Welcome to it.

Speaker 6 (00:25):
So nice.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
My sister is in town. She's visiting my mom at
the memory care center. I gave her the key to
the room because I have a key in my mom's room,
and I go, oh, yours, I'm off the clock.

Speaker 6 (00:35):
Nice, you can have a little rest till Sunday.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I got stuff to do. You know, I love visiting
my mom, but I'm like, I want to let my
sister have her time with her.

Speaker 6 (00:42):
And you're there every day.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Every day for long period of periods of time with
my mom. But it's those other old people that get you.

Speaker 6 (00:49):
You're gonna miss Friday night karaoke.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
To I know, I know, I know, but I told
my sister that you and your husband Jeff were planning
on coming over for Friday night karaoke.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
Shoot, I'm staying it. We should have.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
It's still haven't seen my sister in years, have you?

Speaker 6 (01:06):
No, I haven't. I haven't seen her since.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
My dad's funeral.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
Yeah, that was probably the last time yep.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Nine years ago. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:15):
Wow, Wow, that for a guilt trip.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Co karaoke Jill at the Old Folks Home.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
John Hayden, Buddy, I'm feeling pretty good, excited for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
What's the plan with the hair? It's getting really like
way in the back or something.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I'm getting to cut this weekend,
just a little trim. I like where the back's at.
I'm trying to let the front. The front grew out
too much and now like it's too thick for me
to do anything with it. So I've been wearing a
lot of hats recently, but today's the last day of
the hat.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
We're getting to cut this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Guys, all right, good for you. You got a person.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I got a new guy.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
I tried a new guy.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
We just moved recently, my girlfriend and I together, so
obviously we're checking out new places.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Have a new barber, and I don't know how I
feel about him.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yet huh, but you're giving him the keys of the
car this weekend.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
See.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
The thing is, last time, I feel like it was
my fault that it wasn't perfectly to my liking. Yeah,
but like I loved the guy personally. We were chatting
about music, like he really likes radio. He's into different
bands and stuff.

Speaker 8 (02:15):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
So I like him too much to.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Go anywhere else. Yeah. I like chadowing with people too,
But I'm not letting them do surgery. I mean unless
they're qualified.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yeah, well you know I can recover from this surgery.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Think, Yeah, good luck couple of weeks. Right, Hey man,
you got somebody for your hair?

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I do, Stephen, Stephen, you lock it down that get right?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
You want to know what's wild is? And I don't
mean this disrespectfully.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Oh god, I'm going bald.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Here we go. I wasn't even gonna go there.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
That's all you do so loud.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Do you know how much Brian spends on a haircut?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Let's do guesses. Yeah, let's all say like our haircut price, right, Jill,
you'll be the most expensive. Mine's way too much sometimes,
And I want to tell Haley that it makes sense.
Mine is like I think, like fifty five dollars. Yeah, yeah,
it's insane.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Mine's about thirty to forty.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Yeah, that's my husband's hair. H thirty to forty.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's like seventy eighty, seventy to eighty.

Speaker 7 (03:09):
I just like this guy and he says he does
all these things, like he's like, I don't use tapwater
when I spit your hair.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
He's just a miracle bro. Like it's not working.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I knew that's where this was going in the that's.

Speaker 9 (03:25):
A way.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
He does all these you know, it puts all these like.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Little how long is your haircuts? Hey?

Speaker 3 (03:33):
About an hour?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
But most of it it's not.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
We're chatting a lot of shock.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I thought Haley was expensive. Yeah, you're paying how much again,
I don't know, like seventy eighty bucks something like that.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Now Briand's getting bamboozled.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And there's not as the same amount as his.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I get it.

Speaker 10 (03:52):
Yes, I know.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wowsy. What's the guy's name, Stephen Steven.
If you're listening, dude, what's going on? You're you know,
you're overcharging you kind of like the people after a
natural disaster that up the price some water and toilet paper.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
What are you doing? Yeah, stop it off?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Our friend, right, you saw the natural disaster up top.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Natural disaster is my head.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah, and he started to overcharging the guy that's against
the law.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Stephen's a better friend to me than either of you two.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
That's all I'm gonna say. We don't charge your seventy bus,
seventy or eighty bucks. We will be the best friend
you've ever had.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
One four three in my FM.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
One O four to three, my fam it is Valence
in the morning. I want to bring Michael into this.
Michael's our priestor out of New York City.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Are you the guy that decided on the Slack thing?

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Yeah, because forever we've been using Facebook Messenger and that's
just not what it's built for.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
This is a little bit easier. So they're using a
new program called Slack or maybe some around for a while, right,
And I'm not part of this world, the Slack world.
I'm not involved in this at all. I don't know why. Well,
there's been discussion that you would be too distracted by
slack by what do you do on slack? Like during
the show, what do you guys do.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
We send each other important messages about the show.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, okay, you are four feet from each other.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, but we can't always talk while we're in the
middle of the show, so it's like, why can't you talk?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
What are you doing?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
If Brian's like, hey, do you need a song loaded
for your segment coming up? But we're in the middle
of a call, then he can slack and we can
all read the slack and know there.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
But how do you read that if you're in the
middle of a phone call.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Well, because you're listening and then reading. Those are two
different things.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
It's called not paying attention. And that's sometimes why you
disappear during phone calls because you're on slack.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
You need to know pipping him back Sometimes it's information
you need to know.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
Just so you know, Val, I'm not a part of
this either.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
You're not on slack either.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
I'm not only because my computer can't.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Let me see slick. Bring me let me just see
what's going on with slack.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
I'm jealous that I'm not a part of it.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I'm not jealous. I'm fine. First thing I see is
Shrek coming out of the outhouse gift a gift from Morning.
Then there's a cat having coffee from John. Then there
I'm tired boss from Brian. It looks like it's an
old friend of mine for the Green Mile Michael Clark Tonkins, Yes,
passed on good stuff there. Then there's a big screen

(06:11):
grab of Jill has a long butt crack. Then Brian goes,
ha ha ha ha ha that title is wild ha
ha ha ha ha.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
I can't.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
I still shocked when you go on Instagram and you
see big yellow letters Jill has a long crack and next.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Thing, by the way, the next thing comes in eight
forty three yesterday. He goes, great topic, Michael, so many
butts mentioned. I loved it. Then Michael responds at eight
fifty two, we get it. You like butts. It's so okay,
You're welcome, Brian. Okay, so that's yesterday. I'm looking through
all this. I don't see anything about the show.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Well you no, Michael sent a document in there yesterday. Okay.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Michael writes, I need someone to read me. Then Brian
sends a gift of like Britney spears yawning in a car.
Then Michael writes Ella Mayo. Then Brian writes, what do
you think, Laura? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Laura?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Goes, I'm here against my will.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
She doesn't like to play along now.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
And then John Resbeck frick, Yeah, Laura's first Slack. Then
Brian goes, yes, Queen. Then Michael Pulman goes, I'm so sorry.
Then Laura goes, Okay, I actually love it here. Nothing
about the show. The entire show is just a bunch
of dumb stuff back and forth that's happening in the

(07:32):
middle of the show. Got to get out of this.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
I really want to.

Speaker 11 (07:36):
Well, if you're too old, I can't update my windows
on here, so then I can't bring on Slack. I
need an updated version. And so I'm still stuck on
Facebook Messenger talking to no one.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Do me a favor. Can you print all of yesterday's messages.
I'm just I just want Elon to have it on paper,
you know what I mean. I want him and Doze
to have that on paper. Michael, would you like to
defend anything here? Since slack was your idea.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
A lot of the things that are actually important during DMS.
To be fair, let me see the DM.

Speaker 10 (08:08):
Impression.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Saucy to be.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
One or four three my family.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It is Valencie of the morning, Nivvy, good morning, what
are your big plans for this uh Friday? What are
you gonna be doing today?

Speaker 12 (08:27):
I'm great, doing good. I'm volunteering intently at a high
school senior event where they learned about budgets and how
to manage money.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I love that. I love that. A Are you like
a money manager or something? Do you have any experience
in that field yourself?

Speaker 12 (08:42):
I am not. Actually, I'm a family practice doc, so
oh wow, yeah, so I'm just doing the volunteer.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, well that'll be fun. How's the world of family
medicine going? You got You don't got any measles cases?

Speaker 12 (08:56):
Do you no knock on wood? I have not had
any but out there for sure.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
That's crazy stuff. What do we owe the pleasure of
this phone call today?

Speaker 12 (09:07):
Well, I just wanted to call and let you guys know,
all of you how appreciative I am for your show.
Every morning, I get up early to kind of work
on paperwork and you know, catch up on things. And
I'm always up at like five eight and when you
guys come on and I listen to you faithfully kind

(09:28):
of three of the morning. Even when I get to
the office and clinic. Sometimes I can have you on
before I start seeing patients and you bring so much
joy and just make me laugh, and it's it's I
just really love you guys every morning. Oh thank you
to your topics and your conversation. It's just yeah, it's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
You're very sweet. You do have a prescription pad in
front of you, probably right, you've got that. But I
will venture to say that, what do they say the
best medicine is laughter? Write me up a script, lady.
We're pasting those drugs out every day. Laughter is the
best medicine.

Speaker 8 (10:11):
Nibby.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Have you seen a lot of long butt cracks in
your time?

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Oh my god, Oh my god. Why would you ask
her that?

Speaker 12 (10:16):
I almost fit out my coffee yesterday?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Oh you heard that yesterday, Nibby, Yes.

Speaker 13 (10:22):
I heard it.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
It's a thing though, right, like summer longer than others.

Speaker 12 (10:27):
You know, everybody, everybody is uniquely chill, and some are
gifted with different traits and one trait that some people have.

Speaker 11 (10:41):
And I just want to be clear, it's not like whoa,
that is a long one, like it's just a little
bit longer than others.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
You know, you showed us, you pointed on your body
to how far it went, so you were wearing high
waisted mom jeans, and you pointed to where the crack began.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yes, And I said, my god.

Speaker 12 (11:02):
I think you didn't measure.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Actually, we were going to measure.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
We didn't do that, maybe out of respect into the crack,
and a lot of us were like, holy san Andreas.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
I thought it was it's like a pin the tail
on the crack and it's in the middle of her back.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Yeah, we got it wrong.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
It was on the third vertebrae up.

Speaker 11 (11:20):
But I told my husband that I talked about this.
He said, I don't think it's long.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
Like he didn't. He's seen it and he doesn't think
that it's longer than the average.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
How many is it compared it to? Jill ask him that.
So maybe you're a doctor of family medicine, are you.

Speaker 12 (11:39):
Yeah. Yeah, I work in that community health clinic.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Oh that's fantastic.

Speaker 12 (11:42):
I see a lot of the patients that you know
don't always have access to healthcare. Right, we're providing health care.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Oh my god, you're doing great work. That's awesome. Where'd
you do your medical school?

Speaker 14 (11:54):
Uh?

Speaker 12 (11:55):
So I went actually Western University of Health Sciences, and
so I'm a transplant from Seattle and uh, and then
I came down here and met my husband here when
I was a medical and ended up you know, getting
married and settling down here. So I am one of
the few people in California that like loves the rain

(12:16):
and when it's overcast. I love that.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Well. I mean, you came from that world of Gray's
Anatomy up there in Seattle. I'm sure you didn't find
your husband in the old doctor breakroom, did you.

Speaker 12 (12:27):
No? No, actually business so yeah, very uh.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
He was a patient, not at all.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
No, Maybe you got to come by and sit on
the couch sometime.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Will you do that?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Come into the studio and hang out.

Speaker 12 (12:39):
My gosh, I would love to if ever, yeah, I
definitely would love to.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Well hang out. I'll put you in touch with our pruser,
Brian Bird. We'll make that happen someday.

Speaker 12 (12:47):
Okay, thank you, appreciate all of you.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
You got it. Hang on to me, sweetest lady in
the world, so nice, full of energy, all bubbling everything
for a Friday morning. I love that, all right. Eight
sixty six five four four of my f M texting

the Morning.

Speaker 15 (13:01):
Kids, Valentine in the Morning, one four three may FM.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Listen Anywhere with the iHeartRadio app one O four to
three MA FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 11 (13:11):
Katie Perry is going into outer space. She will be
joining an all female crew on board one of Jeff
Bezos' Blue Origin space flights. The other women on the
crew include Scale King from CBS Mornings, Jeff bezos fiance
Lauren Sanchez, and then three other women, an aerospace engineer,
a civil rights activist, and a filmmaker. And the launch

(13:33):
is tendedly scheduled for this spring. And Universal gave us
a first look at Shrek five yesterday. Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz,
and Eddie Murphy will all be back for this fifth movie,
but also Zendaiya. She is going to voice Shrek's daughter, Felicia.
In the movie, Shrek and Fiona have triplets, a girl

(13:54):
named Felicia and then two boys named Fergus and Farkel,
and up until now they've only been on screen as babies,
but Zendia will voice her as a teenager. And Shrek
five hits theaters Christmas twenty twenty six. I'm Jill with
your entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 10 (14:11):
Kiss.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
One O four three, My offam, it is Valence in
the morning. One of the big stories in the news
is Airedwan. Do they say air to one and he's
like Airwan Airwan? Okay? Arewon aroan Arawan in the club
getting tipsy? That's not bad, dude. What do we walk
in there and go airwan in the club? Gyps here
go viral. They're selling nineteen dollar strawberries. It's supposed to

(14:38):
be perfect strawberries, absolutely perfect, their shape, everything, they're beautiful.
They're in a little container and they're selling them at
the store for nineteen.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
Dollars one strawberry, one strawberry.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Has that be in the room had that strawberry? No,
of course not, but somebody in this room, whilst in
her honeymoon in Japan, had something very similar.

Speaker 11 (14:58):
We were told that these strawberries and kyoto were the
best strawberries in the world, and they were expensive, but
with the US dollar, it wasn't that bad for us.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Like when we were using dollars there, you know. And
so we decided to try some strawberries and we had
quite a few.

Speaker 16 (15:16):
They were the best strawberries ever, just the flavor, the juiciness,
the color, Like I can't even really explain it, but.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
They were worth the hype.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
You're trying to tell me that you haven't spent the money,
you haven't tried it at this place, but you might
be willing to go out and leton go, Hey, this
nineteen dollars strawberry actually might be worth the nineteen dollars.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
If you're just buying one and it's like a one
time thing, I say splurge.

Speaker 11 (15:47):
I say get it, because it really was just like
the best thing I've had in my mouth in a
long time.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
I can't what's wrong. I can't imagine checking out at
that store with a nineteen dollars strawberry and looking that
teller in the face. I just can't mass.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
I like have a hard time spending nineteen bucks on
dinner like that.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
That's crazy, right.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
On one, strawberry thes are so expensive, John, that's wild.
I don't know what you guys, what are you giggling about?
Still not even what what are you talking about? I
can't imagine spending that on a piece of fruit like that,
and everything's so expensive as it is.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
I'm trying to think of one thing I would spend
nineteen bucks on like that was a food that was
a one snack because I'm allergic to fruits, so strawberries
can't be it, right, But like, if the best piece
of chocolate was in front of me, would I spend
nineteen bucks? Like I have a problem with seas, but
that's like my limit. You know your problem? What buying
sea's candy?

Speaker 2 (16:34):
What's your problem with that?

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Well, they're expensive.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
They're so expensive, right, Okay.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Sometimes it's like two bucks for a single little piece
of chocolate. Two bucks.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
You are so cheap, I am.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
That's crazy to me.

Speaker 5 (16:43):
I'm not gonna buy two dollars for a piece of chocolate.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
That's insane, even if it's the best chocolate in the world.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
I do sometimes, but that's my limit.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
If it were nineteen dollars, I don't even think like
chocolate would get me there.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Just ask you for a sample. They give samples, Yeah,
but they only give one. And then you just said
you were buying one. He's a chocolate for two bucks?

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Yeah, because they give me the sample one and I'm like,
you're right, that is damn good. And then you buy
another one and then I buy another one.

Speaker 11 (17:05):
All right, Okay, if you're into strawberries, yeah, this might
be worth the twenty bucks.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
I think we need to split one and we need
to see it.

Speaker 6 (17:13):
You have to put the whole thing in.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Don't stop.

Speaker 11 (17:17):
I really don't like Contrary to popular opinion, what are
you talking about? I don't mean for these things to
mean what they mean?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 11 (17:25):
When I say stuff, it comes out wrong, and I
don't mean for it to come out wrong.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
I think it still is. I'm not sure. I'm not sure, honestly.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
All right.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Weather today partly cloudy, Sam's sixties, low seventies. Chance of
light rain this weekend, possibly a stronger storm next Wednesday
and Thursday. Boo fifty six, Poma fifty seven Irvine. Jill's
got the Entertament. Headlines coming up.

Speaker 11 (17:51):
A woman found a famous movie's wedding dress at a
thrift shop for nineteen dollars and she's selling it for
a good cause.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
I'll tell you all about it. Coming of a six fifteenth.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Let's do our first shift and we'll launch in the
Johns d Music Friday. The fragility of life. We look
around us and we see it. Humans, ourselves are incredibly
fragile when you really think about it, compared to others
in the animal kingdom, and how long we're here on
this earth for, and how fleeting life can really be
in the grand scheme of things. If you open up
your mind to the cosmos and how long it's been there,

(18:24):
and how long a planets there, and how long a
redwood stands in its forest, the fragility of human life
is incredibly fleeting. And so as I navigate the memory
care center with my mom and I see people come
and go, I'm reminded of the fragility of life and
reminded how even though it is fragile, it is so

(18:44):
absolutely beautiful, and the beauty comes in that fragility. You
might know somebody going through some tough stuff right now physically,
some type of ailment. You might feel some pains yourself
right now. Reminder of how fragile, truly we can be,
no matter how much medacine we have, how many pills
we can take. In the end, there's a frigility to that,

(19:07):
and it's a beautiful, beautiful fragility, much like that rose
can just look so absolutely stunning, its pedals can fall,
And so within that comes the understanding that we have
to live our life for the moments that we're here
for the moments that we're around each other. To live
in the moment. Life. I said this before, and it's

(19:29):
kind of a silly little phrase, but life, it's meant
to be lived. To get out there, to enjoy yourself,
to make those loving moments with your friends and your families,
to connect with others. You gotta light it up. You
got to light it up in some respects. You gotta
want it, you gotta need it, You've gotta taste it.

(19:50):
You've got to carpe dm seize the day. If you're
a Latin friend, come on, come chase it. You've got
to want to get after it. Man, if you want
to sir, do it. You want to marry him, do it.
You want to make a baby, do it. You want
to get new windows in your house, do it. Life
is meant to be lived. Jill, count us up.

Speaker 10 (20:12):
Oh what.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Don't let the man hold you down. Don't let that
boss hold you down. Don't just trade your freedom for finances,
trade your finances for freedom. You don't have to be
held down by the corporate world. You've got more to
stay than that, you got more to do than that.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Life.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Come on, because today the day you start getting after
it for yourself and your loved ones.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
Rock and roll. I tuned in the DJ snapped, you're
starting a revolution.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
There's a guy I tell you real quick. Years ago,
I worked at a radio station Q one on five, right,
and this guy was like a big rocker and Q
one on five was like a kiss down the hall,
the little station rotten in Lendon, Connecticut. And back then
they'd have a countdown show like American Top forty at
Seacrests and Mandy like that. I think it was like
Casey Caseman the time, and it was on vinyl and
they would play it became pre produced on vinyl. You

(21:23):
play it on a Sunday morning. So the guy, he
played the forty song right, number forty, and then you
heard a record scratch go, and then he went to
the number one song. He skipped all that in between
that was on that record and went straight to number one.
Then he turned that volume down and came on and
he's like, hey, it's Billy whatever you know, and and

(21:43):
it's Laborty weekend, and.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
I'm that worker for the man anymore. Let's rock and row.
Screw it.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
He barricaded the door and he started doing his own
radio show.

Speaker 7 (21:52):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
If police had the comes true. Sorry police said the
common break down the door shut the transmitter off. And
this was one of the songs he played. Let's do
it man, I still have the tape of it. I'll
bring the audio in. The saddest part was he stumbled.
It was his big moment and he was like, yeah,
you know, we're gonna do it.

Speaker 17 (22:10):
Man.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
It's a labor labor day weekends.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
I'm like, oh man, this is ignorant.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Yea so great And that kid, by the way, grew
up to be you know who it is?

Speaker 10 (22:21):
Now? Is it you?

Speaker 2 (22:23):
You're listening to it? This is a long four three
No John Steve min is Friday. He was a Friday.
Coming up next, it's Rida Carpenter. This is please Please Please,
one of four three MI FM's found in the morning

(22:44):
Value Radio Rebel. Yes, then some of you might have
misinterpreted this. One text says shove it peak, that's our boss,
not saying that I did. I didn't mean that I
loved you.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
Hold you down.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah, I met.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
A different, many different man, maybe a woman who knows
whoever told you.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
No value savage?

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I have said when you started guns and roses, I thought, well,
that took an odd turn, but I think I kind
of liked it though. Yes, I love first sip literal
sunrise during first sip. Yes, I'll do it, have it,
get it another text? Are you telling us we're dying? Well,
that wasn't necessarily man, Grab the moments in life. Seize
the day because it is fleeting, you know, beautiful sunrise. Man,

(23:25):
that sunrise was beautiful out there today. I hope you
guys saw that. Just absolutely gorgeous out there now to
a gorgeous man himself. Oh, Jean Kimuci, what's new music Friday?

Speaker 4 (23:36):
All right, A couple of songs for you today.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
First up here, after having one of the biggest songs
of twenty twenty four, Benson Boone. He's back again to
kick off this year with sorry, I'm here for someone Else,
I'm Sammy, I'm.

Speaker 10 (23:49):
Cute song else. It's good to see fa do in
the world. Stand out. I can stay and talking at
the bar. Oh boy, so, but I'm here for some No.

(24:16):
Where's your funny auction?

Speaker 4 (24:18):
It's very different. I feel like every part of the
song switches it up.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
I like the feel of this one, and this song
kind of imagines him at a table waiting for the date,
and then someone that you used to love walks up
and you gotta tell him I'm so sorry, like I'm
here for someone else this time.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Could you imagine if they did it like this, if
you actually looked at the person you're at that bar
like I'm sorry, I'm here. When he starts singing.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
It like, I feel like every musical is like that.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Oh it's so good.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
But in the song, he ends up leaving.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
His date because it was the one that got away
that they never should have let go of.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
The end, he actually stays for the person he just
bumped into. Yeah, and someone else gets jilted in the end.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
A little bit kind of a twist there. Yeah, what
a ruiner.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
He said, he kind of wrote this song and he
was like having a bad day and just he had
those weird feelings in and he wanted to turn.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
It into a song and this is what came out.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Wow, kind of gave away the ending.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
There, so not this time last year is when Beautiful
Things came out became the biggest song of last year.
And now he's back for a round two. He's got
an album that seems to be on the way. This
is our first taste of it. Sorry I'm here with
some Sorry I'm here for someone else from Benson Boone.
So next up here, One Republic's got a new song

(25:31):
out today. This one's an interesting collaboration. Ryan Tedder collabed
with a massive Punjabi artist, Karen Auslow, and this song
is called tell Me You.

Speaker 10 (25:39):
Gotta Gotta Gotta tell Me.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
So you Gotta Go, You Gotta tell Me.

Speaker 18 (25:53):
So.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
One Republic here teamed up with this massive Punjabi artist,
Karen AA, and he's kind of mixing these genres, like.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
Karen is a massive singer and songwriter in India. And
I feel like at this time where.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Music is very, very global, like artists from around the
world are kind of getting the spotlight.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
We're giving out ky.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
Pop tickets for Battle of the Sexist, Like K pop
has been so huge over the last couple of years.
Well right now, it seems like Indian culture is kind
of having that same effect.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
And Ryan Tedder's trying to tap into that.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
He said, anyone who's not paying attention to India or
Southeast Asia right now on.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
A cultural tip is asleep at the wheel. Any saustity
cut I forget you're fluid and poo jack.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Thank you excuse me the man students report, Okay, it's
rough moment.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
Okay. He said, maybe is one of his favorite artists
or one of his favorite countries rather to perform in.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
So we wanted to have a coolab there, something that
could bring him back.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
But I thought that was kind of an interesting blame
of cultures here is telling me from one republic in Karnaws.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I loved Yauvius too, Like I want to go to
an Indian wedding and dress like that.

Speaker 17 (26:56):
Right?

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Have you been to an Indian wedding?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
No, but one of my best friends has and I
just like followed every day of his social.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Oh my god, absolutely gorgeous and then like the Jonas
brothers right, wasn't isn't his wife Indiana?

Speaker 8 (27:07):
Right?

Speaker 2 (27:07):
And she, Oh my gosh, she's gorgeous. That whole wedding
look is so much fun. And it looks like you know,
if you wear robes and stuff like that, or even
in the Middle East when they wear the robes too, him, like,
that's the outfit I've been missing, man, That's that's nothing's tight.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Yeah, it's like Lisa Fox's cape thing that she wears.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
What is that cape o?

Speaker 6 (27:28):
The duster?

Speaker 2 (27:28):
The duster? Oh man, those things look so comfy.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Nothing's stopping you.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
I think society stopped. Let's live all right, Let's close
out with Lizzo here. This is her brand new single.
She's back on the music scene. This is love in
real life.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
It is so fun.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Does she say hey ho in the middle though, Yeah,
like the Lumineers. Oh yeah, sounds different thanluminaars. Sounds more
like she's directing. This is somebody like hey Ho, But.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
I feel like similar to that Benson Boone song. This
one's got a few different moods to it too, you
know what I mean. And she's essentially saying, some days
you want to hold up at home and lock the
doors and not go out, but sometimes you just got
to get out there and feel some love in real life.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yeah, you look too good to stay in. So she
hasn't released really proper music.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
Since twenty twenty two, I believe, so she's back. She's
been working on herself. She's been on a health journey,
committed to a fitness and well being, and now she's
committed to being back on the music scene too.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
This is her first little taste of music.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
I know.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Thanks good Hey h this is love in real life
and this up period time.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Now let's go what's your favorite at three jobs.

Speaker 5 (28:56):

Benson boone because I the guy, so you get to
say fencing Bob.

Oscar is returning to the Office spinoff, so Oscar Nunez
is returning as Oscar Martinez on the Peacock series, which
takes place at a Midwestern newspaper where the same film
crew from the Office is making a new documentary for
this show. There's nowhere yet on the title, but sources
say it could be called The Paper. And we don't

(30:38):
know exactly how Oscar is going to fit in here
because when the show ended back in twenty thirteen, Oscar
was running for the Pennsylvania State Senate while still working
at Dunlar Mifflin thunder Mifflin. So Oscar will be a
part of the Oscar spinoff. And a woman found Carrie
Bradshaw's wedding dress, one of her wedding dresses from the

(30:59):
Sex the City movie.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
So in that film, she had a Vogue.

Speaker 11 (31:03):
Photo shoot and one of the dresses from that photo
shoot was found at a thrift shop for nineteen dollars.
It's a Vera Wang dress. And the woman who found it, Ashley,
she posted a video on social media and she's saying
she couldn't believe when she saw the dress, recognized it
immediately from the movie, saw it was a real Vera
Wang got it for eighteen ninety nine. The dress is

(31:24):
officially called the Eleanor Bridal Gown and it's worth around
seventy five hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
So this woman, Ashley.

Speaker 11 (31:31):
Says, she has been low key stressing over her lawyer
bills for her divorce, so she will be selling this dress.

Speaker 6 (31:40):
She took it as a blessing.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Oh wow, and it's.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Going to be paying for her divorce.

Speaker 11 (31:44):
And she said, oh, I didn't think this blessing would
come in the way of a wedding dress. But I'm
not complaining, but bought it for eighteen ninety nine.

Speaker 6 (31:51):
I'm Jill with entertainment headlines.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
How did it even end up there? I know right,
so many in costume where something had the note a
vera wang had maybe they donated it or something like that.

Speaker 6 (32:00):

we're experiencing much cooler tempts and a chance of rain
for the first week ind of March. Experts say there's

Three things I need to know. This is a real story,
real story. Officials in California urging people to eat rats.
This is a real story. We're not making this up.
Eat rats. What is going on?

Speaker 15 (57:43):
From sedan's and SUVs to full size trucks experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified freezings.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
You need to know right now, eight nineteen. It is
Valentine in the morning. This week, the Huntington Park City
Hall in LA was rated by police. It's part of
a corruption investigation, and city council members and the mayor
of Huntington Park are being questioned. This is crazy if
you're not following the story. In twenty nineteen, the city

(58:15):
of Huntington Park allocated twenty million dollars for a large
public park and aquatic center with an Olympic sized swimming
pool in twenty nineteen. Six years later, the center hasn't
been built. It's not clear where the money went. Twenty
million dollars, it's just dirt. Still, where did the money go?

(58:37):
There is a small animal called a nutrient, which is
also referred to as a swamp rat. They've been wreaking
havoc in the ecosystems of California. Now the Department of
Fish and Wildlife they're encouraging people to eat as many
of them as you can. These swamp rats can consume
up to one fourth thir body weight and vegetation every day.

(58:57):
They're seriously damaging marsh environments. The agency says they have
a catchy slogan, save a swamp saute a nutria like Ketchley.
Is it a catchygan? Are they proud of that one?
Save a swamp Saute? Yeah? That country music? Yeah? I like?

Speaker 4 (59:17):
Did they just feel bad wanting us to off them?
So they're saying eat them.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
I don't know, they just want to get rid of them.

Speaker 4 (59:22):
That's strange.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
You know. They released some swamp Rat recipes as well,
if you're into that.

Speaker 3 (59:28):
We can post them if anyone.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
If anybody wants a swamp Rat recipe. Swamp Yeah. Got
some music news.

Speaker 5 (59:37):
Well, it is a new music Friday. So another one
of the big releases today came from Halsey. Actually kind
of a punk rock sounding song called Safeword.

Speaker 4 (59:50):
That's kind of fun.

Speaker 5 (59:51):
I should want you the music video not really safe
for work, but I do think Halsey sounds great when
she leans towards this rock line here. So this song
is safe Word from Halsey and it's out today on
the Free I heard I.

Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
I'm John Kamuci. That's today's music news.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
It is a my Free Ticket Friday. By the way,
we have a chance and tickets for you to see
the Beachlight Festival with the Lennis Moore set, the Beach
Boys and much more. Plus we will review some of
the Best Picture nominees for you coming up. So if
you haven't seen them all, and maybe you do want
to see some of the nominated movies, we'll review them
up next on Valenten in the morning. Did you finish
Dune this morning?

Speaker 12 (01:00:25):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:00:25):
Not this morning?

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Have you finished Dune?

Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
I have finished Dune too? Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:00:31):
Did you watch Dune one?

Speaker 6 (01:00:33):
No?

Speaker 10 (01:00:34):
Thanks? There is always tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
One A four to three, my fami. It is Valentine
in the morning. So so many great movies up for
grabs for the Oscars this weekend. I was charged with
watching The Brutalists. This is the longest movie non to man.
It was very long. I had to make notes so
I could talk about this movie. I had seen done too.

(01:01:08):
I had seen like so many movies, but somehow I
got The Brutalist. Adrian Brody, you're a stud You're amazing,
tremendous actor. Here's my review. Now here we go. So
The Brutalist follows Laslotov, a Hungarian Jewish Holocaust survivor who
immigrates to the US and becomes involved in the world
of brutalist architecture. Now, for many of us, we don't

(01:01:29):
know what brutalist architecture is. Think very concrete, not anything fancy.
It's just it's always been like strong and hard and
just big pillars of concrete. And some people see it
as cold and uninviting, and concrete's not stained a lot
of times and stuff. It's just very much like if
you've ever seen like the Boston City Hall, if you
ever looked it up. That's what like brutalist architecture is.

(01:01:51):
So this Holocaust survivor immigrates to the immigrates to the US,
becomes involved in the world of brutalist architecture as he
navigates personal loss in the pursuit of the mare and dream.
The stark imposing structures around him mirror what's going on
inside as an inner turmoil and fractioned identity. So some
takeaways for you here for this movie. The only thing

(01:02:13):
more brutal than the architecture is how this movie makes
you rethink your own personal life's choices. You will be
thinking when you watch this movie. The buildings get more
emotional depth than some of the characters in certain respects.
You come for the brutalist architecture where you stay for
this existential crisis. Who knew concrete could make you question

(01:02:34):
your own life's choices? You know? The movie, by the way,
makes you question a lot. It is three hours and
thirty five minutes long. It is a long movie. If
you have a tiny T shaped bladder. This is not
the movie for you unless you can get pause several times.
There is a fifteen minute intermission.

Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
Really there is.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Yeah, I've never seen a movie with an intermission, but
they realize that people have I need T shaped blast.
But the immigrant experience is on full portrayal of this
movie and stuff. And I started to think, like, here's
this guy that he's digging coal, like in Pittsburgh when
they find him, when he gets to realize as an
amazing architect and stuff, and so he's sitting there digging
the coal and everything because he had come from a

(01:03:17):
war torn country. So many amazing immigrants come to this
country that have these abilities from wherever they came, and
they're just not being used to those abilities. You know,
this guy was an amazing architect, and they finally realized,
you know, they go, hey, was this you, Laslotov? Is
this you that made these buildings? Is this your work
and stuff? And that begins the whole process for him.

(01:03:38):
But he's just sitting there digging coal. I think of
people from all different countries around the world that come
to America as immigrants and they're just doing quote unquote
menial jobs. And their true talents are hidden to the
rest of society. So it makes you question a lot
of life's choices too. Have a good movie, very good,
and I think it's a well deserved nod for a
movie of the year.

Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
Okay, all right, nice, all right.

Speaker 11 (01:03:59):
So I watched Into And to be completely honest, I
did not watch the first tune. So you know, people
have said that this is a mix of Star Wars
and Game of Thrones. I've never seen any of those either,
so very legit, like, yeah, this is a cross between
Star Wars and Game of Thrones.

Speaker 6 (01:04:18):
Makes sense. The movie is about two things.

Speaker 11 (01:04:24):
I took away power and then like a fancy spice.
There's a lot of sand, a lot of sand, a
lot of sandwords that like swallow, big, spacious and stuff.
But I will say, yes, it's beautiful. The cinematography, the
visual effects are stunning in this film. I haven't seen

(01:04:44):
Timothy Shalomy and anything else but Little Women before this.

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
He's so good.

Speaker 6 (01:04:49):
He's an amazing actor.

Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Yeah, let me just because did you really watch this?
I really did, because it sounds like a little like
old spice. Whatever. Let me see you walk, let me.

Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
See you walk. Let's see you saying if you are,
you didn't watch this? You know yet? Let me see
you say you don't know the sandwalk is.

Speaker 10 (01:05:11):
Let's see it.

Speaker 23 (01:05:13):
Let's see the sandwash. You didn't watch the sandwalk? Oh
my god.

Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
You know you yes or no?

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
You're under direct orders from God.

Speaker 6 (01:05:29):
So I started it, turn it.

Speaker 11 (01:05:31):
I turned it on asleep.

Speaker 17 (01:05:34):
I thought.

Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
It's a bad spice and worms tiktoks reviewing it. Oh
my god, it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Always the detective over there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I knew what she
couldn't do the sandwalk. I knew what was going on there.

Speaker 7 (01:05:53):
Yes, there's as to avoid the words special.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Dancing. All right, John, what was your movie? All right,
we'll do that right after the break. It's Valentine in
the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
Yeah, text to Valentine in the morning at three one
oh four to three.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Do this sandwalk. So this weekend, do you like pancakes?
Join I Hops Saturday tomorrow from nine in the five

the Gettess world record of this thing. It's twenty thousand

(01:06:58):
it's Valencin in the morning. This one of four three
mim weather today, partner cloud a cool tempt sixties, low seventies, chancel,
light rain this weekend, possibly stronger storm next Wednesday and Thursday.
Sixty m Pomona sixty one and sealed beach. Jill's got
the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 11 (01:07:12):
Zindia is gonna be a part of Shrek five. I'll
tell you her role coming up at eight fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
A lot of texts coming in. I'll read some of
the texts before we continue on the movies. Gasp, I
literally gas, Jill, you didn't watch it. You were so convincing,
ellel I can't believe it. Thank you, Val, great detective work.
Nice job. Jill's first ever lie was about Dune. Oh
my gosh.

Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
Oh I didn't lie, though I haven't lied yet.

Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
Well, we got it out of you, right, We had
to get it out of Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:07:38):
I just didn't watch the whole thing right started.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
I watched a lot on TikTok. It seems like, wowcha,
joining can't believe you lied. Oh this morning effect, Jill.
Don't feel bad. I tried two times to watch the
first Dune and fell asleep both times. And it's hard
to see Dune too if you haven't seen doing one, you.

Speaker 20 (01:07:51):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
Yeah, yeah, I ran out of time. That was my thing.
I procrastinated way too long.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Jill hates cheaters. She cheated on her assignment. I can't
believe Jill lied. Jill should give breakdowns. She get breakdowns
in movies. Thank you for expressing kind words about immigants,
especially during this time. Thank you very much, very appreciate.
It was me talking about the brutalist, and there he is.
You know, he's digging his call in Philadelphia, and people
don't realize until they sit down at the coffee shop.
That he is just this amazing architect. It's something else.

(01:08:19):
I love your review The Brutallest Fountain as job. Okay,
let's move on to John Camuci.

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
What do you got?

Speaker 5 (01:08:24):
So I had the movie a Nora, and I should
first say here, this is not a safer work movie,
in fact, not even really safe for home. Oh really,
joining scene of the movie, you see things everywhere, all things.

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
I was like, what movie am I really getting into
right now? Completely?

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
What is this about? I know nothing about this movie.

Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
So Noora is, as you would say, a lady of
the night. She works in the adult industry.

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
Why would you say, I would say, I commonly talk
about them a lady of the night, A lady of
the night.

Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
That's a term I learned from Valentine.

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
You don't know that term, A lady of the night,
a lady of the evening. No, I love that you
all right.

Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
But it's about Annie, who is in the adult industry, and.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
She meets this that's I learned from you adult instreet.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
They see we're learning from each other here.

Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
So she meets this kid who is the son of
a Russian oligarch and so obviously his family's got money,
and he ends up paying her to just hang out
with them, right, just some companionship, and then they do
what all young kids do and they spend too much
time together. They fall in love, right, And so since
he's got all this money, they go to Vegas and
they get married in Vegas out of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (01:09:26):
Right then the dude's parents find out.

Speaker 5 (01:09:30):
And how would you react if your son just went
and married someone that works in the adult industry?

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
Right, Well, well.

Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
They're not they're not really cool with it. So they
try and break them up. And that's kind of what
this movie is about. The rich parents and the difference
in class and they try and break them up.

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
And a drama or is it funny?

Speaker 5 (01:09:48):
Like what it's interesting is that it is a drama,
but it's shockingly funny. Okay, I found myself laughing throughout
the entire movie. But it's not really a comedy, but there's.

Speaker 4 (01:09:56):
So much funny within it.

Speaker 5 (01:09:59):
Very raw, it's very explicit, but you also get very
emotionally invested. Yeah, it's basically pretty woman adjacent though, like
if you like pretty women, it's very similar to that.

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
But it shows a lot of the pretty.

Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
Shows, a lot of the pretty Pretty Women.

Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
Yeah, shows a lot of the pretty women, a lot
of many of the things.

Speaker 4 (01:10:15):
And my favorite part the ending.

Speaker 5 (01:10:17):
I'm not going to blow it for you, but it's
sad and it's real, and I don't like a happy ending.

Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
Like for me to really love a movie, I don't
want it to end great, and this one I think
is going to kind of shock you.

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
I would have taken that phrase out based on all
the other phrases he'd mentioned, you know what I mean.
I mean, oh yeah, I would just I said something different,
but okay, I'd read it.

Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
Nine out of ten dollars billis wow, nine out of
ten dollar bills.

Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
So now you're ten dollar bills.

Speaker 7 (01:10:43):
Some people are pointing out you were assigned Nickel Boys
and you just like decided to watch something.

Speaker 5 (01:10:48):
Way what I did change the movie that I was
a sign word she would have changed her.

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
I would have not watched a three and a half
hour movie if I could change it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:58):
Couldn't find Nickel Boys? How could you not find Nickel Boys?
We had our little screener thing.

Speaker 5 (01:11:02):
Yeah, it wasn't one of the movies that were that
was a fine, respectfully, I was like, let's just change
the movie. No one picked a Nora, and I felt
like it was huh when I heard.

Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
Kale and John cheating.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Yeah, honestly, you only get one honest person so far
in this show. All right, you started this morning of TikTok,
you said no, I started.

Speaker 11 (01:11:23):
The movie last night started and I fell asleep right
and then I woke up. I didn't have enough time,
so that I freaked out and watched reviews and like
recaps this morning on TIT and and lied to us
until we didn't like, well, we had the dragon out
of you.

Speaker 4 (01:11:37):
Yeah, but it was a lie of a mission.

Speaker 6 (01:11:38):
Detective questions, are your full movie?

Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
Yes? I did, and I just told you all about it, Brian, Okay,
I'll keep my quick.

Speaker 7 (01:11:45):
I watched the Sow after this, the Substance with Demi Moore,
and oh my god, this movie is bonkers. It kind
of messed me up for a few days, but I
loved it. Highly recommend.

Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Much like John's.

Speaker 7 (01:11:59):
Review, you see some nudity, You will see some stuff
Demi Moore? Have you ever wanted to see her completely naked?
Jack Margaret Quality wanted to see every part of her body?

Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
You also see, wow, a lot of naked movies this
year at the Academy Awards.

Speaker 7 (01:12:15):
Yes, this is a straight up horror movie. Okay, but
it's really well done. Uh you know, there's some disturbing
things in Okay. I don't want to say too much
about the Plant. It's about an actress who feels extreme
pressure to go to be younger and more youthful with
new women coming in and she takes.

Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
Like the most extreme.

Speaker 7 (01:12:37):
Lengths to do that, and it just gets crazier and crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
Horror movie.

Speaker 7 (01:12:41):
It's a horror movie. Debbie Moore deserves to win the Oscar.

Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
I really, I haven't seen these other movies.

Speaker 3 (01:12:48):
I still believe it's true.

Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
She's so good.

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Yeah, gotcha, Laura? What was your movie?

Speaker 6 (01:12:54):
I didn't get a signed one.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
But have you seen did you seen all of them?
What have you seen?

Speaker 9 (01:12:59):
Well?

Speaker 22 (01:12:59):
It's seen them, but I would Yes, I do have
nerds on many of them. But I will say the
best one I believe is The Substance, and I stand
by that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:08):
Whats that this weekend?

Speaker 6 (01:13:09):
It is incredible?

Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
What about the Dylan one?

Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
Would you think.

Speaker 4 (01:13:14):
Was complete? That was so good bye for two hours?
He's blowing in the wind. The answer is blowing in
the wind.

Speaker 6 (01:13:28):
He's my issue.

Speaker 22 (01:13:29):
I'm sure if there's a Harry Styles biopick in thirty years,
I'm gonna eat that up right.

Speaker 4 (01:13:34):
But it just wasn't for me.

Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
It wasn't going to go out on stage, twirl around
and address and you could be like, oh my god,
that was fantastic. I just but Dylan has substance to it,
and Dylan The Complete and None was a snapshot of
Dylan's career. I liked that it didn't do this full
span of his career of like twenty five years, and
you didn't see the ups and downs of the rocker
and stuff. It was a snapshot to that Newport Folk
Festival and the ups and downs of.

Speaker 6 (01:13:58):
That, the boring part of his career.

Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
What No, that was so good? You didn't like the music? No?

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
I walked out of there and I opened up the
iheartradeo AP and I started listening to Dylan after that.

Speaker 6 (01:14:10):
Okay, that's a choice.

Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
You were allowed to do that. Oh my gosh, you
did listen. You do not know the history of Newport
and once you went electric that.

Speaker 22 (01:14:22):
Probably as someone who's watched them all, I think you
guys did excellent reviews. Okay, I stand by Jill, I
do not think Dune two or one is for everyone,
and that's okay. I think Honora is fantastic, okay, And
then you know, The Brutalist is three and a half hours,

(01:14:42):
so do what you will with that information.

Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
Long, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's very long.

Speaker 4 (01:14:46):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
Well, thank you guys for reviews. And who do you
think is gonna win best Movie this weekend? Your answer
was The Substance.

Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
No Substance.

Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
I'm hoping for Wicked.

Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Oh yeah, we didn't review that one. You figure that
one out.

Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
I'm voting for my own and Nora.

Speaker 2 (01:15:01):
All right, I'll vote for the Brutalist. We'll see this
coming Monday. Who was right?

Speaker 4 (01:15:07):
They're playing us on the stage.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
Guys, thank you so much for listening to this Oscar
nomination review. It's Valentin in the Morning. This is one
of four to three if coming on next we'll review
short films, my fam. It's Valentin in the Morning. These

(01:15:38):
texts are coming in. Can you guys post this listen
on Instagram? The movie sound really good, but I won't
remember the names of all of them. Yes, Laura's gonna
put up a recap. You'll just watch your original Dune.
It's only one part with better graphics.

Speaker 9 (01:15:49):
Okay.

Speaker 11 (01:15:49):
Yeah, my sister Jenna, she loved both.

Speaker 6 (01:15:52):
Dude, she loved those movies.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
They're both great. A complete unknown deserves to win. That
was great.

Speaker 4 (01:15:58):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Now my husband and I have a few movies to watch,
Thank you, guys. I'm gonna watch Nora first. So Lefa
John mentioned how the ending is. I also don't like
happy endings.

Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
Let's be real.

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
I'd like to see something more realistic. Love you guys, same.
Val I took my mom and did not care about Dylan,
but I left the movie and started researching Bob Dylan.
Thank you for Dylan. Val I gave you Bob Dylan. People.
So a lot of great texts coming in here, and
people are very excited about watching some of these movies.
Briden Scroll It's okay, Jill. Part of the female experience

(01:16:30):
is a fall asleep during the Dune movies. Okay, Okay,
Brian needs to do all movie reviews. Yeah right, so
you guys are now reviewing adult films. Okay, And Nora
was great. I would never choose to watch a movie
like that, but it was a great movie. Way to
blow the ending, happy ending. I bet most of your listeners. Okay, fine,
you guys, I've read enough.

Speaker 1 (01:16:52):
One A four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 11 (01:16:58):

so they will be teenagers in Shrek five. It'll be

Who did you say?

Speaker 8 (01:18:38):

Speaker 6 (01:18:38):
Us on the flute, Zanfir and he is.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Famous floutest Okay, it's a heat. Yeah, he was a
famous floutest flutist. Whatever you want to say.

Speaker 4 (01:18:46):
Okay, is he your favorite flutist?

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
No? No, not, my favorite. Ron Burgundy was my favorite.

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Minzo Yeah, Lizzo, Yeah, there you go get stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
She's looking away again. She can't look at her faces?
Why is that?

Speaker 6 (01:18:58):
I gotta turn my neck when I.

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
