a wild card. I mean,you ended the playoff drout last year,

then it's not too far from lastyear when they had the fourteen game winning

streak. Now at twenty what werethey last year? The last year,
and everyone just keeps referencing last yearand where their record was at this point
and their head of this point.Yeah, but there wasn't the same expectations
last year that there were on thisyear's team. Right, this year's team
was coming off ninety wins, agreat series against Toronto when they owned you
know, they just there was anawesome series, and then they were in

a really ultra highly competitive series againstHouston that I think when that wrapped up
disappointing as it was, everyone's reactionafter that was, Okay, this team
is ready to take the next stepin the upper echelon teams of the American
League. The winner passes by.We get into the season and we're talking

about a team that a has notburied themselves this ton of baseball left and
we all agree that what the pitchingstaff that they're gonna be there all season
long. They can just get alittle bit more. But that's not what
this was supposed to be. Whatthis was supposed to be so far through
fifty seven fifty eight games, wasthat they're not six and a half games

back in the division that they're leadingthe division or they're a game or two
out of the division, that it'sa neck and neck with them right now,
and it's not neck and neck withTexas or And we didn't think it
was probably gonna be Texas, butI thought it was gonna be Houston.
And keep in mind with Houston,who they haven't had for a while.

You know, they haven't had ltwo of a he's finally back, and
he's been back now for a whata week or two. They haven't had
one of the best pitchers all seasonlong. Keep that in mind with Lance
mccolors, and and you know,Verlander's gone, and so I just think
to not be I think I saidyesterday he would you know, I thought
they'd be kind of where Texas is, and that's that was incorrect. I

thought where Houston is right now atthirty two and twenty three, I thought
at this point they should have beenseven eight games over five hundred. Yeah,
you just you don't want to getinto that situation. I mean,
they they beat Toronto two games inToronto, and it was terrific. We
all enjoyed that, but I mean, after ending a twenty one year playoff
Droute. You'd like to see yourteam at home, which which you were

able to do, but you don'twant to go into a situation where you're
on the road in the wild cardround because you're really lucky to get out
of that because typically the home teamsare gonna advance in that situation. So,
yeah, I'm with you. Idon't necessarily know if this year's team
is better than the last year's team. What do you think would happen in
a three game series with the lastyear's team against this year's team. I

think it'd be it would go twoout of three to one or the other.
It wouldn't be a suite by eitherone. Well, I would say
I think the starting pitching as awhole is better. Yeah, I mean
if you had if you played lastyear's team before you acquired Castio, that'd
be one be different. Okay,but okay, but okay, let's just
say that last year's teams gets stillgets cast Steel, but we've added Bryce
Miller. Bryce Mill is just anupgrade over Robbie Ray. Yeah, and

then now you're seeing more, you'reseeing a better version of George Kirby.
But is the lineup better like everybody, you know, people who follow this
stuff, they continue to say theythink the lineup is better, and I'm
not so sure that it is,but you know, I think it's a
flip of the coin. Really well, that's I mean, we could you

know, we can look it upto I mean, makes it better.
Hernandez is worse than Handiger though,well the Handier was didn't how many games
did he played? True, butthe upgrade with kell Nick maybe gives it
a slight edge because you didn't,yeah that he was numb, and then
Wong was a downgraded second. SoI think it gives you an edge there.
I mean, I don't know whatphrasers. I would have to compare

Frasier's numbers at this point with whereWong was out, I mean, which
is easily you know, be done. I mean, what do we played
fifty seven games right now, sevenand pull up Wong's numbers? What?
