Jenny and Nate have been dating for four months and while they don’t live with each other, they do spend the weekend at each other’s place. Two weeks ago Jenny went over to Nate’s place to meet him after work and she noticed that Nate had his laptop open to a Google search of “How To Know Your Girlfriend Is Cheating.” At the same time she also found an earring in Nate’s place even though she doesn’t have her ears pierced. Jenny is starting to think there is another woman in Nate’s life and asks for our help to figure things out.

We call Nate pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants to send the flowers to, Nate asks if we can send them to his girlfriend of over a year Ava. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Four of the Rosies on intern John your morning show,
you thank your person stepping out. You think seven day
hasn't head up? We try to figure out exactly what
is going on.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Jenny, Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
So let's get right to this. You and Nate have
been together for how long?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
About four months?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
About four months? And we met? Where?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Okay, just like a lot of other people.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
No, no, no, shame the game. How long from matching
on Tinder to our first date? How long from our
first date to being in a relationship?

Speaker 5 (00:41):
After we matched? We got together a couple of days later,
and we started the relationship officially.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I guess about a week after we met. Okay, kind
of quickly, but not that quickly.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
We just knew and whose idea was it to lock
each other in and find the relationship?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (01:02):
He wanted us to be monogamous so that.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
We could, you know, be more intimate.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Got you okay?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
And so here we are four months later, we're doing
War of the Roses. So clearly some things have gone
on that make you think what's happening? And I guess
to set this up, we don't live with each other, correct, Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:22):
We lived like forty minutes okay.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So I mean in this day and age and where
we live, that's essentially long distance relationships pretty far.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Are y, Yeah, yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
It actually is absolutely okay.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And so some days you send your email, you'll stay
at his place, he'll stay at your place for a
couple of days.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
And that's how you guys make out the time.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Yep, we have little mini staycations.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I guess, like I pay out at his he's at
my place, and it's really it makes it easier because
we live so far away.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Sure, And so what happened this past week?

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Okay, So I got to his place a.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Little early and he was still out.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
He was grocery shopping so that we could have like
fresh groceries. And he's got one of those like hideaway
keys under the rock. So I just used it to
get into his house, like no big deal. I was
just you know, nothing crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
I was just like doing some work.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
He has one of those big like Apple desktop computers.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yeah, so I was like, ooh, finally a bigger screen.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I'm going to use his and I checked it out,
and like, as I was googling something, the last Google
search popped up and it said how to know if
my girlfriend is cheating.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I was like, uh, oh, that's weird. Why are you
thinking I'm cheating? Like, you know, it was just strange. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
But then that same weekend, we were upstairs in his
bedroom and I found an earring like right near the
best and I was like, that's weird because my ears
are not pierced, and neither are here.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Yeah, okay, all right, is it like stuck though in
the carpet like it could have been stepped on and in.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
There it was.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yeah, it was exactly.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
That's what I'm hoping because he's lived there for about
like a year.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Year and a half, so I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I just kind of if he's suspicious of me, like
I don't know, maybe I should be suspicious of him.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I mean, I guess, dumb question, Jenny, You aren't cheating?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
No, No, definitely not.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Okay, so let's do this. We'll have Sauce call from
the flower company and offer him the roses. Obviously should
go to you, girl friend of four months. If they do,
we'll hang up on them.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yep. Absolutely. If they don't, we'll get some answers for you. Okay, Yeah,
thank you.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I really appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
War the roses on intern Johnny Morning Show. So war
the rosies on interns on your morning show, Jenny, let
me kind of recap this real quick. So you and
Nate have been together about four months. We matched on tender.
Everything was fine. You guys basically have I mean, for
lack of a better term of long distance relationship. You
live about forty minutes away from each other, and some

(04:22):
weeks you'll stay at his place for a couple of days.
He'll say your place a couple of days. This past week,
you're going to his place. Got there a little bit early,
used spared kety go inside, used his work computer. Found
when his recent searches was how to know if your
girlfriend is cheating, which is wild because you have assured
us you are not cheating.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Correct, No, I am not cheating.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I am a loyal girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
And then the second kind of flag is you found
in his bedroom on the side you sleep on a
diamond ear ring in the carpet, which is odd because
your ears aren't pierced.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
And his ears aren't pierced. Dumb question, do you know
if it's real?

Speaker 5 (05:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
No, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I just like I just kind of kicked it behind
one of the dressers and pretended.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I didn't see it. Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Next to have a question, because to be fair, you
said he's lived there for a minute.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
How had he been single for prior to you guys dating?

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Good question.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah, I'm not really sure.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
He said his last relationship ended like a little recently.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
He said, like a couple of months prior.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Okay, so like that in theory, could just be old girlfriends.
And I'm gonna be honest, dudes don't realize things. Yeah,
he could very well. I've seen the earring and thoughts
that it was yours and just didn't think I think
of it, even though your ears aren't peers. That's just yeah,
dudes don't notice things that we probably should notice.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
But also like certain types of carpet, like I did
this guy who had that like ringed carpet. So and
I went there a month later and my old earring
was still stuck like under the bed in the carpet.
Oh really, Yeah, because I had been looking for I
was like, oh, yeah, that's interesting. Okay, And he didn't
even know there.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
One last question, Jenny, I'm hoping have you met his
friends and family?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Actually, no, I haven't. I've met like one of his friends,
and the friend was just like kind of quiet and
was distracted and left pretty quickly after I met him.
But I just feel like that's probably because it's long
distance and we like spreading time together when we're together.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Sure, has he met any of your friends or family?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, he's met a bunch of my friends.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Okay, and your friends, what's their vibe on him?

Speaker 4 (06:34):
They love him. They think he's like really sweet and fun.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
And yeah, perfect, all right, so let's do this.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
We'll have a Sausa call Nate from the flower company,
from the roses to go to you, clearly girl, for
in a four months. If they don't go to you,
we'll try to get some answers for you.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Okay, awesome, thank you, No.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Thank you all one second, I get him on here. Hello, Hi,
I'm calling for Nate. Yes, this is hi.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
My name's Bella.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
I'm calling you from a new local flower shop. We're
called YMS Flowers. We're trying out some new marketing where
we offer people in the community a new a free
bouquet of roses, just in hopes you come back to us.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Is that something you're interested in?

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Wait, so you're giving me free flowers. Nothing's for free. Yeah,
we're just new. We want some more foot traffic.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
The holidays are coming up, so hopefully you see the
flowers and then you want to come back.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
It is free.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
We don't eat your cry card info, just we only
need who you're sending them to.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
So did how did you get this info?

Speaker 6 (07:43):
So we buy all us from Google and it's based
off of Google searches. So I guess you looked up
something that would pertain to maybe you needing flowers.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
So I used a private a private what do you
call it? You know, search in cognito?

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Yeah, like, oh I don't yeah. So usually it's like
like the flowers we have been sending, at least recently,
it seems like they're cheating.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
I try not to get like in people's drama, but uh,
I'm a little biased. It seems like people that she
with the list that I.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Have right now. But no judgment, do you.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
The flowers will make up for whatever you're.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Doing on the side.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
Okay, all right, let me just get a name for
who you're sending them to.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Okay, uh I guess okay, I.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Was okay, ava like A V A.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Yeah, okay, okay, cool, and then uh, what is she
to use? We're's gonna keep everything listed so in case
you do come back to buy her flowers again, so.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
We can have it on file. Say that one more.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Time on you, like, is your wife, your girlfriend, your
sister's friend?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Girlfriend of a year? I haven't seeing her friend, like
next week would be a full year.

Speaker 6 (08:59):
It's like, oh, these are universary flowers. Oh my gosh,
I'm so sorry. Okay, so anniversary flowers? Do you want
them to say like half anniversary or it's just your
typical flower card?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Just I guess?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Uh, oh my god, how does that math work?

Speaker 4 (09:17):
What does that math work?

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Not?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Oh my god, Nathan, Like I thought you and I
have Jenny together for four.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yeah this is me ye oh my god, Jenny. Listen, listen.

Speaker 1 (09:31):

Speaker 2 (09:43):

Speaker 4 (09:48):
I'm sorry? What?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (09:52):
So she's been very very protective, like of her phone,
and I see her texting and stuff like that, and
I know something's going on.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Wait because pause, Nate. Jenny.

Speaker 1 (10:02):

cheating on you?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
