Speaker 6 (00:25):
Wait, I know what.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I can't explain it.
Speaker 6 (00:28):
Okay, we'll take it.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
I like it, dude. Yeah, I appreciate the Mondays.
Speaker 6 (00:32):
This is good.
Speaker 7 (00:33):
Normally I am miserable on Monday. Sure, Tuesday and Wednesday
and Thursday. But I don't know why I'm feeling good today.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Bro Let me ask you this would Friday's be is
good without Mondays?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
The answer is no, No, they wouldn't. Is this a
Monday preche. This is a little Monday preche. Quick Monday Prech.
Speaker 6 (00:50):
Serially for the preche.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
I think can we start speaking English quick appreciation for
the Monday Quick Priest. The Monday Prech appreci.
Speaker 7 (01:02):
Sent me this video of this guy that that's how
he talks in my head.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, the Monday p Yeah, quick Monday Preche. Who's the guys.
The guy in the pond with the alligators from Florida.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
I do love that guy. No, it's these two guys
chatting and jt uh huh. And that's that's essentially their
whole thing. They're like Orange County dudes, and they are
just vibes all the time. They're all about the stoke.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
What the hell stoke.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
They also give like an appreciation to inflation because they're saying,
like inflation makes strong people because they're hard times. So
the good times are only as good because you have
to deal with the hard times and then you know
what it's like to go through those challenges, like you
know what you need to start, Like looking at it
glass half full, Monday's great.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Dude, what do I want to punch somebody? I don't
know if it's him, if it's the dudes that are
stoking or whatever. The appreciation for inflation, it's it's.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Actually kind of smart.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
And how you view it, you the person can afford
to feed their kids because they don't have the money
to do and they can't find the job to make.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
It happen, and then thinking about how much it sucks
does not make it any better.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
They just got to work harder.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
No, it's not the solution to it. It's all about
perception and how you deal with it.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Oh, it's appreciation for inflation.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Mondays can suck or mondays can be great.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
A lot of mondays go away.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
To die in the water.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
It doesn't matter. No, I hate mondays now, Yeah, I've
done it. Mondays. Michael, how's New York do? And Buddy,
how are you doing?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
It's good. It's apple season up here. Yeah, we got
a place down the street that sells the best apple
freeters and they are open for the season and it
is amazing.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
My god, would you cut his mic off? I loved
Sarah's photos of the Ora Borealis. That was amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Oh yeah, I was just going through.
Speaker 8 (02:47):
I have a bigger camera that I have that I
took a couple of pictures of it.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Really interesting stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
If you get like a really good one, if you're
okay posting it, can you send it to Laura. We'll
put up on that Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 9 (02:59):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, it was. I've never seen there or a borealis.
The northern lights there are a borealis and the astrallis
the northern and southern lights respectively. And I just can't
believe that. You know, there he is that New York
Connecticut region stuff. Got to see it and it was beautiful.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
Oh I need to see.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
This and I did you know it was coming? Did
they talk to you guys about it?
Speaker 1 (03:19):
No? So my wife's sister actually called us, like, look
up in the sky right now, it's pink. Oh my
rain outside.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
It was so nice. It was beautiful. Weather's crazy. You know.
That's my Monday prish the Talia pressed advice. You got
that morning traffic, the tale. What's going on?
Speaker 8 (03:43):
Oh, we got an early morning cigarette right now in
Pomona at ten A West at Indian Hill Road.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
My fab it is valence out of the morning, Torrit
Taylor continues, We've got that again today. Your chance to
hang out with Taylor Swift. Two songs from Taylor in
a row and you get to go to her show,
which will be the final show in the United States.
I'm fighting. I was gone. That's fighting up a sneeze.
It's gone.
Speaker 6 (04:12):
Bless you in advance.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
You know what he already has. He already has on
the website. Okay, that was an inside joke that no
one will ever get. No one'll ever get that. I'm
so sorry. I can't even explain that little inside joke there.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
Of the YouTube part.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Uh no, it takes literally ten seconds, but it's not
worth it, all right. Kevin Manner used to work in
a show and we did an interview with you two,
and it never got on the radio or something. It
just lived on the website. So anytime anybody ever said
phrase you too, he'd say, on the website, it's pretty good.
There it is ten seconds and stuck in your head
now for the rest of your life. My kids off
from school today.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Yeah, Indigenous People's Day.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
No, oh, well that's not it.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
That's not it. Why I don't know. It's not that
because they were all Friday as well. They're not doing
Indigital People's weekend. So he's off Friday, he's off today,
and he's off tomorrow. Will fall break, Yeah, like a
mini fall break.
Speaker 6 (05:07):
Or something that's nice.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, they might have like PSA t's going on or something.
I'm not sure, but yeah, so Friday was off, today,
he's off Tomorrow, he's off and then it's not even
the fall break. It's like another fall break, like coming up.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
I think they'll have another week off fine out. Oh
does he have soccer and stuff?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yeah, we had stuff to do. Oh we had a
soccer game yesterday and stuff. So these things to do. Yeah,
it's nice to sleep in. And they had their must
have been like mid terms or something last week. They
had a bunch of big tests last week, so he
was like spent anyway, So it was good to have
some time off and recoup, you know.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
Yeah, especially after homecoming too.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I know, right, I know, I know Jill and I
put in for our vacation for Christmas time.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, just you sure did.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah. I feel like I should tell Michael now. Oh yeah,
oh gosh, oh so Michael. Oh shall I tell you
after the break? All right, let me tell your break.
Come right back.
Speaker 9 (05:59):
What had he done?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Because Michael has to do a lot of the heavy
lifting behind the scenes. Let me take breaking right back.
It's Valentine the Morning, Valentine in the Morning, one four three,
my FM nineties to now.
Speaker 10 (06:11):
I'm going to tell you a present. That's your traffic
with Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
All right, to tell you thank you. Uh, last we
left off, my dear friends, we're talking about holiday breaks.
In the world of radio, we don't get as much
vacation throughout the year as some other people and stuff,
because they always want you on the air. But at
Christmas time, when everyone's listening to the coast, it's easy
to go because nobody's listening to us, you know, nobody
(06:37):
the real ones to day people who enjoy our banter,
the real ones. And you know it's sometimes you don't
want Christmas music all the time, but a lot of
people switch to Christmas stations at Christmas. So I have
a bunch of vacation time just from being here so long.
And then during COVID, none of us took vacation. You know,
it was working from home and not taking vacane stuff.
So what I did, Miguel is I took off the
(07:03):
week of the twenty third, right December, of the week
of the twenty third, let to take it off. Yeah,
then December the week of the thirtieth, you know, it's
thirty to thirty first, and it goes into the first
it's like, you know, it's New Year's week, and so
I took that off as well. So I took I
took two weeks off.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I feel like that's fairly normal. Actually send it around here.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Well, then I said, you know what. Oh, no, we've
got our nots Mary Farm thing early in December, right,
I think it's the tenth. Probably it's around there. Yeah, yeah,
you're afraid of the real date or something.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Yeah, I don't know if we've announced it yet.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
All right, so it's early December. So I said, you
know what, let me just take the week of the
sixteenth off too. So I took the week of the sixteenth,
week of the twenty third, and week of the thirtieth.
Speaker 6 (07:47):
And then your good friend Jill is taking her honeymoon
in December, and.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
So that's like, Jill, you're you're golden.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
I don't, I'm not.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
L was taking the week of the sixteenth. I immediately
put in for that week as well.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
So when are you coming back to work, Chill?
Speaker 6 (08:06):
I'm back January sixth.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
See, that's the thing. I also looked at that week.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
And is the show just over?
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Are we done? I'm moving to Santa Fe, to Mexico
to get myself a ranch with all the other radio
people that live in Santa Fe. No, just those three
weeks as far as we know. And you know, I
think Peek approved of our boss. He did, But it
is like Christmas time if people expect that you're off
the air, or at least you have a lighter show
(08:37):
during those holidays and stuff.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
And Michael, let us know what you need from us
in advance, and we'll be with happy hearts able to
fulfill that for you.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Okay, okay, I'll let you know, all right.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
I'll need to know the next three.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Minutes, I'll get that to you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Thanks man, I appreciate you. It's one four three, my fam.
It is Valentine in the Morning. Did anybody watch SNL?
We gotta talk about that coming out that you got
it in the entertainment headlines and you've got some about
it too. Yeah, like how did Ariana Grande do?
Speaker 11 (09:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yeah, she did great. Okay, I didn't get to see it. Okay.
It's one o four to three, my family. It is
Valentine in the Mornings.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Make those back then.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Hey, Danielle, good morning. How are you doing today?
Speaker 12 (09:20):
Good morning?
Speaker 9 (09:21):
Now?
Speaker 12 (09:21):
How are you did?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
All right? What's that story on? Brad was just telling
the story with your ex reaching out to you before
you got married.
Speaker 12 (09:27):
Before he got married.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
The day before he got married, he called me.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
He reached out to you the day before he got married. Yes,
what are you saying?
Speaker 12 (09:36):
It was one of those like he needed me to
tell him it was okay to get married.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
Oh, whoa?
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Did he still have feelings for you?
Speaker 12 (09:45):
We were together for nine years?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's a lot of time.
Speaker 12 (09:50):
Yeah, and it ended kind of rough and we kind
of just didn't talk anymore. Why did the mutual agreement?
No one, No one heard anyone or anything like that.
It was we were together from like fourteen years old
to like three.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
That's crazy.
Speaker 12 (10:05):
Yeah, so we needed to kind of grow up without
each other.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Just before he got married, he checked in with you.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
Yes he did.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Are you sure there wasn't still part of him wondering if?
Speaker 12 (10:17):
Maybe I think there was, because during that whole him
needing me to tell him it was okay to get married,
it was also if I wasn't okay, I needed to
tell him right now.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Did you now this is just between us, just between
us now? Did you secretly want to tell him, don't
do it, let's try again. Was it a part of
you that felt that?
Speaker 12 (10:39):
I don't know, I mean, a lot has happened.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
I could I could see a part of you feeling
that way. Just reminiscing about days gone by, and just
an easier time in life when things seemed so easy
to understand. You know, you thought you were supposed to
be together, and sometimes we forget the bad things and
we romanticize the good things. So I could see we're
in that moment. You might feel tempted to say, I
think we should take another shot, but you were so
(11:06):
afraid to say it.
Speaker 12 (11:07):
Meant yes, But.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
It was the day before the wedding. You were so
afraid to say it.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
And what if you had said it, what was he
going to do? Call off the wedding?
Speaker 12 (11:14):
Exactly? And I think that's what it was, where I
couldn't bring myself to actually say the word. So I
had to be like I had to tell him that
no matter what happened, I was happy for him.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
But because you fell in societal norms, and society says
you can't tell somebody the day before their wedding that
you loved them, you didn't.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
Tell him, No, absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Does party you regret not saying it?
Speaker 12 (11:37):
Well, they are married, of course, of course. And about
six to seven months after they got married, I ran
into him and his wife, and it was one of
those things where like we had to just ignore each other,
you and him. You know, yeah, absolutely, so.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
You talked a lot to her and stuff like that,
because you still felt something when you ran into him.
Speaker 12 (12:01):
Oh, of course I did, you know. I think I
will always feel something for him, like love for him,
But I don't know if I was ever like in
love with him anymore.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Did you have someone in your life when he called
you the day before his wedding? Was there someone in
the picture with you?
Speaker 9 (12:20):
No?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Then good on you.
Speaker 12 (12:23):
No, there was not.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
That was really mature of you to not instigate, and
because you easily could have said, you know what, of
course I'm thinking about you, like in the fact that
you didn't entertain that when you didn't have anything going
on yourself.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Big maturity move, for sure. But what if have you
not seen it ron film? I think like fourteen years
there was no one to know she was. It was
nine years she met him when she was fourteen. Pay
attention nine years she met him at fourteen to know. No,
you're fourteen, you don't know you're out by twenty three.
You're a young kid at that point. Still it does matter.
This could have been the love of your life that
(12:56):
you let get away.
Speaker 12 (12:58):
Well, I think it was one of those things where
like because we're so young and you know.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
We grew up there. That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 12 (13:03):
I have less for him, you, and even until this day,
I run into him a lot more than I want to.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah, sometimes universe works like that. Sometimes it works like that.
Not the one, He's not the one.
Speaker 12 (13:17):
No, no, not at all. I have to see him
like four times a week now.
Speaker 6 (13:20):
Oh my god.
Speaker 12 (13:21):
Sounds like no, no, no, Jill, he's my son's football coach.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Oh sounds like the universe is pointing you in a
certain direction.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Here.
Speaker 6 (13:38):
Do you have a partner?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
I do not, right, Okay?
Speaker 6 (13:42):
No?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Does he have any kids with this his wife?
Speaker 11 (13:45):
Yes he does, he does.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeh. Does your son like playing with those kids?
Speaker 12 (13:49):
He is actually best friends with his son?
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Oh my dear god. Yeah, you've done everything you can
to give yourself that separation that's needed.
Speaker 12 (13:56):
But I tried.
Speaker 6 (13:59):
You will me that person that's going to show you
what that true love.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I think she met him, but he ain't.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
It's not him.
Speaker 12 (14:09):
No, it's definitely not him, absolutely. And the more I
see it and the more I see his interactions in
front of me, I'm more like thankful that I don't
have him in my life, and that's it.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
That's why he's no.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
No, that's you just looking for bad stuff to go. Oh,
thank goodness, you're like looking for anything. The guy slams
the door too much in the Uber Driver, you like,
oh he's a two star guy. Bag Well, I do
hope that the way life is supposed to pan out
for you, that it pans out for you that way.
Speaker 12 (14:40):
Oh thanks, thank you, thank you. I'm still waiting for John.
But you know the only time with Hell he's kidding, kidding, Guys.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Are you your shot as.
Speaker 12 (14:54):
I never will be.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Keep the options open, That's all I'm saying. What not
for me? I'm just saying, mister purity a second ago,
keep those options up, keep those sales unfurled. I stand by,
and you're still not the one. Keep your Danielle listen
nice chow, which is always love a kay always. Guys,
have a great one.
Speaker 10 (15:17):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I wish she got through on Friday. She would have
been fun in the air in front. Yeah you know.
Now she's like in the five o'clock.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Hour, like hours fun you guys always just know.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
But it's not prime time. We have a much larger
audience like after seven or eight when we're doing that
topic on Friday.
Speaker 7 (15:33):
This five o'clock hour is my favorite hour for you
listening right now. I'm part of the five o'clock crew
with you.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
All right, thousand bucks killed up six o'clock this morning.
In is Valanine in the morning. This one for three FF.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
This is Valentine in the Morning. My FM nineties to.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
One of four to three, my fami, it is Valentine
in the Morning. Anybody's seen any movies this weekend? No,
I haven't seen a movie in a while, to be honest. No, nothing.
Anybody gonna see The Joker? Did you see it? Laura?
Come to Mike? Please tell us what we thought.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 13 (16:14):
The Joker got a lot of bad press. I think
it was excellent. I don't know what people were expecting.
I saw the first one.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
I loved it.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
I thought it was a great prequel.
Speaker 6 (16:24):
I thought it's fantastic, great songs.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Is this a prequel? A sequel?
Speaker 6 (16:31):
What's a prequel?
Speaker 2 (16:32):
The thing that comes before?
Speaker 6 (16:35):
I'm sorry everyone, it is a sequel.
Speaker 10 (16:37):
I take it back.
Speaker 14 (16:38):
We will.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Hit the dumb button. Hit the dumb button. You enjoyed it?
Speaker 6 (16:50):
I loved it. I thought it was fantastic. I think
everyone should see it. Just don't get the batter reefs.
Speaker 13 (16:54):
But that's what movies are about, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
It's getting rave reviews. Actually the Trump movie is that
out yet? That comes out soon. I think already it's
actually getting love and hate him, whatever your feelings are
in somebody. The movie itself is actually getting stan I
heard did a really good job portraying him. Is that
who played He's great Sebastian Stance.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Oh really, he's the Winter Soldier from the Marvel Cinematic
University wears the big metal arm.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Oh yeah, I like that movie. That's pretty good.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
Back to Joker really quickly, I read this article that
was saying that everybody's missing the point of the movie. Yeah,
it's like you're zoning in on this character and his
unstable life and his very very sad life, and that's
why that movie drags on, and that it's so heavy
and it's so down. They're bringing you into his life.
And it was something about people are missing that.
Speaker 13 (17:43):
I think it's great, And I know a lot of
people had issues with the fact that the music was covers.
I think people thought going into it Lady Gaga was
going to have these original songs covers.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
I didn't know that, but would fine with coverage.
Speaker 13 (17:57):
She does an excellent job. I honestly would write it
at nine out of ten.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
WHOA, yeah, I mean Guardians of the Galaxy was all covers.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
You know, yeah, it's great.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
All right, there's a comparison. Yeah, us, you know what
I mean? You got my message?
Speaker 15 (18:17):
There?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
It is there.
Speaker 11 (18:18):
It is.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
The person I get the morning trapping the tale. What's
going on?
Speaker 8 (18:23):
We're going out to Anaheim Hills right now on the
ninety one at West Green River Road.
Speaker 10 (18:27):
There's a stalled car.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
On a four three them. It is Valentin in the morning.
We're gonna do a dumb game. If you like dumb games,
this is the show for you. If you like dumb conversation, well,
this isn't the show for you. I'm sorry. We're like
a mensager of ind the Morning. So mm do reach
out eight sixty six y five four to FOURFM if
you'd like to play today's dumb game. What is the prize?
Speaker 6 (18:50):
By the way, Danny Elfman at the Hollywood Bowl.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
You say that like I shouldn't know who he is.
I'm gonna take a guess. He's a Broadway star. Hold on,
give me some guests. Danny Elfman from the movie elf
He all right, No, Danny Elfman is a famous writer.
Let's do famous babies with him.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Okay, imagine the famous baby coming out the lead singer.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
People tuning in like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 7 (19:18):
What?
Speaker 2 (19:18):
The first time listener super confused.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
On Wednesday, we do famous babies, and I give you
clues as to things that could have been said or
done in the delivery room for this famous celebrity as
a baby.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Now I've got it.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
So imagine the name is baby coming out the lead
singer of a band?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Baby? Got it? It's your relation or something. Aren't you
related to this guy?
Speaker 6 (19:39):
Related to the leads?
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Are going? But doing his own thing?
Speaker 6 (19:44):
Well, no, he does all kinds of movie scores.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
He's the Christmas sing what's this?
Speaker 6 (19:52):
That's Danny Elfman.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
That's his voice.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
He's the singing voice.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
You get to go to the Hollood Bowl to hear
a guy go what's this?
Speaker 6 (19:58):
What's the many others songs?
Speaker 2 (20:00):
What's that? No, No, Denny, it's what's this? What was that?
I don't know? So that's cool.
Speaker 6 (20:06):
But John Avila the basis from NGO Bongo went to
high school with my mom one of my mom's God.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
You not related, Danny Elfman. No, all right, So John
Avulo Avula Avula is the basis. He's your uncle John,
but he's not really easy.
Speaker 6 (20:23):
Not blood related but related through the heart.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Is that a Mexican thing or your family thing? Because
you have a lot of aunts and uncles that have
a zerer relation to you on twenty three and me.
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Right, I do have a lot of aunts and uncles
and cousins that are related to me.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Uh huh.
Speaker 6 (20:34):
But then if you are a friend of the family
or my aunt or my uncle, that's just how it
is growing up.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, bring it in's Uncle Val, Come here, girl, bring
it in for Uncle Val. Who wants to sit on
my lap? Come on, tell me what you want for Christmas?
Who wants to play today's dumb game? Eight six six
five four four My FM, it's the Valentine in the
Morning listener feud call right now, Call.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 16 (20:57):
Eight sixty six five four four six nine three six.
Speaker 10 (21:00):
I'm gonna tell you Press and Natty chafficklip found tight
in the morning.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Have you recovered, honestly from all the excitement with the Dodgers.
Speaker 10 (21:06):
Not at all, and it's still going, Oh, I know.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
You're on a ride, babe, what a total ride.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
You know.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
It's funny because like if the Mets, if this was
a different year and the Dodgers weren't playing the Mets,
like the Dodgers weren't in it or something, I kind
of root for the Mets Yankees just for a subway series.
I hate I hate the Mets. I hate them. Oh
they beat the Red Sox years ago in nineteen eighty six.
It broke my heart. I hate the I think it
was eighty six. I hate the Yankees just because who
(21:33):
doesn't hate communism or whatever they yes, the Yankees or
the Devil so I mean, I hate them both. But
just to see a Mets Yankees series that would like
New York would lose their ever living mind.
Speaker 14 (21:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
I just also don't think that's the that fun, you know,
you know that's fun. Oh you're saying like that's and Yankees.
It's just that's not that fun to me. It's too
much New York.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
It's you wouldn't be into the Dodgers Angels.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
No, I think it's it's too much really really yeah, Okay,
let's spread let's spread it out a little bit, you.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Know, Okay, no teach their own, teach your own. I'd
be into it. I'd love it. I'd love anyone against
the Yankees. Though.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
If the Yankees go down, I'm happy.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Well, the old line is, you know, my favorite team
is so so. My second favorite team is whoever's playing
the Yankees each Yeah, there you go, all right? Weather
today sunny. Hi's mostly in the eighties, upper sixties, lost
seventies to the beaches. Today's gonna be hotest day of
the week. Boo fifty seven, San Dimas sixty three, Long Beach.
Jill's goot the entertivient headlines coming up?
Speaker 6 (22:29):
Parison Ford is eighty two, and he says he's still
working as an actor for this one reason. I'll tell
you what that is coming up at six fifty.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
God, you know who's doing great? Who's up there in
age probably like late seventies, maybe seventy five, Billy Flippin' Joel. Oh, Yeah,
how was that that? Into a dome? By the way,
is the bomb the bomb? Once you learn how to
use the app and stuff, which doesn't take long, you
have face. Id you give me your credit card and
you give me your fingerpri it and your eyes and
you give your first child and all that. But once
you get past that, my gut, it's great. Yeah, everything's touchless.
(23:00):
There's cameras. We were in like some club level, and
you know, I see this food sitting there and I'm like,
can we just get it as a part of the deal.
She goes, Oh no, it's like Amazon freshack at the
cameras or something, and you just grab the food and
it just charges your car, so you don't realize you
spent two thousand dollars. Oh my god. Yeah, it's so cool.
The venue is so great. It's clean, it's nice, it's
(23:21):
well attended. Billy Joel was flipping. An amazing guy showed
up late though, like eight thirty. Dude, r freeway fire,
I guess, And he goes, there's a fire in the
freeway outside. I didn't notice it, but I guess some
people were late so they were holding the venue for
a bit. It was fire the freeway outside. I'll tell
you one thing, we didn't start it. And then he
(23:43):
plays for like two and a half hours. The guy
was unflipping believable, and so many young people like John's
face in the crowd. Yeah, it really amazing. I enjoyed
it too, loved it. That's awesome, loved it, loved it,
loved it. So I talk more about that later on.
All right, let's do the Valentine in the Morning listener fewd.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
We asked our Valentine's the Morning listeners two questions, and
we gather the top five answers, and your job is
to tell us what those five answers work.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Let's meet today's contestants. Good morning, Steve and Northridge. How
are you today?
Speaker 17 (24:16):
Good morning, I'm awesome.

Let's go ladies first. We're gonna start with you Iris.
We asked Valentine in the Morning listeners. We asked them
name something you might find in a messy teenager's room.
Top five answers on the board to get three strikes
(24:41):
in forty five seconds. What do you think name something
you might find in a messy teenager's room? Go right ahead,
dirty dishes, dirty dishes? Correct, keep going, Yeah, you gotta
get more. Top five on the board, keep going, Lure,
(25:02):
there you go. You got two right, very good, no
strikes so far, clock is ticking. Name something you might
find in a messy teenager's room.
Speaker 17 (25:11):
Trash.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
You are doing fantastic. You clearly have a messy teenager.
Two more. We've never had a perfect score. Keep going,
messy bed. Okay, you got two more strikes to go, though,
messy Bed's not on there. About ten seconds left. Something
you might find in a messy teenager's.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
Room, their homework everywhere.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
My god, you are one away from nailings. You have
four right, and then big brother steps in. Big brother
steps in. We'll never have a true order. Five seconds
county rappers, starget you got four right? That congratulation. What
(26:02):
did she miss? What's the one she missed? Food? Old food?
Speaker 1 (26:06):
The number one answer.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
That's the number one answer is old food. Wow, but
my gosh, everything else to correct played, silver and cups,
half finished homework assignments, trash and food rappers, dirty clothes
number one, old food four out of five. We've never
had that iris never ever. Good job, Well, Steve, I know,
but listen, maybe it's the something in the air on
(26:29):
October fourteenth, you know, paydays tomorrow for a lot of people.
Maybe there's something going on. Here we go, We asked
Valentine in the morning, listeners, name something people try to
squeeze into. You have forty five seconds, three strikes on
the board. Name something people try to squeeze into. Go
right ahead, clothing correct, squeeze into.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
A car h.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Not a carve. You're getting closer warm here.
Speaker 14 (27:06):
Oh ah, let's see one strike correct answer.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Something people try to squeeze into. We're getting to shut
themself into. It's a tight spot, an airplane seed like
where you're thinking that son on there? Ah, I have
one more strike, right, one more strike that's it.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
Uh oh, let's see squeeze into.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
One correct answer on the board. You need three more
to tie.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Oh boy, come on now.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Something people squeeze into.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
A door?
Speaker 2 (27:58):
A door squeezing into the old door. All right, let
me read you what they were okay, Number five A
group picture people trying to squeeze in the group picture.
Number four, A pair of shoes. Number three, a parking
spot number two in elevator number one. Close. That's what
people try to squeeze into. So that does mean for
(28:19):
this round, iris you in.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
Mirus, you want a pair of tickets to see Danny
Elfman at the Hollywood Bowl on November two. Tickets around
sale now takeetmaster dot com. Great job for right, that's amazing.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Wow, nice jovirus. Thank you well as you exsit the stage, Steve.
Oh we don't do that this game, do we. This
moment is entirely you're Steve. You take it away, say
whatever you want to say.
Speaker 15 (28:50):
I'd like to give a shout out to my dogs Wanka, Scooby,
Mickey and Snoopy.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (28:58):
We'll tell the hounds. Thanks for listening, appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (29:02):
I have a good one.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
You too, you yeah darn it? Yeah, yeah yeah six
one of four to three. My famous Valentine the morning
I mentioned I went to Billy Joel over the weekend. God,
(29:23):
what a busy weekend.
Speaker 14 (29:23):
Man.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
I have not recovered since New York. Oh, I know,
I'm dying. I've probably got chest pains. Who knows he
didn't get sleep.
Speaker 9 (29:32):
No.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
No, Thursday, we had gotten back from New York where
we lost the Marconi's Up for Big Award and our
show lost. We're all losers, but that's okay. Yeah, well,
I don't know how to phrase it otherwise. So we
get back from New York and then like Friday, you know,
we're doing our show and stuff like that. Then what
was Friday night? I had something. Friday night, I had
(29:53):
soccer with Calm. Like Thursday night was out like ten o'clock.
Thursday night we had someone else. Friday night, Saturday we
had Billy Joel, and then Sunday it was like soccer
all day and go to visit my mom and stuff.
It's been like NonStop. Then my wife's on a terar
for sitting up Halloween decorations. Oh good, she's all fired
up because Jill's house is like Halloween Central. Got to
(30:14):
take it through like public storage. You get out all
these Halloween decorations and stuff like that.
Speaker 6 (30:17):
You have a busy week ahead of you.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Uh yeah, I don't know. I look at the day.
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (30:24):
That's a good way to look at it. So you
don't get overwhelmed, right.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Because you can feel overwhelmed for sure with everything in
front of you. Like I haven't thought about we have a
meeting with John Peak at ten thirty today. Oh that's
just yeah, I know, sho's your data on right?
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Every Monday?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Everything my head every Monday.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
No, he's been keeping it at fifteen minutes which is nice.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Well yeah, but they seem like they're pointless.
Speaker 6 (30:42):
Then, well most are, most could be.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
I told that to somebody recently. I said, like, in
New York, I felt free and you know, there's no
bosses around. We're having a great time and we're doing
the show for New York and it was great and
everything like that, and the students in New York are
so much nice and ours all that stuff. And I
said they were calling me like, New York vow, He's
care free and fun. New York vow love him. Then
I was like this person I was telling the story too.
I go on New York Jill, she's dark because I said.
(31:14):
We went on the air and this girl is the
sweetest woman I know. And we went on the air
and she started talking about our Bird Bank studios and
she goes, oh my god, Brian, they're a dump. Yeah,
and she's just like, dump this dump dass.
Speaker 6 (31:25):
Nothing against anybody that works here. It's just the building
compared to the studios in New York.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
I mean, the people that designed it might be a
bit upset. The people that down the hall, you know,
against you guys, but sort of saying like a little
darker and Now she continues with like, oh, yeah, these
meetings are idiot.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
Well they are speaking of mind.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Wow, this is the new Jill. She's coming out.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
I'm just saying the truth. Usually in the past, I
wouldn't want to say something that might defend somebody.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Yes, that has been you in the.
Speaker 6 (31:57):
Past, even if I felt a certain way, I wasn't
going to be completely honest. But are Monday.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
We're worried about not how you were seen on the air,
but you're worried about how people thought of you. Maybe
you thought too much about how much people though about it.
Speaker 6 (32:09):
I didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. You're being too nice, right,
But now I know that those Monday meetings could be
summed up in an email.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
You guys, they are not that bad. Dude. You are
so like you that week and then you go home.
It's such a waste of time.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
I'm usually eating pretzels the whole time.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Dude, you were watching like a presentation from Apple one time.
You don't even pay attention to you.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
That's because the new iPhone sixteen came out, and pay
attention at all.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
On top of this meeting, we have to hear you
crunching your pretzels.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Oh, he doesn't crunch his pretzels. He bites off the
little piece of salt on his pretzels. There was one
day that Jill and I were texting each other back
and forth in the studio like I'm going to die,
I'm going to jump out the window.
Speaker 6 (32:47):
If that was recording a commercial, Yes.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I'm recording a commercial. Please, Jo'll preach.
Speaker 6 (32:51):
Was recording a commercial with John's eating his salt, and
I like, like I saw textile, like can you hear
that salt crunching? And I didn't want to like for
John should do it?
Speaker 2 (33:01):
God forbid right now, God forbid, I'm recording commercials. Somebody
tells somebody to stop eating into the microphone. God forbid?
Speaker 4 (33:09):
Right If you could have used your words, you don't
have to text.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
We weren't trying to inform you. We're trying to be nice.
What you were I thought you might have the brain
cells to know that eating into a microphone. I'm recording
a commercial for whoever.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
You can tell me to stop eating my salt. I'm
not going to get offended at the weird for you too.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
He doesn't want to eat the pretzels. He bites off
the pieces of salt.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
I really like salts. I eat the salt first. It's
like pizza, Like I pick off my pepperoni's, I eat them,
and then I eat the slice of pizza.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
How much? Let me ask you this question, John, how
much does your girlfriend know about these behaviors? She calls
him out all the time, but she's well aware. Okay,
all right, as long as she's aware, I just want
her going in with her eyes wide open. You know.
I want to pull in a creed moment.
Speaker 6 (33:51):
We want you to eat those pretzels. We'll eat them
the way you want, just not while we're recording.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
Yeah, but I mean if I was not talking, I
don't always know that.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Like you know, Oh I took a I'm sorry, I
took your breath. In seven Alberson's wants you to stop
by and try out their brand new let me read
that again out exactly What a world? What a world?
It's one a four to three miles m Anyways, trying
to tell you Billy Joel was really really good. What
a great show? Into its Dome is fantastic. I'm gonna
write mystery into it a note tell him was great? Okay,
(34:19):
just fantastic. It feels like seventy five. The guy was
playing that piano. And by the way, he's got short,
chubby little fingers. No he does, he does.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
Not.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
You have piano fingers, Joe, you do, Billy? Joel has short,
chubby little fingers, right, he does. Well, that's what I'm
trying to say. That's where it's going. His mom was
the only person I believed in him. Everybody else thought
you'll never be a piano player. This is audio that
I've recorded. That's how good this guy is. That voice
(34:54):
is timeless. And the fact that he thinks he doesn't
have a great voice. Oh my god. Anybody that went
to the into a Dome was you were given a
one night only show. This absolutely blew your mind.
Speaker 6 (35:06):
He has a good voice.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
No, he never thought he had a good voice. He
realized hees a good piano player, and nobody believed he
could be a good piano players. But for the long time,
you thought he didn't have a great voice. And he
just destroyed at the into its home, which, by the way,
I believe that's where jingle Ball for iheart's going to
(35:29):
be too into its own. So that's very cool, and
it's loaded down tech. Every seat is going to a
USB port for your phone. Yeah, it's so cool.
Speaker 12 (35:37):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
They don't fully haven't figured out yet, I think.
Speaker 7 (35:40):
Because we went to see Usher there and we went
to that place you're talking about where they scan your face.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
And yes, they never charged us. So we.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Ate a bunch of food and then left and right.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Yeah, I won't charge your card.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Man. Did you put your card into the app?
Speaker 3 (35:55):
And yeah, I did everything appropriately.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
It's great. Well they're into a dome season. You get
free food there. Yeah, oh god, oh god. He's so good.
He brought out John Mayer on stage. John Mayer just
a total fan. He brought out Axl Rose from Guns
and Roses. Axel did some stuff for him too. Then
he brought out his daughter to sing as well. Cool,
(36:20):
yeah too, Famili the Young One, his latest daughter. And
now he has one daughter that actually does perform. But
this is for my wife Number four. All right, I've
gone down a dark one.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
Could up come one O four three my FM.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Here's what's coming up.
Speaker 18 (36:44):
In entertainment headlines, there.
Speaker 6 (36:47):
Was quite the upset at the box office this weekend
and the number one movie no one expected. I'll tell
you all about it. After chapping.
Speaker 18 (36:56):
One O four to three my FM Entertainment headline.
Speaker 6 (37:02):
Terrifier three was number one at the box office it's
opening weekend, making eighteen point two million dollars number one
movie in the country, but Joker fully Ado dropped eighty
one percent. It's the worst second weekend decline in history
for a comic book movie, and then also one of
(37:23):
the worst declines overall. It ended up coming in at
number three this weekend.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
If I didn't see Terrifier one or two, could I
see Terrifier three.
Speaker 6 (37:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
I've never heard this movie before my life.
Speaker 6 (37:35):
There's art the clown, That's all I know. It's another
scary clown. I've never seen any of these films, but
number one at the box office.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
To be fair, at least they're not hiding what they're about,
you know what I mean? A movie like that, you
know what you're gonna get when you go.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
In right exactly. And Season two of Shrinking premieres on
Apple TV Plus in just a couple of days on
October sixteenth, and Harrison Ford says he's still working as
an actor and still filming this show for the essential
human contact, He says, I get to imagine with people
that have great skill and experience. It's fun to work
(38:08):
with these people. I'm Jill with her gymn headlines.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Okay, we do have the Battle of Sexes coming up?
You want to play. It's eight sixty six five four
to four MYFM. Shout out to Ariana Grande. How great

John and I were talking about I asked if you
watched it, and he said he did, but much like me,
he just watched it on socials right right, yeah, TikTok.
The next morning, who actually watches Saturday Live in front
of the TV? Sits down and watches it? Does it
come on like eleven thirty or seven? It's late? Right?
I watched it on Instagram. She was amazing. Her bit
she did about Seline Dion hilarious. She nailed her. So
(38:41):
congrats to her eight sixty six five four four of
MYFM for the Battle of Sexes. All right now, oh.
Speaker 6 (38:48):

Speaker 6 (39:19):

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Yeah, his friend Leena was having a party.
Speaker 6 (39:23):

Speaker 5 (39:25):

Speaker 2 (39:26):
No, he likes He went with his buddies. He gets scared,
you know, like he enjoys it. Yeah, he likes it.
Speaker 5 (39:31):

Speaker 2 (39:50):
What two o nine he rolled into two old nine? Okay, okay?
Speaker 5 (39:54):
Four a M.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Well, no you're not. But four am sounds a lot
worse than to I am. I'll tell you that you're
like leaving for work? Yeah, like what's imagine that? And
pass him as I'm going out the driveway.
Speaker 6 (40:06):
Hey, bud, hey used to when I lived at home
with my sisters, they'd be coming home from a night
out and I would be right, britten jentlemen go out
together and.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
They kill him late and you're going to work.
Speaker 6 (40:17):
I was coming to work.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
You're coming to work like for something, and they were
coming home and for something. Yeah, what were they doing?
Speaker 6 (40:23):
Just hanging out with friends? Not even necessarily out out,
just with friends.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Well they had that rehearse, didn't they? Hey, colling it
later on this hour. Have you ever received a gift
that's been so thoughtful it made you cry? Text into

It is Valentine in the morning. This is one of
four three MIFM. The Dodgers have taken an early lead
in the NLCS. They crush the Mets nine to oh shutout. Congratulations.
The Dodgers have gone thirty three postseason innings without allowing
a single run, tying in the MLB record. Last Sight's
(45:25):
victory gives him a one zero series leader for New York.
Game two is actually this afternoon at Dodgers Stadium. Seven
to eleven has announced plans to close about four hundred
and fifty locations around the country. They say they've been
dealing with the decline in sales unless people coming into
their stores. Seven to eleven also says cigarette sales have
fallen by thirty percent over the past five years. That
(45:46):
was once the biggest sales category for convenience stores. Cigarette sales. Oh,
I mean, I don't feel bad about that, but maybe
let's fix up that slurping machine a bit. Stop running
out of flavors, you know what I mean? John? What's trending?
Speaker 5 (45:58):
So?
Speaker 4 (45:59):
Ariana Grande was on SNL over the weekend. She was
the host and she had some really great clips going viral.
It's been actually a good season for SNL in general,
but one sketch in particular. People seem to be gravitating
towards us. Her doing this impression of Celine Dion.
Speaker 22 (46:11):
There were nuns one yourself fusing Barns. Listen to it
outside it should we go for it?
Speaker 4 (46:26):
I had like no idea ariondergarn It was this good
at impressions.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
She does Whitney Houston.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
A little bit later in this clip, she did Britney Spears,
Sabrina Carpenter, Jennifer Coolidge. She had so many going on
through the entire night. So we'll throw a clip up
on our Instagram at Valentine in the morning. But oh,
here's Whinney Houstons.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
I don't know what that was coming up. A chance
to tour with Taylor Swift. You could attend taylor supposed
to last Aris tour stop in the United States, so
the very last nights of her Aras tour, you could
be there for that. That's coming up. Plus, have you
ever received a gift so thoughtful made you cry? The
team here along with Jill's husband Jeff, we purchased her
tickets for the aerostour in New Orleans and she bawled
(47:45):
like a baby.
Speaker 6 (47:46):
You are also thoughtful, shame right, like a Dimon.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
Thank you, Jill. I appreciate that.
Speaker 6 (47:55):
Jeff appreciates too.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
We were happy to be there for you every when

Speaker 2 (48:22):

you don't want to take Thursday off and just leave
early and enjoy yourself in New Orleans.
Speaker 6 (48:28):
Well, I'd love to do that, but flight's been.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
Booked and oh shoot, I.
Speaker 6 (48:33):
Didn't want to take too much time off.
Speaker 2 (48:34):

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Okay, Well sorry, the producer just shut you down. You
were done. You will not be sleeping in eight sixty
six five four four FM. Have you ever received the
gifts so thoughtful it made you cry? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (48:49):
I got one from my birthday last this last year. Actually,
my girlfriend went around to all of my friends and
she made this entire scrap book. She had all of
them write a paragraph of where our friendships attar and
like what they value about me, and she put it
in this entire book that I got to flip through
and read why all of my friends love me? And
it sounds so corny and lame, but like, you never
really get to hear that often. So when you get
(49:11):
to read that and you're like, oh wow, like I
can go back to that at any time.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
I had no idea it was coming, and it just
got it forever. Yeah, it meant the world to me.
Then if you guys beef it all you go. Hold
on page thirty five. I love me. Remember how great
I am? Michelle? Good morning? How are you today?
Speaker 5 (49:27):
Good?
Speaker 23 (49:28):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (49:28):
We're doing good? What's that thoughtful gift that made you cry?
Speaker 7 (49:32):
So?
Speaker 23 (49:32):
Actually it's on the flip side. I had gotten my
husband Felix, so we know it's me. He's upsessed with shoes.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Hold on, like me, just jump in real quick. Hold on,
did you say Felix so he knows it's me? You
want him to know it's you on the air? Oh, yes,
you do. You think your husband would recognize your voice.
Speaker 23 (49:52):
I don't know if he would, but it's yeah, I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (49:56):
Oh, no, one ten percent. He would hear you. Now,
he would know that's his wife on the radio. You
wouldn't have to say this is me.
Speaker 6 (50:03):
But maybe he's listening and he would never think that
Michelle would call in, So he's not putting two and
two together.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
I think, like, if you heard Jeff's voice in there,
you know it's right away.
Speaker 6 (50:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 22 (50:13):
It's hard.
Speaker 23 (50:15):
It's hard that.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
The show next door, the shot is pounding on the
iought we're having an Earth question. You guys didn't hear that,
but it was like, what is going on now? We're
totally distracted, But yes, Michelle, what did you purchase? Felix?
Speaker 23 (50:29):
Her husband Felix, Okay, so he's obsessed with Jordan's, like,
go Lore, but I I believe it's a pair either
Kobe's or I get I don't know Jordan's, but either
it was either the Kobe's or a silver pair of Jordan's.
Bottom line, I had to go pick up the kids.
Speaker 9 (50:47):
I was like your.
Speaker 23 (50:48):
Birthday presents there had to go.
Speaker 5 (50:49):
This was a couple of years.
Speaker 23 (50:50):
Ago, and he literally I came back to him crying
and I didn't know why, and it was just for me.
It's like overpair of shoes.
Speaker 5 (50:58):
Really sure, but apparently he really wanted them.
Speaker 17 (51:00):
And I'm like you, like, you know the normal, no
one's ever gone this for me, my mom.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
It is what it is.
Speaker 23 (51:05):
But yeah, he cried over a pair of shoes.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
Felix what's his last name?
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Too? So his friends Felix, Felix, Rayna cried over a
pair of Jordan's and his wife wants to tell the
entire world. Thanks Michelle, We appreciate you. Take care. Okay,
you too, have a great day. All right, bye, Michelle, Rina,
Thanks Valentine.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
In the morning at three one four three.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
We all drive Toyotis here on Valentine Morning. I'm a
priest prime my friend Jilson, raph Ford Johnson the Highlander.
Fun rides, super comfy, loaded down with tech two and
they get to save you money at the pump as well.
Speaker 6 (51:44):
And Saturday, I was at the Pantages and I was
in the parking structure and there are a couple of
cars ahead of me, and the attendant would talk to
them and then take them one way, go up to
the next car, shake his head, do the you know,
go that way. He got to me and he said,
are you okay backing up into a spot? And I
was like yeah, totally. He's like thank you. He's like
turn right. And it was this teeny tiny little spot
(52:06):
and so many people were saying no, they wouldn't be
able to back up into the spot, but I knew
the Raft four could handle it. Guys, only took me
one time with that backup camera. I looked so cool.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
You looked so cool.
Speaker 6 (52:17):
I thought like, yeah, I'm squeezing into this tiny spot.
Sure there was a wall to my left, just with ease,
just glide his right, the perfect amount of the same
side on like you know, equal sides of my left
and right to the lines. Oh, I was distan, thank you,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
She exited through the sun roof, but she did get
into that.
Speaker 6 (52:33):
Spot to climb over to the other side. But the
Toyota got me there. You can see what Toyota's right
for you by visiting toyota dot com.
Speaker 10 (52:40):
I'm an Italia Price and that's your chap.
Speaker 2 (52:43):
Natalia. Did anybody ever give you a gift or did
you give one that made them cry? It was so special,
you know.
Speaker 8 (52:49):
I go back to think there was a time where
I was dating someone and I got broken up with
and I was really sad about it. And then my
birthday came and my girlfriends like put their money together
and they bought me like a heartneck.
Speaker 10 (53:00):
Listen, They're like, we love you.
Speaker 6 (53:01):
I cry.
Speaker 2 (53:02):
Oh that's sweet, he doesn't, but we don't, all right. Weather,
Today's sunny, highs in the eighties, upper sixties, low seventies
or the beaches. Today's gonna be the hottest day of the week.
Though then it's going to Cool Off fifty eight in
Hollywood sixty three Long Beach. Jill's got the entertainment headlines
coming up, Stranger Things.
Speaker 6 (53:19):
Star Finn Wolfard says, there's one very meaningful prop you'd
like to take from the Stranger Thing set. I'll tell
you what that is coming up some fiftie.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
If you're getting ready for work or headed into school
this morning, has anybody ever gotten you a gift that
was so special, so special it made you cry. We
started talking about it because Jill is planning to go
to the Aerostour in New Orleans to see Taylor Swift.
We have your shot to go to the absolutely last
day of the Aras tour coming up. Two Taylor songs
(53:48):
in a row. You get qualified to go to see
her in her final stop in the United States. Today.
On one of four to three, MYFM.
Speaker 6 (53:56):
Perla texted and said, when I was younger, my cousin
has got me the High School Musical Trilogy for Christmas,
and I sobbed from happiness. Anita said, my daughter paid
to get my wedding ring resized and shined up on
my anniversary. Was a very thoughtful gift. And then Felicia said,
my family finally supported my desire to have a horse.
(54:16):
At my fiftieth birthday.
Speaker 2 (54:20):
Hi, Julie, how are you today?
Speaker 5 (54:23):
Hi?
Speaker 19 (54:23):
I'm good. How are you guys?
Speaker 2 (54:24):
We're doing great? What was that gift that made you cry?
Speaker 19 (54:29):
My best friend since the third grade gave me a
small sculpture of two friends hugging each other after I'd
been on medical leave for four months, and it was
a complete surprise. I went up to Suckermano to visit her,
thought we were just having breakfast, and she pulled out
a gift for my son's birthday, and then another gift
(54:49):
for me, just telling me how strong I was, congratulating
me on finishing medical treatment and being able to go
back to work.
Speaker 2 (54:56):
Hey, so that gift represented the two of you holding
each other right, hugging each other. They are the two friends. Yes,
Oh that's awesome. So how are you now? Medically? Are
you doing okay?
Speaker 19 (55:06):
I'm doing okay. Yes, I've been back at work since January.
About to pick up my students in about five minutes,
and I'm doing well. But she checks in on me
and least once a week how I'm doing. But that
gives made me cry that day and every day for
a week and every time I look at it pretty much.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Oh my gosh, what do you do for living? You
mentioned students? What do you do?
Speaker 19 (55:29):
I'm a first grade teacher in Pasadena.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Oh fantastic? And how great are those first graders? Right?
Speaker 19 (55:36):
They are really really sweet, very very caring and loving
and love to get their hugs every day and their
smiles and their laughs. They try to make them laugh
all the time.
Speaker 2 (55:47):
When did the hugs stop? Like, as a teacher, like
when do you know? Kids come in the room, they
hug you and stuff and all that. What great is that?
I don't know.
Speaker 19 (55:56):
I don't know. My first few years I taught fourth grade,
and I still keep in touch with two of them.
They're eight, so I guess I think it's twenty eight.
They still give me huggs.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
That's awesome. Well, at least you don't have stinky kids yet, right,
don't they turn it? Like sixth grade or so? Like
that fifth or six the cir good purity and this
are getting stinky.
Speaker 19 (56:21):
Yeah, I'm the highest grade I've thought is fifth, So
I've stayed away from the stinkiness.
Speaker 7 (56:25):
That's middle school, I guess fast.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
Thanks Julie, Thanks for what you're doing you. Take care? Okay,
thank you so much. Have a great day, all right,
appreciate you. Eight sixty six five four four FM text
and three one O four three The gift that made
you cry seven thirty eight. This is Stephen Sanchez. Yeah,
(56:51):
Steven Sanchez, one of four three, my Fami. It is
Valentine in the morning, kind of overcast and dreary on
this Monday morning. It's gonna be hot today though then
later on the week. I do believe we have a
cool down coming up.
Speaker 6 (57:01):
Yeah, it's definitely going to cool down and some drizzle
expected starting Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
Beth tell us about that thoughtful gift that made you cry.
Speaker 5 (57:11):
My college daughter bought a family photo session.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
All that's cute. So you guys all went down to Sears.
Speaker 5 (57:20):
No, it was somebody that I actually I work with,
and she said that we had to wait until everybody
was together so that we could have the whole family.
Speaker 2 (57:29):
Oh that's a picture that you're always gonna love, right,
family photo.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
Yes, yes, Well, I had just become a grandma for
the first time, and she likes to kind of not
stay in this country. So to get by the college
kid home and in the country long enough to get
the family picture taken. It takes all a while.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
So how great did it turn out? Everybody has their
eyes open and everything?
Speaker 5 (57:51):
Oh yeah, well we took we had quite a session.
So yeah.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
We hadession love of eye closing. In my family, it
was always that one eye closer. Somebody always close their eyes.
Speaker 5 (58:01):
Well, you have to understand, with my husband's side of
the family, you either get eyes or you get a smile,
but you can't have both because if they smile, you
lose their eyes.
Speaker 2 (58:10):
If they smile, they lose their eyes. They just they
close and they smile.
Speaker 5 (58:16):
Yes, they just their cheeks like go up so big,
like you can't they have little slips like they can see,
but you just don't see their eyes.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
Do they have like chubby little cheeks and his family
or something.
Speaker 5 (58:25):
No, not really, it's just a it's just a family thing.
So we tell them, you know, you have to choose,
do you go on eyes or do you go on
to smile.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
That is hilarious and you say that before the photoshit
every time. All right, people we doing eyes or smiles?
What are we doing eyes or smiles?
Speaker 5 (58:40):
No, we just kind of leave it up to them
that way, you never know what you're gonna get Oh.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
My god, that's great. Well thanks to calling Bath and
glad she got you that session.
Speaker 5 (58:49):
Oh yeah, so am I thank you all right?
Speaker 18 (58:51):
By one oh four to three my FM, here's what's
coming up and Entertainment's headlines.
Speaker 6 (58:57):
Netflix is working on a new series based on a
book that has a moment in the story that makes
so many people swoon and Valentine, you're especially gonna love this.
I'll tell you what it is after traffic one four
to three my FM.
Speaker 18 (59:12):
Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 6 (59:14):
Stranger Things is coming to an end after this next season,
and it's Starfin Wolford, who plays Mark, who plays Mike
on the show. He says there are some very meaningful
props he'd like to take from the set, one of
them being the first Dungeons and Dragons piece that he
slams on the table from a scene during season one.
He thought that would be really cool to keep Ben,
he said, obviously the bikes. The bikes are amazing and
(59:37):
that's what these characters use to get around for all
of these different seasons. So he would love to take
a bike from set. And it's been adapted several times.
My favorite is a two thousand and five movie with
Kieren Knightley and Matthew mcfaden. But a series based on
Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is in development over at Netflix.
There is no cast attached yet. The project has not
(59:59):
been green lit at Netflix just yet, but it's looking
like it is going to be coming to nut Fla.
Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
Well, thank you, missus Darcy.
Speaker 6 (01:00:07):
I knew that was you guys, right, Yeah, mister and
missus Darcy, that's us. Yes, thank god, I got that right.
I second guessed myself. So as like, wait, is that
Leilani and Bell's book?
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Yeah? Would you like that book?
Speaker 14 (01:00:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
I have several copies of that book. I have a
first edition.
Speaker 6 (01:00:24):
Do you really?
Speaker 13 (01:00:26):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (01:00:27):
I'm still deadline.
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
She's a beautiful husky mix.

Speaker 4 (01:14:58):

You're doing yoga with live goats in the room. Well,
there's this yoga studio in Costa Mesa that's trending right now.
They're offering snake.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Yoga, or people are doing yoga.
Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
With pythons around them. According to the owner. She said,
we find them fascinating creatures and our goals to help
people unlearn everything that they think that they know about
these misunderstood creatures. So this class not only has you
handling snakes, but they're slithering on your body as you're
doing yoga.
Speaker 12 (01:15:22):
Pop.
Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
Oh gosh, absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (01:15:24):

your kids to a concert and then regret it?
Speaker 6 (01:15:56):
Katie texted in and said, I took my daughter to
see Maroon five. Now she's addicted to concerts and begs
me to take her every time they're playing. And then
Haley said, my mom took me to see Marilyn Manson
when I was in my teens. I loved it. She
did it. She kept making the sign of the Cross.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
God Lover, God Lover Marilyn Manson and the Father Son

Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Great?
Speaker 17 (01:16:41):
Great, good to talk to you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Let's chat with you. So what was that moment where
you took a kid to a concert and then you
regret it?
Speaker 17 (01:16:48):
So probably about five years ago friends of ours had
gotten free tickets to go to this like Nickelodeon Kid's
Choice kind of concert, and she couldn't go. She asked
me to fill in for her, and I said, absolutely,
no problem. She got the you know, got the free tickets,
and you know it was one of those situations of
you know, you get what you paid for.
Speaker 20 (01:17:10):
If we had to arrive like.
Speaker 17 (01:17:12):
Seven or eight hours early, sit in lines where there
was no food and water all day, and the poor
kids were super cranky and.
Speaker 6 (01:17:19):
Hot right because it was at the beach.
Speaker 17 (01:17:21):
In Hermosa Beach, so we were like baking in the sun.
And then the ice of the icing on the cake
was when we finally got let in. All the adults
that were also waiting in this line that got the
free tickets, even though it was a kids concert, rushed
the front and they were all in the front, and
the poor kids who were you know, young, and they
(01:17:41):
could see over their heads and they were kind of
relegated to the sticks.
Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
This is a Nickelodeon show. And they had people standing
out there for hours upon hours, and then the adults
went to the front.
Speaker 17 (01:17:51):
Absolutely absolutely there was it was so poorly like organized
that never on stage.
Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
What were some of the bands?
Speaker 20 (01:18:00):
Oh god, it was so long ago.
Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
I don't even heard.
Speaker 19 (01:18:05):
I mean, that's the thing.
Speaker 17 (01:18:06):
It wasn't even like you know people.
Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
It's like nick artists, right, and they're all Russian adults
in front of the watch Drake and Josh.
Speaker 6 (01:18:12):
You would think Nickelodeon would have want all the kids
up there front of course, right right.
Speaker 17 (01:18:17):
I mean that's what I said. For the optics. It
was something that was televised.
Speaker 5 (01:18:20):
You would have not they would have want the kids.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
I feel bad, okay, and the kids were just exhausting
out all day. That stinks totally, totally.
Speaker 17 (01:18:28):
So we left there and ran and found the nearest
Taco Dan and just set them up.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
There you go, Thanks calling, you have a great day.
Speaker 6 (01:18:34):
Okay, you too, take care.
Speaker 2 (01:18:36):
Okay, But by Violet, good morning, how are you today?
Speaker 5 (01:18:40):
Good morning?
Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Good So the concert you took your kids to and
then you regretted it.
Speaker 5 (01:18:46):
Okay, So here we go. So my eight year my
baby child is turning eight and she her birthday wish
is to see new kids on the block. Okay, well,
I'm like, no problem. That's my all time plus years
of my teens.
Speaker 2 (01:19:01):

is going to be her birthday. We're not doing a party.
We're going to splurge.
Speaker 20 (01:19:17):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
I'm so excited. I have my husband and my teenagers.
So we're four. This is her birthday. So I'm like,
we're here, this is it. We're on the floor. Who
as soon as they come closer to us, they start
taking off their shirts. She's having a panic attack. Mom,
they're taking off their shirt.
Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
Way to cry.
Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
She was done stopping. There's all these new kids on stage,
friends of mine. Joey Max starts taking his shirt off,
flashing his baby blues, and you got your eight year
old daughter going, why is this man naked in front
of me?
Speaker 19 (01:19:53):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
Right, yes, I.
Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
Really thought you were going to talk about like a
crowd thing. It's the floor. They rushed this age but
were dancing yard, but it was visually what she was
seeing was freaking her out.
Speaker 5 (01:20:04):
Yes, so she was done. My teenager checked out, and
then my husband was they're just sitting there. So after that,
I just go to New Kids with my best friend.
Speaker 4 (01:20:16):

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Christine, good morning, how are you today?
Speaker 20 (01:22:13):
Good good morning guys.
Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
So what was the concert you took your kids to
that you regretted?
Speaker 20 (01:22:19):
So the very first concert my kids went to.
Speaker 21 (01:22:22):
I wanted to go because.
Speaker 20 (01:22:24):
I wanted to hear what kind of music they liked.
Speaker 21 (01:22:26):
I read all the Harry Potter books with them, and
I'm like, Okay, well let's go to this corn concert.
And I didn't know Rob Zombie was going to be
there as well, so We're in the concert and this
guy's next to me trying to get me, thinking that
I was their sister to smoke pot and I'm like, no,
I'm cool.
Speaker 20 (01:22:45):
Then they invited us to a party afterwards, and again
we said no, and then the Mots kid and everybody,
all the women were putting their tops up, and I'm like,
oh my gosh, my kids.
Speaker 5 (01:22:57):
Are twelve and thirteen.
Speaker 20 (01:22:58):
They shouldn't be seeing this.
Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
So your kids are twelve and thirteen at this show.
You took in the corn twelve and thirteen.
Speaker 5 (01:23:05):
I did.
Speaker 20 (01:23:05):
I didn't know. I was kind of a square mom,
and I thought, okay, you know whatever it was.
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
So the kids were listening to the corn music. And
then you said, let's go to a corn show.
Speaker 20 (01:23:15):
Yes, down in San Diego.
Speaker 2 (01:23:16):
Didn't you check the spelling of corn. That should be
your first clue. They spell it with a K.
Speaker 20 (01:23:23):
You know, I still don't get it, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:23:25):
So, oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (01:23:29):
We survived.
Speaker 20 (01:23:30):
And yeah, I think we've all got, you know, contact
highs from all the you.
Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
Know, I know, I know, I know. We're playing a
bit of corn in the background for anybody else listening.
Oh that sounds like a real hoop. That sounds like
so much fun that show Christine. How old are your
kids now?
Speaker 20 (01:23:50):
Right?
Speaker 21 (01:23:52):
Thirty nine, thirty eight and thirty six?
Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Gotcha they turned out?
Speaker 20 (01:23:55):
Okay, God bless them amazing, Yes they did.
Speaker 2 (01:23:59):
All right, there you go, just the concert by the
concert right exactly. Thanks for seeing, have a great day,
take care all.
Speaker 20 (01:24:05):
Right, bye bye.
Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
She's coming from O.
Speaker 15 (01:24:08):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
That's supposed to be a really nice area, isn't it.
Oh yeah, yeah right, Oh that'll make everybody cry. That's
a rager.
Speaker 6 (01:24:19):
A lot of people lift up their tops. Yeah, that's
like vividly remember really you were there, yeah with my
mom my sisters are friends.
Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Yeah, interesting into the spirit of things. Just lifted up
my top just to submit you my belly button.
Speaker 21 (01:24:45):
Keep a dream by in the quiet of the night and.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
One unfour three my family, It is Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 9 (01:25:09):
I'm good?
Speaker 2 (01:25:09):
How are you were there? Good? Where are you working?
Where are you at?
Speaker 9 (01:25:12):
I work for a railroad, so I'm in a railroad
yard right now.
Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
I thought I heard some trains coming by yourself.
Speaker 9 (01:25:19):
Yes, I actually work with Jill cousin Mark his wife
or day.
Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
Oh my gosh, oh nice Jill's cousin Mark his wife
every day.
Speaker 9 (01:25:30):
Yes, and I have met Jill before. We actually stopped
once at our house to use to rust room on
the way back from a soccer tournament.
Speaker 6 (01:25:37):
I remember.
Speaker 9 (01:25:38):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
Do you feel like Jill would be a caboose or
an engine?
Speaker 5 (01:25:45):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (01:25:45):
She's definitely an engine. Take charge kind of girls.
Speaker 6 (01:25:48):
Thank you, Summer. Plus, I don't have the kabooz to
be a caboose. Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
Oh? God, am I the caboose? You might be a caboose?
So Summer, what was the show you took your kids
to and then you regredit it?
Speaker 9 (01:26:00):
We went to see Tyler the Creator for my daughters birthday,
and let me tell you, we should have known something
was wrong when we saw a sign that said parent area,
and when we took our seat and all of a sudden,
the fog started and the music was so loud my
(01:26:21):
husband started to have an asthma attached. And we sat
at a table where we did get to order food
and drinks, but the door kept opening for the waitresses
to deliver food, and the mosh pit was right there,
and the music was so loud that I could not
talk to my husband, who was sitting across from me,
(01:26:43):
of course, and yeah, then we could hear the lyrics
to the music. But we both agreed maybe this one
wasn't the greatest one.
Speaker 2 (01:26:54):
Yeah. I've had a few of those moments myself. Yeah,
but my god, I didn't know Tyler the creator had
a parent area. That's hilarious.
Speaker 9 (01:27:01):
We have never we have gone to wreck Thorne County,
Shawn Mendez h Jonah's brother, never have we seen a
parent area.
Speaker 2 (01:27:12):
And the funny part is like Sean Mendez Jonahs brothers,
Tyler their creators.
Speaker 6 (01:27:18):
Is this the show Colin went too? And there was
a big butt on stage? Or is that someone else?
Speaker 9 (01:27:28):
Are we talking about the train yard again?
Speaker 2 (01:27:42):
One of four?
Speaker 11 (01:27:42):
Three?
Speaker 2 (01:27:42):
My family. It is Valentine in the morning. Good morning, CARAA.
How are you today?
Speaker 15 (01:27:47):

Speaker 6 (01:27:54):

Speaker 2 (01:27:57):

Speaker 5 (01:27:58):

Speaker 6 (01:27:59):
Here at work, Joe.
Speaker 20 (01:28:00):
I am at work and I'm super excited. Want Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (01:28:04):
Okay, before we let you know, this is our friend John.
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
I need to introduce myself.
Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
Hi care, nice to meet you.
Speaker 20 (01:28:09):
Hi Son. How are you nice to meet?
Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Good things?
Speaker 9 (01:28:12):
Caro?
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
Where do you work? Who did you for a living?
Speaker 5 (01:28:15):
I worked for a coffee company in the city of Earning,
a coffee company.
Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
What's what's the name of your company? What is it again?
That sounds expensive? Gavinia? Is that expensive?
Speaker 19 (01:28:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:28:31):
A little bit?
Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
All right, Well I'll expect to give.
Speaker 5 (01:28:36):
Francisco Don Francisco.
Speaker 2 (01:28:38):
Oh, Don Francisco called me?
Speaker 6 (01:28:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
Is he the guy that rides a mule?
Speaker 8 (01:28:43):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:28:43):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:28:44):
Yeah, how long, whatever or whatever?
Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
Just get to the price for God saying stuff asking
me questions. You're qualified to see Taylor Swift on the
final stop of the Era's tour. Congratulations your college twenty guys,
thank you, thank you, Thank you. Taylor Swift. Merch coming
your way. You're in to win the entire thing. We
could be sending you the exact last show of the
(01:29:08):
arastur the final show. How big would that be?
Speaker 19 (01:29:12):
I'd be super super super super excited.
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
I can tell you seem like a super super excited person.
So this would be the final show, and you don't
know what's going to happen in the final shows. I mean,
she brings out people, her friends come out. It's a massive,
massive party, the final show in the United States of
America for Taylor Swift.
Speaker 5 (01:29:28):
And maybe get to see Travis too, right, I.
Speaker 6 (01:29:30):
Know he's got to be there, right that last show.
He might even be on stage again.
Speaker 5 (01:29:36):
You never know, right, right, right, right?
Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
Hey, everyone say gone Francisco.
Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
Congratulations, all right, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (01:29:50):
Okay, hang on here, we got all information, Hang on
one second, flights, hotel, all that thrown in. It's very calm, quiet. Well,
she's at work. People always say that, and I don't
understand that. I've never gotten that. Like, work's not gonna
care if you just want to trip for Taylor Swift
or something. You know, right, you'll be excited for you,
won't they Right.
Speaker 6 (01:30:10):
But as excited as you are, you don't want to
draw attention to yourself. Maybe so you don't want to
be screaming and like super excited with all your coworkers around.
Speaker 3 (01:30:17):
And her boss is probably like, where's that report you
were working?
Speaker 2 (01:30:20):
Yeah, I'm listening to the radio. Well it's eight forty six.
Come on one O four to three my FM.
Speaker 18 (01:30:26):
Here's what's coming up and entertainment headlines.
Speaker 6 (01:30:29):
Well, speaking of Taylor Swift, she wore something over the
weekend during her date night with Travis Kelce that makes
fans believe it's a reputation easter egg. I'll tell you
what it was, might.
Speaker 18 (01:30:39):
Have to traffick one O four to three my FM
Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
Taylor Swift is known for using her fashion and her
outfits to kind of give these little secret messages to fans,
and over the weekend she had a couple different date
nights with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, and on one of
the nights, she was carrying a black bag and had
a gold monogram of an R on it placed in
between two snakes, and the snakes is a symbol of
(01:31:04):
her reputation era and we are still waiting for Reputation
Taylor's version to be released, so fans are thinking this
could be a little easter egg. And also she had
a gold Medusa logo on her shoes, so people are thinking, Okay,
we know it's coming, we know it'll be here eventually,
but now we're seeing all kinds of different little Easter
eggs that are saying or making us think it's going
(01:31:27):
to be sooner rather than later. And Jenna Ortega plays
Wednesday in the Netflix Wednesday series, and there is this
TikTok trend going around. There's a certain Wednesday doll sold
in different stores and you can flip the hair back
on this doll to make Wednesday look completely bald. And
people are going around filming themselves doing this on TikTok,
(01:31:48):
taking all the dolls put in their hair back. Finally,
Jena Ortega had to step in and she commented on
one video and just said, please don't. And stores are
even putting up signs that say if we see you
putting the hair back and changing the hair on these dolls,
you will be asked to leave. So Jenna Ortega is
asking you to please stop mistreating the Wednesday dolls.
Speaker 4 (01:32:06):
My favorite trend because like, why do they care so much?
Like what are they not telling us?
Speaker 6 (01:32:10):
Right? I'm deal with their headline?
Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
What do you think they're hiding? John? That's what I mean?
Speaker 4 (01:32:14):
Like, so what the doll looks bald when you walk
by it in the store, Like why.
Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
Is it such a big deal?
Speaker 6 (01:32:18):
They don't want you doing it.
Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
That's why it's hilarious to me. Have you done it? John?
Have you done this trend?
Speaker 4 (01:32:22):
I haven't seen them in stores, but I've seen it
on TikTok for sure.
Speaker 6 (01:32:25):
If you were to see a doll will you be
flipping there a hunch percent?
Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
Stop me? Jenna Ortega eight fifty four. It is one
of four to three my FM. This is Valenta in
that morning. Would you like one thousand bucks? We got
one thousand dollars for you coming up at nine o'clock
when a grand or a thousand dollars Phillip right here
on one of four to three MYFM. This is Sabrina
Carpeter Espresso. Justin Weaver Ghost, one of four three my fam.
(01:32:55):
It is Valentine in the morning. I gotta anybody ever
try and get out of a speeding ticket. I didn't
get one. Somebody close to me got one. Somebody close
to me for twenty six years. Oh, you're not saying
any names there, and people are like, well, why didn't
you just have your wife, your twenty six year friend
(01:33:16):
tell the officer that you were a police officer. That's
one of my buddies said to me this weekend. That's
soccer go. Yeah, but I mean my wife can't go.
Oh my husband was a call twenty years ago. It's
not gonna work in a different state. You know that's
not gonna fly. Don't flash your Northern ten at me.
It's not gonna work. So you know, I know she
can dig like traffic school that's still available. Probably. Yeah,
(01:33:38):
let's say it was something like eighty four and a
sixty five.
Speaker 3 (01:33:40):
I mean, after she got the ticket, isn't it too
late in the It's.
Speaker 2 (01:33:44):
Too late yet in the moment, right, But can you flirt?
I don't if she flirted at all. I think she
told the truth that there was a guy that was
aggressively driving behind her and she had to speed up
to let the aggressive driver get passed, and then that's
when she got popped, which didn't fly with the officer.
But I mean, does it work to go to court?
Could she's say that at court? Does anybody know I
haven't done that stuff in years?
Speaker 4 (01:34:04):
I think you can still bet on the officer not
showing up, and then it's up to the judge if
they want to dismiss your case if they don't show up.
Speaker 2 (01:34:10):
Does that is that how it works? I thought if
the officer doesn't show. It wasn't automatic dismissal. It could
move the trial at that point. It can. It's up
to the judge. Yes, it really as far as I know. Okay,
well you were almost a lawyer. Yeah, so I trust you.
I wouldn't though. You know. Then I saw the same
officer writing tickets over the weekend in the same spot.
He's got the spot. Yeah, he's got the spot. Just
(01:34:31):
sit in that spot. Someone's gonna come by offer themselves
up for you know, tribute.
Speaker 6 (01:34:38):
I'll tell his friend maybe just go to the court case.
Speaker 4 (01:34:42):
See what happens.
Speaker 6 (01:34:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:34:43):
Well, it's like eight o'clock on a Tuesday, and Colle's
got school, this other kid in school. So I'm thinking,
like they should move it to night court because the
night court judge was the best, remember him? God let
me pass away? Super cool? Yeah, night Court. They played
the saxophone in the court. Yes, it's a fun hang
night Court. It's a TV show. Oh, I gotta be
based on reality. Okay, I wonder. I wonder because honestly,
(01:35:04):
what's gonna happen is if we pay the fine and
do the traffic school, I'm gonna be the one taking
traffic school. This friend's gonna pawn it off friends. No, No,
you're not married to the friend apparently. Oh.
Speaker 16 (01:35:19):
From sit dams and SI lease to full size trucks.
Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.
Speaker 6 (01:35:27):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (01:35:32):
Last night, the Dodgers faced the New York Mets in
Game one of the NLCS. The Dodgers dominated pitcher Jack
Flaherty and two relievers shut out the Mets and the
Dodgers one nine to zero. Flherty is an LA native
who grew up as a Dodgers fan. He went to
so many games as a kid with his mother. Game
two the NLCS is this afternoon at one eight. Seven
eleven has announced plans to close about four hundred and
(01:35:53):
fifty locations around the country. They say they've been dealing
with the decline in sales unless people come into their
stores too, I guess. Seven eleven also says cigarette sales
have fallen by thirty percent, which is a great thing. Obviously,
we want that to happen. That's happened over the past
five years of thirty percent decline. That was once the
biggest sales category for convenience stores. You would have thought
(01:36:14):
it was those hot dogs that have been sitting there
for more than twenty four hours, but apparently it was cigarettes. John,
what's trending?
Speaker 7 (01:36:19):
So?
Speaker 4 (01:36:19):
Ariana Grande was the host of snl Over the Weekend.
She did a really great job. She's got a ton
of clips going viral from that night. One of them
was her monologue where she did these impressions.
Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
Of Britney Spears.
Speaker 4 (01:36:29):
She did Miley Cyrus, Gwen Stefani, no.
Speaker 22 (01:36:31):
Britney Spears today.
Speaker 2 (01:36:34):
If you ask me again.
Speaker 22 (01:36:36):
I'll say the same thing. No, I'm not gonna do
Miley Cyrus.
Speaker 6 (01:36:46):
Because baby, that ain't gonna work.
Speaker 22 (01:36:50):
I'm not gonna do Gwen's to fun because don't think
the promise on nothing ill no ims.
Speaker 2 (01:37:01):
A wall Michael I get blows my mind. She can
do some of these impressions.
Speaker 3 (01:37:07):
So well at my camera.
Speaker 4 (01:37:09):
So we'll put a clip off on her Instagram. In
the stories at Valentine in the morning, I'm John Cammuchi.
That's what's training on socials.
Speaker 22 (01:37:14):
You about Wicked, because tonight I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:37:17):
Give that going.
Speaker 22 (01:37:20):
Didn't anybody tell you?
Speaker 6 (01:37:21):
Tell me what we cut the Wicked sketch?
Speaker 2 (01:37:24):
Oh that's okay.
Speaker 6 (01:37:26):
I didn't want to do it anyway.
Speaker 22 (01:37:29):
Great and this isn't a one, it's a flask, so
you hit the panial.
Speaker 2 (01:37:34):
I have to go back and watch some this. I
saw a few clips that I was just so impressed
with everything she did per Salne Deanna impression is so
spot on. And then you wonder these artists that she's
doing impressions of did they love them? Did they just
were they overjoyed? Or I think so too. There's nothing
bad yet distaste from ladies.
Speaker 10 (01:37:53):
Oh my god, you're so tall.
Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
I've got such a new creation for this appreciation for
this younger. You know, she's super teeny, right, she's very petite,
like three eleven or something that's fall But honestly, like
John was saying, it's so much trending stuff about her.
Right now, everybody's talking about the job that she did
(01:38:20):
on SNL. The Tali Press is a borning trapping the tale.
What's going on?
Speaker 10 (01:38:25):
We're going out to Mission Hills right now. Four or
five is south right after the eighteen.
Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
Randma Sliny Gomez calm down one A four to three,
My family, it is Valentine the morning. Hopefully your Monday's
going well. I know some people had it off for
Indigital's Indigenous People's Day. I say, Columbus. And then my
son's off from school today, he's off tomorrow, he's off
from Friday. What's going on.
Speaker 6 (01:38:47):
That's a nice little break, m h.
Speaker 2 (01:38:49):
I guess a lot of kids have some days off
right about now. Fall break was never something that was
on my radar when I was a kid. We didn't
get fall break. And this isn't even fall break. It's
like a mini fall break.
Speaker 6 (01:39:00):
Have another one coming out?
Speaker 5 (01:39:01):
I know.
Speaker 6 (01:39:01):
Wow, Yeah, we didn't have fall break either.
Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
No same. But do your schools have it now?
Speaker 3 (01:39:07):
My kids don't.
Speaker 2 (01:39:09):
They don't, I don't think so. Hold on, let me
make a phone calls.
Speaker 3 (01:39:16):
Such a cliche, but I have to ask my wife.
Speaker 2 (01:39:18):
I don't know. It's not funny, it's pathetic. Somebody said
something to me this weekend too, and I go, I
have to ask my wife, Well, I asked you what
your middle name was? I gotta check in with my wife.
We're such married, but at that point where you know,
it's important to understand that our wives run so much
of our social life too, and they're part of our
social network. They maintained so many you know, connections and
(01:39:40):
stuff with the kids in school and stuff like you
and I aren't doing that.
Speaker 3 (01:39:43):
Oh no, I'm bad at it.
Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
School. Our kid goes to no one where they are
a school. They're not shout out to the wives out there.
Speaker 18 (01:39:53):
One four three My SM Entertainment headlines Terrify.
Speaker 6 (01:39:57):
Are three came in at number one at that's a
box office, a total surprise, making eighteen point two million
dollars in its opening weekend. And The Joker Fully Ado
It came in at number third and it dropped eighty
one percent. That's the worst second weekend decline in history
for a comic book movie and one of the worst overall.
(01:40:19):
The Wild Robot finished in second this weekend, making thirteen
point four million, and Season two of the show Shrinking
premieres on Apple TV Plus on October sixteenth, and Harrison
Ford says he's still working as an actor. At eighty
two for the quote essential human contact, he said, Oh man,
I get out of it, essential human contact. I get
(01:40:39):
to imagine with people that have great skill and experience.
It's a fun place to work with these people I'm
joke with. They're in tim and headlines all.
Speaker 2 (01:40:46):
Right, Jill, thank you for your show. Show John, think
you yours show, show right, thank every show. Laur on
the couch, think every show. Michael Pullman in New York City,
think of your show. And Natalia Perez is not there.
That's right, John's doing traffic. Natia is the head of
the Dodger standing correct, correctly. She's playing today, going to
play for the Dodgers. The tie is an on field
reporter and host for the Dodgers. So go get him
(01:41:09):
the John. Let's get a final check in the morning. Traffic.
Speaker 4 (01:41:13):
What do we got, Well, it's a slow ride leaving
upland going to Pomona in the tene
