Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay Welcome to the
breakfast table, a Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh my god, I help.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's respectful to say I love you.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now. One of four.
Speaker 4 (00:12):
Three, my m it's Valentine in the Morning. Five ten.
It's already Tuesday. Oh man, gosh, do we love a
three day weekend?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Just be like this? I just every time we have
a three day weekend, I say it. It just it
should be like this every.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
Time, and then the week's gonna be nice and short.
Next week is gonna feel like a very very long week.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah, not excited for that.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
But did you have a good weekend?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Had a great weekend? Do you have a good weekend?
Speaker 4 (00:33):
I did. Didn't do much of anything, just like go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
The best feeling is like I did something different because
I didn't anywhere this three day weekend. We had the
weekend off, and so Sunday night, I decided to have
my full Sunday routine that I would normally have if
I was going to work Monday, so.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
I could early bedtime, right, Because.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Every Monday or every Sunday night, I'm like I wish
I didn't have work tomorrow, you know, so I could
sleep in a little bit. But then this Sunday I
did my regular Sunday routine and I was able to
just enjoy the next day sleeping in. It was miracle.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
So how much sleep did you get? Did you get
like a me amount of sleep?
Speaker 2 (01:03):
No, Lit's relax. Eight am tops is my sleep? Yeah,
that's like the most I could do.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
I think I slept till eleven thirty yesterday I have thirty. Well,
I woke up at like three like my normal body, like, yeah,
you know the time I normally wake up, My body
just knows to wake up. Had like the freak out
of what day is it? Where am I am? I
supposed to be going to work? Yeah, then fell back
to sleep for like another eight hours. It's so weird.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's honestly impressive. I just I couldn't do that.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
And then was able to go to bed last night
nine but a little later than normal.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Still.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
We are starting What's That Noise at seven twenty five today,
And if you've never played, John, can you explain to
us how this game works?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, it's super easy. We play your Noise on the air.
You listen to it. You take a guess at what
it is. If you're wrong, we're adding a bunch of
money to that jackpot until someone gets it right, and
that one lucky person's going to be sent home with
a truckload of money.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
And there is a Council of Noise and inner circle
of trust that UH staff members here at my FM,
and Brian just sent us an email, you know, so
that John and I I got it. I gotta get
it out. I won't say any other names, but Brian
sent John and I and Val and email so that
(02:16):
we know what our first noise is when we debut
the game at seven twenty five. And I'm seeing all
the names of the people on the inner Circle of
Trust in the Council of Noise, and I've got some questions,
who are these people and why are they in there?
And why can't I be in there.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I can't say it out loud because if I was
on the other end of this microphone here, I might
listen for someone who is compromisable.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Oh that's good. Yeah, we won't say names.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
We can't say who else is in this circle.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
But wow, I thought that we were all a team here.
Apparently not I just I just want it. It's one
of those things where if you're not a member, you
want to get in so.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
That the security guards know it. I'm gonna tell you
pressing that to your traffic.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
We've found ten in the morning. All right, Natalia, how
are you? How are you doing?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I'm great?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
How are you do? I'm gonna tell you a second.
Let me fix my headphones. You guys can talk to him.
Tell you because somebody broke my headphone. He got the wire.
I touched you a little um, but just pulled a
wire out like that and put it back over it,
and then it's not broken anymore.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
I twisted a bunch of knobs to on the bunch
of buttons, and everything, everything is gonna be off for
the next hour.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
So I was gone visiting my mom. Now you pressed buttons.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
When I am running the controls, I get anxious and
then my body just starts right.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I'm sorry, all right to tell you, thank you for asking.
I'm fine. I'm looking to see what he's messed up
here in the controls. Why on God's green nerve if
I cleared you for your training, I don't even know
it was guilt, Honestly, it must have been. I appreciate you.
You showed me a picture of his family. Oh my god,
look at my is She's so cute. She growing up
so much. Could you clear me of the training and
(03:57):
you cleared him? Yeah, there's a bi annual training that
Brian has to go through his emergency board operator and
I have to clear him board as he controls run
the radio station. And I had to clear the guy
of it. And I saw it off at John Peak.
John Peak discussing me what you think you know? I'm like, ah, yeah,
he's he's got it, man. If there's an emergency, he
could do it. All right, We'll clear him again, see
him in six months. And now here we are here,
(04:21):
we are on the air. Are we? I don't know who?
Are we on the air? Text in three one oh
four to three. Yeah, I'm back. It's been a very stressful.
It's sun Joe on the phone, and sorry, but late.
I was so stressed because I flew home on Monday
night of last week and I was on the air
with you guys Tuesday. No, it's on your Wednesday Thursday, right,
And then I took Friday off and we flew my
(04:43):
mom home Sunday mom's eighty five, Alzheimer's and handicaps, so
heck of a flight. Heck of a flight. So flew
her from you know, there in Connecticut to here in
California at a facility near me, just six minutes from
the house, which is great. It is just checked in
and my sister's here for a week kind of helping
out stuff. But it's you know, it's just like, hey,
(05:04):
here was your life for sixty five years and now
boom here you are, right. So it's a process, big adjustment, yeah,
for everybody, honestly, not just her, but the biggest for
her obviously, And it's just heartbreaking in certain points and
then you know it's okay at other points and you're like,
all right, it's gonna be care And then you're like,
you do things like all right, hey, I asked for
somebody help come change and then not hear yet. How
long does that takes? So you had to learn the process,
(05:25):
you know what I mean. And then the place where
she was staying at nice people, but it was a
quick rehab place. It wasn't meant for long term or anything.
And they have like a memory care of lockdown place too.
This is a funny thing. I'll tell you. They thought
I was a resident. So I don't know what vibes
I'm giving off, but I was leaving. I was leaving
(05:46):
one night. I was leaving the place and was going
back to my mom's house. So she was staying at
this the rehab facility in Connecticut after a fall, and
then we moved her out here, right, so while in town,
I would just stay. We're you know, I grew up
at that house and so visiting mom. And it's now
like nine o'clock at night. I'm getting out of there
or something. All the doors are locked up and stuff,
and it's a code to get out, but I don't
know that. So I'm walking towards the door and I
(06:06):
see a nurse in front of me, and she's yelling
back to Susan at the desk, Susan, what's the code
for the door? Again? Gotta get my pizza. So she
had a pizza delivered and left it outside the security doors,
right and I'm walking behind her. Go, oh, good thing,
you got the code, I said. She goes, oh, yeah, yeah.
She goes, are you a resident? I go, no, No,
(06:29):
I was just visiting my mom. She goes, okay, okay, okay,
just I had to ask, you know, I don't you
don't pull it fasten on me yourself? And no, no,
I visited my mom. Sheilla down in the hall in
two thirty two or whatever. Right, So she opens the door,
she bends down, she gets a pizza, and I'm waiting
for her to clear the area so you can walk through.
And she says one more time. Are you're sure you're
not a resident?
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Right?
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Because if you got out that would be bad for me.
So you're sure you're not a resident. I'm like, I'm
walking fine. I'm thinking, you know, I'm not disabled or anything.
I seem okay. I thought thought I was all together.
And I'm like, no, no, this is my mom, not
a resident. Here's my car keys, you know, let's show
my ID to get out or something.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
I think there needs to be a better.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
System, probably right, well, this is where the system goes south. Right,
Just your an honor system, right.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
So then I go through the security doors. I look
back and he I go. I ran to my car.
She never reported me, but for the rest of her days,
she's going to wonder did I lose one?
Speaker 6 (07:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:23):
She went home that night eight or pizza going. I
don't know. I'll go to the staff meeting tomorrow. If
nobody says anything, I'm not saying anything. Maybe one just
got away, you know, Oh god, that last part, I
want to be next to you. You feel like you're
saying that's Jill like that part right there. Yeah, when
she hears it, she goes, Listen, Jeff, we don't have
any exclusions. We're five weeks into our marriage and stuff.
(07:45):
But I'm just saying that Brute Mars might be singing
that to me.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
One of the first videos I showed him from the
show when we first started dating was our interview with
Brute Mars.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Of course he did just to let you know, Hey, Jeff, Yeah,
this guy wants me bad. He's into me, Anderson Pack
is into me. For Mars into me. Is that the
video where they're all like into you. They're talk about
your turtle neck or something.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Yeah, they wanted to talk about my love life.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
And what's under your turtle neck?
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I said what they came in. I wasn't gonna wear
turtle neck.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
It was, yeah, like, why are we talking about turtlenecks
because I was wearing a turtle neck, right, and they
wanted you not wear the turtle neck.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Well, what happened was I was so embarrassed. I pulled
the turtle neck up.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Over like a little turtle.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And then Anderson Pack was like, look at Jill stretching
out the turtle neck. And then I was like, I
won't be wearing a turtle neck when you guys come in.
I don't know. Something came over me and I became
incredibly like seductive in that interview. I don't know it
was that's that is the effect of Bruno Mars.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Were we in the same movie? Was she incredibly seductive?
Speaker 2 (08:47):
I don't feel like anyone even noticed you were there.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
I don't think so either. There are times when we
do interviews where you know, somebody gets into Jill or
you know, even John over here now since he's new
you too. No, no, no, they never came by, but
they just get into him and I'm like, I'll ask
a question and they're like and they turned an answer
it to Jill. I'm like, well him right here?
Speaker 4 (09:07):
No, who was it that came in? That was just
like locked in with Valentine.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Recently, Katy Perry, she was I was surprised. Katy Perry.
There was something you find somebody else, and I'll tell
you why. Surprise of Katy Perry. Katy Perry notoriously has
gone for younger guys on our show, and she was
in love with Kevin Mano for a while when he
was on the show. She was in love with John
the last time around. I don't know if this time
she just saw more grays and John's hair. I don't
know what it was. No, I think so he was John.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
She's like too old now.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Too old now. But I'm wailed. Yeah, but you're.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
You're so old that you come back around.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
That's it. I'm so old. I come back around, right.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
I was looking for something there?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Did you come back around? It's like your final lap,
It's the victory lap, and they go, oh, there he
is guy. Yeah, he used to be somebody right there.
Speaker 7 (09:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
When I was younger, I used to listen to the carnation.
You're closed to be starting, you.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Know, restarting, dude. I'm now I'm croaking. I took my
eighty five year old mom to facility and you've got
me going now too.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Jeez, appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Thank you. So I was showing them the ring cameras
at my mom's house in Connecticut. I've got this thing
on lockdown, man, lockdown Ring's pretty cool. Should I got
that at my house? I didn't, But I've got like
cameras galore at that place, and then these critical alerts.
If anything happens, boom, my phone blows up right. And
I've got like the security company coming out too, I think,
And it's pretty much on lockdown. It's all set. And
(10:27):
I got WiFi light bulbs which are really cool, but
they're like timers built in their Wi Fi enabled it
over the internet. And I bumped into an officer from
my old police department when I was at the memory
care unit for mom in Connecticut, the Rehi facility, and
my sister's impressed. I see him, I go, sergeant, I
bother you for a second. He just happened to be
(10:49):
there visiting somebody, right, Can I bother you for a second.
And my mom's moved to California. We're not going to
do anything with the property until spring. Can I get
a couple of PCs over there and maybe I can
swing past and talk to the desk sergeant about it,
or you write it up for me, because yeah, I'll
write it up for you right now. My family was like,
what is he saying? PC little property check, you know,
talking about the desk. Sergeant got it all man, look
(11:10):
at you. So they're they're going to take my mom's
house and turn it into a police station house. That's
what we're going to do.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
He's a mind for you, which is nice.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Yeah, a little bit helps out. But it sounds like,
you know, but by the way, what happened to the
plumbers that listen to our show? I asked that question
on the air. Not one plumber responded.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Again, No, I swear we we got some text.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Oh and you never told me.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
It's a huge text screen in our studio. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
What if you're gonna say with but nobody told me
what the plumbers said. What they say? I can go
back in my God, I saw like over two days.
I'm like, hey, we're turning off you know, or we're
leaving my mom's house. We have to leave the water
Maine on for the heat, because that's how it works
in New England. But should I turn off the faucets
beneath the sink, you know, the isolation valves? And I
was waiting for an answer, and I didn't do it.
(11:59):
I didn't do it because none of you told me
what this said.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
So there were a lot of mixed reviews. Oh really,
if you're plum, if you're leaving the heater on, you
shouldn't have to. You should keep the water on as well.
But then some people are saying, I'm not a plumber,
but of course you can shut off.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I didn't want I'm not a plumber.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
As a plumber, you should definitely turn off the valves,
or you can just turn off the main water and leave.
Speaker 7 (12:19):
Well.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Sell me that clear that I couldn't turn the main
water off, though it seems like they're now listening. That's
what I'm saying, you plumbers. You might have let me
down there. I don't know, guys, you might have let
me down.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
We could call a plumber, yeah, or like google.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
It or something. You suck, you suck, you know what.
I'm bearing my soul lately on this radio show, and
you were just you didn't even take my phone calls today.
I called Brian like three times coming into work today
and didn't take my calls.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I don't know why my phone was off, but I
will make it up to you.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Hey, newsflash, this is just fun for me. One of
our new neighbors is a FBI agent. Yeah cool, right,
I don't was retired tonight, you might retired. Buddy was
telling Colin, who was over the house the other night
visiting his daughter because they go the same school and stuff,
and he goes, yeah, I called it in your dad's
show back in like twenty twelve. Oh really they were
(13:12):
moving to London, him and his family, and we give
him a shout out on the air and stuff like that.
He was a big listener of the show. Still listens.
But imagine that, like guy working for the FBI is
driving to like work every day and he's an FBI agent.
He's listening to us. Yeah yea for plumber talk, everybody
wants to know what do you do with the valvesman,
if you're sink, if you're you know, shutting down the
house for the winter or something like that. All right,
(13:35):
five forty nine, what are you guys doing? Reach out?
Let us know eight sixty six, five four to four
of my families take some calls or texting three one
oh four to three. I'm gonna tell you president, that's
your traffic with found ten in the morning. All right, Natalia,
thank you. I almost didn't make it back to the
microphone there. Guys, by the way, today, you know what
I have with me?
Speaker 4 (13:51):
What?
Speaker 1 (13:51):
What is this? Pumpkins spice latte? But what is it?
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Darry Why? I just hate to be that guy, but
I don't think anyone in here drinks dairy.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
But you I can't handle.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Can't handle it.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Too many trips to the old room.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Well it's yeah, it's got fat milking. I'm so sorry
for you. It's all black, all right. Well, well Laura
will have some probably, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, there the guys,
Laura and I got some pumpkins spice whatever stuff today.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Nice was it?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
I was telling you guys before I went to commercial
break there when we finally got to the airport, this
was a whole big thing. Trying to move to the
eighty five a sandicap with Alzheimer's a real big thing, right.
I was telling Jill this earlier the day before, and
I don't think Mom would care. She's not listening right
now anyways, She's asleep, please God. The day before we're
at this rehab center in Connecticut, and we told him, hey,
(14:53):
listen to myself and one of my sisters would be
accompanying my mom out here to California. I said, let's
go low fiber diet. You know, we don't want and
anybody in the business knowns just any bowel movements on
that plane because she's handicapped. Of course those things are
teeny right, we don't want any of those problems. It's
low fiber diet, right.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
So the afternoon, we're about to head to the airport.
She's having lunch at that place for one last time.
What are they feeding her? Beans? Yea, minds baked beans.
And I'm like, dude, in the world a low fiber
like beans is pure fiber. That's like I think kids
know that. I like, you asked a four year old
(15:32):
the beans of fiber? You go, dud, dude, you met
to do, you know? And I look at Mom like
a mom. Just a couple of spoonfuls, that's it. She's
like you and just pounding the beansund didn't care. It's like,
not gonna be my problem. I'm not gonna see what's
coming out. And it's just a nightmare. So we, you know,
we finally get to the airport and everything like that,
and she starts eating everything in the lounge because I
(15:55):
got her into the lounge, and then we get on there.
We finally get on the plane, which is a nightmare too,
because I mom was very generous. She booked three first
class tickets. She was paying for it, and I'm looking
at first class. I'm like, ah, this is gonna be tight.
It's gonna be tight for a handicapped person to scoot
into these seats. There were like little pods or something. Right.
I go to the lady at the gate, I go,
do you think we could find three people from you know,
(16:17):
the next class of service that would mind change and
sitting up front. She goes, oh my god, I'm sure
somebody would love that. I go, yeah, I gonna have
to eat the costs, but just for my mom to
get into a seat, she needs more leg room versus
what they had in first class, you know. And she goes, okay, okay,
so come back in a few minutes. I'll have that settle.
So the time we get back to the gate, get
mom on the plane. Everything, the flight attendant and the
gate lady that's not the name, sorry gate lady lady.
(16:40):
I'm listen, I'm on you know, a few brain cells here. Okay,
So the what the hell do you call it at
the gate?
Speaker 5 (16:50):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, the customer service representative. Right, okay, So the young
lady at the gates, the American employee, she goes to me, okay, sir,
we got She all said, I got you two tickets
in business, and I kept your sister in first class.
You couldn't find anybody else in business or something that
one of them sitting first class. And the ring goes
(17:12):
my sister, okay, all right, I'll do it. I'll sit
in first class and you sit with mom in the
back by. So it was fine, but then Mom, she
gets in the plane. They bring you food, they bring
you nuts and all this stuff, and she's pounded. I'm like, Mom,
the nuts. Let's slow down the nuts. We'll split a nut,
I said to the flight attendant. No, not one nut,
like a thing of nuts. We'll split a thing of nut. Son,
(17:36):
I'll split one Brazilian nut and half half persillonnium for
the day. So we split one nut. Play. But Mom's
like hitting my hand, like leave the nuts alone and stuff.
And then they bring her, you know, salad, and they
bring her a dinner, and they keep bringing stuff and
I'm like, she just ate beans. Stop it. And then
(17:56):
I say to the I'm like holding up notes to
the flight attendant so Mom can't hear me say it.
Mom's got headphones on, you're watching Barbie anyway, but I'm
holding up a note. I go, do not offer the
ice cream. I do not because that's a lot of
lactous for mom get, you know, moving things along, everything
going in. So she doesn't offer that. She comes around
the big glass of milk and a cookie for her,
(18:18):
and I'm like, what are you doing? And Mom goes, yes, yes,
and she's pounding the cookie, drinking the milk, and I'm like,
oh Jesus, God help me. So we got off the
plane and then Uber Handicap sucks. They never showed up.
They never showed up. I mean, listen, we all love Uber, right,
(18:40):
but they let us down so big at that airport,
so big because I my priests wear it there. But
I know if if the wheelchair everything in the price,
so I end up. I'm trying to order Uber Handicap
where you can like wheel the person in. I'm trying
to do it because confirmed, but then it says only
if you're sure that your handicap, can you use this?
But then nothing shows up and this tracking because it
(19:00):
really isn't confirmed, is some other step that either nobody's
in the area or it just wasn't working. My sister
tried in her phone. It didn't work, so I go,
all right, screw it, let's have to get like a
black Sedan and just eat the cost. So I click
on the car for black Sedan. Guy shows up in
an suv. I'm like, dude, she can't climb in the
suv and Yeas, who's speaking languages that I don't know,
and I know a lot of languages. He would just
(19:21):
know we're gonna lift her in. You're gonna lift her in.
I'm like, no, you're not. She's eighty five r mom.
I'm not using you, Yas, And then he goes hold
on and he gets somebod guy speaks fingers on the phone,
and the guy's like, I've got a car. I can
be there. I'm like, who are you? Jazz's friend in
the phone who has a car. Yas called his friend.
They want that fare so bad. I'm like, no, you're
not Uber. I'm Uber. I'm like, you're not Uber because
(19:42):
I didn't press the button to get you your yazz's friend.
He'll be called. So the yaz wouldn't leave. It was
like twenty minutes. It's sitting there yelling at me and stuff.
I'm like, yes, go away. Sorry if your name is yes,
I'm like, get out of here. So we finally goes
screw try and get everybody in the prius. Got everything
in the prius. My sister sat in the back with
the wheelchair and lug it on her lap. You'd ever
do one of those yeah clown card, but it Workeds
(20:04):
got his home, mane, she got home. I got plenty
more stories, but that's enough for one day. That's enough
for one You guys, you've been troopers through these stories.
Thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Oh we're glad that she's here.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
First day of school for my son today. Shout out
to you guys. Three one o four to three. Thank you.
Vow my god, what a nightmare. Sorry. Yeah, gate agent, Yes,
gate agent, that's what I call it, gate lady, gate lady.
Oh my gosh, you have the playing bathrooms people talking
about that they're so small.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Oh there's a plumber.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
There's a plumber. No, I can't turn them off now,
Oh my gosh, thank you my plumber friend eight sixty
six five four four FM texting three one oh four
to three my family, It is Valentine in the morning
six eleven. John says he's got a funny story.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Let's hear it's oh man, this killed me. So this weekend,
and remember, I live in a house with four other roommates, right,
and my friends. We run a house.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Dudes, right, all dudes, All dudes, all dudes.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
We're all around the age of thirty give to take
a couple of years. So this weekend, my roommate has
a girlfriend and her little sister just turned twenty one.
And so, to her credit, she text us about a
week ago and she was like, Hey, do you mind
if I come swimming at your pool, at your pool
on my twenty first birthday with a couple of friends.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
We're like, yeah, sure of course. Like so she's throwing
a party at your house. Well, we didn't think that
at first. How did you not think that? I thought
that I don't know the girl. Well, twenty first birthday.
Can I bring some friends over and swim in your pool?
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah? We do that a lot on the weekends. We'll
bring a couple of friends over and we'll just swim.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yeah, swimming. I would have flagged that right away.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
So usually you would say can I have a party
right your house?
Speaker 1 (21:40):
No, I mean some people would, but some people who
might be less considerate wouldn't say that.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Well, we should have known, we didn't.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I knew it right away. You should have called me.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
So that's Saturday at the that's Saturday at my pool.
She starts bringing over some decorations and they start setting
up the house hold on a minute, what's happening at
the house, Like, no, we're set at the house for
a couple of friends. So I leave and I go
get dinner and I come back. Sure, And when I
come back, there's a gentleman setting up a photo booth
in our backyard.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Stop. She said, can I bring some people over this
swim in the pool? Twenty first? Now there's a photo
booth in the backyard.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Yes, I'm stranger that I don't know is setting up
this inflatable photo booth in our backyard. They paid them
for a couple of hours. Photo decorations all over the house.
There are balloons, there's Happy twenty one, And I was like,
oh no.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Like this is your taco truck.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
It's a party. There's no taco truck, which is good,
but they loaded up our table with more snacks than
I could eat in a week, my goodness. So I'm like, great,
this is going to be a party. She's like, yeah,
it's going to be a little party. So people start coming.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Who is this kid again?
Speaker 2 (22:39):
She is my roommate's girlfriend's little sister.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Dear god, Yeah, your roommate's girlfriend's little sister.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Did she clarify with her sister and your roommate that
it was going to be a party.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
She claims, yes.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Oh okay, so the room he probably just said to you, hey,
my girlfriend's little sister wants to come swim, because she
didn't reach out to all of you individually, right right,
gonna be on your roommate because I bet he didn't
tell you guys, oh it's a bit of a party,
because he wanted to get some action from his girlfriend.
So he was him more than anybody, right exactly.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
So she works at Disneyland, and all of the Disneyland
cast is at our house.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Oh no, okay, I wish I was there.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Yeah, honestly a lot. So I walk out of my room,
I go to get something out of the garage. I'm
like checking on everything, and as soon as I'm coming
back in a bunch shoulders with this guy and he
turns around, he goes, oh my god, John Camuci, I
listen every morning. I didn't know you guys really do
throw the fattest party.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I was like, he thought it was like your party.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
He was like, so then you're like taking credit for it,
and I was.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Like, no, no, no, like, we don't do this. We haven't
had a party in years. We're all almost thirty. We haven't
thrown a party like this in years. And he's like, yeah, yeah,
we're almost thirty. He's like we're adults. And he's like,
don't worry, I'll keep your secret. And I was like, no,
you don't understand, like this doesn't happen that.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
You are a frat boy through and through. No, no, no, no,
we haven't thrown People that have been telling me that
you throw fat parties. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Stormtroopers there, storm troopers.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
We had princesses, friends friends of Mickey, friends of princesses.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Okay, well they were like in costume and stuff, like
they brought.
Speaker 5 (24:19):
We're supposed to pretend that I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Mickey Mouse is it's real.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
They didn't tell you how Mickey Mouse sad you weren't there?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Y Mouse was there? Not Mickey, this guy stormtroopers and everything?
What else? And Princess Leah was there? Who was?
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I wasn't checking who everyone is when they walked in
the door.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
How's the house like in good condition? After everybody left?
Speaker 2 (24:42):
The annoying part was I just told you guys too.
We went through this deep cleaning session.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Yeah, and then they trashed it or you know, party.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
They woke it up the next morning and into the
credit all the girls cleaned.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Up and wait, they stayed the night. Now the girls did? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
wow how many girls?
Speaker 2 (24:57):
I mean the girls When I'm saying that, I'm meaning
my girlfriend or my roommate's girlfriend, her little sister and
her boy.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
No, you're getting lost in the story because the Libya
just tuned in. She was there. Oh what's going on
this dem sin? Yeah? Wow?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
And I thought that was so funny that they're like,
wow that the rumors are true.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah. I knew it. Listen, I knew it from the start.
I could smell a party in this guy from mile away,
so I knew the party happened, and like I've always said,
this guy is just a he's a partier man. He parties,
he said.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
When we walked in, he was like he heard me
greet him because I happened to be walking by. Hey, man, welcome,
Like watch your step. Yeah, my god, that's John. I'm
in the house.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
I'm in the party house. Is the legendary frat house. No,
what do you get Delta Kai or something?
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Orth No, we haven't. No, absolutely not no.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
What's your your fraternity? Yes, exactly, absolutely not Delta Kai.
That's exactly right. Value've nailed it, Okay. Over the weekend,
did evacuation warning position for people living in ranchall Palas
Verdes due to a landslide that's been happening for years.
So cal Edis remember cut off power about one hundred
and forty homes in the area. With that safety precaution
of theirs, the ground's been moving about a foot per week.
(26:06):
The people lost power already had their gas service cut
off two about a month ago. I don't know what
we do for these people. I don't know what insurance covers,
but these homes are gonna be in in in what's
the word, yes, jees dude, you take a couple of
cross country flights. Well, they're also well, yes, inhabitable, What
(26:30):
a lovely word. Plumbers and utility companies are warning that
not all flushable wipes should be flushed down the toilet. Guys,
I've been preaching this for years. No one's listening to me.
He goes in with a pack like a dude wipes
or something into the bathroom and thinks he can flush them.
I'm like, just because it says flushable doesn't mean it's good.
(26:52):
I think the dude wipes are okay. No, it says
flushable on them, which means they'll physically go down the toilet.
But then they get stuck in these massive turbines at
the sewage plant and they have to open them up
and clean all this stuff out.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
We had a plumber tell us that because we have
old plumbing, we shouldn't flush dude wipes either.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
No, don't do it. Use toilet paper like the rest
of the world, or be like Laura and I and
get the days live like kings and queens. They say
some of them don't actually break down, like John standing disintegrade,
which can create expensive clogging issues. It's not always easy
to tell which wipes are truly flushible. Companies are required
to test their own products before labeling them as fushible,
(27:28):
but there's no third party of verification. Plenty of things
are flushable. The legos that your kid has, they're flushable.
They'll go down, but doesn't mean it's going to cause
you problems down the road, you know, so watch out
for that, John, what's trending?
Speaker 2 (27:43):
So Halloween costumes are starting to trend pretty heavy right now.
It's always better to get a jump on this pretty early.
One costume that's gone viral. Target has a full size
Stanley Cup costume. Stop using the little pool float. He
is the straw and this got in there. There's for
adults and kids. It's actually not bad anyway. Use this
as your remind they'll get started on that Halloween costume now,
so you're not struggling last minute and you're the same
(28:03):
thing you've been for the last five years. I'm John Comucci.
That's what's tining on socials.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
God, I'm so like sometimes not out of touch. I
think I'm pretty much in touch. But he said Stanley
Cupp and I went to the trophy and then I realized, Okay, sorry,
about the sailing cup.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
That's not out of touch.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
That's just a different world. Yeah, thanks, babe. It's twenty three.
It is one of four to three mile famous Valancin
in the Morning. We're aoun hour away from the turn
of what's that noise? That's a pretty big deal. Yes,
a lot of cash. It starts at seven twenty five.
We'll play you noise in the air. Bridey, you have
that noise as an example? Oh yes, thank you. We'll
play you noise on the air. Then you have to
guess what it is three times. Please, Briy, here's an
(28:39):
example of what's that noise. We'll start this contest at
seven twenty five for a lot of cash. What's that noise?
We'll give you ten seconds and o'clock to give your guess.
If you were guessing Ryan Burton getting a weggie from
John Camucci, you'd be correct. But Wedy has taken a wedgie.
We wouldn't have taken the names. That's hard to tell.
(29:00):
That's contest. It starts seven twenty five, one of four
to three, My fem. It is Valentine in the morning.
Good morning too, Welcome to your Tuesday. One four three
my fem it is Valentine in the morning. That is
Nelly and City Spud shout out to City Spud doing
great work there with Ride with Me this computer, we
checked City Spud that we found out who they were, right,
(29:20):

written beneath the song in our computer Ride with Me
and then Nelly slash City Spud, and I feel like
back in the day, City Spud didn't get the credit
they deserve probably, you know. And were they into potatoes
or am I reading that entirely wrong? A spud being
(29:41):
another word for a potato, you know, And then of
course you have to ask our potatoes really grown in
the city. Can you have a city spud versus a
country spud?
Speaker 5 (29:50):
WHOA, Yeah, all that's coming up is the City Spud's
arrest record, So I can't I was trying to find
it answered.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
I still in jail, I don't think. So they got
out solve trouble. Yeah, alive or dead? Who knows? Right?
I think, Oh, that's great. It's like Norm McDonald's bit
years ago. It was so true. He's like, you know what,
it's just life is just Wikipedia. He goes, you open
up Wikipedia goes. Nor McDonald is an American comedian, and
he goes and one day one word changes in life
(30:20):
was an American comedian. That's it. It's crazy. I wish
City Spud the best. We're going to play a game
coming up next, right right, Yes, sir, what are.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
We doing Valentine in the Morning listener feud? We need
two people to go head to head. I've conducted a
survey over the weekend of Valentine in the Morning listeners. You
have to tell us what they're going to say.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
You conducted a service.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
I did?
Speaker 1 (30:40):

So I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
I love it. What's your son's name?
Speaker 4 (32:23):
His name is Adrian and he goes to school in Montclair?
Speaker 1 (32:27):
All right? Is Adrian in the car with you right now?
Speaker 6 (32:30):
He is?
Speaker 2 (32:31):

Oh, he's gonna love that. References in the corner. Okay,
the guy gets a rocky reference. Okay, all right. Now
to explain how it works, my friend jail.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
All right, So we asked our Valentine the Morning listeners
to questions and we gathered the top five answers. So
you guys will receive one question and you got to
tell us what the top five answers are to that question.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
You'll have forty five seconds on the clock. You get
three strikes. Here we go, starting with Kevin. Here we go.
We asked Valentine in the Morning listeners, what's the most
common things a kid would get in trouble for in school?
Summing a child we get in trouble for in school.
What do you think they said? First?
Speaker 7 (33:24):
One would be talking in class.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Talking in class. That's on there. Okay, fighting, fighting, not
on there. There's one strike, keep going, get in trouble
in school? What would it be but being late TARTI,
being late being Tarti the old tardy for.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
The party, being absent.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
On an absence? Yeah you from that other? Okay?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
All right, okay, using their phone in class?
Speaker 1 (34:01):
On there, But it will be for many kids now
phones are basically going to be banned in all of
California eventually. Bullying, bullying, All right, three strikes there you go,
So how many, right did you get?
Speaker 4 (34:13):
He's got three?
Speaker 1 (34:14):
You got three? Right? That's really good, Kevin, that's really good. Now, Stephanie,
here we go with you, a new question for you,
and let's get your answers. You forty five seconds and
three strikes. Playing along in the car, we asked Valentine
in the morning listeners, what's the most common things an
adult would get in trouble for doing while at work? So, now,
what can an adult get in trouble for while at work?
(34:36):
Doing this? At work?
Speaker 2 (34:37):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (34:39):
Texting or being on the phone while at work?
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Texting, being on the phone link, arriving late, being latest
on there. Okay, so one strike, hold on, hold on,
one stack. There's a whole big thing going on here
in the background, being on your phone.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
Could that be spending time on social media? Yes? Oh
yea absolutely, I mean she said texting that.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yeah, I'm paid attention every well that you gave it
to her. I did deal convinced me? So she has
No you didn't say, being so very fine. Continue, You've
got two rights so far and you have no seconds left.
It's all over. No, we ate up some of your time.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Go ahead, being disrespectful for that customer service.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
No, all right, keep going. That's one strike. Something else
you can get in trouble for doing while at work,
testing at work? No one more strike in ten seconds?
Something at work you could do that would get you
in trouble.
Speaker 7 (35:49):
Not wearing your uniform?
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Yeah, all right, snuck that in three seconds? Two? One?
All right? How man should get right? How did he
get right? Three? Dear God? All right, So here are
the answers. Anyway, we asked Valentine in the morning listeners,
what's the most common thing a kid would get in
trouble for at school? They said, number five? Dress code violations.
(36:12):
Four being disruptive, you know, talking too much? Three being late,
two skipping class number one cheating. We asked the Valentine
Inie Morning listeners, what's the most common things an adult
would get in trouble for doing at work? Five was
dress code violations. How you couldn't get this one drinking
on the job. What are you doing over at your place?
And I'm I know that one should have popped right away.
(36:35):
Number three spending hours on social media or texting. Two
harassing or arguing with coworkers. Number one being late. That
means we have to go to a tie break for
both of you or.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
I think because this has gone on so long, they

I'm so good? Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Were you saying, bray, just you know, keep an eye.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
We're all talking. You're all having a conversation here.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
And I had headphones on and I was about to
say one O four three, and you were still talking
about something else. And then you look shocked. You look
shocked that we're going on the air.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
I definitely forgot where I was for a second.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Which seems like at breakfast. Breakfast, Well that's what it is.
I always say, this is a breakfast table with microphone.
She just forgot there were microphones, right, yeah, yeah, and
she was deep in some story yeah, which seemed kind
of gossiping, to be honest. And I don't talk like that.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Gossipy whatsoever gets into that. It wasn't that's what it was.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
I would No, No, I don't want to talk about
gossip on there.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
It's not gossip.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
What was it.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
It was the fact that another show is doing you know,
these this best of this trip down memory lane from
like the beginning of when the show started, and I
thought that was cool. That was like a really great idea.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Great, well, let's promote that. Oh my god, I do well.
It doesn't seem like I got what's that noise over
here for us today and that we're promoting another show.
What you were gossiping about the other show? No, you
were gossiping about Michael and Julianne.
Speaker 4 (39:38):
I didn't say thing about Julianne.
Speaker 5 (39:41):
I know.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
That's how you guys started talking about the whole They're.
Speaker 4 (39:43):
Like, oh yeah, they're doing like this best of things.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
I thought was cool, but not as cool as us. No, no,
because this is not best of No, this is this
will not be this is the best we can do.
This will not be best of you know, you'll never
hear this part again because this will not be considered
best up. This is like you know, mid This is
a mid show, middle of the pack, not the worst
(40:08):
of No, we've done worse than this, right, yeah, but
is this the best of us?
Speaker 3 (40:13):
It could be.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Let's not give up on it yet.
Speaker 4 (40:17):
Okay, time six?
Speaker 1 (40:19):
All right? Still time? Yeah, yeah, John, what do you think?
Speaker 6 (40:23):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (40:23):
We should just keep going?
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Great?
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Well, yeah, we don't show.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
We're going to keep going now. It's the best of us.
You can bring that right there, you can bring it back.
He's robbing back around that comment. Just nailed it right there.
Somebody else going did your mom ever pass those beans?
I mean, guys, that was in the five o'clock hour,
Stop asking weird questions, dear god.
Speaker 5 (40:44):
Well, it was an integral part of the story you're telling,
and we never did hear the end.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
I don't We don't need to know. We don't need
to know. I don't know. It's a lot.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
It didn't happen on the plane.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Didn't happen on the plane.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
My mom is eighty five, she's living out here, now
we moved her out this past week and it's very
stressful week. And I hope, I hope anybody else going
through anything with somebody who's disabled or suffers from Alzheimer's
or any type of dementia or something like that, I
hope you guys are doing okake. It's very tough on
families and the loved one obviously, it's very tough on them,
very very tough on them. So mom's the best of
Lubbar Deerly. She's out here. She'll be six minutes from
(41:17):
my door, so that's great. Wish she could live with
me because my house, the stairs and stuff, it's too hard.
So she's out here. And the flight was just just
kept eating, kept eating everything. I'm like, Mom, these bathrooms
are not going to be good for somebody disabled. They're
just not And there's no way for somebody to get
there if you're disabled, which sucks on an airplane. Maybe
I fight for this ride. You might have somebody disabled
(41:37):
in your family too that you know about this. It's
just hard to get up and if you can't walk,
how do you get to You know, there's no chair,
there's no transfer chair, there's nothing they have there how
do you get to the bathroom? And then the bathrooms
are so darn small. How could anybody possibly help you
in those things? It's not fair to anybody who might
be handicapper disabled, It really isn't. And I've seen that firsthand.
But you kept eating. I'm like, mom, stop eating everything
(41:59):
that give you and she starts slapped my hand leaf
the nuts alone. This is my cookie, my glass and milk.
And then the flight attendants they feel bad for like, ah,
sweet old lady eighty five, and you know, blah blah blah,
let's give her everything. Stop she doesn't need Why would
you bring prune juice? Nobody gives out prune juice on
an airplane? What are you doing? So that's what they
(42:20):
were referencing because she had beans. Dude, it's a nightmare.
Six forty nine Battle of a Sex is coming up.
You want to play? You call us? Also seven twenty
five today, the big news of this Tuesday morning, the
return of what's that noise? So much cash? Routinely we
give out forty fifty thousand bucks. You can start that
cash at seven twenty five today and Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 4 (42:41):
Richard Gear has shared another scene from Pretty Woman that
was improvised. I had no idea and it's a famous scene.
I'll tell you what it is. But after traffic, Britney
Spears is caught in a legal battle between Revlon and
the new company she signed with to distribute her perfume, Curious.
(43:02):
According to reports, the case is worth a half billion
dollars because that's how much her Curious perfume has sold
since its launch about a decade ago. I was one
of those people. I was wearing Curious four years. I
love that perfume. But this lawsuit claims that a small
team of Revlon ex staffers sole trade secrets and took
(43:23):
the Brittany account with them, and they sabotaged negotiations because
Brittany ended up going to another company. It's this whole
big mess. But this company claims that these claims are
entirely without merit, and we will defend both our company
and our employees against these allegations. But half a billion
dollars And in a new interview, Richard Gear said that
there's one scene from Pretty Woman that was improvised, and
(43:46):
it's a pretty famous scene. It's the one where he's
playing the piano in the bar, and he asks the
staff to leave. He said, this was never in the script.
We didn't know how he would use it later it
ended up being so important to the film. He said,
we just basically buys the scene. I just started playing
something moody that was about this character's interior life. And
he said, the whole time that they were making Pretty Women,
they didn't even know if they would ever see certain
(44:09):
scenes or certain even the movie, because they had no
idea what was going to happen. But I love that
they just, you know, improvised that scene and it's one
of the most important scenes in the film.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
It's the best.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
I'm Jill with her entertainment headlines.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
John, have you ever seen Pretty Woman?
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (44:22):
Yes, yes, what is it?
Speaker 6 (44:24):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (44:24):
I had to think about it to make sure, make
sure I had the right.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Movie, So you're going with a hardcore no? At first
changed to it, yes, Yes, that was a m Yes, Yes,
what was it about?
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Pretty Woman?
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (44:36):
What's the rich guy who pays a lady of the
night to be his woman for a while?
Speaker 1 (44:41):
He has seen falls in love with there. He saw
this guy's like, he's common sense media right there. He
knows his stuff. I love it.
Speaker 2 (44:48):

Speaker 1 (45:14):
She's like she's having on like talking about stuff before
the mic opens. Is it's not for like the radio.
But it's not like bad stuff, no, just you know,
general workplace stuff.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
We're working on, and it's just stuff that like I
don't need to be talking about right then and there.
It could wait.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
It's just funny for ten yea.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
For some reason, I bring it up seven four.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
She just likes to bring when she sees me put
my headphones on and leaning towards the microphone as I
started to go wah, and then she.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
Goes that one though I had my headphones on and
was still singing.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
One of four to three, My fam is balance O
the morning. We're doing what's a noise? Coming up seven
to twenty five today.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
John, Yeah, we're gonna play you the very first noise
that we're doing this round, and you're gonna take a
guess at what it is. If you're right, we'll send
you home with some one money, and if you're wrong,
we're just gonna add to that jackpot.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Yeah, what's it? Starting at a grand one thousand dollars,
one thousand bucks, going up in one hundred dollars increments. Right?
Are we two thousand alls Thursdays? Do we know?
Speaker 6 (46:05):
Are we we are?
Speaker 4 (46:08):
Has that been confirmed?
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Confused at this now?
Speaker 1 (46:13):
I mean, how could we not? How could we not?
I don't know. That's where the jackpoto was crazy, one
thousand dollars Thursdays, So every wrong guess it goes up
by a thousand dollars me.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
And I was like, wait, am I wrong?
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Well? I mean, is there a reason everybody doubted you? John?
I don't know, you know, past experience. Okay, read the emails.
He's right, we should have read the emails, guys, you know,
instead of talking about other stuff before the break started. Me,
who blamed you? I didn't say your name? This is Valence.
In the morning, we got a lot of money for you.
(46:46):

My family? It is Valentine in the morning. It is Tuesday,
September third. Here we are after labor day. Put those
(47:07):
white pants away?

Linen and linen? You're wearing linen? September third? What are
you a monster? Put those linen white pants away?
Speaker 4 (47:25):
Why did that start?
Speaker 1 (47:26):

I'm in a white shirt John's and a white shirt.
Speaker 1 (47:32):

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Let's right on that. Yeah, a little baby blue action gun.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
It does it does have some color to it? Yeah
yeah yeah, but notoriously. After labor day you're supposed to
put the white linen pants away and stuff like that
and you move into a more fall collection. But I
have a news flash, guys, it's going to be one
hundred and nine thousand degrees this week, So you keep
your white linen pants. Fact, you can take the pants off,
because we'll probably all feel better without clothes this week
because of the heat. Keep them in mind sending kids
(47:58):
at school and stuff like that. Dress them appropriately. I mean,
we all know those parents. But it's gonna be very
very hot this week. All right. Coming up later on
this hour, it's return of What's that Noise?
Speaker 4 (48:06):

you need to know. This powerful heat wave come to
southern California. Some cities are getting really, really hot. We'll

things you need to know, all right, seven twenty one,
It's Valentine in the morning. Good morning too if you're
starting your day today, getting ready for school, getting ready
(52:46):
for work. Thank you for taking time to listen to
our show. So this powerful heat wave, if you heard
about this, maybe check the forecast on your phone and
you saw that it's a big one coming to SoCal
A tempts the nineties and higher in many areas. An
excessive heat watch in effect through Friday. Some inland cities
could get up to one point fifteen. Meanwhile, in Riverside County,
a brushfire broke out in the San Jacinto area on Sunday,
(53:09):
which quickly grew to six hundred and fifty acres in
forest evacuations as well, So please be careful the heat
that is coming this week. Some people who use DIRECTVS
suddenly lost access to ESPN and ABC over the weekend.
This happened because negotiation between DirecTV and Disney, which owns
those stations, broke down. This happened right before the start
of the USC game against LSU, which was airing on ESPN.
(53:32):
People freaked out. My family freaked out, and they're like,
we get YouTube quick and people are on like the
next door in abrapp and all this stuff. You can
get it for twenty one days for free. Quick get it.
Just make it out in your calendar. Then get rid
of it or something out of it. They're going crazy.
So people lost access to that, lost access to ESPN
two in the middle of the US Open Tennis Championship.
Not sure where the update is, but we'll keep be
(53:54):
informed of that one, John, what's trending well?
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Adele has been trending over this long weekend here, which
won't be happening very much in the future. She's been
kind of talking about this, but she confirmed it again
at this very last show of her Germany residency. She's
got ten shows in Vegas coming up this fall. She's
got a residency there, but she said after that quote,
I will not see you for an incredibly long time.
She said, I'll hold you dear in my heart for
that whole length of my break, but I just need
(54:16):
a rest. Adele's about to go on a very long break, yeah,
after this residency in Las Vegas this year. So get
some Adele while you can I'm John Kumuchi. That's what's
training in.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Music, Adele. Why not try something different? Come in hang
out on the radio show once a week, do that? Yes,
come in hang with us. You like the show. She's
a fan of the show. She listens when she takes
her son at school in the morning. We know that.
Why not hang out?
Speaker 5 (54:40):
Right?
Speaker 1 (54:41):
We could have the Adele corner. Yeah, yeah, do whatever
you want with the show. Yeah, it's your show. Take
it over. Change the name Adele in the morning.
Speaker 4 (54:51):
I'd love it.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Oh really yeah, why would you love that?
Speaker 4 (54:54):
I know? But past five minutes, the past.

Speaker 2 (56:28):

that I just don't go when I want. I let
(57:16):
all the cars go until I have a nice and
courteous time to go over andous like some people will
just I'll turn their blinker on there and then as
soon as they have the smallest opening, they go in.
Speaker 2 (57:29):
That's what you do.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
I was waiting, and I had my signal, and I

What's that? You don't feel like?
Speaker 5 (01:01:55):
What?
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
What were you saying? One of four to three my
favorites found in the morning.
Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
You were saying someone in the mic don't care for
my money up, like I wish it was better?
Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
Yeah, well, Alabama Zach on the text line says, great
money up, Jill.
Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
He always pumps me up with my money ups, and
I appreciate it so much.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
I appreciate it, of course.
Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
Yeah. I think it's good. I think you just have
to believe in it.
Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
Kevin originated the money up years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
He's not with our show anymore. He he died. We
don't say his name anymore, but he's doing well in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
I'm copying him, and it just doesn't I need to
find my own. I don't know, I don't know, like
maybe more of like a singing money up. Okay, okay,
more like a deeper money up. I don't know what
about a wrap It's just two words, well wrap it
like add more?
Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
Okay, give me some time. Yeah, I know, but our
next money up?
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
Okay, okay, okay, all right, not too long, no, No,
something that works, okay, a high coup. Hi, do you
know what a high coup is?
Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
Yes? What is it?
Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
It's like a five line No, No, I gotta come
up with it. Oh, I gotta, I gotta write it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
All right, all right, Well we'll look forward to it. Okay,
we'll look forward to that. And if you have no
idea what in God's saying we're talking about, we do
contesscoll what's that noise? And if somebody loses and doesn't
win that current jackpot, we add money to the jackpot.
And we've been a show that entoriously through the years
would yell money and we'd add money into the jackpot.
(01:03:30):
And Jill's been manning that money up for a little
bit now, and you know she's not happy with the
way it sounds.
Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
Yeah, but don't worry. I'm working on it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
Okay. E twenty five will tuo in because we'll have
another noise for you to listen to the same noise obviously,
and you can try and win eleven hundred bucks. Now,
if somebody wants to hear that noise right now, Brian,
what do they do?
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):

Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
Crumble Cookies are teasing a collaboration with a singer and
this is gonna be good. I'll tell you who it
is right off to traffic. Crumble Cookies is teasing a
collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter. So her new album and her
tour is called Short and Sweet. Well Crumble over the
weekend tweeted out and xed out. I don't know what
(01:04:29):
you call it now. They teased this crossover collaboration and
then they wrote me when my friend says they want
a mini and sweet treat. But the thing is, they
kind of recreated Sabrina's latest album cover, especially with like
the red lips on there, so fans are thinking, we're
gonna get a Sabrina Carpenter crumble cookie.
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Olivia small and Sweet, right.
Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
Yeah, Olivia Rodrigo did this with her tour, so they're
doing these collaborations and I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Sabrina Carpenter is just red red hot right now. And
I'll tell you honestly, I picked her from the get go.
First time I met her, I said, this lady's gonna
be a star. I knew it from the moment I
met her. The opposite of what you said last week.
But I'm on the van wagon, try to get the
street cred. She's so she's red hot.
Speaker 4 (01:05:17):
My niece Delilah loves her. She's turning five in October
and she wants to have a Sabriitta Carpenter party. So
we're putting that together.
Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
So if we have her in the studio, we have
to have your niece in there.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
Oh, DIDs would die, Delilah would die.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
DIDs will die used that hashtag DIDs will die. What
a weird hashtime I did. That's her nickname is Dick.
Speaker 4 (01:05:40):
Moving on Selena Gomez. She was in Tell You Ride
for the Tell You Ride film festival and the local
high school Tell You Ride High School. The volleyball team
posted this sign around town and said Selena Gomez, please
sing the national anthem at one of our home games. Well,
Selena saw and she actually went to the game. We
(01:06:02):
don't know if she's saying saying or not, but she
did post this video meeting the volleyball team and she wrote,
couldn't help it. It's my first time and tell you Ride,
they asked, and I love that she went there. I'm
Jill with Ery tim headlines.
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
All right, it is seven fifty one, it's Valence out
in the morning. This is one of four to three
my fam. The Battle of Sex is coming up. Call
eight six six five, four to four MYFM if you
want to play eight six six five four four six
nine through six and what's it noise again at eight
twenty five this morning.
Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
So there's a new term being used, and I want
to see if parents can relate to this. So, if
you have kids, we're talking to you with this term,
do your parents say things like, oh, I potty trained
you before you were one, or oh, you never had
tantrums when you were a kid, like just kind of
comparing you to your kids. There's a word for these
(01:06:50):
comments now, and they're calling it gramnesia. It's an experience
that a lot of new parents are going through when
their own parents compare their parenting styles and what happened
with you as a kid. But they seem to forget
that you did have tantrums and you did act like this,
but to them, they don't recall it. So it's this
(01:07:11):
graham neesia. They're kind of comparing themselves to you, but
also critiquing you in a way.
Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
These are grandparents that are looking at their kid right
and their parenting skills, and maybe the kid's not potty
trained yet, the grandchild, and they go, well, I had
you potty trained at one exactly. No, I had you
taken care of Why can't you get this kid.
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
In the right spot exactly? When maybe that wasn't the
case right, but they just.
Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Forgot, Well, you never cried to yourself to sleep at night?
Why is your kid doing that? Figuring out?
Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
But did you, guys ever experience grahamnesia? No with your parents?
Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
No, well, I mean bluntly no with my parents in
my situation and stuff. And I had Colin later in life,
so he's sixteen now. I don't think my mom or
dad when dad was alive, ever said anything like that
to me. What about your brother? I do struggle with
my parents.
Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
It's not you know, following any kind of rules with
my grandkids like that are their grand kids though?
Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
But yeah, yeah, they just you know, they consciously well
that's what grandparents are supposed to do, right, just not
pay attention to rules. Just give the kid canyon, then
get back to you.
Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
My mom said I was such an annoying kid that
it's like payback that she now gets to do whatever
she wants.
Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
Oh, you were a terrible child, Yes, that's accurate.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
Yes, even as a little guy though.
Speaker 1 (01:08:25):
No, I was okay, little kid, but like the teen
years and all that stuff. Terrible child, terrible, really really bad. Yeah,
there's a there's a book about him. Yeah, the American
Psychological stuff has a whole book about him. All right,
seven fifty three. So do you have any grandparents out there,
your mom and dad that are reminding you well, you know,
(01:08:46):
I mean little Johnny over here, not potty trains. I
had you potty trained in two days. You came out
of my womb. About that? Do they do that to
you your parents when they're talking about your kids eight
sixty six by four four if amor texting three one
oh four three some happiness for you in a couple
seconds the happy News in the studio today, Laura just
had a great laugh at something I was telling her
lawyers or social media director responsible for all those dances
(01:09:08):
you see at Valentine in the Morning follow us here
at Valentine in the Morning Instagram. So this rehab facility,
I moved my mom from in Connecticut and now she's
out here with me in California, thank god. But at
the rehab facility over the weekend before we moved her,
which is a memory care unit stuff people with Alzheimer's
and lockdown and everything, I was there visiting and a
nurse was leaving that area to go outside and pick
(01:09:30):
up her pizza that was delivered outside of the secure doors.
And she opens it up and I'm walking out behind her.
She goes, hold on, hold on, you're not a resident here,
are you. I go, no, no, no, no, I'm fine,
I'm you know, all my body parts, work and everything.
I'm walking out the door and I got the car keys.
I was just visiting my mom. She says, okay, all right,
and I started to step towards hers she because I
just want to check. I want to ask you again,
(01:09:51):
are you a resident here?
Speaker 5 (01:09:53):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
No, no, not at all. So something about me screams
I need to be there this year. That's twice. But
then I did get outside of the door layer and
as I walked to my car, waved back here say yeah,

Things you need to Know even more homes in southern
California have lost power this morning due to a dangerous landslide.
They are moving these homes about a foot per week.

(01:16:00):
evacuation warnings min issue for people living in Rancho, Palispariti.
It's due to a dangerous landslide. So Cal Edison has
now cut off power to two hundred and forty five
homes because the ground's been moving by about a foot
per week. The grounds moved so much to the power
line fell over and sparked a small fire. It's a
really bad scene out there. I'm hoping they Uh, I
don't know what they can do. You can't fix that,
who knows. For the first time of seven years, Costco's

my socials lately is summer ween, especially after Labor Day here,
Halloween starts early and earlier, and all the stores, well,
people are throwing summer ween themed parties. Halloween decorations at
a summer party, especially since there is so much Halloween
decer right now. So people are having jack O Lannard
and cheeseburgers on the grill, pumpkin cutout shaped pizzas, you
(01:17:15):
have pumpkin beach balls. It kind of feels like summer
is over, but it's still hot, so people are combining
these and throwing summer ween parties. I love it. I'm
John Kamuci. That's what's training on socials, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
After traffic we all drive Toyotis on Valentine in the morning.
I just got back from Connecticut. I moved my mom.
She's eighty five, she has Alzheimer's and she's everything to me,
and she's handicapped and mobility issues and stuff. Moved around
here to be closer to myself and my wife and
my son and my sisters are okay with that. We
found a beautiful place six minutes from home, right so
(01:27:18):
the airport. The other night, I was like, all right,
how did I get my mom home? I had parked
my Prius in the garage there, and I was like, well,
I got my sister, I got my mom, and we
moved everything a mom so a lot of stuff like
how am I gonna do this? And I was calling
like an Uber handicap accessible vehicle and they never showed up.
Uberflake to me let me in my eighty five year
old mom. My sister's sitting there for like forty five
minutes on the sidewalk at LAX. We tried multiple phones
(01:27:39):
to get Uber you know, accessibles to come, and they
never showed up. So I was like, all right, I'm
just gonna have to jam me all my prius. And
it's not that the prius doesn't have room, but you're
not expecting to fit a wheelchair. You know, five different
pieces of luggage and three different people. It was tight,
but we did it and we just drove home my
Prius Compede. My mom liked the car and it saved
(01:28:02):
the day. If you want to find out which Toyota
is right for you, I'm the priest Prime Jillson a
rap Word, Johnson Highlander. Either one of them could have
driven to the airport and pick me up with more
room in their vehicle.
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
Awkward.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
I think you drive a Highlander.
Speaker 2 (01:28:15):

for you at Toyota dot com.
Speaker 4 (01:28:23):
Anya Taylor Joy, she has starred in The Queen's Gambit
and more recently furiosa Mad Max Saga. She said if
they ever do a live action Frozen, she wants to
play Elsa. She says shooting ice cubes out of your
hands can be a lot of fun and you'll be
the favorite at every kid's birthday party. She said, all
my siblings have kids now, so I would love for
(01:28:43):
them to be able to say my aunt is Elsa,
and that'd be great. And A star of Lord of
the Rings has revealed he's been approached to come back
as his character in new films, Gandolf sir Ian McKellen.
He says enthusiasm for the Lord of the Rings shows
no sign of slowing down. He said, I can't tell
(01:29:05):
you any more than that. I've just been told they
are going to be more films, that there are going
to be more films and Gandalf will be involved. Then,
he said, and they hope that I'll be playing him.
So he's eighty five, and he's like, when I don't know,
He goes, what the script is? It's not written yet.
He did say, so they better be quick. But that'd
be so cool if he came back to Scandalf. I'm Jill.

the wedding that we've actually had time where both of
us were off. I'll see him and I are so different,
but we both had Sunday and Monday off, and so
we were able to do all kinds of stuff, Like

and then we just cleaned and we put up Halloween

a hanted mansion themed Oh, of course, like.

A Disney or something like that. Yeah, she loves her Disney.
Speaker 4 (01:31:07):
It was just fun to just have some time. Like
we see each other. But most of the time it's
sleeping because I go to bed so early and then
he's getting home from work.
Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
You watch sleep.
Speaker 4 (01:31:15):
I've never watched him sleep. No, okay, no, Usually I'm
asleep before he goes to sleep.
Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
Do you think he watches you sleep?
Speaker 6 (01:31:22):
I don't know if he.
Speaker 4 (01:31:23):
Does or not. I wouldn't be creeped out if he did, right, Yeah,
I'm not the prettiest sleeper though, mouth open, drool. It's
not pretty.
Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
The time limit we're watching someone you like sleep goes
from romantic to creep.
Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
How many seconds? How many seventy seconds? Oh god, I
thought it was minutes. I'm sorry it's seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:31:43):

What do you do with your video?
Speaker 4 (01:31:54):
What is just for yourself?
Speaker 1 (01:31:55):

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):

you have to tell I don't know to tell.
Speaker 1 (01:32:48):
Her, nothing's going to happen, nothing weird to say you
can to watch a person.
Speaker 4 (01:32:51):

the radio, that good things could happen to you as well.
So I guess some really good news. First off, Lisa
Fox coming in next, more chances for you with what
said Noise and the Iheartradimusic Festival as well. Get free tickets.

from dot com slash Noise to see previous guesses, learn
how to contest works right now, onto the big news.
(01:35:27):
It's become apparent to me and I've confirmed this this week.
John Peaks on vacation. Boss is on vacation. He's in
the woods with his motorcycle, just driving through the tree line. Yes,
he likes to go out to nature. We don't know
what he does out in nature. But he goes out
in the nature, drives these back roads of different national
(01:35:48):
parks and stuff on his motorcycle, comes back refreshed all anew.
Now that day, we'll stink. That day will be the
worst day of our lives because he comes back with
a million different ideas and wants to have fifteen different
meetings all in one day. He's coming back from vacation.
The rest of u has been working. He walks in, Guys,
we're gonna have a meeting on the half hour, every
half hour, having a meeting, and here's the schedule, mama.
(01:36:08):
But this week our bosses out of town. Yeah, so
this radio show is gonna be lit. It's gonna be
crazy all week long.
Speaker 4 (01:36:14):
He doesn't even have access to a phone. Really, like
where he's at. The service is spotty.
Speaker 1 (01:36:20):
He is like he's looking for Anna Kendrick. He's into
the woods. Wow, he has gone deep into the woods. Yep,
it's great, it's great news. Right should we say something
like obscene? You know, we're still the FCC stuff. They
haven't taken the vacation of the woods. But John Peak
got bosses in the woods.
Speaker 2 (01:36:38):
What would he not want us to say?
Speaker 3 (01:36:40):
This?
Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
All of this, all of this is perfect.
Speaker 5 (01:36:42):
Give us a recipe that oh think hates when Valentine
gives recipes of what he made the night before.
Speaker 1 (01:36:48):
There is a recipe I got from Goop years ago.
It's a one pan salmon dish with capers and salmon
and Russi potatoes and it's just beautiful. I will give
that recipe on the air tomorrow. I want to give
you a chance to tell your friends to tune it.
Speaker 4 (01:37:05):
Ok, you do one recipe a day for the rest of.
Speaker 1 (01:37:08):
The recipe a day for the rest of the week.
Speaker 4 (01:37:10):
Who are you not, John Peak? Right?
Speaker 1 (01:37:13):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (01:37:17):
Selina Gaga was at the Venice Film Festival over the
weekend and she was showing a massive diamond ring on
her left hand, on that ring finger. And back when
the Olympics were going on, there was a video of
her talking to the French Prime Minister and she was
talking about the fact that this is her fiance. But
she's never come out and confirmed that they were actually engaged.
(01:37:39):
But at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend, she
was not hiding it. They are engaged. So con got
to them and a One Tree Hill sequel series is
in the works at Netflix, and it's going to be
with Sophia Bush and Hillary Britton Morgan. They'll be returning
as Brooke and Peyton. They're also going to produce the
show as well. And One Tree Hill aired for nine
seasons back in the early time thousands all the way
(01:38:01):
to twenty twelve. So One Tree Hill coming back to Netflix.
I'm joke with her intim headlines.
Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
Got a text coming in here? What's that noise? Love it?
I'm excited about the contest, wool. The previous guesses be
listed somewhere, yes, one of four to three miles from
dot comp slash noises where they're supposed to be. They're
currently not listed. So Brian is yelling at somebody in
the background. That's what you're hearing right now.
Speaker 2 (01:38:19):
Oh yeah, this is uh.
Speaker 1 (01:38:22):
I'm not good enough improv. Whose job is at to
post them? I don't know, but I will say they've
never got it right in all the years. We never
gets it right. We're gonna have them guess is up there. Yeah,
but this is a professional work environment, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:38:43):
There's something comforting in the familiarity of I'm always getting this.
Speaker 1 (01:38:46):
Wrong, of getting it wrong all the time. Listen. When
we get off the air, we'll walk down there and
make sure they start post posting the noises. There's also
a friend of ours, uh, he'll post him on x
he always does Instagram. Just do a hashtag search for
what's a noise and find his list, which would better
than ours, honestly, but we'll post the previous guesses. What
a four to three? Mind from the comm slash noise?
(01:39:06):
If John Peak was here, I'm sure be getting done. Yeah, mister,
I'm taking vacation. What's this deal? You know what I mean?
Thirteen hundred bucks eleven twenty five at Lisa Fox Jill,
thank you for your show.
Speaker 4 (01:39:15):
Thank you for your show.
Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
John, thank you for your show.
Speaker 2 (01:39:16):
Thank you for your show.
Speaker 1 (01:39:17):

but it's gonna be very hot today as well, and

Valentine that morning. The tale, What's going on. We're gonna
(01:39:37):
end it with some good news though. If you are
in Tarziana, think finally cleared all the links
