city will host two major independency events. So they're going
to do the traditional Inner Harbor fireworks and a special
celebration in Cherry Hill. So the Inner Harbor festivities begin
six pm, with fireworks starting in nine thirty. The Cherry
Hill Arts and Music Waterfront Festival is going to go

from ten am to ten pm at Middle Branch Park
and then, for the first time, the Cherry Hill celebration
will include a drone show, which is scheduled four nine
thirty at night, which sounds pretty cool, but the mayor
emphasized both events will have strong security plans in place.
So the DC Council is considering a delay in voting
on a deal to build a new stadium for the Commanders.

The councils reportedly discussed removing several stadium related measures from
the twenty twenty sixth budget, and there's a social media
post that went out from a council member saying money
the deal would be left in the budget, but any
vote would likely be delayed until this fall. Council members
have previously objected to new next month's deadline to approve
the deal, saying they have not had enough time to

investigate the proposal. Mayor Bowser issued a stayman yesterday saying
any deal in approving any delay in approving the deal
is likely to kill the agreement.

is asking for help after being selected to perform in
a special international event.

my house from walking skittles. I like this small tree,
and I like, my front yard is maybe three feet

that I started to kind of die last year, I think,
and then another tree sprout up. Yeah, but like another
tree sprout out kind of from it. So like the
dead trees at twelve, the new tree was at like one,

so to speak. And so yes, I'm like, I should
look at this thing. I realized that new tree was
like if you sneezed on it, it was going to
follow my neighbor's driveway. I was able to take it
down by hand, pull it down. But now I got
a big old dead tree still in the front yard
that need to have like professionally taken out. No, it's
like it's like the whole it's probably like ten feet tall.

Because I told you years ago that tree is dying. Yeah,
but he said it was half dead.

Yeah. I was kind of hoping that the new one
would still be like to grow through it. Yeah, and
it turns out no. So, uh, this is very exciting
because I've had a horrendous time with Hoa's you really have.
Like I had to replace my roof because there was
storm damage and the HIOA sent me saying, hey, you
replace your roof without geting permission, and I said, well,

it was leaking water into the walls the original things
said like, you need to restore back to its original state,
which I said, Okay, I don't think my neighbors want
me leaking into their walls either. If I was a
beton man, it's.

Awesome odd because it's not like you got like a
different roof color, exact same thing. So it just looked
newer because of the sun not hitting it. So it
was new roof.

Yeah. So and let me just say this, that's one
of those home improvement things nobody wants to do. It
doesn't change your quality of life, uns it's leaking.

It's just like, sorry to interrupt you, what about the
neighbor's tree.

But yeah, my old neighbor tree was laying on my
house on my fence. They wouldn't get involved. That's very exciting.
So long story short, if you know, like a tree
meable service or like landscaping in Moke, can you text
nine ninety three three eight. I don't want to do it.
I think it's someone done the right way obviously in
my safety wise, And yeah, so I email the HOA lady.
I'm like, hey, just so you know I'm doing this, Yes,

don't know what the need to do, and just send
it off.

That way because your ah OA is wild because they
have a truck or van that they drive around in,
so you can you know it's done because they drive
around all day?

Yes, And just what do they have nothing better to

I guess not because I've never seen anything like it.
And I have friends that have hoa's and I don't
know if they just drive around their own car, but
this dude drives around constantly just staring at everyone's house.

Is why the rules are stupid too. If the HOA
had like a fund, like they'll do like if your
fence easy fixed, like the fence to the right is
yours and the one to the left is not. Yeah,
so the one to the left for me is if
it's if it's ruined, I can't fix it. My neighbor's
gotta fix it exactly. I mean back when someone it
was the issue with like the the tree lean over
my yard that almost fell on Chewy when smoking him,

to neighbor. I'm like, he hasn't lived there, it's a rental.
They go, no, it's and I go, well, his last
name is Hella Russian. The family that lives there is not.
His name was spin Yeah, well actually it's Ukraine, right,
because you guys tried to bond over that.

Yeah, well I tried to after I yelled at him
because it was when I was house sitting and the
fire the fire detector kept going off and I could
hear it, Yeah, because I thought that it was in
your house but it wasn't his. And it was the
one that was like on the very high part of
the stairs that you have to have a huge ladder.
He's like, well I don't have a big enough ladder.
I was like, I see you.

I was like, I could hear you doin home improvement
stuff in there. I was like, I'm sure you can
find a ladder somewhere. I was like, that betterd be

I had just let Chewi in and I was in
your kitchen putting water in his bowl and I hear
this loud sound. I was like, what is that? And
I look in the backyard. The tree had taken over
