the parking garage. I think she texted she was running
a few minutes late.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
You.
Speaker 5 (00:22):
I'm fine, I have nothing interesting to say, so you
can talk to me until Jill gets here.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay, big, she's coming in here, she comes jail. Everybody
putting the car keys down, having a seat. Good morning,
How are you hi?
Speaker 3 (00:39):

career highlight right here, Okay, career highlight. I got a
super sweet opportunity. Good for you. Ready for this?
Speaker 6 (00:49):
Yeah, I'm hosting trivia night at my local Chili's.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Oh this is you, Sean. What did they know your
love for Chili's? How did this go down?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
You know?
Speaker 7 (01:02):
So?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
One of the servers there, Yeah, she's a homie. Her
name is Lisa. She's great.
Speaker 6 (01:07):
She started this trivia night and I guess it's a
fundraiser for you. Actually, don't oh Saint Jude.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah, she.
Speaker 6 (01:15):
A hosting Chili's and I didn't even let her finish
the sentence. I said, yeah, no, I'm meant like Jude's.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I don't know. Do you know what Sat Jud's does?
Speaker 6 (01:23):
Yeah, they're a hospital, children's hospital. Yeah, so that's what
the fundraisers for. But it's next month and they needed
a host for trivia night and they know that I'm
in there all the time, and they're like, who better
than you?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Should we go?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Please come? Where's it that though? It's like far, that's far.
It's like an hour from here. When is it in
this month? September third? It's a Monday.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
It's all September third, Okay, that's like just a week
or two away.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah. Oh it's a Tuesday. Actually it's a school night though,
September thirds.
Speaker 6 (01:54):
Yeah, yeah, it's Tuesday after later.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah. Right, Oh darn it. I think I have something.
Speaker 8 (02:00):
Yeah I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Oh good, you're all set then, yeah, I think it's
on the way to your boyfriend's house, Jill.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
He's my husband now, almost if you got a side
piece as your business.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Seems kind of early in the marriage to get that this.
Speaker 8 (02:15):
Would be fun for us to go to.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, it would be so cool. Okay, I'm so excited.
You get like a drink tab or anything. They haven't
really sat, they've been asked about that. Nope, I don't
know if they're even I don't even know if I'm
getting free chips and salsa. I just wanted to do it.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
There should be some kind of like free tab for you,
like a drink tab or chip salsa.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Free dinner.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Sure you, sure they will, but like President Day Marguerite's
for all your friends.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, wouldn't that be nice? Yeah? The Blue Shaker.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
The problem is though it is a Tuesday, so everyone
like you can't go too hard.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
But here's the better part. K six pm.
Speaker 8 (02:46):
Oh oh that's nice.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Isn't that nice? How long is it run? Probably an hour?
Oh that's up bad?
Speaker 9 (02:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (02:52):
Seven done by seven. You can be in bed still
by nine gosha.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Best case scenario, Oh congrats, this is big.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Do you have it? Like?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Did you cracked the opening? Are you gonna do like
a it is today?
Speaker 7 (03:04):
No?
Speaker 1 (03:04):
I don't know any details. Yeah, well, good for you, man,
that's fine.
Speaker 6 (03:07):
It's gonna take all the questions from are you smarter
than Valentine in the morning and bring it over to chill.
Speaker 8 (03:12):
You were in charge of the questions. I was like, Wow,
it's a lot of work.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
All I gotta do is show up. Okay, good for you, congrats,
Thanks guys.
Speaker 8 (03:18):
Judy nights are so fun.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
I don't think I've ever gone to a tribun night. Oh,
they're so fun. You would be great at it. Actually, no,
you probably wouldn't. I think you would. Yesterday you got
beat by a sixteen year old.
Speaker 8 (03:30):
Oh that's right.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I wonder where it's gonna land on the Let's see
where the wheel lands today. Are you smarter than Valentine
in the morning? I can't wait, my family, it's Valentine
in the morning. It is Friday. Congrats you made it
to the weekend. Cooler this weekend.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Nice. Glad to see that.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
It's always hot in Santa Clarita, so it's gonna be
nice for you guys to cool down up there.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Obviously.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
Yeah, we're either in Santa Clarita or in Riverside, the
two hottest places.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
That's where her husband lives. That's where her new home
will be in.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
Everybody always like freaks out when they hear riverside about
my commute.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, I'm not telling you to do it.
Speaker 8 (04:11):
You guys do that all on your own.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Seventy eight for a high at my house tomorrow. Wow,
that's nice.
Speaker 8 (04:16):
That is nice. Cool trend.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
This is a long drive overside, and I'm.
Speaker 8 (04:21):
Used to drive.
Speaker 7 (04:23):
I'm used to long commutes being in Santa Clarita. I
mean it's still cool.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Thirty five to forty minutes. That's not that bad, right,
The riverside.
Speaker 8 (04:30):
Is over now on the way here, it's fifty to
ignore them and they'll eventually suck.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
We need to be told, Okay, it's fifty eight minutes
in the morning.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Fifty eight minutes. Oh my god, you've got it down
door to door.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
I got it, fifty eight minutes. It's just an added
eighteen without travel.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
That's what stinks, though, is when we do have a
lunch or a meeting that goes into the afternoon, then it's.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
Then it's awful.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
How long is you ride home in traffic?
Speaker 8 (05:00):
One eighteen eighteen?
Speaker 1 (05:02):
It's better than expected.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
Yeah, yeah, it's not about usually it's one eighteen really bad.
Days an hour and a half hour forty five.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (05:10):
But I don't mind being in the car. I'm used
to it, Like I just I don't mind it.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
So what about getting one of those air taxis you're
talking about?
Speaker 8 (05:19):
Yeah, that scares me.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Why sounds expensive?
Speaker 7 (05:22):
That's really terrifying. I've thought about, like hiring a driver. Yeah,
so I was thinking, like, can I put that in
my contract?
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Like, look, well.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
We've reached that level now we're talking missus Ryan Seacrest
over here. I'm going to get a car service to
drive me door to door.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
Like I thought, maybe what if they I can't even
talk about this.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I don't know you're going for it, let's hear it.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
Because typically in the past I don't ask for much.
They present me with something and I'm like, yeah, sounds great.
Speaker 8 (05:55):
I signed that's that.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
But then I thought they're used to that, So what
if they present me with something and I'm like, this
is great?
Speaker 8 (06:01):
Can I ask though? Can we throw in a driver?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
And then they'll be like, she's so easy to work with,
let's give her a driver.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Okay, hold on, what's the driver driving your car or
their own car or a town car?
Speaker 8 (06:16):
If they can drive my car, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Guy has to just drive up to your house, then
drive your car and then wait for you, and then
drive you back and then leaves your house.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
So he's waiting for you overnight.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
No, No, he's waiting for me on at work.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
He just sits in the parking garage at in P
two while shy work. So then this guy he has
to get up wicked early in the morning too, right,
And so he's going to meet you in the house
like four o'clock or.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Three forty five or whatever. Yeah, usually leave it three yeah,
and he'll meet you at three forty five.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
They'll chase away the raccoons or what scots and then
you get this huge car and he drives you to
work and waits downstairs for you and then.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Drives you home.
Speaker 8 (06:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Wow, what do you think that's gonna coll?
Speaker 7 (06:57):
I mean, an uber would be like what forty five
to fifty bucks from everside?
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, easy, So.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
Two hundred dollars two hundred bucks yeah a day, two.
Speaker 8 (07:09):
Hundred bucks a day. Okay, Monday through Friday.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
So two hundred bucks a day, two hundred times five,
about twenty times a Yeah, this is.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
About what I thought it would cost. It's probably gonna
because you take off vacation stuff like that. You're probably
looking at it like a forty five thousand dollars job,
and Jill, I think you're worth that.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Thank you give.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
It a shot, right, They'll let me ask you a question. Okay,
they're not going to give you a raise. If they
give you that.
Speaker 8 (07:34):
Well think okay, how much are they going to love that?
Speaker 4 (07:37):
No raise?
Speaker 8 (07:38):
But I'll take a driver.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
I didn't think they were gonna give you a forty
five thousand dollars anyway.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
I like this negotiation tactic though.
Speaker 8 (07:46):
I think it's good.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I know raise. I'll just take a driver.
Speaker 8 (07:49):
Listen, listen, John Peak, Wow about a driver? Maybe John
will want to drive me?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Do you want to listen?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
John Pete gets up early in the morning because he's
been working out stuff like that. Do you want to
take a break and call him right after this and
ask if we can get you a driver?
Speaker 8 (08:04):
Okay, all right, come up next.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Hello, Hi John Peek, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
We're doing on the air contract negotiations right now with Jill.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
She has something she'd like to ask for in her
next contract.
Speaker 9 (08:19):
This makes me very nervous, anxious and unsettled, but go ahead.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
Hi, John, I was wondering how you would feel about
me getting a driver a driver, Yeah, to and from
work every day Monday through Friday.
Speaker 9 (08:33):
Oh well, that would be a hard No.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
I didn't even consider it, John, But listen, she is
willing to She said this on the air.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
You might have missed it before. She said she's willing to.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Forego any raises, any other financial gains. She'd be willing
to just say, Hey, thanks for paying me what you're
paying me. I don't want anything else but someone to
pick me up and drive me from riverside to work
and then wait and then drive me back.
Speaker 9 (09:02):
And just five days a week, just five, This should
be super affordable. It's nothing, right Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
But her her theory is that wouldn't you want her
to be more productive instead of wasting your time looking
at the road. Yeah, she'd have the ability to be
in the backseat of this car and she'd be typing
and emailing your Yeah, the show.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Setting up guests.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Who knows what, John, all this productive stuff from the backseat.
Speaker 9 (09:28):
You know what if just go with this for a moment,
that all the way in you swing by grab her
in the riverside, But you're in here. We're good that way,
she's got a driver, you're spending team time together.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I am absolutely happy to do that.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Say one thing, I live on the other side of
the four or five, so i'd have to go pass
words get her. Now, who's closer to her? Brian Burton
and John Camucci are closer to her than I am.
Speaker 9 (09:55):
Brian Burton is closer to her. You're on to something.
Speaker 7 (09:58):
He's like the halfway mark you would pay this driver,
I'll do it for half.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
We figured out this is probably like if you just
went basic based off like uber rates and stuff like that,
you're looking at like forty five grand a year.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Okay, probably.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
Yeah, Look how much I'm saving you.
Speaker 9 (10:13):
John, Oh, you are saying, Brian Burton, are we negotiating
a deal with us for yeah, to go get her?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Okay, give me an additional you know, twenty five thousand
a year and a vest and a hat and a car.
Speaker 9 (10:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Right.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
And now I did want to point out to Jill,
I'm not sure this is a part of your negotiating attack.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
You're not.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
But she wants to be more productive, you know, on
the way to work and stuff, and apparently she's not
having that productivity as she drives a free Toyota.
Speaker 9 (10:48):
Hey, Jill, my guy will call you a guy perfect?
Speaker 8 (10:50):
Thanks John?
Speaker 9 (10:51):
Guy?
Speaker 1 (10:52):
What does John have a guy? You have a guy? Guy?
Speaker 8 (10:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (10:57):
Bye bye.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
I think he's gonna give it to you.
Speaker 8 (11:01):
He didn't say no.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
He did say no. And the very first thing you
said was that's a hard pass or something like that.
Speaker 8 (11:08):
I'm thinking about it the other night.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah. No.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
If it was gonna make him come pick you up
and you went for half, dude, I would not.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I would have gone for the full forty. He wouldn't
give me that. No, I know he wouldn't, but I
wouldn't picky year. I'm not good at negotiating either, Jill.
Speaker 8 (11:24):
I love that you want to hat though. I love this.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
It's Valentine the Morning. We're getting people texting in and Jill.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
They will drive you to work for thirty thousand dollars
a year, So now we're down the thirty grand a year.
They'll wait for you in Riverside, drive it to work,
wait and then bring you back home.
Speaker 8 (11:40):
Get John back on the phone. Let's tell him.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I don't know you're a deal.
Speaker 8 (11:45):
I do run into a lot of Valentine the Morning
listeners in Riverside.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Okay, yes, and do a lot of them like to
drive to Burbank in the morning.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Probably not, probably not.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
No, No, there are people in the business that do
have drivers like that, you know. I mean, Seacrest hasn't
driven a car since he was eighteen.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
So there are people that reach a certain level that
do have drivers. And a lot of times it's not
so much just like I'm gonna lead us to a driver.
A lot of them really are, like you were saying,
in the backseat of the car, conducting business, on the phones,
doing stuff, and that's like office time for them.
Speaker 8 (12:18):
I mean totally honestly, like a.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Lawyer, Lincoln Lawyer was always in the backseat of the
car doing stuff.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
Yeah, I'll be napping.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Actually not Matthew McConaughey. That's the movie. Yeah, I'm thinking
of this series of Lincoln Lawyer.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Oh okay, okay, okay, clear that up.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
That was different different actors, I know, But I wanted
to point out it wasn't the Matthew mcconaughe I.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Was talking about.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
Did you in my confession though, give us your confession.
I just wanted to sleep more. That was really sleep
with the driver.
Speaker 8 (12:46):
No, I want to sleep in the car while he
drives me to work.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Got it? You don't want to tell peak that.
Speaker 8 (12:50):
No, That's why I was saying, like, I'll be work because.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
We know that currently you're averaging about thirteen hours to
sleep a day.
Speaker 8 (12:57):
I just I need more.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
I know that's tough. I'm sorry. Well, if you win
the lottery, there will be signs.
Speaker 8 (13:03):
Yeah, I will get a driver.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
You will get a.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Driver, absolutely, Okay, John, Would you take a driver to work?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Or do you like driving? I like driving too much?
You like it? I get carsick with other people. Carsick
is a tough thing. My wife gets carsick. Yeah, I'd
get productive if I wanted to in the car.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
And when you're a person who doesn't get carsick like
I don't, nine percent of time it out and you're
driving other people that do get carsick, and they're like,
and you are driving like you're driving on eggshells. Nobody
in the world better driver than you in that moment.
And it's still going, Oh, slow down, that curve is
too much. You're making me carsick. I'm like, I'm literally
pushing the car now. It's that slow, you know.
Speaker 7 (13:39):
But at least you're trying to be a better driver
when you know that somebody's getting carsick like some people
just don't care.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, no, I don't want puke all over me. I'm
one of those people.
Speaker 8 (13:48):
I want to get those glasses.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Do they work?
Speaker 8 (13:51):
People say they.
Speaker 6 (13:52):
Doboy what costs though you look like an idiot in
those You know.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
What do the glasses do?
Speaker 7 (13:58):
It's something about the little wall that's underneath the eyes.
It tricks the brain into making you not get carsick
or not get most And.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
You've heard they work.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yes, stop it, Yes, people say they do. Yeah, if
you ever tried it? Three one oh four three let
us know one of four three, my fam it is
Valentine in the morning. We have announced it is out there.
It's big. Adding to the Iheartradimusic Festival the weekend. In
addition to the weekend, one of the studs of all studs,
(14:30):
this guy is just a gent among gents, so charming, coldplays,
Chris Martin.
Speaker 8 (14:40):
And asap Rocky.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
He's coming to yeh three performers added to our festival
in Las Vegas.
Speaker 8 (14:46):
This is huge.
Speaker 6 (14:47):
We are a month away now, September twentieth and twenty
first in Las Vegas, and of course those new stars
are added to the already stacked lineup. Do Aleapas still
on there, Doja Kat, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Hosier.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
I' mean there's just so many artists. Yeah, it's gonna
be a great show. It's really really good show. The
idea that Chris Martin's gonna be there, that just.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Seals the deal for me.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
You know, I was going anyway obviously, but Chris Martin's fantastic, Yeah,
and just a really cool guy.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
He's so good. I love him. I love his voice.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
I can picture him just sitting down at a piano
and just playing or it just popping out like Keith
Urbans out there and doing something with him. You know,
you see these things happening already in your mind for Vegas.
So we do have more tickets for that coming up,
your chance to win trips at a thousand bucks, spending money,
all that on the way. It is Valentine in the morning,
so one of four to three MIFM tickets are on sale.
Like John was saying, though right now AXS dot Com,
(15:38):
Vegas is not that far away for us, So if
you want to go, this is a good show Axs
dot com.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
I'm gonna tell you Perez and that too traffic with
Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
All right, Natalia, how was your night last night?
Speaker 9 (15:49):
It was good.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I did a little bit of cooking. Watch some Bluey
It's nice cooking and Bluey cooking and Bluey gotta love it.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Would you cook?
Speaker 3 (15:59):
I made some grilled chicken.
Speaker 10 (16:00):
I had to like cut back on the spices because
my husband was like, I can't do spice right now,
and I was like, okay.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Always getting bad Tom? Tom?
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Does he bad throat like some like acid, a reflex
or something.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, that's ender a lot of stress always.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, sometimes aid reflex can come on here and there
due to stress and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Yeah, I'm gonna tell him that. He doesn't believe me.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (16:26):
So you have a lot of information, you'll tell me.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
I've just been on this earth longer, that's all. There's
no intelligence that's greater than any of yours. It's just
I've absorbed more.
Speaker 8 (16:34):
You kind of always know what to do, not.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Always, but I appreciate you saying that.
Speaker 8 (16:39):
Yeah, with my life, you know what to do.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
There you go, is there acid in your throat?
Speaker 8 (16:45):
I do have acid reflex.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
I've identified several problems this morning already. Thanks to tell
you whether todays sunny cooler tempts seventies to mid eighties.
Come on right, yeah, Sonny and cooler. Put the pumpkins out.
Let's go sixties low steventy? Is the beach is sixty four?
What are your sixteen year work beach? Jill just got
the innertipment headline's coming up.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
The Drew Barrymore Show has been renewed for another season,
and Drew says she's going to try and practice something
in this next season. I'll tell you what that is.
Coming up at six and fifty.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Let's do first sip. What is first sip to people? Jill?
Speaker 7 (17:18):
First zip is something that everybody looks forward to on Fridays.
It's just a way to start off our weekend, start
off our morning in a positive way.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
For many, many years, I'd say since the beginning of time,
one of the superpowers that we all look towards in
life was speed.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Speed. How fast are you?
Speaker 2 (17:41):
How quick are you got to chase down that animal
because you were a hunting right speed speed runners around
the world throughout the years, we look towards these runners.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Oh my god, the fastest men on the planet. Let
him go.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
But it wasn't just that as a superpower physical speed.
It was the speed of getting things done. We live
in a society now where that email sent boom, it's
in the other guys inbox, just like that text boom
back forth, call somebody, FaceTime, somebody. There is so much
speed in our society. What used to be a superpower
something that everybody has. We all have the ability to
have speed in our daily lives. It's a very very fast,
(18:13):
fast world. The internet boom boom, answers in front of you,
boom boom, chat GPT writing the essay speed is there?
Is speed really a superpower anymore? I don't think it is.
I think now the new superpower might actually be this
slowing down, having the ability to take a pause in life,
(18:33):
have the ability to slow down, to take a breath
and see the world around you, and be present in
the world around you. Because everything is so so fast.
We want the answers fast, we want the questions fast,
we want it all fast. But having the chance to
slow down, to take a breath and see what's there,
(18:56):
what's in front of you, it's behind you, what's in
your heart? Who are your friends, who are your loved ones,
who do you care about to see them, To be
in the moment with your child, with your wife, with
your husband, with your mom, your dad, your friends. The
ability to slow down, take a breath today, find a moment.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I know you gotta answer emails. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
You gotta do that, John Pick drives me grades to
do Oh, take a moment to slow down today and
just be in that moment. That might be the superpower
if you have that ability, because for so many of
us out there, it's.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Like then I gotta this, I got do that. This
popimans the building map. There's a lot of stuff going
on in life.
Speaker 8 (19:38):
Right, very specific, but yes.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yes, take a chance to slow down. Let that be
your superpower.
Speaker 8 (19:46):
Counters up, chill, one, two, three.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
Okay, so coming up, we have new music front end,
then we have battle coming your bed for that.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Then we have the laptops.
Speaker 10 (19:58):
Youve away.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
He's just not ready. You get going, Slow down, take
your breath.
Speaker 7 (20:06):
So a while ago, Dolly Parton was asked if she
had any advice for a successful marriage, and she said,
stay gone as much as you can. Now she wants
to clarify that. I'll tell you what she said. Right
after Traffic, The Drew Barrymore Show was renewed for a
sixth season, and Drew says she's going to try her
absolute best to practice physical distance once she's.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Back on the air.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
If you have watched Drew Barrymore on her show, she
gets so close to her guests. She's holding hands, she's hugging,
and a lot of people on social media have pointed
it out, but she says, that's not my strong point.
Do you know how hard the pandemic was for me?
I was alone in a studio by myself. I like
to be around people, And she says her approach might
not be everyone's favorite.
Speaker 8 (20:50):
She goes, I'm sorry to those people, but she likes
to create an intimate atmosphere race I love.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
She's great.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
How much have I talked about that here in the
studio and you guys have denied that that's true. We
have a big studio and there's a couch and we
have in studio audiences. You come in and you watch
the show and stuff. Reach out to Brian Burton if
you ever want to bring yourself in or your kids
and watch a live radio show happen. We're one of
the rare live radio shows. Honestly, in LA, A lot
of people are on tape. So if you want to
come in the studio watch you can. But I've often
(21:16):
talked about making our studio even smaller. Like when Katie
Perry comes in and have her like two inches from me.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
He wants her legs touching.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
There's a connection, not just physical when you're that close.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
There's a connection between people.
Speaker 8 (21:29):
And this isn't close enough for you.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
He's not four feet doesn't do it.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
Yeah, you would love a closer studio.
Speaker 7 (21:37):
And Dolly Barton has been married to her husband Carl
for fifty eight years, and a while back she was
asked she had any words of advice for a successful
marriage and her quote.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
Was, yeah, stay gone as much as you can. That
of course made news. Now she's clarifying.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
She says, have respect and love for each other and
you need to be good friends too, So she wanted
to clarify there's more to it than just stay in
a way. I'm Jill with their David headlines.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
If anybody knows Drew Barrymore, if you're on her publicity
team or something like that, I'd love to have her
on the show and show these people what a close
interview can do, the charisma, the energy that comes across
the radio when you're that close to somebody and you're
holding hands and you're touching, when you hold a guest's hand.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Don't do that, Katy Perry's at eight twenty five.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
When you hold somebody's hand like that, there is a
connection like nothing else.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
If it's meant with an open heart, obviously, because what if.
Speaker 7 (22:27):
They don't not creepy, what if they don't want to like,
you know, I personally don't.
Speaker 8 (22:32):
Like to be touched. I'm that interviewing year I know,
but like some people might be that way. Then what
are you gonna do?
Speaker 1 (22:38):
You book somebody else, book somebody who just know they
can't come in.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
If you don't want to touch us, you can't come
on the show, Katie Fair, As simple as that. Seven
oh seven. It is one of four to three my them.
This is Valentine in the morning. It is Friday, August
twenty third. Hope you're having a great day. If you
want to reach out and be part of our show

News a bit later on and uh, you know you
can reach out three one o four three let us
know what's making you smile.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
We'll get that on the air.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Then at seven twenty five we'll be playing are you
Smarter than a Valentine?
Speaker 1 (23:12):
In the morning, We're.
Speaker 7 (23:13):

prove that you are smarter than one of us on
Valentine the morning, I going to spin the wheel to side.

we will also donate a laptop in your name to
Heart of Los Angeles, So it's a win win.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Oh god, oh god. Spider, Oh my gosh, I told you.
I don't know. It was on my shirt.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
I just saw you were talking about a spider this
morning on your way oh hours smiles.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Where was he hanging? I don't know.
Speaker 7 (23:41):
Dude Bell called me on his way in this morning
and he was saying, God, is that a spider.
Speaker 8 (23:45):
As he was driving? Are you sure?
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Yes, I'm sure He's not on the floor, so he
might still be on you. Yeah, I don't see him.
He must have ran up your pantlet. You can't get
in these pants.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
There's like, there's tight these are lulu VIORI whatever is
there's no entry point.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Well, I'm tired to tell you.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
You got a soldier on spiders get in somehow we
shut all our doors in the windows and.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
He was just crawling up my shirt. I am not
a fan of spiders. Well, he's on the floor somewhere
and he's coming towards you because he knows I'm a
hostile environment.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
He doesn't want to live on you. Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
When I was a kid in Ireland, I told you
the story before, and I'll take ten seconds to tell
you I used to play with spiders in Ireland growing
up as a child.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
I let them crawl all over me. My parents told
me and I called them fighters, high fighter, high fighter.
Speaker 7 (24:43):
What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Fighter?
Speaker 2 (24:44):
And I would let these things crawl on me. Something
happened and I don't remember. I'm never going to go
to therapy before. I don't want to know what it was.
And a switch clicked and I do not like them now.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (35:45):

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Russia's correct. Oh my gosh, that's hut.

Coming up. Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Overnight A fire destroyed in historic ballpark in southern California.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
This is so sad.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
So many movies have been filmed there. We'll tell you
about this coming up in a little bit. I know
it's a pretty big deal. Yeah, got some sad news
to report here, and it just thinks, I mean, we
will rebuild it.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
I'm sure, but.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
A piece of southern California history is destroyed by a
fire last night at Jay Littleton Ballpark in Ontario. This
is built in the thirties and it's not only a
landmark for people who live nearby. It's also been used
in really classic movies like A League of their Own
The Babe, which told the story of Babe Ruth. Firefighters
say the field, the dugout in the stands have all
(50:40):
been destroyed.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
Sad to see that. The investigating course what.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Happened tomorrow is Kobe Bryant Day, which happens on August
twenty fourth, because during his career at the Lakers, Kobe
wore jersey with the number eight and then later on, of course,
a jersey with the number twenty four. This week, in
the Ferris Wheel at the Cinematic Computer will be covered
in purple and gold lights, and the Dodgers will be
giving out special Kobe Bryant during their game against the Rays.
Plus there's the Mamba League Invitational, which is a two
(51:04):
day basketball tournament featuring high school players in downtown La
John What's trending?
Speaker 7 (51:10):
So?
Speaker 6 (51:10):
Coldplay is trending for multiple reasons today, But when is
this heartwarming story out of a show they just did
in Vienna this week. Do you remember Vienna is the
city that Taylor Swift that ariostour show got canceled due
to the terror plot. So during the Coldplay show, Chris
Martin pauses the show and he sings love story and
dedicates one to all the Taylor Johns who maybe missed
(51:30):
it and didn't get to see her when that show
got canceled in Vienna.
Speaker 1 (51:33):
That guy's awesome in the same stadium. I just he's
the best.
Speaker 6 (51:36):
It's another example of just Chris Martin being the best guy.
I'm so happy he got added to this year's I
Hear Radio Music Festival.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
I'm joh Kamuchi. That's what's trending on socials. Yeah, we're
joked about that.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Chris Martin from Coldplay going to be at the iHeartRadio
Music Festival just announced this morning. Get your tickets AXS
dot com, AXS dot com September twentieth and twenty first
in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
We're totally jazzed. Speaking of being excited, she's Katie Perry.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
She's here right after the song for sit down interview
on one A four to three MYFM.
Speaker 1 (52:04):
Katie Perry's here. Yay, how are you? I'm so great.
Speaker 10 (52:08):
I'm my favorite. I think radio station because my album
is called one four three Yes, thank you, and literally,
you guys are one oh four point three right, so
it's meant to be. I literally opened the elevator and
I saw, hey, there's one of four point three. I
know I was going to see you today, but it's
just so fun that, like, you know, everything is aligning.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
Did you tell Secrest that I did? I think he's
gonna was a response from him.
Speaker 10 (52:35):
I think he's going to edit it out of the end,
like you never existed.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
I doubt that.
Speaker 3 (52:42):
Yeah, so, but we have it in this interview that
we did talk about it.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
Yeah, so let the world. Yeah, we'll get it out there,
let it be known. Let's talk about the music. How
did this all come together for me?
Speaker 10 (52:51):
Well, I'm putting a record out in September, September twentieth.
I've got two songs out, Woman's World and Lifetimes, And
it's a record that I always wanted to make, a
dance pop record of sorts. It's a record I made
after having my child, and I think my whole personality
is shifted in a great way, and it's just an
(53:14):
album made from maybe a more loved, more whole spot.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
W h O l E.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
No, I got it.
Speaker 4 (53:22):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (53:23):
I just want to make sure.
Speaker 1 (53:25):
For anybody listening that they got that as well.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Yeah, that's going to be edited out.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
How old is Daisy now?
Speaker 3 (53:31):
She's actually four?
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (53:33):
Yeah, she's the best. Awesome, She's the love of my life.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Is it going by fast?
Speaker 3 (53:38):
No, actually it's not.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
It's dragging.
Speaker 10 (53:40):
It's not dragging. I just take in every single day.
I'm just so appreciative. And you know, I have been
making a record, but raising a human and focusing on that,
and I feel like her foundation, her emotional foundation is
is pretty pretty set now.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
And so I feel like I can go out into
the world and do my thing again. And because I've
laid that foundation and now it's just frosting.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
Well, then, speaking of foundations and staying grounded, how do
you foresee Daisy's life and the go forward keeping a
child grounded when you know mommy and Daddy have done
pretty well in their careers obviously and stuff, and they
have a different world than the average bear.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
I mean, I'm.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
Probably not going to get it right. Oh, Okay, I'm
going to be like every parent that just tries.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Right, because nobody's perfect.
Speaker 10 (54:28):
No, no, but I think, you know, we all strive
to do a little bit better than our parents did,
of course, And I'm grateful that I've had access to
a lot of like mental health tools that I've been
able to apply and a lot of kind of just
human evolution tools that have really helped me become the
(54:50):
person I am now and the mother I am, And
just to be mindful and present, and you know, I
presence is super duper important to me.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
And so even if I only have a couple.
Speaker 10 (55:00):
Hours with her, that's like a day, you know, because
she's going to school now that they're super president ones.
Speaker 2 (55:07):
Back in the day, my dad worked like two or
three jobs, so sometimes didn't have a chance to go
out back and have a pass with me just to
play catch.
Speaker 1 (55:14):
So I make sure my son's sixteen.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
Now, but still that we go have a game of
catch in the backyard just for a chance to talk
back and forth. Well, is there anything for you that
you want to make sure you get right with Daisy?
Speaker 10 (55:28):
I want her to always feel secure and fearless, but
with obviously, you know, physically knowing that there are limitations
out there in the world. But I just want her
to feel secure, safe, secure, and feel enough. I guess
that has been my karma is always to feel enough,
(55:49):
to feel invited, to feel loved, to feel accepted, that
she's fully loved, and it is her karma. She came
down on this planet and her biggest currency is love.
Speaker 3 (56:00):
And so I know that.
Speaker 10 (56:02):
I looked at all of her astrology stuff. I know
all of her charts, and so I have a read
on kind of like who she is in this interval
and what she needs, and I'm just so glad I
have kind of access to that in my own little way.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Are you a big fan of that? The astrology? Yeah? Yeah, yeah.
I don't know much about that.
Speaker 10 (56:19):
Stars have existed before us and will exist after us,
the real stars.
Speaker 3 (56:24):
Up in the heavens, right right up above us.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
All I know is I'm a Capricorn.
Speaker 4 (56:28):
Oh you are?
Speaker 1 (56:29):
That's great?
Speaker 3 (56:30):
So is Orlando?
Speaker 1 (56:31):
Oh my god? What are you?
Speaker 10 (56:32):
January?
Speaker 1 (56:32):
What?
Speaker 9 (56:33):
Like?
Speaker 1 (56:33):
You ready for this January thirteenth?
Speaker 3 (56:35):
Are you ready for this?
Speaker 1 (56:36):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Orlando's January thirteen.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
I knew that. Wow, ain't that crazy?
Speaker 3 (56:41):
You're also you know what? You also are what an
ace of spades? What does that mean?
Speaker 1 (56:46):
I don't know, but I like it.
Speaker 3 (56:47):
Just go and look it up.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
I'm an ace of spades.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
That's right, pretty good, it's pretty amazing.
Speaker 10 (56:51):
Ace means one, which means kind of very self oriented
at times, but also very important leads.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
Excuse me, yes, by also.
Speaker 10 (57:02):
A leader, I I and the spade is a worker,
Thank you worker. And you're also you have access to
ancient wisdom, so a knowing within yourself.
Speaker 3 (57:14):
You just know that checks, that checks. That's just the
broad stroid.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
Sometimes I do other people's work too.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
Yeah, well we're all caregivers here.
Speaker 10 (57:22):
But anyways, One four to three comes out September twentieth,
and it's an album made.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
With lots of love and super upbeat and so fun.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
Katie Ferry's here, We're gonna hear a brand news song.
We're coming up next.
Speaker 7 (57:35):
Six of us had to get into John's Highlander the
other day to leave to do something that we can't
discuss just quite yet. But I got into the middle
row of the Highlander and I sat there and I
was like, John, there's so much room back here, and
He's like, it always surprised.
Speaker 8 (57:51):
Me how much room.
Speaker 7 (57:52):
Then Lauren Sabrina got into the very very back of
the car, and you guys had so much room back
there too. It's like a clown car. I know I've
said this before, but you know when you go to
the circus and like one hundred clowns come out of
the little tiny car. I feel like we could have
fit We had six clowns in there, but we could
fit some more in the Highlander because you didn't seating.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
Up to eight.
Speaker 6 (58:10):
Right, It's like one of those cartoon backpacks. You can
just keep pulling stuff. Yes, when you said that, when
you're like, oh, we have so much room back here
in these captains chairs, I was like, you know what,
Like I haven't been back there in a while. So
then I gave Valve keys, he drove the car, and
I went in the backseat just to experience that again.
And you're right, just to see the room back there
with those captains chairs.
Speaker 8 (58:27):
There's so much legrooms.
Speaker 7 (58:29):
So you can see which Toyota is right for you
and your family, your lifestyle by visiting Toyota dot com
or just simply see your Southern California Toyota dealer today.
Speaker 1 (58:38):
Katy Perry is here in the studio today.
Speaker 6 (58:41):
You know, I'm thinking about your catalog, and I feel
like when you ask someone what your favorite Katy Perry
song is, you'll almost never get the same answer twice.
Like I feel like there's so much that you're known for.
Is there a song to you right now that like
when you perform it, when you still hear it back,
you're like, man, like I did something with this, Like
this one holds up.
Speaker 9 (59:00):
Well.
Speaker 10 (59:00):
Firework is a really it's a crowd pleaser, and it
doesn't matter how young or how mature you are.
Speaker 3 (59:09):
Everybody loves it eight to eighty, you know, the whole crowd.
Speaker 10 (59:12):
It doesn't matter how cool you are, either you're like fit,
let's just go, let's dance, you know. But I will
say the Curveball or the dark Horse was definitely dark Horse.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
Yeah, and it still works.
Speaker 10 (59:28):
Especially when I play it and people are still they
get that kind of like I gotta drop it low feeling,
okay when it comes on, like I got to loosen
my tie, right, you know, I got to put my
sunglasses on, and I got to get real low and
everybody just turns into this character. It's like a like
an instant stank face.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
Yeah. But so it works.
Speaker 10 (59:50):
And you know, interestingly enough, there's like a song on
the record that reminds me of that feeling. It's called
Gimme Gimmey, and it's featuring twenty one Savage, and people
will hear that and they might they might have that
same stank face.
Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Okay to be seen, yes, Okay, to be determined.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
What do you want people to feel when we play Lifetimes?
What do you want them to feel with that song?
Speaker 10 (01:00:12):
I want them Look, I you know, for me, it
was written for my daughter, but it can be written.
I mean, you can adopt it for anything any one.
It could be your mother, is your soulmate, it could
be your son, it could be your pet. I mean,
before I had my child, before I knew Orlando, Nugget
was my soulmate. And she still is my firstborn. Let's
talk about that. But she's almost ten years old and
(01:00:34):
she's a tiny, tiny, tiny poodle. Literally, like when I
got her, she was the size of a chicken tender.
And that's why I called her Nugget. If I squint
my eyes and drank three beers, really really small, abnormally small,
probably not ethically the best decision I made, but I
made it and we're sticking with it ten years later. Anyways,
what I want people to feel is I want them
(01:00:56):
to feel like they're that connection, that soul connection of
love is out there for them and it will find
them in every lifetime. And it's something I say to
my daughter a lot, especially lately, and like, will you
find me in every lifetime?
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
She's like, yes, I've never said that, my kid. That's great.
I don't know if I believe in different lifetimes personally.
Speaker 3 (01:01:17):
Great. We'll just ask yourself the question.
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Yeah, I do hope when I'm on the other side, yes,
you know, and then years go down the road that
my kid comes to the other side, Yes, you'll find
me then, yes. But I've got that picture. Like Jill
and I have talked about this before too. Our picture
of heaven is they're all together again, some little house
just living by a babbling brook.
Speaker 10 (01:01:36):
I feel like we will be all together or we're
all kind of go into the same one.
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Light picture like a Shyer show.
Speaker 3 (01:01:44):
Yeah, is that your idea of heaven?
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
My idea is My idea of heaven is actually every
day I get to live on the beach in Santa Barbara.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Oh, it's the same heaven. Oh god, we live on
the beach in Santa Barbara.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
That's where I love. Oh my god, So I'm actually
I actually live in heaven currently. It's a state of mind.
I live in that state of mind. Yeah all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
Now, can you get the ocean breeze every day when
you get up?
Speaker 10 (01:02:06):
Oh my gosh, it's incredible. Yeah, everything, I'm so blessed.
Right I'm from there though. Yeah, so that helps.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Out, Yeah it does. Yeah, I went back to my room. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
Oh god, so jealous.
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
Now, well, there's a choice, you make your own heaven.
Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Well, the pregnant pause is to allow you to feel
awkward enough to say you should come visit Orlando have
the same birthday.
Speaker 8 (01:02:32):
Yes, you know, we should do a dual birthday party.
Speaker 10 (01:02:35):
Oh my god, I'm gonna I'm gonna overcompensate.
Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
Oh no, that's not over compensation.
Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
Wonderful. I'll see you January thirteenth.
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Okay, Katy Perry, this is Lifetimes. It is Valentine in
the Morning, one of four to three, my fam it
is Valentine in the Morning, Katy Perry in the studio.
She's going to receive MTV's video Vanguard award and perform live.
But to be amazed on nine to eleven, that's a
pretty big deal. It's it's a wonderful opportunity.
Speaker 10 (01:03:00):
I get to perform for a lot of minutes on
television and all the internet, and do you know, a
little kind of reminder of songs and then bring some
new songs. And I'm doing it for my fans, who
have been incredible.
Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
My fans have been incredible.
Speaker 10 (01:03:17):
We've been on a journey for like fifteen years and
they've just come out like nothing else this.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
And they just stop with you through the years too.
Speaker 10 (01:03:24):
We've grown up together. I mean Lifetimes is somewhat about
that as well, Like they feel that, you know, with me,
and I feel that with them. Like literally, when I
go on social media, I will see, Okay, here's a
fan that thirteen. Here they are at twenty three and
twenty five. Some of them are having kids, some of
them have amazing jobs. They're super creative. I wish them
so much goodness, and they're just they ride.
Speaker 7 (01:03:47):
Is there a video that sticks out to you where
you thought this turned out.
Speaker 8 (01:03:50):
Better than I ever could have imagined.
Speaker 10 (01:03:52):
Yes, Actually, when I got to the set of California Girls,
which was being.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Made.
Speaker 10 (01:04:00):
It was like there was there was the guy that
did the album artwork, Will Cotton for My Teenage Dream album.
He was helping do a lot of the set. He
was consulting for it. And it was like these set pieces,
like the gingerbread house was so big. I don't even
know if that's still in storage?
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Am I paying for that not? Oh my god, it's
just rotting in a storage somewhere.
Speaker 10 (01:04:25):
But like all of the sets, you know, you know
these days we have a lot of AI. We have
a lot of course you know effects that do all
the posts, and they were like hard sets. It was
like Wizard of Oz style. And I was like, oh
my gosh, this is a big deal. Am I a
big deal?
Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
This is weird. You're spending a lot of money? Is
this okay? And it was amazing and I think it.
I think it really turned out.
Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
Do you get nervous about that AI stuff as a performer? Nah?
Speaker 10 (01:04:51):
No, I mean, look, I think it's just about chains.
It's just it's just about shift. It's like when the
Internet arrived on the scene.
Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
It's funny. I heard so thing.
Speaker 10 (01:05:00):
Okay, So when we went from horse and buggy to cars,
it was a huge shift, and they used to have
a law that there there was a man that was
employed to and I'm going to paraphrase this, so anyone
on the internet that would like to leave a comment,
thank you very much for getting it right for me
that used to walk in front of the car as
(01:05:20):
to not scare the horse and buggies that were still
on the road. So as it was transitioning, there was
still horse and buggy and there were there was a
vehicle on the road. Horses would be freaked out, So
they had an employed person in front of the car.
Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
I mean, like, how freaked out were people of cars?
Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Right?
Speaker 10 (01:05:39):
So I think it's really about I think everything is
got two things. There's a positive and there's a negative
to it. You got to keep it in balance. Obviously,
sometimes it rolls over into the negative the payoff it
ends up in that negative world. So you definitely have
to keep some reins on it. But I think it's
going to create a lot of jobs. I think people
that are paralyzed are going to walk again. I think
(01:05:59):
people that are sick are going to be totally feeling better.
People that are blind are going to see again.
Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
I agree that AI does have a ton of benefits
in respect, but she was out sick one day we
replaced her with an Ai Jill.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
It sounded so close.
Speaker 10 (01:06:13):
No, no, it may sound close, but it doesn't have
her heartbeat. It doesn't have a soul, period and a story.
Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
Okay, so there's not life.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Agreed with everything I said, though, So it was fantastic.
Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
Like I said, it didn't have a soul.
Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
It didn't have a sult.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
No, But I mean, there's going to.
Speaker 10 (01:06:26):
Be pros and cons. But think the pros of this.
And I'm not necessarily one hundred percent for it. I'm
just watching it like everybody else. Course, but don't forget
that people that are really sick, there's going to be
incredible improvements in the medical field and they need this.
I mean, of all, the scientists need this to in
order to crack the codes of things that they've been
working on for hundreds of years.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
So, but the thing that all of us see is
obviously on TikTok. Hey I made this video. Look, it's
a human being that looks like a real person, but
it's not.
Speaker 10 (01:06:54):
Yeah, and everything you see on TikTok yes grain of salt.
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
I mean TikTok is not like.
Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
It's each girl. You know, I've been telling my careful
I'm preaching the same things.
Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
Let's keep our common sense intact.
Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
Everybody turning their phones. That's what I told him.
Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
Everyone turning your phones in.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
School now where you can't have any phones. Fantastic. They
just started this.
Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
They need to do it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:17):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (01:07:18):
I mean we are so distracted. Everyone's distracted. We're all distracted.
We're so dependent. Look at what happened when the airlines
went down. Now we're going off course.
Speaker 10 (01:07:27):
I own alb I'm coming out.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
It's called one four three.
Speaker 8 (01:07:32):
Everybody learn how to farm.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Drink water.
Speaker 7 (01:07:39):
A new behind the scenes teaser was released for the
new Wicked film, and you will not believe who we
think is in the background of one of the shots.
Speaker 8 (01:07:49):
I'll tell you who it is, but out the traffic.
I am so excited for the Wicked movie. Sorry, Ariana
Grande and Cynthia Arrivo.
Speaker 7 (01:07:59):
And they just released a new teaser and it has
some behind the scenes footage and some scenes from the movie.
And I didn't notice this until someone noticed it on TikTok.
There is this scene and it looks like they're in
Emerald city. There's a bunch of people in the background
and if you look, my goodness, if that is not
Kristin Chenowith in the crowd, it looks like her one
(01:08:24):
hundred percent. And so now fans are running with this
thinking could she be playing Glinda's mom? So Kristin Chenowith
originated the role of Glinda on Broadway in Wicked, So
then they're thinking, can she be Glinda's mom? And then
will Ladina Menzelle be Alphaba's mom? Because they have said
we had a Dana in here, and she said she
(01:08:46):
would love to be a part of it somehow, but
she's like, I'm older now she said that. I think
we even said, well, you could be Glinda's mom or
not Glenna's mom, Alva's mom.
Speaker 8 (01:08:56):
And so I'm thinking, I'm hoping that.
Speaker 7 (01:08:58):
This is the case that christ With and Adina Monzielle
are a part of the Wicked film.
Speaker 8 (01:09:03):
Did everybody follow me you?
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
I got lost?
Speaker 8 (01:09:06):
I believe he did. I think she came up with.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
That suggestion christ is going to be in the new Wicked.
Speaker 8 (01:09:14):
Well that's not confirmed.
Speaker 7 (01:09:15):
There's a woman in the crowd that looks just like her.
It looks just like her.
Speaker 9 (01:09:19):
Isn't it?
Speaker 8 (01:09:20):
Is it her?
Speaker 6 (01:09:20):
Though?
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Can't people tell?
Speaker 8 (01:09:22):
I can tell?
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Is it her?
Speaker 8 (01:09:23):
I think it's her?
Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
Okay, you wanted to look at this, I'll trust you.
Speaker 8 (01:09:28):
It looks like her.
Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
Can you tell us anything we just talked about.
Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
I don't know who these people are.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
Some of them are characters, some of them are actress.
I know that. Yeah, I've never seen.
Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
A wicked you've ever heard of Christian show?
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
No, I wouldn't know what she looks like? Was it
does she? Was it? Not Jingle all the Way? What
was it?
Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Was that Matthew Broderick one? I think she was in, Uh,
it's a Christmas movie I love.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Maybe just Jingle all the Way or something.
Speaker 8 (01:09:54):
I don't know that one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
Well, I've gotten down so much further that The Rabbit Hole.
Speaker 7 (01:10:01):
The Netflix series Wednesday, and the Beetlejuice sequel almost didn't
happen because director Tim Burton said he honestly considered retirement
after making Dumbo back in twenty nineteen, and he.
Speaker 8 (01:10:14):
Said he really didn't know. He thought that could have
been it.
Speaker 7 (01:10:17):
He could have retired, maybe he would have become an
animator again, he goes, But it just didn't I didn't
have the energy, but he said both Wednesday and the
Beetle Juice sequel did re energize me, so thankfully he
didn't retire.
Speaker 8 (01:10:30):
I'm Joe when they're a team of headlines.
Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
It's eight fifty seven.
Speaker 2 (01:10:33):

you're streaming us on your desktop. Thanks for doing that,
or listening to the free iHeartRadio app with your AirPods.
(01:11:05):
I hope your desk or your work area is clean.
Ours just attracts dust. There's a lot of electronic equipment
in here, so there buy a lot of dust because
electronics sometimes statically attract dust out here.
Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
But it's a mess in this place.
Speaker 7 (01:11:19):
Man, there's throughout this show, there's a lot going on,
and we have a lot of papers and a lot
of stuff going on. So I understand if if somebody
was to walk in right in the middle of the show. Yeah,
it's gonna look messy because we're a live radio show.
Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Says what a dump.
Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
That was our boss always and he's the one telling
us to get it all cleaned up and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
Well, we do have a toaster in here, anymore, we
get rid of it. We got rid of the toaster,
We got rid of the oven.
Speaker 8 (01:11:45):
Yeah, we sure did.
Speaker 1 (01:11:46):
We're gonna get.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
Rid of this washing machine in a few minutes too,
so it should be great.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Nine three. It is one of four to three mile
fav It's Valentine Morning.
Speaker 2 (01:11:54):
By the way, if you ever want to come into

senior executive Prouser in charge of production, and he can

Speaker 8 (01:12:18):
It's always so much fun. Please do.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
The CIF, which is the organization that makes rules for
high school sports, is putting new guidelines in place to
protect athletes in extreme heat. The new rules will require
schools to schedule outdoor practice during cooler times like early
morning or late evening. They also require schools to postpone
or cancel practice during extreme heat as well. No idea
what that number is yet, will wait and find out,
(01:12:41):
but it usually is in number on the thermometer. Obviously,
the last existing orange grove in the San Fernano Valley
will likely be torn down and replaced by luxury homes.
Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
I don't like this, oh No.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Orange groves have been a big part of southern California
up in the Santa Clarida area for a number of
years or a ton of orange grows up there too.
The fourteen acre orange grove is in Tarzana. It's been
around for one hundred years. Local residents and city council
members want to make the grove an historical landmark to
save it from being destroyed. City officials will meet next
week to discuss the plan development. I agree, if there's
(01:13:15):
a way to do it and then maintain the Orange
Grove and then use this oranges for the community that
lives around.
Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
There, why not. It isn't been great night, John was
trending well.
Speaker 6 (01:13:23):
In case you missed it, the big story for us
today was a new look at the few artists we
just added to this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival. We just
added the weekend Chris Martin from Coldplay and then asap
Rocky as well, and that's joining Halsey, do a Leap.
Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
A Hosier all the stars that we've already added to
the show.
Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
And we're about a month out, so you can get
those details on tickets at one o four to three
mifim dot com Slash Festival.
Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
I'm John Kamuci and that's what's trending on socials.
Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
All right, we all drive Toyota's here on Valentin in
the morning. I'm gonna preas prime Jillson around four, Johnsanhilander
we keep our eyes pretty clean. John's Hilander when I
was driving it yesterday did super clean.
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
By the way, we keep that thing clean every single
week I watch it. Nice job, man. It makes you
feel better.
Speaker 6 (01:14:00):
When you have a car that you keep clean because
and I just I'm so proud of that car. Every
time I walk out of a grocery store, a restaurant,
I'm like, Islander, that's mine right there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
He was like so mad at me for a SECONDO
because I was driving his Highlander. He tosses me the keys.
Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
I drive it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
We're doing something yesterday as a show, and I don't
have my glasses on, so that was a problem. Yeah,
I missed a red light, but.
Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
It was yellow, literally turning red, And I said, hey,
just no break check for that light.
Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
And he goes, oh, I didn't know there's a light there.
Speaker 8 (01:14:25):
He said, I didn't see the light.
Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
Excided him that I didn't see it was yellow. I
didn't even see the light. It happens, happens.
Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
To the best of us, right. It was a weird
spot for a light. Why would you put one at
an intersection? Strange?
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
So anyway, we're driving John's Highlander. Thanks Briy and this
is really coming right. But then he gets all mad
at me because they started adjusting the mirrors and everything
like that.
Speaker 6 (01:14:42):
Okay, we're taking a photo in the car, and just
to take a photo in the driver's seat.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
He adjusted steering wheel, he put it. He's adjusting the
rear view of mirrors, adjusting the seats everything. Anywhere we
went somewhere, I knew we'd be driving somewhere right, he'd
already adjusted the car. It's like, now, take us wherever
you want.
Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
To go, you know, and then ixplain the John that
little memory button you pressed right there and it puts
her right back to exactly what it was before. I've
never had to use that actually, and then walk with
somebody else rides your car right. Yea super company though,
great ride and a lot of pickup. But just I
felt like we'd go on a long trip y minus
the the blind spot awareness that I needed because I
wasn't wearing my glasses. I felt like we were all
(01:15:21):
comfortable in that car. I felt like, we're just gonna
go for a ride, man.
Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
And Islander's built for trips, I'm telling you, so find
out which Toyota is right for you. At Toyota dot
Com one.
Speaker 2 (01:15:29):

first time, and like, I could play her off as

Growing up, I get to Lindsay too, yeah everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:15:47):

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):

but I wasn't making fun of you. I was enamored
by it though.
