was kind of the goal going in. And you're right, Um, Texas

be there all year, all nextyear, all a couple of years.
You know, it's just the waythey're built. And you know it's the

Miller's been been a great addition tothis rotation. Um. He gave them,

they're fine, you know, Marco'spitching great. I again, no
concerns right now, but there willbe a point, I guess when it
gets concerned time. And I'm justthey've dominated the A's. Everyone's dominated the

A's and and so that's not aother except for the Braves. But you
know they've got they've got a recordof six and eleven right now. And
again it's it's just seventeen games,and these are all just one series that
they've played. But you know,they've got a losing record against everyone that's
above them right now in the playoffsminus Houston, and so I think the

pessimistic fan would say, Okay,well it's great that they're beating up on
Oakland in Detroit where they won thisseries in Colorado, but when they have
to face playoff caliber teams, they'renot delivering right now. And then I
think the one thing that's a littlebit concerning is as a Brad, they
the last two years were so goodin these one run close games. And

I don't know what if there's this, you know, a measure or a
statistic that tells you, well,why is this team better than one run
games or none? Is there alittle bit luck that's involved in those one
run games. I think we hadall acknowledged that there is the ball bounces
your way sometimes, but you makeyour own luck, You've got a good
bullpen and all that. So thelast couple of years they were really on
the kind of the razors edge ofthings, and it just hasn't gone their

way. Is that a cause ofconcern though? Moving forward for them?
Especially Jim brought this up earlier.I mean, their schedule is gonna get
a lot tougher here in the nextcouple months. Yeah, Jude doesn't look
great in July. Good points.I would say to that, yes,
that that would be a concern goingforward, for sure. You know a
lot of these teams that they've lostseries two, it's been pretty close,

two out of three and they scoredfirst two games, they scored two runs
and they split and they won thelast game and they four to three against
Castillo. So I think the gameshave been low scoring, they've been close,

your guys' point, that would bea concern for me if they cannot win

close games. One and two rungames. They need to dominate. They
have the last two years, asyou said, puck And that's how they're
set up, that's how they play. They use the bullpen a lot,
they can extend games. They shouldbe great in extra inning games. You
know, they added a little bitoffense, they thought in this offseason with
Hernandez and Wong. It's worked outa little bit, but they're hoping to

get the offense a little bit betterso they can win these games. You
know, they're kind of regressing tothe mean, right. They were so
good they led the majors in onerun wins the last two years. You
figured it was gonna turn, andit has turned so far. But yeah,
that's the one thing to look at. And I would say if they
cannot win these games, because they'regonna play a ton of them, which

can't win like they have been andcome out on top of these, it's

set up, that's how they play. They use the bullpen a lot,
they can extend games. They shouldbe great in extra inning games. You
know, they added a little bitoffense, they thought in this offseason with
Hernandez and Wong. It's worked outa little bit, but they're hoping to

get the offense a little bit betterso they can win these games. You
know, they're kind of regressing tothe mean, right. They were so
good they led the majors in onerun wins the last two years. You
figured it was gonna turn, andit has turned so far. But yeah,
that's the one thing to look at. And I would say if they
cannot win these games, because they'regonna play a ton of them, which

where they pitch and where their offensehas just been. Okay, if they
can't win like they have been andcome out on top of these, it's
gonna be it's gonna be a longyear going forward, for sure. Hey,
Brad Puckett was mentioning the other dayabout having Taoska Hernandez as your everyday
DH and moving kell Nick over toright field and then kind of mixing and
matching I guess with Pollock maybe evenmore gets back Haggarty and whoever else out

Scott's service were to ask you,Brad Adam what what he should do at

It's like, do they go gethim again? Right? Do they add

to get get a dh at thedeadline? Somebody like a Santana who was
so good and Julio calls his dad, you know, Um, that would
make a lot of sense. Butif they were not going to add anyone.
I think I would still leave Hernandezout there in right sealed. I
just think that defensively, he's betterthan what you're gonna get I think from

Tamel or Moore, and offensively youjust kind of piece it together like they
have Ben. I know, it'sno idea when you have Haggar to be
the DH like it was last night. Um. That's why I think that
there's a chance that they can goand get somebody. You get a bat.
I don't know if you need aposition guy right now, really,
um, but to get a batlike a Santana get him again. We
saw what he did last year thedeadline moved, so I mean that would

make a lot of sense to me. But I think that they do need
to upgrade that. But I don'tknow if they need to add a specific
