of that. But he never gotdown. He kept working and kept smiling,

and you know, things starting toturn a little bit. Guys with
you know, track records, who'vebeen there before, done it in an
All Star before, you figure they'regoing to turn things around. And he's
certainly doing that. And it's goodto see, not just for him,
but for this offense. As we'veseen the last couple of series, the
offense has just not been producing.It has not been pretty at all these

last couple of series. So forhim to do that, but then to
score four, which seems to bekind of the magic number. They have
really good records when they score atleast four, and to see the pitching
come back, to see Moonio's comeback, you know, that was a
good sign for them trying to finishup this trip here. And then also
three with the Angels what did whatdid you The overall game we talked about

in the in the first hour justfelt like their most complete game of the
season and very reminiscent here of howthey played last year. The home runs
still sprinkled in with some strikeouts.They're starting, pitching is lockdown with Logan
Gilbert, especially that final aiming forhim in the seventh and then moon Yo's
in the bullpen coming through. Whatwas the reaction from the players and maybe

even Scott's service. Did they feelthat that was maybe their best and most
complete game of the season. Absolutely, it was a very Mariner type win,
and Skipper said that it was goodto get back to doing you know
what they do well, which exactlyis that good pitching which we saw.
He said, it's just, youknow what a luxury to have Munnos and

Seawall to go eight and nine,Gilbert does his thing, and then you
know, you wait around for acouple of big hits, and they didn't
get a lot of hits, butthey got two home runs and that was
enough and a very kind of youknow again, how they're built. Like
we talked about low scoring games andwinning close games. I know it was
four to one not super close,but games that they have to win.

Take advantage when they do get thegood pitching, don't waste it like they've
done so many times with lack ofoffense. And it was good to seeing
guys you know, were thinking,hey, this could you know, hopefully
start something going, get things going, Like I said, finished this trip
right, get home and start going. I mean, thirty and thirty is
not terrible. I mean, Iknow a lot of people think they're already
out of the West and it isgonna be really hard to catch back up.

But you know, with one hundredand two games to go, it's
certainly a lot can still happen.I mean, it's not terrible, but
it's not good. It's over theremoaning while you're talking like that fair to
say, okay, not not buyingthat bad. Let is it fair to
say it's not terrible but it's notgood. I agree, I agree not
with anybody, us included, andthey included, you know, expected them

to be. I mean, thirtyand thirty, that's you know, they
were a worst record last year,ended up with winning ninety games. But
you know this year is different.I mean, the East is loaded teams
of you know, uh, loadedup in the American League. It's I
think it's going to take more thanninety to get that last wild art spot.
You know, if you're not talkingabout winning the West. You know
the Rangers are playing out of theirheads. We saw that over the weekend.

But losing to Grom, I thinkis going to hurt them certainly long
run. Um their bullpen is stillreal shaky. Their offense is just red
hot. But you know, wonderif Baltimore keeps things up. You wonder
what Toronto's gonna do. I don'tthink the Angels, I think they're a
game ahead. I don't think they'rea threat at all. Houston's obviously gonna
be it. So it's it's gonnabe hard, not just to win the

West, but to get to ninetywins and ninety plus to get to the
wild Card. But again, onehundred two games ago, a lot can
happen. The deadline's coming up.I think I convinced the Mariners are going
to be active and do something,maybe even something big at the deadline.

boy, last night, seeing Munio'scome back and be in mid season

an hour there. Yeah, itwas great. We just talked to him

key for him last night is tobe able to pitch, throw everything,
throw a hundred and then feel reallygood today. No pain in the elbow,

knowing things would kind of turn around. I think this year it's a little
bit different. Expectations were heightened,you know, there was so much talk
about winning the West and playoffs andstuff. I think the slow start,

Everybody's kind of searching for things.Like there's no panics, certainly, but
it's more like, hey, youknow, this isn't good. We need
to turn things around, like now, like they understand that they can't say,
oh, you know, we'll beokay for another fifty games. Like
they understand that things need to change. They need to do things different.

And the Skipper talked about that lastnight. You know, they had meetings
and try to do something differently offensively, and you saw better results last night.
You know, they're just trying tobe consistent in trying to kind of
get back to their approach and whatthey were doing. And but I do
feel that they're more kind of asense of urgency with these guys, which,

you know, I think it's good. I think it's good that they're
not saying, you know, everything'sgonna be just fine, you know,
went off to do anything different.They do have to do things differently,
and they realize that, and they'recertainly, um, you know, on
their way to hopefully fixing some things. Okay, Brad, so as kell
Nick built up up enough equity thatwe shouldn't be concerned about his recent struggles.
I was just looking one for hislast seven team of eleven strikeouts.

moved around a little bit in thelineup leadoff in Texas. He's back hitting

to move him up to three,three or four in the lineup, and
he just hasn't been the same typeof hitter. I don't know if that's

up hitter now. UM, Idon't know, it'd be interesting to kind
of see kind of how he finishesup, you know, before the All
Star break, because his numbers saythat, you know, he could be

doesn't look like he's chasing a lot, but but he sure is striking out
a lot and then he's swinging andmissing a lot like we saw last night.

I've caused on that front. Again, I have to own that as

entire nine eleven community has been betrayedby Commissioner Monahan and the PGA, as
it appears they're concerned for our lovedones was merely window dressing in their quest
for money. It was never tohonor the great game of golf. And
you know, listen, I knowthis is because what we're getting into now
with sports and geopolitical and this isthe element that people don't want to get

into because they come here for theseparation of it. You can't separate this
story though, you just can.It is There's there's no way you can
separate what they're doing. And Iknow what the reaction is and I text
line isn't working. I just Iknow what it's going to be right away.

response. And this whole topic thatpeople bring up every time, you,
me and everyone, we do nothave a choice where we get our gas.

everything else. And I think nosport is immune to them because they've got
money. Is they are trying tomake you forget, to put blinders on,
and if we throw enough money atyou, you'll forget what we did

it really and so why so anyonethat defends it and calls the hypocrisy of
everyone, I'd like you to gotalk to Terry Strata, just call her
a hypocrite. Well, you couldtell that Monahan was fishing for words there
because he had a long pause beforehe collected himself and proceeded to say that
he completely understood where she was comingfrom. If he completely understood where she

was coming from, then this dealwould have never taken place. And you
know, it's just in the bestinterest to the sport, and everybody knows
it's a bunch of bs. Buthe just was trying to cover himself and
didn't go well well with the players. It's not going well with anybody today.

X amount of millions. So yeah, I mean, yeah, you don't
blame DJ that that full swing whenhe was talking about it. Yeah,
you can disagree with DJ stance anddisagree and be maybe disappointed, may maybe
disappointed in his decision, but youcan I can respect him just being honest

like what Dustin Johnson get? Wasit like two or three hundred million?
