if if the
Internet language was existent, he'd be fluent in it in
so many ways, and like the ability he has to

(59:17):
send you.

Speaker 9 (59:17):
Some niche random video that pertains to some joke. I'll
never get over it.

Speaker 8 (59:22):
And I just remember being like, dude, me and this
guy are gonna fit together show perfectly. And then I
remember when we made the change over there y'all probably
remember I was. I was so upset and hesitating.

Speaker 9 (59:33):
I was like, what the fuck are we doing?

Speaker 8 (59:35):
And honestly think it was and I'll drop the meme later,
but it was because of the he who should not
be named, because it was really his idea, and honestly,
in hindsight, I'm glad it worked out. But I never
had like any negative like start outs with anybody my
I think my favorite thing looking back on it all,
is how specialized everyone's individual role is now because back

(59:57):
you know, back in the everyone would just wore Li
twenty different hats and it's like you just picked up
slack or slack need to be picked up. And now
it's like we have so many just carved out roles
where it's like you're gonna be creating graphics and then
you run our merch and you're doing blogs and producing
and like everyone sitting here has done like all of
those roles encompassed in one. But when we were trying

(01:00:18):
to hire for a secondary social guy, Steven and me
were on drop the meme, we were on calls, and
I sat him with the last three guys. I wanted
this one kid who clearly had a background in socials,
he clearly like new sports, this and that, and Steven
basically you know, went over my head and he hired Jared,

(01:00:39):
and so the like take everything we know about Jared
out the window.

Speaker 9 (01:00:42):
This is just Jared showing up.

Speaker 8 (01:00:44):
Jared a at the like first few weeks has nothing
to do with the social role. I was so upset,
so I was like, I need someone to help me
on the weekends. And then we bring in a guy
who literally doesn't know what the sport of football is,
and so I remember.

Speaker 9 (01:01:01):
Kind of like not be good.

Speaker 8 (01:01:02):
And I've told Jared this before, Like the first like
month or two, I did not dislike Jared, but I
was not giving him his fair shot because of something
that Steven had really kind of done to him. And
then now Jared's like one of my favorite guys ever
and like he's my dude.

Speaker 9 (01:01:18):
But I just remember be so with him, so confused.

Speaker 6 (01:01:26):
Where Jared said something that like did not match y'all's
relationship at all at the time, and I just remember
sitting my desk, sinking into my chair, thinking, like, I
know Jared's joking, but I also know that these two
do not talk that much and this is not gonna end.

Speaker 8 (01:01:40):
Well, it took Jared probably like three months to get
to where we can just bust balls. And now, like
I said, like truly, Jared is one of my favorite
people I've ever worked with, and like works his ass
off and he has found his like specific role, Like
he's very specialized in what he does. And it's not
like he's good on social media, but he's not good
at running the bus in social media up for obviously

(01:02:00):
with the sports. But man, there were a few months
where like I just like just didn't give him a
chance and didn't talk to him, and that that's on me.
So I'm glad that I have since.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
You had that trip with him to Vegas, and I
feel like you all watched the beef.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
We were definitely cool before then, but.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
Recently got cool a couple months ago when we did
go on that trip.

Speaker 8 (01:02:21):
Me and him both like at the end, We're like, dude,
I think we just kind of elevated from being like
coworkers and friends being like legitimately like good friends.

Speaker 9 (01:02:28):
And I was like, dude, I couldn't set it better myself,
Like tearing up like that.

Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
Is definitely Jared, I love you, bro.

Speaker 4 (01:02:36):
Right away.

Speaker 7 (01:02:37):
He almost did that at the at the party of
my house. At the party of my house, he's like,
got around you guys, was like, you know what, I'm
not going to say.

Speaker 9 (01:02:45):
That's what separated me and him to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:02:49):
And then I think it was a few.

Speaker 8 (01:02:50):
Months, like a month after that, where me and him
because I was already close with all of you guys,
and then me and Jarry were like, let's.

Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
Yeah, Jack.

Speaker 11 (01:02:58):
We quizzed him yesterday and he's celebrated reaching seven starting
quarterbacks in the NFL, and he got hired to run
the social here is the fun and I was I
did not know he got hired to do social. I
knew Jared from Barstool intern contact, and so I just
assumed everyone here had their rules forever, but to think
like he celebrated at seven and he cheated on three

(01:03:19):
of them.

Speaker 7 (01:03:19):
But socials so funny because like I was boys with
Jared for like a year before he started working here,
and I told him, I'm like, you need to start
watching football because that's what you're going to be doing
and we are a football brand.

Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
He's like, all right, all right. He came over one
night and we were just sitting on our roof for
like an hour and a half just talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
It's kind of refreshing that he doesn't know, because it
makes the conversation that much better.

Speaker 5 (01:03:46):
And I do appreciate that he embraces it. Embraces it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
But like the him, like pursuing comedy and like wanting
to be in that world is just a nice outside
element that it's not just a bunch of guys are
like football team.

Speaker 4 (01:04:01):
If Jared learns football, I'll be pissed. At this point,
he kind of just can't.

Speaker 5 (01:04:06):
He's not going to what about you, Derek?

Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
For your first impressions of everybody? Obviously they know this higher.

Speaker 11 (01:04:10):
No, it was uh like, I'll say, even first impression
on after Coop, Derek's my favorite higher. Let's go appreciate that,
I would say, just going down the line like JP,
I think it was my second day you came up
and you said, hey, I'm so sorry I didn't get
to talk to you first day. I'm just like it
was just the nicest most like, oh cool, this is
someone that can go like it was like when he
transfer schools and you're like, I don't know who to
ask for a pencil. I'm like, oh cool, I can

(01:04:31):
ask JP for a pencil if that comes up. Mitchie,
I was like, this guy doesn't like me for like
two straight weeks, not for anything bad. I was just like,
the fuck, I gotta like tickle this guy or.

Speaker 5 (01:04:39):
Something, you know.

Speaker 11 (01:04:41):
As soon as like we had the PA connection, it
was great and I was like, oh, you're just you
take your job, not that everyone doesn't, but you take
your job very serious and you're very proud of what
you control.

Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
So I thought that was cool.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Jackie were like the cool kid.

Speaker 9 (01:04:51):
In school and I very much was like, took us
thirty nine days.

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
It took us.

Speaker 8 (01:04:55):
The day that you got hired full time was when
I was like, hey, man, I'm gonna take an interest
in your life. I love it everything going on your desk.
I'm like, what's tomorrow? And You're like, well, I actually
just got hired. This is over and I was like,
fuck you got I guess I remember when you came
on the other week. I had a moment that night
and I was like, dude, I fucking I texted Derek.
I was like, dude, I'm I'm just stokedy. You're here, man,

(01:05:16):
such a good addition to the That was a very
nice said it earlier. I was like for the first
couple of days, everyone I was like, who is this?
I was like, is this one of like the Michigan guys?
We did another internship?

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
Like I will say, I think also you being close
in age to us older guys, like, it feels.

Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
Good that we because we were adding too many younger guys.

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
I brought it up to my does that mean I'm
even on twenty seven?

Speaker 5 (01:05:44):
As soon as I turned twenty six, I felt like afro.

Speaker 8 (01:05:46):
Derek says, I saw a list of yeah, the names
and numbers and I'll give that and we can end
with that.

Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
But no, no, no, you're good. You're good. Yeah, but
I love that you're old. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
No, I explained my fiance.

Speaker 11 (01:06:01):
I was like, well, I'm kind of like with the
older guys and there's a younger group of guys, but
I hang out with them because the older guys do
the show, so I don't really have.

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
A place yet.

Speaker 5 (01:06:08):
I was like, I'll figure it out.

Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
Gee.

Speaker 11 (01:06:09):
Uh connected instantly with you, like our friendship has grown.
But the day that you and Shuham did shang high
Knights in a karate stance, I was like, this dude Fox,
Like I can't explain up till then because I was like, oh,
can I interest you in being interested in But instantly
I was like, yeah, it's the dude. And then Coop
from day one has probably been like the guy that
I clicked with the hardest instantly, just because like we
were always sitting there when everyone was doing the shows
and stuff and so seed boys and stream room stuff,

(01:06:31):
and just like instantly I was like, oh no, no,
I found another like I can borrow a pencil guy with.

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
Coop, and you're like that guy knows ball we're talking
about so well.

Speaker 11 (01:06:38):
And that's the other thing is you guys all love
college football so fucking much. Coop was the only guy
I was like, Oh, I can talk NFL ball. Finally, Yeah,
Brian's also very good at that. Ryan Ryan knows ball.

Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
But and like I noticed it yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
Or the other he might be the biggest ball nowhere.

Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
Pump the brakes on that.

Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
I mean, I have to have him on next week.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
He I'm saying he might.

Speaker 12 (01:07:02):
He.

Speaker 5 (01:07:02):
I mean, he's like, do you know college basketball?

Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
That's not that's not ball though, That's.

Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Not Okay, get your round ball out of here, bro.

Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
Get the I'm talking ball talking football, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
I feel like he would go total wonder.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
We might have to we might have to prepall she
like football.

Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
He's like you, I know way more than you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
All Right, we might have to prep something for a
face off between Ryan also.

Speaker 7 (01:07:30):
And a math a math off, because I'm going to
withdraw from that math equation stuff. Yesterday we were doing.

Speaker 5 (01:07:38):
Spork Have you done sporkle?

Speaker 4 (01:07:39):
I feel like I know you're talking.

Speaker 11 (01:07:41):
It's a trillion trivia things on sports. It's like all
the quarterbacks drafted since the eighties stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
Have you ever done like the Weddle, the Daily Draft,
im y n Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:07:53):
Also we might need to revisit having all the interns
back on, yeah, ball off or something. But all right,
so there are there are six different categories of ages
as a guy, what you can be related to, and
so eight to fourteen is the l ens and that
is the little you know what I'm talking about, Like

(01:08:15):
Awaiian it's ellens little boys, you know, from fifteen eight
to fourteen, from fifteen to twenty five, that's the wayans.

Speaker 9 (01:08:25):
We all know what a Hawaiian is.

Speaker 8 (01:08:27):
We're not gonna say it. It's age fifteen to twenty five.
Twenty six to thirty five is big bro, which is huge,
huge for all of us because the unk gets thrown
around a lot, like you could be twenty two getting
unked out and it's like chill out.

Speaker 5 (01:08:45):
So it's just.

Speaker 9 (01:08:47):
No thirty five this guy, I can't wait for Christmas anyways,
Big Bro.

Speaker 8 (01:08:54):
Thirty six to forty four years old is unk status
ogs or the forty five to fifth five year olds.
And then this guy in this video was funny, really
well done video. He said, if you fifty five sixty seventy.
He goes, respect your elders. So we got Ellen's Wyan's
big bros unks ogs and elders.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Is gonna be nice.

Speaker 8 (01:09:15):
Yeah, Will and Taylor are still big Bro because it
is it Will thirty five or thirty six.

Speaker 9 (01:09:20):
Oh, then Will's unk.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Is officially Will Delaneer.

Speaker 9 (01:09:24):
I like that there's something between hyan and and big.

Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
Bre big Bro. I kind of do like UNK to
be honest, I don't hate it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
When do you have to get to unk?

Speaker 5 (01:09:34):
Thirty got promoted the big Bro, so I'm there.

Speaker 8 (01:09:36):
I feel like on the status if you want to,
you can take yourself up a thing. You can't take
yourself down a status.

Speaker 9 (01:09:44):
You can go up.

Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
I mean you can't go to elder, but you can
go to with those you can only go one.

Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Yeah, with those rankings in our office, like the three
new interns are Ellen's. We just call him a little
Drew coop Jared Jared Sure, Yeah, well, I guess I'm
going off of higher crazy crazy, I'm going off of higher.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Eventually, I'm starting to see what Derek is talking about
more and more.

Speaker 9 (01:10:13):
Come on, I see that video of my malone. He
goes some why in with the devil emoji exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
JP looked at me and said, coop Jared and.

Speaker 6 (01:10:24):
Me, Well, I didn't finish it. I was just trying
to process. Then I quickly realized I need to stop
that process.

Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
Jared ain't big bro yet? No, he why in Yeah,
I'm big bro.

Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
It is crazy me that Jared's only a year older
than the youngest people here.

Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
Yeah, you're two years older. You're year older than Jared,
two years older than.

Speaker 5 (01:10:45):
Episode. Oh the Coop episode that close. I wish I
would have I wish I would have caught Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:10:53):
An hour later, he's like, oh, go ahead and close
this out, big bro.

Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
What are we right now?

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Twenty six Jesus, Oh, hurry quick.

Speaker 4 (01:11:03):

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
